Imo Nico saying "You're not my type," and skipping away to see Will was Nico trying to preserve some of his pride/dignity.
I mean, his actions throughout PJO & HoO are literally love confessions. He chooses Percy, turning his back on Hades, and only goes back to Hades on Percy's request. Nico sends his friend to help Percy in hell (literally more than anyone else did to help Percy). He sticks with the Argo II crew despite literally all of them besides Hazel being extremely rude/unsettled by him for Percy.
So it's like. Nico has laid his heart bare for Percy? But Percy is in a relationship with someone else and Nico doesn't really know what Percy thinks about him - other than being convinced that Percy doesn't love him. So he's pulling himself together and trying to show that no, he's not hung up on Percy. He's not pining. He's not crying over the one sided love, and feelings of rejection. And by playing his feelings as less serious than they actually are, he's enabling himself to continue to have a friendship with Percy - since by playing off his affections as a crush rather than painfully in love - it's less awkward that Percy don't return his feelings. So they can move on and resume their friendship. That's imo anyway. It was self preservation. @hermesmyplatonicbeloved
Oh, totally!
Sorry for responding until now, but I haven't been able to be very active on my networks lately :)
But bringing up this topic, if I had been in Nico's position, I think I would have done something very similar, if not the same. Imagine this situation: Having to be Perc#beth's spectator. That not only did they practically all their missions together, but important gods, such as Aphrodite and practically the ENTIRE fucking camp, did everything possible for Perc#beth to finally come together. And seeing firsthand how Percy practically gave his all to the people he cared about (Nico never really realized how important he was to Percy, since haha I think it's obvious to anyone in love and hurt), and Annabeth being territorial with Percy just gave Nico the idea that the two of them just can't be, it doesn't work, it's impossible. His low self-esteem in conjunction with the pain of losing his loved ones, his loneliness and all the pain he had to go through to protect Percy was enough for him to not only start wanting to lie to himself and others in order to get some relief to his pain. And besides, he was so used to people pushing him away, that the first guy who practically forces him to be by his side is obviously the person Nico is going to cling to, to say "I'm getting over it" when in reality he's not.
So. Nico gave too much, and wanting to feel better about everything he had done, he "he confess no confess." I'm a witness that not telling your feelings to a person can cause you a lot of problems, since there was never really closure. Your mind is always thinking about 'what if', even if you don't want it to.
So the best way for Nico, and I think for any sane person in his situation, to not generate even more pain than one already has and not put oneself in a compromising situation is to confess not confess: Totally minimize your feelings, saying that they are from the past and something temporary (giving the other person to understand that you became interested but you don't have any problem now, that the unilateral nature of the situation doesn't bother you at all.)(HAHAHA its funny because it actually does). And even more so being in Nico's situation, that practically seconds before confessing, Percy boasted about his future with Annabeth. That was the final blow. It's a total NO to Nico, and like a normal person, he saved what little dignity he had left (you know, the whole situation with Cupid and what follows) and left with the only person who was behind him (because obviously Nico would be tired of just chasing, it's normal to want to be chased, but that's not a confirmation of romantic feelings, it's just a need, and more of a lonely and 'needed of love' person). So, I totally agree.

Okay So
- Hazel and Nico will each give the other the bigger half when splitting food
- Hazel and Nico often shared a bed on the argo ii
- Bianca was goth first
- All of them have freaky good vision in the dark
-Hazel forgets to blink or breathe sometimes, and often creeps people out. Either her body is used to being dead or she got a new one on being resurrected but her mind hasn't caught up yet. Both creepy options. Scary Hazel Rights.
- she also needs a heavy weight on top of her her be able to sleep. She doesn't like this about herself.
- Nico has ringbinders full of mythomagic cards which he reorganises by a new theme every morning. He also has metaphorical binders full of autism.
- I was gonna put a Maria one here but I could go on about Maria di Angelo for a decade and not be done
- Hazel like my little pony and strawberry shortcake
- Hazel draws a lot of fanart
- Nico has his own special set of black scrubs for helping in the infirmary
- Nico knits (mostly socks), Will crochets (mostly blankets). They both learnt from their mothers.
- Will and Nico go vintage shopping together. Nico likes collecting vintage toys.
- Nico refers to himself as "a homosexual" exclusively I don't care that canon says otherwise canon lied
- Will breeds maggots and leeches for uuuhhh.... medical purposes....
- Nico styles his hair deliberately in a bats nest. Hazel doesn't know that this is deliberate and thinks he is just scruffy.
- Hazel plucks Nico's monobrow realtrue canon feature as an experiment. Will cried seeing his boyfriend with 2 (two!!) Eyebrows.
- the only person will has acted jealous around is pranjal. Nico isn't sure if it's the boyfriend kind of jealousy or some weird healer envy (it's both)
There's probably more knocking about in between my skull and my one brain cell but I am a sleepy boy \(°○°)/
THESE ARE AMAZING i'm so here for scary hazel. i always hated the whole "nico is creepy and deathly while hazel is warm and soft" thing like....hazel is literally an undead child of pluto let her be creepy too?!?! i love the hc that she forgets to breathe and blink. sooo good
also yessss i also hc that children of hades/pluto can see in the dark
will would absolutely 100% acquire goth black scrubs for nico. hed give them to nico as a gift and nico would hold back tears cus he loves them so much
also the idea that nico deliberately styles his hair to look Like That is so accurate and such a 15 year old emo kid thing to do. i feel so seen rn. skjdhfkj will seeing nico with two eyebrows and like gently touching the plucked part like "who hurt you"

Analyzer - Félix & Emotion, Part 2 (Miraculous Ladybug)
Tumblr media
Welcome to Part 2 of my Félix and Emotion Analyzer! Last time we left off, Félix had just transformed into Argos and poofed Gabriel out of existence!
Tumblr media
Told ya I'd dance on that bastard's grave.
Anyways, Part 2 will cover what happens during Episode 18: Emotion, as well as its resolution, with Part 3 covering everything that happens afterwards.
Let's start!
Tumblr media
Right after Gabriel got Thanos-snapped by Argos, he proceeds to snap other people attending the party out of existence, clearly having a lot of fun with this.
This guy... has issues.
This includes Kagami's mother (Yatta!), which pisses Kagami off. Apparently, she does not know just how awful her mother is, yet, with Argos telling her how she's finally free. Argos then grabs Marinette and leaps out of the building, leaving Kagami in tears.
Tumblr media
Marinette is, understandably, pissed off, and demands that Argos tells her what he had done with Adrien, and Argos responds how he'd never hurt Adrien (ruining his reputation is apparently a-okay, but given all the things Adrien did to piss me off personally, yeah, it was deserved). Argos then proceeds to dump Marinette unceremoniously into a dumpster, which did get a chuckle out of me.
After he made sure that Marinette was safe, Argos then proceeds to frigging walk around the city, singing and dancing as he snaps more people out of existence.
Tumblr media
Okay, who's idea was this?! Honestly, the first time I saw this, I was like... What? Like, I legit had no idea how to react to this.
Tumblr media
It's so goofy and out of place, but at the same time, I can't blame him for having the time of his life. He's definitely a theatre kid.
Ladybug then appears, with Argos telling her how they're waiting for Cat Noir and then he can get their Miraculous. Ladybug's conclusion is that he works for Monarch, which... well, it makes sense in her mind. She finally points out how he's the reason they lost all the Miraculous to Monarch.
Tumblr media
Argos responds that she's correct, except he works for no one. He attacks her, proceeding to explain how he used them to get the Peacock Miraculous and now he needs the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous to make his wish.
Tumblr media
Ladybug questions his motivation, with Argos explaining:
Argos: When I merge your Miraculous together, I'll make a wish to create a better world! A free world — where no one will be under anyone's control anymore, where no one will be excluded like I was! A world without people like you to decide what's right or wrong! Who gets powers and who doesn't! Ladybug: There would be a terrible price to pay... (Argos stops for a moment.) Argos: There's no price too high for me. I have nothing to lose.
Honestly, this kid is desperate if he's willing to go that far, but we'll get to why in a moment. Also, this line of dialogue is... frustrating to say the least after seeing the Season 5 Finale.
Ladybug: You're no better than Monarch if you use the same methods he does! I'll NEVER give you my Miraculous!! Argos: Then, I'll do without it! If you don't let me recreate the world, I'll use my own power to transform it! I'll just snap my fingers until there's no one left!
Yeah, Maribug, Félix would be no better than Gabriel for making the wish, and you would never allow something like that to happen.
Tumblr media
Somehow, an abused teenager is still more irredeemable than a terrorist. The Miraculous Ladybug Writing, ladies and gentlemen!
Not to mention, Argos still has more braincells than Monarch (who would lose every episode despite having almost all of the Miraculous and Maribug and Adrichat still fail to take away the Miraculous from him despite having him cornered) and decides to use Red Moon to delete everyone from his new Minecraft server.
Tumblr media
Argos has Maribug literally cornered, and honestly, this is a really tense situation. If she does anything, he'll just snap his fingers and she's gone. Maribug proceeds to use Lucky Charm... and gets absolutely nothing. Now, that's a shocker.
Argos proceeds to call a checkmate, and Maribug agrees. Here's the deal, Argos cannot be defeated the usual way. He's in control here, and only he can decide what he will do next. He demands Maribug's Miraculous, but she refuses. Argos threatens that all of humanity will disappear if she doesn't do it, but she responds how he's the only one who can decide this.
Tumblr media
Frustrated, Argos proceeds to snap her out of existence.
We then see Argos walking around the empty city (well, more empty than usual), and it's rather eerie. Still, he smiles, clearly happy with his decision. That is, until he's confronted by Kagami, who is pissed off at him for making everyone she loved disappear. Argos' answer to it is "Not everyone." and he makes Adrien appear. Ah, so that's where he was.
