If Anathema stays in touch with our ineffables after the big avocado that failed to become unholy guacamole, headcanon that they randomly miracle gears onto and off of her bicycle/velocipede as a running joke.

Dean Winchester is no stranger to the intensity of elite cycling. He's been working as a medic for one of the biggest races in the world for years. So when he suddenly finds himself infatuated with a blue-eyed rider, he's not sure what to do with his feelings--especially since his feelings are behaving in ways he's not accustomed to.
I honestly wasn’t sure that a fic about elite cycling would be of any interest to me, but my love of demisexual!dean will always override most of my reservations. This bet paid off. Did you know that for long-distance cycling, the medics stay in their cars to treat the riders? I did not. And that’s the first scene of this fic, Dean hanging out of a car to help cyclist!Cas with an injury on his thigh. What follows is a sweet fic about Dean and Cas realizing their interest in each other over their various run-ins due to this race Cas is in.
It’s an interesting topic that you won’t need much knowledge of to enjoy, and Dean and Cas’s chemistry jumps off the screen in that *chef’s kiss* kind of way we’re always looking for in fic. And like I said before, I’m always looking for any and all ace rep in fics so I’m happy to bring you this gem if that’s something you’re interested in reading. I promise you’ll enjoy this one no matter your preference.
Ok thank you. Anyway this was a public service annoucement that the writers are legitimately both laughing in our faces and doing the Jake Peralta auto-unfurling-banner announcement accompanied with mariachi band
"This story recounts my fırst time racing the Tour Divide, my fırst ultra-cycling race, from a neo-bikepacker point of view, a roadie, willing to give everything she has to reach the border fırst. Full heart, fullgas. This is my story."
Can we talk about song choice for the bike cause yes obviously bucks on bike, but one of songs that alot people see as about being bi
we can so talk about the song choice - its one of my favourite Queen songs and I secretly hoped they'd use it for the scene as soon as we knew Buck was on a bike - but I thought i was being to far fetched in my hope - but the show went there and it was glorious!
The song is very much about being free and being able to explore your sexuality and live life how you choose - and yes it is very much a bisexual anthem - something the music department and writers (and the director with his Freddie Mercury style tashe) would be aware of, this show is very deliberate in its choices, so the fact they used this song speaks volumes - and the fandom reaction on tumblr and elsewhere during the episode bears testament to that!!!

"Jazz"
👉 Queen's seventh studio album was the first to be recorded outside of the UK. Sessions for Jazz began at Mountain Studios in Switzerland, in July 1978, and later moved to Super Bear studios in Nice, France, concluding in October. Producer Roy Thomas Baker had been absent on the previous two LPs, but for this project the team was reunited - though it would prove to be the last Queen/Baker production. Geoff Workman and John Etchells were the engineers.
