you always had this desire to capture all that interested you in its full beauty, in its unbridled greatness. that was, to you, the essence of all your art pieces; they always reflected how you saw the world, how you saw nature, how you saw people.

you never believed people had one or two faces to them, you believed people were multi-faceted, that every person was a kaleidoscope of beauty, skills, quirks, flaws, fears, hopes, and dreams. you loved capturing every bit of people who intrigued you the best you could, and you hoped that if you stood back and admired the big picture that was them, going over the details and fibers that made each person their own–from the good, bad, pretty and ugly details–you would finally see the whole, uncut image of the person you were illustrating; who you were painting in the colors you saw them in, the colors that stuck with you and filled the empty canvas of your mind with all sorts of shapes and splotches of hues and shades that formed the image of them when their name would come to mind.

and for some reason... that person to you right now was miguel o'hara. you had a lot of things to say about him, even words that many would argue don't exist. you felt a myriad of feelings when you were around miguel, and you knew there was more than just the dictating leader miguel that everyone was familiar with. like all people, miguel, too, was an explosion of different kinds of colors to you–colors that only you could see, because when he was around you... he was more than just the cool, calm, and collected boss everyone saw him as.

he was much more caring, much more funny around you. his smile when you told him a funny story illuminated a bright yellow and a warm orange to you–his eyes would twinkle and you'd see the hazelnut brown in his eyes, and a shade of what appeared to be coffee brown at the bottom of his irises. he exuded a commanding aura, a dark, cool blue–but when paired with you, and only you, he exuded a bright red; a color of fiery passion, intimacy, and most of all... attraction.

he was the subject of your affections, you, the soulful and emotional artist that admired him and all that he was from afar and up close. you admired the way he held your hand when you were scared on a few missions, you admired how gently he held you when you two were caught between a rock and a hard place; and how soft and loving his eyes were when they gazed at you. you knew he might have felt a platonic kind of love for you, what with being so comfortable around you and all, but you felt a different kind of love for him–and you hated denying your creative side the indulgence of capturing him in all his beauty.

hence, you began slowly filling the empty spaces of your sketchbooks and notebooks, or whatever other papers lay around when inspiration struck you, with images of him and only him. you caught his face in moments where he was nonchalant, disappointed, angry, grumpy, and... smiling.

when you witnessed his smile for the first time when you met him, that image was burned into your retinas, into your mind, into your heart. you saw that smile from the minute you went to bed to the minute you woke up, the only thing that saddened you was that you could never hold that man who smiled at you and made your heart beat a little faster–you could only watch him and be with him at a distance. but art was the bridge between you two that'd close that distance you wanted to cover so, so badly.

you did, at times, believe what you were doing was... a little creepy. you refused to let anyone see your sketchbooks even before you drew him, and that was out of embarrassment at your drawings. but now, it was a new kind of embarrassment, a feeling adjacent to guilt and disgust at how nobody but he could fill your mind and have you wanting to keep him in your mind by feeding yourself, indulging yourself in putting him on paper and coloring him in; to be with him at a closer perspective than how you two were in the real world.

you had to admit it–seeing him constantly in your mind, wanting to let thoughts of him out on paper as you wanted to be through with imagining him, but knew you couldn't the more and more you portrayed him–it meant you... wanted him. you really, really loved him.

you knew nobody should know, nobody had to know about this little crush you had on miguel. you'd rather die than have someone peek at your sketchbook that was filled with all kinds of drawings of him. but unfortunately, the man himself bore witness to your caricatures and illustrations of him when you left your sketchbook at his office.

you ran as quickly as you could, praying he hadn't opened it out of curiosity. he was always asking you what you were up to, and you'd immediately shut your sketchbook and laugh awkwardly, claim you were merely doodling. you always left out the part that you were constantly drawing him, and only ever him; and now, he'd find out.

as you entered his office, scouring with your eyes for your sketchbook, a figure emerged from the darkness behind you and gave a slight cough. "this is yours, isn't it?" that low, fluid voice was none other than miguel's. you turned around in fear of what he was going to look like–would any of the faces you drew seeing him as be one of the faces you'd see?

to your surprise... no. he had a different, completely new face that you had never drawn him in; a flustered state. he was blushing, his angled cheeks and high nose bridge were covered in a pink-red hue–and he was grinning. he handed you the sketchbook with a now sheepish smile. "i'm sorry, i wasn't sure if it was yours. i had to... look through for a name. and, um... it was very–" he wanted to continue, but then, he saw you were on the verge of tears.

"i'm... sorry..." you muttered, feeling incredibly ashamed of yours and busted for having indulged in drawing him without him knowing. guilt stirred in your stomach and elicited tears to well up in your eyes. miguel smiled, and as his eyebrows curved upwards together to form a look of reassurance, he placed both hands on your shoulders.

"listen, you have a wonderful talent. i'm sorry if you don't hear that enough, but that changes today. i'm so... wow, i'm so flattered you thought i was good enough to be drawn that way. it feels... amazing, to know an artist sees me fit to be their, what would you call it?" he asked as he wiped a tear rolling down your cheek away from you.

"a... muse." you whispered, wiping the rest of your tears away. miguel chuckled. "right, a muse." he said as he inched closer to you, with the sweetest smile on his face. "i might sound really crazy right now, but... i want to be your muse. i really, really want to be your muse." he said, with emphasis on 'your'.

your face lightened up as the tears that welled up gave your eyes a glassy look, and you saw the blush on his deepen as you became more and more flustered. you smiled and wrapped your arms around his chest, pulling him in for an embrace you needed to release. "and i want to be your artist. only yours." you whispered, to which miguel reciprocated your hug. and it was here that you witnessed him in a new color, a pinkish, reddish hue that made you feel all kinds of happiness and excitement.

a love meant to be captured and painted in with bursts of emotion and care for one another.

VOD: TommyInnit Speaks To Dream’s Sister AGAIN

(rp): Drista!! I love this chaotic child and am looking forward to seeing the children bully each other lmao. I especially love the mythos around Creative mode, and that the most benevolent god on the Dream SMP is just as likely to ban you as hand you a shulker box lol.

I do wonder how in character cc!Tommy is going to be able to stay during this stream: on one hand he’s a master at staying in character even during lh moments, and on the other Exile arc is some Dark Shit and Dristas like what, 14?? Overall I expect this to be one of the lighter streams, with a smattering of moments where we remember that, oh right, Tommy’s pretty actively suicidal at this point and he sees this as one of his last hurrahs.

Speaking of our boy Tommy: it's very clear we are getting closer and closer to the infamous pillar. He switches rapidly between Fight and Fawn reflexes and has mostly internalized Dream’s treatment and conditions at this point. The one stand out moment being him calling out Dream killing Mexican Dream last stream, and pointing out he was changing his story even when Dream tried to lie and say he died of “a drug overdose [...] or natural causes”. I’m curious if Tommy is going to bring it up again, and even more curious if he eventually believes Dream about it; something to watch out for, for sure. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that this moment of rebellion happened right after he had someone both stand up for him and spend time with him that wasn’t actively hostile or going to end (supposedly, at least by intention)

Hey we didn’t start off drowning for once!! cc!Tommy was also singing, though that could have been mostly out of character as well. Still, remarkably in a better mood, he even mentions having an appetite! You love to see it, and it's clearly because he’s looking forward to Drista’s visit

I love them. They are wonderful. This is definitely one of the only ships I care about for the ST. I don't read a ton of ST fic, but when I do, this is the ship I live for. I think pretty much all of us who enjoy this ship did so from the getgo in TFA and we were right to. The dynamic between Finn and Rey is so sweet and so supportive and so fun. So many people lost their mind over Poe's lip bite when checking Finn out in his jacket and they were correct. It's all about the adventuring friendship, the support, the fun, the fact that Rey and Finn helped each other overcome their pasts and face the future with bravery, the fact that Poe immediately dismissed Finn's stupid, dehumanizing Stormtrooper code and gave him a name and gave him trust....... send help y'all. They are so fucking cute!!!!! I would technically smooch them all but on the forehead. And also can you imagine the hugs and cuddles they'd all be good at????? Anyways all three of them ran off into the sunset after TRoS and that's just facts.

