Man, I need to be a lot better about tagging my answers for Tumblr newbie advice... otherwise I would say just click on that tag and there you are, and I don't have to repeat myself...
If you're "fresh off the boat" in joining Tumblr and just starting out, welcome! Here are a few things to remember:
Make sure you get yourself a new profile pic when you can, so people don't assume you're a bot when you start following blogs. It can be anything you like, as long as it's not the default Tumblr sphere and cone faces, or a scantily clad humans (usually female) making poses and selfies. :P
Whether you're new or a Tumblr veteran, we are all treated the same. No one knows other people's follower counts, it's not publically broadcasted like Twitter and Instagram, or Youtube subscribers or Facebook friends. Which means there's no need to put people on pedestals, or look down on others.
Don't be afraid of liking and reblogging posts. When you reblog things, you can say nothing, or you can write something relevant or clever in your post addition, hide your thoughts in the tags, or whisper to OP in the comment section.
This is an app / site where you can be yourself. Enjoy the things you like, express yourself how you want to. You might feel like you're screaming into the void for a while at first, but it's not that hard to find people who like the same things you like.
Try to keep your head on straight and your wits about you. They call it Tumblr because it's easy to tumble down the rabbit hole and wind up in strange, whimsical places where everyone is crazy and mad and don't make a lick of sense. If you're a little weird and wacky, you'll fit in nicely. If you're lost and questioning what people are talking about with their plinko horses and vanilla extract memes, be patient. You'll find out soon enough.
There, that should be enough to satisfy newcomers. If you're still wondering what to do, search for Tumblr advice elsewhere. I'm far from being a Tumblr expert. XD

ALL THE TIMES DUDE HAS BEEN SUGGESTED/ALLUDED TO NOT BE STRAIGHT!!!!!!!! Feel free to add or correct me if I get something wrong!
First I will start off with things RWS has said themselves and the most obvious example of Dude basically being confirmed to be NOT STRAIGHT. This is from the official Running with scissors Twitter!
And here is a post from the RWS tumblr where they reblogged a post and added this comment
Just in general if RWS or Destructive Creations comments under Nottemdude fanart it’s always more than likely them being positive about it. The RWS tumblr hasn’t been active in 7 years so it’s not just a ‘new’ thing also. I would post more pics of these times but there is a image limit to posts so unless someone wants me to show specific examples….😐 But anyways, they have alluded to adding Nottem to Postal under a piece of nottemdude fanart before if I’m remembering correctly. They also support Dude being shipped with Duke Nukem as well, having retweeted ship art of Duke/Nottem/Dude. Also there is fanart of Nottemdude and just other works where he’s seen being 🏳️🌈 or just wearing all kinds of different pride flags on their offical website on the fanart page. And if you take all of this as them being cool about it (fanart and ships) and not minding it and being a ‘good sport about it’ then okay. Sure. But to say that RWS doesn’t encourage or support it would be veryyyy odd.
Before I get into my list of a couple moments Dude is alluded to being bi, I wanna add that If you wanna get technical, the Postal Dude according to RWS can be ‘anything you want him to be’ so while he might not have a totally confirmed sexuality yet or hasn’t been seen being with a man, he is more than likely never gonna be confirmed as straight and if you headcanon Dude being anything other than bi then that’s fine but the baseline seems to be that he’s into both men and woman.
Anyways, here is some moments that come to mind for me.
————————————————————————•In postal 2, You are able to let him kiss another man at the kissing booth on Valentine’s Day
•Most of Dudes dialogue to the other Dude in Brain damage has a flirty tone to it. Dearie & handsome are words Dude uses to refer to the other him. (Which sure, you could say he’s just flirting with himself but be fr for a moment. You wouldn’t be like 🤨 if you heard a man irl calling a clone of himself ‘dearie’?? And the tone Dude uses to tell him not to go and to come back???)
•In postal 4, one of the first things you do is write a sign in hopes to find work. No matter what you choose to write Dude adds something along the lines about being willing to ‘do dirty work’ with men. HE SAYS TO MALE NPCS THAT THEY CAN TAKE HIM BACK TO THEIR PLACE!!! How much more obvious-
•His whole thing with the drag outfit in postal 4. He really didn’t have to wear that if he didn’t want to or really felt uncomfortable with it. Wearing drag doesn’t make someone a certain sexuality but I just wanted to add this part because some people still view Dude as this manly man or this guy who sticks to only stereotypically masculine things?? When he wears drag, makeup & high heels.
•In postal brain damaged, there is a place in his mind specially for Doomguy. And not just in a “ohhh hes so cool and manly 🤩” way..there is full on pictures of his bare ass in Dudes brain. Why would a straight man have a secret part in his brain saved for another man’s ass????
•In BD again, there is a scene where in Dudes dream, buff men are standing behind him set up in a meme reference, suggesting that Dude is about to have sex with them all. Here is the pic 🫡
(And would you look at that. He’s smiling!)
•Lots of d*ldo jokes in postal 4 and BD. A used one is seen on his floor in the opening cutscene for BD. (Again you can just say it’s for the laughs besides the used one but why would a straight man own that many?)
•Dude says “it’s like taking it up the bum” in BD…how would u know how that feels like sir? 🤨
•In postal 2, Postal 3 Dude uses a certain kinda…tone and way of taking sometimes with p2. For example the “Short tempered today, are we?” line. Im sorry but that is such a oddly flirty teasing way of talking to another man. Also p3 Dude felt the need to remind p2 that he wore ‘skin tight leather’ and maybe it would rejog his memory wearing it again.
•In postal 4, dude has a line saying something about how no one has it harder than a “white cis man”. What’s interesting to me is that he didn’t throw in that he’s straight too. You’d think he would do to the nature of that sentence.
•Postal 3 dude is oddly insecure about his masculinity and or is not confident in his sexuality. He’s worried about being seen as gay just for riding some kinda scooter and hopes none of his friends sees him like that. I dunno to me I feel like people perceive Dude as a ‘no fucks given’ kinda guy but he’s whining and complaining about riding some scooter.

