Can you do 2. "Are you crying?" With dick and one/some of the other bats? :)

"Are you crying?" Jason asks from behind Dick.

Dick scrubs at his face. He is sitting on the step of a particularly unused staircase leading from the second to the third floor, most likely built for servants when the manor was still filled with them. Now, Dick uses it to hide from everyone, especially nosy little brothers.

"No, I'm fine," Dick says, a beat too late. His voice is almost normal, too, but it wavers right at the end.

Jason is silent for a few moments, and Dick just focuses on breathing. On taking every single bit of anger and hurt buzzing underneath his skin like living electricity and shoving it deep, deep down.

Lights up, it's showtime. His life is a performance, and it looks like Dick is on.

"Really," Dick says, sounding actually normal now. He still doesn't turn around to face Jason, since his eyes are probably red and puffy. "I'm fine. Just a rough day."

"Sure," Jason says noncommittally. Dick hears the thump of Jason's boots walk down another three steps, and then Jason is sitting down right next to him. He elbows Dick in the side. "I'm here if you wanna talk."

Dick frowns. "I'm fine."

Jason hums. "Well, I'm here either way."

Dick sighs, slumping just slightly. They sit in silence for a minute, which turns to two, then three, and Dick finally says, "I don't really want to talk about it, so you don't have to sit here with me."

Jason shrugs. Offers, "I'm here."

And Dick feels warm fondness for his oldest younger brother well up just slightly, muting the angry livewire somewhat. It sends Dick's lips into a small smile.

"Thanks, Jay."

" ah yes, I heard from Ross you were looking for help. Vanillite is a pokemon Made mostly of ice from the mineral egg group, though I suppose you already knew that. If you are looking to breed solely ice typed vanillite crossbreeds, your only choice would be to breed it with cryogonal, as ice types are set into two groups, pokemon with a decreased body temperature, and pokemon litreally made of ice. The only ice type to fit into the category of "made of ice and in the mineral egg group" would be cryogonal, though if your looking to breed and don't mind a secondary typing or no ice typing at all pokemon like roggenrola, geodude, rolycoly or nacli might work. They all fit into the mineral egg group and are more object then animal, then again vanillite crossbreeding is mostly unknown so this may not work. Hopefully this helps, even if it is worded confusingly. "

Related to the person who's a vet assistant and told you about the burger hold technique.

I have another funny one to share as a vet student, which is the burrito technique (that's the name we learn for real) which consist of wrapping (mostly cats or small dogs) in a towel to keep just their head outside so they can't scratch us.

Now I can't stop imagining Machete in a burrito hold with the same annoyed look cats give us when we do that. I think it's very funny.

To illustrate my point, here's a cat in a burrito hold when we trained about that technique.

Drabble: I could punch you right now

“I could punch you right now,” Tim says with an exhausted huff. “It’d be easy to drop you and stick my fist in your face, and instead I’m being the best brother you’ve ever had and carrying you to the car.”

“You, hh, sound like Jason,” Dick pants. “Pretty sure, you guys…only hang out…to torment me.”

One foot in front of the other is one of the hardest things Dick has ever had to do. Even with Timmy supporting half his weight, Dick is barely staying upright. He really, really hopes that whatever was in that syringe wasn’t fatal.

“I hang out with Jason just as much as I hang out with Damian,” Tim snarks. “You’re the one who keeps planning family get-togethers.”

“‘Cause we’re family,” Dick says, surrendering even more of his weight to Tim. Everything is starting to spin. “And families…should get together…sometimes.”

Tim notices the extra weight. “Come on, Nightwing. We’re almost there. Just a few more blocks and we’re home free.”

Tim sounds scared. Dick doesn’t like it.

“You and I…have a different opinion…of what home free means,” Dick splutters. He’s completely out of breath, and it’s hard to draw in any oxygen into his lungs.

“Home free means not walking anymore,” Tim says, grunting with the effort of dragging Dick along. “And once we get to the car, I can start working on the antidote to whatever it is they shot you up with.”

Dick means to acknowledge Tim’s words, but he doesn’t have the breath. Black spots are infiltrating his vision and his head feels like it’s filling up with helium.

“Gonna…pass out,” Dick murmurs.

“You’re gonna be fine, Dick,” Tim says, though his voice sounds far away. “I’m going to make sure of it. Just stay with me.”

“I’ll...try.”

Hello, anon! Thank you for your patience! I wanted to write a drabble for this and it took me some time to decide on the scenario. Without further ado, I present...

Eren and Mikasa in the Kiss Cam

“So what’s going on between you and that hottie sitting next to you?” Hitch asked as she came out of the stall and joined Mikasa at the sink to wash her hands. She’d gotten free hockey tickets at work, so that’s what they were doing for girl’s night this week.

Mikasa blushed. “He just shared his nachos with me and we talked a little bit,” she said. “He bought me a beer.”

“Oh?” said Hitch, waggling her eyebrows.

Mikasa’s blush deepened. “He is pretty cute, isn’t he?”

“I’ll say!” said Hitch.

