I'll give you a bit from "It Takes Two to Tango", aka the sequel to "Three Sad Thoughts, Danced", which I *swear* I am working on

(...) Living alone is a challenge, too. A struggle to keep himself busy at all times. Everything in the flat simultaneously reminds him of John and feels like a hollow shell, without him.

The thought of a future where he’ll have to exist alone, is something he tries not to dwell on.

Lately, it’s been a constant trickle of giving up, in small bits and chunks, what he once had with John. He’s willing to do it; he can take it all in stride, if it’s for John’s sake - or so he thought, until last Friday. He had imagined that kiss so many times, his harmless fantasy being the last of his privileges. And now, John has taken away this too, because now that it happened, it doesn’t feel like a victory. It feels like John threw him a scrap under the table, well knowing Sherlock is not invited to the feast.

I'd usually reply with "The Perfect Blend", but earlier today I was re-reading my Fluffbruary ficlets (collected here on Ao3) and they made me smile and awwww and giggle, and I'm still so proud I could pull off the feat of writing consistently for 28 days in a row.

43. Is there a trope or idea that you’d really like to write but haven’t yet?

Oh, believe me... SO many I had to make an excel file, lol. Most of them are AUs; of course I'd want to write one for any of my fave shows/movies... and the list is long.

One thing I always struggled picturing myself writing, is a case fic. 'Cause, you know, you have to be *clever* to do that. Until - last night, actually! How timely! - I realized that I can take inspiration from real life, can't I? And finally make my obsession with true crime pay off, haha. So here's my freshest idea/synopsis (as if I needed one more...) which is going straight to my "to do" list:

A serial killer has been operating in Italy for decades; never being caught despite all efforts. John and Sherlock go there to investigate.

They'll be staying in the countryside.

There's a pool.

And too many beds.

Leon S. Kennedy x reader

Shortly after his mission in Spain, Leon had countless visits to the doctors to ensure that the Plaga had indeed been eradicated from his body. And much to his surprise, the parasite had been destroyed on the island, along with Ashley.

However, on a calm afternoon, Leon was getting changed in your shared bathroom, examining the scar on his chest given to him by Krauser when suddenly his body erupted in a great pain.

Sinking to the tiled floor, Leon gripped his side and shouted for your aid. Rushing him to the ER, your boyfriend had to have emergency surgery to have his appendix removed.

The surgery went without a hitch and President Graham was able to give both you and Leon the vacation you deserved.

Returning home from the hospital, you made sure that Leon stayed put in two spots in your apartment: the couch and the comfort of your bed. Not wanting to cause a fuss, he did as you asked, and only walked around under your constant supervision.

You hadn't been so lucky with your appendix in the past, and about two months into dating Leon, your own appendage partially burst, causing a slight infection. But otherwise, there was no permanent damage.

Towards the end of his recovery, Leon spent the remainder of his afternoons on the couch watching movies or finishing tv shows with you.

So on this day, he had his head in your lap, coming down with a small fever. Dabbing a cool washcloth on Leon's sweaty face and neck, he couldn't take the feeling of his shirt anymore. So you took it off and tossed it on the coffee table.

"Thank you for this, Y/N. I don't deserve you." He whispered while you wiped off his shoulders and chest, then you pushed his dark hair away from his face.

"Of course. I'm always here for you, Lee. No matter how scary the situation is. Even if it makes my heart stop." You replied with a smile.

Taking your hand in his, Leon placed your fingers over the healing tissue on his chest, letting you feel the scar for the first time.

"My heart is still here. And it's still beating for you." He answered, letting you feel the rhythm of his heartbeat.

Just bc you feel worthless and you think that your life has no meaning doesn't make it true. Just bc you think bad thinks about a race of people doesn't inherently mean you'll act on those thoughts; racists are racists not bc they think Bad Things about a group of ppl but bc generally they go out of their way to physically, spiritually, mentally, and emotionally hurt that group of ppl. An asshole could conceivably never speak a word of hate and keep if from friends/family but if they donated money to the KKK that would still make them racist bc the behavior that led to harm was there.

And frankly, the double-speak from antis to not appear incredibly ableist by leaning on the idea that what you think about makes you "who you are" leads them to being incredibly hypocritical instead. You can't in one breath say that a schizophrenic isn't a bad person regardless of what their hallucinations say and then in the next breath say that people who write rape fic are secret rapists. I mean you can say that but then you can't really be surprised when people call that out.

