The evening had been peaceful all in all. Namjoon had only recently gotten back from tour, and the boys had been given a chance to take some time off before moving on with yet another new project. You were giddy at the moments you were getting to share with your fiance, having not seen him for more than a night every now and then while he was away. And even then you still spent most of the night at his shows, and with the other boys.

This was different, however. This was just the two of you, sat at opposite ends of your couch with your legs intertwined in the middle, each of you reading your respective books and sipping at your glasses of wine. It was heavenly, just hearing his quiet breaths, and the little hums he let out when he’d read a particularly moving line. Sometimes, in the moments where you were the luckiest, he’d read you a passage, and you’d listen to him talk about just why it was so moving. You liked hearing the thoughts that went on his mind. And, when you ran across nice lines in your own book, you’d nudge your toes against his thigh and read it aloud, waiting for him to think them over and give you what was always a riveting response.

There was quiet music playing from the record player in the corner, an anniversary gift from Taehyung. He said he’d found it and thought it would suit you and Namjoon’s relationship perfectly; simple, beautiful, classic. You had never been the record type before, but now you loved it.

A jazz singer crooned from the record that Namjoon had put on for the two of you, the lights dimmed just low enough to allow you to read without ruining the mood. You hummed along to the song quietly as you flipped the page. You looked up when Namjoon moved, untangling his legs from yours and marking his spot with the bookmark you’d bought him for his birthday. You gave him a questioning smile as he took your glass from you, setting it on the little stand that sat at the end of the couch. He took your hand in his instead, guiding you to your feet. You laughed as he pulled you close.

For someone so clumsy, he had a way of finding his grace when it was set to music. His large palm rested on your waist, the other holding your own as he drew you into a close embrace, swaying you to the sound of the song filling your living room.

You watched his eyes crinkle with a grin, his dimples marking his cheeks. The two of you swayed, and you nuzzled your nose against his jaw, inhaling the warm scent of him, spicy and dark. You could hear the sound of his humming as it rumbled through his chest, and your fingers found the hair at the nape of his neck. You played with it there, pulling your head back far enough to meet his eye.

He looked beautiful in this light, though you thought he looked beautiful in any light. You were the luckiest person on the face of the earth, you’d believe that until the day you died. Namjoon nudged at your waist, and you spun to the song, your head tipped back in a giggle. And you didn’t know it, but at that moment Namjoon was thinking the very same thing you had been thinking.

This was oh so reminiscent of the moment he knew he’d fallen in love with you. That evening you’d spent together, after visiting one of his favorite museums in the area, and you’d convinced him to get ice cream and sit at the fountain with you. He’d watched as you sat at the end of it, watching the water cascade into its pool with a smile on your face. He’d asked what you’d thought of the date, and you’d giggled. You’d told him that it was nice, that you didn’t care much for museums, but it was worth it to see him so entirely in his element. Then you’d cracked a joke about how he belonged in those exhibits he loved, filled with works of art and priceless artifacts just like him. And you’d laughed, with your head thrown back and your eyes shut just like you were laughing now.

You looked back up to him as he tugged your hand to pull you back into his chest. You collided with him, nearly sending both of you stumbling backward. His arm wrapped around you, and you pressed yourself close to him. He rested his chin on your head, and you listened to his heartbeat instead of the music, hearing the way it picked up when your fingers traced the line of his shoulder.

Namjoon let go of your hand, bringing his hand to caress your cheek, then tucking his finger under your chin and guiding your lips to his for a sweet kiss. You could taste the wine on his lips, and the lingering sweetness from the dessert you’d shared after dinner. The kiss was sweet and innocent, lasting only a moment as the song slowed to an end.

“I love you,” He said finally. You smiled brighter than before.

“I love you more.” You insisted. He just chuckled, keeping his arms wrapped around you and walking you backwards back to your spot on the couch where he let you sit down, taking his own place back and picking up his book. The music continued, and you both settled back down into the seats you’d been in before.

