if friday nights were for the boys, then euronymous made sure that his saturdays went to you. whether that meant taking you out shopping for the day or spending it in bed and watching your favourite romcoms with his arm around your waist.
this saturday in particular had led to euronymous laying his head on your lap as he strummed your favourite little songs on his guitar. your fingers ran through his long, dark hair, getting it all prepped for the hairstyle you were planning on doing for him.
“tell me if i pull too hard, okay?” you cupped his face, lifting it a little so you could see his eyes. he nodded. “got it, angel.” you gave him a little kiss on the forehead, humming quietly to the music he played. he occasionally would snuggle into your soft lap a little more, letting his head sink into your thighs.
you two would indulge in some mindless conversation as you decorated him. “how’s the band been?” you’d ask out of the blue. “we’ve been alright, but business at the shop has been a little slow.” by this point you’d be adding all the bows and flowers to his hair, without his knowledge of course. “well you could always take my advice and sell some lana del rey records. i know your metalhead buddies would die for ultraviolence.” he laughed, not in a cruel way but like he was amused by your charm. “they sure would, doll.”
after a few finishing touches, he was all dolled up. you sat him up, bringing him a mirror so he could see what you had done. his hair was in elegant beach waves, held up in a half-up half-down way with two strands out in the front that made him look like a princess. and you didn’t forget the daisies and roses that cascaded down his dark locks, the whole looke tied together with a pastel pink bow on top.
he pouted a little at the grand reveal, turning to look at you. “do i still look evil?” he looked at you as you tried your best to suppress a giggle. “of course, euro. like the scariest disney villain ever.” you teased, tightening the bow in his hair. you pressed a soft kiss to his nose, his pale cheek turning the slightest shade of pink.
he smiled, snaking an arm around your waist. “thank you, my sweet angel.” you grinned from ear-to-ear. “no problem, princess.”

Six Spooky September Recs
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I know, it's not September yet, but it's coming soon, and I always feel like the beginning of autumn is a perfectly good time to start getting into the Halloween mood. So I'm recommending six books to help you get this year's spooky season going. I've tried to restrict myself to less famous or more contemporary works (we all love The Haunting of Hill House, yes, yours truly included, but it's a pretty well-known novel), and only picked books that really stayed with me. Mind the content warnings on StoryGraph for each of these.
The Red Tree by Caitlín R. Kiernan is a very, very good eldritch horror novel with a complex and deeply flawed lesbian protagonist; it's also an unsubtle but insightful examination of mental illness, toxic relationships, and the way people sometimes just can't do right by each other. Lots of hypnotic prose, bitter dialogue, and some nightmarishly beautiful imagery.
Sisters by Daisy Johnson is a very sharp, contemporary literary thriller that puts a new spin on the 'woman who has something wrong with her moves into house that has something wrong with it' Gothic trope. I picked this book up just on a whim and got completely hypnotized by the corrosive character dynamics and the haunting atmosphere.
Cast a Cold Eye by Alan Ryan is, simply put, my favorite ghost story. Set in a remote Irish village, it's the slowest of slow burns but utterly terrifying sometimes, written in literary, imaginative prose and threaded with themes of community, history and tradition examined thoughtfully through literal and metaphorical hauntings. Also, the writing is just genuinely beautiful.
Through the Woods by Emily Carroll: THE horror comic book for me. Gorgeous art and terrifying little tales (including the celebrated His Face All Red), what more do you need?
Experimental Film by Gemma Files is another excellent eldritch horror story told through a very unique perspective. The novel is about Lois, a bitter film critic who is trying to balance a difficult family life with the disappointment of her professional career, until she stumbles across a mystery in cinematic history that leads her to something terrifying. I'm pretty hard to freak out, but man, this book always does the trick. (For bonus nightmares, also read her short story each thing i show you is a piece of my death, which explains a certain side character's backstory and is literally the scariest goddamn thing I've ever read.)
And finally, Killer Verse: Poems of Murder and Mayhem is exactly what it sounds like: a poetry anthology examining the act of murder, from old ballads to contemporary poetry and through various points of view. Some of the poems are horrifying, some are bleak and some are really sad, but they all make for a hell of a read.
Happy haunting, fellow bookworms!

18. has your muse ever bathed or showered naked intimately with another?
The baker pauses for a moment.
An interesting question at just as equally interesting time. As soon as he began to ease his shirt off, Beth would inquire if he has bathed with another. Perhaps it was the oh so small hint of what hid under those tshirts or the soft loin inducing groan that escaped his lips that made her curious. More than likely it was the current sight of him in the phsyique hugging tank top that exposed those masses he called arms,
Now his pause wasn't out of malicious intent as evidenced by the ever-growing hue on his cheeks.
Chris was by no means a prude. If anything, he had his fair share of...interests outside the bedroom. Something he used his away from home to explore. As he ponders over her question, a few memories come to mind.
One memory in particular of a certain fashionable comedian named Daisy with a gap toothed smile and had the baker wrapped around her finger. After a night of studying, she decided to spend their break teasing the young baker. With a wiggle of those large hips and a wink, she managed to get the baker out of those unneeded clothes and right into her shower for a little fun.
Then he remembers their small road trip to Oasis water park with Andy and Jess. After a long day of laughs and swimming, the young baker found himself with his hand over his eyes outside of her and Andy's hotel bathroom. The other hand was blindly reaching out to hand her a towel. If his memory was correct, the young Luna could remember the future nurse asking if he wanted to join. As always, despite coming face to face with Arizona's scariest urban legends, he chickened out at the idea of being caught in the shower with Beth.
But maybe this time...he might show a little courage.
A coy smile spreads across his face, a wink following.
"A gentleman never kisses and tells, "he smiles as smooth as possible. "Are ya interested in joining me? I wouldn't mind a little company~"

From me to you | C.D.
Cedric Diggory x Reader
Warning:references to death
Masterlist
Summary:After Cedrics death you find a letter left on your bed.
Tumblr media
The chaos exploded around you:people jumped on their feet, shaking their hands in the air to celebrate the boys who had just came out from the labyrinth. You woke up too, trying to see who the winner of the Triwizard tournament was but while everyone was celebrating you soon realised that something was wrong.
Harry seemed to be almost a little dot from your seat but you immediately realised he was holding Cedric in a too weird way,and the Hufflepuff wasn’t even moving. You woke up,trying to walk down the field seats when Fleur’s scream froze the air. The students suddenly became silent as McGonagall turned around asking everyone to stay in their seats.
Your hands were shaking at the thought of what could had just happened and, soon, all your fears turned into reality. <<That’s my son!>> Cedric’s father yelled with tears falling down from his eyes. Your stomach suddenly twisted itself, throwing up its acid while you felt your throat being tied in a tight knot. Your usually bright eyes lost their lights and begun to burn like fire while your cheeks suddenly turned into slides for sealed tears. Even your legs couldn’t make you stand properly as you leaned your body against Pansy Parkinson’s who was standing right beside you
None of you ever got along well with the other, but in that moment all she could do was holding you. A hand of hers rested on your back while the other on your tummy as your eyes met:Pansy was crying too,her breath was short and heavy. You stared into each other’s eyes for a few seconds and then you pulled away, running.
You made your way in between the students, hitting Ron who looked at you with the saddest stare you had ever seen in the last years. You even bumped into George and Fred, almost falling as the second one caught you right in time <<Y/n>> he tried to speak but you pushed him and kept running, crossing also Cho Chang’s way. You saw her on her knees, desperately sobbing with Luna right next to her, looking extremely hurt.
Once you made it out with not a single professor seeing you leaving you locked yourself in your bedroom.
Your back slipped along the cold wood of the door. The air was silent, not a single noise could be heard expect the ones from your sobs.
You curled up yourself, hugging your legs you had brought against your chest and hiding your face in the cloth of your uniform skirt.
Your breath was short, you were almost gasping for air while Cedric’s memories crossed your mind like movie scenes. His smile, his pinky cheeks, his hand holding yours. Everything was now just an image stuck in your mind which made your heart emotional.
<<Y/n!>> Cedric greeted you with a soft smile, wrapping your body in a tight hug. His hands caressed your back slowly as you hid your face in the crook of his neck. His scent filled your nostril. Fresh grass and hot thea:it was the boy’s scent which reminded you of home.
You shaked your head, waking up and walking towards your bed. You sat on it and rested your head on your pillow, sliding the hands underneath it. You realised that someone left a sheet of paper under the pillow.
You sat, holding what looked like a letter and read it.
To:Y/n
From:Cedric (Ced) Diggory
Dear Y/n,
As a child mum used to tell me to write down the feelings I couldn’t control to focus on them and on how contain the little flames they sent to my heart. The recipient of my letters used to be a so called “Jace”,he was my imaginary friend. A queit type,I remember describing him like that. But today I’m not writing to him, actually I don’t even know who I’m writing to. I’m not a child anymore, but I don’t even feel to be an adult. I’m in the middle of the thin strand of my life and I’m trying to not fall in the ocean under me. The funny part of what’s going on? I’m writing this letter the night after the first task of the Triwizard Tournament:the most dangerous competition of the entire Wizarding World which I have, obviously, taken part to. A paradox, you see. I regret it. I do. I put my name in the Goblet of fire during a moment of overstatement of myself. I was feeling confident, strong, powerful,I was feeling like someone my friends would look up to...I was feeling like an adult. But I’m not. I’m just a seventeen year old boy who has just realised he wants to live the life of a seventeen year old boy. Not the life of an adult, nor of a hero,or of a fighter.
Is it too late to understand what I put myself into? I do think so,but I can’t go back in time. The concern has begun to grow, the fear has begun to take control and I’m overthinking everything. During the night I lay down and I ask myself if after the tournament I’ll be a different person. Will I keep doing everything in the same way? Will I keep seeing everything in the same way? Then, when I’m finally falling asleep the scariest question starts floating in my mind:will I be able to spend the rest of my life with the people I love? Or will I become a ghost? Someone has just popped in my mind. Someone with a beautiful smile,a girl, with a beautiful smile.
I walk her to class everyday just to see it. She’s the prettiest girl on earth, the strongest, she taught me that every scar is a sign of victory. Her name’s Y/n. Such a sweet name. Such a sweet voice. She always greets me with a soft “Hi” and she calls me “Ced”. Once I asked her why:she said that “Ced” suits me better than “Cedric” because it sounds cuter. I don’t really know if she was just fooling me or if she was telling the truth, but I loved the way she talked to me. Y/n’s my best friend, maybe something more for me. I don’t know if she has the same feelings. I think she’s my soulmate. Not in a foolish way, like what you see in random movies. A real soulmate:the piece which complete you perfectly, the piece of the puzzle which complete the whole picture. I’m not saying this just because we think and act almost in the same way,I’m saying this because when I look at her I’m SURE she’s understanding my feelings,I’m SURE she knows what’s going on in my head,so she speaks and says the right thing at the right moment of the right day.I’m so grateful for Y/n. She’s the only person I’d love to spend the rest of my life with. I’d love to wake up in the morning and see her pretty smile,I’d love to look into her eyes and see the same, deep, clear ocean everyday. I want to hug her and protect her from the worst things of this world, from the cruel life, from the pain. I want to run with her in a field of daisies and butterflies. This is what I fear now:losing her, hurting her. What if she will lose me and it will be my own fault? As I said before I put my name in the Goblet of fire in a moment of overstatement of myself but when I saw all my friends cheering for me I didn’t want to disappoint them, but in not trying to disappoint the whole chorus I disappointed the most important voice. Y/n didn’t want me to take part to the tournament. She told me it was too dangerous, that I would regret everything. And she was right. I’m an hypocrite:I ignored her and now I’m here feeling sorry for hurting her feelings and scared for what my future is going to be. Such a trouble maker. An idiot, that’s better maybe, and as an idiot I should burn this letter in the fireplace, but I’m not. I’m sending this to Y/n.
Dear Y/n,now I’m talking directly to you,I’m not just writing random feelings down anymore. I don’t know how I’ll sent this letter to you, maybe through an howl or maybe I’ll just ask Harry, but please read it until the end. You deserve to read my previous words and the following:I love you. I love you with my whole hurt and I apologise for being too impulsive,I apologise if I’ll hurt you,if you’ll cry sour tears for me,I apologise for not listening to the most important person of my life just not to disappoint someone else.I really do. I hope you’ll find this letter and you’ll bring it to me to slap me in the face, telling me that I’m an idiot and then laugh together at how much dramatic I’m being, but if it won’t happen, please, know that I will always be by your side. No matter what. So please,I’m begging you:forgive me. Forgive me for the happy ending we won’t get. Keep on with your life, find someone that will love you and listen to you in the right way. Find someone you’ll hug with the same love you hugged me,find someone you’ll talk to with the same sweetness you talked to me,find someone who won’t throw everything away and regret it when it’s too late and make them dream as much as I dreamed about you and all your little things. You’re the only one who made me feel alive. Thank you.
Be happy,Y/n.
Forever yours,
Cedric (Ced) x.

