Horror movie hot takes // Matt + Chris

Again, I’m sorry that this is not my proper writing, but don’t worry! My breeding kink oneshot is on its way, I gotchu guys ;) I’m hopefully going to be dropping it some time in the middle of the week, so this is just some light and fun reading to do until then whilst you wait - if you want of course… pls humour my stupid ideas lol.

Thank you to whoever suggested this because I’ve been dying to give u guys my breakdown. Horror is one of my FAV genres, idk why, I just love scaring myself. Also, I don’t have just one to share with u guys, but three different options each because it’s such an expansive genre with so many probable things to pick from. You guys can probably tell that I have way too much fun with these things… (Plus they’d look good in multiple different genres and I rlly wish I could add more but I don’t want these to get too long bc they’re meant to be hot takes).

Obviously, a couple of the pictures I’ve used for the visuals may be potentially triggering as they contain blood and other disturbing bits of paraphernalia, so please if you’re squeamish, proceed with caution!!

But anyways…

Matt:

First up Matt’s most likely to star in some type of rural corn maze horror. I’m thinking proper Southern gothic style, low quality, out in the sticks and with only a small population in the farming town where he resides.

I could so see the storyline following the main character who moves to this place, but very quickly gets that sinking feeling in her stomach that there’s something not right about the town, from the way the locals look at her to the way Matt speaks when she first arrives. There’s got to be that cliché plot line where something suspicious is afoot, something that she wants to unearth.

Matt’s character gives off creepy neighbour vibes, like the kind that watches the main character from behind his curtains as she unloads the moving truck. This Matt is properly country too, from the cowboy boots on his feet to his red flannel shirt and his shotgun that he randomly carries around because he’s a sheep farmer (do I envision him using his country accent, yes, yes I do).

Long story short, the rural town isn’t just a town, it’s actually a cult, and the reason the farmers rear cattle and mind sheep is so that they can conduct ritualistic sacrifices with them.

(I lowkey wish this was a movie I’d eat this kind of twisted shit up)

For his second movie I’m absolutely obsessed with the idea of putting him in a domestic psychological thriller- so proper stalking vibes. I’m thinking something like ‘You’ but almost making him a more extreme version of Joe Goldberg.

Possibly he’s maybe the main character’s co-worker, who takes the secret affection he has for her a little too far? Or even just an absolutely psychotic ex that refuses to let her go… In short this is the kind of movie that doesn’t quite give you that exhilarating rush of jump-scares, but instead tries to make you as physically uncomfortable as possible with an absolutely horrific instrumental soundtrack playing underneath it.

I’m not sure why I chose this branch of horror, but something about the way Matt looks just really did it for me, it’s so difficult to explain but his physical appearance fits the overall image of someone with an obsessive attitude towards a loved one.

Three words. Found footage horror. These kind of horror movies scare me the most because of that idea of it being ‘found footage’. Equally, ‘based on true story’ horrors also mildly unsettle me just because of that idea that it’s been reimagined from a real life event.

Matt’s found footage is giving ‘The Blair Witch Project’, I can defintely see him out in the wilderness with a bunch of his really close friends, all with camcorders in their hands as they document their time camping in the woods. Until everything goes terribly wrong. And they get lost. And are picked off one by one until Matt is the only one standing.

There is no soundtrack this time, just heavy breathing, crunching leaves underneath running footsteps, the sound of the wind in the trees and the occasional blood curdling shriek of whatever is hunting them down.

Chris:

Now onto Chris… most people often think Chris would thrive in a classic 90’s slasher flick- like ‘Scream’ or ‘Friday the 13th’ which I’m not going to argue against because he really would look great in one. It fits his overall vibe of being the jock boyfriend that is one of the first ones to die after him and his girlfriend stupidly break off from the group to ‘fool around’.

HOWEVER, I personally think that a game show gore horror is more his speed, it fits his skill set better. I feel like Chris would be really versatile in this kind of high-pressure environment and I’d honestly love to see him in a franchise like the ‘Saw’ movies (I want to hear him whimpering in pain) -WHAT…? Who said that??

This Chris is just an ordinary guy who works an ordinary but depressingly mundane job that does not come with the best pay… so what happens when he gets an ad mailed through his letter box promising money to whoever volunteers to try out this new and exciting game for a reality tv show? Well it’s simple, Chris would do anything for a dollar, so he signs up- not taking into account at all about how advertisements like this aren’t normally personally mailed to a person and that quite possibly this letter had actually been specifically targeted to people who were known to be in desperate need of some spare change.

The result? A wicked sadist trapping these poor people into machines and torturing them for his own personal gain.

(Fuck I love this idea)

This next one is a bit of a curve ball but roll with me here… a deep sea horror. Fun fact about me, I have horrible thalassophobia, and a severe fear of sharks (I know, stupid) but I can’t help it lol, they terrify me. However, still rolling with the overall cocky/jock/playboy characterisation of Chris, I could definitely picture him being some form of deep sea diving protege that’s a cave diving expert.

He’s a side character in the thriller that is called in when they need help with locating whatever monster lurks beneath the waves. Due to his speciality in the field, he’s one of the best, and co-leads a team of divers through a cave to see if they can sus out its location.

This Chris likes to wear a lot of blue things, and he’s constantly either smugly chewing on gum or is biting a toothpick within his teeth with an air of superiority about him. The soundtrack helps with the overall gritting suspense of the movie and keeps you on the edge of your seat constantly with jump-scares around every corner.

And finally, who the fuck would I be if I didn’t rope Chris into a zombie/pandemic apocalypse horror? Because this kind of movie has Chris written all over it, real TWD style. For some reason, within the whole horror genre in its entirety Chris fits the branch of gore horror the best, blood, guts and big spectacles of action packed violence. You name it, Chris looks like he could be apart of it.

In an apocalypse kind of situation, Chris would definitely be either a side character who you meet maybe about half way through the series - possibly from some other rival gang that threatens to steal your weapons - or one of the original main characters that have survived thus far. His weapon of choice is definitely either a trusty crowbar, or a classic metal baseball bat, something that he can really swing and satisfy his frenzied killing needs with.

Aesthetics wise, he wear a black bandana to keep the hair out of his face, a white tank top and army green cargo shorts. Pair them with some heavy duty black boots and you’ve got yourself a mighty attractive apocalypse survivor to spend the rest of your shortened life span with.

Author’s notes: someone needs to take my phone AND my imagination away from me immediately at this point, it’s too powerful when they’re put together. I get wayyyy too carried away with this shit lol. I have such a vivid imagination it’s insane to me, I be writing whole ass screen plays for these Jesus Christ. But anyways, I wanna see those two in a horror movie so fucking bad (if you couldn’t tell hehe). Or maybe just watch a horror movie with them… like- dw baby boy I’ll hold your hand at the scary bits hahahaha.

You were late, and Azul was panicking. Why were you late? Did you just not want to see him? Were you just blowing him off? Azul as terrified of you not coming, not wanting to see him.

Upon seeing the doors open, revealing you, in a dress similar to that of the Sea Princesses, Azul's jaw dropped. He straightened his back upon seeing you come his way.

He gave a small laugh, "well.. you look.. wonderful." You couldn't help the small laugh that came from you, "Thank you. You can blame Vil, he wouldn't let me come in a normal outfit." You laughed.

Azul gave a laugh in return, holding his hand out toward you upon hearing a slow song start overhead. "May I.. have this dance?" He asked, obviously nervous for your response.

You gave a smile and took his hand, "You may." Azul smiled and led you to the dance floor, one hand gliding toward your hip, and the other taking your own hand.

As you danced, he cleared his throat. "If I may, I have something to tell you." You nodded, motioning for him to continue. He gave a small, nervous chuckle. "I think I... No, I know that I love you." He said quickly, before giving a sigh. "That.. wasn't as bad as I'd suspected." He said with a nervous laugh, awaiting your response.

With a small laugh and shake of your head, you responded. "I love you too, Azul."

Jade Leech ;; Octavinelle Vice-Housewarden ;; Second Year

You hung out with the tweel, not exactly fond of the dance floor, especially while wearing heels and a puffy, long dress. "Hey, Jade. Are you good at dancing?"