God I love them. What a mess. What a bunch of romantic idiots. I would die for both of them and their cheesy, stupid romance. Pads just legit fell for this dude floating a pear at her. What a nerd. And the way she waxes poetic about Anakin in the AotC novel? You have to laugh. But they're both so sweet and so genuine, and I truly believe they really understand each other, despite the unhealthy aspects of them just... pretending the other's flaws do not exist. I love their relationship in canon (we do not talk about the dumb parts of TCW as you and I have already vented about it fsdklskfl) and the impact their story had in it. I think they genuinely had so much potential for growing and having a healthier relationship had Certain Things not happened. Their dynamic is so interesting and so much fun to explore in different ways. And we all know they'd both be fashion icons had the Jedi truly let go in that department and allowed for more Flair smh. It's definitely not a perfect relationship, and it's not the only one I enjoy from the PT, but I do think its role in canon is important and I like what we were given with it. When you think about it, they were just really young individuals who both dreamed of this sweeping romance and an escape from their duties, and they let themselves be blinded by all the complicated aspects to it so they could keep that dream. It's sad, and understandable, and just so human. We all know I could rant about them as individuals especially too. Their characters are so well-written and anyone who says otherwise is an idiot and that's on that. idk if I'm at all coherent but I love them and their flaws and their sweet moments ok bye

Wow. WOW Y'ALL. I'm gonna DIE for them. I am so emotional about this ship and just aaaaaaaaaaa. I knew going in that it was the endgame canon ship and I totally fucking get the hype. I absolutely adore these characters and just how complex and well written they are!! I love the fact that the abuse they experienced in childhood is not ever downplayed or dismissed, but is truly woven into every aspect of these characters. I love the fact that even when they are fighting, they still so clearly love each other and it's so complicated and hard and heartbreaking. BUT THEN GAY LOVE SAVES THE FUCKING UNIVERSE HELLO????? I am dead and gone for them. There's truly Something about ships between characters who truly get each other, and not just the good aspects of them but all the dark and flawed aspects too. And their fucking friendship y'all!!!!!!!! How wonderful and complicated because they only had each other in many ways (esp for Catra) for so long, and yet they were constantly pitted against each other by the Horde and just how much pain there is to know that despite loving each other so much, they could still hurt each other (especially unintentionally on Adora's side) because of the way they were raised and treated and I fucking hate Shadow Weaver she is the fucking worst and she was not, for one second, redeemed okay. I love them both so so much. I love how fucking sweet they are when they're finally free from the environment the Horde put them in, how playful and silly they are, how their friendship and love spanned their entire life and AAAAAAAA they are just AAAAAA I love them and I am so grateful to Noelle for giving us this ship. I know they had to work so hard for it and it was worth it and I am just a gay floating through the world in love with a ship from a children's cartoon bye

Tubbo’s game crashes which is not the last instance of god trying to stop Tubbo from doing lore

You can tell Ranboo helped because Tubbo plays undertale music throughout the stream

One of the few qualms I had about the lore stream Tubbo did at the beginning of march was that the music didn’t fit the mood a lot of the time so this is already a sign of Tubbo improving his (already great) lore

“It is no longer safe on the smp” we are going in swinging apparently and now c!Tubbo no longer feels safe even in Snowchester a place he created after doomsday for a sense of security

“You might think it’s pretty safe” for as long as I have been watching there has not been a single time were I had the thought ‘this server seems safe’ 

He thinks that it isn’t safe because people can come back from the dead which is interesting because you would think that makes things safer, if something terrible happens it can be undone, this is a very interesting insight into c!Tubbo

He’s worried that Dream will come for him because of the armour which is fair but also the whole trying to murdder him during the disc war finale is probably a sign too

so a LOT happened in the chapters i read last night (44-49) and i have. SO many thoughts

not as many as i had right after i read but i really had to go to bed so i couldn’t write them all up.....

HE MADE HIMSELF A CLONE BODY OUT OF MAGICAL MUSHROOMS AND TRANSPORTED HIS SOUL INTO IT.

i love mushroom shit and i love bodyswapping and. my god.

the fact that sqq has died twice and been forced to inhabit 3 different bodies??? wei wuxian wishes he were this cool

sidenote but the mental image of sqq doing radio calisthenics in the forest is really funny. or maybe it’s just funny to me because of the associations i have with this one time in japanese class?

sqq’s new body looking like a cross between shen yuan and shen qingqiu is really interesting and perhaps... symbolic....?

also hey does this mean he doesn’t have to deal with the cureless poison anymore. i assumed that it would be cured in his eventual sexytimes with binghe but hmmm i guess not!

the point where i really lost it was when he realized he was disconnected from the system. i know now that it wasn’t permanent but that was just so interesting, how much he hates it and wants it gone. which makes sense! even though it has helped him get out of bad spots at times, it’s a sign that he’s not really from this world. now i’m just really curious what’s gonna happen to the system at the end of the novel. maybe it’ll shut off once he achieves the “goal” it’s seemed to have set for him and gets together with lbh?

also i’m glad that sqq seems to have matured a little bit in terms of his people skills / problem solving skills? though uh. remains to be seen how he’ll act in front of binghe when binghe realizes who he is

it also seems like i was completely wrong about sqq’s motivations for sacrificing himself lol. lot more selfish than i thought? but it makes sense! fun twist

mxtx sure likes to have her protagonists execute plots that they don’t tell the reader about until after they happen lol (i’m thinking of the golden core transfer)

i had a LOT of thoughts last night but now i’m pretty much just like. i really need to see where it goes before i make any judgements on bingqiu

rn i’m not a big fan because 1. sqq is so wildly uncomfortable (understandable lol, even if lbh thinks it’s just a dream) and 2. lbh is very obsessive and that’s not really my favorite trope. but like it’s obviously not meant to be a healthy relationship, at least definitely not right now, and i do like some good fucked up romance! i’m excited to see the developments where sqq realizes what his real feelings are

i’m also fairly neutral on binghe as a character atm. his main personality traits seem to be “obsessed with sqq” and “trying not to die from evil sword qi poisoning” and i don’t find that all that compelling? between him and lwj i have to say that mxtx’s love interest characters are not really my favorite, though i wouldn’t say i dislike either of them.

furthermore i’m slightly concerned with how lbh’s “i’m the main character and i get what i want” attitude is gonna affect the romance. i know there’s some dubconny stuff later which i can’t say i’m excited for but i am excited to see how binghe’s character is gonna develop in general

my aspirations for bingqiu is that they’re both able to eventually break free of the expectations of the system

because, look at this from sqq’s pov. there’s this ai in your head that has, for literal years, been steering you towards a romance that you (at least outwardly) don’t want. isn’t that fucking terrifying? i love it. the system (at least how i see it) has been bending the established plot of the world in order to make this happen. it’s like fate but you can see the gears turning.