in which harry has a surprise
Harry's POV
Harry doesn't know how he managed to spend over two decades keeping secrets from Cleo. Because now, he can barely keep anything from her. It's like she has a sixth sense when it comes to him. And on most days, Harry considers it a good thing that she can see right through him, but not this time. Not when he's about to pull the biggest — and the scariest, so much so that he shivers each time he thinks about it — surprise he's ever done.
Harry Styles is going to propose to Cleo Ward tonight.
Harry can feel the weight of the small, rectangular box in his jacket, burning holes in his pocket. For the past two years, that box has made a home in his drawer, buried underneath his socks — the only place he knows where Cleo wouldn't go looking. She knows that his mother has given him the family ring — he's the one who told her that — but she doesn't know what it looks like. And Harry refuses to let her take a peek of it until it's time for him to slide it onto her finger.
"Are you sure she doesn't suspect anything?" Harry asks Adam for the, well, he's lost count already.
Adam lets out a chuckle. "Mate, relax. She doesn't suspect a thing." Before Harry can open his mouth and ask his friend if he's really sure, he beats him to it. "And yes, I'm very sure of that. If you don't trust me, trust Daisy. She's keeping Cleo busy."
Harry exhales. Not that he doesn't trust his best mate, but knowing that Daisy is in on this too makes him feel a lot better. "Okay, good."
"Where are you anyway?" Adam quizzes. "This plan's not gonna work if you're not here."
"Almost there," he replies. Harry can see the building that houses Ward's bookstore and his heart lurches in his throat. "I think I'm gonna throw up."
Adam laughs — loud. "I know that feeling."
"What if she says no?" Harry voices out his biggest fear, feeling his chest getting tighter and tighter as he nears the bookstore.
"Mate—"
"What if she laughs at my face?"
"She does that to you everyday."
Ignoring that remark, Harry voices out another fear, "What if she's not ready for this? What if—"
"Harry," Adam's firm voice shuts him up. "Breathe."
Harry does as told. Within seconds, he can feel his heartbeat returning to its normal rate.
"She's not going to say no," Adam tells him. Harry opens his mouth but like before, he's cut off. "And please don't ask me how I know that. I just know she's going to say yes. Maybe she will laugh at your face first but then she'll say yes."
That does sound like his Cleo — the laughing part, at least. Maybe she'll tell him he's being ridiculous or that he's annoying for keeping this whole thing a secret from her. But after that, maybe she'll say yes. God, he hopes she says yes.
Harry can't imagine spending the rest of his life with someone else. When he imagines his future, he sees Cleo by his side — annoying him, laughing at him and with him, rolling her eyes at him when he says something cheesy. If he's being truly honest with himself, he's had that image in his head ever since he realised that Cleo was his soulmate. And not his enemy. But he's been keeping that to himself, scared that she doesn't want the same future as he does.
"Finally," a voice snaps him back to reality. Adam is standing at the entrance of the bookstore, brows furrowing. Immediately, Harry feels his heartbeat quicken.
"What's wrong?"
"Cleo is on her way back."
"Shit," Harry mutters under his breath as he hurries inside the bookstore. "Everything's set up, right?"
"Yeah," Adam nods. "You have no idea how hard it is to keep her away from that spot."
Harry swallows. "But she doesn't suspect anything?"
"I told her I hid something for Daisy and didn't want her to find out."
"And she backed off?"
"Very reluctantly."
Harry chuckles at that. "Sounds like her."
"Good luck, mate." Adam pats Harry on the back. "I'm a phone call away if you need me."
Harry nods. "Thank you. For helping me with this."
"Hey, you helped me with my proposal. I'm just glad I could return the favour," Adam smiles. "Well, I should go before Cleo gets here."
As soon as Adam leaves, Harry makes his way to the back of the bookstore where everything is set up.
What used to be Beau's secret spot has been turned into his spot. His and Cleo's spot. Adam has helped him arrange some books — all of them are books that he's seen Cleo read — and flowers, and in the middle of all those books are the books that would determine whether he'll be celebrating or drowning in his sorrows: there are fourteen books and they're all arranged in ways so the initials of each book would spell: will you marry me?
Swallowing the lump in his throat, Harry takes out the box from his pocket and opens it up. The sight of his mother's ring takes his breath away and before he knows it, he starts to imagine how beautiful it'll look on Cleo's finger.
"Adam?"
Harry quickly closes the box and shoves it into his pocket. He takes one last look at the arrangement and takes a deep breath.
"Hellooooo? Adam? I swear if you leave this bookstore unattended I'm going to fire you," Cleo says and Harry has to bite back a laugh. "I know I said I'll never fire you but I—"
Cleo's words die in her throat when she comes face to face with Harry.
"Harry?"
"Hi."
"What are you—Where's Adam?"
"He left."
"Oh he's definitely going to get fired."
Harry laughs. "He didn't leave this place unattended. I got here before he left."
"Why?"
"Because..." Harry steps forward and takes Cleo's hands in his. She looks down at their hands, brows furrowing. He can tell she has questions on the tip of her tongue so he breaks the silence before those words could leave her mouth. "I can't have him around for this."
Then Harry leads her to the arrangement. He watches as she takes it all in, her eyes widening.
"What's all this?"
"Those are all the books I've seen you read."
She turns to him. "You remember them?"
"I remember everything about you," he tells her. And it's the truth.
Cleo walks closer to the arrangement. She touches the flowers and picks one up. "And what's this for?"
"It's for..." Harry clears his throat. "You."
"Why?"
"Why don't you look at the books in the middle?"
Cleo does as told. "These are all my favourite books. Well not all of them, I didn't really enjoy that and that—"
"Cleo. Pay attention to the initials of the books."
"Why?" She asks. Harry gives her a pleading look. "Okay, okay."
While Cleo has her focus on the books, Harry takes a deep breath and takes the box out. As quietly as he possibly could, he lowers himself to the floor and gets on one knee. Running his tongue across his lower lip, he rehearses the words one more time in his head.
"Will," Cleo says out loud once she's figured out the first word. Then: "you." And when she gets to the third word, "marry", Harry can tell she's already figured everything out.
But still, when she turns around and finds Harry on his knee, the look on her face is one that will forever be ingrained in his memory.
"Harry."
"Cleo."
"Harry, I'm so confused."
"Cleo," he tries again. "If you know how many times I've rehearsed these lines, you're never going to let it go. You'll taunt me and laugh at me and you'll probably even tell our families about it, and that's what I love about you. I love how you're an absolute pain in the arse."
Cleo shakes her head, laughing. She's probably going to deny it if he points it out but he's pretty sure she has tears in her eyes.
"I love how you always roll your eyes at me when I do or say something cheesy. I love how extra kind you are to me when I'm sick. I love how you're always one step ahead of me, I mean, you didn't even get to "me" before you figured out that I was proposing."
Cleo shoots him a guilty look. "I'm sorry."
Harry waves that off with his free hand. "And most importantly, I love you, Cleo. I love you so much. You've made me the happiest person on earth and I can't imagine spending the rest of my life with anyone else. You're it for me, Cleo Ward."
"And you're it for me too," she whispers under her breath.
"If you'd let me, I want to keep annoying you, making you smile and laugh and roll your eyes," Harry breathes. "Cleo Ward, will you—"
"Yes," she says. "Wait, finish the question."
Harry smiles. "Cleo Ward, will you marry me?"
"Yes," she nods as she reaches for him. Harry can feel his heart expand in his chest as he takes the ring out of the box. "I will marry the hell out of you, Harry Styles."
Laughing, Harry slides the ring onto Cleo's finger. It fits her perfectly and just as expected, the ring looks beautiful on her.
"Come up here," Cleo says.
Harry doesn't need to be told twice. He gets up to his feet and Cleo crushes his lips with hers.
"God, I love you so much," she tells him. "I can't believe you did all this."
"Adam helped."
"And I can't believe you managed to keep this from me."
"I know," Harry chuckles. "I kept getting nightmares that you'd find out about this."
"That explains why you kept tossing and turning in your sleep."
"I wanted this to be perfect."
Cleo cups his face with her small hands. Looking into his eyes, she smiles and says, "It is."
Harry leans forward and captures her lips for another kiss, pouring all of his emotions into the kiss. And when he pulls away, Cleo rests her hand against his chest, her eyes fixed on the ring.
"It's so beautiful," she says. "I feel like I don't deserve this."
"Don't be ridiculous."
Cleo looks up. "No, really, I feel like I'm not worthy of this ring."
This time, Harry's the one rolling his eyes at her. "Cleo, the ring is made for you."
Cleo gazes at the ring once again. "It does look like it."
"Just like how I'm made for you."
"Oh God," Cleo bursts out laughing. "That's so..."
Harry joins in on the laughter. "I know," he replies. "But hey, you didn't roll your eyes at me."
"Only because you've just made me the happiest woman on earth." Looping her arms around his neck, she adds, "And don't let it get to your head, you've also made me the luckiest woman ever."
"Already gotten to my head," he responds, wrapping his arms around her waist. When Cleo rests her cheek on his chest, he presses a kiss on top of her head. "So we're really doing this?"
"Mhmm," Cleo hums. "You're stuck with me, Styles."
"All part of my plan."

look i know ppl hate melanie especially for the scene where jon comes back from his coma but. you really have to remember what she *had* and *was* going thru. firstly, shes had a lot of experience with the stranger- her first appearence was her statement on sarah baldwin, who was taken by the anglerfish we hear about in mag 1, which as we see in the statement, impacted her psyche and her career as well- it was kind of the tipping point for a lot of things in her life. the ending of ghost hunt uk, her endless researching, which then lead to the ghost bullet. plus, her being the only one to remember sasha (which must be a *big* trauma, i mean the not-them is one of the scariest things, imagine going thru that, especially when no one believes you.) and i think she was valid to be wary of jon. i mean, a whole ass building fell on this little scrawny, malnourished manlet twink and hes *still alive.* on the surface, thats some stranger shit right there! especially because *HE WAS COMING OUT OF THE STRANGER RITUAL.* it’s so obvious that melanie thinks jon is taken by the stranger- she says this to jon upon his first appearance back from the coma- “Something has been in hospital. Something that’s got your face, like – I warned Basira; I said not to let you back in here (MAG 123, Web Development)...” and i never see anyone mention that. additionally, she was also being heavily, *heavily* influenced by the slaughter, which was taking advantage of her and her anger, which caused most if not all of her behaviors in season 3 and season 4, up until jon and basira perform her surgery in season 4. now, on the other hand, i’m not at all excusing melanie for telling jon that he caused tim and daisys deaths but we just have to keep in mind what she was going thru at the time. thank you for coming to my tedtalk

The four witches of Greenheaven
Despite the different personalities they have the strongest bond and together protect Greenheaven and its inhabitants.
Cassandra, the nocturnal witch
Always saying they want to be alone but actually enjoys spending time with friends, deathly loyal, mind over heart because cannot afford to hurt again, cold but fragile like glass, empathic but this doesn't mean they care, complains when their friends come visit but secretly enjoys it, damaged, but because of that even more beautiful, quiet whispers and sarcasm, helps out lost ghosts in exchange for interesting stories, dresses and clothes from another time, black humor and sharp remarks, in love with Shakespeare
Tumblr media
Aesthetic: dried up roses and specks of dust floating in the morning light, old abandoned houses frozen in time, the howling of the wolves at the moon, trembling candles and silver rings, dragon breath and foggy November mornings, black tea with rose blossoms, faded photographs and the echo of  clock chimes, lace cuffs and black cardigans, dramatic black witchy hats, poetry books worn out from use, biting their lip until it bleeds
Song: ilomilo by Billie Eilish
Miranda, the celestial witch
Always with their head in the clouds, curious, easily bored and easily distracted, prefers willful ignorance over harsh reality, dreamer, always fascinated by the most simple things, sees entire worlds and deep meanings where nobody else would, charismatic, forgetful and a bit clumsy, the one people come for advice, 'yes, but what if...', keeps a journal, driven by curiosity, spends hours talking with the elves, has the oddest sleeping schedules, fascinated by humankind
Tumblr media
Aesthetic: dangling earrings with the sun and the moon, earl grey tea and milk, dusty shelves full of old books, libraries and soft whispers, bright eyes sparkled alive by curiosity, bronze rimmed dresses, reading by the fire on rainy autumn days, steam and the sound of quill writing on paper, fairylights, stars painted on the ceiling, dew on a spiderweb on a early morning, messy handwriting, pocket watches and old coins
Song: Moonsea by Phidel
Ophelia, the green witch
Likes to take long walks in the woods, talks to faes and animals, calls their plants 'my lovelies' and sings to them everyday, lives in a cabin in the woods, keeps what they find in the forest in the large pockets of their old coat, determinated, has befriended the fox family that lives near their house, has more animal friends than you could count, never following the path, a caring soul, doesn't like humans, grow their own herbs and veggies, has a soft spot for animals, the kindest if you don't step on their flowers, eccentric in the most interesting way, prefers the company of animals and magical beings (less drama)

Aesthetic: the fresh smell of grass in the morning, the shine of the sunrays glistening on the dew at sunrise, dried up herbs, daisies flower crowns and nuts, wild berries and fingerless gloves, green tea and the comforting purrs of a cat, wild hair and freckles, strawberries and water color paint, long patient sighs, iced almond milk, stained glass windows, knowing glances,

Glinda, the kitchen witch
Loves sunlight, a literal ball of pure sunshine, they protect, the mum friend™️, empathetic, always knows how to handle things, optimist, talks to house spirits and gives freshly baked pastries to the neighbor family of gnomes, loves their friends more than anything, always knows how to make people smile and comfortable, laugh with their whole body, the scariest when angry, they are there when you need them, their eyes sparkle with affection, adamant but gentle, dances with pixies

Aesthetic: golden hour, blanket forts, loud laugh and contagious smiles, warm in the most reassuring way, old yellow sweaters and flour stained jeans, singing aloud and dancing around, 'WHAT do you mean you can't remember the last time you've EATEN ?!?!!!!',  caramel and toffee, the warmth of sunrays on your face, the smell of baked croissants in the morning, dandelions and buttercups, Chai tea and ginger biscuits

┬┴┬┴┤・ω・)ノ Hey!
Sorry, but just a small note (≧▽≦)
Aside from the names and the titles (I got inspired from them so I decided to leave them like that), the character descriptions and aesthetics are all in gender neutral pronouns because I don't want anyone to be offended nor left out 💜
Hope you enjoy!