Jade gave a chuckle, "Why, I'd say I'm all right, but I wouldn't say I'm the best." He admitted, "Although, Floyd is a much better dancer than myself." Jade gave one of his normal, light chuckles.

"Despite how good my other half is at dancing, he finds it.. boring and uninteresting." Jade hummed, taking a sip from the punch he held in his hand.

You gave a laugh, "yeah, that sounds like Floyd." Jade simply nodded in response. "Say, may I talk to you after the ball is through? I have something to tell you." He told you, finishing off his punch.

Your brows furrowed in confusion, but you nodded nonetheless. After some more conversation with the eel, the ball was over and Jade guided you outside to somewhere quiet and concluded.

Jade turned to you, "I must admit to you that you are quite entertaining. Assuming you know my brother and I as well as you do, you know that we are very fond of those who are entertaining."

You listened, giving a nod toward the end. "Which is where I'd like to tell you that I-" A shout was heard from a tree, looking over, a fallen Floyd laid on his back at the bottom of the tree. "Oh, just tell 'em, stupid."

Jade and yourself couldn't help but laugh, "tell me what?" You asked. "I love you." He said simply, kissing your forehead lightly.

Floyd Leech ;; Octavinelle ;; Second Year

Floyd had even shocked himself upon asking you to this ball, he had no intent on even coming in the first place. But the idea of seeing you in a dress, all completely dressed up, had him in a chokehold.

"Woah. You look nice." Floyd blinked, and you laughed in response. "Thank you, Floyd." He nodded and held a cup of punch toward you, and you took it. You thanked him once more before taking a sip on it.

"Hey, Shrimpy." Floyd said, getting your attention. "Yeah? What's up?" You asked. "What do you say we get out of here?" You blinked, "Floyd, we both just got here." You said with a laugh. "I know, but if we stay any longer then Crabby or Little Mackerel will come up and steal you. So." He said, making a popping sound with his lips as he waited for your response.

You shook your head with a laugh and nodded, "alright, but where do you want to go?" Floyd shrugged, "I don't care." You laughed, before taking his hand and simply taking him back to Ramshackle.

His eyes were glued to his hand even after you'd gotten to Ramshackle. You snorted, "Floyd." You said, waving a hand in front of his face. "Huh?"

"what's up with you?" You laughed, and Floyd shrugged in response, simply resting his chin on your head. He spoke up after minutes of standing like that. "Hey, Shrimpy?" He said, "yeah?"

"Love you." He said simply, kissing the top of your head before reverting back to resting his chin on top of your head.

Summary: You’ve been taking unnecessary risks on missions, trying to show off and impress a certain Spider-Man. It has the opposite effect, only worrying the man and making him question you. After you joke around and play off the danger, he uses a special tactic to make sure you learn your lesson.

Your life was interesting, to say the least. For the past seven months, you had been your universe’s one and only spider person. That…that was hard. Especially when you had nobody to turn to. Trying to stay in school and keep the city safe was easier said than done, and it was still a mouthful. That stress took its toll on you, and it wasn’t pretty. Long story short, you managed to isolate yourself from everyone who cared.

On one particular night, you were fighting a strange villain you’d never seen before. He…kinda looked like he had a fishbowl on his head; his appearance was cartoonish. Called himself Mysterio. The guy kept yelling about his revenge; how Stark, whoever that was, wronged him. Just another crazy guy. Unfortunately, he was a very powerful crazy guy.

He gave you everything he had. Mists, holograms, hallucinations. You were reeling, struggling to stay in the fight. Mysterio prayed on your anxieties, your fears, your past: everything you had been facing. One thing was painfully clear. 

You couldn’t do it alone.

And that’s when your luck turned. A bright flash of orange and red light broke through the green smoke, someone’s booming voice bringing you back to reality. Glowing red webs popped the hologram devices, a blue-and-red suited man landing a hit square in the fish bowl. 

In a few quick strikes, the fight was over. The man caught your attention with his fighting skills and quick thinking. You could tell he was trying to keep Mysterio away from you. When the fight was over, you rushed over to him, trying to get any information from him. 

He looked you over, having LYLA scan your signature. You were…all alone. Everyone you loved had been shoved away. The man related a bit too closely to that…

Before you could come off as completely desperate, he tossed you a watch and waved you towards an open portal. The rest was history.

The man, Miguel O’Hara, took you under his wing. He was a bit temperamental, but it was clear he cared for you. No matter how many stupid mistakes you made, how many anomalies got the drop on you, he was right there. You definitely grew attached, placing him high on your mantle. You wanted to impress him, though that was more difficult than it seemed. Pushing your limits, you gave every mission your all, even if it put you at risk. You were fine. Just needed to do better.

Miguel was concerned. No, scratch that, he was worried and downright anxious for your every move. Why were you taking so many unnecessary risks?! He certainly hadn’t taught you that, though a few names came to mind… Regardless, it was a habit you had to drop.

The mission you went on that day was the last straw. It was a low-grade villain, just an average Kraven. Easy catch-and-send; only you didn’t make it easy. 

Kraven had laid all sorts of traps, though thanks to his brightly-colored universe, they were detectable. At least, they would’ve been if you hadn’t rushed in. In your mind, the quicker you captured him, the more impressed Miguel would be. Bursting into action, you didn’t notice the traps and sprung a flash-bang snare. While you managed to dodge the wire, you were dazed and your spider sense was left reeling. Not good.

Struggling to your feet, you shot out webs in every direction, trying to nail him or at least get a sense of where he was. The flash wasn’t good, though if you still caught him, Miguel would at least be a little impressed. A yelp to your left got you what you needed. As you ran to try and web him up, you stepped on a wire; a wire connected to a high-voltage unit. The sound of the electricity hit your ears before the shock itself.

“What were you thinking?”

The dim lighting of Miguel’s office just made everything twice as intimidating. You had gotten a clean bill of health from the med bay, though it didn’t make you feel any better. It felt like you let him down. When you shrugged, he sighed, running a hand down his face.

“Malditos adolescentes.” He mumbled under his breath, trying to stay calm and collected. Miguel was far from mad, but he was definitely worried, and yeah, a little annoyed that you kept ignoring your training. Still, he knew showing that would only upset you further. “You going to start talking or sit here in silence a little longer? It’s empanada day, and I’d be happier if you came clean.”

You rubbed your arm, remembering the way your nerves lit up from the trap. It was safe to say you were embarrassed to admit the real reason you rushed. “Uh…felt like I needed a little recharge?” Okay, dumb joke, but it’s how you dealt with stuff. How a lot of spider people dealt with stuff.

He huffed, not appreciating your attempt to play off his concern. “Look kid, I’m gonna tell you how it is. You’ve been rushing missions, over exerting yourself, and making risky calls I’ve never seen from you before. Tell me what’s going on with you. I promise I won’t get mad.” His voice softened at the end, his look shifting to one of concern and worry.

That made you pause. Lying wasn’t going to get you far, and it was really close to lunch… “I…kinda, sorta, maybe wanted to…ya know, i-impress you…” Your voice dropped off at the end as you suddenly found a scuff on the floor incredibly interesting.

“Kid…” Miguel paused, taking a deep breath. “C’mon. You know you don’t have to try and impress me. I just don’t want you making stupid mistakes and getting hurt.” It didn’t take a genius to decipher the look of guilt that went across your face. Miguel thought back to a few weeks ago, when you had gotten a minor side injury. He had bandaged you up and made a rather adorable discovery while doing so. That’d work.

Trying to control his expression, Miguel got closer, sitting beside you on the ledge. Miggy was trying to get better with his people skills, and since he met you,  he was doing good. “Look, burbujita, it’s okay. Get the guilt off your face, try a smile~” 

You understood where he was going with that immediately. You quickly shot out a web, shooting up towards his tall office cieling. He shook his head, a throaty chuckle escaping him before he followed. It was big, but he knew his office better than anyone. Silently, Miguel landed on the cieling, scanning for you.

A place where rebar met the ceiling gave you a place to crouch. You clamped your hand over your mouth, trying to hide any giggles or heavy breaths. Unbeknownst to you, it was the only spot up there like that. He knew exactly where you were.