Tumblr media
When questioned about what happened, Argos tells Adrien how he created a better world for him, a world where he's free. We then get a flashback of how this whole plan got started.
Tumblr media
Argos: Oh, little amok, can you feel my anger? Bring life to my creation, dear amok. And let my emotions come to life! (holds up a copy of Adrien's camouflaged Cat Miraculous which is where the amok transfers into, and a small, red moon appears.) Hello, Red Moon. I'm Argos. Together, we're going to save Adrien from my uncle's grasp so that he can finally be free!
So, Argos used his anger to create an amok that would help him save Adrien from his uncle's grasp, so he can finally be free. It is a noble intention, but the execution went south. The question remains, why would Argos do that? It'll be answered in a moment, but next, we see Argos spying on Marinette and Adrien's date, and once Adrien runs off, Argos calls him and snaps him out of existence, taking over his identity to sneak into the Diamond Dance.
Tumblr media
The reason he had been in hiding was because he was waiting for the perfect opportunity to set both of them free.
Argos: To set us all free! And offer us a new world where no one can tell us what we can or can't do! And voilà! We're free! And we're together! Aren't you incredibly happy?!
Pay attention to this bit, I will go over in the conclusion.
Kagami and Adrien are, surprise, surprise, not happy, and Kagami attacks him, while Adrien calls him crazy, demanding he brings all the people back. Argos responds how this is what Adrien wanted, to be free.
Tumblr media
Argos: What's there not to like? What's the problem? (continues to evade Kagami's attacks and goes above the roof of a car) I thought you wanted to be freed from your parents? Look, isn't this great? Just the three of us! We have everything we need to be happy!!
Adrien and Kagami are just frustrated with him, with Kagami on the verge of tears and Adrien wonders how he can be without his friends, his father (*eye-roll*) and the girl he loves. Argos tells him how he isn't that evil, since he got Marinette stashed away in a dumpster, only to learn that she isn't there. Argos then tries to snap her back, but since he snapped her away as Ladybug, Marinette won't appear.
Tumblr media
Argos: You really think I'm that evil? (goes to open the trash bin where he hid Marinette...) Ta-da! (...only to find it empty; Adrien and Kagami peek inside, too) Huh? That's weird. (snaps his fingers in hopes of bringing back Marinette) Huh?! I don't understand! (backs away from the trash bin) She should come back! (continues to snap his fingers) Something's wrong! I can usually bring back whoever I want, but it's like she's nowhere! Like she's completely gone! I'm sorry, Adrien!
Argos starts panicking, trying to return Marinette, but it doesn't work. Just, just look at this breakdown:
Tumblr media
Adrien tells him how he isn't even in control of his own power (you would know all about that, huh, Mr. Cataclysm), with Argos bringing everyone back, telling Adrien how he never wanted to hurt the two
Tumblr media
Maribug is back, de-transforming and reuniting with Adrien and Kagami. Argos just watches them, clearly remorseful, and then leaves to talk to Red Moon.
Tumblr media
Argos: My friend, I've made a terrible mistake. I shouldn't have created you out of so much anger. Your power is terrible. What would've happened if I lost control? Can you forgive me? (drops to his knees) My friend, my sister. I release you from existence. (snaps Red Moon out of existence as he bursts into tears)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We see that Argos is absolutely devastated to release Red Moon from her existence, even calling her his sister, and breaks down in tears. Honestly, I genuinely felt sorry for him here.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Back at London, Argos has a conversation with Amelie, which shows that she knew exactly what he was up to:
Amelie: You were right: I did everything you told me to and Gabriel didn't do or say anything to help me. He despises me. He's a monster! They're all monsters! Argos: Hold my feather. (He de-transforms into Félix and goes to hug Amelie) Félix: Not all of them. (smiles)
Tumblr media
Want to bet that that person is Marinette?
So, this was Emotion. What did we learn? *rubs hands* Hoo, boy, what did we learn...
I still stand behind my statement that Félix is the best character in Miraculous Ladybug, and this episode proves it. Emotion gives Félix a lot of depth, showing that, for all his cunning and ability to outsmart any opponent, he's still just a teenager who wants to make this world better for himself and the people he cares about. His mind is completely focused on survival, and he took the Peacock Miraculous because that was what he needed to survive.
He basically takes upon himself to shoulder a burden on his own, to do what he believes is the best for Adrien, and Kagami, as he doesn't trust anyone else. He thinks that everyone besides the people he cares about are controlling bastards, similar to Gabriel - complete monsters, as he calls them. He spared Marinette, because she had shown that she cares about Adrien.
Despite having taken the Genocide Route, Félix is not heartless. I see him more as a misguided teenager who believes he knows what he's doing. He was so incredibly happy that everyone who could hurt him, Adrien or Kagami was gone, and I'm certain this reaction comes from a very traumatic moment from his life. When he learns that what he wants and what those he cares about is different, he pauses to think about it. Hell, the moment he believed that he couldn't bring back Marinette and was afraid that he lost control of his powers, he returned everyone at once, apologizing to Kagami and Adrien for what he had done.
Given what we learn later on about his past, there is no doubt Félix's mindset is the consequence of his upbringing, and his desire for freedom had warped him mentally and emotionally, to the point he saw no other way out but to snap everyone out of existence. He doesn't even trust Maribug nor Adrichat to help him, and I think I can pinpoint where this distrust comes from - watching the Sentimonsters in Season 4 Finale being sent into the sun by Ladybug and her hero team.
Yeah, without shying around, the truth is that Félix is a Sentimonster himself, and so are Adrien and Kagami. His focus on the Agreste Rings and the Peacock Miraculous, as well as him watching tearfully other Sentimonsters being annihilated makes it clear that not only does he understand what he is, but also that his life can easily be ended by a snap of fingers... as Gabriel had threatened him before.
That's why he didn't care about snapping away everyone but Kagami and Adrien. He knew they weren't humans, but Sentimonsters under the control of their parents. Knowing how both of them desired freedom, he decided to fulfill his own and their wishes, only for it to backfire.
I see Félix as a very tragic character, who did have the best intentions, but went wrong about them. He had no issue betraying Maribug in Season 4 because he didn't give a damn about the population of Paris, or the rest of the world for that matter. Would anyone care about him if he was snapped out of existence? Most likely, only his mother.
Furthermore, he understands that, even if there are monsters among humanity, there is someone he believes would care about him, but that's for later.
So, in conclusion, Emotion is Peak!Félix. Of course, there are a few observations I made, the main being why Félix doesn't tell someone, anyone, that Monarch is Gabriel Agreste, but to my surprise, we got that answered in another episode.

Tumblr media
His name is Argos and he is a good boy.
Tumblr media
We ride Argos to an interesting facility where-
OMG
Tumblr media
Thancred, do you see what I'm seeing?
I'm seeing bunnies.
Tumblr media
A lot of bunnies.
Tumblr media
If I had a nickel for every time I was mistaken for a child...
Tumblr media
The Loporrits were created by Hydaelyn at some point in the long long distant past and ever since have been dutifully preparing the moon to take us - the people of Etheirys - to a new star to resettle. They are unsurprised by the news of Zodiark's demise, as it is the eventuality that they have been anticipating their entire lives. They are the backup plan.
Tumblr media
I... Did not realize it was quite so literal. Though I suppose I should have, after all, Zodiark without Elidibus was basically a husk full of power. So Hydaelyn, after a fashion, must be Venat. I wonder how similar the primal now is to the woman she used to be?
Tumblr media
Ah. So he is like the shades of Emet-Selch's Amaurot: a simulacrum in the image of a person long deceased. I wonder if he too was one of the souls who gave their lives to fuel a primal's summoning? We don't have any information so far that Hydaelyn required the sacrifice of lives to create... but I cannot imagine how else it would be done. After all, She was only the second primal in existence: it stands to reason that the second summoning would be modeled on the first.
All that aside. The idea that all this technology is the result of Venat and her colleagues' research is... wow. The ancients were scarily close to inventing space travel.
Tumblr media
The Loporrits have apparently been getting help from somebody? Somebody who has been providing them with information and materials to prepare for our arrival?
Tumblr media
That somebody neglected to tell the Loporrits that we are nowhere near as tall as the Amaurotines were. They probably didn't know the ancients existed, much less how large they were.
This revelation produces much screaming and running from poor Livingway, who now has to deal with a facility designed approximately three times bigger than necessary.
Tumblr media
Probably a good idea.
First stop! The Carrotorium. A potentially revealing name if ever there was one. And yes, it does turn out that while there are plenty of varieties of carrots, to meet all our nutritional needs... That's all there are. Just. Carrots. Not even cooked. Raw carrots. Oh dear. This is Sharlayan and their Archon Loaf all over again.
Tumblr media
...Ah. I am getting an idea. And it is potentially both hilarious and revealing.
Tumblr media
...Or maybe not? Hmm.
Tumblr media
I am more than slightly jealous that the Loporrits have creation magics.
Tumblr media
Next, clothes!
...It feels like the Loporrits heard that the ancients wore robes and masks and combined that with the knowledge that modern peoples enjoy diverse colors and textures, without ever having actually seen either of the two groups.
Actually, that's probably exactly what happened.
...At least Urianger seems to like his?
I feel so bad for the Loporrits. They want to please and help so badly, but just weren't given the right information to do so. They've tried so hard, but their efforts have come up all wrong.
Tumblr media
Another good question from Thancred. Are there Loporrits for the reflections? Do the other reflections even have an outer space to flee to?
Tumblr media
It's the same star. It's...
I'm not even having this argument. This isn't Livingway's fault.
