Coming back from the dead is the kind of thing that can really fuck up your weekend, as Jon has recently found out (especially considering that he’d paid a mint for those concert tickets, thanks). On one hand, the bureau paperwork is horrifying, and the less said about his skyrocketing health insurance premiums or this year's taxes, the better. On the other hand, though, Sansa Stark, the pretty head of the medical/pathology research division and long-time object of Jon's affections, has insisted on giving him her utmost attention until she’s sure he’s back on his feet and fully among the living.

Hello, I hope that you are doing well (the cats seem to be doing well).
I was wondering, now that "how she died" is finished, does that mean that "trojan horse" will be further developed and finished? Or do you have another story lined up.
Ummm unclear right now
Unfortunately, work has been incredibly stressful recently. Not the kind of stressful that makes me get home and immediately pour all my anxiety into writing, but the kind that makes me so braindead I just get home, eat, shower, and go to bed at like 8pm.
For Trojan Horse, I realized my enthusiasm for writing it was really only the messy college chapters. The time skip makes me less enthusiastic, though I do like some of the ideas I have for it. Or maybe thats the braindead talking, because I wrote the first two parts before everything truly went to shit at work
I did get a burst of inspiration and am currently writing right now, but it's a new idea and something I don't know if I will ever post because it's 1) a semi rehash of an idea I already wrote, and 2) would probably need to contain actual smut. So I'm just writing it right now to try and get my creative juices flowing in general, because I do want to continue/finish Trojan horse

I don’t think it’s true at all that the reason most people dress boring is that they want to fit in sometimes you just need to accept that not everyone is obsessed with finding a unique style some people just wear clothes to avoid public indecency

I must not mock Gen Alpha. Mocking Gen Alpha is the mind killer. Mocking Gen Alpha is the little-death that brings total generational solidarity obliteration. I will engage with Gen Alpha lovingly. I will permit them to be cringe. And when they grow up I will turn my eye to their accomplishments. Where mocking has gone there will be nothing. Only generational solidarity remains

online communities are so strange because people slip away so easily. you can be on here for years, folding people you've never met into the fabric of your daily life, and then they disappear, leaving only ghost posts scattered across tumblr behind. or their blog stays dormant, for weeks, months, years, until you're only still following them because you remember that they love sunflowers or they were kind to you when they didn't have to be or the last thing they posted was sad and raw and you still worry about them sometimes.
and sometimes they come back when you least expect it, years later, even, and there's this sudden rush of relief like there you are, there you are, even though you barely knew each other.
there's a strange kind of love to it. i don't know you and i want to hold your hand across miles and time zones and oceans. i can still see the imprint of you in this community you left. you don't anyone will notice or care when you're gone, but we notice and we care and we wish you well.
i hope you're all okay out there. i hope the sun is shining on your face and you are breathing deeply. i miss you.

Being knocked out for more than 5 minutes means very serious brain damage but humans not having a turn-off button would do immense damage to our collective storytelling. So many films and books and videogames just wouldn't happen if writers stopped bonking their characters on the head. Insane.
