More about our co-authored fantasy and sci-fi fusing novel! Here’s reasons why we love it: Written from six points of view, it is a story that is a testament to the powers of friendship. For fans of video games where lost technologies are found, like Horizon Zero Dawn and Mass Effect, and epic fantasy books with multiple POVs, like Malazan Book of the Fallen and The Stormlight Archive. Heroes that are older than teenagers, nature magic, societal prejudices, and lost histories like The Surviving Sky. Other elements we think you’ll like:
LGBTQ+ main characters
Animal companions
Enemies to lovers subplot
Musical magic
Epic journey
Good dog

I think the most frustrating thing is that even when you do e v e r y t h i n g right, you can still fail. My collection of horror stories, Nightmare Fuel, comes out in 2 weeks. My next novel, A Call of the Sidhe, comes out on November 18th. I've shared, I've posted about it EVERYWHERE, I've actually paid for ads, and yet, I'm still still stuck at 3 and 1 preordered copies, respectively.
And I'm pretty confident that it's not because they're bad, they're just not reaching the right people. Nightmare Fuel is a collection of horror stories featuring predominately queer, poc, and qpoc characters, while A Call of the Sidhe is a queer fantasy/romance about the Fae. So, if you could share this, I'd be ever so grateful. Pre-Order Nightmare Fuel here
Pre-Order A Call of the Sidhe here

Descent of Ravens (Book I of Bel’s War)
The old covenant of the gods is broken. Will the world break, too? When an army of vampires invades the island of Trosika, Rio and Turi must fight for their future. Rio is a healer and a priest of Astara who suffers severe self-doubt and a growing crisis of faith; even his goddess cannot stop the forces arrayed against them. Turi has long buried a secret about himself that he fears could upend everything.
When Rio unseals a centuries-old tomb, releasing the night-cursed prince Philip, he discovers that he has a bond with Philip that stretches across lifetimes. As Turi grapples with his secrets, he is recruited by the terrifying goddess Mormo and gifted with necromancy for reasons he does not understand.
Rio and Turi must contend with bloodthirsty mages, battle an endless army of vampires, and confront the truth of who Turi truly is; most of all, they must rely on their unshakable friendship to survive. As they struggle to protect each other, their religion, and their island home, the fate of an empire hangs in the balance.

Will of Dragons (Book II of Bel’s War)
About Book II:
Evil hides beneath armor of gleaming white.
The new civil war has cracked the empire apart as Turi and Rio race to gather allies against Clan Ishima’s brutality. The enemy is ten steps ahead, and Turi is pushed to his limit to stop the evil a corrupted paladin order has unleashed.
Demari, finally fulfilling a lifelong dream at sea with his brother, finds himself recruited into the designs of a goddess and soul-bound to a man he barely knows. In the fight for supremacy in the empire’s waters, Demari’s newfound power and connection will alter the course of the war and change his life forever.
Meanwhile, back on Trosika the new empress, Sarina Marias, faces betrayal, ancient magic, and intrigue as Ishima agents make their next move to control the island. When fate brings her face to face with the God of War, can she match her will to his?

I have to admit, this one has not a lot on "The Priory of the Orange Tree" Though when it is comes to LGBT, this one was way better. And PS: I do believe Fýredel is more of the main character than Nameless One, dude is on the cover of both books. He has also been able awaken when the nameless one couldn't. Oh whatever. I like him though.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: The action really does portray this book as a prequel which also made me realise a lot of time had passed before book 1's timeline. In Book 1, it is Sabran the Ninth. In this book, it is the Fifth, Sixth and Seventh, Glorian's daughter. Like every fantasy book with dragons, there is bound to be fire and roasted bodies. And there was loads of action with those fire-breathing wyrms. I was saddened to love it all but those scenes are like candy when reading books about dragons.
𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗥𝗬 𝗛𝗢𝗟𝗗: I do believe the South won this time. In Priory, it was the West. Mainly because this is where the 𝐬𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐜 story was. And I am all about the sapphic life, so yes.
𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵: 𝗧𝘂𝗻𝘂𝘃𝗮: 50 year old ray of sunshine that was also a badass warrior who loved wholeheartedly. She was a deep character. Her wife, Esbar was also definitely something to behold. The way Tuva and Esbar loved each other and their children, it was awesome. Tuva's son, Wulf finally realising that Thrit loved him. Wulf was bisexual and I think Thrit was gay. Though Wulf and Thrit were in the north. Canthe, that bitch that almost ruined a love blessed by The Mother.
𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁: 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻: The West did have a tight story because at some point there were 3 generations of Berethnet and that very intriguing. Though I do believe Glorian was overrated. Her relationship with her parents was interesting though. Her mom was a total ice queen and her father was such a sunshine overdose but with killer instincts. It was rather adorable how he (King Bardholt) devotedly loved Sabran VI the Ambitious. These even had nicknames for one another despite the toxic environment they were in. I have a feeling Glorian was 𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙭𝙪𝙖𝙡 but that scene when she spied on her parents that was just nasty. A little heartbreaking in the beginning but nasty in the end. Like girl, what the fuck?
𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁: 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗶: She was 𝐬𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐜. I definitely didn't like her woman but I liked that she was sapphic. Though, this side was slight the down-side of the book. Yes, it did have some intriguing parts with the non-fire breathing dragons and I think that dragon (Nayimathun) from Priory was also here as well (That old bastard). I feel like the name was familiar.. The east wasn't so popular with me even in Priory.
𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿'𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲: I really enjoyed this book. A lot of scenes had me screaming and cursing but all in all, it was a joyful ride. I can't wait for more, if there will be.

K’s first solo novella releases later this year. TAVERN TALE. A little bit cozy, a little bit side quest, a whole bunch RPG inspired. The publisher does crowd funding - check out their past two successful years. A bit about how Space Wizard funds their projects. And a placeholder for when the kickstarter launches. Consider supporting this indie publisher and their authors.
