TW’s: angst throughout half of the fic, self-doubting

Pairings: one sided! Obanai Iguro x reader, Obanai Iguro x Mitsuri Kanroji, Giyu Tomioka x reader

You knew that it was stupid. To have a crush on the Serpent Hashira of all things. He had the personality of a brick, in the kind words of Muichiro, and was only nice to Mitsuri much to your dismay. But that didn't seem to stop you from trying to get close to him.

You tried to give him bentos, tried to see if he wanted to spar with you, tried to see if he'd like to accompany you to go get some ramen...hell, you even tried to see if he wanted to sit next to you in the pillar meetings. Your tries were all in vain however, as the answer was always the same.

"Mitsuri already gave me one."

"Mitsuri and I are going to spar actually."

"Mitsuri and I already went to get ramen this morning."

"Mitsuri and I are sitting next to each other, as always. Of course you'd forget that."

No matter how many times you heard his answers, they always seemed to hurt. You never gave up though, you always ignored the sympathetic look Shinobu gave you when you went to ask her if you could give Obanai his medicine for his wounds. You ignored the look that Sanemi gave you whenever you chased after Iguro after a meeting. And poor Kyojuro having to grab your wrist and reminding you that Iguro was out with Mitsuri whenever you were searching for him.

It was pathetic to put it bluntly. Chasing after Iguro like he was the only man alive. Uzui himself had even told you it was a lost cause, but you didn't care. Because to you he was one of the prettiest people you've ever seen, his heterochromia eyes and his crow-colored hair that you knew had to be soft was just two of the features that you liked about him. If only they carried over to his personality, though.

You sighed as you shifted on the bench, trying to stop thinking about Iguro. God...why did you have to fall for the guy that already had his eyes set on someone else. And it didn't help that it was Mitsuri either. She was the perfect in your eyes, strong, sweet, beautiful, and social. Obanai must've thought so, too, or else he wouldn't act like a puppy around her.

You knew it wasn't worth it to confess, and if you did it for closure you're positive Obanai would only make you feel worse. He might not look like it at first glance, but his tongue is sharper than his katana and it cuts like it, too. If you were Mitsuri you'd confess faster than your heart could beat. But you weren't and that was the entire problem.

You thought of how everyone was telling you to stop throughout looks and actions the entire time, but you were too lovesick to see it. Kyojuro, Uzui, and Shinobu were persistent on telling you to stop. Muichiro, Samemi, and Gyomei could only sigh as they watched and listen to your conversations...even though you couldn't even call them that. They were just basic greetings and questions, nothing special.

Your brows furrowed in thought when one name didn't come to mind. Giyu didn't ever try to stop you, did he? No..he didn't. In fact, you don't think you've even seen him in the past couple of days. Did he really go away because of how you acted? You wouldn't put it past him, he once left the hashira meeting early because he had to sit next to Sanemi during it.

"Hi."

You snapped out of your thoughts and lifted your head. Speak of the devil, it was Giyu.

"Do you mind if I sit?"

"Oh um, no", you watched as he sat down, holding a bento in his hand. Was he here to comfort you or something?

"You weren't at lunch", Giyu spoke, turning to look at you, "So I brought this for you." He held out the bento for you to take, a pair of chopsticks on top on it, turning his head away shyly.

"Oh, thank you Tomioka-sama", you took the bento and chopsticks from his hands. Opening it you saw that it had your favorite dish in it. How did he know that? You don't remember telling him.

Giyu sat in silence as he watched you eat, scanning your face to see if you liked it. The way you sighed and relaxed seemed that you did. He smiled softly, although it was gone as fast as it had appeared.

"Obanai's an idiot", he spoke, still looking at you.

"What?" you turned to look at him, placing the bento down onto your lap.

"He's an idiot, and has the personality of a brick", Giyu answered, a look of what seemed to be disgust on his face.

Oh, so that's where Muichiro got it from.

"Honestly don't know what Mitsuri sees in him, he's rude to everyone but her", Giyu continued, glancing back at you, "I can't believe he didn't pay any mind to you."

"What do you mean?" You were still confused, you didn't think yourself to be interesting in anyone's eyes.

Giyu sighed before looking at you, a slight pink dusting his cheeks, "You're beautiful and kind...I don't know how anyone couldn't be interested in you."

Your mouth parted into an "o" shape as you stared at Giyu. He wasn't kidding, he thought you were worth someone's time. And did he distance himself from you because he thought that you were interested in Obanai? It would be most likely.

"Tomioka-sama...do you like me?" Although your question was simple, it got Giyu red as he looked away. He nodded his head softly, still avoiding your gaze.

You both stayed silent. You couldn't believe that the stone-faced Water Hashira could get so flustered over someone. You broke the silence.

"How long?"

Giyu turned to look at you slightly, "Four months."

Your eyes widened. Four months? You hadn't even been crushing on Obanai for that long.

"Tomio-Giyu. I think I might like you too."

As bad as it sounded your attention was brought to Giyu first. Then as you adjusted to being the Frost Hashira Obanai came to catch your gaze. Maybe it was something about black-headed people that caught your attention.

"Would you...like to go get some ramen?...To see if you'd like to do it more often?" Giyu asked, his blush fading into a pink.

"I would love to Giyu", you replied with earnest.

Giyu gave a small smile as he got up and reached out his hand, inviting you to take it. And you took it as you both walked, both of your walks a little more energetic.

Muichiro x Reader short series

Mitsuri invites Muichiro to eat with you so you can get to know him better.

Part 2

"I know!" Mitsuri exclaimed enthusiastically. "I'll invite Tokito to eat with us! That way you can get to know him better and spend time with him! I'm the best big sister ever!" Mitsuri sang in her own praise.

"N-n-no no no! I really d-don't want to do that. I w-w-would rather just keep my distance." You pleaded.

"Oh don't worry I'll be there too so there's no reason to be nervous ok?" Mitsuri said bringing out a paper and pen. "I'll write to him now about meeting us for breakfast before we all head out our separate ways!" Mitsuri swiftly wrote a letter then handed it to her crow. You desperately tried to get the letter out of her hand but you were no match for your older sister's strength.

"Get some sleep and don't worry. It's just food ok? We will have fun tomorrow morning!" Mitsuri said, putting her hand on your back to comfort you.

The next morning you dreadfully came out to the common room where you saw Mitsuri and Tokito sitting. You debated on turning around and running back to your room but just then Mitsuri had caught sight of you.

"Goooooood morrrningggg little sister!" She said with the biggest grin you had seen her have since the last time Iguro came over.

"Good m-morning..." You said grumpily sitting down.

Muichiro did not say a word but ate silently.

"Soooooooo how is everyone feeling today?" Mitsuri said, trying to make conversation.

"Fine..." You said.

"Healthy." Muichiro said looking as uninterested as ever. "Did you want to eat together for a reason?" He asked.

"Oh, I just thought it would be fun since we are both Hashira and here at the same time you know? Plus you know my sister is here too."

"Ok." Mucihro said, and turned back to his food. You shot Mitsuri a glance that was supposed to convey how bad of an idea this was and how awful it was going.

"Sooooooo you ran into my sister the other day?" Mitsuri said attempting a conversation again.

"No, she ran into me. You should train her better." He said.

"M-m-mitsuri! I told you this was a m-mistake! H-he is a-aw-awful!" You shouted letting your embarrassment about yesterday's events get the better of you. Muichiro looked between the two sisters in curiosity then went back to his food, deciding he wasn't interested.

"I've finished my meal and have some business to attend to. Goodbye." He said getting up to leave.

"WAIT!" Mitsuri yelled. "OH! I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE! I ASKED YOU HERE BECAUSE MY LITTLE SISTER HAS A CRUSH ON YOU!"

You felt all the blood drain from your face. How could she say that to him?? You didn't know what to do. You felt such an overwhelming amount of emotions. Embarrassment, anger, sadness. It was all too much for you to take and you felt like you might explode. You ran out of the room and hurried back to your designated room, closing the door just in time before tears began to fall.

Why was Muichiro so mean? Why him? Why did you have a crush on such a dreadful person? How could Mitsuri out your feelings like that? You put your face in your hands and continued to weep. When you heard a faint knock on your door.

"G-g-go away Mitsuri. I can't b-be-believe you." You spoke with venom in your voice.

"I'm not Mitsuri and I'm coming in." You heard Muichrio respond and your door opened. Why would he come here? To insult you further perhaps. It's not like he ever had anything nice to say.

"You're crying" He said as he sat down next to you.

"Great o-observation." You replied.

"Are you crying because of what Miss Kanroji said?"

"J-j-just forget what she said, it's not true. I think you're a-awful, cruel, and m-mean." You spat.

"I am?" He asked and seemed to daze off.

"Yes! You insult e-everyone even when they are trying to h-help you and you don't seem to care for a-anything."

Muichiro came back from his daze and looked down at his hands... "Hmm... I think I used to know someone just like that..."

"You must have looked in a m-mi-irror recently." You retorted. Muichiro took no notice of your harsh words.

"Hmm... It's too bad you actually despise me... I was quite flattered to hear you had a crush on me."

You froze... he was flattered?? You couldn't wrap your mind around what he was saying. He was so indifferent to everything could he actually be flattered you had a crush on him?

"I n-never said I despise you..." You softened.

"I am too busy as a Hashira to date or even explore those types of human interactions, but you can write me letters if you wish. I will respond as promptly as I can." He said watching you intently now.

Joining the demon slayer corps so young Muichiro never had interactions with someone that liked him, and he never had chances to explore those types of feelings of his own either. As indifferent as he was on the outside, something sparked a deep memory in him of feeling warm, feelings that must have been from a long time ago. He wondered if this meant something.

"O-ok... I'll write you letters Tokito." You said taken aback by his sudden change in demeanor.

Just then Mitsuri burst into the room.

"OH! I'm so dumb I let a boy in my sister's room alone! Tokito you have to get out right now!" She said red in the face.

"W-W-WHAT DID YOU THINK W-WE WERE DOING??" You said mortified. Muichiro stood up and went to exit the room.

"I'll be looking forward to your letter." He said then vanished.