SOS Update
An update on this delightful situation from the other day. Rant warning. Strong language. Read at your own risk.
Massive, massive thanks to @hedwigstalons, @mrseviltedi, @scarlett3drag0n, @willow-salix, @inertplanetary, @eirabach, @hodgehegposts, @janetm74, @bonsaiiiiiii, @5hadow-alpha, @ak47stylegirl, @psychoseal, @lunalittlemiss, @vegetacide, @dragonoffantasyandreality, @neuroticphysiologist, @weathergirl8 and @rachfielden-xo for all the support and concern. You guys were heroes in my hour of need and for that, I am so grateful. Love you all 💛
So...after hanging up from possibly one of the scariest phone calls I’ve ever received (to date), I did what any normal, rational human would do and went to liaise with the one (repeat, one) other colleague I had with me in the office that day (we’ll call her Pansy). Management were all on holiday or off for the day, what with it being a Sunday and all...
Side-note: The offender who prompted me to issue my SOS post shall henceforth be referred to as Bastard.
Upon learning that Bastard™ was inbound (eighty minutes and counting), Pansy proceeded to freak the fuck out and suggested we grab our things and clock out before he arrived. I’d already cleared my shit tonne of jobs for the day, however didn’t want either of us getting behind the wheel in such panicked states, so suggested we stay put until we calmed down a bit. She agreed.
Unfortunately, after twenty minutes and three cups of tea, we managed to convince ourselves that that Bastard™ was full of hot air and probably wouldn’t show up. CCTV footage showed him leaving with the coat under his arm last Saturday. This relieved Pansy, but unnerved me. If he did decide to show up, I knew he wouldn’t leave peacefully after driving for over an hour, regardless of the evidence we had against him.
Knowing that Bastard™ definitely hadn’t left his four-month-mortgage-payment coat with us did soothe me enough to convince me to stay put, however. Pansy has an A+ sense of humour and I’m well versed in the art of placating from my years of teaching. We agreed that together, we could probably extinguish him and boot him out the door with our four inch heels before things got ugly.
Twenty minutes before Bastard™’s ETA , I return from getting a drink to find a post-it stuck to my desk. Pansy had just ‘popped’ over to the neighbouring building (which is a five minute walk away) to grab some cash flow documents she was missing. She’d left her phone behind, so I couldn’t call her, and left me as the sole remaining occupant of the building, meaning I couldn’t leave to chase after her and wring her neck.
Cue an anxiety flare up and my SOS post.
Thunderfam, you guys were all so amazing. Within minutes I had several supportive comments and messages with suggestions of what I could do to retake control of the situation. I locked all the doors, re-routed all the cameras so they were all staring at the door and my desk, wedged the fire door open in case I needed an escape route (I was the only person in the building, so this wasn’t a breach of fire safety) and had 101 ready to dial on my phone should Bastard™ arrive and make good on his promise.
Shortly afterwards, Bastard™ swings into the car park in a tsunami of gravel.
Pansy still absent.
Two minutes later, a woman taps on the window and motions for me to unlock the door. She’s smiling and seems pleasant enough, so I let her in (then re-lock the door so fucking fast I nearly shave my nose off).
Cue Bastard™‘s wife.
She spends several minutes apologising profusely for Bastard™‘s behaviour and assures me that he ‘sounds worse than he actually is’. I show her the CCTV images, then try to passively shoo her out the door. Apparently, I’m crap at passive shooing, because she stays put and tries to strike up a conversation about the orchid on my fucking desk.
Bastard™ then starts banging on the door. Wife must have seen the look on my face and begins frantically explaining about how he’s ‘all bark, no bite’. As a literal innocent bystander, I had no desire to fend off either (and told her as such).
Bastard™ then rings Wife and demands that she unlock the door to let him in. Wife looks at me and assures me that he’s harmless. Meanwhile, I’ve got one foot out the fire exit and am seriously contemplating whether I’m going to have to fucking weaponise my version of Gladys.
Bastard™ enters, takes one look at me and, for some reason, decides I’m not worth bothering with. Maybe it’s because I’m clutching my phone. Maybe it’s because my ass is already halfway out the door. Maybe it’s because I look so shit scared he realises that I have bigger things to worry about than a lost coat that, quite frankly, I don’t give a flying fuck about.
So he turns on Wife instead.
After ten minutes of yelling, gesticulating and slamming every damn object in a ten foot radius, Bastard™ demands that I show him the CCTV footage. I’m in the middle of a full blown panic overload and have lost the ability to think clearly, so don’t answer. Wife intervenes and redirects his attention back onto her, and receives another tongue-lashing for her trouble.
Loud, aggressive voices are triggers for me, so having to unwillingly spectate this domestic dispute was awful. I pretty much freeze up when panicked (both mentally and physically), which complicates the process of getting myself away from such altercations.
Eventually, Wife suggests they go and check another location Bastard™ visited the same day he misplaced his hideously overpriced (and ugly as shit) coat. She apologises to me (and to him for some strange reason) and retreats back outside to the car. Bastard™ announces his departure with a skin-peeling glare at me and a door slam that nearly made Gladys jump to her death.
Did I mention that he wasn’t even wearing a mask...?
I pretty much wilted as soon as their car disappeared out of sight. The whole incident shook me up real bad and I was jittery for the rest of the afternoon and evening.
What disturbed me most of all was the way his wife acted around him. I got seriously bad vibes from the whole situation and hope I don’t have to deal with anything similar ever again. No one was hurt in any way and things could have been much worse, but man, it was still scary...
Just seen how long this post is...whoopsie-daisy...😳
Thank you again, Thunderfam. I don’t know what I’d do without you guys sometimes 💛 *tackle hugs you all* 💛
P.S. Staring at all the gorgeous Gordon you guys sent me helped tonnes btw *gives the boi a noogie* 💛

❝You are the only one who really understands me, so please—don’t go.❞ Dewey webby Delong with issues of webby leaving with Louie growing up and married and Dewey having issues and separation problems and aaahgavckfmgkf
Webby knew Louie was out of his damn mind when he swore that he’d be able to fix the whole Dewey being drunk out of his mind with Dante, Huey being anxious, and whatever spat Della and Daisy had gotten themselves into all before the rehearsal dinner started, but Webby did nothing to stop him. She was honestly quite interested in just how he would attempt it all, and just how spectacularly it would fail. That was why, despite her granny’s concern, she let Louie to it.
However, her concern started to edge her when the dinner was starting in five minutes and there wasn’t a sign of Louie, Dewey, Dante, or Daisy anywhere. She figured Louie would probably try to fix everything last minute, as was often a technique of his (though weaker than his others). Sighing, she told Lena she’d be back in a moment and went to search for her fiancée.
However, when she heard a loud thud, she was diverted from her path and rushed to assist whoever had fallen. To her surprise, it was Dewey, who didn’t appear even the slightest bit soberer than before. Whatever Louie had attempted, it didn’t work.
“Dewey, are you okay? Why are you alone? Where’s Dante?” Webby asked, looking up and down the empty hallway.
“Gone,” Dewey mumbled, his breath reeking of alcohol.
“Are you okay? You totally fell,” Webby asked, looking him up and down to check for any possible injuries.
“Head’s fine. Made of solid rock,” Dewey grinned cheekily, knocking on his head a few times.
“You’re coming with me mister,” Webby rolled her eyes at his slurred speech, wrapping an arm around him and helping him up, taking him to the kitchen.
“Where we goin’ Websssss?” Dewey asked. “Party’s thata way.”
“We are going to sober you up for Louie because he clearly doesn’t know how to do this,” Webby snarked.
“True dat,” Dewey nodded.
“So where’s Dante if you’re alone?” Webby asked again.
“Dante’s... Dante’s... mm...” Dewey tried to think but couldn’t come to a conclusion. “Dewster’s all alone tonight.”
“Did he say that? Why?” Webby raised an eyebrow. She knew Dante, he was better than just abandoning Dewey like that.
“Dewster’s aloneee tonight baby, no reason other than my brain,” He answered. Unfortunately, that did nothing to clarify the situation.
“What about Huey? Louie said he was going to sober you,” Webby questioned.
“Dante an’ Hubert got in a squabble,” Dewey shrugged.
“Well he better show up soon if this doesn’t work,” Webby sighed.
“What we gon’ try?” Dewey asked.
“That’s a surprise,” Webby said, so Dewey wouldn’t run away. It was going to be the tried and true method of dunking his head in ice-cold water until he could stand on his own.
“Alllll by myseeeeEeelffffffff,” Dewey had begun to drunkenly sing to himself, as was his habit. No matter what situation they were in, if Dewey was drunk, he was singing somehow.
“Dewey, you aren’t by yourself, I’m here,” Webby rolled her eyes.
“Not for long,” he muttered. This caused Webby to stop.
“What do you mean by that?” Webby frowned.
“I mean...” Dewey’s face flushed and he looked to the ground. It seemed for a moment he would answer when suddenly vomited on a fake tree in the hall. Webby sighed.
“We need to get you to the kitchen. I’m sure you can explain there,” She sighed and practically carried him to the kitchen, and he luckily didn’t vomit after that.
Eventually, they reached the kitchen and Webby made her request for a big bucket of ice water, and the sobering began. She had to dunk his face in a total of five times before he demanded she stop and she knew he came back to his senses.
“Tell me what happened,” Webby sat Dewey down and crossed her arms.
“What do you mean?” Dewey rubbed the back of his neck.
“Where’s Huey or Dante? How did you end up alone and wandering the halls of the hotel?” She clarified.
“Right. That,” Dewey sighed. “Huey found me with Dante, Dante got snappy at Huey, Huey got snappy back, Dante left angry, Huey tried to get me to come back to save his ass so he wouldn’t have to give his speech, I got mad for him getting mad at Dante and stormed off, telling him not to follow,” he explained.
“How long were you wandering around? And how did Huey lose track of you?” Webby raised an eyebrow.
“I don’t know everything, okay? It’s foggy,” he shrugged. Webby nodded slowly.
“I see,” She said. “What about all that alone talk? When I said you aren’t alone you said ‘not for long’. What do you mean?”
Dewey went silent for a moment.
“Webby... I-i feel like you’re the only one who understands me...”
“Dewey, you promised-”
“I know what I promised,” he closed his eyes. “But...”
“Dewey, I know what you want to say but you cannot do this to me. The wedding is tomorrow, you cannot do this to me,” Webby looked away.
“I wasn’t going to say any of that, I would never do that to you or Louie,” Dewey clarified sharply. Webby took in a deep breath and let him continue.
“What I meant is... you’re my best friend. Huey’s off in college with a fancy girlfriend, Louie’s getting married, Lena has a girlfriend, heck, even Violet of all people has a girlfriend, meanwhile... I feel like I’m all alone,” he slumped. “I feel like once you get married I’m just going to be... alone; that you won’t want to hang out with me anymore...”
“Lena isn’t dating anyone,” Webby suggested softly.
“She doesn’t count,” Dewey rolled his eyes. “You know what I mean.”
“I know, I’m sorry...” she sighed.
“Dewey, you’re a very good friend to me too. Trust me when I say, I don’t want to lose this friendship either. I care a lot about you, and I won’t leave you. I promise you’ll never be alone. Plus, you have Dante right?” She put a hand on his shoulder. He nodded.
“I do,” he sniffled.
“C’mon dummy, we need to get to the dinner. We’re already late,” Webby punched him in the shoulder, to which he winced and they left back to the dining hall.
In all honesty, when Webby walked into the dining hall she half-expected everything to be on fire and a huge disaster, with Louie trying to fix it all in the middle. Instead, she was greeted by Louie with the smuggest and calmest face she’s ever seen in her life.
“Well, well, well... look who’s late,” he grinned.
“Har har. You didn’t sober Dewey, so you didn’t win,” Webby pointed out. Louie rolled his eyes.
“Well, I did everything else, including showing up on time, soooooooooo...” He winked.
“I get your hoodie for one month,” Webby rolled her eyes. Louie accepted this, holding out his arm for her, which she accepted and all of them took their seats.
After that, everything seemed to go on without a hitch. Webby looked around the room and saw Daisy and Della were getting along just fine, leaving Donald much happier and more comfortable than before, Huey being relaxed and talking to Violet about things, and Launchpad was having a nice conversation with the person whose car he crashed into. In short, all was well. Webby was genuinely surprised. Then again, she had always known Louie for having a way with words and people.
However, when Dewey began to hit his fork against his champagne glass (which wasn’t missing a single drop), Webby began to worry about what it was he was going to say.
“Ladies, gentlemen, and other honored guests, let me be the first to toast to my brother and my best friend’s soon to be marriage,” he raised his glass.
“I’ve known my little brother my whole life, minus forty-five minutes, and let me tell you he is quite the character. He’s selfish, lazy, and yet somehow the most caring and loving person I know. His schemes may get him in trouble a lot, but hey, I know they’ve saved my butt on multiple occasions,” he joked, which made the whole room laugh.
“Without him, I’m sure everyone in this room would probably have found themselves in a bit more trouble than they are right now,” he said, to which several people nodded in agreement.
“Now, Webby is fierce, sweet, and one of the kindest and yet also one of the scariest people I’ve also ever met,” he looked at her. “I couldn’t imagine someone better for my little punk of a brother.”
“So I raise a glass to their soon to be unity. Here’s to Louie and Webby; may their marriage be happy, may it be lengthy, and may it be filled with laughter and good times.” He raised his glass and everyone cheered and drank as he sat back down.
“That wasn’t terrible Dewey,” Louie elbowed his brother and laughed.
“I try,” Dewey rolled his eyes and smiled as he took a sip of his water.
“I thought it was very thoughtful. He doesn’t have your way with words but it was from the heart, be nice,” Webby elbowed Louie.
“He’s my brother, I have my rights,” Louie teased further. Webby chuckled and rolled her eyes.
“Thanks,” Dewey said to her.
“No problem,” She gave him a short and sweet smile and the night continued.
After the toast, everything continued normally, and without a hitch (unless you were Huey, Violet and Lena though, as they still had their bets going on, which they all took quite seriously). The dinner ended, and soon everyone headed off to their room to prepare for what tomorrow held.
However, just as Webby was going to kiss Louie goodnight before he would disappear until the wedding, a certain uninvited someone burst through the door of the hotel and checked in out of nowhere. Once Webby caught word of it, she and Louie went down to the front desk to see who on earth would check into a wedding like that, and the night before of all times.
However, the moment the figure opened their mouth a lot of those questions answered themselves.
“Hello there Sharpy, happy to see me?”
Goldie.

A matchup?
I have medium raven black hair brown eyes and my skin is on the brownish side, im asian and i have a sibling i care for, i like writing and drawing, i would mostly talk to voices in my mind, i like to think im an introvert but i guess im an extrovert but im in the middle of both, im docile enough but i can get real hostile, i would have that big sister aura but still caring and i curse like a sailor
After thinking for a little bit, I decided to give you Daisy (Asylumtale Alphys)! Here are a few reasons why. First of all, the fact that you are caring would make her feel comfortable around you, making her be able to be more open with you. She would probably care about you a lot too, especially if you would show signs of needing any sort of help. She’s a very docile person too, who enjoys being around other docile people too, so you two would get along. And of course,  if you are an introvert, that would be even better for her, because she is an introvert too and she shouldn’t worry about you going around. Here are a few more specific headcanons:
A . How would she show her love and affection? How intense would it get? - Daisy would be a very shy person, that’s why she would probably have a hard time showing her affection for you for the longest time until she would figure out what is comfortable with both of you and what is not. It would take some time, but she would start getting more affectionate. Her touches would last longer, her kisses would be more passionate, and of course, she would start telling you more often how much she loves you.
B. What type of future is she planning with her lover? - Well, she always dreamed of moving up to the mountains, or maybe living by the lake. Would you be interested in something like that? Being somewhere far away, along with her, for the rest of eternity? wouldn’t that be absolutely perfect? That’s what she would want for you two.
C. What is the scariest moment with her? - The way she can manipulate people, that’s the scariest thing. You realized how many dangerous people she could use to hurt you the moment she made Delta attack someone that was talking to you, almost killing the person. Both of them acted like nothing happened, but you know that Daisy has very dangerous people around her and she knows how to use them.
D. How does she usually act with her lover? - Daisy is usually very shy while around you. Always with a cute blush on her face, ready to agree to do anything that you would want to do. She would probably do most of the things around the house, just wanting to get praised by you, and loving any sort of affection that you would give her.
E. How would she court her lover before? - Honestly, she wouldn’t do that. She would probably get Delta to come over to you, befriend you and then introduce you two because she would be too awkward to really do anything on her own. After that, she would get more comfortable, of course, and she would start doing a lot of things on her own, but the start was rough.
F. What type of affection does she give? - It’s usually depending on what you need. She’s a therapist and her main priority as a mental health expert and your lover, is to give you everything you ever desired of. She would be willing to even go out of her comfort zone to please any needs that you might have.
G. What sort of kinks would she ask to try out with you? - She’s actually very sexual. If you don’t want to have sex with her, that’s fine, she’ll use some of her toys, but she does have quite a few kinks here and there.
1. Phonesex - She loves it. There is no way around it. She loves to hear your voice, telling her what she should do, or even her having to be told what she has to do. It gets her excited and ready to do anything you want when you come back home.
2. Masturbating - Honestly, even if you aren’t in the mood, she can easily take care of herself. But what she likes the most, is watching someone else masturbating, that’s why it wouldn’t be a surprise if she would peep on you when you are having a private moment.
3. Sexting - Sending photos, receiving photos, and many similar things, that’s what she loves and what she will keep doing. She loves her body and she hopes that you love it too because she will keep sending pictures of her body, without a stop.