Miguel crawled over, springing up and grabbing you by the waist. He huffed at your shriek of surprise, carefully dropping back down and sitting you down on one of the ledges. He wrapped an arm around your shoulders, sitting beside you and pulling you close. If he hadn’t been planning such silly antics, it would’ve been sweet.

Before you could try to shove him off, you felt five clawed fingers on your side. The arm around your shoulders tightened, blocking any escape routes. “M-miguehehehel?!” Tickling was the last thing you expected; maybe yelling or a two-week probation, but that? And he was so smug about it, too.

“You should really laugh more, kid. That sound? Que lindo…” Miguel raked his claws up and down your side, being extra careful not to scratch you. You twisted and squirmed in his grip, but it was solid; you weren’t going anywhere. “Cohohome ohon! Ihi’m sohohory!”

He clicked his tongue, shaking his head. “None of those apologies. Just stop putting yourself at risk, kid. I’m proud of you for just putting the mask on and going out to fight. You don’t need to overdo it.” Your cheeks reddened at the praise, though you blamed it on the silliness. 

Just when you thought he was done, you felt the claws move to your belly; specifically, he started on your navel. Ignoring your squeal of protest, he dug in. “They really need to make these suits thicker, huh? Great for flexibility, though not too good against wiggling fingers.”

You kicked your feet, squealing and laughing like a little kid. Miguel found it adorable. When he first met you, you were stuck in worries and the unpleasantness of life. It was nice to see you just let loose and laugh, even if it was a little unprofessional. 

He caught the redness of your cheeks, deciding to tease you just a bit further. “You’re so red, kid. Should I start calling you cara rosa?” Feeling your face heat up further, you tried to hide it in his chest. He tugged your shoulder, keeping your red face where he could see it. It was cute.

Wanting to hit one more spot before he quit, Miguel moved to claw at your ribs. He climbed up and down your ribcage, trying to get as many happy giggles out of you as he could. “You gonna stop trying to impress me and just do your best?” 

You nodded, thrashing like a worm on a hook. “Yehehes! Ihi prohohomise!” Miguel chuckled, pinching your side one last time before stopping. He rubbed your back, hugging you close and trying to help you settle down. “Was that so hard?” A small laugh escaped him at the look he received. “Alright, alright, I’m done. If you ever feel like that again, just tell me. I’ll help.”

Right as he stopped talking, a small sound made him smile further. You groaned, hiding your face in your hands. “Guess I tired you out, didn’t I? We should go get you some lunch.” He patted your shoulder with a smirk, standing up and walking to the door. You cursed your stomach’s stupid growl before following, reflecting on everything that had happened to you since you got bit. Living with a man who cares about you, working to keep the spider-verse and all the people within it safe. Yeah, not a bad way to live…

Tom Kaulitz x fem reader !!

When your friends invited you to go to Hawaii with them you immediately started packing all of your clothes. You were beyond excited to go since you have heard super nice things about Hawaii, you were especially excited to go to the beach.

You’ve heard how beautiful the ocean was and you couldn’t wait to go see it for yourself, not to mention you get to spend time with your best friends.

After about a week of being in Hawaii, they finally took you to the beach after begging and begging.

Bill was also pretty excited to go too, as you both have been talking about it ever since they invited you.

Once you got there you immediately took off your flip flops in the sand and walked closer to the water.

Feeling the cool water touch your feet made you shiver slightly, getting a bit cold.

You wore some shorts and a swim top since you were all going to go swimming but you didn’t expect the water to be a bit cold so you didnt bring a jacket. (Pretend its been rainy over there and not so hot.)

You jumped as you felt some arms wrap around you, “oh my god, you scared me!” You said as you turned around and saw tom, smiling.

He chuckled and pulled something out of his pocket, “wanna smoke this with me?” He said, with a grin on his face.

You looked around and saw the others talking, “Mm, sure.” You said grabbing his hand and walking around until you found a spot.

He lit it up and took a quick puff out of it before handing it to you, you grabbed it and put it up to your lips, taking a hit.

You blushed as his fingers would slightly graze yours while taking the joint from you as you both passed it back and fourth, until it was all finished.

“Hey, look at that flower!” You said, walking over to a small beautiful flower, that was all by its self.

Your eyes opened as your jaw dropped, seeing more than just one flower, there was multiple scattered all around.

Your eyes lit up as you saw all of the gorgeous hibiscus flowers and plants all around you.

You felt tom grab your chin, slowly moving your head to make eye contact with him as he moved some of your hair behind and placing a beautiful hibiscus flower behind your ear.

You face heated up quickly, as a bright shade of red spread across your face. A small smile appeared on toms face.

“A gorgeous flower for a gorgeous girl.” He said, winking at you, leaning in closer to your face.

Youve had a crush on tom for the longest time now and you were getting nervous, since you never expected him to go farther than just flirting with you.

You heard laughing from behind you, making you back away and turn around seeing everyone laughing at the both of you.

Now this time toms face turned red as they walked up to you both, “AWW TOM!” Bill said, teasing his twin, and laughing in his face.

“aww did we ruin your guy’s moment?” Gustav said, also laughing. “Poor tommy, he didnt get his kiss.” Georg said.

You blushed and turned away, embarrassed. “Be quiet, lets just go, i wanna swim.” Tom said, rolling his eyes.

“Arent you gonna kiss your gorgeous girl? Or are you gonna leave her waiting.” Bill said, raising his eyebrows up and down, smirking at him.

Tom was already far away, trying to ignore all the teasing that he was getting from his brother and friends.

“Cant hear you!” He said, walking away even faster, they all laughed at him, and you eventually let out a giggle or two.

The way his face turned into a shade of pink was adorable, although you wish they wouldnt have ruined the moment between you two but things happen.

you stared at him with a smile on your face, seeing how they tease him.

“Come on! Lets get in the water nowww!” Bill said walking over to the water.

You stayed behind and looked down at your feet, moving your toes in the warm sand.

arms wrapped around you, but this time you knew who it was, the scent was familiar. Making you smile to yourself.

“How come you keep coming up from behind me? Are you trying to scare me or something?” You said, laughing.

You heard him chuckle and turn you around to face him, “No, just really like hugging you from behind.” He said, smiling.

You laughed and smiled, as you held eye contact. He put his hand on your cheek placing his lips onto yours, you stood in shock, not knowing what to do, but just melted into the kiss.

He pulled away and had a big smile on his face, with a slight tint of pink of his cheeks.

“Race ya to the water!” He said running, “Hey! no fair! You got a head start!!” you said, yelling and pulling your shorts down quickly, running behind him into the water.

“Hey! Wait up!” You said going into the water, immediately splashing him. “Hey!” He said splashing you back.

my idea:

when dropping y/n off at school, he briefly spots something on her neck but doesn’t get a chance to ask her because she gets off the car pretty fast so when Heethan texts her, she plays dumb the entire time and to make it worse, says it might have gotten from a guy 👀

April Fools

The girls had introduced their traditional act of a prank draw for April Fools. Each person was to draw out a ticket from a fishbowl and commit to a prank against their boyfriend, and to your dismay, you drew out the worst possible one you could imagine, the fake hickey prank. 

Your heart fell into your stomach upon seeing the ticket, and you begged to swap it out but the girls were relentless in seeing you suffer at the hands of your man, considering everyone knew how Heesueng was with you.

He LOVED you…yet you felt like your life was about to be cut short after conducting this prank. 

In the girls bathroom, you became overwhelmingly nervous as it was closer to time when Heeseung would pick you up. The girls had collected a variety of purple, blue and even brown eye shadows and applied dabs of it on the side of your neck to make it appear as a real hickey. 

“Voila!” 

“Wow it really looks like a legit hickey.”

“Oh poor y/n hahahahahaha”

You stood there with your eyes closed, brows furrowed, and in complete fear as your hands began to shake. 

Not only did the girls enforced you to keep your ticket, they also made you wear one of Heeseung’s favorite mini sun dresses to add a bit of sting once you reveal the fake hickey, and tell him that you got it from another boy. 

“Okay, so you have to tell him that after he dropped you off, you skipped class with a boy. You’ll tell him that you were taking photos of you pretending to hug and cuddle with the boy as an “April Fools” joke, but then you got too carried away and let the guy continue in the midst of passion and he gave you a hickey. Got it?”