“I kind of want to give him my number,” said Mikasa, covering her face with her hands. “I don’t know! I’m too shy!”

“Do it!” said Hitch. “You should make a move. Kiss him.”

Mikasa gasped. She was the color of a ripe cherry now. “What if he isn’t into me, though? What if he’s just being nice?”

Hitch scoffed. “There is no way he’s just being nice when he’s checking you out every two seconds. I’ve been keeping my eye on you both. He wants it.”

Mikasa squeaked and shook her head. “I don’t know if I can make the first move.”

Hitch rolled her eyes, shaking the excess water off her hands and grabbing a paper towel. “You need to grow a pair, Mikasa. What’s your seat number?”

Mikasa pulled her ticket stub out of her pocket and showed her. 

“Okay, I’ll meet you back there. I have to go do something first,” said Hitch.

“What are you going to do?” Mikasa asked.

“Just stuff!” Hitch said, sounding annoyed as she pushed open the bathroom door. “I’ll meet you back at the seats.”

“Okay…” said Mikasa, following her out into the hallway, then parting ways to head back toward their section alone.

“Where’s Hitch?” Sasha whispered when Mikasa sidled her way past her towards her seat.

“She wouldn’t tell me,” said Mikasa.

“Probably getting up to something evil,” said Annie, popping  a french fry in her mouth.

“I’m going to text her and ask her to bring me a slice of pizza,” said Sasha, getting out her phone. 

“You just ate two hot dogs and a custard,” said Annie.

“I’m still hungry,” said Sasha.

Mikasa chuckled at them and continued past them to her seat, right between the absent Hitch and the brown-haired, green-eyed stranger who had introduced himself as Eren.

“Hey, you’re back,” he grinned, twisting towards her as she sat down. 

“Did I miss anything good?” she asked, returning his grin with a shy smile.

“There was almost a fight,” said Eren, leaning on the armrest dividing their chairs. “But only almost. So, no. You didn’t miss out on anything… unless you missed me?”

Mikasa’s face, which had just finally gone back to its normal color, turned pink again. Her mind raced for a flirty response. What would Hitch say in her shoes? Ah! “I was counting down the seconds until we could be together again, Eren,” she teased.

Now it was his turn to blush. “Uh… Cool,” he said, with a breathless laugh. “I was… uh… I’m glad you’re back, too.”

The guy with the buzzcut who was sitting next to him elbowed him in the arm. “Smooth,” he said, rolling his eyes.

Eren glared at him. “Fuck off, Connie!”

Connie rolled his eyes again and returned his attention to the game.

Eren turned back to Mikasa. “Um, so… Uh…” He tapped on his knees. “After the game, um…”

“Yes?” said Mikasa, biting her lip.

Eren stared at her for a moment, taking a series of progressively deeper breaths before he finally said, “The crowds can be pretty bad, so be careful on your way out to the parking lot.”

Mikasa’s shoulders slumped. “Okay,” she said.

Eren gritted his teeth, glancing at Connie, who was snickering under his breath. He scowled and slouched back in his chair, folding his arms across his chest. “I mean, I’ll walk you out,” he said to Mikasa. “Make sure no one bumps into you.”

She brightened. “Okay,” she said.

“So… just stay close to me,” he said, straightening up a little bit. “I’ll keep you safe.”

“Okay,” said Mikasa, scoring a conversational hat trick. “Thank you.”

Eren chanced a glance at her. “It’s my pleasure,” he said, swallowing hard. “And then, maybe, if you want…”

“Oh my god, it’s a kiss cam!” Sasha squealed.

“Huh?” said Eren, his head swinging towards the jumbotron. Mikasa turned, too.

The screen was now framed in pink, with a heart cutout revealing the camera’s view. An older couple gave each other a peck on the lips and waved at everyone before the image cut to another couple, who laughed and shook their heads, making X’ing motions with their hands. When the camera didn’t pan away, the woman kissed her fingertips and patted it onto the man’s temple. The image cut to a little boy and his mom. He shouted, pointing up at himself with delight, then turned and hugged his mom, who squeezed him tight and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

Mikasa giggled. “Oh my gosh, can you imagine being put on the spot like… Oh…” she trailed off, her stomach lurching. That was her face on the screen now. And, framed inside the heart with her, Eren. He was frozen beside her, his hands gripping his armrests. When she saw him unfreeze and turn to her on the screen, she turned to him in real life.

“Uh…” he said with an awkward laugh. “So… If you’re cool with it…” He turned his face and tapped on his cheek.

Mikasa glanced back up at the screen, biting her lip, then looked back at Eren. You need to grow a pair, Hitch’s disembodied voice commanded. Mikasa sucked in a breath as she took Eren’s chin and turned his face back towards hers. She tapped her lips. “If you’re cool with it…” she started to say, but his mouth was already on hers, his hand slipping around the back of her head and tangling in her hair. She grabbed his shoulders, kissing him back amid a stadium full of whoops and catcalls. They parted to take a breath, then dove back in.

“Uh, you can stop now. The kiss cam is over,” said Annie. “It’s been over for a while.”