*Ahem!*
In light of this answer, I actually have another question.
Does your definition of "people" include the tribes? Or just the ones that look like us? How about the dragons? Are you even aware that they exist? Because, if your collaborators are who I suspect they are, I have a bad feeling about who they will prioritize to save.

Just found this in my docs! Apparently I wrote down my reaction when I first listened to Ulysses Dies At Dawn last november, soooo :D
Started listening to Ulysses Dies at Dawn by The Mechanists. First song is The City, let's gooo (19:44).
Just finished listening to Ulysses Dies at Dawn. Oh, shit, I just realised why the album is called that, fuck. My heart. His death was simultaneously heartbreaking, peaceful, and triumphant. I had no idea it was going to end like that. Amazing (22:24).
Ok, some rambling about it before I re-listen with lyrics:
The whole idea of trials, and each character's backstory getting introduced with them is cool. It lets the mystery soak for a bit, giving breadcrumbs out, and letting each character have time to breathe.
I like how the blind guy is almost exclusively referred to as "that motherfucker" XD. Ironic.
Ok, but the sphinx disease is legitimately horrifying. Wow, the Olympians are just straight up villains in this huh.
I think Daedalus has the coolest vibes (apart from Ulysses) 'cause he's just so smooth all the time. Calm and collected and unconcerned... until the end when Ulysses switches it up on him lol.
The line "Currently beaten, battered, bloody... Unbowed. Spits out a mouthful of teeth and disdain" perfectly encapsulates Ulysses' character. I love it.
Ulysses being this super smart inventor tactician dude is awesome. I was stunned by the Trojan Horse twist. Broken Horses was amazing, I had literal chills. Interestingly, it almost reminds me of Hell’s Comin’ with Me by Poor Man’s Poison? Also, the signal Ulysses designed for the Trojan Horse sounds a lot like the V-Day signal in Kingsman. Brutal.
The beat to My Name is No-One sounds like an alarm, like how False Peace by Precious Jewel Amor utilises the prison alarm as percussion, which is very cool. And the song is hilarious. Just waltz in, it'll be fine :D Love the way it fades out after he gives his name away, ending on an unresolved note a lot like in Remember Them from EpicTM. Yo, speaking of Epic, I kinda love how the electric guitar in this song unintentionally mirrors the way Odysseus in Epic has the electric guitar as his instrument when he’s doing badass shit.
And then Ulysses going from idealistic to traumatised, and you don't even see the extent of his hope for the world until right at the end, when it's already gone. Like, shit bro.
Love how even though he spends like- almost the whole thing being drunk and getting beaten up, he still always seems in control somehow. The only time he isn't is in Underworld Blues when he's begging to Hades. I'll have to relisten to that to figure out what he wanted, actually. It was a bit unclear. Did he just... want Hades to kill him or smth? Make sure his brain wasn't on the network? Yeah, I'll need the lyrics.
The twists on all the lore are honestly so great. From mythical and magical, to futuristic and mechanical. You can clearly see the real world myths all their backstories come from.
That simple, blunt "No" from Ariadne was great.
I love how in Torn Suits all of the mercs are singing about why they can't die, and how they're going to use the money to escape the City's hold on them. By running, or paying off debts, or taking a loved one back, or ruling it. But then Ulysses kills them and willingly dies himself, giving his body to the earth and escaping the City more fully than they ever could. Hell yeah, fuck them.
As soon as I heard the password was 'Elysian', I knew it was something about death. His death. And something about it will be peaceful. I was right.
And ARGOS!! The doggo reunites with his human, and yeah he still dies, but Ulysses practically goes with him! Also, are dogs extinct in this world, like horses? Did Ulysses manage to find the last tree and the last dog?? Damn, dude. Mad skillz.
Bro, I was wondering where Penelope was going to fit into all this, 'cause in The Odyssey, practically his entire life purpose is to get back to her, but here there was... nothing stopping him I thought? I thought either he was in huge debt to someone and was stuck in a completely different sector than Penelope, or he was staying away out of guilt and shame over his actions in the war. But then it's revealed that he is trying to get back to her... in death. Like, fuck bro, that's really fucking sad. Dude's been passively or actively suicidal for the past few decades, and then he finally gets to rest with her... Fuck, man. Hits hard.
Ulysses sounds a lot like Joel from The Last of Us games when he sings softly. It helps that Elysian Fields is literally just Wayfaring Stranger lol. Also gives the same feeling as the endish part of AC: Valhalla, after he talks to the king and rides away and Twilight of the Gods starts playing.
The cover art is so cool, as well. And the last ones? The plain wooden table, bare of any media or research or advertisement. So good. No more secrets. No more lies. The truth, laid out in the open, plain as can be. Nothing more, nothing less. And then the vault, blood splattered enemies dying, grasping for artificial life in the cold grey, while Ulysses lies under the living tree, surrounded by sunlight and green with his loved ones, at peace with his death. Amazing imagery.
The drums at the end of Elysian Fields are like a funeral march or the drums that play on Anzac Day. So good.
Okay, I think I've written all I wanted to say, so imma go read the lyrics now (22:56).
Finished listening with the lyrics! Love it even more now (01:44).

Welcome to the "What the fuck is that theory?!"
Today I want to talk about DMC 2. What about it, you might ask; well my friend, I want to tell you of a theory that I have been thinking about constantly for the past week/week and a half.
What if, in DMC2, Dante isn't Dante; what if it's actually Vergil? Just--
Hear me out--
According to the actual DMC writers; DMC2 takes place after 4 (and I think 5 as well, for this we are going to say after any game in the series).
So maybe the reason Dante sounds so... off is because that's not Dante. It's Vergil masquerading as his brother.
This is rough but just--
What if Dante died when the twins were in hell?
Vergil in his grief and probable fucking mental breakdown would come back mimicking his brother; keeping the Devil May Cry going in his brother's name.
Maybe Dante even asked Vergil to take over the shop for him and bestowed his gear to him--including Rebellion.
Or (and here comes the crackhead and main theory) what if Argosax is Dante.
Vergil and Dante's story lines up almost perfectly with Mundus and Argosax, respectively. Mundus ate a Qliphoth fruit to become stronger than Argo; Vergil ate a Qliphoth fruit to become stronger than Dante.
So let's roll with Argosax somehow being Dante in DMC2;
⋗It would be really ironic that Argosax wouldn't talk when "normal" Dante won't stop talking.
⋗Argo's horns are similar to Dante's Sin DT and his body is similar.
⋗"Dante" is able to disappear during the last fight which is kind of more Vergil's thing--to be able to teleport.
⋗Although I know this is old and Dante's colors weren't all red; Ivory's charge color is blue.
⋗"Dante" doesn't look Argosax in the eye or say anything--not even "Jackpot". Argosax, on the other hand, looks at him; staring him down. Perhaps to try and plead with his older brother (who knows that there is nothing that can be done).
⋗Plus the symbolism of Ivory being used NOT Ebony; Ivory is the gun that Dante used in DMC3 where as Vergil used Ebony. It would have made a LOT more sense for "Dante" to use Ebony for that shot, but he didn't, he used Ivory--he used Dante's gun. Given, Dante does kind of smile buT perhaps it is because he is happy to free his brother of this curse (and that he won a fight against him lmfao)
⋗Rebellion hitting the ground at the end of the fight might be a metaphor for Dante being put to rest; the legend of the Sparda twins being put to bed. (It's also just a cool view by I digress)
All this comes to a head when "Dante" (or in this case, Vergil) decides to go to the underworld; seemingly unphased by the idea--which, again, would play into it being Vergil who spent most of his adult life in Hell. Perhaps to go and continue the fight? or maybe see if his brother is, in part, still alive like he was after being killed in DMC1.
I don't know, it would be an interesting way for them to retcon DMC2 into the time period they say it's from...
Instead of taking place between 1 and 4 like literally, everyone else thinks it does--including myself--and that Dante's just really fuckin' depressed lmao Please keep in mind, as I said, I do not personally think that this is how it should work-- I just thought it would be interesting to talk about. I'm sure that this has been talked about before and probs been beaten into the ground but I thought it was interesting lol.
I'm curious to know what anyone else thinks about this; does anyone else see what I'm getting at? Like I know I am kinda grasping at straws, but isn't that the whole basis of DMC lore to begin with lmfaooo Please let me know through the tags or comments what you think--I'd love to read other's thoughts on this!!
Thanks for coming to my sleep-deprived theory time and I'll see y'all next time.

BRF Reading - 21st of June 2022
This is speculation only
Cards drawn on the 21st of June, 2022
Question: What will Prince William's 41st year (the year ahead) be like?
Tumblr media
Interpretation: I have drawn four cards. Each card tells me something that will happen in the year ahead for Prince William.
Card One: The Star. In the literal sense, the Star card is about being a star, so Prince William will continue to shine in the public spotlight. This can be a 'wishes come true' card, so he may see a wish he has suddenly come true in his life - an idea may manifest into a reality, or he may achieve some personal goal.
The Star card shows Pandora opening the forbidden box and all the ills of the world rushing out of the box, along with the figure of hope. This tells me that no matter how many "slings and arrows of misfortune" Prince William will suffer from this year, he will carry a sense of hope with him that will sustain him through these moments.
The Star can be a card of making significant changes in your life, of transforming yourself into someone closer to the highest version of yourself, and with this having a new sense of meaning and purpose in your life. This journey is ahead of Prince William this year; to use what happens to transform himself into a higher version of himself, and not to give in to pettiness or to go as low as his rivals. He needs to use his inner strength to rise above people that try to pull him down.