The girls scoffed and chuckled upon hearing the regulation of your prank. 

“I…I really don’t think I can do this…” you softly spoke, your voice shaken from the chills at imagining Heeseung’s face. 

“Come on Y/N, we all did ours. Just do it, it will be so fun. Well immediately tell and show him it’s fake after you pull his string for a few minutes.”

Nodding hesitantly, you reluctantly agreed. Suddenly H/N appears busting through the bathroom door. 

“Oh my God! Oh my God! Ethan’s here!” 

Your eyes widened and you grabbed on to one of the girls arms for dear life. 

‘No, no, no, no! God help me I’m going to die…’ 

They push you out of the girls bathroom, forcing you to make your way out of the exit. Seeing Heeseung’s car parked along the curb, you gulped. Unlike some of the other boys, Heeseung had so much on his plate that he didn’t even realize it was April Fools day. H/n made Jake promise to not reveal the date or the prank to him, since she had already got her fill and conducted her prank earlier in the day. 

Walking slowly up to his car, you wished, for once, that his windows were not tinted as you couldnt see his face through the glass. You wondered if he was already looking at you.

Your hair laid down, it was his favorite way of you wearing it, just all natural and free as it frames your face. 

Opening the door, you felt a chill run up your spine the moment you got a swift sniff of his cologne as you sat inside next to him on the front passenger seat. He was on the middle of sending out a mass group text to his peers to remind them of their assignments due date as he had assisted his professor with teaching and leading exam prep. 

As he remained focused on the screen, he speaks out, 

“Hey pretty baby, how was your day?”

You were so glad he was still staring at the screen, otherwise you would not have been confidant enough to answer right back. 

“…fine…how was yours?”

“Good. Just sending out a reminder real quick. Had a busy day.”

“Oh?…”

“Yeah, my professor left early so I had to-“

He glances up to see as your hair was all swooped over to the opposite shoulder, with some shorter layered pieces near the front falling along your neckline as it subtly covers the fake hickey…but not enough to go unnoticed. The very second he lifted his gaze he went silent, yet his eyes remained on your neck. 

Meanwhile, you tucked in your lips and stared out through your window, wincing your eyes shut as you took in the silence. You hear him put his phone down and as he continued to remain focused on your sight, you hear his hand lift up and reach over to you, in attempt to move the pieces of your hair away from your neck. 

“Uh I forgot something I’ll be right back!!”

You quickly ushered as you got out of the car and ran back inside the building. What frightened you even more was the fact that he didnt even try to stop you, grab on to you, yell or chase you down. 

‘He actually let me get away?’ 

Most times, Heeseung was quick to snag your wrist or your waist before you could even move an inch, yet this time, it appeared he was in such shock that he didn’t exhibit the viper strike speed of his hand like he normally did. 

You saw up ahead and watched as the girls all laughed and pointed at you, knowing full well they had watched through the window and were waiting for you to bust in, yet upon realizing that Heeseung wasn’t coming after you, everyone grew confused, as did you. 

“What the hell? Y/n, does he know it’s a prank?”

“No, I don’t think so…”

“Then why isn’t he coming for you?”

“I…I don’t-“

Suddenly your phone vibrates, a text from Heeseung came in…

You nearly started to hyperventilate as you read his texts.

‘Oh my God…I’m dead…’

The girls all peered in as they took a glance at the text, which enabled them to enthusiastically remind you of the format in your prank. 

“Remember! You have to tell him it’s from a boy while you were skipping class!”   They all issued out and laughed, knowing full well that you were scared beyond shitless. 

You stopped texting at noticing that Heeseung didn’t go on a rampage or rant out with his interrogational rant. There was absolutely no text back. 

After telling the girls of his lack of response, you began to tell them that the prank has to be called off, that you had taken it way too far. 

Suddenly the door behind you opens, turning around you see Heeseung walking slowly over towards you. His hat covered his eyes in their usual fashion, but there was something very eerie with the way he looked compared to how he normally did. And it wasn’t just the fact that his Ethan side had emerged. 

Not saying a word, his chin tilted down, he walks over, upon breaching you you noticed a pair of black, fingerless martial arts gloves adorning his hands. The sleeves of his black tanker jacket rolled a quarter way up, left completely unzipped as he displayed the semi-fitted white tee-shirt underneath, which subtly showed off his lean muscle. Earlier you thought he looked incredibly sexy with how his ensemble paired nicely with his straight jeans and boots. Now, you were terrified as he resembled a hit man for hire. 

The girls all rushed over to cover you and began explaining the prank as they hurdled around, taking notice of the man’s fierce demeanor.

“Ethan! Ethan! It was a prank! It was a prank, we all did the fishbowl prank like in high school. Remember? Remember Vicky used to do it to you?”

“Yeah it’s all good Ethan. It was a prank, y/n would never…”

They all fell silent and their eyes widened with fear as he ignored their words and continued to walk through them, his frame and slow pace pushes them off to the side as he walked into some of the girls that remained steadfast in blocking you, yet in the end, they all cleared the path at seeing his tenacity to get to you, despite how slow he was walking. 

You merely stood there with a look of fear and aloofness as your expression told him that you were flying the white flag of mercy. Your eyes began to start tearing up and getting glossy as he stood right in front of you.

He lifts his chin just enough to reveal and peek one eye from under his cap. The shadow still tinting his face as he looks into your eyes, a ghostly smirk appears from the side of his mouth. Reaching up, he gently placed his hand on the side of your neck, resting it on the corner of where the neckline meets the shoulder. With the extension of his thumb, he presses down on the mark, and drags it downward, smearing the eyeshadow, revealing that it indeed was fake, though it didn’t make you feel any better, especially at feeling the leather of those fingerless gloves, which you were deathly afraid at figuring what was going through his mind when he placed them on and came to find you. 

Still displaying his devilish smirk, he finally spoke.

“You in a mood to play pranks today, babydoll? Hmm?”

The combination of the low tone in his growling voice and the pet name reflected that he had totally gone to his Ethan side, lacking all the softness, rationality, and gentleness of his Heeseung side. 

You just stood frozen staring at him with the stinging moisture covering your eyes as you felt like you wanted to scream and cry. You felt scared…really scared. With your lips slightly parted, you watched as he slightly tilted his head to take a closer look at the fake hickey, before he shifted his shadowed eyes to you and grinned once more.

Upon hearing his question, the girls all started to rush in from behind him as they issued out words to explain yet again, that the prank was part of their yearly traditions. Yet the moment that Ethan snapped his head over, glaring a deathly gaze in his side eye to them, they all stopped, retracted, and looked away as they issued whispers of how great it was in knowing you. 

Turning his face back to you, his smirk re-appears. It was sinister, eerie, and teasingly deceiving.

You shook your head and finally responded to his question.

“N-no…”

“Oh?” Here merely responds with his eyebrows raised.

He leans in and softly buried his face into your ear, softly taking in the scent of your hair surrounding it. You felt his mouth gasping open right over it, the vapor of his hot breath submerging directly into your ear canal as he softly kisses it in very slow motion. In between his soft and gasping kisses he finished his statement.

“I *kiss* think *kiss* you *kiss* are.” Each kiss was filled with a soft gasp, it was sickening and tenderly sweet with how his lips tapped on your ear as he softly and calmly spoke into it with his deep and alluring voice.

“Well since you’re in a playful mood, let’s go and…play.” 

Quietly taking you by the hand, he leads you out of the building, still walking at a slowed pace, which made you feel even worse. His grip on your hand tightened the moment you exit the building. Guiding you into your seat, he walks around and seats himself, driving back to his room as if nothing had happened. The car ride was silent and awkward, all you could do was sit there and stare at the flooring of the car while your hands remained on your lap. 

You tried to apologize, feeling terrible at how the whole thing turned out. 

“I’m sorr-“

“Shhhhhh..”

His shushing cut you off as he stared at the road, yet the moment he issued it, his eyes widened and that sinister smirk re-appeared. Even though he was looking at the road, you felt ultimate fear upon seeing it from the side. 