You looked at him, your lips curled into an affectionate smile as he flipped the page in his book. You’d gotten so lucky, and you were grateful for the downtime you got to spend with him. After all, he was busy every minute of every day, but he shared his moments with you in between the minutes.

Taylor Swift Facts turns 10!

My fellow Swifties,

Today is the 10-year anniversary of the date I posted the very first SwiftFact. I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has been by my side for this amazing journey. This blog has never been just a blog for me - it's been a source of connection, of fun, of support, of appreciation for Taylor and her music.

I began TSF when I was 13, using my home computer. My family had gone through some financial difficulties and, at the time, I didn't even have internet access. I would bring my little USB to the library, save my facts on a Word document, and save the corresponding pictures. I'd go home and make my little posts. I really had no concept of graphic design at the time, so my older posts are honestly quite ugly, but hey. I just wanted to share the information!

I think this blog actually helped me figure out I wanted to be a journalist. I often tell people that I got my degree in journalism because I love learning about things and sharing them with others. That's what I've done here for a decade! Getting the right quotes, deciding which information is most important, even using the inverted pyramid of journalism. I honed a lot of those skills here.

Not to mention, the community that has been here for me. I won't belabor you with my life story, but I used to be quite open about my family struggles on here, and the outpouring of support was always so touching. Some of you even donated money when my family was in need, which is so beautiful and something we all still talk about from time to time. And when my mom passed away, I wasn't posting as frequently, but you all showed me so much love and support anyways. Even though I wasn't giving you much, you gave me everything.

I exchanged Christmas cards for a couple years with tons of you, which made me feel infinitely less lonely. I stopped due to some mental health struggles, but I still have all of your cards, and I see that as a highlight of not only this blog, but of my life. There has been so much real human connection fostered with this little fan blog I created on a whim. I am so grateful.

The craziest thing that has come out of this blog - barring Taylor's follow and even a couple of likes - is the fact that VividSeats gave me tickets to the 1989 tour in 2015. That is one of the top 10 experiences of my life, and I believe it always will be. I can't even express how much that means to me. And maybe I still put the review I wrote for their site on my resume. ;)

All of this is to say, this blog has been an integral part of my growing and changing. Some of my past personal posts on here make me cringe. Some of the facts I would not publish today as the fandom culture has shifted significantly. I learned and grew with this blog. Despite some of the controversy - I feel some people have never liked my blog - the love has kept me going. I am so grateful for every ounce of support anyone here has ever given me.

I apologize for posting sporadically the last few years. Life happens, and I have significantly different priorities than I did in 2012 - I assume we all do - but the reason I've kept posting at all is because I enjoy it. You make it enjoyable. That being said, I'll try my best to get some posts out just in celebration of Midnights and the whirlwind of Taylor content we've gotten the last few years. Even though social media moves so quickly these days, and the format of my blog isn't quite conducive to that anymore, I hope we can all enjoy it. Like the good old days. :)

Even writing all of this, I feel like I can't even begin to express how special this journey has been. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, to everyone who has ever supported me in any way.

getting started

this is what your empty workspace will look like:

blocks are the main functions of notion and are what make up the whole app. by using blocks, you can create text, headers, databases, quotes, maps, tables etc. here is a list of the blocks currently available in notion:

notion pages

pages are notions files or a collection of blocks listed above. as you write, you can edit, highlight, and create databases in your page. you will also you notice you can insert a new block by typing "/" command.

notion databases

database play a vital role in notion to help you manage and organize your pages. in simple terms, it monitors all the pages created by you and databases are actually pages themselves. each page in a database can be opened and viewed seperately. to help you further, you can contextualize, label and agument each individual item. you can also directly search the page you're looking for. database views also display the same content in different ways, whatever your preferences are

notion sidebar

the side bar is basically the navigation bar for all your pages. a nest that stores a page into a page without any limits, which can be rearranged by dragging and dropping. the sidebar contains several features and menu options that can be arranged and rearranged according to your needs.

notion sharing

notion is a big believer in sharing and collaborating in order to enhance user experience and give a clearer picture through feedback from friends, collegues, family and coworkers. notions permissions levels ensure that your guest viewer can have access to your content but only to what you allow. there are many ways in which you can share your database and pages with your folks in and out of workspaces.

