Rewatching the Tommy and Buck scene at the end of the episode (oh you know the one, where they kiss!!!) and just .. I am 100% here for Buddie endgame but the way Tommy just went for it and Buck’s smile of oh shit wow that happened and I like that it did .. I am just so happy for Buck.

He deserves to have someone pursuing him, wanting him.

Jack really doesn't know that he can be loved unconditionally, does he? He thinks he has to be something or do something for people in order to be loved. It's all about his dashing good looks and swooping in saving the day.

He knows he's done some good things and he knows he's hot. But he doesn't look any deeper than that because he's also really REALLY fucked up on a grand scale a number of times.

Ianto has seen Jack's dark side and wants to be with him anyway. Not in spite of it. He has seen the good and the bad and he sees a complete person. And he's not afraid to dig deeper.

Jack doesn't understand that that's not conditional and if he did he might actually run for the hills, because what if Ianto realised he was wrong.

Basically they're both really fucked up and broken and somebody should wrap them in a warm blanket and bring them hot chocolate and then lock them in a room together until they've talked about their feelings, okay?
