A small detail I like that seemed to get overlooked by a lot of people: Moon wasn't trying to keep the lights off to hurt Sun or to hurt children, he wanted to keep them off, because in his corrupted state, light was causing him PAIN! Rebooting them into Eclipse didn't JUST help Sun, we helped Moon, too! All THREE are good bots, your honor and I love them and GHDASJGhj
Yes i agree! I think in the main game it was definitely virus related (since the flashlight, the laser gun and fazcam does nothing against him) but in the DLC its gotten to the point where he has become hyper sensitive to light (either due to the virus still scrambling his brains or the damage both have sustained since or a combination of both) and so it causes him a lot of pain when exposed to it.
If we look at his two jumpscares also, the one where neither generators have been turned on he grabs Cassie and flies up in the air with her but doesn't outright display any overly violent behaviour so one could almost assume he does try to take her to naptime and maybe drops her in the process (accidently or intentionally is anyones guess)
But when one generator is turned on he is now in greater pain and aggravated so when Cassie approaches him he is far more unstable and lashes out in anger and frustration, especially when Sun also tries forcing him back in.
I do love to think Moon is not intentionally malicious/evil but with his coding scrambled by the virus and neglect and Sun actively fighting him parred with hyper sensitivity to light and both quite possibly being in a near constant state of pain i don't blame him for being so aggressive.
Rebooting him would have reset the messed up coding and helped bring Moon back to a more stable state and while i doubt it would completely fix them mentally (trauma goes brr) at least he and Sun have been brought some peace at last and made whole again. ;;v;;

I wouldn’t be surprised if she deadlifted DogDay out of there running on pure adrenaline and motherly instincts
P.s. the toys really do need a good place and mother figure since they really never got to experience being kids(I think it got confirmed somewhere idk, where I think of the discord not too sure, that they are in fact still kids)
She did actually!!! 🤣🤣🤣
As soon as she saw the first few little critters crawl outta the walls she instantly snatched him and ran!

The mother's adrenaline really kicked into high gear!

There is no established way that elves dressed.
Don't know why you feel this strongly about it, but as it happens, you are wrong, we know pletora of ways Tolkien's elves dressed.
Tumblr media
Tolkien himself drew a picture of Beleg Strongbow from the first age, and from it we can see that the Elves of Doriath dressed in pointed shoes with what seems to be long white socks, knee length pants, and what looks like a black doublet.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In other words, the male Elves of Doriath dressed in a style clearly inspired by Tudor england, only a bit toned down, and seemingly withouth it's more outlandish/silly features(Codpieces and those frilly necks for example).
We also know that elves seems to have prefered shoes over boots, though some elves(The ones of rivendell at the very least) used boots, though wheter it was the prefered footwear even then is another question.
Tumblr media
Many elves also were clearly described as "Robed" in the sense of wearing actual robes, though what sort of robes and how fanciful they might be is not specified.
Tumblr media
Famously they are also known to use enchanted cloaks, which we can presume looked pretty similar to the movie version.
Overall though, Tolkien made it clear that all of his various people dressed in a variety of styles, depending on their climate and their ancestral heritage. An elf from Doriath would probably not much resemble an elf from Mirkwood for example.
Tumblr media
As for war, there would be a bit more overlap(though some differences as i'll go over below), as all elves dressed the same way for war, given Plate armor is not a thing in the book legendarium.
Namely iron/steel hauberks of interlocked metal rings, aka Mail/Chainmail.
All elves wore these though there is some question wheter they wore a surcoat above it as well.
Tumblr media
It is possible that the elves did wear coats of arms above their mail shirts, but there is nothing in text as far as i can tell that auggests this, and all description of family crests and symbols suggests they carried such on their shields, not their armor.
As for their helmets, we dont know the exact style, but from what i can tell, there doesnt seem to have been any mentions of a full helmets amongst them, so there seems to have been a tradition of helmets with open faces, with fully closed off helmets being more of a dwarf thing.
Finally, there is one bit of Armor speciffically noted to be unique to Earendil, so there is a question wheter this was from his elven side, or his Human heritage, so this style would either have been the style of Gondolin, or the house of hador.
Tumblr media
That of course being what Bilbo describes as "Panoply of ancient kings".
Now a Panoply has several meanings, as it can be used to describe "a full suit of armor", but this is a later meaning, speciffically refering to a suit of full plate armor. The older meaning, and far and away the more obvious one when you take into consideration thst Earendil's son would found numenor, which was inspired by ancienct Greece and Rome, is the the breast armor worn back during antiquity.
Now, as Tolkien made clear there was never any true plate armor in the legendarium, this rules out the early breastplates from the bronze age and the greek golden age, and instead means that Earendil either wore a greek suit of scale armor around his chest(and some form of band armor over his shoulder, be it scales, or boiled leather), or Linothorax, the kind of paper armor that Alexander the great used to conquer the known world.
While the latter is possible, there is no mention of such kind of armor anywhere in the legendarium, but plenty of references to scale armor, so i find the first much more likely.
Which means that the Elves of Gondolin(or if we're being completely literal, only it's kings) may or may not have had breast armor similar to the kind of scale armor sometimes used by the hoplites of ancienct greece.

seeking out advice from those more experienced with deity worship !!!!
I started questioning my identity as an atheist sometime last summer when I was getting more into Greek Mythology/Hellenistic Paganism and the gods who stuck out to me the most were Dionysus and Apollo. throughout the months I've been, of course, learning much more about—well, Dionysus specifically. I haven't been as interested in Apollo anymore as I was before. sometime in the past few months, I've decided I'm a pagan, and that I do want to work with the gods/goddesses. I've also been so very interested and lowkey obsessed with Dionysus and the Maenads. for about a week now, I seriously cannot stop thinking about him. it's bizarre to me as, as I mentioned before, I used to be an atheist (I was one my entire life). every day I just think about him when I wake up and when I go to sleep. I couldn't imagine it being anything else other than a sign to just set up an altar already, but I'm still unsure as I do not want to work with a god before I understand them and comprehend what they are capable of if that makes sense. I've been seeking out media about Dionysus and started reading The Bacchae a few days ago. should I start working with him once I've set up an altar—even if at first small—and once I'm sure I understand him to the best of my abilities? for whatever reason, I'm (maybe foolishly) intimidated by the idea of working with a deity.

People say professional diagnosis is a privilege because of the money it takes to get a diagnosis
it's not like i don't understand why people say it, i fully get the money thing. but that belief can only get you so far when you take into consideration forceful imprisonment in psych wards that often lead to diagnosis if you don't already have one, court mandated therapy and prison diagnosis, school mandated therapy and diagnosis, the fact that many schools/the state pay some or all of the bill for imprisonment in the troubled teen industry, etc etc.
i dont mean to be too harsh but if you genuinely think the only way you get diagnosed with a mental illness is by going to an outpatient therapist/psychiatrist voluntarily with your own money... i'm not sure if you fully grasp the scale of severity at play here or you're really discounting what people have been through because of the psychiatric system.