and even if sqq does end up liking lbh back, can you imagine the existential crisis of like. wondering if he really CHOSE to get with binghe or if he was somehow compelled to by the system which acts based on binghe’s emotions?

i think that would be so interesting

however what i think is Actually going to happen (based on that one time when airplane was like “hey cucumber, uh, is lbh just a character to you or is there more...”) is that sqq is gonna realize that he’s had a bit of a crush on binghe since reading pidw and is only just now dealing with his internalized homophobia. so him getting together with binghe has less strings attached

i think there’s some opportunity here for a commentary on the soulmate trope? because svsss is just so steeped in themes about agency and fate. i think that would be really cool but we’ll have to see. i feel like the ending is gonna be simpler and happier than i want it to be but obviously i cannot make any judgements yet! i’m just having Thoughts :)

so, i also read one of the extras (the one where he goes with lqg to battle succubi) because the translation i’m reading recommended it! it was pretty fun

“JAMIL!” you screeched. you tapped your foot on the floor multiple times, growing increasingly impatient. “JAMIL!” he still didn’t come out of the kitchen. you crossed your arms as tight as you possibly could. “JAMIL VIPER!!!” you practically jumped out of the armchair you were sitting on and stomped your foot on the ground. he finally walked out of the kitchen with a scowl on his face.

“what?!” he growled. “i called you three times already! why didn’t you-” he cut off your sentence “you didn’t call me three times, in fact you called me many more times than that. i could hear you perfectly fine, (y/n).” he stepped closer towards you, a slightly terrifying aura surrounded him. you weren’t scared of course. who was he compared to you? suddenly your back met the wall, and he slammed his hand on it, just inches away from yours. he leaned his face close to your own, causing you to grit your teeth. “don’t you know how much of a spoiled brat you are, princess?” he teased you in a husky voice. you felt his breath tickle your ear, and you started to push him away from you, but to no avail. “LET GO!”

he inched closer to you. you felt tears prick the corner of your eyes. “jamil viper, leave me alone!” you screamed. with your eyes closed, you sensed his presence away from you. you heard the door click open and him sighing before closing it, and leaving you alone. you opened your eyes and sighed to yourself, before leaning against the wall and crouched down. “spoiled brat...” you hissed. you felt the tears coming back. “(y/n) (l/n)...the eldest...supposedly the next ruler.” you clenched your fist. “bullshit!” you grabbed a vase from beside you and smashed it against the wall. 

princess (y/n) (l/n).  the eldest child of the king and queen of your kingdom of vampires. your parents were very doting parents, and spoiled you with everything you ever wished for. from the most glamorous of dresses, to jewelry made out of pure gold. you were happy, but you were never pleased. all the civilians loved you and cherished you, but that all changed when your younger brother was born. your parents never turned their attention to you anymore, nor did the civilians, as in your kingdom, the one who could rule had to be male. and with your little brother, no one cared about you anymore. you tried to do everything you could to get your parents’ attention, but alas they turned their backs on your and continued fueling all of your wants, except for one thing you actually really wanted, their love.  

coming to night raven college, none of the students liked you. they all thought you were spoiled, bratty, annoying, whiny, the list goes on. you didn’t plan on getting close to anyone anyways. however jamil viper was the only one who was...somehow neutral with you. he didn’t mind spending time with you despite the way you acted, but of course he would be annoyed with you at times. but today...it was just different. he seemed to despise you. “jamil...i’m sorry.” suddenly you felt your throat ran dry. a symptom of craving. you quickly got up and went to your cabinet and slammed it open. you gasped to see all of the vials filled with precious, red liquid, empty. “what?! how can this be-” you choked on your own words, the thirst growing by the second. 

you felt pain in the pit of your stomach as you tried to inhale as much air as you could. you were suffocating. it was like a feeling of being drowned, yet at the same time, also a feeling of being thirsty, like never having a drop of water your whole life. you whimpered in pain and curled up into a ball on the ground. “h..help...me...” 

meanwhile, jamil was anxiously pacing around the exterior hallway of the school, while he debated with himself whether to go back to you or just forget about you and go back to the scarabia dorms. “fufufufufu, what do we have here?” jamil turned to the source of the voice. on the ceiling. he looked up to meet the eyes of lilia vanrouge. “lilia-san.” he hopped down from the ceiling and stood beside jamil. “what’s with the pacing around all over the place? something tells me you’re unsettled.” jamil sighed as he ran his hands through his hair. “it’s nothing...” lilia chuckled. “it’s (y/n) isn’t it?” jamil didn’t react to this however, he was pretty shocked whe lilia mentioned your name. 

“you’re debating whether to go back to her or not aren’t you?” jamil still tried to keep his composure but eyed his senior. “how do you know this?” lilia smirked. “your actions are very clear to the eye, viper.” he started to walk away from jamil but stopped before turning the corner. “oh and if i were you, i’d go back and check on her. she might be in serious trouble. call it...an intuition...” and with that, he vanished. jamil was still debating with himself but it seemed as if his feet moved themselves all the way back to your room. he hesitantly knocked on your door. “(y/n).” no reply. he knocked again. “(y/n)..?” and now he was starting to grow impatient. alright he might not have been answering when you called him, but he found it extremely immature for you to be doing the same thing. “i know you’re mad....just...” he sighed. 

“pardon the intrusion.” he opened the door slightly and slipped inside. he looked around to find you nowhere. “(y/n)...?” he walked behind the sofas to see the smashed vase. this was when panic started to set in. “(y/n)!” you heard a clang coming from the kitchen and he ran to see what happened. he saw you on the floor, while inhaling as much air as you could, a hoarse voice coming out from your own throat. you looked up to meet the eyes of jamil. he flinched a little as he saw your eyes glimmer a glowing red color, and your fangs were just as evident as ever. “(y/n)...are you alright?” 

“i need to drink jamil! please! let me...NO! i can’t!” you reached your hand to grab him but when you realized what you were doing, your other arm grasped that arm reaching for him. “what happened to you..?” his eye trailed to the shards of glass vials and saw the empty cabinet which was supposed to be your supply of blood. he learned about it somewhere before. if they didn’t satisfy their thirst, vampires would be immense pain due to this. jamil took it upon himself to crouch down in front of you and grabbed your chin. “(y/n)...” he softly spoke. with your thirst driven eyes, you looked at his soft expression. “it’s alright...you need to drink. besides, i don’t want anything happening to you...”

tears streamed down your cheeks as you forgot all of your human-like behavior and threw yourself onto him. you pounced on top of him and dug your fangs deep into his collarbone. he grunted slightly, trying to endure the excruciating pain. from a sensation being similar to being stabbed with a knife, it soon faded away as another feeling started to dawn upon jamil. you took another gulp of his blood before finally backing away and realized what you’ve done. “JAMIL! I’M SO SO SO SO SORRY!” you sighed. “for everything.” he was readjusting his uniform while listening to you speak. “i’m sorry for being so bratty. so annoying. i’m sorry for treating you so badly! you can leave me if you want to, i don’t need anyone...” you felt a hand on top of your head. 

“i can’t leave you alone, besides who would be here to offer you blood when you need it?” you blushed. “i-i can order blood you know! ethically sourced and clean, guaranteed!” this caused jamil to chuckle. “(y/n), i’m sorry for losing my patience around you. i’m sorry for treating you the way i did.” you shook your head. “n..no...i’m the one who’s sorry.” he was picking up the glass shards from the floor when he saw your expression. he started to laugh. “what?! it’s not funny?!” he continued. “are you seriously crying?!” you sniffled and wiped the tears away. “no! shut up!” he pinched your cheek. “you’re such a big baby.” 