Finally, you both arrived at the frat house. Getting out, he walks over and takes you by the hand and leads you out of the car and into the house. Walking in, you shuddered at the fact that he was still walking in a calm, quiet, and slowed pace. The moment he started to lead you up the stairs, you heard him humming…

“Ethan, what song are you humming?”

He merely grinned and chuckles without looking back at you. 

Entering his room, he guides you in first.

Reaching behind, without breaking his gaze on you, he locks the door, takes the key, and tosses it off the side without even looking at where it went. You hear the metal sound of the key bouncing off the floor, that was when you felt internal panic. 

“Uhh…Ethan?”

Still humming and grinning, he passes you as he heads over to his closet, where he started to dig out something. 

“Ah-ha. Found it.”  He calmly stated, nearly in a whisper.

‘Found what?’ You wondered.

Taking out a gym bag, he pulls out something that you couldn’t make out. 

“Here.” He calmly states.

Tossing the item to you, he follows on with “Put it on.” His tone still deep, low, and calm.

You looked at him in confusion as you held the piece in your hand.

“Wh- what is it?”

He smirks.

You’ve packed his gym attire and did his laundry countless times, never have you once seen this item inside his bag, he must have gotten it within the week while you were so busy with your class work, it was the only time you hadn’t gone into his bag to clean his clothes.

Upon hearing your question, he tilts his head and smiles yet again. His grin was so….

Scary.

“Ah, that’s right. You’ll need instructions on how to put it on, won’t you?” 

Devilishly grinning, tilting his head, bearing a slight bit of teeth as he eerily stares his smile your way, he reaches into the bag…not even breaking that sinister gaze or smirk away from you.  A chill stuns your spine.

Grabbing a piece of paper that was neatly folded, he tosses it to you. 

“Now…go put it on for daddy.” He chuckles.

You unfold the paper, it displayed instructions on how to put on the item properly.

It wasn’t until you saw the image of the item in proper wear that your body was jolted with lightening bolts of fear and panic. Your breathing heightened to an unsteady state.

Looking up at him, you saw that he stood, still grinning and looking at you with wide, piercing eyes while the shadow of his cap hovered over half his face.

Chuckling, he lowly spits out.

“Let’s play.”

A Glimpse in Jinyoung Park's Basement (Headcanons)

most of these are scenarios and in Jinyoung's POV

Being a madman of a scientist Jinyoung Park is, he kept himself busy and always cooped up inside his lab.

He's probably spending most of his time formulating drugs and injecting them to his newfound guinea pigs, namely:

Daniel: the mysterious guy Eugene brought to him. He was shocked to discover his body's completeness and continued to inject drugs into him to test his limits. But ever since finding his secret about his two bodies, he decided to leave him in deep sleep (as shown in the webtoon). This is to probably wake up his other body (little Daniel) since he kept this body awake for too long. His other body might die of fatigue.

Next was Johan: He'd be unconscious the entire time (a well-deserved rest for the poor guy who's been soloing for too long) and if ever he wakes up, it'd just be for a short time and Jinyoung would probably go easy on him because he sees that he wasn't "smiling" and didn't attempt to smooth talk him like Daniel did. So he wasn't that harsh on him and just gave him sleep shots and pain relievers. He'd probably notice his right eye, too. and oh my god, I think Jinyoung Park might be able to cure his eyes 🥹😭😭 (yes im rly holding on to that pls daddy jinyoung i believe you're rly a nice guy 🥺)

On the other hand, Samuel 💀💀: Poor kid constantly triggers Jinyoung's sadistic tendencies to the point of using "toys" to basically toy with him. 💀 The scene where he screamed when he woke up in the lab probably pissed off Jinyoung and gave him a bad impression (the old man's p sensitive lol). Because of that, he's now getting most of Jinyoung's wack test drugs 🥹 (rip sammy big F)

The mad scientist seems to know the workings of body switching, based on his reaction to Daniel. So, it's either he knows one with the same case, or he might be even one of them too, or... he's the one responsible for the "switching between two bodies" phenomenon (a failed experiment, perhaps?)

Jinyoung also mentioned how he hated smiling when he talked to Daniel: he could be referring to a person's optimism/carefreeness (prolly consciousness or sanity too), he hated how people are breezily living their life without worries, unlike him who suffered all his life living on edge struck with anxiety (i might also just be overthinking that scene lol).

Although, Jinyoung had some sane moments when he'd sit down and talk to himself/to his three unconscious labrats. He goes on and on about his good ol' days in their fist gang: armwrestling with Gapryong, zooming around Seoul with their driver, Noh Bakgu, and keeping in touch with them and their fist's other members.

He talked about how he was filled with joy after receiving the news of Gapryong finally having a child with his wife--and how he proudly told how he closely resembled him.

He talked about how he would've loved to meet his mini version, and talk about life after they disbanded.

Jinyoung, through Noh Bakgu and Choi Bongae, was able to convene all their remaining members to help him out crack the unsolved case.

He's also heard of Chungcheong's 1st Gen King, Kwak Jichang, who offered his and his gang's hand in the investigation. He wants to personally meet him to show his gratitude for his aid.

Aside from gang stories, he would share some of his personal life too: what his childhood dream was (to become a community doctor), how his life was like outside fights, and meeting the only woman he ever loved, but eventually had to give her up to his childhood friend so that she won't get roped into gang wars.

His ramblings and storytelling usually end up with him getting stressed and agitated at the memory of Gapryong's death, which would activate his unhinged state.

But if any of them is awake tho, Samuel, most of the time, he'd ask more about how Gapryong was like in their younger years (yeah he's still gapryong's #1 fangirl duh) which makes his ramblings a lot longer, easing his stress/anger levels... up until he gets ticked off by Samuel's cocky attitude and subjects him to more of his ruthless experiments.

(he's actually glad he at least has an audience for his stories, it lightens up the burden he'd been carrying)

Even though I didn’t personally like this book I think me and Keeho would have different tastes. He doesn’t read but I think Sally Rooney is a good author for people who are starting to read in adulthood. It’s a realistic book and it’s easy to read which I think Keeho would like and he’d feel smart after reading it. Also it’s about human relations which i think he’d be interested in

Jiung: The Stranger - Albert Camus

Im pretty sure he also said he doesn’t read so I’d recommend him a book that’s short but has a lot to say. He’s a very smart guy and The Stranger is a philosophical novel. It’s a book about the searching for meaning but also about isolation, death and the absurd of life.

Intak: Metro 2033 - Dmitry Glukhovsky

I think Intak would like a book with a lot of action and adventure. The Metro series is a dystopian story about people living in the Moscow metro after a nuclear war. The series has a very clear anti war message but it’s also very fun. It has aliens, mutated creatures and a lot of cool world building.

Jongseob: Solaris - Stanisław Lem

This is a modern classic philosophical science fiction novel. It can be challenging for some people but the overall conclusion of the book is jaw dropping. The main themes of the book are the inadequacy of the human mind and the idea that humans aren’t the centre of the universe.

Please bare in mind that there are some problematic things in todays standards but the book was written in the 60s and most of it holds to this day

Soul: The Raven Boys - Maggie Stiefvater

It’s a cool story full of suspense and mystery. It’s a modern fantasy with vivid and relatable characters. The main character is a independent, quirky person Soul might find relatable. It’s super fun and easy to read and the story is very unusual and unexpected.

Don’t worry about answering this is you don’t want to. I know you don’t like fandom wank. But, if you feel like it, do you think someone could make those endpoints work? Bran as king and Jon at the Wall even though there’s a big old hole in it and Dany deliberately burning King’s Landing before Jon or Arya kills her, is that an ending any writer, no matter their skill, could sell to the hardcore fans? I don’t think the fandom would accept it even if GRRM wrote it.

lololol I deleted my post already anon, so for those of you who didn't read it - I was once again whining about how d&d fucked up the last bunch of seasons and every character. it's not a new take, just something I was high thinking in the shower, so I deleted it bc it wasn't productive.

But I'll answer this, because I think it's interesting.

In short - no.

(Beneath the cut for a longer explanation and just a whole bunch of my ranty thoughts. pls remember I am no asoiaf scholar and I haven't studied every aspect of the books or read every meta. These are just my opinions.)