I’m accustomed to writing the reader as Muichiro’s Tsuguko so this was a bit of a challenge for me. However, I hope you all enjoyed this little series! I did my best~

But muichiro forgets no matter how many attempts reader says that the relationship should be kept a secret and at a celebration or birthday muichiro accidentally blurts out that the reader and him are dating? How would everyone react would they be shocked? Neutral? Anyways my request isn't really that interesting so I'm not expecting you to pick this! But if you do thanks<3

SECRET RELATIONSHIP

summary: how would everyone react to muichiro outing your secret relationship? cw: none just fluff and very slight angst pairing: Muichiro x reader adittional tags: manga spoiler free, muichiro before ssv. word count: 1407

When you and Muichiro started dating, you asked to keep the relationship secret. He didn't go against the idea, it's not like he was planning to tell anyone anyway. You were someone who Muichiro could never forget, however what he did forget is that your relationship was supposed to be a secret. It's not like he did care about who knew or not, it was nobody's business. But what he did care about was you, so he wanted to respect your wishes.

There were times where other people would hit on you, and in that moment Muichiro felt compelled to step in. How can people come up to you and flirt shamelessly like that? Don't they know that you're taken? Oh right.

When it was a demon slayer, he'd glare at them until they took the hint, not saying anything.

If it was a local from a village when you two are on a mission, then he'd tell them bluntly. You don't know them, so who cares. When you think he'd go too far, or risk your relationship being revealed, you'd nudge him with your elbow and glare at him. To that he replies with the softening of his features followed by a sigh.

At some point, when he was alone he started to wonder why the relationship had to be kept a secret. Should he not be able to express his love for you despite the public's opinion? He wanted demon slayers to stay away from you, and most importantly he wanted to be able to show simple gestures such as kissing your cheek. The most he could do was hold your hand in public, since you two were young no one thought much of it. For the first time(or so he thinks), he felt pure love and adoration for someone else. Is it wrong for him to want to express his innocent teenage love?

Of course, he forgot all those thoughts the next day.

There was a small celebration held by Mitsuri for her birthday, everyone she knew was invited. And god, she knew a lot of people. Muichiro would've forgot to come if it wasn't for you dragging him.

At the celebration, you wore such a cute outfit, maybe a little too cute. Muichiro felt an unknown flutter in his stomach, though he struggles to identify what he's feeling, he knows that his stomach feels tingly when he sees you. But this time it was more intense than ever. So, he subconsciously got a little too close to you — reaching to rest his hand around your waist. Which, unfortunately for him, you responded by moving away. He frowned at this.

"Muichiro, you shouldn't get too close, remember? People will find out we're dating." You whispered to him.

"....Sorry. You look pretty." He whispered back, making you blush.

Later, you and Muichiro were sitting at table with the hashira and the kamaboko squad. Everyone was having fun talking to eachother. You'd think that Muichiro would feel overwhelmed by the amount of people and loud noise, but he didn't mind it — considering the fact he finds Rengoku's loudness comforting. He wasn't really paying attention to the conversation, until Mitsuri, the Love Hashira, started to ask questions about you and Muichiro.

Of course, being the Lova pillar, Mitsuri has noticed how close you two were. She was a little dense though, not realizing you two were actually in love, she was just curious about it. The conversation snapped Muichiro back to reality.

"Say, you two are really close!! Are you dating?" Mitsuri asked excitedly. The thought of you and Muichiro dating made her heart burst! Young love, so cute!!

However, you who wanted to keep your relationship a secret, was about to decline that claim until-

"Yes, we are." Muichiro muttered on instinct.

Your eyes widened and a blush crept onto your face. While Mitsuri's smile widened.

"Muichiro!" You scream whispered at him, panicking and looking around not knowing what to do.

The others looked at you in shock, well instead of Inosuke who continued eating despite being confused on why everyone went silent.

"What? Oh, right." Muichiro looked at you confused, until he remembered the he just outed your relationship to everyone.

Needless to say, everyone was shocked that Muichiro, the Hashira who basically fuctioned like an emotionless puppet was dating someone. But his colleagues were happy for him, except for Giyuu and Obanai who didn't seem to have a reaction.

Rengoku was beyond happy, he's always been concerned about the younger pillar and took it upon himself to take care of him. He loudly congratulated you both on your relationship, which of course just outed your whole relationship to everyone at the party. Shinobu kept her soft smile and clapped, thinking it was adorable and also happy for you and the young pillar. Tengen was beyond shocked, and offered to give relationship advice to his colleague. Sanemi, also barely showed a reaction. A little shocked, sure. But he also felt a little concerned. Dating as demon slayers could be really hurtful. If one of you died during a mission, then what? He knew this from experience. He didn't say anything. He tried convincing himself he didn't care, but of course, he was too kind so subconsciously he'd start looking out for the both of you more. Someone who already knew about the relationship was Gyomei, who simply let out a smile and congratulated the two of you then let out a prayer for the safety and happiness to the future of your relationship. Mitsuri, who was showing the most reaction, was squirming and jumping the whole time, as if she had been proposed to.

Someone who didn't react so positively though was Zenitsu, his eyes were filled with scorn, almost shedding tears of jealousy towards the newly outted couple. How can someone like Muichiro score before him??? He let his jealousy be known; Tanjiro who was sitting next to him had to knock him out to not make the two of you uncomfortable. Speaking of Tanjiro, he felt relieved about Muichiro finding someone he loved. Yes, he'd definitely buy you and Muichiro a congratulation gift.

If you were to be overwhelmed by everyone's reaction, Muichiro would've taken notice of this and gladly take your hand then take you away to a quieter place. Though the people at the table would be confused seeing Muichiro drag you away.

As for the aftermath, Muichiro was so used to not showing any affection in public that he forgot that your relationship is NOT secret anymore... But, he definitely felt more comfortable to be able to be affectionate towards you.

Genya Shinazugawa

Once he saved you he decided to take you to a nearby Healing Place for demon slayers [Forgot what they're called lmao]

But he'd have you stay with him in the same room, the doctors bringing Genya some child close and toys

Specifically a little Duckling Plushie for you

Once he and you are all healed, he tried to take you back to the village he thought you were from

But once he got there, and asked around, he figured out that you didn't live there

Or you didn't have any family that lived there

So deciding to take you to the orphanage, Genya began to make his way toward it

But the thing was

Once he got there

He wasn't able to get you off of his leg

Resulting in him just taking you back to the compound, specifically the Butterfly Estate so he could get some help

And on the way back, he had noticed you clinging to him and trying to copy his movements

It warmed his heart so much-

Genya let out a sigh, staring down at your pouting form. "Y/n, I have to go on this mission."

"NO!"

Pinching the bridge of his nose, he muttered something under his breath. Reaching down, he grabbed the back of your shirt and tried to pry you off of his leg.

Keyword tried.

"Y/n I'm going to be late!"

"I. Don't. Care!"

Tears welled up in your eyes as you clung to his leg tighter.

"I want Papa to stay with me!"

It got quiet as you said that, Genya tensing up. Looking up at him cautiously, you saw a bright blush on his face as steam came out of his ears—his eyes swirled as he slumped sideways.

"KYAAAAAA—PAPAS TURNED PINK!!"

Now when Sanemi found out

Oh boy

He was so confused for a second like

"Did I miss something?" "When did you get a girlfriend-" "Was it a one-time thing?" "What the fuck iS HAPPENING-"

After he got his shit together [and Genya explained] he tck-ed and walked away

You just stared confused for a second before asking

"Whos he? He doesn't seem very nice"

Genya just stayed quiet and picked you up, walking away

Rengoku and Mitsuri love you to bits

When they first met you Mitsuri yelled about how cute you are and smuggled you with so much love [poor Genya was shocked]

While Rengoku questioned Genya on some things, making him answer him shyly [sweet baby :( <3]

Spoiling you with food and toys non-stop

Genya has to stop them, but it fails cause his voice is so small and scared :(

He's terrified and confused cause why are the hashira talking to him-

But then Mitsuri told him to come over for dinner and he just

Genya.ex has stopped working

Poor baby is overwhelmed with anxiety and shit

But he goes anyways cause you looked so happy :(

"Thank you again for inviting us over Kanroji-Sama" Genya said quietly, not looking the pillar in the eyes.

"Of course! You and Y/n are welcome anytime!" Mitsuri responded, setting another plate of food on the table.

She had made a whole buffet for dinner, obviously really excited to have you and Genay over. It looked really good.

"Thank you Ms. 'Anroji!" Pronouncing her last name was a bit hard for you. But it always brought a huge smile to her face.

"KYAAA YOU'RE SO CUTEEEE~!!"

Now when Genya has free time, he always hangs out with you

Taking you shopping, to get food, teaching you how to swim, etc.

It doesn't matter where you go or what you two do, he just loves hanging out with you

However, you won't go anywhere with Mr. Fluff, the duck you got when he first saved you

It goes everywhere with you and it is absolutely adorable

It has tea parties with you, where Genya is also attending [where you do his makeup and hair]

Painting sessions with you, where Genya has to wash Mr. Fluff the Duck after [He also hangs up the paintings in the house]

"PAPA!"

Jumping up from the couch, Genya rushed towards your room—gun in hand. Had something happen to you? Why did you yell? Fear was in your voice when you yelled-What happened?

Bursting into your room, finger on tricker he yelled. "What happened?! Are you ok?!"

The room was quiet, the only thing heard was your sniffles.

"Mr. Fluff the Duck got paint on him" You whimpered.

Genya choked on his air, falling to his side comedically.

She found you passed out on your kitchen floor

She didn't know why until a few days later

Her classmates saw the video and immediately showed her

They thought it was just some drunk dude and not her father

She's not mad just disappointed

She watched you chug an inhuman amount of beer then have a contest with another drunk to see who could (seemingly) dance better, sing, you even jumped on a pool table

the table didn't break but it sure did leave you sore in the morning

"Dad, are you serious?" She approached you with an unusual frown.

"What'd I do."

"What didn't you do. There is a video of you drunk out of your mind going around." She angrily pulled out her phone and showed you. She didn't give you time to speak before she went off again.

"I wouldn't be mad if I didn't see you drink so much. You drank like it was your last day on earth. You not as young as you think you are, you need to watch what you do." She started to sound worried and it made you feel bad.

"I'm sorry Shinobu. I won't happen again."

Sanemi

Sanemi was waiting for his students to arrive when he saw the video

He didn't know how to react

The who he called dad was dancing half naked to a crowd of people cheering him on

You were singing and everything

The only thing you had on were pants and socks

Everything else was nowhere to be seen

He was on his break when realized he forgot his lunch and like a good dad you brought it for him

He wasn't going to say anything but he just had to tell you

You were about to leave when he stopped you by grabbing your arm.

"Wait umm... Did you go out recently?" He asked nervously, not making eye contact.

"Yeah. Why did something happen?"