Mario Thread Opinions
I saw something making rounds on Twitter featuring Mario characters, so, I wanted to respond to that, but without flooding the timeline.
So, I’ll put them here instead! ...And I’ll try to keep thoughts short...
Tumblr media
... ... ...
Original Tweeted Characters
Mario: He’s such a cheerful and happy protagonist! I don’t get why people ever have strong dislikes for him. He’s full of energy and normally kindness. Maybe they think that’s bland, but I’ve been following Mario’s journeys since I was very young, so he’ll always be a great protagonist for me.
Toadette: She’s so energetic and sweet! She’s come such a long way since her debut from Mario Kart: Double Dash, and currently, Toadette seems to be a regular mainstay for the franchise. You’re doing amazing, sweetie! Keep going!
Dry Bones: One of the cutest zombies and/or reanimated dead characters that I can think of. While a tricky enemy to handle, I still enjoy seeing them. Plus, they’re welcome additions to spin-off games like almost always!
Shy Guy: The beeeeest! Shy Guy is the cutest little enemy, and I love how they get included into various roles as either friend or foe. I think I’m always happy to see Shy Guy around in some way!
Pink Gold Peach: Peach deserves a cool power-up form! While I wish she had it outside of spin-off titles, I think it’s a cute concept regardless. (Though, I get the disappointment when she shows up.) People mention “rose gold” as a title instead, and I think I agree with that, but also, alliteration.
Peachette: (deep, heavy sigh) You could have been so fun conceptually...the potential for future uses that could be dramatic with bait-and-switches for Peach. But...marred by Internet memes...also, not a fan that Toadette gets replaced on-screen by Peach in the first place, so, yeah.
King Boo: This dude has so many change-ups in how he appears. I kind of love him as both a Mario enemy and a Luigi’s Mansion main boss. He makes a good adversary for Luigi, so, I hope he sticks around to spook the cast! Love his laugh too, lol.
Daisy: She deserves so much love and attention, and I don’t understand why the developers at Nintendo have kept her locked behind spin-off titles for so long. I feel like that could change going forward, so I’m hoping that she becomes even more awesome and help save the day in future adventures!
Peach: Arguably the most iconic damsel in modern media, though I wish we could let her evolve past that. Peach is strong in her own right, so let’s see her headline a franchise and save the day herself! She doesn’t get opportunity to do that enough. She can be more than just Mario’s plot device. Anyway, she’s great, and I wish she would get more respect from Nintendo. She could make the Disney princesses shudder if given the chance.
Yoshi: Quite possibly the cutest steed known to pop culture! He’s so sweet and precious, like, I feel as though no one can help but love Yoshi. Anytime he pops in and the moment immediately improves!
Luigi: As a younger sibling myself, I totally can relate to Luigi easily. He’s the best deuteragonist that Mario could ask for! His fans can sometimes be a little much, but I can understand the enthusiasm! Luigi’s a good boy. Nintendo should dunk on him less though; he’s proven well enough.
Hammer Bro: Bah, an enemy that always keeps me wary! Probably one of the biggest common enemies that is practically guaranteed to be at least a light challenge. As they appear in more spin-off games, I like their energy and excitement more. They’re fun dudes!
The Koopalings: No clue how they were kept dormant for so many years, because they provide so much flavor to the series! Then again, it’s painful to see any of them separated from one another, and including seven characters can be a challenge. Overall, I love them, and they make great opponents and even additions to rosters! Best generals, I think.
Kamek: I know that the name isn’t supposed to be significant, but he ended up being so. And I really wish we would get a version of Kamek that stands out from the other Magikoopa! His role seems too important to be neglected as often as it can be. Definitely the coolest standalone enemy on Bowser’s minion roster, and I hope they keep helping this one stand out more in the future!
Waluigi: He’s pretty funny, and he can sucker a few laughs out of me time and again. I think that he’s underrated by the Mario franchise itself, and that he should appear more often or join Wario for his franchise. His loudest fans are definitely a bit too rambunctious. Still, he’s been around for 20 years, and I do agree that he probably deserves better.
Rosalina: Definitely a cool character that I really hope we keep in rotation. She should be used for more than just spin-off shenanigans without question, so I hope that we see her more as time goes on. (She almost joined Odyssey in a cool appearance!) Anyway, I love her motherly and calm yet elegant nature, and the lore that she gave to Super Mario Galaxy as well. Luma princess!
Bowser: As Mario is one of my favorite protagonists, Bowser would be one of my favorite antagonists! Though, I do wish he’d get a break. He’s a fun character without always being evil. We should give other villains a chance to go crazy and let Bowser do something else, either helping Mario or just living life without being the big bad. He’s sometimes more interesting being just a dad above all else!
Piranha Plant: Plant gang rise up! Not going to lie, one of the most iconic Mario enemies to appear, and yet, I feel like they’ve been slept on until their recent inclusions in games as playable characters, most especially in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Great surprise trap enemies too. Overall, love these chompy dudes! ...Except when they chomp me, that is, ha!
Metal Mario: Probably one of Mario’s coolest power-up forms! He’s appeared in several spin-offs as a playable character, starting with Mario Golf for the N64, if I’m not mistaken. While I prefer him as a power-up, he’s a fun concept to see turn up every so often.
Whomp King: An iconic opponent in Super Mario 64, and one that I’m surprised to see turn up every so often! Yet, I’m also surprised that we don’t see him more often as well. It’s odd, but then again, Whomps can be underutilized. I like him though!
Wario: Greedy guy supreme! Wario is perhaps the grossest Mario character, but also one of the funniest. He’s usually a welcome addition to the rosters that he joins, so, I like to see him around too. His laugh is hilarious and definitely one of the more recognizable out there!
Dry Bowser: Bowser’s reanimated corpse! Originally a cool concept and perhaps even a surprising one! Since I like Dry Bones, I tend to like this dude, even when he’s not exactly Bowser himself sometimes, since that happens. Either way, cool and creepy, so totally a unique flavor!
Pom Pom: Honestly, not an addition that I ever expected, but totally welcomed alongside Boom Boom’s return to the franchise. I love her shuriken attacks and ninja theme, because I’m a sucker for that. And more female creature features are always welcome to roster! Not every lady needs to be a princess, after all.
King Bob-omb: I love him! He’s arguably my favorite boss from Super Mario 64, and I’m so happy that he’s been popping up more frequently. He’s finally playable for the first time in Mario Kart: Tour, so I hope he appears as such in future titles! His mustache deserves greatness!
Toad: I have literally always had a huge soft-spot for the Mushroom Kingdom citizens. Also, I feel like Toad should be recognized as an individual as much as Yoshi is! He’s cheerful, helpful, sweet, and usually so helpful! Plus, I totally crush it when I use him in Mario Kart, lol. One of my favorites as well, and I consider him as part of the core cast!
Bob-omb: Who knew living explosives could be so...cute? I can’t deny that I delight in seeing them, even though they usually terrorize me whenever they’re around. Totally love to see them included, as they’re great inclusions.
Boo: Spooky time! I love seeing Boo, they’re fun. Also, horrifying to face off against, since they’re not usually the easiest to defeat. They’re cute though, and I love to listen to their cackles and trills! Also wonderful inclusions, both in the main Super Mario games and hilariously so in Luigi’s Mansion. (I love their titles and names in those games!)
Bowser Jr.: While his existence should raise questions, mostly concerning how, I tend to hand wave that as easily as Nintendo does. I love that Bowser has a bratty kid, it’s so entertaining to me! And it’s precious, because I really enjoy seeing Bowser having a soft spot for his son. Junior himself is enjoyable to see too, because he’s a pint-sized enemy with lots of personality!
Pauline: That’s my girl! That’s my girl right there, whoo! I’m so deliriously happy that she’s returned in the greatest form, from nameless damsel to major city mayor! And now she’s regularly included for Mario franchise casts by the fans and the developers. She deserves it, and I hope we continue to see Pauline appear all the time in the future! Get it, One-Up Girl!
Baby Daisy: A cute baby bean, and a logical companion for Baby Peach! Not usually a character that I favor, but I don’t mind her. The scariest kiddo on the racetrack, that I’ve learned.
Petey Piranha: It makes sense that the Piranha Plants have a boss leader, since Bowser is that for the Koopas, and then we have such for Bob-ombs, Whomps, Boos, and the others. Anyway, the sludge stuff is gross, but I do love to see Petey! He’s actually sort of cute with his little utters of “yay!” in spin-offs. Plus, he’s usually a fun flavor of boss to battle!
Lakitu: Honestly, I forget that these dudes are supposed to be bad guys; they’re usually so friendly and helpful! And I think I prefer them that way overall. But, they do make challenging opponents when they’re not helpers, so that is fun to see from time to time. Totally a great mainstay to the roster either way!
Baby Rosalina: Like, I do get the idea of her, but at the same time, she’s more or less a walking contradiction, more than Bowser Jr. or the other babies by far. She is cute though, and I guess we’re not meant to think about it.
Koopa Troopa: Basically Bowser’s equivalent to Toad, and I don’t think that’s a comparison that’s addressed often enough. Like, they’d be great to make Bowser’s forces more sympathetic. Anyway, I like them as enemies, though I tend to see them as helpers fairly often too, since that’s how they’ve appeared over the years. Totally a great mainstay!
Boomerang Bro: As if their hammer throwing cousins weren’t bad enough, we get these dudes to battle from time to time. They’re tricky but cool variations on classic opponents. And I think I enjoy seeing them when we have big cast herds for the spin-off Mario titles.
Bullet Bill: Fear. These guys just come flying out of cannons and my instinct just shifts into fight-or-flight. I love them appearing, but I’m always wary of the challenges they normally present. Also, similar to Bob-omb with the whole, “who knew living artillery could be cute?” Because I know it’s Mario, but geez.
Baby Luigi: The baby bro! He’s a fun alternate option for Baby Mario to rescue, and cute to see included from time to time in spin-off titles. Though, I think his best appearance was Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time.
Banzai Bill: The developers went, “Hey, know what’s scary than a big bullet chasing you down? How about a MEGA DEATH BULLET that destroys everything in its wake? Let’s even give it a creepy slasher-grinning face!” And nobody really questioned that. Utterly horrifying to battle (or just run from), but cool conceptually, so I like the enemy inclusion.
Buzzy Beetle: They’re such lowkey baddies that I actually love. Like, there’s even a sinister hint to them with the glowing red eyes and everything! Totally underrated as opponents, and I enjoy their appearances whenever they’re around.
Baby Mario: The leader of the bunch, and you know him...wait a minute. Anyway, he’s a fun character concept, and I like the idea of exploring characters at different points of their lives! It’s cute to see Mario was thrown into heroics since basically birth, and Baby Mario’s usually entertaining to see around, even though we should really question the lacking moral/ethic decisions of letting babies drive go-karts and playing sports.
Goomba: The number one low-level grunt of all-time! At least, I think so. They’re such fun enemies to see included almost all of the time. It’s fun how they’re normally super easy to fight, but can be surprising challenges in various appearances too. Simple conceptually, yet really diverse in use! Overall, one of the best baddies out there!
Thwomp: Floating death trap extraordinaire! These dudes are utterly terrifying to be anywhere near, most especially under. I tend to remember them for the blocky blue forms used during the N64 era, but I think that’s the less iconic form. Still, they’re great trap enemies for sure, with a great slamming grunt to boot!
Captain Toad: While I’m not entirely sure if he’s meant to be separate from the Toad we know, I treat him that way. Plus, it’s fun to have a light-hearted version of Wario’s treasure hunter role used, and one that actually provides aid to Mario on his adventures! Plus, a hero in his own right. A great character indeed!
Wiggler: Instead of chanting “don’t be suspicious,” it’s “don’t wake the wormy” for me. This crazy caterpillar is full of anxiety inducing moments for sure, but on the cuter side too. Also, shout-out to the Flutter form! Anyway, they make a fun enemy, and it’s fun when they go from passive to aggressive!
Cheep Chomp: I really can’t deny that I’m surprised that this was included for an opinion list. Anyway, bigger and scarier fish enemies are always a good fright to include, so, why not? I like the purple version too.
Baby Peach: The original baby princess, which is weird to mention, given that I never expected more than one to appear or matter. Anyway, she’s a cute companion for Baby Mario and has her own baby princess posse, so...yeah.
Boom Boom: These dudes were always such cool enemies in Super Mario Bros. 3, so I’m really glad they came back into newer games! I love seeing them appear more in spin-offs lately too, they’re entertaining options to shuffle in with the cast now and again. Fun to face off against too; normally easy, but can be tougher too!
Cheep Cheep: Fishy! It’s weird how they can be so cute, and yet they’re so dangerous, since one bite cuts you down to size. But yeah, I like them as basic aquatic enemies!
Blooper: These troublesome dudes...they can chase you, tentacle smack you, and ink you in the face! That last one never used to be a problem in kart racing, but they totally improved over the years. Good enemy. But, also? A really, really cute spin-off character! I kind of love seeing them appear in other titles as playable characters. Especially in Mario Tennis Aces. Their voices are so cute!
Whomp: Really weird to see them included so far from their king. But anyway! Cool enemies, totally underrated compared to their Thwomp cousins, and I like to see them turn up now and again. They make fun guards, most commonly utilized in the Mario Party series. They’re fun enemies and deserve more love!
Additional Characters That I Like Too
Birdo: The disrespect at people never including my girl...shameful! Anyway, I love Birdo a lot. She’s pretty cute and should totally be included way more often than she is. And she pairs so nicely with Yoshi, that’s so perfect! Plus, she’s probably the earliest trans character that I was ever introduced to, and/or consciously aware of. Anyway, I love her, so there.
Toadsworth: Why does he get so neglected over the years? I thought he was a great inclusion for Peach’s staff, and yet, he’s diminishing so frequently over the years for some reason. Anyway, he was a very entertaining character, made a great equivalent to Kamek, and I wish he’d be used more frequently.
Donkey Kong: Not going to lie, I tend to not include him in Mario cast calls a lot too, since he just feels comparatively detached to other characters. That’s so weird for someone that basically helped kick off Nintendo’s main franchise. Anyway, I love him a lot, even if I don’t show it much. He’s a cool kong, and doesn’t need to be the king to prove it!
Chain Chomp: The bark and chain rattle of sheer terror. I love these guys though! They’re so cute! And dangerous. But cute! Whether being used as a baby’s weapon of mass destruction in racing, or as another avid tennis player, Chain Chomps are just delightful to have around.
Wart: Yeah, not really expected to be included. But, I like Wart from Super Mario Bros. 2, and he’s basically my new character to campaign for since Pauline made it back from the yester-years already. Wart has great potential to be an alternative to Bowser, or even just a fun character to include, so, I hope that we see him come back to the Mario franchise in the future some day!
Nabbit: This pesky thief actually stands out well enough to me, probably because he’s included as a playable pick in the New Super Mario Bros. games from time to time. Anyway, an oddball of sorts, but pretty cute to see pop up from time to time! Maybe he’ll be kept in rotation for future spin-offs...we’ll see!
Monty Mole: Perhaps a more forgettable enemy, but I think they’re entertaining and rather unique ground enemies! Also, I enjoy their Rocky Wrench cousins. But yeah, I felt these dudes deserved a special mention too!
Diddy Kong: Although I typically don’t consider Diddy a Mario character, he’s appeared so often enough that he should be. I like him as Donkey Kong’s go-to partner, and he’s fairly cute too!
Tatanga: Look, if Wart doesn’t work out, then I’m rallying behind Super Mario Land’s Tatanga. Plus, if we get more Daisy, we might as well get an enemy to go along with, or rather against, her. Who better than this little dude? ...Though, I kind of like the bulky version from the comics more. Then again, it’s less expected for a tiny guy to be a main bad guy, so, he’d work either way. Another fun alternate for Bowser, so he can have a break, and Mario gets more enemies!
Fire Bro: I saw the Boomerang Bro and was kind of expecting this dude to show up too. Normally easier to handle than their weapon tossing cousins, at least for me, but they’re challenging enough too. Another fun variation inclusion for big roster herds.
Spike: You know, I recall the Paper Mario version known as Clubba best. But anyway, I like these dudes, and I’m enjoying seeing them appear more often in newer spin-off titles. They’re cute! And they provide strong diversity for Bowser’s usual forces.
Luma: How did we not see these little fellows in the main set? They’re so adorable, I love seeing them all the time now! Definitely one of the coolest races to come from the Mario games, totally fitting for the franchise, and I love seeing them appear basically whenever they do. They’re so cute!
Rex: The retro Super Mario World enemy that’s rather squishy and most commonly forgotten. I think they work nicely as an evil equivalent to Yoshi, at least in appearance. It’s honestly strange that they’re so underrated and underutilized by the franchise; they’re pretty cool!
Ninji: Little ninja-like minions from Super Mario Bros. 2 that appear sparingly across the Mario series. Another enemy that I feel is super underrated and totally has potential for inclusion in spin-off games or just as a more frequent opponent like Rexes should be.
Koopa Paratroopa: Kind of included with Koopa Troopa above, but I like to see Paratroopa distinguished, since they normally tend to be, even among flying enemies. Plus, they’re common inclusions to the Mario spin-off titles, so it’s weird to pass over them. Anyway, I like these winged menaces too!
Professor E. Gadd: Speaking of underused characters and E. Gadd should totally pop up there. I like that he’s a Luigi’s Mansion mainstay, but I miss the days where he was slowly branching out in other titles, perhaps most notably in the Mario & Luigi series, but he’s also the reason that Mario had FLUDD in Super Mario Sunshine! I wonder why he’s not included more frequently; even if not playable, he makes sense just being used in some capacity.
Spiny: Lakitu’s little monsters that rain terror from the skies and onto the ground! Perhaps one of tougher baddies to battle with, but I like to see them, since they’re pretty iconic. Even without being Lakitu’s minions, they’re still plenty tough for Mario to battle against. Plus, they’re kind of cute? We should see a blue variation some day though, so that way we all know who to hammer on for all of those Mario Kart horror stories...
Cappy: Since this is being posted on the 3rd anniversary for Super Mario Odyssey, I’ll give him an additional inclusion. After all, Cappy is probably one of Mario’s best companions for a 3-D Mario title to ever be included, easily surpassing FLUDD and Baby Luma / Co-Star Luma. I hope he’s not left to be forgotten as the years go by, because he had plenty of personality and flavor that really made the adventure even more entertaining, and a great concept to engage with the game play, so, here’s to Cappy!
... ... ...
Phew. Anyway, these are just some thoughts on Mario franchise characters! There sure are a lot of them, huh? Probably too many to count if we really dig through the series, that’s for sure!
That’s all from me though, at least for this. Thank you for reading!