Longer - at this point, too much time has gone by, there is literally no way George can please... probably even half of his fanbase, no matter what he does. From what I can tell, the fandom too divided and there's so much hatred between stan groups (which I do find ridiculous, but it is what it is). People have cemented their own ending in their heads after decades of the fandom existing without an official ending, and I can see a lot of them not liking that they're wrong. Some people have spent 30 years with their theories, it's sunk cost fallacy. Case in point, the show ending being written off as fanfiction by a lot of fans.

which, tangent, I get. I GET why d stans don't believe the ending, because it was so poorly executed. I truly do understand their denial, because the show gaslit the audience for soooooo long that she was the girlboss hero and then seemed to do a 180 at the end. What was that post I just reblogged the other day? I don't hate villains, I hate when the narrative tries to convince you the bad person is actually good.

now, you asked if anyone could make those endpoints work, but I don't actually think most of them are the real endpoints? I think they were D&D giving up and not trying, or going for Shock Value™. But for fun, I'm gonna go by endpoints I think are most to least likely, and my thoughts on how they could happen and how D&D fucked them up.

Bran as king: Confirmed by grrm. How he'll make this work, I have no idea. I genuinely didn't see it coming tbh. I thought the "bittersweet" ending would be Jon being forced to take the crown in KL. like it's a good ending for everyone else, but for him it's misery. I'm sure grrm has his plans, and I'd be interested to see how he pulls it off. This end point does not disappoint me and I'm not mad at being wrong, but I can see a HUGE swath of people HATING it. specifically D stans.

D&D blew this hard. They cut Bran out of an entire season, making him seem to the audience like a lesser character and not important. They made him a robot. Why am I rooting for show!Bran? Also, I will never, ever get over that line - who has a better story than Bran the Broken? I don't know Tyrion, literally everyone else?? JON DIED AND CAME BACK TO LIFE. ahem.

(as far as I'm aware, Bran as king is the only ending grrm has confirmed?? correct me if I'm wrong.)

D as the big bad: I guess grrm hasn't officially confirmed this, but... he's sort of confirmed it, riiiiight? He compared dragons to nuclear weapons. The show has her as the villain (poorly executed or not). When I gave hotd a shot, literally the opening lines were about the Targs bringing themselves down immediately after name dropping her. Seems pretty solid to me. D&D just refused to commit to her villain arc because they didn't want to alienate their audience that they'd gaslit into thinking she was the hero, and they were seemingly obsessed with Shock Value™ twists.

Dany burning KL: I think the burning of KL is going to happen, and it seems like Dany is the only one to really do it? Unclear how it will happen, I'm sure people have theories. What the show didn't have was Aegon, so who knows how he'll factor in.

Arya sailing west: I think there's a lot of foreshadowing for it. It fits her nature. I think this is very likely to happen and I guess D&D handled it ok. They did ruin her character, though, by making her a literal mass murderer. But yayyyyyy feminism I guess.

Theon sacrificing himself for Bran: Theon's was the only arc I think the show did well. They ruined it at the end by having Theon literally throw himself onto the Night King's sword, which was so fucking stupid, but the arc itself is poignant and fits his character. While he can't ever redeem himself to Robb, he can redeem himself to Robb's siblings, and considering he once pretended to kill Bran, I think this is solid.

Cersei and Jaime dying together: this was my theory even before the show ending, and I think it fits their characters. They cannot live without each other, no matter if they hate each other. They're too deeply entwined in each other. Now, I personally wanted Cersei to be taken captive and put in the black cells to be publicly burned later, and then Jaime shows up and mercy kills her and then himself bc he can't live without her.

But I guess getting bonked on the head by some avoidable rocks is also a way to do it

Sansa as QitN: I'll be honest and say I hated this ending because she ended up alone. Sansa, who has wanted nothing more than family and safety since book 1, ends up completely alone. Even Brienne, her sworn shield, leaves her. but she's a queen, so yayyyy feminism I guess.

I can see her as queen, but I can also see her ending up as queen regent for Rickon, because I'm not totally convinced Rickon dies? like in the show he just randomly shows up and gets captured by Ramsay and it just feels like that isn't his arc in the books. Maybe I'm wrong. But I could see D&D having the endpoint of Sansa as regent, but they killed Rickon off already for Shock Value™, and so they went oops! and made her queen.

Now, there is a part of me that thinks she will not be queen or queen regent, because how does one break off and declare independence from their own brother? Feels like that would destabilize his rule and not give people much faith in him. It just seems really strange to me, but I guess it could happen, since Northern Independence is such a huge theme and it would be weird if it didn't happen?? Does Bran just let her secede? And it doesn't make Dorne or the Iron Islands try.... That's the part in the show that literally did not make sense to me. Sansa was like bye, I'm taking the north, and no one else spoke up about that.

I'd be totally fine with her as queen (if she has someone!!) but I can see a gooooood chunk of the fandom absolutely hating this. surprise.

Brienne as Kingsguard: while I like it for narrative purposes, because she deserves it, I just can't see her leaving Sansa, if she becomes as close to Sansa as she does on the show? If Sansa is queen, I could see her as Sansa's Queensguard. But what does she have in KL? The south didn't ever respect her, why would she want to go back. I think D&D put this in so they could have the ending shot of her writing in the book about Jaime for the shippers

Jon at the Wall: the only reason he went to the Wall in the show was because Grey Worm demanded it? And then left. So. You know, real enforceable. So stupid. Genuinely the worst writing of all the endings, I think, the logic made zero sense there. Now, that could be because they'd written themselves into a corner, but knew Jon ended up at the Wall, and had to force it?

But to me, it's like - what was the point of his resurrection, then? In the show, he doesn't even kill the Night King (we'll get to that). He kills D, sure, but... He's also the reason she succeeds in Westeros to begin with. So what, he gets resurrected, causes havoc, fixes the havoc he caused, and then is sent away to a Wall that serves no purpose anymore? WHAT PURPOSE DOES THE WALL SERVE. The Others are defeated, there's a big ol' hole in it, and they've allied with the Free Folk to an extent. How does the Watch continue on?

I guess he could self-banish. I know the show sort of makes the implication that he goes off with the Free Folk, but in the books, he doesn't really like FF culture? He's appalled by a lot of the violence in it. I can't see him wanting to live that way.

Brai.me: don't get me wrong, I like Brai.me. I think it's cute, in fanon. In canon, I think Brienne is too good for him. I don't see their relationship going romantic or sexual. I think Brienne is who Jaime desperately wants to be (but Cersei is who he keeps being pulled back to). Them having sex was 100% for the shippers

Jo/ner.ys: I'm putting all the punctuation in that. don't need them finding me somehow. Anyway. I don't think this happens, at least not as a true romance. They're on opposite continents and there's not a ton of time left, but more than that - and I know I've said this before - I can't see Jon "hates seeing people burned alive" Snow falling in love with D "loves to burn people alive" T. Could it be a political thing? Maybe, but I also could see her having an alliance with Aegon.

I think there's 2 possible reasons for this being in the show and presented as an actual romance. 1) it was supposed to be that pol!Jon theory, but they chickened out (same with jonsa & a love triangle, I think they chickened out bc of the incest. I think now with hotd being incest central and fans loving it, they wouldn't balk anymore). 2) just the spectacle of it? people have been theorizing this for years, why not give it to them? see above, brai.me

Tyrion as Hand: bleh. I know the fandom loves him and he was clearly D&D's fave, but grrm has said Tyrion is the most morally gray character, and I can't see him letting Tyrion get everything he's always wanted, you know? People think asoiaf is grimdark, but I can't imagine grrm punishing Jon with banishment while giving Tyrion a cushy position with lots of power.

I've read the theory that Tyrion ends up at the Wall, which I like thematically, but again, WHAT PURPOSE DOES THE WALL SERVE. Is it just a penal colony at that point?? someone smarter than me, tell me.

Grey Worm & Missandei condoning/encouraging D: hated it. Take the only characters of color to have speaking lines (i'm 99% sure) in the last season and turn them vengeful and murderous (especially grey worm). Throw their characters under the bus to absolve D of blame

Arya killing the Night King: no. he doesn't exist in the books, first, and even in the show it made zero narrative sense. It was just a Shock Value™ twist. You thought it was gonna be hero Jon, hmmmmmm? WRONG. I've said it on here before, but my hope is that it's Sam that brings down the Others in the book somehow.

