The 2014 remaster of Wonderwall Music includes detailed liner notes, and something I noticed was an image of a handwritten page of credits in George’s hand, with the notation “sleeve design by Klaus Voormann.” Intrigued by the possibility and wondering how far that idea might have progressed in 1968, I reached out to Klaus Voormann, who very kindly responded and solved the mystery. He said he had prepared and even carried out extensive work for the Wonderwall Music cover, but unfortunately, his plans were not feasible in terms of budget, logistics and deadline. As Klaus wrote, "A pity. Would have been nice."

Instead, the Wonderwall Music album cover image was created by Bob Gill.

George remembers, ‘I suggested we take a brick out of the wall to give the fellow on the other side a chance, just as the Jack MacGowran character had a chance. My 2000s/2010s kid medias wisdom:

Azula deserved a redemption arc and Ty Lee is the girl who got shafted by not being Zuko's love interest

The Soul Society is a military state and Ichigo was a good person for never joining it and Orihime was the best Bleach character

Sasuke was right and Kishimito made him an extremist as ableist victim blaming propaganda and Sakura and Hinata are equally good

Ben 10,including the sequels,is better than Danny Phantom

Flynn Ryder was a creep and a dickhead who didn't deserve Rapunzel

Hiccup was trans but so was Astrid,only transfem instead

Teen Titans is a beyond good show but the influence it's had on DC's comics is bad and Young Justice Animated should've never existed

The Hunger Games and Chronicles of Narnia derserve better than to be grouped in with Harry Potter because Thg is an anti-bigotry story rather than liberal bs and you can actually pull 'Death of the Author' with the problematic elements of Tcon because C.S Lewis is actually dead

Adventure Time is an almost perfect show and so're it's comics and sequel miniseries' and you can't pull 'It's bad because it got too serious in later seasons!!!' as a fact because that was the point,that it was trying to be different from most kids cartoons and it not being your thing dosen't mean it's not good writing

Winx Club,W.i.t.c.h,Totally Spies,The Powerpuff Girls,Kim Possible and MLP are feminist even if they have their flaws and they're brought in a girly packaging because they're meant to be heroes for little girls

Johnny Test is fine and y'all are weird fow visceral your reaction to it was

Percy Jackson and the Olympians dropped the ball by having Percy end up with Annabeth because they're 'destined to' since the point of Percy's story is that he never gets to choose what they actually want and they should've either ended up with Rachel or stayed single to work on character development and healing,Luke never actually cared about other demigods and was only using them as ammo against the gods because if he actually cared he wouldn't have abused them,Toa should've instead been a third Percy series of them destroying Olympus' corruption because they've had enough of the gods and replacing it with an actual good societal system and Percy is a super cool autistic Team Parent who'd be femme and kidcore if Rick bothered to develop their interests

Star Vs The Forces of Evil should've made trans Marco and autistic Star canon,endgamed them with Tom and Janna instead of eachother,made Jackie an mc and done none of that 'no magic' shit

Gravity Falls,We Bare Bears and Undertale/Deltarune's icon status are well-deserved

Craig of the Creek only gets ignored because it's a black show that's good

And She Ra and the Princesses of Power is called cringe nonstop because it's fanbase is largely wlw and trans women who're loud and proud with their queerness and the creator at the time of it's airing identified as a nonbinary lesbian and people hate female queerness while hyping up male kinds that play into stereotypes(Stiles and Derek from Teen Wolf,Magnus and Alec from The Mortal Instruments,the Shiro/Keith discourse,the Boyfriends Webtoon,Marauder's Era even being a thing,etc.Note that i am not calling Stevenson female but rather saying he knows what lesbophobic experiences are)

Have you ever thought to yourself: Yee howdy, I wish I could know what everyone thinks of my favorite character, and I also wish we could all definitively rank them in popularity based on the whims of the public? Then do I have the thing for you!

Right out the gate, it's time to vote for favorite characters. The votes for favorite NPC (human) and favorite NPC (other) will be running alongside each other, with the vote for NPC (other) starting a little later to make them both finish at the same time and end in an epic dual victory.