Moth to a Flame - Supernatural Fan Fic - John Winchester and Castiel x OCs
The night was suppose to be a strict girls night. Willow Skye and her best friend, Dana Baker, were going to have a relaxing night in their brand new place in Kansas. It had been torn down and rebuilt two years ago, and it was the lowest priced house within ten miles of their hometown of Lawrence.
Willow didn't know what, but something drew her to the house. It was like a moth to a flame, she didn't understand why, but for the price of the place, she wasn't going to ask questions. Dana moved in with her after their junior year of college started. They were scraping money together to survive alone, so they decided moving in together was going to be a wonderful idea. No more struggling, and they could live together. That was one thing on each other's bucket list, and now they could proudly scratch it off. But Dana didn't like the house. She said it felt ominous. Something was wrong, but she couldn't put her finger on it. Willow, being the ever stubborn optimist, said her friend was being silly. The house was a steal and it was beautiful. But deep down, Willow had the same feelings, but she decided to bury them deep in the back of her mind and enjoy her own home. It was a dreary Friday in October, exam week had finally ended and both girls' heads were spinning. They weren't in the mood to hit up Lawrence's night life. Instead, they were going to grab a couple pizzas, two six packs of smirnoff ice apple, and watch horror movies and play video games. It was the perfect night. They got all the classics, like the nightmare on elm street series, the exorcist, and new favorites like Paranormal Activity. They ordered two large cheese pizzas, and stocked their booze in the fridge. As it hit ten o'clock, they went through their first movie. Terrified, Dana began to beat Willow with a pillow and accuse her of turning out the lights, although she was sitting no more than two feet from her on their leather couch. "Damn it, Dana, quit!" Willow yelped. "You fucking did something to the lights, Pixie!" Dana shrieked. "Oh for the love of God, one bad haircut and I'm stuck with that horrible nickname forever." Willow growled. "Ha! You changed the subject!" Dana said, taking a swig of her smirnoff. "Yeah I did, dumbass, because I'm sitting right here and haven't moved in two and a half hours. Now tell me, how did I fuck with the lights?" "I.. Well.. Oh fuck you." she said with a mouthful of pizza. There was a loud bang from the upstairs bedroom, Willow's bedroom. Willow and Dana looked at each other, growing very pale. Outside the storm was raging and lightening kept cracking every ten seconds. Thunder boomed and made the windows rattle, and rain pounded the window pane with rage. The power went out after the second bang from the upstairs. Both girls were terrified now. "W-what the fuck?" Dana stammered. "I.. I don't know." Willow whispered. "I'm fucking scared, dude." she said, wrapping her hands around her friends arm so tight Willow was losing circulation. "I'm no good dead, Dana. Let go of my arm." she said. They started for the stairs, holding a lighter and trying to keep their dinner down. Dana glanced outside and saw a beautiful Impala on the side of the road. She thought it looked familiar. She saw the car door open and four men get out. Before she could tell Willow, Willow had raced up the stairs on the third bang. The front door was kicked down and Dana screamed her head off. "Hey, hey! It's us!" A man with deep hazel eyes said. "DEAN!? I swear to fuck I will kill you if you EVER-" "No time for that sweetheart, where's your friend?" he asked. "Upstairs." she said, nervously. "I'll go with dad, you and Cas stay with, uh, what's your name?" a tall man with shaggy brown hair asked. "Dana. I only told you a dozen times when you interrogated me this afternoon." she snapped. The man, who she assumed was Cas, stared at her with big blue eyes and studied her. If this wasn't one of the scariest nights of her life, she would have gone over there and flirted with him. Instead, she just smiled and then peered upstairs. It was too quiet. Dean went into the kitchen, and Cas stood a few feet from Dana. She didn't know if she should trust these men, but she had no choice since they broke in to her house. "Cas?" she asked. "Yes. Dana?" he replied. "Yep, that's me." she smiled, stepping closer to him. "So your friend knows about the demon?" he asked. "DEMON!? WHAT!? A DEMON. A FUCKING DEMON IN MY HOUSE?" Dana shrieked. "You didn't-" "A FUCKING DEMON? Like, like those nasty pointy eared motherfuckers who like to.. to.. To fucking pounce on unsuspecting girls like Willow and I?" Dana rambled in a panic. "Good going, Cas. This is why I tell you to keep your mouth shut." Dean said, walking into the living room again. Dean took the mumbling Dana into the kitchen to explain. The house that was on the grounds before this was his family's. He didn't go into too much detail, only enough to make Dana try to flee from the house in a pair of daisy duke shorts and a system of a down tank top. Cas ran after her and brought her back inside, although she scratched his face to Hell. "Look, you're going to be alright. Dean and his brother and father are the best at getting rid of these things. Plus, well, I'm an angel. So, I'm pretty helpful at kicking Demon ass." Cas grinned at her. "Angel? Look buddy you may look like a very delicious.. heavenly.. God given gift to women but you are NOT an ANGEL." She barked. "God given gift to women? Seriously?" Dean looked at her. The next thing they heard was Willow's high pitched scream and her flying down the stairs. She too tried to escape, but Dean's father grabbed her by the waist and took her to the couch. She slapped him across the face while swearing at him, trying to fight him off and escape, not only from him, but the damned house, too. He had to pin her down with his own body and he began to whisper in her ear. She finally stopped struggling, and she looked up at him with fear eminating from her aqua-golden eyes. He helped her to her feet and brought her over to where Dana, Dean, and Cas stood. "Where's Sam?" Dean asked. "He's putting salt in all the rooms upstairs. Stay with the girls, I'm going to help him. "No! I'm coming with you." Willow piped up, grabbing his hand. He looked from her hand in his, to her eyes. He shook his head and got her to let him go before trotting upstairs. Dana still stared at Cas in awe. If he really was an angel, then she had to rethink everything. She had been raised as a catholic, but when she hit her teens, she considered herself an atheist. She never had reason to believe in God or Angels, or even the Devil and Demons. She scoffed at anyones mere thought of them existing. But now, she wasn't so sure. "I'm going to help, um, what's his name." Willow said. "His name is John, and no you're not." Dean said. "Oh, I would just love for you to try and stop me." Willow snapped. "Is that a dare, or a double dare sweet heart?" he asked, taking a step closer to her. "You come near me and you'll be missing your manhood, pal." "I'd listen to her, Dean. She's kind of.. um, well.. a bitch." "Thanks, Dana." Willow murmured. The lights came on, blindingly white. It made Willow cover her eyes and trip backwards, falling on her ass. The light went back to it's natural wattage and Dana helped her friend to her feet. Willow dragged her to the isolated edge of the livingroom, right near the couch and started to whisper fiercely. "Who are these guys? Demons? Seriously?" Willow asked. "I know, dude. They showed up after my World Religions class, ironically enough. At first they said they were with the health department, but then the blue eyed one slipped and said the house had something evil. I didn't give it a second thought. But then when all the weird shit started happening, I saw their car and well, you know the rest." she explained. "Dude, what if this is because we can see shit? I mean, plus my messing with Witchcraft when I was fourteen.." Willow replied. "Hey, Dean said whatever this thing is, was here way before us. It's always been here, so quit thinking this is your fault." Dana said, giving Willow a hug. They joined the guys at the foot of the stairs. It was quiet, and the lights were off. The shaggy haired guy, named Sam, came down and he had a cut on his cheek. Dean and Sam went to their car to load up on what they called "an arsenal of weapons against our little house guest", and Cas stood by Dana. Willow smirked as she saw her friend grow a light pink and then tried going upstairs. "No. No fucking way, Pixie." Dana gasped, and grabbed her friends arm. "Number one, call me Pixie when John is around and you don't have to worry about the demons getting you, because I will first. Number two, I'm a grown ass woman and I paid for this house, I'm going." "I didn't know you were a fairy." Cas said, rather child like. "Excuse me? I'm not a Fairy you twat!" "Willow, he's an Angel! He doesn't know any better!" Dana snapped. "Whatever, see you ladies in a bit, I'm going to find John." Willow said, and ran upstairs. Cas and Dana sat on the couch, fidgeting. Cas looked at Dana and couldn't believe how beautiful she was. It had been centuries since he had ever had feelings for a woman, or even noticed one for that matter, but Dana was different. Her eyes showed how good her soul was, her voice was so soft and promising, and her lips looked like perfectly shaped rose petals. As she shook in horror at the flickering lights, something came over him. He put his arms around her protectively, bringing her shaking frame close to his. He whispered soothingly in her ear, that no matter what happened, she would be safe. Dana sat there, looking at him. His eyes were full of emotions. Unfortunately, they were ones she couldn't quite decipher. If she wasn't so incredibly frightened, and hopelessly attracted to him, she could probably figure it out. But between the howling wind, the darkened house, and the intense fear of being killed and ending up in Hell, she had her mind on other things. But, that didn't stop her from wanting to kiss him. His lips were plump, and looked so warm and inviting. She wasn't in to one night stands, but if this was any other Friday night, and he was some random guy, she would have jumped his bones as soon as their eyes met. Dean and Sam were back inside, and going through everything they collected. Dean saw that Cas and Dana were snuggled on the couch, but saw no sign of Willow. He groaned and walked over. "I hate to intrude on your beautiful moment, guys, but where the hell is that pain in the ass best friend of yours, Dana?" "She went to find John." "Damn it! That girl better hope she found my dad, and not that demon." Sam added. "Willow's smart, she can take care of herself." Dana said. Willow was walking slowly and quietly in the hallway, looking for him. He was so gorgeous, she was surprised he had two full grown sons. He seemed so mysterious, though. She couldn't tell if that was what really attracted her to him, or the fact that his wet, black v-neck clung to his body, which showed how good of shape he was in. Or maybe it was his messy brown hair, or those piercing eyes. She tried to shake the lustful thoughts from her head, and when she did, she tripped. "Damn it, fuck that hurt." she mumbled to herself. She went into her room, but didn't find John. All she could see were these weird images on the ground, and the pristine white salt in the window sills, and in front of her closet door. She moved in, and the door slammed shut. She stifled a cry and looked around the room, there was no one. She heard sounds coming from the closet and her heart began to slam in her chest. As she began to back away, she bumped into someone and screamed. She was spun around and came face to face with John. "Didn't I tell you to stay downstairs?" he demanded. "Yeah well, I'm not obedient." she smiled. "You're gonna get yourself killed, Willow." he whispered. "Look, I'm not a damn damsel in distress, I can take care of myself." she said, growing irritated. "You have no idea how dangerous these damn things are. I've hunted them for the last twenty some years, sweetie. Trust me when I say it's safer downstairs." "If you're staying, then I am, too." she said, not budging from in front of him. "Fine, your choice. But stay close." he replied, frustrated. She stuck right beside him, and he wrapped his arm around her shoulders. He didn't know why, but he wanted her as close to him as possible. He didn't want anything to happen to her. His sole mission in life was to save people. This girl may have been getting on his last nerve, but he liked her bravery, her determination, and she was pretty on top of it. He wondered why she wanted to be up there with him, but he didn't ask. It was nice to have a woman with him, standing by his side through this. Willow felt safe with John's arm around her. She wanted to hold on to his waist and convince him to run away with her, from this place, far away, and hole up in some motel for the night. But she could tell he wouldn't go for it. She squished herself against his side as much as possible. The windows started to rattle, and Willow made her way to the bedroom door. It wouldn't open. She kept her cool, although inside she was panicing. Dean was on the other side, trying to kick it down, but nothing would work. John stood in front of Willow, trying to figure out what his next move would be. Out of nowhere, she felt herself go flying against a wall, pinned against it. She was deathly afraid, she couldn't even speak. John tried to grab her, but he was thrown against the opposite side of the wall. Dean finally managed to kick the door open, and Sam was right behind, with a large leather book. "Now's not story time, guys!" Willow shrieked. "Relax!" Sam snapped. The thing appeared, right next to John. Willow was struggling to free herself so she could get to him, which caught it's attention. It's pitch black eyes stared at her, and it's lips turned into a cold smirk. Sam's book went into flames and he went flying backwards and the door slammed shut behind him. Dean was knocked into the wall and went unconscious. John was swearing at the thing, trying to get it's attention, to bring it to him instead of Willow. But Willow didn't even shake, or shut her eyes. She stared at it with hate. She struggled to free herself, but had no such luck. "My, how you've grown." It hissed, like a snake. "Fuck off." she choked. She felt a white hot pain on her abdomen, and screamed. The thing flipped her shirt up to show blood dripping down her body. She stared at it, and fear started to sink in. It ran it's tongue over her cheek, and then whispered that she was going to Hell, with it, and there was no stopping it. She stared it down, showing that she wasn't weak, or scared. It slapped her, and then she felt more pain in her chest, and her fore arms. She was turning in to a bloody mess. "Let her go!" John demanded. "What's wrong, Johnny? A little upset that this will be the 2nd woman you've lost?" it smiled evily. "Take me. Let her go." he said. "Nah, this is too much fun watching you watch her slowly die." it said, and turned to Willow again. The door blew off the hinges, and Cas stood in the doorway, Dana was behind him. Cas raised his palm and now the demon was on the ground, on its knees, before Cas. He began to speak in a foreign tongue, and the thing started to scream. It's head moved side to side at the speed of light, and with one loud bellowing symbol, the demon's black spirit was expelled from the decaying body. John and Willow fell to the ground, and Sam ran to call an ambulance. Dana kneeled beside her friend, who was slowly going unconscious. Willow came to in a hospital, it was dark out, and she figured it was the same night. She moved slightly to the left and saw John asleep in the uncomfortable chair beside her bed. She peered down and saw his hand holding hers. Dana and Cas had just walked in and saw her eyes were open. Dana went to say something when Cas motioned for her to stay quiet, so they didn't wake John. Dana walked over and whispered in Willow's ear. "He's been here ever since you were admitted, that was two days ago. Someone's getting hospital sex later on!" She chuckled before walking out with Cas. Willow giggled but winced quickly afterward. It hurt to move at all. She had never been in this much pain before. She wondered what happened, she was out for two days. She also wondered if he was okay. She gripped his hand, and smiled. He was sleeping peacefully beside her. Cas told Sam and Dean that Willow was awake and that they could head to their motel. He was going to drop Dana off at her motel and then come back to see how Willow and John were getting along. But Dana had other plans. They got to her motel and Cas walked her in. She smiled at him as they stood awkwardly in the doorway together. He knew something was up, but he couldn't exactly tell what. She looked up into his eyes and he felt like he was going to melt. Her eyes were a beautiful blue, but they had a violet hue to them. It was like nothing he had ever seen before. He tried to remind himself that this girl was just that; a young girl. He couldn't possibly get feelings for her. In his line of work, and location, it could never work. But still, what he was feeling inside wouldn't go away. "You saved my friend, and myself. I could never thank you enough." Dana whispered. "It's no problem. I would have done it for anyone." he replied, being modest. "It's really late, isn't it? Maybe you should crash here. Besides.. It does get lonely." she hinted, taking his hand in hers and bringing him to the bed. He sat down and she straddled his lap. He looked at her, unsure of where to put his hands. She grabbed them forcefully and held them against her perky breasts. His touch sent a shiver up her spine, and he started to feel tension in his pants. It was all new to him, but he was enjoying the sensation. He laid back and brought her down on top of him. She groaned and attacked his lips. He pressed his lips hungrily back against hers. She was forcing her tongue in to his mouth, and the texture of his tongue against hers was turning her on. She could already feel her panties getting soaked, and she felt his boner poking her through their jeans. She gasped when he flipped her on to her back, climbing on top of her. His blue eyes swam with lust and what appeared to be genuine, human emotion. He slipped her tank top over her head and began to kiss her chest, up to her collarbone and neck, and each kiss was deeper and rougher than the last. She squirmed under him, whining and unable to control her animalistic sounds. She ripped off his trenchcoat, and soon was able to slide off his shirt. His skin was warm and smooth, and felt good against her chilled body. His tongue swirled on her sweet spot, and soon his teeth nibbled, causing her to arch her back. Her legs unvoluntarily opened, giving him room to place his lower body between them. Their lips met with passion, and he gripped her sides. She kept arching into him, her hips bucked against his own. A devilish smile formed on the corners of his lips, and he began to playfully bite her bottom lip. For someone who had never done this before, Dana was dying from the pounding in her cunt. She already wanted him to just shove it in, over and over, and make her scream until no body part worked. He slowly stood up, looking down at her. One of his hands gripped at the button of her jeans, and he quickly undid it. He ripped her pants off her legs as she fumbled to undo his button and zipper. She couldn't even form a coherent sentence, and her lips began to trace down his body, from his chest to his stomach and back up. His pants flew off and across the room, and she pulled him back down. The head of his cock was making an appearance in the hole of his boxer shorts, and she placed her hand inside them, giving his dick a small squeeze. He grunted in her ear, which made her pump his dick in her hand. He yanked her hand out and pinned both of her wrists above her head. He kissed her again, with force. He grinded his lower body against hers, letting her feel every solid inch against her wet pussy. She was able to break free, but she steadied her urges to rip his boxers off and ride him like a bronco. Instead, she slowly slid them off, and he looked down at her. She suddenly felt her heart swell in her chest, and it was a feeling she knew all too well: Love. He gently pulled off her soaked thong and helped her up into the middle of the bed. Slowly opening her legs, he slid inside, and the sticky, hot mess made it easy for him to slide in deep. She cried out and dug her nails into his back, panting in his ear. Her legs were in the air, her back arched as far as it could, and their eyes were locked on each other. They smiled and kissed deeply, passionately. Their tongues locked and slid deep into each others mouths as he penetrated her deeply, roughly, and continually. She was already cumming and drenched his dick with a hot load of cum. He wasn't too far, behind. He began to pound her cunt mercilessly, grunting and groaning in her ear, then he would add little butterfly kisses to her earlobe and neck before sucking hard on the sweet spot of her neck. "Dana, you make me feel so many things, that are so foreign to me. But God does it feel wonderful." he panted gruffly in her ear. "Jesus fuck, Cas. More. Oh God. More, please!" she begged. He did as he was asked, shoving it all inside, pounding her sweet spot, making it hurt. She finally was reaching her final orgasm, her muscle wrapping around his cock and squeezing as she screamed his name. His eyes clenched shut and he bit his bottle lip as he let his own cum rush out of him and drench her insides, and slide down her shaking legs. He fell on top of her, his whole body quivering. She clung to him as he wrapped his own arms around her body. They gasped for air and held each other, realizing this was more than a fling, it was the beginning of a beautiful relationship. Willow woke up around eleven o'clock the following night. The doctors had given her pain medication since she was crying in her sleep. When she woke up, she awoke to John hovering above her. Her heart pitter pattered in her chest, and she let out a small, shy smile. He traced the back of his hand against her cheek, in which she leaned in to it, and he told her she could finally go home. "But I don't have a home." she said. "You can stay with me, for a few days, you know.. If you want." he said. "Really?" she asked. "Yeah, if you want." he smiled. "I'd love to, John." she replied. He helped her sit up, and as the nurse unhooked her from the heart machine and took the needle out of her arm, Dana came in with a huge smile on her face. She gave her friend a set of clothes and helped her into the bathroom to dress. "God this all hurts." she cried. "I know, but John will take care of you. Cas is gonna help me go apartment hunting, for us." she replied. "John's letting me stay with him for a few days." Willow smiled. "Awww!" Dana cooed. "Oh shut up. Um, Dana? Isn't this kinda.. much?" she asked, looking in the mirror. Willow was wearing a long sleeved, low cut fishnet tshirt with a black lacey push up bra underneath, a frilly black g-string and skin tight dark blue jeans, with her tights and knee high boots. Dana put on black eyeliner and mascara, to make Willow's eyes really pop. She combed her messy hair and when she was finished, you would have never have known Willow was attacked. She walked out and saw John talking to his sons, who apparently had a lead on some new monster two states away. John slowly turned and laid his eyes on a new Willow, and he turned from his sons and walked over to her. She heard Dean mutter 'get some, dad!' and Sam dragged his brother off to their Impala. Dana walked off to find Cas and said she would call Willow tomorrow to see how she was doing. John wrapped his arm around her shoulders gently and they walked off to his car. The entire way to his motel was silent, but she kept looking at him once in awhile. More than once she caught him staring and smiled when he looked away. They got inside his motel and he helped her to the bed. She laid down and looked at him as he put his guns on the nightstand beside the opposite bed. He sat down on it and looked at her before lying down.
"Aren't you going to lie with me?" she asked.
"I wasn't sure you wanted me to." he laughed.
"Well, I do, so come here." she giggled.
He slowly got up, and took his shirt off, tossing it on the ground behind him. She laid on her back and watched him get in bed. His body was so perfect; a nice looking chest, perfect abs, and his arms were strong, and when they locked around her, she felt like putty. She looked up at him, and his eyes changed; they were full of lust. She was so glad she wasn't the only one who wanted to have sex at that point. She broke away long enough to slide her shirt off, and he slid his fingertips slowly up and down her arm. She shivered, and he quickly brought her right up against his body. His arms were around her tight and she could feel his heart beating against hers. She melted against him, taking in his scent and closing her eyes. He rubbed her shoulder blades gently with his hands, still keeping her safe in his arms.
"You were brave back there, you barely made a sound or.. Anything." he whispered in her ear.
"Thanks.. I don't know what came over me, I just.. I.. I wanted to make sure you were okay." she said, peeking up to see his eyes.
"Why?" he asked.
"I don't know, John. I just did. At that moment, you were more imp-"She was cut off by his lips hitting hers.
His body carefully rolled on top of hers, making her squeak. Their lips never broke the kiss, but instead, deepened. His hands gripped her hips and his tongue slid easily in to her mouth. She was already shaking and could feel an angry pulse in her pussy. Their tongues locked in a war of dominance, and he was clearly winning. She tried to push him off, but he was too strong. He pinned her wrists down by her sides and broke the kiss, then began  to bite her bottom lip, hard. He lips brushed against her jawline, down to her neck, the kisses were wet and hard, and the more she fought to free herself, the more he tortured her with his passionate kisses. She saw the muscles in John's arms flexing from holding her down, and she let out a whimper. He let her go and helped her sit up. He was on his knees, straddled over her lap so he could undo her bra, as he slowly let the straps slide off her shoulders, he looked down at her cleavage. She slid her hands down his abs and slowly back up, while putting butterfly kisses to his chest. He shut his eyes, groaning. His own hands slid down her breasts, down to her stomach and slowly back up. He cupped her tits in his hands, and as he sweetly kissed her, he began to squeeze her tits, making her gasp and groan. She began to quiver, and he had her lie down. She opened her legs, inviting him in and he placed his lower body right against hers, she gripped his shoulders, and her head was swimming. Her heart raced painfully in her chest, and he pulled away to look into her eyes. He smiled and kissed her cheek while letting his hands glide through her hair. She was quickly falling for him.
She was nibbling on his neck while gripping his strong, broad shoulders. He began to undo her pants and she hungrily attacked his lips. The kisses were quick and sloppy, but full of emotion and passion and... Need.
"Don't leave after this." she begged.
"I won't, I promise." he whispered assuringly between kisses to her chest.
"God, I need you." she moaned.
"I need you, too, baby." he groaned.
They pulled each others pants off, and she could see his boner in his boxer briefs. He jammed it against her several times, making her lose her mind. She whipped off her g-string while he took his boxers off, and climbed on top of her. His hands were propped up on either side of her, he was now above her and looking for him to signal it was okay for him to enter her. She kissed him twice, the last kiss lasting for several long seconds, and he slowly slid inside her. He let several inches inside, then began to torturously slide the rest in, inch by inch, it was so slow. She wanted him to force it in quick, but he knew what he was doing. He wanted this to last all night, he didn't want to let her go. She was growing wetter by the second, making it easier for him to penetrate her. She arched in to him, their kisses becoming more and more frequent and full of need. His arms wrapped around her shaking body and he whispered in her ear that she was his. He didn't let go, and he was bumping his hips into hers, it hurt but felt so good at the same time. She cried out, groaning and begging for more. Their bodies were sweaty and it made them stick together.
She bucked her hips into his, smiling as she raked her nails down his back, making him grunt. He looked a little angry, but it made him so much hotter. He kissed her hard as he shoved his cock inside her with one swift move. She screamed, and he began to shove it in, each time harder than the last. She bit her lip, suppressing a scream, and then he put kisses down her chest, to her stomach and back up. He placed one loving kiss to her lips before shooting a load of cum inside of her. It was hot and sticky, and it warmed her insides. Afterward he kept going, not stopping until she finally came, squeezing every last drop of cum out of him. He laid on his back, pulling her close to him. He kissed the top of her head and pulled the comforters over them. She laid her head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat and enjoying his rhythmic breaths. He fell asleep holding her tight, and the last thing she remembered was whispering that she loved him.
"I love you, too, Willow." he whispered back.
She smiled and clung to him tight, and they fell asleep tangled in each others arms and sleeping comfortably for the first time in weeks.