“i’m sorry...for being that way.” jamil smiled. “it’s alright, (y/n). you don’t have to apologize. but of course, there are a few things about you we need to work on. such as your patience, whininess, brattiness, the list goes on.” you pouted. “i get it! i’m a shitty person!” jamil chuckled. “well not all that shitty. come on, we start on improving today.” you looked up to see his smiling face and hand extended to help you stand up. you hesitantly grabbed it and you were back up on your feet. “i’m sorry if i bit you too hard, or if i took too much blood.” he just shook his head. “i’m alright, don’t worry about me.”

“jamil...i’m sorry. again.”

“i know. and you don’t have to apologize so often.”

“okay...i’m sorry...EH WAIT...SORRY FOR...nevermind.”

Okay, now back to Corona😂

So, where we left off, Gothel took Rapunzel back to the tower, and I'm skipping to Gothel's Rapunzel trap working on Flynn, and Flynn slowly dying

So, starting with Rapunzel, she starts off pretty confident, talking about how she'll run and run and run from Gothel forever, but in one moment, she becomes more submissive

If only she could just use her hair to save him.

Though obviously these are two different feelings going on, we're gonna start with this loose parallel of Rapunzel to Sora, who also in a single moment or from a single event, goes from confident to crying on his knees

If only Sora had his friends to give him the power to drive back the demon hurricane.

And of course, neither Flynn nor Riku will let it be this way. Flynn can't let her give up her dreams and her freedom to save him, and Riku just can't let Sora give up and believe he can't do anything.

So, what do they do?

Flynn cuts off Rapunzel's hair, condemning himself to death, but saving Rapunzel's life (or at least, right to truly live)

Riku takes a shot at the demon tide, sacrificing himself in hopes of saving Sora's life.

In other words, they do a true love's sacrifice/act of true love

Quick intermission since here is where Gothel becomes the heartless and final boss. I still suck at this boss. It took me an hour or two to beat her. However, this is also when I started abusing shotlocks for the first time, so there's that. Abuse ultima shotlocks, cast magic, time your dodges, and hope whenever you attack you don't get attacked 😂

So, by the time Sora, Donald, and Goofy get up to the tower, I think we're supposed to presume Eugene is nearly dead, but Rapunzel is holding on, not wanting him to die

And of course, Sora desperately reaches for the light, calling for Riku. I guess you could say he's holding onto Riku.

["Riku! Riku, answer me!"]

Rapunzel sings her healing song that talks about reversing time, bringing back "what once was mine", changing "the fates' design, ect, and then her tear drops onto Eugene's face. And so, after both of them risked their own lives in acts of true love, both of them cheat the different deaths which would have been thrust upon them, changing fate's design

In similar fashion, due to what I believe to have been Kairi holding Sora's form together and Riku's act of true love saving Sora's heart, Sora too has cheated death (at least for now), and after reaching for the light, calling for Riku, and flying into it, he goes for Riku's heart first, saves all of his friends (minus Kairi till the light tunnel, though Sora doesn't save her) and not only reverses, but rewrites the destined events to happen in the timeline. I'd say it parallels Rapunzel's healing song, and even though he does save everyone and not just one person, there definitely is something to the fact that he specifically goes for Riku, specifically calls his name, and ends up wresting him from his fate first.

(Don't worry, bro, his heart'll be okay now)

Also, side note: During Rapunzel singing her healing song, she and Eugene confess that the other was their new dream and that just my heart

Now of course, being me, I can't pass up the next parallel in this world

Sora: Well, if he comes back and tries to bother Rapunzel again, then Flynn will keep her safe.

Donald: Come on. Rapunzel's the tough one, if you ask me.

Flynn: True. But nevertheless, I won't let her out of my sight.

I mean, maybe it's just me, but it seems this parallels Riku wanting to have the strength to protect Sora, attaining that strength, but also being aware that Sora can take care of himself and has his own strength

And of course, this world is ended with a funny sex joke and Flynn getting stared down by Maximus and wet willied by pascal

Since here we're done with the worlds in the first area of gummi space and launched into the next, I'm gonna add that after every world I spend forever in gummi space farming meteorites and occasionally fighting the heartless and some boss battles, and every time I get launched into the next area of gummi space, I get all the treasure planets and the warp zone things too (apparently actual words evade me for both those things today). Legit though, farming meteorites is so helpful in getting synthesis materials you can use for upgrading your keyblades

So next was on to Monstropolis. I don't have much to talk about here.

The big blue turtletoad unversed are annoying, and ngl, I had to dodge around a lot and play safe so I wouldn't die in like 2 hits.

Both the keyblade forms for Oathkeeper amd the form for Ultima on monster Sora are just so epic!!!

Poor Sora so tired of dealing with computers thst when Goofy suggests smashing it, he's completely ready

Monstropolis: Randal nearly becomes leather wear before Vanitas saves him

The fact that Sora, Donald, and Goofy talked about Sora's weird kh1 smile and afterwards actually came up with a name for it. "Do the silly face special!" Also, when Monster Sora does it, it's definitely cute compared to the kh1 scene

The final boss unversed still sucked and took me plenty of tries, but I think I did better than my proud run.

YEETUS VANITAS

Ngl, I chanted YEETUS VANITAS cause I knew when it was coming

Poor Vanitas. He just need some love. From what I can tell in kh3, he's probably not hurting like he was in bbs and is less angry, and because there was a hole in his heart, he believed he had to join with Ventus to fill it even though their hearts have grown apart. Vanitas probably needs love to fill that hole

And last but definitely not least! Sora's Kingstagram post on the Vanitas scene where he learns that Ven is in his heart. And at the end of it, after talking about how apparently Ven is in his heart and stuff (I think) he's just like, "Would Riku know?" And the fact that Sora's included Riku in the Kingstagram posts means he was probably thinking about him and the fact he thinks Riku might know these things just... aaaaaaaa brooooo

idk if im in the minority for this, the real unpopular opinion will come later with joey but. i love her so much??? “oh but shes a villain and tortures boris” yea i know thats what villains do. sammy tries to kill you for crying out loud.  she’s just. such a fun antagonist. maybe it’s just me but bad guys who are all about perfection and stuff are very good and fun if written correctly and she’s so delightfully evil and charismatic? plus her design is absolute bomb.

SPEAKING OF WHICH. JOEY DREW. HAH. TIME TO GO WITH THE CONTROVERSY bc i remember when ch5 came out everyone and their dog found HIS appearence underwhelming. ngl at first i was a little upset he wasnt the ink demon, but i’m honestly so glad he isn’t? while i still love inkdemon!joey, canon joey is... great. he’s an antagonist without really being one. he’s not evil, he’s not a villain who’s actively trying to murder everyone and everything to achieve perfection or revenge.

he’s just... a man who made a big mistake. a man with a dream, that sounds so genuine and delightful in his tapes up until the very last one where he finally shows his frustration about how much his dream doesnt fulfill the expectations.  he’s just an old man filled with regrets and sadness, likely simply because he didn’t achieve what he always wanted, but perhaps especially because he knows what he left behind?

his empire, of course, but his friends too. henry didnt talk to him for 30 years and it’s pretty obvious the two were close, and so many people - employees, FRIENDS - died or ended up completely deranged because of his mistakes. seeing him as nothing but a frail sad man, with no joy in his voice? it hurts, but feels like the perfect ending for him.

a bad ending, a SAD ending. a just ending. he wanted everything, (unknowingly) played with and ruined others, and for that he’s left alone with his memories.