"You could say that." He showed you the video.

"I-i don't remember any of that." You swore as you cringed at your attempt at singing.

After the video stopped playing the both of you sat in silence. It was awkward.

Tengen

He thinks it hilarious

He was in the middle of making his explosive arts when he got a message from Makio saying "Get your dad before he hurts himself"

He had a good laugh watching you dance like there was no tomorrow

You had a chugging contest, played strip poker, made out with men and women

then blacked out

He couldn't be mad when you looked so happy

When he got home, you were being lectured by all three of his wives

"What would possess you to be so reckless? You could've gotten hurt." Makio says with Suma holding her back. You looked like a deer caught in headlights.

"But I'm perfectly fine and besides I don't even remember." You tried to ease her anger but it didn't work. She was about to explode when tengen helped Suma and Hina hold her.

"Whoa Whoa what's going on?"

"You saw the video. You saw this idiot."

"I think it was flashy. He was having fun and living his life to the fullest so I see no problem with him drinking every once in a while... With that being said you're not drinking without me there ever again."

He took you to the club and expected you to drink a little and go home

When things got wild he didn't have a heart to stop you

If things did get too out of hand he would've got you

He saved one as his home screen

"Who knew an old guy like you could party that hard." Gojo casually dissed you as he scrolled through his phone.

You ignored him thinking he was just pulling your leg.

"I've never seen you drunk before."

You ignored him again.

"You even flirted with a woman. You promised you take her home, she was into you too."

You were going to ignore him again but he played a video of you talking to the woman.

You couldn't help but check it out.

You could barely recognize yourself and Gojo was eating it up.

Kyojuro

It was just another day of training together

The flame hashira insisted it be you that trains with him, because he liked how you never held back on your hits

There were other reasons he never told you, of course, like how you bandaged him carefully after or how much he loved seeing you concentrated on only him

But during today's training, when he managed to trip you, and you fell right into his arms?

How your hand shakily clung to his chest- how you panted for a breath of air

His cheeks ran red, frozen in that position while he drank it up

" Kyojuro? "

" Yes! "

" Can you...let go? "

" I don't see why not! "

You couldn't help but laugh at his, as usual, loud and proud remarks

Kyojuro, however, found himself having to keep more space between you both during training just to keep blood from flowing too far down

Mitsuri

It mixed in with her usual thoughts

" Y/n looks so beautiful today! I wonder if she'd let me- "

Shinobu, to whom she had just been talking to, let out a small 'oh?'

" Let you...? "

Mitsuri ended up hiding behind her hands and running off, stammering apologies to her friend

Yet no matter how hard she blushed, she couldn't keep the idea of touching you out of her head

From now on, she can't help but let her touch linger when you make contact

She hopes you don't notice because she really can't stop herself

Always getting flustered even as you make contact with others, pretending it was her instead

But she could never ask you for anything like that, so instead, she lets her cheeks go rosy and falls deeper in love

Obanai, on the outside, treated you like he did any other

Even if he felt his heart pound being near you or felt the need to listen to you far more carefully, he wouldn't allow a single soul to even GUESS his feelings

But Kaburamaru was far less caring than Obanai

The snake would always flick its tongue at you, take any chance it could to slither into your arms for some pets

One time you came running to Obanai with the white serpent wrapped around your wrists, begging Obanai to get the snake to let go so you could continue to train

It took some time, but he managed to convince it to let go, and you were back on your way

But Obanai didn't forget the scene, seeing you all trapped and begging out his name...

Perhaps he should invest in some rope

Sanemi

He's always silent around you, which others consider weird because usually he's always got something to complain about

You figured he just REALLY didn't like you or didn't care about you

Really, Sanemi was just staring and taking in everything you did like it was a novelty

On a particularly windy day and totally not the Wind hashira's doing, your skirt was blown up just a little too high as he so happened to be walking by

He had to bite his tongue and forcibly turn his head as his eyes chased your thighs, wishing it'd happen again

" God, what the hell am I doing. "

You could hear him from where you were, yelling at himself, and decided to run off before he felt the need to be rude to you too

He kept cussing himself out the whole way back to the mansion

Shinobu

You were such a rowdy one, always taking hits and damage in place of your friends

If Shinobu didn't know any better, she'd think you did it all on purpose to end up right back in her care

While she didn't like how you threw yourself in the way of danger all the time, she loved being the one to care for you

You may be rowdy out in battle, but you were a calm sweetheart to her, even offering to help as you went through rehabilitation

Some of her medicine had side effects, such as nightmares, so she got used to seeing you cuddled up to a pillow when checking up on you in the morning

" Shinobu? Is that you...? "

You were talking in your sleep, but your hand reached out for hers, to which she complied

The slight rasp in your voice was hypnotizing; she had to keep from imagining your face was buried into her instead

So long as you are on that medicine, she seems a lot more flustered around you now

can u do the hashira with a s/o who can see in the dark, like they come home from a mission and the house is pitch black dark, but when they turn on the lights they see you washing dishes or sum shit

Like he gets home from a mission, and he sees the lights off, so he thought you went to sleep. Until he heard something he got his sword out "Show yourself demon!!!!!" he yelled. You turned around and said, "oh welcome back dear!!" woah. that was a pretty good impression of y/n.. he turned the light on to see it was you. You ran up to him and hugged him like you always did after he got back from a mission. "Oh, did I not tell you?? I can see in the dark" He doesn't really believe you- he thinks you were pranking him or something

Mitsuri

She thinks your so cool- Like you were cool before but your like extra cool now

She had just gotten back from a mission it wasn't a very hard mission but she was still tired and wanted to cuddle with her s/o she got home the lights where off so she turned them on to see you sitting in the living room reading? "darling how can you see that book??" "oh I can see in the dark" she doesn't really pay much attention to it- she literally just wants to go to sleep

Tengen

How flashy of you!! he thinks your even more flamboyant than before!!

Makio, Suma and Hinatsuru were already asleep and here you were in the kitchen making breakfast for everyone. It was around 4 am and you couldn't sleep so you just decided to get up Tengen was still out on his mission. He left late last night so he'd probably be home soon.

Just as you finished that thought he opened the door. And turned the lights on. You kinda scared him- he literally screamed like a little girl

He doesn't even ask any questions he's just like "HOW FLAMBOYANT OF YOU MY LOVE YOU'RE COOKING IN THE DARK!!!!"

Giyuu

ugh he's so pretty- anyways he's really impressed. Kinda skeptical but

You two were on a mission with each other a demon had broken into someone's house it was in the basement and it was pitch black. Giyuu couldn't see anything. which is why he was so surprised when he heard you and the demon fighting and the demon eventually falling. "How did yo-" "I can see in the dark come on let's go make sure everyone is alright" you gently grabbed his hand and led him up the stairs.

Shinobu

She's very interested in you. Is this a breathing technique? how can you do this?

You were in the kitchen doing the dishes when you heard the door open. Shinobu turned the lights on "darling? why are you washing dishes in the dark?" "oh I can see better in the dark love!! don't worry!!" She asks to examine you- she doesn't do anything without your permission ofc tho :)

Obanai

It makes him feel better if you're a demon slayer. He's constantly worried about you but this gives him some sort of comfort he doesn't know why it just does.

The master sent you on a mission by yourself. Obanai knew you were strong, but he was still worried. He normally went on missions with you but how is he supposed to check on you now?? Especially cause the demon that you were supposed to slay lived in this place that was covered in trees, so it was always dark and full of shade. "What if a demon sneaks up on you and you don't see it!!!" He complains. "I can see in the dark you know..." "still..."

He was secretly relieved.

Rengoku

he probably thinks your so amazing "OH MY GOD MY S/O IS A SUPERHERO" -Rengoku probably

He was coming home from the Mugen train (he survived stfu) He was tired and wanted to see you again more than anything. Genya has grown a bit from his shyness of girls. He can speak to them now. It's just when they like hug him or touch him he gets a little nervous.

In this AU Genya is 20, Sanemi is 24 and you are 21 or 22 which ever one you prefer.

It was the week of our anniversary, I had already prepared the charade of gifts hidden inside a spare closet in our home.

Recently, Sanemi had been acting really off, distant. Well maybe not so recently.. it had been going on for weeks now! Maybe it was a mission that he had gone through that pissed him off.. but his last mission was a long time ago and he asked for a break to train his new tsugoku.. I met her, she seemed really nice! We had even planned a time to go out for a girls day, she had me invite Mitsuri and Shinobu, though.. Don't get me wrong I love them! But I know Shinobu wants to know who the girl is at first, Mitsuri too.

I carried the golden band of jewelry I bought Sanemi, I had been away on many missions so I could save up for this gift, it was pure gold and polished to perfection I knew it had caught his eye while we were out on mission one time. We had walked passed the store with the band of jewelry shining brightly in the side of there window.

His eyes beamed when he looked at it. I wondered why, but I got it regardless.

As I slide open the door to our home I saw Sanemi sitting quietly on a mat near the porch outside, I smiled. I'm finally home,

"I'm home Nemi!" I spoke but no reply.. did he not hear me?

I ignored it and went to our room and hid the last part of his gift inside the closet, now finally his present was fulfilled.. I walked back out.

"Sanemi?" No response. I started to get a bit angry.

I walked closer "Sanemi can you hea-"

"Where have you been." I paused at his harsh voice but answered anyway,

"Out. I've been out on missions you know this.."

He grit his teeth and stood up, his aura was dark.. I couldn't read it like I normally could.. What's wrong with him? I was normally used to his rudeness but it was different this time, something was wrong.

"Your always out, you have been for the past weeks! Why are you distancing yourself, What the hell did I do?" He started to yell, as did I.

"You didn't do anything, What are you on about this time.. I'm not trying to distance myself!"

As the yelling went on I could see what he was getting at, see. Sanemi had attachment issues all though he would never ever say it aloud he has problems when he gets closer with people he grows attached, said me.

He thought I was cheating on him..

"Quit the corps." I paused, excuse me?

"No. I don't get why your getting like this but I am not quitting the corps. Sanemi you should trust me, were dating after all?"

"Exactly, were dating! That doesn't mean anything! You could still use your place of work as an excuse to go on ahead and cheat on me! That's why you should quit! You know I can support both of us.."

I can't believe he would say that, discarding our relationship as it was nothing! Even if I was Cheating I could still cheat with or without work so what was the point! To keep me safe? I can handle myself, I'm not weak.

