"I could make it!" You exclaimed while hugging from behind your beloved boyfriend, Monoma Neito.

With all the crowd at the ball room he couldn't quite identify you as you entered the grand doors of his mansion—well, his parent's mansion.

You were wearing an elegant outfit, purposefully matching with your boyfriend's traits, golden jewelry with carefully placed grey seams to highlight your black clothes.

Making Monoma jump on his place before recognizing your voice and trying to smile to act as if you hadn't just scared him.

"Well hello you". He said cheekily, wrapping his arm around your waist, proceeding to admire your choice of clothes. He hand't expected you to come since you told him you had an emergency on your work.

"Hope I'm not late". You said engulfing Monoma into another hug, recovering your breath from running the last trail on your own.

"You're not, don't worry". He took on your relieved form and smiled contentedly, he really didn't want to spend another minute smile-faking to people he couldn't even remember where they came from. Even less chatting with them.

"Thanks for making it over" he whispered, as you felt his hug tighten just a little bit more.

This were the rare moments Monoma let himself be fully visible to you, which made you fall for him even more.

"Anytime".

Big Feelings

Whenever it came to class 1-A, Monoma has always been loud, sarcastic, and mocking.

You knew how he indeed was.

You knew he wasn't like that when you got to know him.

No one knew his true self.

You know when you and Monoma would hang out, just the two of you. He was so caring and in tune with your feelings and if you needed anything.

Monona was an excellent cook; he put his whole heart into everything he cooked. So, seeing how some of his classmates would treat him or how others perceived him broke your heart.

You would call Monoma insecure; he wasn't sure how to make friends.

Many kids and adults around him would make fun of him as he grew up.

'We would look like losers hanging out with someone with such a lame quirk.'

'You might as well be quirkless,' Many people would tell him.

Since then, Monona would put on this fake persona and act like someone he wasn't.

Today was the day you were working with class 1-A, and you could feel the energy from Monoma in waves.

It wasn't going to be a good day, that's for sure.

So you thought of a plan.

Instead of Monona making you dinner and dessert. You would make it for him instead.

After training, you quickly ran to the locker room and changed when you saw Monoma waiting for you. You told him some lame excuse.

When you got to the apartment you and he shared, you threw all of your stuff at the front door and went straight to one of Monoma's favorite cookbooks, and you flipped to a random page and just picked something.

Soupe à l'oignon

Is what you decided on. You knew it wouldn't taste as good as Monoma would make it, but the thought counts, right?

So you quickly got to work.

What felt like an eternity and one messed-up kitchen later.

You finished cooking and setting everything up.

The concoction you had made looked good enough, but would it taste good.

"I'm home!" Monona yelled at the front door.

"Do you do this on purpose? Leaving your stuff at the front door?" You could hear his voice get closer.

You stood by the table and waited for him to come in when he stepped over the threshold.

"Surprise!" You yelled. Monona stood there staring at you.

"What's all this?" He asked.

"I thought I would cook you something." You explained. He came over and gave you a smile and a hug.

"It looks delicious. Why don't we sit down and eat, ok?" He told you. You nodded and sat down next to him.

You watched his every move and waited for his reaction.

It was instantaneous. He spits it out.

"What's wrong? Are you ok!?" You asked, panicked.

Monona started laughing.

"It's so not good!" He told you through his hysterics.

You stood up and looked at the recipe again; it then hit you that you used the wrong ingredient and must have misread it.

You dramatically fell to the floor.

"I'm sorry, I just wanted to do something nice for you…." You explained.

Monona came and sat on the floor next to you.

"I appreciate the gesture; I do. Why don't we go out for dinner, and we can come back, and then we can come back and clean this up. How does that sound?" He asks.

You looked at him with sad eyes and nodded, standing up and walking out the door to a favorite restaurant you and he enjoy.

as kids Neito was the same as he is in high school just a bit brattier. he threw a lot of tantrums that escalated to his face getting all red and wet with tears

he gives you weird nicknames depending on his mood he’s in, like if your looking for bugs with him he call you rollie pollie. but his favorite thing to call you is mochi, ‘cause to him your cheeks feel soft like the rice powder dessert

both of your parents let you guys have slumber parties up until high school little you getting scared after watching adventure time’s episode about the haunted house. you forced you body into Neito’s sleeping bag after

Neito’s insecure about his quirk especially with the kids in his class making fun of his quirk being “too weak” to actually fight villains. you sucker punched the boy for making Neito upset

when both of you entered u.a. he was pissed that you were in class 1-a and you didn’t hear the end of it on the way home together

gets territorial when he sees you actually making friends with your classmates and he will make it known to everyone in your class that he’s your #1

during the sports festival he would cheer you on no matter who was fighting you, even better if your going against one of your classmates.

when you guys get mandatory dorm rooms he’s always in your dorm or vice versa

your his sparring partner whenever you have free time. he got very offended when you chose to train with Bakugou instead of him

during the weekend you both get permission from principal Nezu

whenever a creep tries flirting with you he acts like your boyfriend or scares them off with his unhinged personality

his classmates got very confused one time he decided to give you space because you wanted to spend some time alone with Sero, because like he told Kendo, “I know when to back off whenever mochi needs space and she’ll do the same for me contrariwise.”

he’s very supportive when you said you had small crush on someone in your guys grade, he’ll pry you for any sign on who it is

he’ll try hooking you up with people he thinks our perfect matches for you(he’ll stop if you say so)

to this day you carry the sweet memory of Neito crying over the fact you put together a birthday bash for him with all his classmates and a couple of your friends

When you ain't attending the same school.

"So you have to bear with a 20 member's group and keep up with being the best one at that U.A. school you attend to ?". You laughed lightly and carefully, holding a glass of ( favorite soda ) amused by the seriousness in his voice.

"Yeah !-Wait... so you don't know U.A. heroes' high school ?". Turning to face you by being sat up in one of the many tables around the ball room of you mansion, Neito's widened eyes looked at yours.

You lowed your head, knowing what that surprised and slightly disappointed voice meant; smiling sadly you told him the truth.

"I've been willing to know more about the outdoors world, experience being free, but as you may've noticed, I can't because of family purposes ; I can't even search anything through internet without it being about some royalty manners or laws !".

Trying to lighten the mood a bit with that last "joke", from your personal life, Neito could kinda relate with you. Specially with the experience of being caged when not wanting to be.

"What if we go outside ?" he said, lowering his head too. His hand getting closer to yours.

"That sounds great, really, but, how do you intend us to do it?".

"Let's just do it, we'll think about something later".

Well, maybe it was a stupid young idea that may or may not come true, but you liked that "we'll".