I have chosen to split them up because there's a lot of NPC's and we can expedite the process somewhat by having separate tournaments running alongside each other.

Humanoid creatures such as Pandorians residing in the circus will be counted as humans because that's how they choose to present and I will respect that.

Certain conditions apply regarding characters added to SSO just to host races, NPC's that are named but do not take part in quests, and characters from earlier games. these characters will not partake because the list is so. long. already.

Every poll will be accompanied by a picture and a brief description to refresh your memory, so don't worry if you can't remember them just by name! If you have any concerns or can't see your favorite NPC anywhere, send a message or an ask.

The first NPC (human) tournamnet will take place over 3 sessions of 40 posts per week, because it's 120 posts and I don't want to overwhelm you with that many posts. Once we've narrowed it down to 60 favorites it will be split into 2 sessions, and once we've only got 30 contestants left, I'll post them all in one go until a winner is declared. That's also when the NPC (other) polls will be posted.

On the lookout for some new ships/fandoms for fanfics

I do not intend to read/watch the source material.

I'm only on the search for good fanfics.

Like, I haven't watched a single episode of Teen Wolf, but read around 500 fics, after Coley mentioned in one of her vids that they have good fanfics. They do.

The thing is I'm not really interested in spending time with whatever canon since I don't have time to watch hours of stuff with only a bit of the-good-stuff™ in it. But I love reading fanfics and found it quite fun to get to know new characters through basically only AUs.

Oh boy. The list... TenRose (Doctor Who), Rachel/Schuester (Glee) (I don't want to talk about it), I was deep in Broadway fandoms so I REALLY don't want to talk about some of it (I had my Hamilton moments, but I was deeply invested in some American History RPF stuff before that. Talk to me about John Andre and Benjamin Tallmadge sometime).

Not really. Canon never mattered that much to me when it came to ships.

Vax/Keyleth. Took a Long Time to grow on me but they're fucking adorable.

Her Protector's Pleasure: okay Marianne actually has a good reason to be wandering the shady parts of London but that doesn't stop Honorable Cop Ambrose Kent from watching over her, and eventually helping her.

The Duke Who Knew Too Much: oh Emma.... all she wants to do is help assist her brother Ambrose and the hero Alaric with his murder investigation but she somehow ends up almost selling herself at a virginity auction that's only stopped because Alaric saves her and then immediately eats her out because he's Very Annoyed.

Olivia and the Masked Duke: Livy is basically her mom Emma but more competent and with actual investigative/defensive training but I'm pretty sure Hadleigh spanks her at some point because he keeps running into her in dangerous situations (but she can handle them! mostly!).

The first four Lady Charlotte's Society of Angels books all have heroines wandering into questionable situations with the heroes freaking out and running after them (or in Cull's case, kinda stalking Pippa lol), but they're generally competent gals who don't need protection, but the back-up's always nice.

The Prince of Broadway by Joanna Shupe: I debated putting this one on here because the dangerous place Florence goes to is Clay's gambling club but I feel like he kind of token objects to her slumming it before he's all "I'm not one of your PAMPERED UPTOWN GENTLEMEN flo" and then bites her. Devil of Downtown feels similar in terms of the hero protecting her but also feeling like she needs to be protected from him.

Dreaming of You by Lisa Kleypas: Oh Derek Craven..... he hates the idea of Sara wandering around London alone and hates it even more that she's exposed to the *debauchery* of his club because she's too good, too pure for him.

Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake by Sarah MacLean: Callie has a list of scandalous things she wants to do and Ralston kind of objects before he decides to help her accomplish everything on there, riding astride and all.

Bombshell by Sarah MacLean: The heroine is an explosives expert who's called upon to investigate a series of bombings, and the hero is a gruff cop type who is suuuuper bothered by her and by bothered I mean suuuuuper attracted to her, not that he'll ever admit it.

There are a few others in Sarah MacLean's Rules of Scoundrels series and her Bareknuckle Bastards series that kind of fit the bill, except the heroines are super competent or the heroes don't super care she's in questionable places lol.
