Ig @tomdeblass What an incredible few days with this guy in London. @tomhardy is a strong supporter of @reorgcharity and mentioned a while back about a chariry seminar. We decided to put it together and it was incredible. Today at @rogergracieacademy we had around 115 students on the mats enjoying Jiu-Jitsu, with 100% of the earnings going to charity. I also had a ton of time with Tom privately working Jiu-Jitsu strategy and talking life in general. This guy really knows how to treat his friends and guests. I was able to see his hometown today and his old stomping grounds. Tom is truly one of the most thoughtful dudes you will ever meet, I mean that.

I also have a ton of vid of me sleeping literally everytime we drove or I sat down. I was thinking how kind he was letting me sleep in the car, he just got some really good snoring vids. 🤣

It was the jet lag. 😂

If you're representing a charity that helps children, don't start your pitch with "I'm not the stripteaser!" when a young woman opens the door.

It's not funny. And don't repeat it again when she doesn't react. You earned your "well I certainly hope not."

Especially since the CEO of that chariry got sacked for innapropriate behaviour.

10: Career Goal: My fourth Solo Exhibition

In November 2019, I will launch my fourth solo exhibition showcasing my project entitled ‘From the inside out’.

This independent project of mine will be 5 A2 photographs illustrating what epilepsy is, the purpose of this project is to take people on a journey and create awareness and educate people on what Epilepsy really is.

For this project I have worked with the charity Epilepsy Action to raise money for them and I set up a just giving page.

What was the concept of this project?

My whole life I have lived with what is known as Epilepsy. ‘Epilepsy is a common condition that affects the brain and causes frequent seizures. Seizures are bursts of electrical activity in the brain that temporarily affect how it works. They can cause a wide range of symptoms’.

This personal experience sparked the idea of this project. The purpose of this project will be to make an awareness about this topic. I have a very deep strong connection with this topic.

From an insider’s point of view, I feel that people don’t really know what the full definition of Epilepsy is. I feel that people don’t understand it or fully aware of how it can affect someone’s life. As a result I personally don’t feel comfortable talking about this issue to just anyone, I think they need to have some form of knowledge about it.

I was diagnosed with the brain disorder when I was a new born baby therefore I don’t know life without it, it has always been apart of me.

One of the things are drove me, to want to pursue this project was for very long time I have bottled it all up and now I wanted to create a photographic project from it expressing and documenting it, to make an awareness to others.

The aim of this project is based on the idea of being true to ourselves, peeling back the walls that we have built up over the years, from life events and life battles that we face as individuals.