So for background knowledge, this creation was spawned after I read "The Call of Cthulhu" and then took a nap on the bus and woke up with an epiphany that grew into All This. It. Makes more sense if you've read the aforementioned story.

OKAY SO the general idea of the AU is that it's the 1920s in New England. Jotaro Kujo is studying at a Generic Scary University of Dark Evil Research and getting a major in Space Octopus Cults or whatever. Kakyoin is a tormented soul; he has a sensitivity to the whispers of the Great Old Ones and has had them in his head fucking shit up for basically his entire life so he's pretty far from being a healthy human being. He lives at the University and spends a good amount of his time in the library trying to open a gate to allow his dark gods into our reality.

Jotaro starts frequenting the library because he's studying for his Ominous Classes and Kakyoin takes notice of him, kinda staring from the corner of the room unblinking. Eventually, Kakyoin asks if he wants to study ancient tomes together (😳) an Jotaro agrees because he wants to pass. Jotaro is unreceptive of the great old ones, so he can't sense the shitty evil vibes dripping from Kakyoin's entire being. Kakyoin wants Jotaro to see his vile octopus friends, and his weird crush and desire to find more servants of the Old Ones create a link between the two of them, allowing Kakyoin's nasty vibes to bleed over into Jotaro's dreams. Jotaro starts having harrowing nightmares because of this and then waking up to Kakyoin staring at him like 👁️👄👁️ but he doesn't put 2 and 2 together because he's slow on the uptake and thinks Kakyoin is a fun and normal pal who helps him study.

This goes on for a while, with Kakyoin being very persistent and Jotaro being too down to earth to get possessed, until Jotaro finds him trying to open a gate and goes "oh shit-" and stops him.

At this point, the story splits into 3 main timelines.

Timeline 1: Kakyoin fails and the Old Ones are banished

Kakyoin is finally free from the the tentacled grasp of the horrors that lived in his brain, but without them, life feels... empty. The cold silence inside him is unbearable, and he slips into madness and despair. He latches onto Jotaro and becomes dependent of him. Unfortunately, he's not completely separate from the Old Ones. He misses them, and wants to summon them back to the physical world, so he has to be monitered closely for a while. He eventually recovers fully, going on to become a researcher of the weird and arcane alongside Jotaro.

Timeline 2: Kakyoin fails but gets to keep Octopus Privileges.

This one is much less solid, and likely results in one of the other two endings, just in a different way. In this timeline, Jotaro learns about Kakyoin's weird cult shit but doesn't do anything because he thinks he can handle it and doesn't want anyone else to find out and hurt Kakyoin/he doesn't know how bad the Old Ones are/some other reason idk. So life carries on as usual. They study together, Jotaro has ominous dreams and wakes up in a cold sweat, Kakyoin watches him with luminous unblinking eyes and waits for him to submit to the will of the Old Ones. He occasionally has to restrain Kakyoin and stop him from doing awful shit. Life is good. (There's also a chance he warps Jotaro's mind irrecoverably after a while via dreams.... unhinged Jotaro......)

Timeline 3: Kakyoin succeeds and plunges Earth into chaos.

Bad timeline. Kakyoin opens his interplanar gate and calls the Old Ones into our reality. He either manages to complete a ritual without Jotaro knowing/being able to inerfere OR he shatters Jotaro's psyche from a prolonged assault to his mind and bends him to the Old Ones' will. He successfully brings about an age of madness and frenzy, bringing mankind to its knees.

About that Carry On Prinxiety AU

For now I laid out a bit of the plot, if you want to share some ideas just hit me up~

This is going to be a LOT to take on my shoulders but I will try and probably fail BUT TRYING IS KEYWORD (i really do believe in myself don't I? Everything under the cut!)

Since they all have their peculiarities, I'm gonna say that yes Virgil might be the Baz and Roman could be the Simon of this story, but I think either would fit for different reasons so they just have the same energy and will keep their own characterization. (If I'm able to not go ooc on this one wish me luck)

If I'm creative enough I'll try making an American school that is located in Florida, so that the characters know nothing much about what's happening in Watford and I can still make references without chronological contradictions.

Thomas could probably be the head mage too. I'm imagining him being very interested in the Normal culture and dressing like a Normal adult instead of the head of a great magical school, his "obsession" (kind of like Arthur Weasley's, if you will) is not really well-liked by most of the mages (especially the Old Fams), some believe that the students should have a better example instead of a man that always seems on the verge of leaving the magic world behind. The students, on the other hand, love him very much thank you. (yes even the ones whose parents insult him)

Oh my god I just had an epiphany: imagine Thomas obviously being in love with Disney and maybe Roman is very close to him so like he's talking about Virgil and Thomas just STRAIGHT UP STARTS SINGING SMTH LIKE THE MUSES' PARTS IN WON'T SAY IM IN LOVE OR LIKE THAT LION KING ONE AAAAAAAA and Roman is like ssss t o p but in the end joins in because he's w e a k (same)

Anyway for the main bois what I was thinking was that, with the prophecies about the Chosen One being there for a long time and them not knowing about Simon or anything, (this is becoming like Skam, there are many Snowbaz in the world) they just so happen to find in Roman an extraordinary amount of magic

Everybody is convinced Roman might be the Greatest Mage, the info flies out into the magical world of America but they decide to not share the info with other states. Roman gets very excited about this and works hard and trains himself in preparation for the big moment where he was going to have his big fight.

Virgil is his roommate (oh my god they were roommates), and of course, they can't stand each other at all. Virgil is definitely fed up with this story about the Chosen One, which Roman brings out in any possible conversation, so he uses it against him to tease him. Just imagine Roman bragging about something and Virgil being like "yeah but for a Greatest Mage you still haven't done anything so Great", or like Roman is having trouble with a spell or a subject? "Aren't you the chosen one?", Virgil only brings it up to make him mad and loves his flustered face. (keyword "loves" *wink*)

As much as I'm hopelessly in love with the idea of Vamp!Virgil (which would fit if he had Baz's role), I just had an angsty idea so I'm saving it for later c:

Hey how about a half-elf Virgil??? Anyone? Sorry I love elves

As for the time they spend together, they do the same thing as Simon and Baz, they avoid each other, spend time out of their room if the other's in there, make up different routines so they don't have to share anything and only really stay in the same room if they have to sleep. (idk why i said "if" like they don't need sleep)

Let me remind you that the beds are very close.

One time Roman woke up in the middle of the night and screamed in fear upon seeing a figure on the window.

It was just Virgil and he almost fell out, he would have probably smacked his head if it wasn't for the roommates' anathema or whatever it is called in english.

Virgil said he just couldn't sleep but he will never admit it was because of a pretty violent nightmare.

Roman does really think that he doesn't sleep at all and just uses his magic to stay awake judging by the dark circles under his eyes.

idk about you but I like the idea of Logan being something similar to Penelope, so Logan is Roman's best friend, they had met in the first year and Logan seemed one of the only ones who didn't approach Roman only because of his fame about being the Chosen One. Logan is simply amazing and brilliant at all subjects and surprises everyone since he's said to come from a family with weak powers.

Roman finds in him a very valid studying companion and he has to admit a lot of his best spells come from practicing/learning them from Logan. Also Logan loves explaining the stuff he's learnt, while Roman has this insatiable will to know everything to be able to defeat whatever bad guy will present in front of him. They basically become inseparable, despite having some friendly fights that are always solved with a snack break.

