God I’m just thinking. And ugh, the Jedi’s martial arts must have been amazing. They had seven distinct styles, passed down over a thousand generations, by uncountable lineages.
Every lineage must have had their own katas, their own training methods and distinct variations on the forms. There were probably inter-lineage feuds on what type of sparring they taught, variations on specific katas, which techniques were acceptable in sparring, anything. You KNOW those High Republic Outpost Jedi must have created new styles that were gradually subsumed into the 7 forms.
What would a Jedi Tournament have looked like? Were there ones for specific forms, like Soresu-only competitions? Did they have some kind of point sparring? Was there an endurance/blocking division? How would they have measured Force abilities in a tournament setting? How did they score?
In conclusion, SHOW ME THE SECRET JEDI MARTIAL ARTS LORE LUCASFILM

still not over the absolutely braindead take that "if you say brutalism looks dystopian, you care more about your aesthetic than people having homes!!!!"
like
can't criticize Shein or you must want their workers to be unemployed
oh you don't like that restaurant? guess you want the people eating there to STARVE
fuck both roses AND bread; nutrient-dense gray EnergyCubes would keep you alive so wishing for a better sensory experience is basically capitalist bootlicking
(I agree that considering Soviet-era brutalist apartment buildings in the context of "shit we need housing; put something up quick" is important for those specific structures- though I think that can coexist with "wow that's ugly" -but. this person did not stop there)

Just Admit It- Part 1
I've been playing around with possible friendship dynamics of the Beast Council for fun!! I love imagining what kind of childhood they could have in the Forgotten Land all together.
What if Carol and Sillydillo are the fun-loving extroverts? Leon is the introverted one who's been smitten by Carol for a really really long time but he's too shy about it? And Gori is the friend who is an excellent observer and will bluntly tell you what he thinks (and maybe has a tendency to get grumpy when things aren't easily going his way).
Somewhat of a prequel to this other doodle comic about Leon and Carol- everyone here is still a kid ^_^

The Three Eowyns from my 1920s Middle Earth au, "A Dance at the Palantiri"!! The White Lady of Rohan, Dernhelm, and a flapper dancer!
aka the three personas of Eowyn that Faramir falls in love with simultaneously without realizing that they are all, in fact, the same person LOL
Fic Summary: It's the 1920s in Middle Earth, and Éowyn just wants to get away. Just for a week, to be able to truly be herself, not just an esteemed Princess of the Riddermark. When she escapes under the disguise of a man named Dernhelm to Osgiliath, by fate she crosses paths with Lord Faramir, an infamous playboy and partygoer, who manages to rope her into becoming a bartender at his equally, if not more, infamous club and bar, The Palantiri.
The Palantiri is more than meets the eye, same as its owner, however. Éowyn quickly realizes that the club is not just for people to lose themselves, but to lose their secrets too. There's more than meets the eye of Faramir, too, she finds.
Suddenly, Éowyn finds herself neck deep in a years old secret operation in the war effort, and must do so while keeping up the guise of a man.
Trying out and having fun with a different to my usual style "very stylized" style :D
Also should I update this fic?

Karting Champion and tutor, Mike Wilson spoke about his first encounter with Lance during his karting days in an interview, with an interesting comparison to a young Fernando Alonso, whom he'd also mentored:
"Before leaving I said to my wife: "The father told me that the boy is very good. But it's normal to say that, do you know how many times I've heard it before? I assure you that if he is not phenomenal, I will return home, I don't want to waste time". Instead, when I saw him on the track, I realised that his father had his reasons and that this was a special child, with something more than others. Above all I was surprised by his determination: it was greater than normal. And this is strange, because boys who comes from such wealthy families generally do not need to struggle to get anything; consequently, they are not very determined. Not him. Quite the contrary! Before him, the last boy I had seen with his "willingness" was Fernando."
"Lance drove well and listened to all the advice. I remember a ROK International Final in which he started from the front row, in second place.
The commissioners decided to replace the clutch for the first four (a precaution to avoid misconduct …) and he, at the second restart, started badly due to an overheated clutch. He was among the last drivers, but he did not lose heart because of this: he put his head down and proved to be among the fastest on the track. If he had started further ahead he would have won the race, also because he managed to overtake without wasting time: if you can do this at 11 years of age, it's only because you have talent. If that inconvenience had happened to me, I would have been so annoyed that I would have stopped and returned to the pits. It was certainly not easy to tutor Lance in those years: I would stay on Canada for a month, then return to Italia for a few weeks. Then I would go back to Canada, and so on. With a wife and children at home it certainly wasn’t easy. But it gave me great satisfaction: when he would climb onto the podium it would be as if I was there with him. Making money is important in life, but doing something you like is better. At my age, I still manage to get emotional on the track, and staying close to Lance was emotional.” - source

Hopefully this isn't too weird but I love the way you draw hands, it's like the way you draw them seem just as expressive as the faces on the characters, I just love how they look and I hope I get there someday (if you have any tips please share but if not that's okay!)
I love your art and characters and how you draw their expressions/poses, it's all so nice!
Not weird at all, I'm very flattered! Hands have become extremely important to me, I tend to put a lot of effort in trying to get them look just right. I'm still not where I want to be with them but improving nonetheless. If you ask me, a thoughtfully and intently drawn hand can be almost as expressive as a character's face, just like you said. They're such complex and intricate structures with massive emotive and aesthetic potential, it'd be waste to not make use of them in art.

i had this idea about sans walking alone in the rain because Sad™️ but papyrus having NONE of that and yeeting an umbrella over him but sans aint happy about that because papyrus doesn't have shelter from the rain now. so they resolve this by papyrus letting sans sit on his shoulders so they can efficiently share the umbrella's shelter.
...honestly made more sense in my head but ey at least it resulted in some art
p.s. my favorite part about this is them smiling but my second favorite part is the motion blurred papyrus chasing after sans