"I'm not quitting, my decision is final! Y'know what I'm going out I need air," I paused "away from you." I started to walk away from him, I could hear his heavy breathing even as I was walking away. He turned around and sat back down, I could tell he was annoyed.

I walked down the trail, looking up into the dark night. The stars were out and it was a beautiful full moon. Usually you couldn't see this from where Sanemi and me lived because of all the lights surrounding our home..

Sanemi.

I thought, maybe I should go back now. I think he just needed some time? I started to get a bad feeling pooling in my stomach, he still probably doesn't want to talk when we get back.

I thought back to the argument, that was the most we interacted in months.. he's been so distance, why the sudden change? The more I got consumed in my thoughts, the more I forgot about the trail Infront of me, the more I forgot about my surroundings.

Before I knew it I had collided right into someone. I almost fell to the ground before I felt there hands sturdy me. I shook my head and looked at the face that stared back into mine, great.. His brother. Genya's face dusted pink, he looked shock to see me out here this late. He placed his hands off of me and spoke,

"Y/n why are you out here so late? Is Nemi here too?" Genya looked around, but no sight of Sanemi.

"you shouldn't be out here. It's late and you don't even have your sword.." Genya stared at my waistband, noting I wasn't dressed in my uniform which explains that I didn't come from work.

Genya was roughly taller than his brother, he had scars as well maybe not as many as Sanemi but they still adorned his body. His hair was in a mohawk and was a dark jet black.

Completely opposite from Sanemi. Although their eyes were the same saying it was inevitable that they were brothers. Both had rough exteriors.

I dusted myself off, "Sorry for bumping into ya Gen. I wasn't watching where I was going. But I'm okay, no need to worry." I smiled slightly.

"Okay.. uhm, where's Sanemi shouldn't he be with you?"

Oh.. I looked up at him and rubbed my neck sheepishly. Should I tell him about the fight? I know he was his brother but Sanemi barely ever talked to him.. Whatever.

"Oh, uhm we had gotten into a fight.. I just needed some fresh air."

Genya frowned at that. He sighed, "I'm sorry about that.. is there anything I can do?" No there wasn't, it was already said and done..

"Not really.." I paused "But it's fine it was just a little fight, he'll get over it." Is what I told him. I was telling it to myself too. It didn't seem 'little'.

This was probably the longest conversation I've ever had with Genya.. We've never really talked that much, only a couple "Hello"(s) or "How was your day?"

Genya stood there but then he perked his head up at an idea.

"It's impolite to leave you here out in the dark.." he cleared his throat, "So how about I walked you home?.. I mean Nemi probably wouldn't like it if I left you here.." Genya rambled on trying to justify his statement to walk me home, I let out a chuckle. Genya paused.

"Wait, are you laughing at me?" He blushed embarrassed..

I smiled, "Genya, it would be my honor for you to walk me home.." I teased.

"oh shut up." Genya shoed me away but I just kept teasing him. Eventually I stopped and we started to walk to my place talking along the way. We both rambled and listened. It was actually an eventful day.. or night. Genya turned out to be a lot nicer than I expected him to be. Being born from a naturally hot headed family and all.

We made it too my door, I looked back at Genya.. it was super late. I knew Sanemi wouldn't like Genya here but I don't want him to be walking back this late.

"Hey, how about you spend the night?.. We have a guest room!" Genya's eyes widened,

"are you sure it wouldn't cause any problems?.. I wouldn't want to cause anything between you and my brother."

I smiled, "Of course not. I'm sure Sanemi wouldn't mind." Genya nodded at that and we entered my house.

It was dark inside, and absolutely silent, expect for the music booming from Sanemi and mines room. What was he on about? Maybe he's just taking a shower he usually booms music during that.

"Hey, I'm gonna go see Sanemi and talk it out.. uhm the guest room is that way" I pointed towards the hallway besides our kitchen. Genya nodded.

"let me know if you need anything."

Genya nodded, "Goodnight, y/n"

I smiled, "Goodnight, Gen."

I walked towards our room the music growing louder and louder, then I started to hear werid noises it sounded like someone was struggling.. What the hell? Is Sanemi ok?! I burst into the room only too see a scene that made me freeze.. it all happened so fast..

Sanemi was on top of his Tsugoku, kissing her I watched at his tongue explored her mouth as he humped himself against her.. she wrapped her arms around his neck, kissing him back like I used too..

"What.. what the Fuck?" My fists grew into balls.

Sanemi freezes and he quickly pushes himself off his Tsugoku. He wipes his mouth that was eagerly stained with lipstick. His Tsugoku layed against the wall panting.. he surely took her breath away.. jealously bubbled inside me, is this why he had been distancing himself? Of course it was.. I was just to stupid to even notice anything.

"Babe.. it's not what-" my eyes well up, how could he do this. He swore he would never become like his old man, getting into fights with me, cheating on his partner.

His Tsugoku licks her lips, her face red with blush. I can feel my stomach practically rolling at the scene unfolding before me.

"I was only gone for a few hours!! And I see you all pent up against your Tsugoku! God knows what the hell her name is?! What is wrong with you!" I screamed at him.

"Rin." His Tsugoku spoke.. "my name is Rin." That's right, I forgot her name was Rin, Rin Gamaki. But I don't even give a fuck. I could care less.

I turned to her, "I could care less what your fucking name is. You knew, but you still went for my boyfriend like he was yours all along. Your just another tramp. Shinobu was right -"

"Don't. Don't fucking pull that shit." Sanemi says sternly. His gaze fixated on me, his face was hard and gave me a look of hatred.

"Couldn't you have taken a fucking hint. I didn't need you. I don't fucking need you. I haven't been talking to you, to let you down slowly.. but it seems your still so fucking oblivious to even notice!"

I shouted back at him, he didn't just stop there and before I knew it I was crying, a lot. Sanemi always made this stupid promise to never hurt me. Some empty oath that was to him. It didn't mean anything anymore.

Sanemi continued to spew insults like it was just words bouncing off his tongue, it wasn't even like he knew me. Like I was just a stranger to him.

I felt someone step Infront of me, there aura felt warm, inviting.. I looked up to see Genya. His hand faltered Infront of me, he stood in a protective stance. Sanemi suddenly went quiet..

"That's enough.." Genya paused.. "You don't speak to her like that, like she was nothing too you. That's horrible and honestly your acting just like..-" Genya stopped himself from going any further.

"just like what?" Sanemi sounded weak just for a second. He knew what Genya ment. As did I.

Genya didn't let the words fall from his tongue like I had, 'our father' is what he was thinking, what we were all thinking. He spoke again,

"Who even are you. The Sanemi I knew wouldn't do this shit. The Sanemi I knew swore he wouldn't even think of this."

"Don't act like you Fucking know me. You were barely even there. Where did you even come from, Or did y/n invite you in because she was bored of me too?"

That's when I spoke up too,

"you wanna know where I've fucking been. I'll tell you where I've fucking been." I walked over to the spare closet in our bedroom and slammed it open and with one swift move I used my arm and slid all the gifts out. Sanemi watched,

"I've been out working. Working so we could have a good anniversary. Working so you could have some new things because you always are breaking them while fighting. Or fucking because obviously that's why you've been gone. Or what your doing while I'm gone."

Sanemi stood in place, his eyes landed on the Golden band on the ground. The band that reminded him of his mother's golden earrings. His lip trembled. That jewelry was the exact brand his mother used as well..

Genya's face showed a feeling of sympathy. He knew I was working hard, I told him on the way here.

Genya frowned and walked towards me pulling me away from the scene, I walked solemnly next to him, tears still flowing from my eyes.

As I walked away I saw Sanemi's act falter staring at the gifts on the ground. It means nothing now, so why does he even care their meaningless if the person who gave them to you doesn't mean anything to you. I'm just another woman after all. That's all I meant to him.

A few months later.. (5 months)

I had started to live with Genya, he didn't mind at all, at least that's what he told me. I hope he doesn't mind. I take care of the place though, I clean, cook and take care of everything. I might as well show my gratitude..

But everything felt so, werid. He was Sanemi's brother after all.. the man whom cheated on me. Genya said that he didn't care if he was related to him I still deserved someone's help, whether that be him or someone else.

I actually haven't seen Genya talk to Sanemi at all. I have been ignoring him since the incident and from what I've heard, he's falling apart.. Good. I felt bad of course but a little part of me knew he deserved it. He was falling behind in work and his Tsugoku was still as needy as ever. God, I hate her so much she's such a pain in my ass.

I mean you would think that she would at least be a decent person and leave you alone. But no, she was always bitter and acted like she was better because Sanemi chose her. I didn't care, it's what I'll always tell myself. It's been months since then, I wanted to be over it. But no matter how hard I try I always circle back to the same memory.. At least Genya was there, he always was..

Everytime I came home sad or upset he'll somehow always be there, even when he was on missions! I would get letters,

"Are you alright Y/n?"

"Just checking in"

"I'll be home soon don't worry."

He always looked out for me since then, he was a very sweet man. Opposite from his brother, he hasn't touched a girl in his life, it was a bit comical but I wouldn't mind being that first girl for him.

Maybe 3 months after that incident.. I started to have feelings for him, he was always there.. like I said. He was a sweet person after all. I wished he had feelings for me but I just have never seen it, it hurt. But I think I could live with being just friends with him, it was enough.

Currently, I had just gotten home from a mission. Genya and I were sending letter's back and forth no wonder this mission took forever I was just so distracted. My face heated up thinking about him. God what kind of person am I falling for my ex boyfriends brother.. is that bad? It sounds bad.

I sighed, walking through the door I quickly take my shoes off. I'm so tired, and dirty.. I definitely need a bath.. I ran my hands through my hair,

"Y/n? Your home?" I heard that sweet voice I quickly walked in the direction of it.

"Genya?.. You're off your mission too? I thought you said in your letter that it would take a few more days.."

Genya smiled, noting that I had remembered that detail.

"Ah, well my mission came to an end quickly actually.. I thought it would take longer.. that demon was rather hard to catch." He chuckled lightly.

I smiled and mended my hands together in front of me, "Well I'm glad it's over. I heard it was a higher ranked mission. I was a bit worried.. Are you hurt at all?"

He perked his head up at that and shook his head, "No, just a little bit on my shoulder.. I kinda got thrown into a wall.." he spoke a bit embarrassed.

I laughed, "well.. I'm glad your alright hm?"

"Yea!.."

Slience lingered a bit, of course it wasn't that awkward type of slience it was that type that was oddly comforting in a way.. I started to walk to the bedroom when I heard his voice.