They !! deeply !! care !! for !! each other !!

Out of the other characters idk if Patton would fit anybody entirely, but I'm going to keep the 3v3 groups, so Pat will most likely be hanging out with Roman and Logan, he's actually very good friends with Virgil (none can escape Patton's friendliness) and tries to reason with Roman when he's mad about something Virge might have said. He's probably the reason why he hasn't killed Virgil yet. Patton doesn't come from a big family and lives with his grandmother when he's out of school. (I still have to develop this)

Forget about Dev and Niall and get ready for Deceit and Remus. I don't wanna give a headcanon name to Deceit bc I don't have one so he's gonna be a mysterious boy and everyone will call him Dee since it's the nickname I use for him. Both of them are two chaotic messes in their own ways. Dee, despite still being composed most of the times, is VERY fixated on his society discourses and arguments, he could come up to you one day out of the blue being like "so about the plan to overthrow the government" and you probably never even heard of it in the first place

JUST GIVE ME PASSIONATE DECEIT

Remus, on the other hand, messes a LOT with spells and you can see him traveling to the weirdest places. One day he was found trying to make the water creatures do a circus bit for him. People don't know how he's able to make his way through tests, but it's actually because he loves bugging Dee since he doesn't give the slightest shit about the weird things he suggests and they often end up studying together.

(I had the wildest thought thinking about Remus as Trixie)

Virgil, Deceit and Remus are what people call the "Untouchable trio", only because they come from the highest and oldest of the Old Families. They had been friends ever since kids since their Families met quite often, they never really fell apart despite being very different from one another. They're actually pretty chill people, it is only their surnames that make some people wary of them. They're not generally approached by anyone.

Idk if I wanna bring Emile and Remy in this, but I am tempted™, I'll think about it

So, Roman, am I right? Forgot to say he comes from a pretty big fam of hunters, they're the types of people that are lovable but won't hesitate to kill a bitch if needed.

But Purp, where's our creativitwins content? Thing is, yes they're actually brothers, but they were separated ever since kids for reasons none really knows? They never talk about it, even if asked to. They were given to two different families. They're aware of each other, but none has ever seen them interact. (I might find some angsty backstory on this just you wait)

Up until here Roman has always believed himself to be destined to the greater good, he's the chosen one, his destiny is the one to be the protagonist of the magic world and its hero.

At least that's what he thought until the fifth year.

One day during the fifth year, Virgil was doing homework on his room's table when Roman bursts in, louder than usual, and throws himself face-first on the bed, uncaring about ruining his hair or his clothes. That was an unusual sight since he never came into the room before evening or even before dinner. Virgil immediately knew something was wrong, but he didn't realize how serious the thing was.

So of course, he teases him a bit trying to get some info from him but only makes the situation worse. When Virgil calls him Greatest Mage as a joke, that's when Roman finally snaps at him in a way that Virge would have never expected. Roman really is enraged, yells at him and throws his pillow across the room since he can't hit him. He storms out of the room when he feels tears forming in his eyes, but can't really hide his sobbing as he goes away.

Virgil is just standing there, aware that he had just made Roman cry for the first time in his life and hated the sight with his whole being.

Roman had just learnt that he wasn't, in fact, the Chosen One, nor the Greatest Mage. Just an ordinary mage, like anybody else, who, in his opinion, had no other destiny than to finish school, find a job and just ... live?

So he's destroyed, all those dreams revealed themselves to be castles built in the air.

School is ending and Roman is just a bit numb, he's not really failing his classes but he's not as bright as ever. He barely leaves his room and doesn't talk to his friends as often, who are very concerned. Even Virgil tries to talk to him at some point. Thomas visits him when he has time and tries to work through the issue with him, but for the rest of the fifth year, there's nothing much to do to cheer him up.

Things seem to go back to normal as years pass and he's not in the spotlight anymore, none really talks about the Greatest Mage anymore and mages just carry on with their studies as they've always done. Everything's fine and normal.

And Roman hates it. But he's working in the shadow, so none notices his discomfort.

It only happens when he reaches the eighth year. It's impossible for Virgil to not recognize that Roman is slipping away at night and only comes back after some hours, either with dirty clothes or things tangled in his hair, he always came back different from when he left, meaning he definitely was wandering off outside.

One night he really can't stop thinking about how worried he is that Roman might get in trouble by himself, while he could probably prevent that, so he decides to follow him. Apparently, Roman is trying to find some kind of important and scary adventure to prove to himself that he's not as useless as he thinks himself to be, but Virgil still doesn't know this.

Virgil doesn't know what to do about the situation and decides to talk to Patton about it, in the end, the two of them decide to make a plan to talk to Roman with Logan, too.

On the other hand, Roman had been seen hanging out with Deceit or Remus, or both at the same time, trying to pry out information from them about how to get to certain forbidden spots of the school if he ever needed to. Surprisingly they don't ask many questions.

Chaos ensues when one night everything goes horribly wrong.

SO YEAH these are a bunch of things that I got right off the bat, I still have to think about the entire plot but don't want to spoil anything, basically the story would begin on the eighth year, just like Carry On, when Roman starts sneaking out. There might be things I need to fix but still I repeat that this is just a draft or a bunch of ideas that I got together somehow.

Mhmm, that’s not that surprising... Dirk knew that Karkat was going to run against Jane, but Jane didn’t, even though Dirk was ostensibly “working” for her.  There’s definitely a plan here.  Maybe it involves Jane and Karkat smooching publicly at the end.  ...No, that’s just my wishful imagination talking, isn’t it.

Oh my god she’s screaming into a pillow at hearing she has competition.  That’s adorable.

YES, JANE.  UNDERESTIMATE KARKAT.  YOU WILL FALL IN LOVE WITH HIM LIKE EVERYONE ELSE (though probably platonically).  It does upset me that they’ve taken this long to really get acquainted, though; I’ve argued for years that their personalities are naturally compatible as the straight men for all their friends’ bullshit.

In fact, Jane is pretty sure that Karkat Vantas would probably literally burst into flame if too many people happened to look at him at the same time, like a vampire walking out into the sun.

Yes, but he’d get over it.  And be a flaming president or something.

In fact, Jane cannot remember a single conversation she’s ever had with him that wasn’t about the economy. She thinks back to one time at John’s eighteenth birthday when Dave engaged her in a rigorous and rather one-sided debate about deregulation and the failure of “neoliberal austerity measures” until Karkat had to come over and put his hands over his roommate’s mouth to make him stop talking.

Oh my FUCKING god, it’s true.  Dave’s appropriately liberal in the modern, Krugman-esque, statistically grounded way.  Karkat has my vote already.

She’d be happy to accept a graceful, temporary defeat and let Karkat play president for a couple of years. After all, unlike her, he was not immortal.

Hey fuck you.  Also, why the FUCK haven’t they used one of the myriad likely ways to extend Karkat’s lifespan basically indefinitely yet???  Heck, JANE could probably do it with Life powers if she crawled back out of her own butt!  We already know the Condesce could extend other trolls’ lifespans with weird troll powers so Life powers are almost certainly enough to suffice.  >:(

Ohhh, so maybe Jane is just, like... slightly traumatized by trolls? And thus a little tiny bit predisposed against trusting them cause of the Condesce? :(

Interesting how she views her past reliance on / pursuance of Jake as something that made her “weak” specifically.

