i think my favourite thing about malevolent is that john and arthur are both genuinely awful to be with. theyre not bickering like an old married couple they would straight up be ripping out each others hair and rolling around on the ground if they didnt share a body and didnt have to worry about alerting the creatures. arthur will die on literally any hill and said hill does not need to be consistent with any past or future beliefs. john has no issue with bringing up the most off limits shit imaginable to try and win/just make arthur look worse than him in any given situation. both of them are always hypocrites. arthur should threaten to cut off johns arm next and john should be like wow thats fucked up will you eat it too? since you love the taste of human flesh so much?