The Star card represents the zodiac sign of Aquarius, a sign noted for social justice and for treating everyone as equals. Prince William should be able to do more for whatever social justice issues he supports this year. Aquarius is about friends and groups, so I expect him to be supported by his friends in his work. H will be working with groups of people rather than doing things by himself.
This is the only major arcana card in the reading, so it is the dominant energy.
Card Two: The Seven of Cups. This is a card about making choices. Some of the things we choose are good for us, and some are not. Some can be made into realities, and some are just illusions or daydreams. Once we have made our choice, we have to do the hard work to make the choice a reality and not just a daydream.
Cups is the suit of emotions, so Prince William may have to make some emotional choices this year. He will have a number of opportunities available to him, but he needs to be careful to choose the one that is best for him.
The card shows Psyche begging the goddess Aphrodite, her mother-in-law, to return her husband to her. The goddess is pointing to a cup that represents one or more of four difficult tasks that Psyche had to perform before she could be reunited with her husband. This indicates that Prince William (represented by Psyche) may have to do some tasks or jobs for the royal family (represented by the goddess Aphrodite) before he can achieve his final goals (whatever they are).
Card Three: The Ten of Wands. This is a card of feeling burdened, and of seeing your dreams turn to ash around you. The card shows Jason sitting in a burning shelter made from the wood of his ship, the Argo.
The energy of this card is that Prince William will be carrying a heavy burden this year. I don't get that his dreams will burn down around him, but they may be delayed or be difficult to achieve.
Wands is the suit of creative energy, which can manifest as PR, so Prince William may be suffering from a PR campaign this year, such as his brother putting out PR against him or his father continuing to undermine him while also using his [William's] popularity for his father's [Charles's] advantage. Alternatively, as tens are cards of completion and endings, there may be the ending of a cycle this year, either a PR cycle or a creative cycle, where the burden Prince William has been carrying can be put down once and for all.
Card Four: The Three of Wands. This is the card of having a successful first stage to a project, an initial triumph in some area. Something that Prince William starts will be very successful in the early stages, and he will be able to celebrate that success before continuing the hard work to bring the project to a successful conclusion in later years.
The card shows the usurper king, Pelias, kneeling at the feet of Jason and offering him the crown of his kingdom. Jason still has to do a lot of work before that crown is securely his. This offering of the crown to a younger person is why this is my card for the line of succession and for the transfer of power within the royal family. In that sense, this card shows that Prince William will be given more power within the royal family this year. This may be a behind-the-scenes thing, with Prince William having more say in what goes on in the royal family, or he may step into his role as Duke of Cornwall/Prince of Wales. I can't tell which one it is from the energy as I get too upset when I think of Her Majesty leaving us and all my detachment goes out the window, and with it my ability to interpret the cards.
Underlying Energy: The Ace of Pentacles. Aces are new beginnings, and Pentacles is the suit of money and status, so there will be a new beginning for Prince William in this area. New opportunities will become available to him that will enable him to increase his finances and/or his social status. For finances, this can take the form of an inheritance. Aces can also be babies, and the Ace of Pentacles is an earth sign baby, so there may be that in his future. However, the energy is much more of a change in status and/or something involving finances.
Conclusion: Prince William will carry a sense of hope with him throughout this year. He will use the challenges of the year to grow and transform himself into a person who is closer to his ideal self. He may see a wish of his come true. He will continue to be in the spotlight and to be supported by his friends.
He will have more opportunities offered to him, but he may have to undertake some tasks for the royal family (which may not be things that he likes or enjoys) in order to take advantage of those opportunities and manifest one or more of his goals. This is likely to be in the area of emotions and relationships.
He will be carrying a burden throughout this year in the area of creative energy or PR. It may be difficult for him to achieve his creative goals. He is likely to be burdened by negative PR and/or have a chance to lay down some of his burdens as a PR or creative cycle stops for good.
He will have more say and more power over what happens in the royal family, either behind the scenes or because of an upwards change in his status. He may also find that one of his projects s very successful in the initial stages.
He will be given opportunities to increase his wealth and/or his status, and he may receive an inheritance.

So I've watched all the English Dubbed Miraculous Ladybug episodes: 1-18.
One: I'm pissed that Alya still hasn't realized how shitty Lila is. (I mean surely with Marinette being Ladybug and Alya knowing that, the girl would have put some points together. Though I guess Alya just makes me salty because I was a reporter student/literally went to college for three years for studying journalism and she just... Anyway I have to remember she's still a kid. But also not the best friend because best friends are meant to be ride or die and if one has vibes about a person, we all feel vibes about the person.)
Two: Chloe could have had a redemption arc. She could have. She and Zoe could have been incredible power siblings. We coulda had it all.
Three: Lila reminds me of someone from my real life and I wish i could throttle her. (Legally can I? Because ive seen spoilers say that she's not even really named Lila and her mom is one of like 3 moms. So I'm wondering if she's like those people who look really young but are actually 30 and posing as teens for a con. If thats the case, legally i could throttle her.)
Four: I hated the episode of Derision. I hated the trauma porn it was. I hated how it triggered shit in me from my own high school experiences.
Five: Gabriel just shut up and die already. Even Nathalie is tired of your shit. She's probably literally counting down the days until she's dead so she never has to deal with your bullshit again. (Or she's counting how long it'll take her to snap and kill you herself before the cataclysm does.)
Six: Kagami don't trust the evil teen who is potentially a disguised adult conning people. You deserve better than her. She's a total liar and you're awesome.
Seven: I love Zoe. My baby gay.
Eight: Plagg, use your kwami senses to find the other kwami and then sneak into Gabriel's room to finish what you started. Itll be fine. Adrien will recover.
Nine: Felix! My beloved. I wanted him to win. Why couldn't he bring everyone except Gabriel back and then explain everything to Adrien while Gabriel is "gone". Then he and his mom could move into the manor, adrien have his freedom and save the kwamis, and potentially Emilie. Please?
Ten: I loved Argos. I love the idea of not being tied to certain things while being a miraculous holder. (I wish we could've seen his relationship with Dusuu, but it seemed like they were on good terms.)
(I wanna see Adrien go batshit as Chat Noir when it all comes out. Have his own little "villain" descent with a song like Felix did. Like yes please.)

So there's a blanddcheadcanons post that says that "Kara is the mortal avatar of Rao" and I really don't like it, especially in the context of SG 3x04 (The Faithful). At best, as was pointed out to me by a friend with whom I discussed this post, the House of El is likely blessed and somewhat sponsored by Rao, which probably doesn't do much but produce Krypton's greatest heroes, given what the word "El" **means** in Kryptonian. I'm interested in your thoughts on this (pls post your answer).
I reject the headcannon solely because if it were true it would mean Coville was right and I fucking hate that bitch.
In all seriousness, though, this is an idea I've seen a lot and I'm not a huge fan of. I don't know much about Raoism beyond what appears in the show and that which can be inferred off of the show. One thing I would point out though is that El in Kryptonian (while obviously being intended to mean God by the original comic writers) can mean Sun or Stars, and since the Kryptonians in the show are, as far as I can tell, monotheistic, and worshipped only one particular star, the El family is not necessarily named God. It would, however, signify their enormous prestige on Krypton and contribute to the famous El pride (or rather, arrogance). I’m not sure it would necessarily have to mean anything more than that-- that the Els are a respected house who have produced a variety of successful politicians, civil servants, and scientists. And (this time reaching a little bit) that they are perhaps so old and respected that their house name was once a title.
There is a certain allure to the theory, for sure. Kara is a paragon character. She always, always does what she thinks is right, regardless of the cost, personal or global, and regardless of what other people might think of it. She has a very direct moral compass, and there are only a handful of times when she doesn’t follow it, all of which involve saving Lena. Ship who you want, but it is notable that Kara routinely prioritzes Lena’s life over that of others given the rarity of that happening otherwise. She never even considered breaking Rick Thompson’s father out of prison when he kidnapped Alex, and all he’d committed was bank robbery. Kara has lines she does not cross (though murder is clearly not one of them). She is a character that has seen some of the worst that sentient life is capable of, has seen more death and suffering than most people could imagine, and she came out of it with an all-encompassing desire to protect others. She lives to give people hope. Plus, the humor of having Kara-- the one person most offended by the idea of being an Avatar of Rao-- turn out to be an Avatar of Rao is great.
But, I would also say that having Kara want to do good because she is the avatar of a benevolent god is reductive and not particularly true to her character. It is true that helping and protecting people is a large part of the core of who Kara is. But there is a difference between altruism and the self-destructive, bordering of suicidal desperation to save absolutely everyone that Kara practices. And to anyone who doubts the suicidal bit, I direct you to the season 1 finale where Kara literally goes on a goodbye tour because she thinks if she goes out to fight Non she’ll die. She still goes because she has hope, but that hope is that she can at least save Earth with her life. She doesn’t fight because she is certain in the ultimate victory of good and justice. She does it because she more afraid to lose another family than she is to die. Kara doesn’t become Supergirl and risk her own life because she believes in good, she does it because she can’t stand to listen to people suffer-- because she has suffered. To use Alex’s words in 1x13 “You fight everyday to keep people from struggling like you have.” Notably also in 1x13, Kara wakes up from the Black Mercy and her first words are “Who did this to me?” and then she goes after Non in what could arguably be described as a homicidal rage-- a rage that is fueled entirely for personal reasons, not the greater good of Earth (though that comes as an added benefit), which is.... not very befitting the avatar of a benevolent god.
A major part of season 1 is Kara dealing with grief and rage. She nearly breaks a guy's arm in episode 6 because he screamed at her for damaging his car, to hell with the children he'd almost hit with it. In season 3's Midvale flashbacks we see her first put both hands through a lunch table, then attack Jake when she suspects him for Kenny's death. She gets better at controlling it as the seasons progress, but during Crisis she very nearly melts Lex. Also not particularly godly of her.