"And what about you?" He paused. "Are you hurt?.." I watched as his hand rubbed his neck nervously.

I smiled again, "I'm alright, thanks for asking Gen." I walked into the bedroom and shut the door behind me.

I changed into more comfortable clothes, I took a deep breath. I am so glad to be out of those dirty clothes. I felt so gross.. that battle practically drenched me in sweat. I'm glad that bath was enjoyable at least..

I got ready to approach the door and open it but I stopped when I heard someone humming.. Genya was still up? I thought he would be asleep by now.. He's always up early in the morning..

I smiled faintly when I heard the melody he was humming. I hummed a bit too, just in a different room.. it was the melody I used to always hum when I was concentrated or doing something.. I can't believe he memorized it.. I let out a quiet laugh. Before I walked out I thought for a few minutes.. during these passed months he was always so sweet to me unlike his brother and he never once tried to start a fight with me before talking it out.. Why do things have to be so one sided? Maybe he did like me and I was just oblivious.. I blushed lightly and shook my head trying to rid of those thoughts and act naturally.

I walked out of the room and saw Genya sitting in the outside porch.. he was gazing up at the night sky.. looking at the stars..

It was pretty outside.. he looked so lost in thought that he didn't even realize I sat next to him.. The sky was faded into dark purple and blue hues as the stars and the crescent moon was the only source of light..

"Whatcha thinking about?"

Genya snapped out of thought as he heard me speak..

"Oh! Nothing.. just things.."

"That was very descriptive.." I joked lightly.

He let out a laugh and smiled, "Do you remember when we first met?" There was a period of silence before I spoke,

"Yes. It was a night just like this wasn't it? Now that I'm thinking about it.. a lot of the days or nights I've talked to you it always looked the same.." I paused "I guess things never change."

"Yea.." he seemed nervous.. he fumbled with his hands as he thought about what to say next..

"I have to tell you something Y/n.." he sighed softly as he built up some courage.. He sat up and looked at me his eyes showing a hint of bravery, just as he opened his mouth to speak, we heard banging on the door.

I jumped at the sound, it was 11PM at night who could possibly be banging on the door at this time of night.. Genya was startled too,

"Hold on let me get that.." Genya gets up and approached the door. Just as he was about to open it I heard the voice that I never wanted to really hear ever again..

"Genya?.. Can we talk please..?" It was a gruffy, deep voice that belonged to Sanemi.. Never in a thousand years would I believe that Sanemi came to Genya for help..

Genya froze at that voice, it seems he didn't think that Sanemi would talk to him ever again either.. he looked back at me and I quickly went into another room.. Nobody knew that I lived with Genya, especially Sanemi because we didn't know what reaction we would get out of him.. I heard the door open.. I leaned against the closed door of the room I was in silently listening in.

"Nemi? What are you doing here?.." Genya asked. I could tell from his tone that he was nervous..

"Didn't you hear what I said outside the door? I just want to talk.." he sighed.

"Right.." there was a pause.. "about what?.."

I could almost sense the frown that was inflicted upon Sanemi's face. I heard another deep exhale,

"Shit, I don't know what's wrong for wanting to talk to someone. I can't talk to Rin because it's like she doesn't give a shit about my problems."

Another pause of slience occured..

"and whose fault is that.. you did leave Y/n for her y'know.." Genya said barely above a whisper..

"I know! I know that.. Listen I didn't come here to hear your bitch attitude, I came here because your one of the only people that knows what happened that day and y/n won't talk to me.."

Oh I wonder why, asshole. I rolled my eyes.

"Well you did cheat on her.. if someone cheated on me I wouldn't want to talk to them either.. you need to take in her point of view too."

I heard rough steps roam throughout the home,

"weren't you going to marry her or something? What even happened to that.."

I looked down at the ground a bit in shock and sadness.. he was going to marry me? My fists clenched together..

"it's not like it even fucking matters now.. she hates me"

"No shit." Genya joked with some bitterness in his tone. I could tell he was still mad at Sanemi for doing such a thing in the first place.

Suddenly I felt the atmosphere change.. and the tension become almost suffocating.. I could hear clattering in the kitchen almost in a hurry,

"Wait!" Genya yelled.

I heard stomps collect to the porch and that's when I realized the most vital thing that I left out there.

My blade. My nichirin blade.. That's what Genya yelled about.. he yelled so he wouldn't see it.. but he did.

Slience in the air lingered like a band of tension waiting to snap. Until it did,

"What the fuck is this?" Sanemi paused, "This is Y/n's blade. Is.. is she here right now?"

Genya didn't speak I just heard his breathing..

"Listen she just needed somewhere to stay and-" Genya tried to finish before Sanemi interrupted him..

"She has money you idiot! Is this what she wanted? To stay with my brother so she could get back at me?" His tone was aggressive and rough

"No, no you have it all wrong-"

"I don't want to fucking hear it where is she?"

I stayed quiet in the bedroom.. I didn't want their relationship ruined more than it already has been.. it meant a lot to Genya to have his brother back.. sure he cared for me but I think his family matters more he shouldn't throw it all away for me.

I grabbed my things from the drawers and closet.. stuffing them into one big duffle bag that was under I heard footsteps storming towards this room.. I tried to pack faster that was until the door barged open.. hoping it was Genya I turned around..

But if course it was Sanemi.. he stared at me. Frozen in place, looking at the things I had stuffed in a duffle bag.. my messy attire consisting of the pajamas I usually only wore around Sanemi but now I was wearing around Genya..

I stared back at him, I stared at the vein that was twisting out of his forehead.. I stared at the veins trailing up his neck.. his hand fell from the door as he matched towards me.. Genya came in the room,

"Nemi Listen!" Genya yelled. But it was too late Sanemi was staring directly in my eyes our noses almost touching.. his eyes wider than before twitching with blind rage..

His voice was cold and stern, it felt like I was being filled with anxiety..

"Is this what you wanted? To make me mad? To get with my brother so you can have your revenge or whatever the hell you wanted from him or me?" I backed up and shook my head.

"You have it all wrong, Genya and I are just-"

"Friends? Yea okay like I'll believe that shit. Genya done ratted you out as soon as I saw your blade.."

Genya took his shoulder trying to get him to back away from me, Sanemi pushed him away into a nearby wall..

"Get off me. This is between me and her you have no right in this." Sanemi stared back at Genya..

Genya clutched his fists and looked at Sanemi back,

"I think I have a right to know what's gonna happen. I was there the night you cheated on her and I've been with her ever since."

Sanemi's eyes widened and he quickly turned towards Genya,

"You what? Has she been living with you this entire time?!" Sanemi Yelled. Genya looked at me and I nodded I took my chance and grabbed my things quickly making my way to the living room until Sanemi left Genya and stepped in front of me as soon as I made it close to the porch.

"Sanemi we have been broken up for months why do you still care?" I asked.. it's true why did he still care? Even if he thinks he still loves me I don't think I love him. Not anymore.. him coming after me like this was not like him at all.. I thought he was over this.

Genya walked out to the two of us, rubbing his shoulder tenderly I guess Sanemi pushed him into the wall pretty hard..

"She's Right. Why do you still want her? You have Rin.." Genya muttered..

"Because I regret what I did. Jesus fucking Christ I was sorry okay? I didn't realize what I had lost before I had lost it." Sanemi's voice shook as he stepped back.. He sighed and rubbed his face.

"But you getting with Genya was a whole different level of selfishness.. I know I'm a dick. But at least I wouldn't consider doing that."

"oh but it's fine to consider cheating on me after one argument right?" I talked back.

"Because like that wasn't selfish." Sanemi stared at me and furrowed his brow.

"Shut your damn mouth."

Genya walked next to me to ask if I was alright but Sanemi got even more furious after that,

"So your gonna choose her? Over your own fucking blood?" Sanemi clutched his fists..

Slience lingered.. Genya ignored him trying to focus on me.. I could tell it hurt him what Sanemi said.. He froze up for a second before trying to aid to me..

I looked at Sanemi,

"Listen leave Genya out of this you said he shouldn't be in an-" I was cut off by Sanemi throwing a vase at the wall.. I saw it shatter against the wall and shards fly everywhere.. my body covered Genya's and I had a large shard of glass slide against my skin.. cutting it open, blood leaked from my wound.

Genya's eyes widened.. and Sanemi stayed in place shocked that he hurt me.

I could see the anger in his eyes quickly dial down but he still said nothing...

Genya looked over at him, "Get out." Sanemi looked at Genya and spoke, "I didn't mean to I thought-"

"Get out right now Sanemi." Sanemi just looked down disappointed in himself and barged out the door slamming it behind him.

Genya quickly put his attention towards me.. "Fuck.. are you okay Y/n?" He stared at the wound his face twisting a bit in discomfort.

I winced feeling the sharp sting of the cut and Genya sighed he took my hand, blushing lightly to himself,

"Come with me I'll help.." I nodded also blushing a bit too..

Genya brought me to his bathroom making me sit in the edge of the toilet.. he quickly grabbed first aid and disinfectant..

"Hey, this is gonna sting a bit but I need to clean it.." Genya looked at me reassuringly "it'll be over in a second" he took a rag and gently wiped the blood that seeped from my cut and bit my lip..

"I'm sorry that happened.. I can't believe he did that."

Genya poured some disinfectant on the rag and lightly cleaned my wound, I winced. He looked up at me his eyes showing worry and concern as he continued to ramble,

"You alright?" He took the rag off after cleaning it and I nodded lightly.

He continued to take care of my wound carefully and gently as if he touched me too roughly I'd break.

"Don't think about what happened too much okay? I don't uhm need you worrying."

"And I know you still wonder sometimes if you were enough and, you are."

"it's Sanemi and y'know how he is.." Genya looked up at me for a response but I seemed zoned out.. I saw him blush and I raised my brow.. wondering what was making him so flustered.

"Y'know.." he started, I looked at him staring at his jet black mohawk.. and his eyes..

He bit his lip but he continued anyway..

"You deserve someone better Like.." he paused again..

I tilted my head.. I had a feeling what he was going to say and I wanted him to say It.. I started to develop feelings for him too and I was really hoping I wasn't wrong about what he wanted to say.. he finished wrapping my arm in white bandages,

"Like who?"

"Like me." He muttered.. His cheeks faded into a deep red as well as mine.. Oh my god so it wasn't one sided.. I was just oblivious! I smiled happily and spoke,

"Was that a confession?"

He looked down shyly..

"Uh, I guess so? Yea I uhm I like you." He looked like a shy child at that moment and I giggled lightly..