The Truth Is The Scariest Part
Hi! I’m here with something that no one requested but the concept was stuck in my head because I’m Chenry Trash.
If anyone wants to be tagged whenever I upload a fic, please respond to this post and I will do that going forward. Hope you enjoy!
———————————
Everyone had given it a shot and told their best scary stories to no avail. Henry was still unbothered and bored sitting in the Story Tank. After Piper took her turn, she went back to the table with Charlotte and Jasper to help them put Henry’s steaks back into the Bromaha box. They wouldn’t be needing them.
“Can I take this thing off?” Henry whined.
“No you can not!” Ray exclaimed.
“UGHHHHHHHHH” Henry groaned. “Just face it Ray, I won this challenge.”
“I will not face anything! I WILL be chowing down on those delicious steaks.” Ray declares.
Henry simply rolled his eyes in response.
“Well I have a story for you, but it’s not mine” Schowz says with a sly look on his face.
“Okay? What’s the story? I’m sure that I won’t be scared.” Henry replies with the utmost confidence.
“Charlotte told me a great story earlier this week about a guy.”
“Alright. What’s the story about? This guy a ghost or something?” Henry asks.
“No. Just some guy in her class. And he is definitely alive.”
What’s so scary about a guy in Charlotte’s class? Henry thought.
“Who’s alive?” Ray wonders.
“Just a boy that Charlotte was telling me about. She says that he’s super cool.”
Through the immersion, Henry sees an image of Schowz and Charlotte on the Man Cave couch.
“So what did you want to talk to me about Charlotte? A new device? An update for a old device?”
“No, I just wanted to tell you about this super cool guy.”
“Oh, alright girl. Tell me more. Spill the coffee as you kids say.”
“You mean tea?”
“Tea, coffee they both have caffeine. What’s up with this boy? Is he your boyfriend?”
While Henry is in deep thought and not paying them any attention, Schowz walks over to the Story Tank monitor to check on Henry’s Fear-inol levels. The levels were rising slowly.
I knew that would work! I’m a genius! Schowz thinks to himself.
He looks over at Ray and gestures to the monitor with a slight nod in its direction. Schowz then gives Ray a wink to signal for him to play along. Ray winks back to let him know that he understands.
They’ve both noticed that Henry has been a little more attentive to Charlotte than usual lately. Standing over shoulder while she’s at the console, invading her personal space, bringing her food from the AutoSnacker, riding in the same tube with her when Jasper takes the other. He is not subtle at all. He definitely has a big, fat crush.
The entire interaction goes unnoticed by Henry who is still pondering Schowz’s earlier statement. Charlotte thinks that someone is cool? That’s new. She usually thinks that everyone is lame. Including me. Is this a real guy?
“Charlotte said that? What else-” Henry clears his throat and tries but fails to sound nonchalant, “Uh, what else did she say?”
“Are you guys talking about Brayden?” Ray cuts in. “Because Charlotte also mentioned this guy to me. She went on and on about how handsome he was” Ray adds helpfully.
“Ray, guess what?”
“What?”
“I think that I know someone who could beat you in the Handsomest Man in Swellview Competition this year.”
“Blasphemy! No one can beat this face!”
“Nope, I really think he could win.”
“Oh yeah? Who is this guy?”
“My friend Brayden.”
“Show me his picture.”
Charlotte pulls out her phone to show him.
Schowz checks the monitor again, there was a spike in Fear-inol AND Urinol after Ray backed his play. Ray walked over to the monitor and saw the increase as well.
“Henry doesn’t stand a chance” he whispers quietly to his shorter friend.
“Absolutely not.” Schowz agrees.
Brayden? Debate team Brayden? Charlotte thinks he’s cool? And handsome? She said that he barely brought anything to the team except for a pretty face. I thought that was an insult to his intelligence. But maybe it was a compliment on his face?
“Did Charlotte tell you about her date with him?” questions Schowz.
Date? What date? Charlotte is dating Brayden now? When did that happen? Why am I just hearing about it?
“Um, they’re going out? Like in real life? And she told you this?” Henry asks disbelievingly.
“She suuuuure did. I heard he was taking her out this Saturday” Ray says with a goofy grin on his face.
Fear-inol levels were now reaching the precipice of the Startled Zone but weren’t quite there yet. Schowz motions to Ray to keep going, letting him know that their scare tactics were working.
Henry takes off the helmet and whips his head over to Charlotte who is sitting at the table with Piper talking animatedly. Jasper is now at the auto snacker ordering more candy and popcorn.
I wonder what they’re talking about. Is it about this so called “date”? Does Jasper know too? Am I the only one who didn’t know? Why didn’t she tell me?
“That-that’s cool. Charlotte has a date. What’s so scary about that?” Henry plays it off but there is a glistening of sweat forming on his brow bone.
“Oh, nothing. I just thought that you’d want to know. Put the mask back on.”
Henry follows the direction without protest. It’s as if he’s in sort of a trance.
“Yeah Henry, isn’t Saturday you and Charlotte’s official Movie Night night?” Ray asks.
In the Story World, Henry and Charlotte are in his room watching movies when they hear a knock on the door. After going downstairs, Henry answers the door to see Brayden standing there with a small bouquet of daises that he hands to Charlotte. She takes the daisies and gives them a big whiff before passing the flowers off to Henry. With a big smile on her face she turns to Henry and says, “Don’t wait up”. She then walks out the door hand and hand with Brayden. Henry is left alone looking down at the daisies.
“It is.” Henry muttered glumly.
“Weellllll, she’s gonna miss that. I heard that they are going to Nacho Ball.” Schowz adds.
Back in the story world, Charlotte and Brayden are sitting on the same side of the booth talking and giggling. They seem to be in their own little world. Charlotte wipes some nacho cheese off the corner of Brayden’s lip with a napkin. They actually look good together.
Henry feels sick to his stomach. “She hasn’t cancelled movie night for this weekend, how do I know that you aren’t just saying this to bother me?” Henry questions Ray and Schowz.
“She probably just hasn’t gotten around to it yet. Too busy thinking about her date with Brayden.” Ray mocks.
“Bother you? Does the fact that Charlotte has a date bother you?” Schowz inquires.
“Uh, no it doesn’t bother me. Why would it?” Henry mutters while scratching the back of his neck.
“You tell us Henry? Are you upset that Charlotte is going on a date?” Ray asks while stepping closer to the tank.
“Psssh, what? No. I’m just upset that she’s going to miss movie night.” Henry says nervously.
“Really?” Ray countered, squinting at Henry in suspicion.
Henry mustered up all his bravado and put it into the next word, “Really.”
“Well I’m sure if you ask her, she’d be willing to reschedule the date for earlier that day.” Schowz suggests as he checks Henry’s Fearinol levels again. The levels are now in the fully in the Startled Zone and creeping to the precipice of Scared. Schowz mouths to Ray, ‘Almost there’.
“Good. And then at movie night, Charlotte can tell you ALL about her date and how great it was.” Ray taunts.
Henry sees a vision of himself and Charlotte in the living room while Charlotte chatters excitedly about the date she just got back from. They haven’t watched one movie yet. They had been talking for an hour about Brayden.
“He was such a gentleman Henry, I think I really like him. He’s so cute and smart and nice and handsome and tall and kind. And did I mention that he was handsome?”
“You sure did Charlotte. Only about a hundred times.”
“Sorry, I’m just so excited that Brayden asked me out. And we’re going on another date tomorrow. I hope we last.”
“Me too” Henry replies in a false cheery tone.
“I wonder if they’ll kiss? What do you think Ray? Think they’ll kiss?” Schowz questions.
“Oh definitely. One thing I know about is teenage boys. I used to be one not too long ago! If I was this guy, I’d definitely shoot my shot. Charlotte’s a catch.”
“True. She’s so smart and pretty. What guy would turn her down?” Schowz adds.
“I don’t know. A chump probably” Ray alleges.
“Do you think that Brayden is a chump Henry?” the foreigner probes.
Now the Story Zone shows Brayden and Charlotte in front of her door after the date.
“I had a great time tonight” Brayden tells Charlotte.
“Me too” Charlotte answers shyly while looking down at her feet.
“Hey Charlotte?” Brayden whispers.
“Hm?” she says while looking up at him.
Instead of responding verbally, he looks into her eyes and tucks a stray piece of hair behind her ear. Stepping closer, he glances down at her lips and looks back into her eyes that are locked onto his. They both start leaning closer to each other.
Right before imaginary Charlotte and Brayden touch lips, Henry rips the helmet off his head. He’s breathing harshly and looks uncomfortable.
“That’s enough! I-I’m good” Henry rasps out.
Checking the monitor, Henry’s Fear-inol levels were offically in Scared terrority now and steadily increasing. His heart rate is also off the charts.
“Ha! I knew that I could scare you!” Ray gloats.
“I started it. It was my story” Schowz whines.
“Yeah, yeah yeah. Give me those sweet, sweet steaks!” he walks over to the table to collect the meat and then goes through the sprocket door.
Henry gets out of the Story Tank while Schowz chases after Ray. “I thought we were supposed to be sharing those!”
Sighing, Henry looks over at the table to see only Piper sitting there on her phone. It looks like she hadn’t moved in quite some time.
“Where’d Charlotte and Jasper go?”
“They went upstairs awhile ago to help some customers.”
“Oh okay. Nice. So were you on your phone the whole time or....?”
“Yeah, I’ve been in a Twitflash beef with Jana Tetrazinni for the past thirty minutes.”
“Cool cool cool cool,cool.”
“Still totally heard the fact that you were scared by Charlotte going on a date in a fake scenario.”
“I wasn’t scared! And fake scenario? What do you mean fake scenario? Char’s going out with Brayden this Saturday isn’t she?”
“Uh no dude. The only reason those guys even know about Brayden is because Charlotte was complaining about how he almost made them lose a debate this week. She hates that guy” Piper says as she gets up from the table and walks towards him.
“Oh.” Henry says with obvious relief.
“Yeah, ‘oh’. You need to go and ask her out before you give yourself an aneurysm. I’m not visiting you in the hospital” Piper says sarcastically and pats him on the arm as she passes.
“Ha ha very funny Piper. I don’t see Charlotte like that, we’re just friends.”
“That’s not what your Fear-inol levels say buddy.”