Then there is the fact that so much of who Kara is is shaped by fear: fear of the government, fear of humanity, fear of abandonment, and fear of herself. In her civilian life, Kara is, for the most part, unnoticeable. She's polite, soft-spoken, doesn't wear a lot of bold colors or styles, and is often a pushover. As shown by her encounter with Red Kryptonite, Kara would not dress or speak the same way to people without the pressure of hiding her identity (though much of her dialogue is purely the loss of her "don't be an asshole" filter, some of it is stuff she had every right to say before and just didn't). I have always found that episode to be very interesting purely for the fact that Kara doesn't actually seem to be seeking harm on others so much as seeking their attention. Her argument with Alex is almost entirely about how much she hates having to hide and pretend to be less than she is. Kara drops Cat off the balcony and then catches her. She attacks the police when they point weapons at her but doesn't kill or even hurt them that badly, instead of destroying the car they're using as shelter. Red-K removed her inhibitions, made her angrier, yes, but if her goal was to actually hurt people, she could have done so-- would have done so, and with great ease. She goes to a public bar and uses super strength to smash bottles by flicking peanuts. Why do that at a crowded bar? Why not just flick potato chips at the windows in her own apartment?
This is Kara at her absolute worst-- but does she seek out the DEO agents who shot her out of the sky? Does she go after Maxwell Lord or Non? No. She tries to make people pay attention to her. Her most shameful and hideous desire is for people to give her respect. (Admittedly, respect gained through fear, but still.). Kara's a nice person-- much, much nicer than average-- but a lot of that "nice" is just her avoiding conflict to avoid attention.
Kara is a good person. Kara inspires people. But that is because Kara gets up every day and chooses to be good and to inspire. It's one of the reasons I enjoy Non as a villain so much-- he and Astra are Kara's narrative foils. They also remember Krypton and grieve its loss. They also were trapped in the Phantom Zone. But where Kara had the Danvers to convince her that some good people existed and would risk themselves just to help others, Non and Astra had Alura sentencing them to eternal suffering rather than helping them save their planet (through the means they thought necessary) and then landed on Earth and found it headed on the same path as the planet they'd just lost. Kara had people to help her grieve. Non and Astra were surrounded by misery. They lost hope. Kara discovered it.
Kara is the Paragon of Hope because she has been hopeless. Because she has suffered so much, seen so much, and because she chooses to believe in a better future. She didn't have hope her first time in the Phantom Zone. She didn't even have hope for a while on earth. From what we can gather, Kara's choice to start actually believing in the future was a gradual shift that occurred sometime after Kenny's death and has lasted her ever since. For Kara, hope is learned. She chose to hope and she won't let it go, and to assign that incredible victory off to her being a God is an insult to her growth and to her character.
Now I personally thought “The Faithful” handled this concept very well. 3x04 is one of my favorite episodes of television in general, let alone in Supergirl. Season 3 is my second favorite season, and that says a lot for its good episodes when the bad of season 3 is so, so very bad (To say nothing of the episode to episode production value, we have the waste of Argo, Mon El’s return as obviously he’s grown he has a beard Mon El, and whatever the hell was going on with Kryptonian genetic engineering eclipse causing witches). To this day I don’t know why Kara had magic dreams. The show did nothing to explain it and I can’t imagine up a reason.
But “The Faithful” works because it highlights the whole paragon part of who Kara is. When you realize that every person in the room of Coville’s cult is a person she has personally saved-- that hits hard. Especially since only a fraction of the people she’s saved would ever set foot inside that building with the totally not-creepy, entirely wholesome way they deliver the invitations. (“Your daughter is special. She has been chosen. As have you.”) It works because it focuses on how the average human must view Kara, the ones who don’t see her argue with her sister over potstickers and crush her phone when she gets mad. It works because of how desperately hard Kara tries to be a human. It works because the writers know that we, the audience, do not see Kara as anything but a regular person with irregular abilities: a kind and remarkably devoted person, but not a god.

You comparing Kirito to Robert Pattinson is extremely funny but it also brings up the line of thought; what if Kirito ALSO just lied in interviews and so did Asuna
this is one of the randomest things i've ever written, i don't know why but i literally couldn't let go of this idea so skdjfhjksdhf
Kirito shifted uncomfortably in his seat, eyes wandering to everything but the ever-inquisitive group of friends standing in front of him. Curse them for making him add them to his friends' list, if he hadn't done that, they wouldn't have tracked him down on the map.
They wouldn't have noticed he'd spent the night at Asuna's.
"Details!" Klein grabbed his gloved hands, pleading, "What happened? I thought you two hated each other! Now we hear the two of you are... Are... Well, you're... What are you two doing exactly?"
Kirito shook his hands free from the older man's grasp, "She discovered a glitch that replicated an item and she thought I might like to use it for my dual wielding, that's all."
Lisbeth seemed unconvinced, "So why'd you spend all night there, hm?"
"If there's a glitch like that, surely she would've told me about it..." Agil scratched his chin thoughtfully and Kirito shrugged, trying desperately to play it casually. Oh, Asuna was going to kill him.
"Uh, it didn't work," he waved his hand dismissively, trying to turn for the door, "She felt bad for calling me out over nothing so she made dinner and I rested there for the night. I've been levelling in dungeons late at night so I was tired. Nothing more to it than that."
There was so much more to it than that.
It was only so long before Argo caught wind of it - rumours fly fast in Aincrad, apparently, especially when it concerns two of the most infamous players in the game.
Kirito was caught off-guard by the info broker as she made her morning rounds through the floor. Before he could even say hello, she'd already whipped out a notepad and forced him into a seat at a cafe.
"Kii-boy, confirm or deny the rumours." She looked to him expectantly.
"What rumours are you talking about?" He asked.
Her eyes seemingly glimmered ominously, "You know the ones. About you and The Flash getting cosy at her place on the sixty-first floor? That's not ringing any bells?"
"N-no, of course not!" He threw his hands in the air, "There was nothing cosy about it! She just... wanted to show me a glitch she found, that's all."
"What kind of glitch?"
"It didn't work anyway, so..." Kirito scratched the back of his neck.
A tell.
"Come on, Kii-boy, tell the truth. I'll tell you all the info I have about the seventy-fifth-floor boss if you do!"
Kirito gulped, then sighed, then dropped his head low to speak in confidentiality, "If you absolutely have to know, you need to swear you won't sell this information for at least a week from today. For our privacy."
Argo nodded enthusiastically and Kirito could see her entire face light up with equal parts excitement and mischief. Kirito leant forward so nobody else would be able to hear.
"It's about the real world, which is why you can't tell anyone. Asuna has reason to suspect that in the real world, she was romantically involved with someone else in the guild, I really shouldn't say who-"
"Tell me!"
"Ah, it's not important, really. Besides, that's Asuna's business, not mine."
"Romantically involved..." Argo wrote down notes furiously until Kirito feared the pencil might run out of durability, "What about you, then, Kii-boy? Where do you fit into all of this? A love triangle, perhaps?"
"Nothing of the sort. I was only there because... Well, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to tell you now..." he shot her a glance, "There's a setting, deep in your menu, I wouldn't know how to find it myself, but it grants the player the ability to-"
"I already know about that," Argo sighed in exasperation, "Some players found that just a few weeks into the game."
"They did?" Kirito tried not to look shocked. All this time, the Ethics Code had been right there without him knowing? How long had Asuna known about it? How had Asuna known about it - she certainly didn't seem like the kind to associate with the kinds of players who would make use of that sort of information.
"The max skill level menu?" Argo shrugged lightly, "It seems like it's part of the admin menu that somehow glitched into the regular player menu around the same time the logout button disappeared on launch day. A few players used it on the lower floors, but it's glitchy as hell and the skills reset to zero if you misuse a sword skill. It totally sucks."
Kirito nodded his head, blush creeping down his neck, embarrassment mixing with cluelessness, "Right, right. I think Asuna said something like that. Of course, I'd never use it, but... Certain other players might be. Some people moved through the ranks suspiciously effortlessly these last few weeks. I can't name names, of course."
"I think I know who you might be talkin' about..." Argo flipped through her notepad to a list of names, "Thanks for the help today Kii-boy! I'll be off now!"
Argo practically leapt from the seat, breaking into a sprint across the cobblestone paths that lined the streets of the marketplace on this floor.
"H-hey! What about the info on the boss?" Kirito called.
Argo turned to him, skidding on her heels, "Kii-boy, this is my job and you're a terrible liar-" she scratched the back of her neck in a sarcastically over-exaggerated manner, "-Besides, The Flash told me everything about your little meetings anyway!"
"She did?" Kirito rose from his seat, running after the info broker faster than he'd ever moved in his entire life. Had Asuna really given away everything that easily? He thought she would've been more embarrassed and unwilling.
"I just asked her what the two of you got up to all alone in her room and the whole thing just came tumbling out of her. Honestly, I thought her avatar's head would start smoking from how fast she was rambling. With how red her poor face was too, yeesh..."
"Wait, Argo, stop, I can explain! She's lying, I swear! It wasn't like that! I'll explain everything!"
"What's there to explain?" Argo grinned at him, "She already told me you spent the night there trying on her equipment. You had trouble with the skirt because it's flagged for female avatars, but you figured out how to bypass it, right?"
Kirito stopped dead in his tracks. Asuna hadn't told Argo about... He shook his head to clear the thoughts. The whole game would think he liked wearing ladies' clothes, but at least they wouldn't think poorly of Asuna, or worse, start targeting him for stealing her away from her hordes of crazed fanboys. A small price to pay for their peace.
"There's no shame in it, Kii-boy, skirts are fun sometimes. You'll have to show me how that glitch works, the female armour in this game is dreadful."