"I like you too." Genya looked up at me and his face was now a tomato "Say what? Wait can you say that again?.." he scratched the back of his head looking into my eyes anticipating hoping I would say it again..

"I like you too."

Gorou:

You kicked your feet slightly, your legs dangling over the edge of the dock with the water mere inches away. The sweet smell of autumn cherry trees in the air and the subtle bubbles of fish so close you could see them made you feel like you were in a story book. To make it all even better the person you loved so much was sitting next to you, his light auburn hair softly swaying in the breeze and his smile bright... contagious to say the least.

"This is a really beautiful place Gorou...thank you for sharing it with me." You said quietly as you leaned over, laying your head on his soft shoulder and enjoying the moment to the fullest. His arm wrapped around you and he placed a gentle kiss on the top of your head, his voice filled with love as he responded, "I used to come here after a bad day during the war...it became a place I cherished, a safe place..and I wanted to share it with you...because you're my safe place now."

Tighnari:

You giggled quietly at Tighnari, his ears flattened against his head cause of his hood and his nose red from the cold snow that slowly drifted down from the clouds. "You look so cute!" You stated happily, your gloved hands touching his face to warm up his cold cheeks and your lips touching his soft ones in a sweet kiss.

"I may look cute but I'm actually deadly, especially if you touch my ears." He joked, pulling you close to him in a comforting embrace and warming the two of you up, his forehead resting against yours gently. The icy weather couldn't calm down the blush on your face as you brushed your noses together, giving him loving butterfly kisses.

Xiao:

Xiao held you tightly, his arms around you as he hopped from the roof of one building to the next, the scenery zipping by and the people of Liyue watching you with curious stares. Your face was pressed against his chest, your hands making fists with his shirt as you did your best to keep yourself calm...why did you suggest this again?

You knew he'd never let any harm come to you, but being so high above the ground...with everyone watching...was slightly terrifying. It ended sooner than you thought it would, his fast pace coming to a stop as he gently landed on the ground directly in front of the restaurant you had intended to eat at. He let you go and you teetered, like a child that has spun in circles so much you were dizzy, you legs wobbly and unsteady.

He instantly pulled you close to him again, making sure you didn't fall as he spoke "Sorry...I forgot you're not used to this...are you alright?" His voice had a hint of worry and his golden yellow eyes were trained on you, watching for any signs of injury. "No I'm alright, don't worry." You smiled reassuringly and placed a gentle kiss on his cheek, snuggling into him slightly as his face turned a light pink.

Scaramouche:

You looked up at Scaramouche from your position in his lap, a blanket on the both of you and his arms wrapped gently around you, his chin resting on your head. You could barely believe this was happening, him being so soft with you like this...and not saying a word...just enjoying spending time with you.

You weren't sure what had happened, all you knew was he had a difficult day, and he asked you, in a more desperate tone than you ever thought he could muster, to sit with him for a little. You couldn't help but smile, snuggling deeper into him, further under the warm covers, his grip tightening slightly when you moved...like he wanted to make sure you were going to leave...

Cyno:

"I have another one...I'm sure it will make you laugh." Cyno said, he had been telling you his jokes for a hour now and although one or two had made you laugh...the majority weren't the best. You didn't mind though, you enjoyed sharing in his passion and he always seemed so happy when you took the time to listen to his bad puns.

"Alright, one more and then I have to get home." You smiled as his eyes lit up with excitement, clearly he had been waiting to say this one. "Knock knock." He started, "Who's there?" He smiled slightly, "Noah" "Noah who?" His smile grew and you could tell this one was different than the rest...what was he up to? "Noah place I can stay the night?" He finished with a wink, making you blush bright red.

Did...he just use a dad joke to ask if he could stay the night...

Girl talk! ><

"KYAAA! I knew it! I always knew it!" Mitsuri yelled as she jumped in place, splashing water everywhere. They were both in the hot springs at the swordsmith village. When (Y/n)'s sword got broken mid-battle, she went to the village for a new one when she unexpectedly met Mitsuri. The two were very happy to see each other again.

"D-don't make it sound like a big deal.." (Y/n) got embarrassed from Mitsuri's reaction about her and Kyojuro. "How can I not?! The way you both looked at each other before you got together made me want to scream from the top of my lungs! It was going to happen sooner or later." Mitsuri splashed more water on (Y/n) as she moved non-stop while talking enthusiastically.

(Y/n)'s face got even more red and she hugged her knees to her chest. "But lately, he's been acting kind of weird.." she admitted as she recalled why she felt the need to relax and head to the hot springs in hope to clear her mind. Mitsuri's bubbly behavior stopped as she heard the distress in her friend's voice. She slowly sat down next to (Y/n). "Why is that?" She questioned.

(Y/n) sighed and leaned back. "I don't even know. His behavior just seems..odd. in our short encounters, he doesn't say a lot. It always seems like something is weighing his mind. When I asked him about it, he just smiled nervously and said that he's tired. Though I can clearly see that he's feeling unfulfilled with something. Perhaps I'm just making him uncomfortable.." She finished her rant with another long sigh.

Mitsuri didn't respond for a while as she pondered (Y/n)'s words and analyzed Kyojuro's behavior. Just when (Y/n) lost hope that she will ever reply, she suddenly clicked her fingers as a huge grin spread on her face. "Got it!," she yelled, "The reason why he's acting like that, the reason why he seems unfulfilled, is because he wants to say the three big words!" She crossed her arms and raised her chin, feeling satisfied with her abilities.

(Y/n) tilted her head, not knowing what she was talking about. "The three big words..?" She asked.

"C'monnnn~ don't tell you don't know the three big words!!" Mitsuri turned to (Y/n) with her surprised expression.

When her friend shook her head in confusion, she sighed and started to explain. "You know..! The three big words that every couple has to say to each other eventually!" Under (Y/n)'s still puzzled expression, Mitsuri squealed as she realized she had to say them out loud for her to understand.

"The 'I love you'..!" She whispered in (Y/n)'s ear, her face immediately gotten red. "W-w-whaaatttt!!" She yelled as her eyes winded while shooking her head repeatedly. "Nonono! It's way too early for that! We've only been dating for-"

"Almost 5 months now!" Mitsuri completed her sentence. "And the most far you two went is a kiss! How slow can you guys possibly be!"

(Y/n) became even more red from the thoughts of going anywhere further than that. "And that's completely fine! Really now, you don't expect us to.." her stomach did a weird flip as she struggled to finish her sentence.

Mitsuri sighed. "Listen, I'm not judging you guys at all. It's reasonable to keep it slow. I'm just saying.. maybe Kyojuro-kun wants to take it a step further." She leaned back and played with the warm water, splashing a little on (Y/n) to try to get her attention, though the girl only buried her face within her palms as she whined.

"Now you made me all nervous. Just the thought of him saying it is making me feel like I'm going to burst! And after that.. we're going to take it a step further and..!!" She slowly slipped into the water in hope of hiding her very defined blush, leaving only the nose and up exposed.

Mitsuri stared at her flustered friend, trying not to giggle at how cute she looked. "Oh, come on," she wrapped her arms around her. "It's all going to be okay! Do you love him?" Her unexpected question made (Y/n) eyes to widen as she took her head out of the water.

"What kind of question is that?!" She raised her voice.

"Answer me, do you love him?"

(Y/n) ran away from her gaze and nodded slowly as the blush reappeared on her face. "Then you don't have a reason to worry. It will all happen when it needs to happen." She backed away from (Y/n) and let herself sink in the calming water around her. "You both are just so cute!! I'm starting to feel jealous!" She giggled.

"Ah, don't play dumb with me, Mitsuri." (Y/n) smirked slowly, suddenly realizing she can now tease her friend back. "What do you mean?" Mitsuri tilted her head, causing one of her braids to slip in the water. "I don't think that there's a single piller who's oblivious to you and Iguro," she giggled. "Well, except for Muichiro - Though I don't think he really counts."

Mitsuri immediately raised her upper body out of the water. She was so flustered that it seemed the blush even reached her neck. "WAS IT THAT OBVIOUS?!" She screamed, causing (Y/n) to flinch and cover her ears.

"Be quite..! Some people might be asleep!" (Y/n) scolded her, but Mitsuri didn't seem bothered at all. Heck, (Y/n) doubted she even heard what she said.

"I- I mean, we're not official yet.. though I think he's about to ask me the big question! Oh! and the other time.." she kept talking about him. And (Y/n) realized she won't stop soon. But she didn't mind. she listened carefully and asked questions, making Mitsuri talk faster and faster, obviously excited about finally sharing someone about her romance with the snake piller.

A/n: The next chapter might be a little spicy.. be prepared!!

Muichiro looked up and pointed to the smiling flame hashira behind them. 'You thought you could hide forever?'

Iguro and Giyuu were quick, but they forgot that Muichiro was with them and was caught by Rengoku.

'Mui-!Gah! What?!'

'I got you!', Iguro decided not to look back, but I think it would have been for the best because Mitsuri caught him from behind. 'Surprise Iguro-San~'

'Nemi... Wait... You don't want to do it... Right?' 'Mitsuri, love. No, please...', both hashiras were considering their decision until a shriek from the mist hashira brought them back to reality. 'Oh Mui, I think they forgot about you, but don't worry! I'm here for you!'

'WHAHAHAHAHHA!! WAHAHIT!!! NOHOHO!! IT TIHIHICKLEHEHES!! GIHIHIYUU!! HEHEHELP ME!!', ehhh, I don't think Giyuu can help you Muichiro, he is, ehhh... A bit busy

'NEHEHEHEMI!!! NOHOHOHO!! YOU KNOHOHOW I'M TIHIHICKLISH!!!'

'I know, and I like that about you~', Sanemi sang into Giyuu's ear before digging into Giyuu's lower ribs and digging in hard, growling as him boyfriend tried to pull away from him and kick into the air.

'Calm down Iguro-San, I'll be gentle with you~', Mitsuri was gentle, she gently caressed Obanai's lower back, but I think the gentleness with which she did it was enough to make him laugh and try to get away from her.

'MIHIHIT!!! GAHAHAHAHA!! WHY?! STAHAHAHAP!!!', it didn't take long until the 3 hashiras were unable to say a word and just laughed, accepting their fate.

They couldn't take it anymore, the insatiable tickling in their worst places, the teasing from their companions, the exhaustion from the effort they made trying to get away from them, everything had exhausted them, for them there was no escape...