Next Album's Color Palette

In my [ first post ], I explained why the next era is most likely to be monochromatic, with hints of blue. Since I’ve explained this already, I’ll give a little TLDR;

SAI’s color scheme has slowly gone desaturated, between the Livestream and The Outside’s MV + the Icy Tour. Pink and yellow have turned to black and white. Blue is seen as the color of defeat, and the only color to remain out of the initial SAI palette has been that blue. The last MV we got ended with Dema engulfed in the neon’s blue fire.

However, since then, many hints for a violet-themed era have been dropped.

It’s fairly obvious that Ned is going to have a critical role from here on out. With the Ned’s Bayou plush drop came several new pieces of clothing. A majority of them were violet, with the phrasing ‘ Ned Will Show Us The Way ‘.

For the Black Friday promotion, on Nov. 23, 2022, this header was added to the site.

This proof is very minimal, but I feel it is enough to lean on. Ned was the catalyst for the physical destruction of Dema, and his antlers will continue to be used as a possible means of attack. The finale nearly solely relies on Ned and his antlers.

Also, the purple butterfly that Tyler wore.

Butterflies are strong symbolism for rebirth and change.

During RAB/Vessel, Tyler and Clancy seemed to be small and meek, mindlessly bowing to Dema's will. Both grew enough to distance themselves from their original obedience and will rebuild Dema into something new. A larva will undergo metamorphesis, and morph into a butterfly.

It is possible that violet symbolizes victory, which would explain why it's never been relevant.

NOTE - Pet Cheetah’s audio AND VR video have an unattended purple and orange themed background. It was completely out of place for Trench. The song and Jason himself were rarely brought up. Albeit being on, arguably, the most important album, it serves almost no purpose.

Other than color, I’ve literally got no way to tie it in. Lack of purpose is most likely because Tyler wrote it after Trench was finished. Not too confident in the connection.

Conclusions, as of Nov. 23, 2022.

I still, somewhat, believe that I was correct back in August. The next album will focus on the destruction and defeat of Dema, will be lyrically straightforward as Trench was, and has been confirmed to be their darkest yet. It will also be a continuation and expansion of Redecorate.

A monochromatic tone with hints of defeat-colored blue would be perfectly in line with this.

Ned’s importance cannot be undermined, though. Color has been revealed through merch before, and the bayou drop can’t necessarily be ignored or chalked up to nothing.

Butterflies, although never mentioned, would also perfectly symbolize both Clancy & Tyler’s growth and change from RAB/Vessel.

[ Tyler's most recent Instagram story ] was lit up in purple.

He confirmed that MTV Unplugged was set to release next year, and that he's " excited about the music that [ he's ] working on. "

Hah! My friend Mel made that, as a joke about my preference for writing, drawing, and reading angst.

As far as that…hmmm…I believe there is a written fic about @spinchip’s Nice Emperor au on AO3 that is lovely, but if I had to pick a favorite it would probably be the Lost Soul set by DietCokeisLife on Fanfiction.net.

Anything more than those two I’d have to go on a rereading tour!

6. Episode of tv or webisode that defined the year for you?

That's actually a tough question when I think about it too hard. I’m going to base my choices on the moments in those episodes that had the biggest meaning to me.

So of course Titans 4x10 “Game Over” has to end up here for the “Your weapon is your love for this child” line alone. I am *still* scrubbing pieces of myself off the floor, that's what this moment did to me. The closest thing to a love confession.