“You horny freaks,” said Sasha, as Mikasa and Eren separated, panting and disoriented. 

Mikasa smoothed out her hair, glancing around, shame-faced. “Sorry,” she said, but everyone was watching the game again. She bit her lip and looked at Eren. He was staring at her, starry-eyed. 

“We usually go get food after the game if you want to come,” he said. “But, like, we can ditch everyone else and just go by ourselves.” He blushed. “If you want.”

“I do,” said Mikasa, as Hitch finally returned to her seat.

“Cool!” said Eren, grinning from ear-to-ear, then turning to his friends. “Hey, I’m going to go hang out with Mikasa after the game so you can all go fuck yourselves and eat without me.”

Hitch leaned towards Mikasa. “What’s that?” she said. “You made out with a guy in front of everyone and now you’re going on a date with him? Hmmm… It’s lucky you ended up on that kiss cam, I guess, or you never would have made a move.” She smirked.

Mikasa’s eyes widened. “Hitch!” she hissed.

“What?” Hitch asked, tossing her hair.

Mikasa studied her for a moment. “Nothing,” she said, turning back to the game and Eren. She was right.

some off the top of my head:

"two cut lines" - like. okay. i still maintain that the rest of the firefam doesn't actually know how close buck & eddie are and definitely do not fully realize the extent of buck's role in the diazes' life, but one thing that the rest of them Do know is that buck would rather die than leave eddie behind and i love tht these three simple words encapsulate the strength of that undying devotion

"and that started with you. whatever happens to him next, you gave him that second chance. maybe that's the point." i will never ever ever ever ever ever be over this scene and how buck found the exact words to bring eddie back from the brink and show him that what he does matters, that there's still hope, that there are things worth living for and that he made a difference in someone's life. and i think that this right here is more than romance more than love this is just. soulmatism right here. i mean....to be seen to be found isn't that what we're all searching for?

AND ON THAT NOTE. BUCK. THERE'S NOBODY IN THIS WORLD THAT I TRUST WITH MY SON MORE THAN YOU. makes me fucking INSANE because what do you mean eddie forgave him instantly?? in any other show with any other pairing this would be a season long arc with the two of them tentatively reconciling at the very end of it all. anybody else would be (understandably, i might add) nervous to leave christopher with buck after what happened, but eddie forgave buck immediately. eddie, who adores chris with all of his heart and soul, who loves that boy more than anything else in this world, saw not that buck wasn't able to hold onto chris, but that he loved him enough to try. he didn't hold it against him for chris getting swept away, he only focused on the buck that spent all day bloody and bruised, searching for his heart. but more than anything, i think he saw all of that love and heartbreak and guilt and the self doubt that matches his own reflected in buck and decided to give his best, truest friend the chance that was never given to him 🥺😭

"comes in handy when you have a bunch of holes in the wall" i can't explain why i love this bit of casual reassurance so much but i just. i think it's so simple and so sweet and a testament to how they make each other feel so loved so easily :(

i don't remember the exact quote right now but do you remember that scene where eddie and hen are gossiping about hen's mom and eddie says that his abuela would love the tea bc she loves telenovelas and buck beams at him w the fondest grin ever and teases eddie about loving telenovelas too? i know they're soulmates and in love and all of that shit but they're also Best Friends and i love all these little reminders of how well they know each other and how much they genuinely like each other. also this being in the same episode as buck's look of complete confusion when his long term gf tells him she loves him was a Choice™️

"just gonna be you and me" from the LS crossover episode for no reason other than it was cute & i love buck's subsequent jealousy

"guess all that company must've wore you out" bc of the obvious Implications that maddie tried to rope eddie into her plan of sending buck visitors to cheer him up and eddie straight up said no because he knew that wasn't going to help. yet another one of the million examples of these two knowing exactly what the other person needs & also Being exactly what the other person needs

"three minutes and seventeen seconds" because what do you MEAN he knows the exact amount of time buck was dead for. what do you mean he counted the seconds that he lived in this world without his best friend, praying and begging that he could outrun the clock and he wouldn't reach the time that would make it permanent. what do you mean he memorized the amount of time and then he threw out that line so casually because he couldn't stand the way they were talking about buck's death as something fascinating instead of as the worst three minutes and seventeen seconds of eddie's life...

the one-two punch that is "you don't need to pretend with me" and "you don't have to be anything for anybody" because both of them have spent so much of their lives not feeling good enough and not truly living for themselves...and yet around each other they've never had to do that and are free to be nothing but themselves and still be loved not despite it, but for it.

and finally last but not least....the very thesis of their relationship: "you can have my back any day" / "yeah. or, you know, you could… you could have mine" because it's stayed true ever since the first day they met and will remain true for the rest of their lives. also i'll never stop thinking about how 911 straight up said "isn't that what we all want in a partner? knowing that they have your back?" in the season five finale and have shown time and again that buck and eddie have tried to accomplish this in their previous relationships but have only ever been able to have a full and true partnership with each other...yeah that shit will Haunt me forever

this is probably incomprehensible but my mind is running at a million miles an hour right now so i am not going to go back and edit it