Oshiete Kudasai Fujishima-san - this is GOOD. Consent is great, the male lead is hot, the sex is actually really good and not the same scene repeated 50 times! But... the female lead... this one comment sums it up:

2. Hapi Mari - This one is really nice! I like the character dynamics, it is not super explicit but the characters are sketched out pretty well. Slightly dumber female lead, but its not as bad as the previous one!

3. Osananajimi Bartender to Hajimeru Kaikan Lesson - short I think, the art style is not to my liking. But the characters are so nice, and the side characters are sweet! And they have this 'cocktail language' that is very cutely used hehe, good read! And CONSENT!!!

4. Tada no Renai nanka de Kikkonai: Kojirase Joushi to Fetish na Buka (We Can't Do Just Plain Love: She's Got a Fetish, Her Boss Has Low Self-Esteem) - The title is pretty funny lmaoooo and I love this manga the most of them all!! This female lead is TO DIE FOR. The concept of this manga is really fun, so this is honestly such a hidden gem. I highly recommend this.

5. Talk To Me - this is actually a manhwa, so the art style takes some time to get used to. Also a little slow, not much happens each chapter, but its a very cute light-hearted read, smexy smexy though! The 2 couples are written very well, so I am currently enjoying this quite a bit ehehe

As for anime, my recommendation of Kaichou Wa Maid Sama still stands!! It's a good anime, and the manga left me in tears <3 Other than that, here are some of my favs that fit your taste (none of these are erotica like the mangas, but they're still very funny):

i have no idea why i only just now decided to follow u on tumblr because not all that glitters is gold is literally one of the best fanfics ive ever read. it has to be in my top 3. its been my favorite ever since i had first read it in like december. everytime i get a notification that u have updated, its literally pure dopamine!!

i absolutely adore the mc. shes amazing and i loveee her. but damn girly has been through soooo much in such a short time, she really needs a break. like i have a list of all the things shes been through in my notes💀. the fact that she has to bare all her pain on her own, after so much trauma, just makes me sooo sad </3, like let me give her a hug.

anyway the enemies to lovers situation thats going on between her and woo is literally superior omggg. him slowly starting to care about her🤭🤭, the slowburn is immaculate!!! literally has me giggling and kicking my feet. its too good. i will forever stand by the opinion that nobody can write better enemies to lovers than fanfic writers!!!

san is 100% my favorite character. im literally obsessed with him omgg. the way hes just so strong and masculine while also being so fucking kind and empathetic to the mc??? so manly while being such a sweetheart??? literally the greenest flag ever. its just so attractive, like i want him😫. (and if he does have red flags, im ignoring them btw.) so yes i think im in love with him.

glass onion spoilers

ok this movie was fun, but it fell a bit short of expectations 😅 y'all hyped this up a bit too much (note: i did not watch the other knives out movie yet so maybe im missing out on some context)

I thought this was going to be this awesome keikaku murder mystery with this likeable queer and fruity detective guy where everyone rips down the curtain of lies set up by this tech billionaire and it is revealed mr. miles rich guy actually has no idea what he's doing and all of his accomplishments were stolen from other people

I guess we kinda get that in a sense, but I guess reality just outdid fiction this time if you know what I mean... so it wasnt nearly as satisfying

I guess that's kind of the point of this movie, as benoit himself points out: it looks complicated, but it's actually not. (and thats why he had so much trouble solving the mystery, bc hes not good at solving dumb puzzles, only clever ones lol) but that still doesnt make it satisfying.

anyway, my thoughts about the movie!

the masking and covid callbacks remember those ah memoriesssss (man)

ok but if this entire movie were about this scientist guy trying to do science engineering work while pushing back against unrealistic expectations from overzealous entrepreneurs/business ppl i would watch that...

i liked the part where the lady was like "you've got to stay off the twitter" to the other lady, this is relatable and realistic and a good message

puzzles are fun. i liked the peoples working together to solve the puzzles. if this entire movie were about a diverse group of friends solving puzzles in a collaborative way i would watch that...

shoutout to manosphere guy's mom she dont give af but she's hella clever, she's solving these puzzles and she doesn't even care lol

(also dude be more respectful to your mom. doesnt matter if ur streaming, ppl will understand if u have to take a brief interruption to answer to something. if they dont understand, u do not want them watching ur stream)

benoit amogus (this is probably pandering but i am the target audience so i will accept the pandering. if this entire movie were just benoit and his friends/colleagues playing among us i would watch that...)

the way the ppl all have their different attitudes towards masking strictness and runs the full gamut, that's just really interesting to analyze. i saw the tumblr post about this and i thought benoit was actually going to narrate these observations and it wouldve been really impressive 😅 I guess it's actually more subtle than that...

ok but what IS that spray. how does it work. i know u dont have to explain EVERYTHING in a story but the nerd in me wants to know pls pls pls (does it even work lol)

benoit very charming and there was some awkward tension in the air bc everyone else is tightly knit and he's a newcomer but he talks through it easily enough so my feelings of social anxiety werent too bad in these scenes lol

everyone talking and socializing (ergh) and dropping various bits of information and im like 'i dont even remember their NAMES im definitely not gonna remember all these little factoids which are sure to be relevant later lol' (help)

the part where benoit is sneaking around and spying on ppl, i feel like maybe they could have leaned even more into the comedy here if they wanted to. like. they have manosphere guy spying on miles rich guy and other lady doing the sussy and he clenches his fists in anger but later it's revealed actualyl she is trying to persuade miles rich guy to put manosphere guy on his news thingy or something but miels was refusing so actually manosphere guy was clenching his fist in anger because of that and benoit was behind the bushes watching the whole thing but also helen was behind both of them watching the whole thing as well

i know it probably makes cinematic sense for them to do this, but i wish helen and benoit had been a bit quieter/vague about their discussions bc i was in constant fear that they would be overheard and someone would be like "hey why is your accent different" bc as the previous scenes have shown, eavesdropping people and recording devices are EVERYWHERE (god)

and as modern technology and even death note potato chips scene have taught me. why would you ever NOT assume that your rooms are not bugged. like. recording devices are cheap and tiny. and you're in a rich guy's mansion that he had built for himself and he has a huge ego and doesnt care about other peoples agency. I would be paranoid that there would be hidden cameras and microphones everywhere (dsfosdfjsoijfds)

the part where benoit explained away the entire mystery that miles had someone else write up for him was fun, if the entire movie were just ppl chucking mystery puzzles at the guy and him just explaining everything i would watch that...

tho eq-wise this was a bit like if you're the best tetris player in the world and you enter the lobby of some very casual player and their friends and no one is playing faster than 0.5pps and then you demolish everyone at 5pps with ms2 dpc loop and then the streamer is like "well I guess this isnt our stream anymore it's theirs" that's a bit bm... (we actually kinda do have this problem in the tetrio community and someone even made a video about it)

social anxiety DID HE JUST COMMIT A FAUX-PAS BY BEING TOO OP i do appreciate that he commented on doing it intentionally afterwards (ok so he's aware) bc he was concerned someone would try to actually kill miles

when the pretty dress lady was spinning around and was like "look at me!" i was like 'ok this is obviously a distraction and somehting sneaky is going to happen' but it was too flashy and distracting so i didnt notice anything lol ^_^;;

my first thought was that someone tried to poison miles and poisoned manosphere guy by accident, so when ppl went to their initial conclusions i was like ok that makes sense

initially i was sus of helen's story. i thought she was andi, but pretending to be a nonexistant twin sister for some reason. her story seemed a bit too clean. like. maybe she fabricated this murder mystery to pique the interest of the best detective in the world to help her with her task, since maybe he wouldn't be interested otherwise. and then benoit would poke some holes in her story and then she would reveal that actually the story was a fabrication but she was desperate and benoit would have some sympathy and would help her out regardless

the movie went on for a while before i was like. 'oh ok, the other shoe isn't dropping... she really is who she says she is??'

