@thegodwhocums I'm only on night two of my seven nights of Dionysos so far but I've been able to just Sit with this more than I have been with things in quite a long time. Perhaps this is what will bring me back into my groove, perhaps not. I'm feeling relaxed and open minded about it, which is nice.

I think I'm going to permanently stop the daily wine offerings to the gods and daimons. With 6 altars to maintain it's too complicated, the liquid water + wine systematically molds.

I will use water & reserve wine for more in-depth individual rites. (Or special occasions like tonight)

Same thing with resin incense, get fed up with the charcoal to buy and all that smoke. Cone incense has less energy, but is more practical for everyday use.

Any suggestions anyone? Oh, and happy New Year !

just library things: asking coworkers for donations in order to buy a newspaper subscription for a behated patron so that little witch stops coming in

#library #she shows up at at 2-4pm and is incensed that the paper is a mess/can't be found/already has the crossword done #she has a temper tantrum at the copier bc the puzzles page of the newspaper doesn't fit in the 8.5x11'' parameters so stuff gets cut off #she stands in front of me at the desk and mutters and rants that the newspaper is only 4 days a week now #THIS IS A DAILY OCCURRENCE. SHE DOES THIS EVERY SINGLE DAY. SHE LEARNS NOTHING. SHE IS A 50+yo ADULT WHO DRIVES. #how stupid are you if you roll up to a PUBLIC LIBRARY at whatever o'clock in the afternoon and expect the newspaper to be intact?? #THERE IS AN ENTIRE INTERNET THAT SHE COULD JUST PRINT SUDOKU AND CROSSWORD AND CRYPTOQUIP PUZZLES #anyway i don't truly hate very many patrons but this is one of the select few #the newspaper only posts their articles in their online edition; they don't post the puzzles online #ask me how many days in a row this stupidass woman demands that i get on the online paper and find the puzzles for her. #unfortunately the newspaper charges hella dough for their pathetic 4-day-a-week in-print copy subscription so i'm not gonna buy her one #sorry to the other libraries in town but i wish she'd bother them for a while instead :(

Internet’s back up! This time it was the power supply to my own router that had issues! (On a somewhat related note, I now have a spare Ethernet cable. If I can get it to reach from my router to my Switch, I can buy a LAN adapter in time for Splatoon 3, lol.)

This means I finally got started on Spectrier! (I’m also still working on multiple projects, so progress was a bit slow today. I have a very loose sketch done.... which is pretty much a full-body repeat of the “honse” doodle, haha.)
