Established romance with your predator boyfriend headcanons, featuring ✨Scar✨

You hadn't thought you'd find thoughtfulness and affection in a being from another galaxy if you were being honest. While Scar is big and scary looking, you never met anyone gentler than him. It was a sight to see big clawed hands exploring the objects in your house. The way he dragged his fingers over the framed photos and the figures on your shelves, mesmerized with all the alien objects you owned. His favorite quality time activity was to play games, which consisted mostly of him watching you play, as for even the gentlest of giants broke a controller every now and then. Scar has days where he talks and days where he's mostly silent, but overall, he's very expressive with his body language. It, as cliché as it sounded, spoke to you. Yautjas rely more on stances and subtle gestures more than words. But, if it was easy for you to read him, it was the other way around, too. Nothing escaped Scar's sight. He knew if you had slept well or not, if you were in pain or not, and even the intensity or location of said pain, along with if you felt happy or sad or tired. It was nice not having to explain yourself so often. It was nice to have someone who just…understood you. Nothing brings him more joy to spend time with you, whatever way that might be. For him, it's nice to be able to be himself with you, there isn't space for that where he comes from, his life was always fast and riddled with rules and tradition and so many things to consider. It's nice not to worry about being perceived as weak or an idiot. He can be an idiot with you, that's one of the most precious things ever for him. Speaking of precious moments, little things in life can top sleeping beside a heavy and warm yautja in the winter, especially a cuddly one like Scar. Scar has the ability to fall asleep within seconds of hitting the bed, but what makes it special is that he will still search around for you while asleep. If he's not touching you somehow, he doesn't settle down. More than once did you come back to bed after a late night pee break to find him hazily looking around for you, his hand flat on your side of the bed, still warm, but empty. The purring is ridiculous, of course. The way it makes you feel is even more ridiculous. Nefarious. He gets away with everything because of it. It should be stopped. Not by you, though. No, definitely not by you. Not today, either. You think as you squeeze Scar's face between your hands, watching him look at you like you're the slightest bit crazy, but his crazy, nonetheless. He thinks, as he nuzzles into your belly. I was thinking- since yautjas are bigger than humans and in the first movie-ish he like mimicked human laughter do you think they would have deep voices on average? And the females are apparently bIGGER? LIKE BUGS? LIKE HOW FEMALE SPIDERS ARE BIGGER- ?! ANYWAY would the women have like SUPER deep voices? And here is my thought that I posted for in the first place…

Do you think that when they hear humans talking that to them it sounds like we’re just on helium 24/7 like with how we perceive high voices lol

Like what would happen if a human on an alien plant/ship crew breathed in a helium balloon and like some of the shipmates are horrified because “OMG THIS CREATURE IS BREATHING STRAIGHT HELIUM AND NOT DYING?” And the yautja/predator is just like “whAT THE FUCK? HELLO? WHY IS YOUR VOICE HIGHER?

Alright so I’m just wondering how a yautja with a reader who has a big scar-ish like I’ll try my best to set the scene just head cannons by the way

The yautja is coming back from a hunt and they see reader doing something with what his knowledge of humans is called “yoga” (basically the reader was doing yoga)

Then when they walk into the backyard to see them they just see them shirtless since it’s a hot day then they see the reader with this big ass scar

(Or something along the lines you can choose how the yautja finds out about the scar)

And the scar looks like this

When they ask how they got the scar the reader just responds with a cheery tone

Reader:Oh this never mind that o just got struck by lightning

Honestly would just like to see their reaction sorry if this was too long or something anyways have a nice day/night and stay hydrated

They are very surprised to see the splintering scar down your back. It's mesmerizing. They've never seen anything quite like it.

They surprise you out of your yoga pose, having quietly crossed the yard to trace the pinkish raised tissue.

You explain that you survived a lightning strike while hiking in the mountains. Barely.

You'd been is a pretty sorry state when the air lift crew found you. The hospital staff was quick to inform you that the new scar was going to be a very permanent fixture, even with the medicinal lotions they provided.

Your yautja is immediately fascinated. Their species is immune to electrical damage, being able to deal with lightning strikes as easily as a tickle fight.

They cooly admit that they find your scars attractive, it's intricacy rivals some of their acid scars.

Cheekily, the also offer to help you apply lotion whenever you like.

You just roll your eyes and ask if they'd like to join you.

Experimented on yautja and the subspecies that it created

Alright let’s get down to business. An AU that my friends and I regularly play with, It’s pretty fucking Hectic. I modeled it after Avatar, where humans come to the native planet, and fuck everything up. So here’s the summary before I get into it.

Humans arrived on Quatza-rij, or the yautjan “home world” if you will. The Fuckers kidnapped 2 Yautja children, and experimented on them. The kids were killed during the torture, but special Alien circumstances scientists got their dna, and mutated the fuck out of it, including making more yautja with it. Without further Ado, here’s what happened.