(you have to understand my experience in these kind of genres involve ppl like L and Naomi Misora and Junko Enoshima and Celeste Ludenberg its RARE for characters to actually just have been telling the truth the entire time so you have to understand why i was doubtful >_<;;)

i was expecting one of the others to have reset the box and sent it to benoit and then he solved the puzzles and went to the island but no the box benoit received was the one helen smashed to bits lmaoooooo. benoit is so smooth i completely fell for that.

i like all the parts where benoit was like "elementary child puzzles" or something and it made miles look kinda annoyed hehe

ok the false memory thing DOES happen, it's true! when he said it, everyone remembered differently. memory is notoriously unreliable. this is true

ok i know barely anything about business or law but i feel like theres so much more andi couldve done to protect her ownership of the company. like. documentation/photographs of the napkin? patents? on the other hand, as recent events have shown, it is also notoriously easy for a charming guy with money to completely sway public opinion with a strong enough propaganda machine so i guess fair enough...

also i feel like that conversation kinda escalated a bit too quickly. "hey i have new idea KLEAN will energy the world poggers" "no it too dangerous it will blow up the world" "no c'mon" "i will BISECT THIS COMPANY"

like. hindsight is 2020 but. give toddler something to play with rather than taking it away altogether. right?...

also i feel like my watching of medical jdramas has skewed my view of what is realistic, but. i feel like everyone gave up a bit TOO easily after manosphere guy stopped breathing. no one even attempted CPR? does no one have like. epipens or something (idk how pineapple allergies work)

also that little hint at the beginning slipped by me. i thought he just didnt like the taste of pineapples lol (relatable), didnt know that he was actually allergic

the dietary restrictions thing in the invite was actually kinda considerate of miles rich guy tho. i mean, u know, aside from the fact that he exploited this very thing to murder his dear friend

also do the police not have. helicopters

maybe they shouldve added like a thunderstorm or something. or a cut to the police station where they're like "it's that guy again (ugh), let's deal with this in the morning..."

i am happy helen survived tho. guns scary... especially when they are pointed at you lol

NOT THE HOT SAUCE IN THE NOSE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO this legit was one of the most stressful scenes in the movie lol

i get so stressed anytime there's clearly an actor playing a dead body in a movie bc then im imagining the actor having to lie still without moving or breathing at all and that just makes me anxious lol

ok but why did andi even NEED this dude, she shouldve just made alpha or whatever on her own. unless it's maybe just the. stereotypical white, charismatic figurehead to appease the investors maybe. idk

benoit getting mad at miles rich guy for stealing his murder mystery ideas is the funniest thing

but also i know this is a movie but girl why would you bring out the napkin. just hide it, get off the island, and show it! or at least make a few decoys! take pictuers at least?? whyd u let yourself get outwitted by miles rich guy this is so sad

the smashing glass thing is cathartic but i was also cringing bc all that flying sharp glass in the air and floor does NOT look safe. and also who's gonna clean it up afterwards you're making more work for the poor staff of this resort place :c

also. do u have a death wish. why would you throw that in there when you are THERE in the room. headlines: MILES BRON AND OTHERS DIE IN EXPLOSION ON PRIVATE ISLAND RESORT (ONLY SURVIVORS ARE WORLD'S GREATEST DETECTIVE AND SOME GUY) idk

while the mona lisa burning is funny and LONG expected since the protection barrier thing was introduced and IS probably not the real one since something about wood panel vs. canvas. i just. do not like destroying art man. tho i probably dont care as much bc it is something coveted by rich people. but still.

also imo this isn't the slam dunk they think it is bc if miles rich guy WERE smart, there's a billion ways he could spin this to his favour

it's pretty much his word against theirs but if he uses his money wisely he can easily drum up propaganda support for this, even if his former friends turned against him

e.g. "ex-Alpha founder who never contributed anything and was actually a leech (true story) throw a tantrum on island resort and used bottle rockets/dynamite/whatever other flammable things there are that DEFINITELY arent Klean to destroy PRICELESS work of art'

also, helen girlboss destroying his stuff is satisfying but imo not nearly as satisfying as miles rich guy just destroying his OWN stuff just from sheer incompetence

right now he can escape into the mental copespace of "that woman destroyed my (yes definitely my) lifes work, i will have my revenge". i am worried, bc as recent events have shown, it IS possible, even if you are confirmed guilty, to just skedaddle on out of prison, because of technicalities or whatever

and he will probably still have his diehard fans on his side

the future worries me

so in the end, i guess. not really satisfying in the sense of a keikaku whodunnit, and I didnt really vibe with many of the characters either, except for benoit, and manosphere guy's mom, and benoit's... husband? (idk who he is but he seems chill), and helen is neat too but i feel like her characterization was a bit too infodump/exposition heavy

i guess if i look at it more in the lens of a social commentary comedy rather than a murder mystery itd be more up to expectations. but still. not really my cup of tea i guess

My profile pic is of Tamino Amir. He’s a Belgian-Egyptian artist and makes beautiful music. I would recommend him to anyone. I saw him live in February with Mitski and literally cried the entire time. He’s also drop dead gorgeous the man literally looks like a god.

I’m rambling.

Number 7: what tattoos i have and their meaning.

I’m actually really happy you asked that one because I have so many tattoos and i love them ALL!

Okay, I have 12 tattoos. I’ll try to keep it short tho.

1. “Spirit Lead Me” on my bicep. This was my 1st tattoo I got for my 18th bday. It’s from Psalm 143. I’m not really a religious person anymore, but I still appreciate the message. The whole verse is “Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Show me what you want me to do, and let your gentle spirit lead me in the right path.”

2. A small bouquet of flowers on my hip. This one doesn’t have much meaning. It was a last minute tattoo i got because my friend was getting one and the artist was really chill and was like “you want one too?” And i just said sure and let him pick the art. Looking back, i don’t know why i did that😂

3. A Luna moth on my shoulder. I’ve always considered myself more of a moth than a butterfly, if that makes any sense. I took a picture of a Luna moth was i was 16 and i was obsessed with them ever since. Fun fact: the day i got it tattooed i got a Snapchat memory that i took that moth photo 3 years ago on the same day. It was just meant to be.

4. The master sword from Legend of Zelda on my arm. This one is kinda self explanatory. I just fucking love the games. I played my first was i was 9 years old and it became my entire personality for the rest of my life.

5. A soot sprite on my ankle. This one also doesn’t really have a meaning. A friend of mine had finished her tattoo apprenticeship and was doing small pieces on people as practice. So i asked her to practice on me and she gave me a cute little soot sprite.

6. “Set your heart ablaze” on my rib cage. I got this after the demon slayer movie. It’s one of my favorite animes, and Rengoku was such an important character to me.

7. An evil eye with a tear drop under the back of my neck. I’ve always worn the evil eye since i was young. I don’t remember when i started or why, but I’ve always had a necklace or a keychain or earrings with it on. I liked the idea of it on my back bc in my mind it wards off any negativity that people might send me when my back is turned.

8. A cecropia moth on my other shoulder. Not so much meaning behind this one. My other shoulder felt naked and i wanted to add symmetry with another insect. I chose the cecropia moth bc I found one in the woods one time and I felt like some kind of woodland fairy. It was literally the size of my hand.

9. 333. It’s my Angel number. I see it everywhere, and at least once a day. I was also born on the 3rd day of the 9th month and 3 was always a prevalent number growing up. (I was on bus #3. My childhood apt was #3. Me and my sibs make 3, ect)

10. A maple seed. I got this tattoo for my current partner. We’ve been together 7 years and on our second date we walked a nature trail and we had talked about watching the notebook later and I made a comment about “how romantic would it be if we kissed in the rain”, it was not raining that day. So he picked up handfuls of maple seeds and threw them in the air. They rained around us and he kissed me under them. It’s probably one of my favorite memories.

11. Peter Rabbit hugging his momma. This tattoo was dedicated to my mom. My nursery as a baby was Peter Rabbit themed, and I still have a lot of the decorations still in my room 24 years later :’) I also love my mom a lot.

12. A heart locket with my childhood cat in the frame. Pretty self explanatory. It was dedicated in his memory. He was literally the best cat ever and i miss him everyday. He passed on my 19th bday.