And speaking of those — Agents of SHIELD season 5 finale which actually gave me a father-daughter love confession and to this day I can't actually believe this moment exists??? @skoulsons will confirm, I was losing my goddamn mind live in her DMs, like IS THIS FOR REAL?!?!?! DID HE--??? AND SHE--??? DID THEY REALLY JUST SAY THAT????? Oh I was unwell

And of course, The Last of Us, episode 8. I’ve had no idea about the plot of the game and I was trying to avoid game spoilers but I did know something heavy happens in this episode, I just didn't know the full context. Everyone was so excited about this hug that was supposed to happen in this part of the story because it's in the game and it's like the most important moment. And boy, what an experience this was. I wasn't breathing. When that hug happened, tears rolled down my face and I was ugly sobbing. I will never forget the absolute chills I’ve had watching this moment.

7. Favorite actor of the year?

You can't force me to pick between Brenton Thwaites and Pedro Pascal. That's impossible. I can't and won't tear my heart in two.

11. Something you want to do again next year?

Go stay with my sister, who lives in Germany. I’ve spent three weeks with her, end of October - beginning of November and it was the most calming, healing, relaxing experience. A retreat for my mental and physical state that was really needed and I definitely want to do it again. Also, experience another concert, which will happen — Taylor Swift, The Eras Tour, Warsaw August 2nd. Another bucket list moment.

And awww thank you, I am actually obsessed with this Christmas theme 🖤💙💜💚 I've had this planned ever since I noticed my birds are the first ones to clink their mugs together and when I giffed it, I knew I had to make it a header

Eli dating a professional footballer headcanon pt. 2 — Winning the UWCL

requested by the lovely @qqueenmars — sorry it took me so long to get to it 🫣🫣 hope you enjoy it xx

— when your team won the second game of the ucl semi finals you cried

— not on the pitch but later when you were in the changing room and it all had set in

— you were going to play the Champions League final in Turin and you would try your damn best to win it

— you face timed Eli when you were back at the hotel around one in the morning

— he was on tour in Sweden or Denmark you didn’t quite remember where but it didn’t really matter

— there was a lot of yelling and cheers when he answered the call

— Rob and Josh were chanting your name over and over again, Ryan and Louis whistling and clapping along

— and your boyfriend was smiling the biggest smile ever

— you only talked briefly; you were tired he was tried but you promised to talk to him the next day

— the next twenty days flew by fast and before you knew it was the night before the final and you couldn’t sleep

— Eli was sleeping peacefully next to you but you just couldn’t

— so you grabbed your phone and headphones and sat down in the bathroom leaning against the cool bathtub

— an hour later Eli joined you on the floor

— “everything okay love?”

— “can’t sleep ‘m too nervous”

— “you’re gonna be okay y/n, you’ll get on that pitch tomorrow, score a goal or two and then you’ll win the whole thing and i’m gonna be the proudest boyfriend on the planet… but first you need to sleep, so come back to bed with me please and get some sleep!”

— you slept surprisingly well after that pep talk and got up early in the morning for breakfast and the first meeting with the team

— you only saw Eli and the lads (yes they all came out to see you play) briefly right before you would get into the team bus and drive to the stadium

— they all pulled you into bone-crushing hugs, wishing you luck before the game

— you saw them a few hours later while warming up, in the block you had got them tickets for

— they were all wearing jerseys with your name and number on the back, it was kinda cute

— you of course didn’t hear it but they all cheered so loud when you walked onto the pitch

— they got even louder when you got passed the ball by Chrissy your teammate and best friend and ran the last meters towards the goal

— Eli jumped up when you scored and watched in awe as you ran towards your teammates hugging them and screaming in glee

— the game was intense and more importantly tied

— it was the 87th minute and the game was tied at 2:2

— if you could you would lay down on the grass and cry… but since that was not an option you gathered all your remaining energy and passed the ball along