AU where Hisui and Freed are royal siblings and Laxus and Freed have been best friends forever and Freed knows Laxus is a softie at heart but Freed still gives Laxus the 'hurt her and you'll regret it' talk in his own intimidating way
I realize now... and with exhaustion... that “in his own intimidating way” could have implied “demon” but u know what... i went with what I went with D’:
Thanks so much for the request, anon!!!! I hecking adore this AU so much. It was so fun to write Freed and Hisui as siblings. I do hope you enjoy it!
Of course, I had to include some soft Laxui at the end. XD
Laxui: You Have Feelings for Her
Freed leaned back against the balcony, book in hand. It was finally quiet. His father had thrown another ball last night in another attempt to introduce Hisui and Freed to the princes and princesses of bordering kingdoms. He had slept in after staying up so late, and had skipped breakfast. He hadn’t seen his sister all morning. He was sure she was painting in her studio, or maybe she was in the library… He let out a sigh, trying to focus on his book, but a sight from last night was bothering him. The captain of the guard, Laxus… He had been on duty at the ball, standing at attention on one end of the room. Freed had gone over once or twice to talk about how utterly ludicrous the whole situation was, but once—when Freed was getting more champagne—he watched from across the room as Hisui bounded up to the tall mage, cheeks flushed, smile wide.
“Dance with me!” Fingers entwined. Laxus protested once, but Hisui wouldn’t take no for answer. Freed watched as his little sister dragged his best friend out onto the dance floor. The way she looked at him, like… like he was everything.
How could I not see it before? Hisui and Laxus? Why did that feel so weird? His little sister… and his best friend? The scariest thing was that… when their eyes met, Laxus looked at her the same way she looked at him. Is she your everything, Laxus? His little sister and his best friend…?
The sound of voices pulled him away from his thoughts and he snapped his book shut, glancing down in the garden where he could hear the voices coming from. He watched as his little sister came into view, by the roses. Her hair was pulled back, she had a daisy in one hand, and the brightest smile Freed had ever seen. Beside her walked Laxus, his arms crossed, his expression too stoic to read. But Freed watched as his friend’s gold eyes flickered to Hisui’s green. He likes her… maybe… more than just likes…
Freed set his book aside and took the stairs two at a time down into the gardens. “Laxus!” He took purposeful strides towards his friend. The captain of the guard glanced up, fingers running through his static, blond hair.
        “Freed?”
“Freed,” Hisui huffed. “What’s going on?”
Freed waved off his little sister, “I need to talk to Laxus.”
She scoffed, crossing her arms. “You’re interrupting a conversation Laxus and I were just having—”
        “Hisui,” Freed groaned. “Just—”
“It’s okay,” Laxus shrugged, almost rolling his eyes. “It’s not like Hisui has to leave.”
“Exactly,” Hisui snapped. Freed offered her a stern glare, and they held a staring contest for a moment, before Hisui let out an exasperated sigh. “Fine. I wanted to paint anyways.” She shrugged her shoulders and crossed the garden to the stairs, offering Freed one more glare before moving up back into the palace.
Freed glanced back at Laxus, once he knew Hisui was out of earshot. “What’s this about?” Laxus sighed.
Freed had never in his life stood up to Laxus. Stood up for Laxus? Sure. But stare him down? Tell him he was wrong? Absolutely not. The green-haired prince took a deep breath. “Hisui…”
Laxus cocked a brow, shifting his weight a little. “What about ‘Sui?”
That nickname. Freed gritted his teeth. “I know… how you feel about her.”
Laxus paused, orange eyes not meeting Freed’s as he spoke, “I… what… what are you talking about?”
“I’m talking about the way you look at my little sister, Laxus!” Freed snapped. The flush that rose in Laxus Dreyar’s cheeks was a clear give-away. “I know you have feelings for her!”
        “I—”
        “Don’t deny it,” Freed said.
        “I’m—”
“Don’t you dare deny it. I saw the way you were looking at her—”
“Freed.” Laxus said, and the garden fell into silence again. “…I… I won’t deny it.” He sighed, kicking a pebble across the old path. “I might be… I mean… I have feelings for her,” he took in a deep breath, “Yes.”
You can do this, Freed. Freed closed his eyes, bit his lip, before reaching out and grabbed Laxus’s collar, yanking him down so they were eye-to-eye. “I’ve got one thing to say to you, Laxus Dreyar,” he hissed, trying his best to sound intimidating. “If you hurt my little sister, I will end you. Got it?”
        Laxus’s eyes widened. “I… I would never—”
“Good.” Freed let go of his collar, though he was certain that Laxus could have broken him in half if he really wanted to. An awkward silence settled between the two of them, before Freed glanced back at his friend. “Does she know?”
“Know… I have feelings for her?” Laxus shook his head. “No.”
Freed spun around, grabbing Laxus’s collar again, “Go tell her. Now.”
“What--?! Freed! I don’t know if she feels—”
“She does. She feels the same way.”
        Laxus froze. “She… wh-what—”
“Go!” Freed snapped, pointing towards where Hisui had disappeared. Laxus moved towards the stairs, almost in a daze. “And remember what I said, Dreyar. I’ll… break you in half…”
***
Laxus crossed the hall down the familiar path to Hisui’s paint studio. He paused in the doorway. The windows here were tall, letting in lots of light. Hisui was sitting on her stool in front of a tall canvas, paint brush in hand, her lip pouting slightly. She didn’t notice him watching her. Freed… He laughed to himself, thinking about his friend’s threats. But… She feels the same way? His heart skipped a beat. Hisui… Hisui… he had started noticing a while ago that… maybe he was falling for her. Tell her…
“’Sui…” she glanced up, and immediately her face brightened with a smile.
        “Was Freed being weird again?”
“You could say that…” Laxus frowned. “He did share something interesting.” He crossed the room, hesitating before resting his hands on her shoulders.
Hisui’s cheeks tinted pink. “What’s that?”
“Something about… you having feelings for me…?”
The princess’s face turned bright red. “W-what?!? He said that!?” Her brow furrowed, hands balling into fists. “I’m going to kill him.”
“Sui.” Laxus said, trying to meet her eyes. Her face was so red she almost looked sunburned. “Is it… true?” Green eyes met orange. And she nodded once.
“I… I really care about you, Laxus… you’re…” she reached up, fingers brushing against his jaw. “Yes. It’s true.”
His heart skipped a beat. He cupped her cheek, leaning forward till their foreheads touched, letting out a soft, breathy laugh. “G…good… Because every day… I fall for you a little harder.”
She closed the distance between them, brushing a tentative kiss to his lips, He let out a soft sigh, before pulling her into another and then another. One… two… three… chaste, soft kisses, fingers entwined, green hair twirled around the thumb of his free hand.
This is real. He had to tell himself, laughing a little, forehead against forehead.
“Laxus…” she whispered, “Kiss me again… Kiss me…” He leaned in to kiss her again but froze at the sound of footsteps.
“Don’t you think one kiss is enough?” Freed was standing in the doorway, arms crossed, eyes narrowed.
        “Freed…” Laxus groaned.
        “Freed!” Hisui snapped, “Get. Out.”
        “I’m making sure you’re—”
“GET. OUT.” She threw her paintbrush at the door, and it smacked him in the chest, splattering him with blue watercolor.
        “’Sui!” Freed protested.
        “I SAID GET OUT!”
The prince slipped away down the hall with a groan, and Hisui turned back to Laxus with an exasperated sigh.
“Remind me never to get on your bad side,” Laxus laughed.
She leaned in closer, their noses brushing, “Don’t forget it, and maybe I won’t have to remind you.”
She pressed another lingering kiss to his lips. This is real. He pulled her closer by the small of her back. This is real.