You cannot see inside a person's head (and anyone who claims they can is lying) which is why it is the visible behaviors that make up "who you are" colloquially speaking and not what you think about.

Except obviously there is no such thing and that's not what it's about. Just look at how they reacted to Charlie's similarly definitive indications of her sexuality versus Dean's.

If Dean literally checked a box on a form that said heterosexual in camera frame, they'd write thousands of words about internalized homophobia and repression and how he had to hide his real sexuality because. If he looked into the camera and said he isn't sexually attracted to men, they'd write thousands of words of meta about ebil homophobic network conspiracies and they themselves would point out how unnatural and OOC it was to justify ignoring it. The same way they've ignored Dean saying he doesn't swing that way, put seeking women in a dating profile, was only shown hooking up sexually with women pilot to finale, Jensen explicitly calling him heterosexual, and Kripke talking about his love of writing heterosexual dude relationships.

There's always some reason it doesn't count. They don't just act like Dean should be considered bisexual until proven otherwise because [insert whining and shitty stereotypes here], they insist he must be considered bisexual period - because literally nothing will ever be accepted as proof otherwise.

Outside of these things Francios isn’t the kinkiest person ever. Unlike his 1p. But both of them tend to rely on their skills to romance you. Which tends to work out pretty well. However, for Francios, he has to write down his feelings and passionate words because he’s not the greatest at speaking. His inflection may not be correct or it will be off-putting. So if he’s got something romantic to say to get you into bed expect that it will be written in a letter and you’ll find it on your side of the bed. This will usually kick-start the night's fun.

Heavens this man is nothing but repressed crazy and kinks.

He may not say it out loud but he thinks his form is absolutely glorious and enjoys showcasing it. He will wander around the house naked on purpose as his way of saying I want to bone you right now please. He will drape himself all over you if you’re doing a stationary activity like reading a book or playing a video game. If your moving around the house cleaning or something else then he will linger nearby waiting for you to notice him and his alluring appearance and muscular lumberjack body.

Unlike hos brother he’s gentle with you for the most part. He enjoys to take it slow and allow the budding passion to build and flourish. He takes his time to make sure you’re comfortable and actually enjoying yourself.

The thing is you have to communicate with him about what you like in bed. He’s not the greatest at reading into subtleties when it comes to intimate relationships but he will try for you.

so what you might be missing here is some context with the dynamic. which is c!techno, especially, and c!phil tease c!dream a lot in canon. like, the entire prison podcast is techno teasing dream while trying to redirect him and help him.

like, i vividly remember that point in fandom and it was a lot of people playing off the idea that one of the ways techno and phil would try to help dream is by treating him like they always would which is constant teasing. heck, i made posts about them kinda eye-rolling dream's plans not because they're condescending him, but because they're not entertaining his big bad persona and trying to show him there's a different way in the best way that they know how. which is to treat dream like normal. which is to tease the shit out of him.

which! it's not everyone's cup of tea! it's just not.

but the whole reaction to that post was really messed up so you can understand the defensiveness. especially when the aac au is basically 200k words of 'the syndicate attempts to gently bully dream into understanding there's another way and it's not too late'.

I'm definitively a HUGE angst writer! My longest, most epic fic I've ever written called I will see your nation cast down was one huge angsty rollercoaster ride. I love angst and I've been called ebil by one of my best friends online for the angsty stories I write.

Something genuinely disgusting about framing Benoit as merely a psychopathic murderer of evil and doom when the dude's doctor said he has an Alzheimer 90 yo's brain, in, what, a 40yo body? His finisher was the Flying. Head. Butt. The Flying. Headbutt. Fucking hell.

Think we can blame the lack of any health...anything literally, in the WWE of the time and now instead of writing off this entire person for the one event that's VERY CLEARLY mental damage related and not..I dunno, philosophical or religious or...? Something about trying to put on your creepypasta voice, coming off as a pre-teen with a cheap mic and no talent aiming for clicks, labeling and misinforming something tragic as something painfully simpleminded and easily digestible... eeeeh, think I'ma just...block this loser... Dunno why people like to dehumanize for their YT videos thinking it makes them look cool. It uh. Makes me think less of you, to say as little as my morality allows.