— two minutes of added time

— it all happened so fast

— you were in front of the goal while Chrissy took the corner kick

— the ball came flying, high and fast

— you jumped up… and you scored

— a header

— in the 91st minute you scored a header

— you felt the earth shake and move, the crowd louder than they had been at any other point during the game… and then the referee blew into her whistle and it was done

— you had won, you had actually won

— your team had won the Women’s Champions League and your last-minute goal was the reason

— you blindly pulled your teammates into hugs trying to move towards where Eli and the lads were sitting

— when you reached them they’re all cheering and yelling in excitement leaning down to pull you into hugs

— as best as they could anyway

— when you reached him, Eli pulled you into the biggest hug, pressing a kiss to your lips

— “told you, you could do it! the two goals and all, i’m so fucking proud of you my love!”

— “i love you, thank you for believing in me!”

— you didn’t stop smiling that day

— neither did your boyfriend

— Eli watched in awe as you got handed the big silver trophy, his smile getting even bigger when you put it over your head

— he did get to hold it himself, one hand on the cup, the other around your waist while he was smiling down at you

— he should thank whoever took the picture because that was his new phone background

— when the two of you fell into bed in the early morning hours of the next day you slept considerably better than the night before

— you had won the champions league just like Eli had said you would

I FINISHED NOCTURNE BITCHES!!!!!

Another milestone in being a Megaten fan reached!

Finished this game with True Demon Ending as I planned to do of course

As usual, after finishing the game - more of my thoughts under the cut:

Wow, this game was just... wow. So far I think, this is my favorite SMT game and one of the favorite Megaten games in general. This was an absolute masterpiece of the game, I enjoyed it VERY much even if the game was extremely hard and some parts and drove me to tears at least during a couple fights haha (for example during Trumpeter fight where I literally was sitting with a freaking CALCULATOR to count the damage (and to know when this horror would end) and 4 sticks representings tours lmaoo)

Story and atmosphere wise, I enjoyed this game way more than V so far. This horror-like atmosphere was literally so good and totally different from atmosphere of V where (at least imo) it reminded me more of a some kind of Dark Fairytale, while this game reminded me more of a dreamcore horror (and a little of drugs symulator, cause the aesthetics for some places and characters that Kaneko had was literally crazy at some parts, it's hard to believe that he came with all of that on a sober mind haha). Like I definitely believe that this game is worth playing even just for the weird aesthetics of it (the gameplay is fire tho :P)

As for gameplay, I still believe I prefered more of a V's battle system and gameplay in general but I can excuse that one as III is an 20-years old PS2 game and some battle features that V has didn't appeared earlier than in 2015 when P5 appeared so I can excuse that (still, not having guard feature during some battles was hell ngl but at least I learned the power of good buffs and debuffs more than in V haha)

As for final boss battle - Kagutshuhi turned out to be laughably easy at lvl 95 (my party was physical build Demi Fiend with Gaea Rage, Freikugel, Focus, Tarukaja, Repel Phys and couple more other skills, Raidou, Uber Pixie and Mada), Lucifer was slightly worse (especially when he REALLY got mad at me and used High King and Root of Evil in the same turn, I survived only because I had Endure skill) but I still managed to beat him in first try so I'm proud of myself haha (so glad I'm actually an item hoarder lol). Thank goodness this fight at least had some background music cause if it was at this level and if it was damn silent like in V, it would be twice as scary haha

As for the True Demon Ending itself, I enjoyed it actually. It was really interesting and I found out so many things about SMT lore while doing it so I'm glad I've done that one first. I know that in SMT there is no such a thing as a bad or good ending anyways and each ending have it's pros and cons but tbh I was really curious about Freedom ending as well. Maybe I'll do it in NG+ actually (or perhaps in original PS2 version cause after playing remaster I'm really curious about original and what was changed and THANKFULLY this one is still available in PS3 store 🙏). The protag - Demi Fiend - really stole my heart (is that a P5 reference :o?) - as usual with me playing SMT games so far, as soon as I see the protag I immediately blorbo them (just look at my icon and header haha) - so I'll definitely be coming back to this game, cause it's amazing

