Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
yeah everyone who said you're gonna kill bi women or bi women should be euthanized or be wiped from the face of the earth in a plague or whatever i'm leaving your url in. sorry. (also i get the association with the golden retriever bf's meme or whatever but really? euthanasia?)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
^^these comments also got to me.
you can't just raise your standards out of experiencing misogyny sorry! it's so crazy the way bi women's experience of misogyny in relationships can get flipped around to make bi women the responsible party like huh?? girls make sure not to be "capable of having" a boyfriend who mistreats you 🙄
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
yeah and lots of these people just straight up hate bisexual women nothing else to it. this used to be the male tears and feminism website what happened. is this the best we can do.

DC Comics No Nuance November
All complaints about "modern Harley Quinn" are things that have been predominant parts of her character the entire time.
Jason killing Joker would fall under self defense, even if Joker were to not be actively attacking him at the time.
Batman doesn't even think as highly of his abilities as Batman dudebros do.
Catwoman should have pride variant covers and even pride stories. The fact that bi women in love with men are seen as less queer is probably why she doesn't.
Knight Terrors Robin was really good.
Tim pulling Bruce off Jason in Batman 137 was in character. The idea Tim should've been okay with Bruce treating Jason badly because Jason's not been the perfect trauma survivor is rooted in abuse culture.
Tom Taylor is the human embodiment of performative "ally."
The stigma around fandom content is rooted I classism, misogyny, and queerphobia.

idk i think "let women date men" makes sense within the context of how bisexual women are constantly rejected and ostracized from wlw communities for daring to date men. bc they are bisexual. like in the grand scheme of things theres no systemic problem there but i think interpersonally we can all agree its a bit of a dick move and also kind of hypocritical for the "just let consenting adults date however they want" community to say "not like that though lol"

I've said it a thousand times over and I'll say it again: the idea that bisexual women do not suffer from the homophobia of their straight male partners is a product of larger biphobic beliefs that bisexuals can magically "turn off" their queerness to assimilate into heteronormative society and that we are invaders to queer spaces that do not truly know what it's like to be queer. This specific treatment of bi women in particular is also an extension of victim blaming attitudes towards women in abusive relationships and the incredibly reductionist idea that we are at fault for the abuse we face because we could just leave them; despite the fact that it has been proven over and over again that leaving can be dangerous and outright deadly if someone does not have the resources or support needed to leave, which they frequently do not because abusers often socially and financially isolate their victims.

Additions are fine but if you're going to be an asshole in my notes I'm blocking you. Act accordingly.

you can tell when you hear people talk about bisexual women that they don't care about the desires that they have for other genders that aren't men. bisexual women have to focus their lives around men. if you're a woman, they'll leave you for a man. they can't fathom not having a man in their life at some point. blatant misogyny, and often from people who claim that they're not capable of being misogynistic.
a bisexual woman could love and date only women her whole life and marry a woman and her legitimacy in the gay community would still be brought into question because she is also attracted to men. but on the opposite side of the equation, she would be devalued as degenerate by the straight population for her desires. never is the autonomy of the bisexual woman brought up, nor her own feelings, she must always fall to the whims of what people say. married to her wife for thirty years, her attraction would still burden her with everyone waiting for the day she'll leave for a man.
bisexual women must all have a pathetic boyfriend waiting for them at home after they leave the presence of a lesbian group of friends, surely. they're tainting the presence of the group with the idea, anyway. and if she's only ever had her one girlfriend since college, well, isn't she just a lesbian, then? otherwise, of course, eventually, she'll abandon the girlfriend for a man.
because bisexual women aren't allowed to fall in love and have a long-term partner. bisexual women are attracted only to the gender of their partner (and of course, you know, men are on top of the stack). if she finds herself attacked in the streets for being with her girlfriend, she can find solace in a man, of course. what do you mean that woman is the love of her life and she can't see anyone else besides her? don't you know bisexual women can replace anyone, everyone, with a man, at any time?
if it's too hard to be with women, she can of course go back to being straight. that's all it takes, right? nothing to it. because the love she has for her partner, or whatever personality her partner has is irrelevant. and how they treat her simply doesn't matter. (bisexual women aren't allowed to complain when a man beats them because they chose that life, of course.) bisexual women don't date for love! they can uproot, unfeeling, from any circumstance, and change it immediately simply on the basis that they have the ability to be attracted to any gender.
violence against bisexual women is always deserved, and always delivered by the man she chose. never by another woman, because that's impossible, and don't look into why bisexual women are assaulted by domestic partners more than both lesbians and straight women, with straight women below lesbians. we can't imply that women who are in relationships with other women would ever hurt them in any way!
bisexual women are banes for daring to step outside of the sexual orientation binary. they're out of line. unable to be tamed by straight men and lesbians alike. so they should keep quiet and don't discuss how any of this affects them, by the way, because it's irrelevant and anyway it's not that bad because they can always find solace in reintegrating with straight society with some random man they spot on the street. their feelings will never matter.
huh. weird how bisexual women have the highest risk of attempting suicide.