With that, she was off, teleporting away before Kirito could ask any questions.

Imagine (Son of Hades! Percy; Godswapped! Big Three's kids) Mark of Athena Pt. 2 AU (4/7) or (9/12)
So yeah it got... big. I wasn't expecting it - but sure! Here it comes part 2 of 3 of 5! Check the masterpost before reading - it's essential for the understanding. And read the warnings before proceeding. Enjoy and leave reviews and suggestions :))
Hazel, Leo, Frank, and Perseus go back to the Argo II, to find Piper trying to wrangle the Cornucopia into not just dropping mountains of food.
Perseus tries to help - and between him and Jason, who is the son of a fertility god after all - they manage to get a picnic - which, great because it's already evening and they're all hungry teenagers.
That's when they discover that's Jason's birthday - the 23 of July, coincidentally, Neptunalia - and begin to swarm him. It's shocking that he never had a birthday party - or birthday cake. The Romans don't care about it - their prowess in the training fields is what marks them as children or men.
Perseus - who was kidnapped in mid-November, months after his birthday - is internally shocked - but can do nothing about it.
He doesn't think he could give anything useful to Jason in such short notice - so Perseus promises to, after this all ends, take him to see something new - perhaps Cairo? He is sure Carter would be happy to see him.
Ah, yes. The Kanes - one of his only adventures in between those two big prophecies. He went - with Nico of all people - to help the Egyptian sorcerers - and almost ended up possessed by Sadie's god boyfriend's mother. Overall, a bizarre experience.
And he never wants to share a body with Neftis again. It's weird, it's bizarre, he doesn't like it, he gets body disphoria - no.
Even though the Egyptian Underworld is really cool - there are a lot of snakes down there. And a lot of space - which is weird, because Hades also takes a lot of space. Are these hells in different dimensions?
That's not even counting the time he and Thalia mind-wiped a Titan - with Lethe's water of all things. He left Bob/Iapetus under Persephone's care - and then promptly disappeared. Not literally - Perseus just had no time for the titan, and it's something he regrets deeply.
Maybe after this all ends, he can go visit Bob and the Kanes. Maybe it's time the pantheons are no longer apart.
Perseus knows that all pantheons eventually cross - Isis is as Greek as she is Egyptian - but they don't talk about it. They pretend their Isis and the greek one are different - while the goddess has so many aspects she might as well be a thousand different deities.
Is there a Hindi pantheon? A Polynesian one? Is Amaterasu real? The Orixás? Quetzalcóatl? The Nordics? Are the Celtics aspects of the Norse? What about the Welsh? How many Underworlds exist? If any worshiped god appears - does God with a capital G exists? Perseus is going to find out. But now he has more pressing issues right now.
Leo doesn't want to discuss Nemesis, but, after singing happy birthday to a very embarrassed Jason (who is probably pondering the implications of Perseus' offer - Leo is pretty sure the guy isn't asking his bestie in a date, but who is he to shatter his buddy's delusions?), Perseus corners him.
He doesn't know what to do about the price - he isn't sure of much. Perseus promises that nothing will harm him under his watch. It's weird - Nobody ever cared about Leo before. Perseus hugs him - the first time he starts a hug himself - and Leo feels like, maybe, that's what having a family feels like.
He wonders if Charles Beckendorf was for Perseus what Perseus is trying to be for him - he wonders if Percy is doing this out of guilt. Leo can't complain - the arms feel warm around him.
Percy and he return to the party, to see Piper in a panic. She asked Katoptris for a way to Nico - under Hazel's prompting - and it showed her a vision of Nova Roma organizing the army to invade Camp Half-Blood - Reyna is stalling them, but not for long. She prays for Perseus to come back - she can't do this with no allies.
The reason for it is apparently the abduction and coercion of two of their praetors, their General and a Centurion - enough to start a war. Perseus could shadow travel back - but it would take at least a week to come and go - and they do not have a week. Any Iris Messaging would be useless - they would think he controlled by Piper.
So they go to sleep, hands tied. Doesn't Octavian see they have bigger fish to fry? Lady Terra, Gaea, is out there - planning to destroy everything. He might as well be on league with her.
Perseus sleeps and has another one of his prophetic dreams. It's a giant - one he doesn't recognize - explaining to Ephialtes why do they need Perseus.
Apparently, to wake up Gaea, they need a mortal son of the Earth and a mortal daughter of the Sea. Daughters of the sea are easy to find - all children of Aphrodite are technically from the sea - but children of the Earth can only be children of Hades or Pluto.
And she tried other options - they tried to sacrifice a son of Demeter and a daughter of Venus Victrix - but it wasn't enough. The power in their blood was too diluted, their connection to life only enough to give Gaea this bare level of awareness that she uses to torture them. To wake up completely, she would need Perseus' blood - Perseus' and Piper's - the strongest daughter of Aphrodite alive.
Gaea voice taunts him from somewhere, telling him to not worry - she took the girl who loves him forever, that Annabeth and Malcolm will no longer be a problem.
The vision changes and shows a spiral staircase near the forum, and Perseus can hear their voices screaming - but he knows there's the place they need to go if they want to find Nico. He is not scared - he went through worse. Perseus has no time to dwell in Gaea's taunts - it's probably just her messing with his mind again.
He wakes up and tells his dreams to Jason. They decide they should go - and take Piper and Hazel - the more involved with this side quest of theirs - with them.
Jason goes first - he breathes underwater, and looking at the giant well, Perseus is almost regretting coming. When he comes back, he tells them he had found something, which turns out to be a Nymphaeum.
The nymph Hagno - who Perseus mentally calls old Hag - and others - the nine nymphs that watched over Zeus with Gaea when he was born - appear and flood the chamber with evil water - they say it's payment - the gods' own them. Perseus can see where Zeus' entitlement comes from.
He starts to panic - he shouldn't have come. He hates water - he is going to drown here, under this muddy water that looks way to much like the muskeg for his liking. Hazel is trying to calm him - with no success because she starts panicking too - she is a child of the sky, after all.
The nymphs begin to drain the three of their power, stealing Jason's control over water, Perseus' control over the earth, Hazel's control over electricity, and Piper's beauty in order to be young again.
Perseus is so tired that he keeps paying for the gods' debts, that he keeps giving and repairing their mistakes - that these people keep throwing their grudges unto them. He just wants to let go - die, finally, but they will just throw their problems to new innocent people.
Because Perseus is innocent. They all are - they are children! This can't keep happening, the gods can't keep throwing their shit onto them! And there's no stopping it - he thought last time he solved everything, but alas, he can't solve every little squabble the gods start.
He helped the demigods and minor gods. And then there are nymphs, dryads, satyrs, fauns, centaurs, spirits, personifications, titans, children of titans, primordials, rivers, monsters. An array of immortal beings who would keep on asking, keep on holding eternal grudges that demigods would pay for.
There is no number of wishes that could ever solve this. They would have to reform the whole Olympus - to be the ones making the decisions. To be the ones to stop sending twelve-year-olds in harrowing death missions.
Maybe, this time, Perseus should become a god. Maybe if he is the one judging, he might be able to help. He might be able to stop the gods from doing stupid decisions that only prejudice their kids.
But what if he can't? What if he becomes one of them? Is he prepared to lose everyone he cares about? He was always a loner - but is he able to leave everyone behind? His friends? His mother?
While Perseus wallows in his own panic and misery, Piper comes up with the idea to funnel all their positive thoughts into the Cornucopia, which releases the positive emotions as clean water. It's lucky they have Hazel and Jason - because Perseus is in a very dark place right now.
As the three release almost all their power into the Cornucopia, the nymphs become young again and spare them, as the power they gave them as a gift, and they restore the four back to full strength, as well as telling them the location of Otis and Ephialtes.
Perseus doesn't take this as an apology. He doesn't think it's enough - the nymphs tortured them for their own sake and act as if it's a favor that they restored them - and he has a grudge.
They took from them - and didn't give anything back. A little bit of information and the powers that are already theirs? The hags steal their powers and give them back - and think this is mercy?
Perseus is going to show them what mercy is like. As soon as they are out of the Nymphaeum, the earth trembles - he makes the whole thing collapse into an opening in the earth. He is sending all of them directly to Hades - they took from him and had the gall to tell him to be grateful.
The others in his group look at him worriedly, like he is going to kill them next. Perseus is okay with that - it's not the first time someone hates him because of what he can do. He tells himself it doesn't hurt.
It's a lie.
They go back to the ship. The sun is rising - Hazel gives the others the bare bones of the story, leaving out the part where Perseus freaked out and killed ten nymphs out of rage.
No one asks why they are so tense - why Perseus stormed to the training arena and didn't left since, why Jason doesn't make eye contact with anyone else, why Piper went to her room in silence.
Jason goes to talk with Perseus later - Percy doesn't want to talk. They spar twice before the son of Hades' relents and cries - he didn't want to kill anyone, he just wanted someone to pay.
Jason tells him no one hates him. That those nymphs were monsters - empty platitudes. Perseus says how much he hates drowning - Jason shares how much darkness scares him sometimes.
Piper comes in halfway and lays down on the floor with them, and shares how it's still hard for her to feel like herself - to look at her body and see a girl. How she hopes one day to have the right parts, to be able to wear what she likes and don't feel like a boy.
Leo is the next to wander in - "Are we sharing traumatic life stories?" - and tells them how much he still feels dumb, inferior to those around him - the way his fire always damned him. Frank comes next - him and the peril of ever dying, the crippling anxiety of a piece of wood.
Will is the last to join in. Will tells them about being the responsible one - how it was hard when Lee lost his arm, when Michael died and he was only thirteen.