So yeah idk if I have more thoughts haha :P If I'll have I'll definitely make some more posts but for now, yeah, that's my endgame thoughts :P Rn I have to think about the ending, maybe then I'll got some more thoughts :P

Now I'll be trying to finish P2:EP and then on a big screen I'll be playing DDS Duology and when I'll finish my "small screen game", I'll be playing P3P on my switch as for a small screen slot :P

The idea that Harry-fucking-Styles would do a press tour talking about his relationship is so detached from any reality, it really shows that they live in a fantasy world. I wonder if Louis will wear his suspenders and red pants to that Oprah Interview. Isnt that another fantasy of theirs?

You both hit hit the nail on the head about how wild it is that Larries complain that these relationships with women that Harry and Louis have had are so obviously for PR, when they also think that when there is a big larrie coming out, there will be book and cover magazine spreads, and instagram photos of the happy family and subsequent babies and sexual/cutesy tweets on special occasions, etc. Even their fantasies about ****** ** involve using the resulting "shocking! exclusive!" stories to promote singles or albums or tours.

Yes, it IS as though for larries, fandom is about the signs and symbols they think they're getting and the relationship they believe larry is sharing with them - and the voyeuristic idea that they get to see bits of the larry relationship that are alternatively "for their larries" and "hidden" - a sort of Schrödinger's consent to view and tell each other stories about how this relationship proceeds.

which is why when they don't get the feedback they want (like Louis blocking an HL UA on twitter), they choose their fellow larries over larry. Or they leave fandom saying things like "if they don't care, why should I?"

or this hysterical header update after a flounce:

Ahh, ty so much I'm honestly in love with it myself! It's all thanks to this amazing psd by @/cal-kestis though - when I got done making a gifset for Poe's birthday I decided to go ahead and make a header with it!

Hearing that about John really surprises me, I was fully prepared for the possibility of him not coming back (and I sure as fuck couldn't blame him if he didn't), but it'd be lovely to see Finn again and see where they'd take his story and give him some love he desperately needs.

As for Poe - I'm gonna add the caveat that I've mildly deluded myself into believing this but - I think there is a pretty good chance of Oscar coming back too. He mentioned last year (right around the time Daisy started talking abt it no less 👀) that he'd be open to coming back if the story and director were enticing enough. And while obviously, duh, I don't know him or anything, but the way he answered that question seemed interesting to me because it didn't seem like he was just being thoughtful when he answered it? Compared to other times he's contemplated returning to other roles or whatever, it seemed a lil...sus

Not to mention - Poe's clearly on his mind. It makes sense for Star Wars to pop up a couple of times during the MK press tour, but I mean. "Make love gently to star wars", his (head)canons about Poe in the bedroom lmao, having him promote the Halcyon, etc etc...

I definitely think there's certainly an open door of him coming back. And it's not just Oscar - Lucasfilm went out of its way just last year to publish a short story all about Rey's friendship with Poe, so clearly it's something they want to keep in the fandom consciousness y'know? They pushed a lot of content for Poe, at least, last year (altho some of them were completely terrible, looking at u hyperspace stories), so I feel pretty confident.

I am so, so excited about the new movie and all it entails but I'm also so, so nervous about it too. I don't want anything bad to happen to Poe, and some Bad Blorbo Experiences in the past makes me extremely prone to worrying about him (*glares at aos*). But for the most part, I'm glad Lucasfilm is going full steam ahead with it even though the trilogy gets unfairly hated on (hypocritically, might I add, from a good portion of the fanbase), and excited to see a story about the new jedi order and a grown up Rey (what's the chances we'll finally get that jedi praxeum on Yavin IV? I can hope and dream.)

I've missed having you around as well, and I hope life's been kind to you too 🥺 mines just been super hectic these past few months but otherwise okay 💜
