A random Probably near impossible AU idea for TMNT 2012. Where Karai is the Daughter of Shredder But he either found her or there’s a female ninja who is bitter and jealous that Oroku Saki will never truly love her (arranged marriage) but Miwa is revealed to be April having not been found by the Shredder but Kirby instead who uses his DNA to fix as much of the burn damage on her poor body as possibly As he is a very famous geneticist. This changed her in a way where his DNA overwrote most of Splinter’s. With no malice obviously as he believes that the girls parents are dead. This hides her from the Shredder without him knowing and he adopts her and raises her in New York

Just saying but like the idea of Eddie being taken out of the story as a main character in the Drowned Eddie au and being used as a villain honestly gives more opportunities for the other main characters to shine. I might write more about this later cuz I haven’t put a whole lot of thought into it right now, but thinking about it, characters like Lita didn’t really get very much development other than disliking Ophelia and being Lars’s brother.

Even Ophelia. I feel like she should have more time on screen doing cool shit, and the idea of her being the main character trying to get Eddie back and fix everything, it just sounds so cool. Things like this always make me so excited about writing cuz it’s like. Gosh, I love Brutal Legend but there are definitely flaws and kinks that should be corrected, not just with the gameplay. The story is AWESOME don’t get me wrong but like I said, some of the main characters I feel like should’ve been able to shine more. Very specifically Lita because gosh I love her she’s so cool, and she doesn’t really get a chance to be cool, yk?

Which is why a SEQUEL WOULD’VE BEEN A GOOD FUCKING IDEA CUZ SOME OF THESE ISSUES COULD’VE BEEN FIXED. LOOKIN AT YOU, EA.

I think one of the best ways to check if two characters work together (regardless of their actual relationship) is to ask: Would they work as Splatoon idols?

Jevil and Dimentio, as well as Spamton and Fawful absolutely meet this criteria.

Thinking back on service Pokemon, Garbodor, Trubbish and other Pokemon that may reside in the dump could be helpful in keeping the garbage disposal to a minimum. I just thought of them dissolving the unused hospital equipment like masks or needles which can be very dangerous. Not to mention putting Galarian Weezing in places with high air pollution could improve living conditions especially to people with who have lung problems, yah know?

Ooooh 👀 I hadn't thought on this for a while, but that honestly makes sense. Excuse the world-building rambling below-

Galarian Weezing being attracted to high air pollution areas would make for great companions in the city. Alolan Grimer would also be welcome because they ate Trubbish and other Pokemon due to their unique diets for eating trash, unlike their Kantonian counterparts. A thing I found through scouring the internet was that the Kantonian ones are given sludge areas to live in due to sludge areas decreasing in recent years.

That makes me think of a whole poisonous ecosystem that is based on the everyday grime, trash, and other substances that are left behind to evolve and manifest into Pokemon. That can also explain why certain forms of regional variants exist as well as explain why they might be rare in certain areas due to regional regulations and whatnot.

Like how Rattata were brought to Alola on cargo ships and infested the area until Yungoos were imported in from another region in order to keep the numbers down, making the Rattata undergo adaptation to survive due to the pressure of a predator.

Also, the whole Industrial Revolution vibes just make me think of the fact that Pokemon Universe had something like that where Galarian Weezing were prized for their contributions towards keeping places clean and such. Probably the rich had them in homes, but they often gathered in places where the pollution was predominant. That gives me world-building fuel huhuhu-

Although that makes me think of Galarian Corsola and how climate change affected it. Makes me think of the Weather Institute from Hoenn and what's been going on with them. Castform would be helpful in that direction 🤔

There's also the idea that Trubbish and Garbodor follow people who litter and other unsanitary areas, which would then be followed by those that prey upon them.

There's Audino who can sense a Pokemon's physical condition as well as their feeling with their ears, which can make them excellent caretakers for both humans and Pokemon. Chansey is also a given as well as its evolution. I can see Happiny having those caring instincts as well, even though it would only be able to help out in small injuries and such. Many of the healing Pokemon would do this as well, depending on their condition.

I don't wanna overload the ask with my world-building thoughts because some of it is related to TEBF, but hhhhh- I am tempted. I'll probably have to make a separate masterlist for worldbuilding with how my blog is rn alkjsdfjklalj
