i love that canon nico's appearance is described as unnerving. percy says he has a glint in his eyes that makes you think he's either a genius or a madman. people comment about how his presence is eerie and how he just seems to show up, like a specter. his smile is said to be more unsettling than his scowl. pretty privilege nico is a fun hc but i just love the idea that he looks like some eldritch being at his worst and a sopping run-over black cat at his best.

something the percy jackson fandom isn’t accepting is nico getting better. everyone’s used to him being the emo little meow meow. he ain’t the fandom’s lil emo pout pout boy anymore. remember his 10 year old jumpy and excited self? he’s coming back to that. maybe not as much energy but he’s becoming more (un)serious, content and calm. he’s not angry, sad and emo anymore. in fact, he’s slightly annoyed by his emo boy title. my boy is becoming lightly happy again. he’s coming full circle and that’s beautiful. i’m sorry that some of you can’t accept change (i have a lot to say on with jason’s death).

[Scenario for all (except BWR) locations]

A small child comes and leans against them, then proceeds to fall asleep.

"Oh...? Hello starlet..." Sun said softly, carefully scooping the child into their arms. They then stood up, making sure they didn't disturb the child too much, hoping not to wake them. He walked over to the naptime supplies shelf and grabbed a blanket, and delicately wrapped a blanket around them.

Moon stared blankly at the child for a few moments. A child, willingly sleeping? A miracle. They refused to move from their spot, in fear of accidentally waking them.

"Oh...? Hello, little fellow..." Apollo awkwardly pat the child's head, unsure how to handle this situation. They were meant to entertain, not caretake, but he'd certainly try to make the kid happy.

Artemis wrapped an arm around the kid without a word.

"Oh? Oh- that's... a child. Hi little child." Astraeus laid down, wrapping their arms around the kid with care. "Rest well."