Yautja Abominations

A Yautja abomination is a species that is mainly yautja, but with added dna and advanced abilities. They are generally larger, stronger, taller, faster, and advanced. On rare occasions, the added dna they were mutated with was an animals. Let’s say…Dragon for the sake of this I guess. They would have Horns, wings, sharper claws, longer teeth on their mandibles, maybe tails, and very rarely could breathe fire. The abominations are yautja, mixed with whatever the fuck the humans decide to mutate them with. But after a while, some of the yautja abominations escaped from the facility, leading to wild yautja abominations, not lab grown ones. They tend to be on the edge with Yautja Malisons, with some abominations being accepted and taken as berserkers, and occasionally generals.

Yautja Purebloods

Yautja purebloods are the backwater of the yautja. They are seen as outcasts, because they are the most human with significantly less yautja malison blood than an abomination. They by no means can pass as a yautja Malison(I’ll get into them), whereas some Yautja abominations could. Their yautja malison features are the following: Fangs, no mandibles. A few of the dreadlocks that you see in malisons, but also have human hair. Claws, but They have much smaller Claws than both other subspecies. They tend to have skin patterns/markings, such as what we saw in the first predator movie, that yautjas marking was spots, and in the elder we see in avp, spines. However, this species has evolved to have many secret abilities. They adapted to live out of sight, in secret, and in conditions that no other subspecies could. But by far, their most effective gift is their strongest connection with the gods. While a Malison priestess needs to see a spirit sight, have her spiritual token, her spiritual familiar, her spirit sisters even, a Pureblood priestess needs no more than her Spirit Staff to have a stable connection with her deity, and some can even speak directly with theirs if they are at a spirit sight. The reason they have this power is from their creation. The yautjan child that was captured and it’s dna used to create them, was born from no female yautja, but from the goddess of Power and divinity herself, No’a’tey(made her up and will make a post abt her later).

Yautja Malisons

I really don’t have much to say about these guys, because you see them in every predator movie. If you figured out that I just call them malisons before, then 10 pts to you I guess. But yeah, Malisons are the purebreds, the originals, the ones who weren’t experimented on, and the ones who are native to the mother world. As you know, Malisons are the strictest subspecies by far. Tradition tends to be extraordinarily strong and important for them, Such as their ranks, battle formations, their code, who can become a general, who can become a priestess, how you must complete a ritual, etc. Some will accept abominations and nearly none will accept purebloods, viewing the latter as a stain in the species, especially since the purebloods are yet to even consider sharing their hidden abilities with the Malisons.

Bonus

Abominations and Purebloods have been known to occasionally create clans together, such as the Night clan(clan that I made, my ocs live there, will explain that in another post). Such clans are also open to Yautja Malison Badbloods, depending on what they did to be named Badbloods, and these clans tend to be much less strict, intimidating, and harsh, with more of a laid back and calm approach to everything.

Yautja/human platonic friendship

These headcanons are for those who just want a platonic friendship with a yautja. *coughs* this is for @whereisxyro *coughs*

Not a lot of yautja will show their affection. They only do so if they really trust you. You and your yautja friend have known each other for years and they always seemed so cold to you in the sense that they didnt really seem to care about how ypu feel. One day, you just have a total breakdown in front of them. They hug you for the first time while you're crying and hold you tight as you sob. It relaxes you and feels very comforting

Your yautja friend will show you small things that they find neat like rocks, point at birds or vegetation. It makes them happy when you look at what they show you. You do the same as well

When you two don't feel like talking, you just sit in a room together doing your own thing. You like each other’s company no matter what you are doing.

You two will play pranks on each other. Your yautja friend had to learn not to do dangerous pranks for their small ooman friend. The first prank they pulled almost put you in the hospital

Your yautja friend likes shuving you. You thought they hated you at first, but they just shuved you to show their affection. It was one of their customs that seemed agressive to you, but it was normal for them

Your yautja friend leaves often to go on hunts. You always worry about them when they are gone because you know that they face very dangerous prey. But they always send you pictures to help ease your anxiety

When they come back from their hunts, they bring you small rocks from those planets since they know you like collecting rocks. They think it's strange, but they acknowledge that it is an interest of yours

Your yautja friend tries to learn human humor and you try to learn yautja humor to better understand each other. You've noticed yautja humor is really dark and sometimes not even funny to you.

You two exchange food often to see how each other’s food tastes. A lot of food that your yautja friend had is bitter, tart, or bland. But some of their foods are very flavorful and those are the ones that are served during special occasions. Your yautja friend is always surprised with how much flavor your food has. They often steal your food rather than eat their own. You don't blame them

You have a pet and your yautja friend doesn't understand the concept of owning an animal companion that doesn't hunt with them or do anything other being there for you to take care of. Over the years of you two being friends, they slowly started to understand the concept of a pet or owning a pet. Then you realized that their clan just didn't have animals that they utilized and that's why they didn't understand the concept of having or owning an animal.

Your yautja friend had to learn to be gentle with you since you are of a fragile species. It took them a while to understand that they can't be rough with you if they wanted to rough house with you.

Your yautja friend comes over to your house uninvited all the time, mostly to bother you or be in your presence. Sometimes you will come home to them chilling on your couch while they are whittling and making a mess on your floor. But they always clean up the messes they make in your house so you don't mind