He tells them how Lee got depression after Michael died and the one-armed boy couldn't help, couldn't save his brother. Will tells them about how he fears for his twelve siblings - how he is the youngest acting counselor because his only older brother doesn't leave his bed anymore.
They just lay there on the floor, together. Until Hazel appears - she had a vision. Nico has no more time. They thought they had some hours more to mindstorm - but alas, it's time.
Not everyone can go - it's a rescue mission, a stealth one at that. And Leo needs time to steer the ship towards the giants. So Perseus, Jason, and Hazel go after her little brother - and Frank, Leo, Piper, and Will will meet them there.
The trio finds the cage - suspended meters over the air. Hazel uses her powers over energy to bring it down - the metal is so overcharged that is simple for her, while Jason battle the two giant eagles with a mini hurricane.
Hazel frees her brother - who is barely breathing - and it seems too easy. The giants appear - and while they cannot kill Perseus, their onslaught against the other two is immediate.
Perseus fights against Ephialtes while Jason battles Otis. Hazel stands guard over her frère's prone body - no one is taking any more family from her.
It's a sight to go down in the myths - Jason is fighting with his sword - Undisonos - against Otis. His chest keeps emitting a sound - the siren song - which keeps distracting the giant, while they strike against one another.
Perseus is not doing worse - stone spikes appear every time Ephialtes tries to stab him - shadows curl around the giant's throat, strangling it.
Ephialtes taunts Perseus - says Annabeth and Malcolm are already lost, already gone. That this is his legacy - causing the death of his friends. It only serves to push him further.
In the midst of the battle, a hydra appears - and Perseus has no qualms in spearing each of its heads with a stone spike, before burning them with hellish fire, draining his powers to kill Ephialtes before the giant destroys him.
Hazel gets caught in the earth trembling - and passes out by Nico, who has no forces to defend her. It's Jason who ends up defending both of them, after a well-localized jab into Otis sternum.
It's not enough - they start to reform immediately, seeing the lack of a god's help. Perseus - who is sustaining himself into the wall and can feel at least four broken ribs and a twisted ankle - rages. He doesn't stop when Dionysus appears.
Dionysus is not Bacchus - he isn't a mindless drunk. But he is a selfish bastard - and says he will only help if they entertain him enough.
Perseus wants to scream, didn't they entertain the gods enough?! Didn't he die enough for them, for their cushioned, easy lives?! Didn't he do enough?! He lost all his teenage years - his whole life - to keep their asses safe, from Hyperion, Kronos, mythical monsters, his own friends.
Jason and Perseus agree to fight together this time and charge the two - both of them at the same time, both equally about to drop down - but rage fuel both of them.
Perseus is drawing strength from the earth below - the same earth that reforms the giants again and again - while Jason pulls force from the river behind them.
Jason blasts the giants with a wave that can only be compared to a small tsunami causing the fake mountain the two were holding to fall on Ephialtes.
Otis charges the two and Perseus trembles the earth, throwing him into the lake, and the two slash at him - Perseus with his ax, Jason with his sword. Jason then uses the water to keep the dust from reforming.
It's like fighting with an extension of themselves - where Perseus fails to block, Jason appears - when Jason misses a step, Perseus is there to cover him. The earth starts to shake - stronger this time - and they know they are doing this together.
Ephialtes then escapes from the fake mountain and charges the two, but they are keeping up. It's difficult, however - Perseus is drained to the point of exhaustion, and Jason is only going because of the water behind him.
A misstep and Ephialtes almost takes Jason's head off. Perseus is only safe because Gaea needs him - for her sacrifice, for her everything.
But the Argo II appears overhead and blasts the giant with Greek Fire from the cannons. Leo is whooping from the balustrade with sunglasses perched at his nose - Perseus can faintly hear "Fireworks" from Katy Perry blasting from inside the ship, and wonders if he has already lost any of his remaining sanity.
Dionysus considers that the show was entertaining enough, and finishes both giants with his Thyrsus, claiming the victory to himself. Perseus resists the urge to punch him - he is getting way better at this.
Before he leaves, he confirms Ephialtes words - Annabeth and Malcolm will be lost to the weaver - and tells them where to find them.
Back on board, Nico - under the care of Will, who can barely touch the over-energized guy - tells them he was captured by the twin giants as he looked for the Doors of Death.
He tells them he never found the other side - for he could not go into Tartarus - but the earthly side - close to where he was captured - was in the House of Hades - heavily protected by monsters.
Perseus thinks that only he will be able to go into Tartarus - they have to close the Doors both ways, after all. But there's no returning - and no way for him to survive down there.
Will this be his legacy? Dying in an Underworld wasteland, alone? Nico looks at him and must catch what he is thinking, because when everybody leaves the infirmary, Nico holds his wrist.
"Don't do it, Percy-..." He coughs "Please don't do anything stupid. I can't lose you."
"How could I?" Perseus answers "You carrying all the stupid with you. How could you think it was okay to just-..."
"Promise me, Percy" Nico interrupts, as seriously as he can. "I know I did a lot, and you probably hate me..."
"I don't hate you, Di Angelo" Perseus sighs. "I promise you - you'll never lose me okay? I didn't come all this way to save your ass for nothing."
And he leaves, still uncertain. Is it worth it? Could they find a better way? Or does he need to die - over and over again? Were the Fates mad the first prophecy didn't take him?
Annabeth tricks Arachne - and is tricked back by her own hubris against her brother, who keeps telling her to shut up, taunting the already defeated monster - who ends up opening the hole into Tartarus.
They blast a hole into a parking lot - just in time to rescue the children of Athena, who partially already rescued themselves.
"Hey, Wise Girl"
"Hey, Corpse Breath"
Everyone works together to load the statue into the ship. This time, there's two children of Athena. This time, there are ten people in the ship. This time, Nico has never walked into Tartarus.
But in somethings, history never changes: Arachne attaches a thread to Annabeth's weak leg. She tries to bring the child of Athena to the pit with her. But Perseus - who is just behind her - is quicker.
Perseus uses the shadows - with the last of his reserves - to pull Annabeth back, cutting the thread linking her to the pit with his ax. Annabeth is safe - one of her hands holds to the ladder.
But Perseus is not.
He flickers - like a ghost. These were the last of his energies, and he topples backward, into the Pit. A hand holds on to him - Nico. He tries to fly them out - but he is still too weak.
It's time.
"It was always supposed to be that way, wasn't it?"
Nico holds on in despair - he can feel hands holding his calves, trying to push them back - But Perseus is muscular and tall, and there's no one to help.
"No, no, Percy, don't you dare to let go, don't you dare!"
It was always his destiny - the one who sacrifices himself for everyone else. Nico thinks that, if Perseus doesn't ask for his own peace this time, he might ask on his behalf.
"Someone needs to close it from the other side. I am the only one who can."
There's a smile upon his lips - resigned to his fate. There are tears on Nico's eyes. The hand slips.
"You promised!"
He can hear Annabeth screaming, trying to get to them. The floor is too slippery. Nico feels Perseus slipping - the boy flickers again, like a ghost.
"Di Angelo, please"
A figurine of Zeus. A pavilion full of spartoi. Grover telling him stories. A white cell in Olympus. Green eyes flashing black. An invincible demigod against a thousand monsters.
"No, no, I won't fail you, not again!"
A greek with no memories in a toga, a fist punching his face, the warmth of a hug, walking through ruins, his capture.
"Nico, let me go."
Nico's mistakes pilling up, adoration swelling in his chest like a thousand suns. Maybe that's what love feels like.
"No!"
The hand keeps slipping, the Pit pulling him in, and Perseus flickers again - his hand can barely hold on to his ax.
"I see you on the other side"
He falls.
Alone.
Silence. There's a scream caught on Nico's throat - he won't be able to recall the next minutes. Somehow he takes Annabeth back to the ship. He doesn't remember climbing the ladder.
He thinks he wants to jump after him - but restrains himself - it was not the time to play the martyr.
They ask about Perseus, but neither of them can speak - their voices are gone. The parking lot collapse.
Jason keeps asking - if Perseus has shadow travelled, if he called for Blackjack, if he got lost.
"He is gone"
Nico finally answers, because he can't take the questions anymore. They don't understand.
"Gone? Gone where?" Asks Leo, still confused.
"He fell" It's Annabeth, in shock, who replies "He... He fell in the Pit. To save me. Percy fell. He... he's gone. He is in the Pit. Oh, oh my gods Percy is in Tartarus. It's all my fault I can't - I can't, he is gone, gone!"
She starts crying copiously. Malcolm holds her - he is the only one able to do so. Jason falls onto his knees, lost to the world. Piper sits beside him in shock. Will goes overboard and vomits - he looks like he is about to pass out.
Frank supports Hazel as the girl starts crying, trying to breathe and finding no air. Leo sits - there's tears in his eyes, but a determined look in his face. He looks at Nico, as if prompting him.
"He asked us to meet him on the other side." It's everything he needs to say. No one stops crying - but everyone is startled into motion.
"Festus, raise the sails. We've got a brother to save."
They are going to the House of Hades.