I really have to wonder where to fuck Bumbleby antis get the idea that it's okay to be cruel to Bumbleby shippers for shipping the Bees.Like,so often you see them saying 'The wasps are toxic uwU' but i've been actively in the Rwby fandom since shortly after Volume 4 finished and the amount of Bees shippers i've met that actually ARE toxic is literally microscopic compared to the nice ones.I always see them just vibing and making cute wholesome things and funny memes and smut with healthy dynamics of Blake and Yang and when they DO act mean,99% of the time it's because their feelings are hurt because YOU GUYS bullied them and they're venting and defending thenselves so i truly have to wonder how many of the 'proofs' you guys have that they're bad were taken out of context to make them look unresonable. Not to mention they're constantly defending the other minority characters,NOT 'only caring about gays' or whatever, like Oscar from antiblack weirdos who hate him for being an afrolatino boy who the fem mc is in love with as if she's not canonically wasian and poc irl usually seek out to date other ones and May from transmisogynists who hate and even Kdin herself for existing. And even if Bumbleby WAS forced and rushed(it's not),literally why do y'all give a shit if people like it anyway. Are they personally attacking you by daring to like something that's not the eptimome of good writing? No,they just have a different opinion than you and thinking that gives you the right to be ruthlessly mean to them is deadass school bully behavior.Y'all should embarrased-Log off and go talk to others like a person for once

The whole ‘you’ve never kissed a girl so how do you know you’re bi” is misogyny bc like. Have you seen girls? Beautiful. Even just talking to one is enough to know you like girls. If you think sapphics need to have experience with a girl in order to know they’re sapphic, then that’s viewing women as trivial. Girls will literally just be friends with boys and hug boys and ppl will be like “ooooo you definitely like him, all girls should like men only” but when a girl says “I had a crush on this girl I was friends with, nothing happened between us but I sure fancied her” and those same ppl will be like “ok but you didn’t bag her or get her in your bed so you’re clearly just straight!” Stop thinking that girls are a prize to be won, and that sapphic attraction must have be tested and “proven” in order to be believed!

[Image: Two drawings on top of one another. The upper one shows two light-skinned hands holding a white pill bottle with the text “Hard to swallow pills”. The bottom one shows an open palm holding three round pills, while the other one is pointing a finer at them. Text: “Sometimes women leave other women for men without it being a result of comphet, centering men, or buying into heteropatriarchy. You can heal from that pain without being biphobic.”]

online queer communities are so grossly bimisic and i'm tired of pretending that they're not.
they blame bi people for transmisia when the majority of trans people are bi. they harass us for using terms that we've always been allowed to use. they call us things like halfbians and bihets and then get mad when we reclaim those terms. they blame bi people for men harassing lesbians and trans people instead of.. you know.. the men themselves. they defend lesbian separatism and spew bullshit about how bi lesbians were actually supported by terfs and that we should be grateful that lesbian separatism let bi people have their own communities. they NEVER acknowledge the fact that terfs want to drop the B as well as the T. they're so fucking weird about bi women who date men and bi men who date women, especially the former because they are misogynistic as fuck. they expect bi people to be doormats for mono lesbians and gays, they expect us to be the perfect allies who never defend ourselves when they spread bullshit about our history, but they've never supported us for a day in their life.
we could give y'all a whole fruit platter and you'd get mad at us for co-opting the word "fruity."

the hipocrisy of bimosgynistic lesbians truly is something so appalling. "bisexual women simply cant decenter men" is just the progressive talk way of saying "bisexual women just are too filled with the lust for men to have any standards or think for themselves" which is, funnily enough, exactly what cishet men think of bi women too. isn't that wild?
not wanting men romantically or sexually doesnt mean you automatically decenter them. there is no such thing as a feminist gene some women are born with, and some women are just not. that is some kind of essentialist nonsense that ignores the journey so many lesbians go through to even realize they dont like men. it helps literally nobody.
and the worst part is any time this internalized misogyny is pointed out, it's immediately rebuffed with cries of "lesbophobia." and what can i say other than how fucking dare you imply that misogyny is in any way or form inherent to lesbianism.
liberation cannot be reached by throwing certain women under the bus and saying "look, men! there's the woman you should be targeting, not me!" that is simply. not. how it works.

[Image: Two tweets by me (@ShiriEisner).
The first reads: “ The first time I came out as bi was in 9th grade. It immediately became "known" that I was a "slut". I was constantly harassed. The boys in my class tried to get me to have sex with them every single day. I was a virgin. This is an example of how coming out can put you in danger. “
The second reads: “ It's also a glaring example of bimisogyny and how deeply it's embedded in rape culture.”]
