Since taking over Passione and aligning with Sangue Reale and the influential conglomerate owned by her father, Bri and Giorno's lives had been cast into the limelight so to speak. They had worked hard to display only what was necessary but their inner circle alone knew just how far their power reached. At the heart of it all though, they still longed for a few simple pleasures, whether it was dashing out of events masquerading as a couple of kids coming from their prom when attempting to buy fast-food or escaping their own parties to dance barefoot in Bri's garden, they never let the little things become boring because it represented their roots. Fate is a strong theme in JJBA so I went with that for Bri and Gio, always emphasizing that they were twin flames or two parts of the same soul, that were fated to find each other and help one another grow.

Yayy it's selfship Sunday 🥰🌟

I'm in a festive, but slightly angsty mood today and keep thinking about bitter sweet things that happen in villa Giovanna during this time of year. I already spoke vaguely about some of the holiday traditions that are important to Bri and Giorno, so I'll just add on to that. This is just what happens in Bri's canon.

In their first Christmas together Bri went a bit OTT with everything. She wanted to make sure that everyone felt special and wanted to start new traditions that they would take forward. One of the traditions that endured through the years was that of the huge Christmas eve party that they had. In the beginning they spent Christmas mornings together but as they starting moving out to their own places that changed, but they always regrouped and spent Christmas evening together. Trish tries to join them at this time of she isn't touring or too busy with her other activities.

The day is slightly more emotional and would be spent honoring their relatives memories and spending time with the ones that they were close to.

Bucciarati usually left first thing in the morning, taking some time to visit his father's grave and sometimes meeting his mother, later on Ari (@thequeenofthenightgentlyweeps stunning OC) would join him, each supporting the other. I hc Mista to be religious so I feel he would leave just before midnight to attend mass and visit with his family. Narancia and Bri are usually a bit quieter during the day because they each reflect on their pasts before visiting their mother's graves. Fugo tends to end up going with Narancia and Giorno usually goes with Bri, quietly sitting beside her, listening when she divulges tidbits about her childhood. It's how she copes, finding it difficult to cry when it's for her own sadness.

Giorno usually makes the bouquets for each of them to take with, a pure white one for Bucciarati (and later Ari), one dotted with pastel orange blooms for Narancia and baby pink for Bri. When they all find their peace they find their way back to the villa and spend the rest of the time with each other, thankful that even though they may have lost so much, they still have each other.

Ahhhh this is the aesthetic thats usually aimed for.
