Am I the last person on earth to realize I have loved you and you haven't known it might mean that Ty not just did know what Kit meant with I love you, Ty, I love you but that he also regrets not saying it back? That maybe if he had, Kit wouldn't have left. That maybe, on top of the guilt he feels for the ritual, he's also carrying the guilt of not saying it back? Because maybe, just maybe, if he hadn't been so shocked by [everything that was going on at that moment] he could've stopped Kit from leaving. Maybe if he could've said it at the time, Kit would've stayed. That he thinks he lost Kit because of it. That part of his self imposed penance is related to that.

ohk so let's all imagine this.

Thomas loves languages. So i assume he loves travelling too, because then, he gets to explore new languages. Alastair speaks Persian, and tbh Persian was spoken in many South Asian countries as that time (zorashtrians, etc)

Imagine Alastair and Thomas going around south asia and living it up. Thomas knows hindustani (modern day hindi) and urdu. He knows Nepali and Bengali. They travel across modern day India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan etc while having the time of their lives. They portal in and out of institutes, and bring in souvenirs for their beautiful cirenworth house.

Alastair barters with the rich Persian merchants and gets rich. We all know that Alastair is going to be an amazing politician, so by virtue he's an amazing speaker. Everyone loves him. And they love Thomas too, because even tho he's a white man, he's keen to learn their culture.

They both drink tea in the Mysore, and Hyderabadi palaces with the kings/nawabs. The nawabs gift them beautiful weaponry and paintings.

They take long walks in the palace lawns while men and women admire them through the eyes of ancient Bengali poetry.

They go hunting through the huge jungles. They train with the army and teach the new soldiers how to use weapons.

They wear kurtas with beautiful gold embroidery on it.

At night they sit on the rooftop of the Mysore palace. They look at the city below them with its candle-lit pathways, and the sky above them. They count their blessings along with the stars.

Now this is such a comfort headcannon for me.

I know that CC said the family tree wasn’t 100% accurate, but feel like she said that because she regretted publishing it as it would ruin the spinoff series as we knew who’d marry who. But breaking with it entirely so that Christopher and Grace don’t become Alec, Isabelle and Max’s ancestors was a bit ridiculous and frankly disappointing???

My dear fellow fighters in hard life of being TSC reader,

I have to say - we really are brave, waiting so much for twp... Who could do that?

In 4 hours (in my country), 2022 will end, it really was one of shortest years in my life and some way also the longest

I joined tumblr in May (?) I think, the time since then really sipped like the bottle of wine...

And it was the first time like ever I felt accepted, like I had people who share same interests as me, I felt understood and I'm so thankful for that, because I finally wasn't weirdo for having different ways of thinking

I found my people

I lost this year my two "best friends" (don't worry, they are pretty much fine, they just tend to ghost me for a month than both of them write me in same day saying how much they miss me)... Lmao, you're first people that I'm not ashamed to admit this... Because irl I really was, it hurt to not be good enough

But with this loss I gained a lot, I needed this to find myself, to not be the person they liked, but the person I am now

I don't need them. I never did. I just feared to be alone... But who cares.

Rather be alone than to act for other's sake

So thank you, for understanding me!

Love you, my fellow readers, we might never meet but we'll cry because of Chain of Thorns together - in month so...

Well hello 

Hi guys, so if you acc pay attention to this account (which if you do, thank you considering that this is absolutely random), you would know that I try to make my almost ‘thought/reaction’ post to SOBH, which is ending today. I’m very depressed because i loved Monday’s and now I have nothing to fill up my shadowhunter obsession until Chain of Thorns (and then after that I’ll potentially die inside, I say that as if that hasn’t already happened). Soooo, here’s my final thoughts on the last post and series in general:

So, Jaime is in trouble, wtf Cassie, why would you leave us on such a cliffhanger??? And now Kit is depressed, and we are defo not getting his full POV. And dru is probably dying inside, AND JAIME IS STUCK IN FAERIE WTF.

physical copies might be out, which helps.

This defo sets up TWP but if TWP is around a year after this, what WILL happen between then? Will Kit be using his faerie heritage to help? Will the Rosales be making a huge appearance? Does Kieran help with this? Is Ty gonna be on a Cohort mission trying to save Jaime?? Is that how he’s interlinked??? So many questions and yet we will have no close answers. Cassie wants to kill us, we can tell already.

How will Jaime get out? How did he get stuck? What was even the mission? What about Dru? How will she fit into this (other than being someone Jaime cares about and vice versa)? Will Jaime come back but he’ll be the same age?? Is this gonna set up a Jaime-Dru-Ash love triangle like a few people have said? Oh god, help.

these posts were a huge ride, but it was also very fun and entertaining to read, even though there were many times where my heart stopped due to cliffhangers. I’ll miss them, and I just know TWP will be my fav series.

It's pretty sick and unfair that the rating is rigged to make Will win. ☹️ It would be so much fairer to make a list of all characters and then you can pick your favorite or the top 3 and then count all the votes for each character. Only then can you really say who the favorite is. I'm really disapointed. But i never expected something diffrent from @simonteen. Still a pity.

The plus sides to Cassie taking a break next year:

Cassie gets a break!! She deserves it, she has given us the ABSOLUTE maximum.

She would be rejuvenated while editing/ writing the wicked powers. (I think she already has started writing it, she said that her publishers want to publish it but respect her enough to wait for her)

We get to be older fans, with much better understanding of relationships and people with more life experience.

I get to be happily waiting in anticipation, rather than crying

We have 20 other TSC books we can always reread along with SOBH which we can always come back to

We can all read magisterium (guys...hear me out... It's the series of my childhood i dont want to hear any criticism.) And sword catcher.

We can all give fanfic writers our love