What Jade leaves in her wake is not quite the emotional scorched-earth situation that she was going for, but a few of her needles have definitely gotten under some skin. Dave and Karkat both stare after her, silently caught in their own private rationalization spirals.

So this whole time Jade’s been all “JUST KISS ALREADY” and they’ve been all “what no” and now she’s just laid it all out in the open and left them to it.  Yeah that sounds about like what would’ve happened.

Aaaand of course, since this is Dave and Karkat, they just choose to stall some more and play video games.  Jade really DOES complete this relationship with her pushing them to accept reality and stop downplaying their own feelings and self-esteem and all.  But that’s what I thought would happen BEFORE I even read any epilogue stuff so I’m biased.

Yup.  Closing another callback.  Why is it silent, though?  Did the black hole stop sucking now that it’s gotten almost everything but John, or is it just his blackout?  I mean, is the end of everything just a thing that “happens” (which is still pretty fine, Paradox Space had a pretty good run), or did it just stop, or is it yet to be resolved or re-John-creates-Paradox-Space’s-beginning-because-hes-the-only-thing-left-constituted if he inexplicably doesn’t die from his heroic wounds or?  And Terezi definitely didn’t go flying around Paradox Space’s dying remains just to get sucked in too, right?  I definitely haven’t seen the whole picture yet I guess.

GAMERS! Episode 04

UUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCKKKKK???????!!!!!!!!!!!

-Opening! Third time seeing it, third game in the lineup! And oh, this one is near and dear to my heart. It’s SMASH! Super Smash Brothers has been a prominent fighting game (Not having that argument) ever since its initial release back in 1999, letting you beat up your least favorite Nintendo characters with your most favorite! And also Sonic and Cloud Strife. The series, from a gameplay perspective, is most well-known for its unique control scheme, as well as its flip of the traditional fighting game health bar: instead of trying to reduce your opponent’s HP to zero, you want to raise a percentage as high as you can, with each point of percent making them get flung that much further from your next hit, until they either can’t make it back to the stage or just straight up go into the wall. It’s pretty great. Also, cross promotion time, I’ve been doing a series of analysis articles on the core roster from the original N64 game! Go check it out!

-We begin, with a clear blue sky. A day in Tendou Karen’s magnificent life! BEFORE. At 5:30 AM, she awakes clearly and smoothly, allowing herself only a single yawn before she is upright with a cheerful gaze into the morning sky. Then she’s dressed, and out for a morning jog to keep up her youthful demeanor and self-betterment. 

-By the time she returns to home and cleans up, she’s wide awake and energized for the entire day, able to handle her morning studies  with ease to keep her grades at their best…Then it’s a modest breakfast, getting her uniform just right, and after a quick check to make sure her basic appearance doesn’t have any major problems(but with no need to fuss too much over it), she’s off!

-At school it’s a bit of light socialization with her dear and precious friends from all parts of her life, both gamer and non. Then to her locker, where she clears out a fresh stack of love notes, grabs her indoor shoes,  and focuses on the problems she can solve then and there. Between classes, she even helps the teachers! But then, there is the most tragic part of the day…The part where she processes those love notes, and has to gently let down each and every soul who asked her. Not because she thinks herself too good for them, but because she simply has no desire or room for romance in her life, and would not be able to give any of these honest souls the proper time they deserve.

-Then after class is done, it’s down to her secret passion, the game club, where the intense atmosphere of the club invigorates her more, as they all push forward on their dreams! Until finally, that evening, it is back home for a review of her studies and a brief look over tomorrow’s lessons, a little more gaming at home, and then in bed fairly early. A perfect day, with no troubles or worries to befall her~

-And now…A day in Tendou Karen’s Magnificent Life, AFTER

-We begin well after the 5:30 alarm has started going off, with Karen clinging to her blanket like it’s a dakimakura. She stirs, only to realize she was having a naughty dream about Keita! Oh god focus!  Okay, back to sleep, normal sleep, without dirty dreams!

-7:02 rolls around and Karen snaps to life,realizing she hasn’t done ANYTHING yet. A frantic attempt comes to do her homework despite  missing plenty of the time she needs, her mind a mess. Then a desperate scarfing of breakfast at maximum speed, and a sprint to get dressed, and oh god has her hair always looked this bad? Was this how it looked yesterday? Does she need product? Makeup? WHY WON’T THIS BANG LAY PROPERLY OH GOD THE TIME GO GO…And her mom finds her trying to leave still in her pajama pants.

-8:26, Karen gets to school barely in time and desperately gets her mind in order…Only to open her locker and not account for the love notes today, causing them all to spill everywhere, as Keita walks by AAAAH KEITA SHE NEEDS TO HIDE! But stare!

-Between class, she tries to keep things normal by helping the teachers, but is a little…intense, and also is carrying things completely in the wrong direction because THIS direction lets her go by Keita’s class. She’ll loop around! Why is Keita not in class. Where is Keita?! And as she keeps looping…There’s Keita with Tasuku getting back from their break OH GOD KEITA PANIC FLEE

-Then comes the most depressing part of the day, when she has to turn down these honest souls…But when one asks if it’s because she’s got her eye on some other guy, Karen turns into again glowing tomato and loses all composure. And okay, he can tell you’re into some other guy…

-To the game club! Where Karen tries to focus and play Guilty Gear, but Niina has to get her to snap out of it and actually, you know, play. What’s on your mind? …Keita. Keita Keita Keita Keita Keita Keita Keita! You got it bad, girl. Even Gakuto notices how she’s losing her edge. And that’s a problem for the game club president. So she tries to focus…

-That night, she doesn’t lay down until midnight, when she tries to get herself to stop thinking about Keita…An hour later, she’s still trying. Another hour, she’s starting to rationalize it and turning into a mess. And thus ends another magnificent day in the life of Tendou Karen.

-The next day, Karen has not had sleep, and her mind is awash in thoughts. Cut to in the game club, when she works on Puyo Puyo with Eiichi, only for him to ask if she’s heard anything new about Keita and that Chiaki girl…And Karen just breaks again, losing the match. Which sends her on a long walkabout to clear her head. She sees how empty she looks inside in her own reflection…Why can’t she focus? It’s all because that damn Keita got into her brain…He’d better take responsibility for this! Wait that sounds pervy. And as she stomps off to try and focus…She runs into Keita out in the streets! Um…Er…One moment.

-Turn, deep breath, focus, turn back, good afternoon! What brings you by here? Apparently he went straight home, went to go play vidjagames, and his mom finally made him leave the house to get some air. …Harsh, my dude. …Want to join her for a walk? W-W-Wait what?! H-He’s not worthy of that! Oh god she’s going to get rejected again…But NO! Straight up, do you dislike her??? Of, of course not!

-Oh god that wasn’t what she expected, her brain has poofed. As he mentions a fear of causing rumors about her…Oh god, rumors of him with HER…Aaaaaaa. So Keita tries to take his leave, but she grabs him before he can go! YOU CAN’T GET AWAY! Just, JUST COME ON! No more rejection! No date, just a walk! As much as she wants it to be a date…

-And she marches him right off to the game shop, where his fears and nerves fade to oh man they’ve got some games he wanted on markdown, and he just got his allowance, he can build his collectionnnn! And Karen sees him getting Golden Memories finally, the blonde-girl dating sim…Oh god he really likes blondes, she, can she use this, okay deep breath, try to focus…And in the end, a nervous Keita ends up buying the game.