'Boo~ !', Rengoku was startled when someone picked him up, whoever it was, Muichiro was immensely grateful that someone helped him in those moments. 'Who?! Uzui?!'

'Okay okay, apparently there was a party I wasn't invited to. I thought we were friends!'

Uzui took offense, digging hard into Rengoku's hips, holding him tight and avoiding his partner's kicks. 'UZUHUHUHUI!!!!'

'Calm down Rengoku, your allies won't be free either', Uzui nodded to Sanemi, who was with both arms above his head while Gyomei tickled him belly and hips. 'HIMEJIHIHIMA!! WAHAIT!! HOWOW?!'

'Shinazugawa, you overreacted this time. Look at Giyuu, he's panting and his breathing had some difficulty. You should have had mercy on him, everyone should have', Gyomei smirked when Sanemi squealed.

Muichiro turned his gaze to Mitsuri, he had stopped tickling Iguro when Shinobu started scratching at his ribs. 'Ehehehehe! Kohohocho!'

'Ara Mitsuri - Chan~ I thought you could take this', Shinobu turned her head and saw Muichiro, who approached her after being told to come closer.

'Hey Mui, look... Scratch her waist'

'Okay...' 'HEHEHEHE! GUHUHUYS!', Mitsuri fell to her knees to the ground as both young men concentrated on avenging their friend.

That day Mitsuri, Rengoku and Sanemi learned the hard way that they had to respect the limits of their fellow hashiras.

For years, you kept on chasing this guy from your class who's know to be charismatic though he can get mean at times but it looks like fate had other plans.

You planned to invite him on your party, a celebration for graduation unfortunately he wasn't interested but this didn't stop you from having fun with your girlfriends so you decided to drink something strong with them to keep your thoughts away Celebrate your graduation

"Cheers to L/N Y/N for finishing college!"

Mitsuri said as she raised her glass and they clinked their glasses all together, After that they all together drank the liquid inside.

Kanae then put her hand on her mouth after tasting that the alcohol inside was too strong for her taste and asked you in a concerned tone "My, My. I must say that this is a strong drink, are you sure you can handle this Y/N-san?" You gave her a smile and assured her that you can handle it this is nothing compared to the years I spent chasing him "Yes I can handle it I always wanted to try something strong y'know" Kanae then just gave her a slight nod as they continued drinking, talking, eating and singing with the others.

After a few drinks, they all talked about their love life and you were the most quiet one in the room the topic is pretty shit lame, shinobu noticed this and decided to ask you if you were okay "Oh? Y/N-san you seem a little too quiet are you okay? You can't be sad right now since you just finished college! C'mon put up a smile" shinobu then walked towards you trying to force a smile on your face, you were a little drunk by now and just decided to put on a fake smile for them not to worry about you.

"I don't think she can relate to the topic just yet, judging she doesn't have a boyfriend." The girl with pig tails stated while she was eating her favorite snacks with kanao who just nodded at the girl's statement.

Mitsuri and kanae gasped at this "You don't have a boyfriend yet?!" They spoke in a sync. Shinobu just had a shock expression "So that's why you avoid talking about love life "

You then tried to defend yourself "You know I'm too busy for that! He choosed my best friend" You made up an excuse even though you just got rejected by the guy in your class who have a long black hair that fades to mint green, he always seems mad when you try to talk to him and not only that he rejected you harshly too.

"We understand that you are busy but sometimes.." kanae paused and took a sip of her drink "We all need someone to be there for us." Mitsuri and shinobu nodded at kanae's words, Aoi then looked over at kanao "tanjiro-kun have a lot of friends right? Why don't you try introducing som-" you then interrupted at the thoughts of being set up with someone "no need!" You don't really like those kind of blind dates or set up things you really are really more into destiny and believes that waiting and patience is the key.

Aoi just slightly nodded and to lighten up the mood, you all just talked about another topic instead and continued on drinking. Aoi and kanao didn't drink as much as you and the others did so they didn't really got drunk only you, kanae, mitsuri and shinobu got extremely drunk.

Shinobu got so drunk that she ended up hugging you and crying about her pet gold fish that just died, kanae was opening up to Aoi and kanao about her sweet moments with her boyfriend, mitsuri was clinging to you while at the same time chatting her boyfriend and you thinking about when your love life will begin.

"oHh~ I forgooooot to m3ntion!" Said the pink hair girl "my snake guy wi- hiccup will be picking me up soon!" The girls then giggled seeing mitsuri's state and said that they will be also accompanied by their boyfriends. Kanao then realized that you have no one to pick you up so she decided to offer you some company.

"Y/N-san, do you want to go along with me and tanjiro-kun? It's dangerous for you to be out there.." said kanao nervously, she was still pretty shy despite knowing the girls for years. You then just declined the offer and said that you can walk yourself even though the girls insisted you didn't give in because you don't wanna be a third wheel

After an hour the fun had ended, the guys showed up one by one and of course you are jealous for being the only one without a significant other. You were left alone with mitsuri at the karaoke room and she was waiting for her snake boyfriend to arrive so you started a conversation with her while her boyfriend isn't there yet since it was pretty boring and she wanted to entertain herself for a while unfortunately it didn't take too long for him to arrive. After a knock was heard you sighed and mitsuri kissed you on the cheeks waving goodbye, her snake boyfriend gave you a death glare. what's up with this guy he's fucking weird

"keep your girlfriend in check because the next time I see her she's mine!" I teased him and he looks like he was about to explode while mitsuri was giggling

You decided to stay for a few more minutes because your head was hurting, and when you were just about to leave you noticed something, mitsuri's wallet was on the couch

You took the wallet and was planning on returning it to tomorrow. You sighed and thought that you should gave mitsuri a lecture when you meet her since if it wasn't for you who saw this another person would definitely steal money from it.

you then tried to walk but failed you instead dropped on your knees and was having a hard time to walk due to your vision being blurry and your head hurting. You were too dizzy to move and a thought came across your mind Why do they found the love of their life while I'm here suffering how unfair is it?

"FUCK YOU YUICHIRO CAN'T BELIEVE I WASTED ALL MY COLLEGE YEARS ON YOU! I can't believe it you fooled me with your promises." You yelled while still on the ground and you started crying, tears of regret on how blind you were. You literally did everything for him and be there for him but all he did was push you away where did you go wrong? After that you covered your face and kept on questioning yourself why did you even liked him?

A hand was then placed on your head "Are you alright ma'am?" This voice... it's too familiar isn't it? You slowly looked up and you saw his long black hair that fades to mint green "YU-YUI? How did you find me? Get out of here!" you mistaken this poor guy for yuichiro and slapped him out of rage he seemed so confused and lost. He then hold the part you slapped "I'm sorry for interrupting you but I'm not yuichiro, My name is Muichiro Tokito." You being drunk still couldn't care less and proceeded to tell him how much you hate yuichiro and you still think that he is yuichiro.

"I actually just came here to retrieve a item that my friend's girlfriend lost but looking at your condition...It is indeed dangerous for a girl like you to walk outside at this hour so please let me accompany you, Also My brother Yuichiro is sometimes a bit mean but he is also a good guy so please calm down." The guy said as he helped you get up, your shoulders was placed on his while he held your waist for support. Even at your drunken state you couldn't help but realize how cute he was and how he was being such a gentlemen he was way better than his brother.

He then placed you on his car's front seat and he sat in the driver's seat. He then asked you where you lived and you didn't even answered him instead you kept on saying the most random things ever "Y'know your brother, I feel like he just needs a sympathetic pat...." You paused "on the head. . . With a hammer" muichiro then just looked at you "ma'am where do you li-"

"you are way better than your brother I'd marry you if I have the chance."

Muichiro was caught off guard by what you said and heat rise up his cheeks "yo-you are drunk ma'am." He gulped.

"I might be drunk but trust me Moihiro, I always mean every single word I said." Muichiro then raised an eyebrow at you in confusion "it's mui-chi-ro ma'am"

"Okay maichiro!" Muichiro then just sighed and chuckled, his chuckles caused your heart to beat fast so you immediately looked away "you should marry me"

"what?"

Muichiro was dumfounded as he was driving, he then turned over to the clock on his car and sighed "I can let you stay in my house if you want if not just tell me your address so I can drive you th-" You then cried and cried out randomly mentioning about yuichiro again and muichiro listened even though you weren't answering his question or even listening to him at all.

"they say ice cream is therapy maybe ice cream would really make me happy maybe it will even make me move on from yui!" You said while hope filled your eyes, muichiro handed you a handkerchief and you took it wiping your tears. "Well I guess I'll buy you ice cream if that's what will shut you up."

Muichiro then drive-thru McDonald's and got you a mcflurry and some other sort of ice creams, you happily ate them all up and muichiro was basically cleaning all your mess since you were still drunk and out of your mind so you ate so messingly.

"My name is y/n, but I'd prefer it if you call me love!" Muichiro then decided to go along with your jokes "Okay, love is it then."

You happily hugged him and he scolded you "Oi, I'm driving right now". after a non stop ranting to muichiro you basically fall asleep in his car. It took 30 minutes of driving for him to arrive to his house he tried waking you up but you weren't budging so he carried you bridal style. He then placed you on his bedroom and covered you with his warm blanket as you were sleeping soundly.

"muichiro, what is she doing here?" The older brother was in the door standing, "Oh brother, I just took her in since it's dangerous for girls to be outside this hou-" yuichiro then got mad and cutted his sentence "Shut up! You are too soft muichiro you should of have just let her freeze outside! You don't know she could be a thief or whatever bad intentions she have!" Yuichiro said those mean words though he didn't really meant it he just wants muichiro to stay away from her. After all sometimes "feelings" just comes in late

"but bro-" yuichiro then just walked away. With this muichiro felt a little sad that his brother was mad at him so he just sat on his little couch while watching you sleep "Why is big brother so mad?"

THE NEXT MORNING

Y/N'S POV

My head hurts, I can barely open my eyes. What the fuck happened last night? I couldn't even remember anything.

I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was the ceiling, I didn't recognized the ceiling's color at all. I started looking around and I spotted a guy who was seating in a couch reading a book silently. He looked mesmerizing but at the same time he looked quite... familiar

YUICHIRO?

"yuichiro-san?" I tried sitting up but I was struggling and I couldn't sit up myself, "what happened last n-" the guy then got up on his couch and hushed me "Shh, you can't be moving around too much you were pretty drunk yesterday." He paused "it's muichiro not yuichiro."