Alright I went to Louisville Galaxycon and saw Travis and Clint twice, for their worldbuilding workshop and their Q&A. Here's some interesting stuff I learned (I didn't include stuff they talked about that's pretty common knowledge or they talked about on the last ttazz)
Graduation
Fitzroy was originally going to be a jock that was weak bc he no longer had a team, Travis told Griffin that that didn't really work for the world so they reframed it as him training to be a hero, was great academically and behaviorally, but had a problem no one had seen before and no one felt like dealing with. It specifically wasn't "barbarian fails bc he can't keep his rage in check," it was that no one was willing to deal with his magic so they shipped him off
Someone asked Travis to explain fitzroy's magic, so from the DM's mouth- he's a barbarian subtype with elemental magic which has a random effect while raging, which we haven't seen yet (path of the wild soul if you want to look it up and see what he can do) and he took a feat which gives him the ability to cast 3 cantrips of his choosing. What I thought was interesting was that Travis described Fitz's magic using the word "elemental" twice, even though that isn't specifically stated in the path of the wild soul entry
Travis knows Argo's secret and is very excited about it
Clint has a pirate fiction book he reads every night before they record to get into the headspace to play Argo, he told us the name but I forgot it
There is one small little concept that made the whole of graduation make sense to Travis and is what the arc will be about, and he only figured it out a few days before recording. Obviously he didn't tell us what it was
Originally it was going to start with everyone starting at age 11 and slowly killing the other kids off, but Justin didn't feel comfortable playing a game surrounded by kids dying
The accounting scene is already one of Travis' all time favorite taz scenes
The pegasus scene informed Travis on exactly how he was going to treat the firbolg
Also Travis referred to Justin's character exclusively as "the firbolg," which means "master firbolg" is solely a thing going on with the npcs in the game which I find hilarious. They just all decided to give him a dope title bc he deserves it, meanwhile no one will call Fitzroy "sir"
To Fitzroy, social threats are an extremely real and serious thing, like the Biggest thing to him (we were talking about what characters found threatening in the workshop, for context)
There's some big concept/idea that comes up in the next episode that travis almost let spill and had to quickly stop himself from saying it
Someone mentioned eating breakfast in their question in the workshop and Travis goofed on it for a second, then said "cereal world" suddenly, and Clint had to pick up the question bc Travis had to take a second to make a note of it in his phone
Travis started brainstorming graduation in March and they recorded the first episode in October, and his main job in that time was working on graduation
Before Buckminster was adapted for graduation he could not fight at all, if he got into a fight he would die, he poured everything into charisma and could talk his way out of any fight (even the big bad of the game he crit 20d his check and the big bad walked away from the fight)
Travis is really into psychology and how if you assign a label to someone they're going to act more like it (ie you tell a kid they're amazing and smart and talented and they become more like that, you tell a kid they're annoying and dumb and a problem they become more like that), and how that was a major contributor to play into hero/villain/sidekick/henchperson dynamics, you get assigned this arbitrary title of good/evil/subservient and you become like that to fit the role, and then the inevitable pushing against that mold
Travis is fully aware of his story being compared to harry potter and he doesn't care bc it's apt (people in a school arbitrarily divided into four groups and one of them is the Bad One), also he knows people describe it as "sky high meets Harry Potter meets my hero academia" and he actually finds that really flattering bc he thinks that sounds cool and like something he'd want to watch
On that note, Travis is a self-identified Slytherin and he's always upheld that the reason Slytherin is depicted in a bad light is bc Rowling decided she didn't like them, and he's always sympathized with the idea of a first year Slytherin working their ass off following the rules and doing their work and getting points, and Dumbledore rewards three idiots for breaking like every rule and pulls the trophy away from you. This was a big inspiration for graduation, of one group getting a bad rep and being portrayed as evil for literally no reason
Amnesty
Clint & Travis's favorite scene they've ever done together was Ned & Aubrey's final scene together
Aubrey and Dani do move in with each other at the end of amnesty
Balance
Travis' main emotion around taz is pride and he's most proud of the scene in stolen century with the spirits in the robots, bc they had to record it a second time bc it got way too dark and ended in a really grim way and about 20 min after they finished they all decided that they weren't happy with it, that it didn't fit the tone, he's really proud they didn't just leave it be and they took the second pass at it to make it right
I'm pretty sure he's talked about wanting to kill Magnus off at the beginning before but he mentioned that it was only at the end of petals to the metal he actually realized he wanted Magnus to live, bc Hurley had to sacrifice herself to save Magnus bc Magnus had been so reckless, that hit Travis really hard. Travis realized that Magnus' recklessness was getting people hurt and so Magnus did too, so Magnus become a bit more cautious and took up rogue training to try not to get anyone killed again
Dust
Dust wasn't designed to be anything more than a one off and the workload was completely unsustainable, the document of notes for dust was about 100 pages and only about 10% of it got used
The reason Travis loved it so much was bc it was a mystery and he found it really fun
Commitment
Clint would love to revisit commitment, but probably not in podcast form bc he didn't find himself really being in the moment as much bc of all the different things he had to keep track of, he'd like to see a comic adaptation/continuation if possible
It was based of a comic he wrote that never got published bc the company producing it failed (he still cashed his paycheck) so he reused it bc he still liked it a lot, it was about how America was founded as a monarchy instead of a democracy and what that changed in the usa's (united sovereignty of america's) history, and how people now were fighting to establish a democracy. Also there were cowboys and spaceships and other cool stuff he put in there bc he liked it
General adventure zone
The reason why they're are able to do romantic relationships w/o being weirded out by it (they joke about it but they don't actually care) is bc it's never done in an explicit or sexual way and since it's the decision the characters would make to pursue the relationship then that's the decision they make. He reframed it as it wouldn't be weird if a family were writing a script together and there was a romance and one person wrote lines for one character and the other wrote lines for the other. He did mention that two siblings playing characters in a relationship as actors on screen wouldn't be cool though
They sometimes get comments that some of the stuff they do is "fanservice," but they feel that they owe their success to their fans and they owe some to them
They are both aware of and proud that Justin is the best at character creation, Clint specifically really was talking about how Justin's strong suit is definitely character creation and characterization
General mcelroy stuff
They walked pretty close to me when they entered the stage room for the q&a and like… they're short, like shorter than you think
Travis referred to his unborn child as "baby dod" (I'm not 100% certain but I'm pretty sure) which I looked up and is a nickname for George, and given with their older kid being named Barbera and nicknamed BeBe and Travis talking before about how he and his wife like classic names with cool nicknames it makes sense
Travis had an earing in his right ear, I didn't get to see his left ear and I couldn't tell if it was an actual piercing or a fake, it looked really good though. Also his tinted glasses look a lot cooler irl than they do in pictures
Clint told the teenage mutant Ninja turtle story with the signatures that griffin told on mbmbam, but Clint remembered it as happening at King's Island, not Disney. This story was prompted by the question of the biggest lie he ever told his kids, and he only came clean about this a few months ago
Travis told a story about how he finished a videogame when he was younger and was so excited that he picked up a plastic knife, yelled "throwing knife!" threw it directly at Griffin who dodged it and it hit and shattered a window

What is one headcanon the majority of fandom has for each of your muses that you just can't get behind? All of em. Also who's your fav to play? //In which I lazily use my personal on my phone because you don't have anon turned on for the meme. r00d and I'm too lazy to pull up the app.
My favorite is definitely Alex. I love all of my muses to death but Alex was my favorite character from the moment I saw her onscreen, and her coming out arc just made me fall even more in love with her. I really identify a lot with Alex, so it meant a lot to me that that connection was sort of validated when she came out.
As for headcanons….
1. This isn’t a headcanon, but it’s the thing that bothers me the most, so I’m going to use this one for Alex: SHE WOULD NOT WANT KIDS. She’s talked before about feeling like she had the weight of the world because of her duty to Kara. It makes NO SENSE that she would willingly shoulder the burden of being a mother when she’s felt so trapped because she had to look after her sister. That’s fucking bullshit and I hate Queller so much for it. (Also like I said, I identify a lot with Alex and I don’t like kids at all, so.)
2. Astra: People talk about Astra having a choking kink (usually in regards to the GD ship) because of that one scene on the roof. And I get that it’s a joke and all, but I honestly can’t see Astra wanting to be rough with Alex in bed at all, at least not in a way that actually causes pain/any kind of harm. Alex and Astra have both had really hard lives and so I feel like they’d make sure to be as gentle as possible with each other because they’ve both suffered enough.
3. Lena: At the moment I can’t think of anything I disagree with for Lena. I’m sure there’s something, it’s just not coming to mind.
4. Kara: I don’t like fics where Kara calls Lena “Lee”. It just seems so out of character for her. She doesn’t have a nickname for anyone, not even Alex, and so I can’t imagine her having one for Lena.
5. Sam: I haven’t seen any Sam headcanons that I don’t like. I think it’s because she’s such a new character.
6. Lillian: Ho boy. Okay, so, most people agree that Lillian has been cruel to Lena, which, fine. That seems to be canon, so I can go with it. But I hate that a lot of people think she’s been physically abusive to Lena. I’ve even seen fics where Lillian sexually abused her too, and that really rubs me the wrong way. This is partially @aluraze‘s fault because she’s gotten me hooked on her version of Lillian, who is very different than in canon, but even without that, I don’t like that idea because I want Lillian and Lena to reconcile on the show. The last episode that Lillian was in made me think that Lillian really does love Lena, she just sucks at showing it. (That may be mostly due to Brenda’s acting, let’s be real.) I’m a sucker for mother/daughter relationships, and Lena deserves to have a mother who loves her. I also feel like Lillian has been written as very 2D thus far, which is a shame both for the character and for Brenda, and reducing her to the abusive parent stereotype just makes it worse.
I could literally talk about this for hours but in the interest of brevity I’ll stop.
7. Alura: A lot of people think that Alura was a bad person for some reason, and she’s not. She made some terrible decisions under awful circumstances, but that doesn’t make her bad. For fucks sake, if people can think mon el redeemed himself they can sure as fuck excuse Alura doing the wrong things for the right reasons. Alura made mistakes just like anyone, and we’ve seen that she regrets them and that she learned from them. And even if the whole Argo plot hadn’t happened and she was actually dead, she tried to save her world the best way she knew how.
Thank you for the ask!