“Please move in with us doll, let us keep you safe”
It’s been roughly six days since you arrived. You only managed to talk to Lusia for 30 minutes before you had to hang up again. Luckily, he assured you he’ll tell your parents that you send them love and so. It’s weird, isn’t it? He specifically asked you to call him first instead of your parents. You wanted to speak to them so bad, tell them what you have experienced thus far, but there hasn’t even been time to send a simple text message to them. You were contemplating if calling them was even a good idea, to begin with. Especially now that the case was at a complete standstill. Besides, Lusia said he’ll tell them you have called.
You’ll seek guidance from one of the boys, maybe they’ll be able to suggest what would be the best thing to do. You were even contemplating if you should tell them about your dream or not. But not now, now you had to stay focused on packing all your belongings as fast as possible. A few more hours of waiting on an answer to your inward battle won’t do any harm. Luckily for you, Taehyung decided to give everyone a rest from the case. He kind of ordered all the boys to help you pack to get you as far away from danger, as fast as possible. In other words, you all technically had the entire day off, even if you have to move and settle in.
Surprisingly, none of the others complained when Tae gave the orders. Everyone seemed to agree without hesitation! It was weird how fast and eager they wanted to help you move, at least you liked to think that way. You even went as far as to ask Jimin why they were so… compliant.
“The faster you move in, Y/N. The faster we all can relax and the more time we have, to do anything BUT work! Just remember, we hardly get days off so, enjoy while you can.” He simply responded
It did make sense. In this line of work, they barely get any time for themselves. Especially since this case started. So, without further due, you hustled to finish your packing so you could make the most of this day. You were on your way to the dining room when two hushed voices caught your attention. Stopping at the kitchen door, you quickly recognized the voices as Hoseok and Jungkook’s.
You were just about to make your presence known when you were stopped by Hoseok’s words.
“-We already processed Namjoon’s scene. I don’t get it, we were supposed to have done Jin-hyungs scene before his. We were all there, so why-“
“Y/N? Why are you standing there? Come help me load these boxes. Have you packed your clothes already?” Yoongi’s voice suddenly called from across the hall, breaking the conversation you were listening to.
Something about what you heard felt off. What were they referring to? Scenes? Brushing it off as nothing you quickly made your way over to Yoongi to help him load some of your boxes.

The move went quickly with the help of all the boys. It only took two trips to move all your belongings and some of the furniture, since it wasn’t that much to begin with. Their home, being as spacious as it was, was just what you have always imagined for yourself. Big, brightly lit rooms, a huge kitchen, dining room and lounging area to match. What more could one possibly want? Your room was situated at the back of the home. It was the biggest guest room you have ever seen. Like Namjoon said ‘You're protected here. If anyone wants to get to you, they’ll have to pass all seven of us first’
Their home screamed safety. It was a total contrast to the world you worked in. It was bright, calming and open. It allowed you to let go of all worries and just… ‘live’.
You knew deep down in your heart you were safe. Nothing would happen to you as long as you’re with them. Besides, your family, right?
“Y/N? Are you all settled in? I do hope the room isn’t too disappointing” Jungkook asked as he peeked into your door. A shy smile on his face as he nervously waited for your answer. His whole body screamed relaxation as he awkwardly stood in your doorway. He was sporting a pair of black shorts, accompanied by a rather large white T-shirt. His hair was ruffled, and his feet were bare. He sure as hell was one of a kind, being able to look shy one second and intimidating the very next…
“Disappointing? What? No, no it does not disappoint, trust me. It’s actually everything I could ever wish for! Thank you” you quickly said. Looking down as an unexpected shyness took a hold of you.
“Ah, that’s good to hear! We were worried you didn’t like the room or the house. Oh, and we’re not that disorganized or messy like at the office! We’ll be sure to clean up after ourselves and so, so no need to worry about that.” Jungkook added as he rubbed the back of his neck. Nerves still clear as day present in his whole demeanor.
“What? Oh, my word no Jungkookie! Haha, there’s no need for that! You clearly haven’t known me long. I’m like one of the messiest people you can find! Especially in the space I’m supposed to relax. Just because I’m a girl, doesn’t mean I’m all that neat. Don’t stress about it okay? And I know the rest of the boys put you up to this small interrogation session, so you can tell them exactly this ‘stop picking on Kookie! And everything is just perfect!’ Now go, so I can finish unpacking the last box. I’ll be there in just a sec” As soon as you called him Kookie his face changed. He went from ‘shy-baby-boy’ to a cat that just got milk so fast it nearly gave you whiplash.
With that, he left. Sure, living with seven men may not have been in your life plan, but hey at least you could tease them now. Your plan of action was simple… Give them the same treatment they have been giving you. Nicknames, yes, that’s where you’ll start. It clearly influenced Jungkook. Although he didn’t exactly look flustered, he looked more… pleased?
With your ridiculous plan, you just knew would fail, you quickly finish up the last of the boxes. You changed into something a bit more comfortable before heading out to find the rest of the boys.
Today’s going to be a wonderful day…
•♡•
It’s a beautiful spring day. Your father’s in the garden busy tending to the flowers, your mother’s in the kitchen baking to her heart's content. They’re happy, yet restless. It’s been five days and eleven hours since you left the safety of their home. Five days and eleven hours since they heard you laugh or play your music loudly in your room. Five days and eleven hours since they said goodbye to their baby.
You’ve always been that child, never afraid to try something new or go somewhere unknown. That’s why it hadn’t come as a surprise when you told them you applied for a job overseas. They silently knew you would leave them for something bigger than them. Yes, they knew but it wasn’t like you to not get in touch with them for more than two days. One phone call, that’s all they need to know you’re okay, happy even. As much as they want to be the first to call, they can’t. Since you went halfway around the world, your old mobile number had to change
‘Don’t worry mom! I’ll call you as soon as I can. I promise, okay? Now take care of Dad and Lusai for me. They need a strong woman to keep them inline’ You said just before walking through the first security checkpoint at the airport.
They’re worried. Very worried. They knew you would be to busy to call them immediately, yet they still hoped for something, anything.
“Aunt Lacy? Uncle Max? I just received a letter from Y/N!” Lusai shouted as he barged into the house, nearly knocking over the blue vase full of umbrellas right next to the front door.
With those words hanging in the air both your parents dropped everything they were doing. Freshly baked cookies scattered around the kitchen counter as your mother dropped the pan. Newly planted daisies were brutally stabbed with the small garden shovel as your father jumped up from his sitting position. Both your parents hurried into the living room, eyes wide and hearts full of hope. Finally, even if it wasn’t normal for you to send them letters, at least it was some form of communication. They were sure there was a reason behind the letter, maybe you wanted to make it as personal as possible. This letter would be framed and hanged in the foyer.
Dear Mom and Dad.
I am so sorry for the lack of communication. I sort of got the job and had been very busy with work. I do have some bad news, the case I’m working on is a serial killer case. I know it’s a big case for the first one, but these men really needed my help. The killer has taken a liking in me, so I had to relocate to a new place which I can’t discuss. Don’t worry, I’m safe. That’s also why I couldn’t call you. This guy is smart and if he knew your location, I would never forgive myself. I will talk to you soon, but as long as he walks free, I have to keep my distance.
Send all my love to Lusai. I miss him. I miss you guys so, so much. I love you

Y/N
“Oh my, my poor baby” Lacy said as tears streamed down her face.
“Now, now my love. She’s a strong girl. We’ll write back to her telling her we miss her and that she needs to stay safe.” Max said as he took his wife in his arms.
“Hang on, this means we can’t really communicate with her until she makes the first call? That sucks. I wanted to hear her voice again.” Lusai said, frown in place as he stared daggers at the letter.
“It’s okay son. She’ll come back. You know she will. Besides she gave her heart to you.” Lacy said smiling. It’s true, you were in love with Lusai once, but that feeling slowly faded with the years, yet you never had the heart to break his. So, you lied to him and, apparently your parents too.
Lusai only smiled as he looked down at the letter again. His heart filled with sadness as he took in each stroke of the pe-
“This isn’t Y/N’s handwriting. She doesn’t write this neat, even if she really tries.” Lusai said as he studied the letter further.
Before Lusai could get a better look, there was a loud banging at the front door. A beat went by as all three of them froze. An uneasy feeling settled around the room. A feeling one should never ignore.
“I’ll get it,” Lusai said turning towards the front door. Upon opening it, Lusai came face to face with the end of a gun barrel. Lusai immediately paled at the sight, he’s never been fond of those things. He always complained when you would drag him to the shooting range for practice. Unlike Lusai, you wanted to learn how to use them properly.
“Hello, pretty boy,” the man behind the gun said. A smirk slowly forming on his face.
“Mind if my boys and I come inside? We have a message to deliver”
•♡•
“So, what do you guys want to do for the rest of the day?” you asked as you entered the lounge. All the boys were there, either sleeping or playing on their phones.
“What about a day at home? We could watch some movies. There’s this new horror movie we wanted to watch, and the newest Marvel movie should be available to stream.” Jimin said from his position on the couch.
“A day lazing around at home sounds like heaven!” you said with a little too much enthusiasm as you took a seat between Namjoon and Hoseok.
“Great! I’ll go get some snacks for us” Seokjin said as he got up and went to the kitchen. This is exactly what you need to get your mind off things. Jungkook, Jimin and Taehyung quickly got into a rather heated discussion on what movie should be first. Yoongi was still snoring away on the one couch previously occupied by Seokjin. Hoseok and Namjoon silently scooted closer to you, effectively pinning you to your spot.
“So, Y/N. Have you spoken to your parents yet?” Namjoon asked.
His attempt at small talk warmed your heart even if the question kind of caught you off guard. He watched you curiously as you stared at him, completely lost in thought. His brown eyes help a secret message that you didn’t quite get. His flawless features were illuminated by the light streaming in from a world beyond the windows. A world you gladly weren’t apart of today.
“Y/N?” Namjoon said as he raised his eyebrows. A small smile appearing on his face when you slightly jumped at his voice. His dimples made its grand appearance as his smile widened and your cheeks reddened.
“I’m sorry. I- uh, I haven’t spoken to them since I left, no” You said, slightly embarrassed at being caught taking his very beautiful face in.
“Wait, you haven’t told your parents you got the job?” Hoseok suddenly said next to you. His face was a mix of concern and shock.
“No, I haven’t. Why? Is something wrong?” You asked a bit confused at his sudden change in mood. At this question, the whole room went quiet. Even the youngsters stopped fighting as they all stared at you.
“Y/N,” Seokjin said from the doorway, frown evident on his face. “It’s been like, what? Five days and you still haven’t spoken to them? You're going to call them, right now” His firm voice made you jump slightly.
“Okay, okay. Jeez, I don’t see why you all are so upset over this. It’s not like I haven’t called anyone, I’ve spoken to Lusia a few days ago.” You said, pout firmly in place on your face.
“Who the hell is Lusia?” Jungkook blurted from his position next to Taehyung.
“Oh, he’s a childhood friend. He told me to call him before I call my parents. I don’t know why though.” You said as you suddenly saw the strangeness of the whole situation. Before you could analyze anything further another voice pulled your attention away.
“Okay, clearly you're missing the point here. So, let me help you. They are your parents, right? If I were them, I would be sick with worry if my daughter went to a strange country, for a job interview and she decided to go radio silent for five days without so much as a ‘Hi, I’m safe’. You’re not being fair Y/N.” Yoongi suddenly said from the couch across the room.
His words left a feeling of guilt behind. He was right after all. You’re being selfish and it's not fair towards your parents if you keep on acting as if you barely have time for a simple call. Come to think of it, why did you delay speaking to them? Was it because you knew it would break their hearts if you had to tell them you’re not returning home soon? Maybe it was because for the first time in your existence you felt… alive?
“Okay, I’ll call them” You stated as you attempted to get up but the two stone pillars you were seated next to made it impossible. With one stern look from Hoseok, you halted all attempts of escape. Why? You do not know.
“Oh no, you're making the call right here missy and you're putting them on speaker. We would like to introduce ourselves and ensure them of your safety.” Taehyung suddenly said.
Well, this was indeed a sudden turn of events. You blankly stared at each member expecting one of them to show signs that this was some sort of prank, yet none budged. Reluctantly you pulled out your mobile and proceeded to dial your parents.
After a short while of ringing, someone picked up on the other end. The voice that greeted you on the other end sends chills down your spine.
“Hello Y/N, so nice of you to call. I would have given the phone to your parents but their a little tied up.” The voice was deep with a playful edge to it. Even if you heard the attempt the caller made at hiding their identity, you knew exactly who you were talking to.
“Lusia“You stated with a firm voice.
“Now, now. I only wanted to deliver a message to you and your parents. I owe someone money for this, so I do hope you listen carefully. You know me Y/N, right? So, here’s what I want. 6 Million in 5 hours or I’m going to have to start selling body parts” Lusia said, smirk evident in his voice.
“What? Cat got your tongue. Call me back when you have the money. I know you’re loaded with it. So, don’t try anything with me. You owe me after the stunt you pulled” With a final click the call ended leaving you in a room of seven silent men.
Fantastic. You knew the past would catch up to you, but you did what you had to do to keep your parents safe.