-And then the long walk continues as she starts to lead him towards the arcade. He didn’t think she ever went to the arcade. Oh, she only goes on days the club doesn’t meet. Ahh…He doesn’t go often, but recently got to go with a friend, and it was really fun with someone by his side. A FRIEND?! WAS IT THAT BLUENETTE?! They’re here. …Okay, calm down, Karen, calm down. He clearly meant Tasuku. He must have. It’s the only possibility her mind can accept okay FOCUS! She can play a round of something against Keita, kick his ass, prove her superiority, and get herself off of this slump!

-When he spots the crane games and wonders if she’s the type to get competitive in them. Oh, she’s not really into prize games…Wait did you play them with that bluenette and get all lovey dove?! AAAAAAAA DEATH TO CRANE GAMES

-And then he ends up pouring a bunch of money into a coin machine and now she’s feeling like she has to prove herself! A CHALLENGE!  It’s the only way to reclaim her honor! Thirty minutes to win, Keita! Whoever can get the most prizes, is the victor!

-And thus Karen goes to find the most efficient turn of tokens into prizes with the various coin games, which are a weird weird beast at the best of times. The classic pusher ones are all occupied…And of course, Keita is a complete useless newbie. Okay, focus, calm herself, move forward—

-30 minutes later, Keita’s money is all gone and Karen has a bucket of coins. And yet Keita still has a good mood on his face! HOW. HOW CAN YOU BE LIKE THIS…And why is it ruining her mood?! When a coin bounces away, and Keita picks it up, finding himself in front of a Onami classic, WILD HORSE RACE. Can he have a play. Oh, fine…

-So he casually drops it in, taking one last shot at the coin game challenge…Which Karen completely forgot about. But he wants to meet it honestly, because, you know, it matters to you. And a challenge is only fun if you win! Come on, little mechanical horses! And…His horse of choice lost. Daaaang. But Karen’s brain has broken because she’s spent the last several weeks thinking of Keita as the type who doesn’t like a competitive play-to-win mentality, but now, NOW…

-To a confrontation at the park. Why did you try so hard if you’re not into competition?! Well, he likes winning, of course. If he didn’t care about winning at all, he wouldn’t play, you know? As he gets a drink from a vending machine with a random chance game on it, and ends up with durian juice of all things…But he also gets a free drink and is today’s lucky winner! Okay, use that for…Her drink. He’ll stick with the crappy durian juice. Winning, losing, you take them honestly, that’s part of the fun.

Episode 2 Confessionals

who is bryce and how long has he been on this tribe

so my daughter emma left and im the only one who stood by her side. i still have lexi on my side. hopefully adam, jordan pines (shocking) and jay. im mostly working with jordan and jay bcuz they might know lexi and i are friends. considering i was in the india reuinon chat and kicked from it on and off for weeks. also katie is in this game and i know she's bffls with adam, so i wanna work with him to keep that door open. and katie is also bffs with jordan so ILL GIVE THAT LITTLE PINES BOY A CHANCE

Me forgetting to make a confessional doesn't surprise me. Anyway I got an advantage from the wishing well thing and I'm shook that it worked to get half the tribe on call

I think I made a pretty good connection with Chris, especially based on the fact that we are in 2 orgs together. I would like to align with one more person and make it an alliance of 3, so when I get the chance to talk to Chris, that could hopefully be set up. I want to be a bit more straightforward with my goals in this org unlike in some of the previous ones I have played recently. I've been waiting for someone to come to me but maybe if I go to a couple people, they will respect and trust me more because I want to align with them. It worked well with Chris. I have a few different alliances, each sort of mixing with the other. I got a 1 on 1 of me and adam. I got a 3 person one of me Luke and Jay. And I think I am working with Ryan and Willa. Separately of course. Anyways i'm not too worried about going home. I just hope we win shit soon.

Also we won the first challenge yay!! I'm really scared to go to tribal b/c I don't think I'm in a majority. The reward challenge is usually something I'd like but I finally fixed my sleeping schedule and its about to get ruined again probably. I'm so tired but I want to win. The wishing well is also strange. I didn't get chosen this time and no one told me they did either so yikes :s! Here's hoping things look less grim.

heyyyy im back! after we won immunity (bless), i kinda just.. .stopped talking to ppl but everyone else stopped talking so its fine and idc! emma got voted out and im PRETTY sure i dont know them so idc. i know willa so im happy they stayed over emma. then came the reward, where ryan slung a ball we had to catch it to open treasure chests, and we dominated ! (well not we, but the rest of my tribe), they got 4/6 balls and charlotte managed to open the chest so we won reward and a visit to the wishing well! at the wishing well, i chose #9 bc... it SPOKE to me, and... My ADD made it almost impossible to keep up with this high speed challenge so I kept /leave on my message box the whole time hoping it would become an option to get points... man I'm a smarty pants and also now I get to sleep!

I am so stressed for tribal. I think I have something good with Carson and Zachary but I still need two votes hopefully Willow and Charlotte vote with me and we can do Eric or Chris. Chris doesn't respond to my messages ever so I'd prefer to do that honestly but idk I am just hoping it works out

Willow told me she heard Chris's name and im like "HELLL NAW IM NOT VOTING CHRIS BAI." I need Willow, and I need Chris, and there is no way either of us 3 are going to go this tribal.

So I talked to Willow and she's like "my two top allies blah blah blah. Anonymous blah blah blah" and I'm thinking to myself, "Why would you tell me that someone other than me is your top ally. You could of had me sold if you said I was your only top ally." Now I know there is someone you might keep over me." And I have strong suspicions that her top ally that isn't me is 1 of these 3: Katie, Carson, Charlotte. Either way, I am going to remember what Willow said if we are ever in merge together and I need to think about saving her or someone else, especially if one of these suspicions are in merge with us.

SO WE WON IMMUNITY! Even without help from Jay, Lexi and Willa the rest of us killed the challenge and took home immunity. I'm so happy that we won immunity because Willa was looking like he'd be the  next person to go and I kind of don't want that? I know it puts me in a pretty precarious spot with my alliance since they agreed it's probably best if Willa leaves next. If I can't save Willa at all then I'll vote him out but if I can save him that would be GREAT for me. I want to get closer to Ryan and Adam. Adam and I talked during the first tribal council and we're both pretty straight forward thinkers and know what's best for the tribe so I'm interested with working with him. Ryan is someone who I really want to work with and he's close with Lexi which means I might have to vote her out so that he'll fully trust me?? Idk we'll see. I've been thinking about what Ulta will do at tribal because if a winner from that tribe ends up leaving and then we swap and I end up on an Ulta dominated tribe...that's bad news for me. 

So I think I'll get at least one vote here. But I feel good with my alliance that they'll have my back. I trust carson the most, then charlotte, then zachary, but I trust them all so that's good.  I think  Willow and Eric are together but I don't think they'll be able to get chris and Katie on their side. Willow wanting chris is also pretty bad so idk I think I'm safe at least I hope so cuz I'm really starting to enjoy the cast and season!! Should be a 7-1 or 6-2 or 6-1-1 vote hopefully and then 4-4 at worst

NOW HE WANTS TO VOTE CHARLOTTE OUT TOO WHICH>>> SDKJSDKJ. i see why he went premerge so many times right now. like... if you try something over and over, and it doesn't work. take another LOOK!! but whatever i could be getting bamboozled but the plan is to get out eric bc he blew up his game by scrambling with little numbers, and withholding info (like telling bryce that he should vote charlotte and he couldnt tell him why but hed give him 3 rounds of safety DSJKSJK...) hopefully im not being dumb and im actually right.
