Did a study of one of the scenes from the episode Through the Looking Glass Ruins, referenced from a screenshot from the show

I wanted to get outside my comfort zone a bit and draw something creepy with darker tones since I tend to draw cutesy stuff with lots of saturated colours lol

I absolutely adore this scene and this episode of The Owl House, I think illusionists in TOH are the coolest and seeing Gus come into his own was just awesome. Plus this scene is just delightfully creepy, I love how dark the show can be at times 😆

I only kind of feel bad that Bria was traumatized for life 😅

Along Barcelona's Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes is the Gaudi-influenced confection Casa Pere Brias. To the point of optical illusion, this facade takes Gaudi's "melting ice cream" style to its logical conclusion.

It was designed and constructed by Julián Garca Néz in 1903 and stands out along a major thoroughfare in the heart of Barcelona. With such a visually stunning metropolis, it was inevitable that buildings would strive for viewers' attention; this one makes no apologies about making its presence known.

Let's, of course, start with our two Queens (figuratively and literally respectively). Bria is of course of glam, pink, rich girl aesthetic. The photo of the women represent her love of fashion, the woman with the glasses is just her vibes, the black and white pic represent how she's kind of trapped in her image and role. The stuffed chanel purse represent her busy life trying to juggle it all. Overall the pic is pretty chaotic which represents Bria, as well lol

For Diana, obvisoulsly, its giving Regal Queen Vibes. The chair represents her role and how it's kind of lonely. The ceiling and crown represent how her role kind of overshadows her whole existence. The books because she loves reading and learning. The Black Queen I think goes without saying lol