"muichiro? I have never heard that name do I know you?" I asked, this guy...did he do something to me? Do I know him? Damn I regret not going with kanao and tanjiro

"I'm yuichiro's younger brother, we are twins." He stated. I then gave him a surprised look I didn't know yuichiro had any twins however this twin looks more gentle and calm than yuichiro was.

"how are you feeling, love?"

I then frozed on Spot, did he just call me that?

"sorry what?"

"did you not heard me? I'll repeat. How are you feeling, Love?"

I then blushed in embarrassment, I did heard him but I didn't want to believe what I just heard, why is he calling me love all of the sudden I don't even know this dude I only know his brother, "My name is Y/N. Why are you calling me that?" Muichiro then just chuckled a bit which made my heart fluttered, his chuckles was cute I thought.

"I think it's only fair I tease you back for what you said all night to me."

DANG I FORGOT I WAS HELLA DRUNK WITH THE GIRLS. "HUH? I'M SORRY I DON'T REMEMBER I WAS DRUNK LAST NIGHT!"

he then just gave me a smile "It's fine, I was just kidding." He returned to his coach "Mitsuri will be arriving soon and she said she will love to give you a ride on your way home." I then nodded and decided to ask him two questions.

"Is there anyone else in this house?" He then shook his head "no, it's just me and my brother yuichiro. Why?"

"is that so? Then why is my clothes different from what I wore last night?"

It took them many pleas, endless times of trying to hit him, to break free, until they both just understood their fate, writhing in Giyuu's strong grip. But, unlike others, he was not so cruel, so when he saw both of them, he felt mercy and released them, smiling when he saw Genya hug himself and turn around laughing, and Muichiro breathe as if he had been hanged

'Very well, so did you understand that my love is the same but with different situations?' 'Yes, and you should understand that every action has its consequences...'

Its the windmill's birthday!

Sanemi like to think of himself as a calm stable individual

He likes to think of himself as a level headed person, a person who wouldn't dare lift a single finger on a person.

So as any calm, sane, stable, and level headed person would do, he was keeping himself from wrapping his hands around the water pillar and choking the everliving life out of those blue eyes.

"Fuckin hell, is there anybody else here? I would take the fucking seaweed head then to be in the same room as mister 'I'm not like the rest of you'"

Now, any sane person would know not to reply to Sanemi since he looked as if he was about to commit murder at any moment but Tomioka Giyuu was everything but sane.

"Hello Shinazugawa, do you know what the date is?"

To be honest, Sanemi couldn't have given a single flying fuck about the date. To him everyday was the same. Clean up from the night before, help Shinobu out in the mansion, Complain to Iguro about some slayers, check on Genya, get assigned a mission, kill demon. and repeat.

He was on the way to check on Genya the stone mansion when an emergency hashira meeting was called thus landing him here, in the same room alone with mismatched haori.

It's safe to assume that Sanemi was pissed.

"Why the fuck would I know the date? And where the fuck are all the others? Himejima-san wouldn't dare being late to a hashira meeting"

"..."

"Well don't just be a stand alone silent bitch, say something!"

"You really don't know the date?"

Huh?

Okay what was so important about the date that Tomioka fucking Giyuu, the guy that didn't give a shit about time, to be so persistant for him to know the date?

Well, Sanemi knew around 4 days ago it was the 25th. So if he were to add 4 days to 25 he would get

"The 29th of November. There, happy now?"

If Sanemi was pissed before (which he was) he was a boiling over volcano now.

"Yes thats it. What else do you want me to say edge lord? A couple days after that one American holiday?"

"Wow, didn't peg you to be the forgetful type Sanemi, thought that was Tokito's job."

"Fuck you, my memory is just fine!"

"Tokito refrain from cursing. Obanai stop picking fights with little kids. Sanemi are you really that stupid?"

"Fuck you Shinobu, i'm not stupid"

"Shinazugawa I will kindly ask you to refrain from cursing. We have a child here"

"Himejima-san, that 'child' just cursed out Obanai"

"Ara Ara Tomioka-san! You should speak up a bit more frequently, other people didn't even notice you!"

"e-eh, Tokito-kun, Shinazugawa-san, we shouldn't curse each other out!"

"I agree with Kanroji"

"Aren't you in lo-"

Sanemi snorted, happy that he wasn't stuck with depressed emo nerd, but it wasn't long until Obanai's words caught up to him.

"Iguro what did you mean by me being forgetful? I don't think anything important is happening today"

"HAAAH? YOU FORGOT!?"

"Mitsuri if you could lower your voice"

"Right, sorry Shinobu. You forgot!?"

Now Sanemi wasn't angry, he was just confused.

"Alright, first Tomioka drilling me about the date, second Shinobu calling me an idiot and third you telling me I forgot about something? Okay if I forgot about something what did I forget about?"

"Your birthday silly!"

Oh. Oh. OHHHHH.

Oh shit

Thats what he forgot about.

So what, he's 22 now.

He never really celebrated his birthday, too focused on surviving in the hellhole he was supposed to call home. After his father sperm donor was killed, he kind of forgot his birthday existed.

"Wait- how did you guys know it was my birthday?"

"Thats for us to know"

"Iguro you little shit-"

Sanemi sighed and flushed a little red, embarrassed that he forgot, and came face to face with Tomioka the mother fucking Giyuu. Wayyy to close.

If Sanemi was a bit pink then he was a fucking tomato now. One thing he noticed was that Giyuu was holding an ohagi.

"Here, happy birthday"

Sanemi snatched the ohagi from Giyuu's hands and took a bite. It melted right on his tongue and hit the spot. It was the perfect amount of quantity, quality, and sweetness.

"I hope you like it. Genya told me how you like and how to make it. He's a sweet person, your brother. He's also adorable when he focuses. Hope you enjoy it 'Nemi'"

Sanemi likes to consider himself as a very nice person.

So as any calm, sane, stable, level headed person would do, he lunged for Tomioka's throat and proceeded to strangle the everliving shit out of the water hashira.

"STAY AWAY FROM MY FUCKING BROTHER!"

○Rengoku Kyojuro○

•This man constantly will eat your food and then say how tasty it was. Not even food you cooked either just food that belonged to you. Especially if it's your favorite food.

"Hey Kyo, Have you seen (F/F)?" You say, staring into the fridge as if you're going crazy. You bought your favorite food 2 days ago for yourself as a small congratulation and now you wanted it. "Oh yes, I had eaten it! It was rather tasty love!" He says, smile as bright as ever while he stares at you without blinking. You stare back. "Kyojuro, you..you know that was mine right?" You ask him, unsure if he realizes he ate YOUR favorite food. "Yes! I do understand that! I can see why you call it your favorite food!" He says brightly. You on the other hand look as if you're ready to kill him. "Thank you for the food love!" Oh yeah, now he's gonna die.

○Shinobu Kocho○

•She isn't the type to slip up, especially infront of you. But sometimes she gets mad enough that she let's her little facade fall and she starts swearing.

"Don't be mad cause you're tiny, it's okay to not have grown fully!" Uzui says in an argument as Shinobu looks like she ready to kick his ass. "Well don't be mad at me when you're six feet in the grave!" Shinobu says, a bit to cheery for your liking. Noticing this, you gently grab her by the shoulders and lead her away, saying goodbye to Uzui and taking her to the butterfly mansion to calm her down. Once there she starts muttering under her breath, "That man..Thinks he's so flamboyant and so amazing he lacks basic respect for others. I'll show that mother fucking bitch-" she stops and looks at you, eyes opened yet not filled with worry just yet. "...You didn't hear that did you?" She ask you, you did. But for your safety you shake your head no.

○Giyuu Tomioka○

•He's the silent reserved type but that doesn't mean he doesn't do stupid shit too. The stupid thing he does is that he'll try to kick rocks when hes upset, fall and then get up like nothing happend.

"I just feel like non of them like me, y'know?" Giyuu says as you guys walk around the Demon Slayer Corp grounds, you nod in support as you hold his hand. "Sometimes I wish I would speak out more!" He exclaimed, getting madder at the end and swinging the inside of his left foot full force to kick a rock. He missed, and since it was full force his leg flew in the air as he flew backwards. You on the other hand stood there in shock, you wanted to laugh but decided against it, "Tomi, are you-" you cut yourself off as he starts getting up quickly and turning towards you. "Let's keep walking." He says blankly, completey ignoring the fact that theres small pebbles and dirt now in his hair.

○Sanemi Shinazugawa○

•He's a night owl, he will stay up and sometimes go get a late night snack but beforehand he'll stare at you and goddamn is it terrifying.

It was a cold fall night, you and your lover, Sanemi, were comfortably sleeping in bed as you basked in each others warmth. (You more so than him) or at least, that's what you had thought. In reality your beloved boyfriend is currently awake and looking down at you. Lovingly of course. Sanemi is a night owl and sometimes when he wakes up he takes in your features and checks if there is anything new about you. Usually he does this until he falls back asleep, and hold you as you're still asleep. But not this time. This time, you woke up. And the first thing you see were Sanemi's wide eyes staring right back at you. And this, this triggered your fight or flight. So you hit him and jumped off the bed, you didn't make it far before he grabbed your arm and exclaimed, "Shit-! Babe it's me!" He said holding the part of his face you harshly attacked. "Oh..I'm sorry 'Semi.." you say, turning around to see your boyfriend with his eyes squinted and checking to see if he's bleeding.

○Mitsuri Kanroji○

•The sweetest thing on earth, but she will 100% be angry at you for not eating after you're done doing a hard mission or task, she thinks you deserve a good meal after all that but sometimes it comes off more aggressive than she wants.

You had just finished a mission killing a few lower rank demons and in the process got a cut on your arm, so now you're on the way to the butterfly mansion to make sure that this doesn't get worse. When you arrive you see none other than you're sweet girlfriend, Mitsuri. You smile at her and approach her before you can ask her anything she just goes, "Have you eaten yet?" And when you answer no her face turns pouty. "Wait but I can explain-" before you can finish she interrupts you, "Y/N you know you're supposed to eat at least 3 meals a day! Last time I saw you was lunch and you didnt even eat that! How are you supposed to be a strong Hasira if you dont take care of yourself? You--" she cut herself off when she saw your bleeding arm, "AND you're bleeding? There would've been less blood had you kept a good eating habit but no, 'Im-A-Meal-Skipper' you didn't!" She says getting more pouty and pissed. She means well yes but she very aggressive in making sure you eat right so that you're okay. So pull up a chair you might wanna get nice and comfy because depending on whenever Shinobu comes back this can take a while.
