really disappointing that bunjywunjy had to be pestered twice just to quietly remove their reblog after using their huge platform to encourage garbage like raving about the lesbian estonian soviet flag and how 'new pride flag just dropped' so people could go 'ooh pretty' about a flag that was forced onto us by ppl who wanted our culture gone and oppressed us for about a century in total if not more.

to say nothing or not show anything of the truth about that flag and quietly remove the reblog felt more like it was done out of obligation (and you didn't agree) rather than care for the subject matter that is still a fresh wound in our country's memory. it's only been 33 years since it ended.

I'd rather you make the mistake about something you didn't know (eastern european history is easy for westeners to overlook, because we're not a big country like them, we're not england or france or spain or germany) and admit/apologize for said mistake or even just outright state that you don't actually care rather than say nothing and quietly remove something so that people would stop talking about it

I've made the unfortunate mistake of watching Glee few days ago. And now I have a lot of thoughts I need to get out.

And the first is, is that, most characters aren't that bad. Rachel? Finn? Will? Sure, they all made mistakes (some bigger than others) but in their core they were good people. And I can't hate any of them.

HOWEVER, someone that is actually horrible is Sue. I get why people don't hate her, she's funny, she cares about Kurt and has done SOME redeeming. But let's not pretend she's less bad than Will. She has done enough inappropriate things herself, way worse things. (Having sex in Rachel and Kurts apartment? The whole Klaine obsession???)

She's also a huge hypocrite. Alright. She sexualized her cherrios constantly, but then got mad at Will. (Yes he was also wrong). And I will never defend the weird stuff he did.

In conclusion: she's the worst, but it's hard to hate her, even for me, I admit.

There are fears for thousands of missing Palestinians after the Israeli government cancelled work permits for Gazans after the deadly Hamas attacks on 7 October.

Trade unions, officials and humanitarian organisations have raised concerns for their safety after reports Palestinians with permission to work in Israel were rounded up, arrested and blindfolded before being taken to military camps.

The Minister of Labour for the Palestinian Authorities, Dr Nasri Abu Jaish, told The Independent around 4,500 workers were still unaccounted for but are believed to have been detained by Israeli forces. Dr Jaish said he had met workers after some of them were released, sharing stories of alleged mistreatment.

“They’re being tortured,” Dr Jaish said. “They’re beaten and scarves are tied around their eyes so they don’t know where they are. Many of them are sick and they don’t give them medicine. They don’t give them water or food. They’re in open-air camps and aren’t allowed to speak to each other.”
