Hi hi hiiiiii 😇 okay yes I totally vanished but also blame the creators of Stranger Things and whatever crack they put in that show to make it so damn addictive 💀 honestly my whole weekend has consisted of work and Netflix at this point I don’t even know what sleep is. I think I’ve accepted that if I want to keep up with bookstagram this first week back at work, I might be posting and replying to messages at some odd UK times 😂 let’s be honest, I’m not much of a sleeper anyway so at least I’m finally embracing my odd internal clock... • How as everyone’s week been going?! I’ve been taking a break from my phone where possible as I’ve been having random bursts of anxiety when I see my notifications 💀 today was the first time in a while where I didn’t touch my phone for most of the day which was strangely liberating! ☀️ I GOT A TEXT ☀️ For all my Love Island stans, no I don’t have a hot date on a beach in Spain, but, arguably even better, I’ve finally gotten the go ahead to book a vaccine appointment!! I’m so excited to finally have some peace of mind and to feel like I can more confidently enjoy the easing of our lockdown 😍 I have to say, I’m a little nervous - I’ve never NOT had a panic attack when getting a jab 💀 - but I’m lucky to have the opportunity and will be getting it done asap!! Has anyone else had the vaccine? Do you have any advice or encouragement?! Anything to calm my anxiety would be much appreciated 🙊 ☀️☀️☀️ In other news, today is apparently the last day of our mini-heatwave (hopefully it’ll start up again later next week!), so of course I had to take advantage of it and get some summer shots!! I used my @illumicrate copy of A Dark and Hollow Star by @paper.ashley and I seriously can’t wait to give this one a read!! @anaisthebibliophile’s recent post and love of the characters really got me hyped up to read it - and I know my girls never wrong - so it’s definitely near the top of my list!!! ☀️☀️☀️ QOTD: Have you read any LGBTQ books for #pridemonth this month?
