An American student is in London doing a forensics internship. She's going through the case files of pregnant women killed by domestic violence. Her study is on the life of their children. What happened to them? Did the cycle continue? She spends a LOT of time in the morgue due to the nature of her research. She's hoping to help medical professionals spot abuse sooner for a better treatment plan to stop the violence. She's just come from a lunch (happy hour) with her favorite case and is on her way back to the morgue when her fellows stop her in the hall.
They convince her to take the rest of the night off saying it's been pretty dead, and she's got that BIG thing tomorrow.
She agrees and goes to her office.
In her office there's a purple potted plant with a little tombstone in the dirt. The rim round the pot says, "Here lies Violet. Gone but not forgotten." An unfinished painting of a Nightingale is seen on an easel. She grabs a package wrapped with Congratulations all over the paper and a card saying Jenny. She's about to leave when she hears a conversation.
"Poor girl. She's going to be devastated."
As another person says, "At least it's not going to be today, of ALL days! "
Another voice says, "What are the odds?"
As the voices fade and she hears a door close, she heads out of her office to the morgue.
As she opens the door to go inside, she hears someone yell, "Violet." She walks inside, "NO" You hear Violet’s screams as the door closes behind her.
There is a very large wild Fool Jester hybrid on my porch, I have my sliding glass door closed but it keeps shaking its bells and looking at my two albino mime/circus clown mix..
My bard is hiding in the backroom anxiously singing while my Gaelic poet keeps cursing at it and shaking his quill.
I have no idea what to do, I tried calling clown control and they arrived but they aren't getting out of the car..
I'll edit the post with updates if anything happens
show about a girl who travels back in time to the medieval era and becomes a famous wandering bard. all of her pieces are covers of kpop or something, just on the lute, and she becomes a renowned musician of her time because all her melodies are so damn catchy. there isn’t a villain, but she has a rival, which is just another guy doing the exact same schtick but with taylor swift.
regular D&D game except every time I’m about to roll a d20, I break into a full rendition of “Luck Be A Lady” from the 1950 musical Guys and Dolls, complete with choreography (backup singing from other players optional)