i’m not gonna do any gig reports for now because last week still feels like a fever dream and i can’t really put my thoughts in an order that makes sense. but i just wanted to stop by to say how much i love the vibes and creativity of this fandom and how happy everyone was when it came to meeting and trading/giving out their creations while queueing for the gigs or even when they were over
in Munich, Milan and Padova i got to meet so many people from here. with some of them i chatted more and with some others less. but in any case it absolutely warmed my heart to finally see all those people i see on tumblr but like, in real life! i got to trade my stickers for bracelets/stickers/art/fan stuff, got to see everyone have a good laugh because of my stuff and also got to complement people for their crafts. and i'm telling you i really meant every single word because as i already mentioned, i love the creativity of this fandom 💕
last weekend i began my trip with pretty much nothing on me and now i'm back home with a bag full of bracelets, a folder full of art and a heart so full i wanna cry. i mean look at that:
1) idek where to begin with the tags of the artists, i’m still confusion but i’ll try to come back to this post again later with a clearer mind
2) “big juicy” bracelet you will always be famous @greensolsikke <3
this last week was a tiring experience with many ups and downs but at the same time it was probably the best week of my life so far
i'm getting especially emotional about it all because this whole frenzy concided with my birthday (on the 29th of March). this may sound cringe or what, but on the actual day of my birthday and when everything was over, i was sitting alone on my hotel bed in Milan and was thinking how this last year of my life started in the worst way possible and how it was only escallating towards the worst every single day. during my 26 i reached a new level of low, a bottom lower than the one i had reached when i was 20-21 (and that was a bad bad time). and yes, there were a few times when i was close to ending it all because it was too much. my 26 was pretty much like hell
but now i'm glad i didn't give up and pushed through all the struggles. because if i hadn't, i wouldn't be able to experience last week. i wouldn't be able to see some of my dearest friends again, to meet all the amazing people from here and from twitter, to see one of my favourite bands perform for three nights in-a-row and to listen to all my fave songs of theirs live and even cry my eyes out to some of them (Barve Oceana in Munich, Padam in Milan and Metulji in Padova really were an Experience). can safely say that my 26 ended with a bang and it was a very good one 😌
i'm feeling sad that this is over but at the same time i'm so warm inside and so happy that it happened. and i would do it all over again, especially if it meant meeting you all again or meeting even more of you from in here. i have never felt so welcome by people who technically only knew me as a tumblr user and i never thought this would happen, considering how awkward i am when it comes to interacting with people online and in real life
anyway i think i've talked too much and i'm slowly loosing my train of thought because the thoughts and emotions are so many right now. i just wanna thank each and every single one of you for making the past week so special and one of the best weeks of my life. i'm beyond gratefull 💖

Moxy's Part of The Lost Boys Megathread

Moxy's part of the 127 documentary dropped a bomb on the fandom and everything is crazy. Mods are regulating all updates to this megathread instead of clogging the home page with a bunch of posts about the same thing.
now for my thoughts :)
For those of you who don't know 127's documentary, The Lost Boys, dropped on Disney+ and Hulu for international viewers. Instead of a look into Moxy's childhood like the rest of the members, we got a look into Moxy's early days with 127. Specifically, Moxy reflected on the seemingly many times she wanted to quit because she didn't mesh with the group well.
One of the biggest unanswered questions within the fandom is what changed with Moxy and 127 during Regular promotions. Moxy went from being silent to the normal side of her we see today. The boys went from not knowing anything about Moxy (In meme worthy fashion) to actively sharing bits about their lives with her as TMI's
I think most czennies wrote this off as Moxy not being comfortable on camera but we all knew that was a lie when Moxy started doing press for comebacks both during and after Regular. She may be quiet but we all know her comedic timing is impeccable. She doesn't indulge in skinship much on camera but she messes around with the boys in bts videos.
I can't speak for everyone but for me. I've forgiven Taeyong and the boys for what's happened. All of this went down years ago. The members are all cool with each other and I don't think its up to us to judge and critique their relationships now when we wouldn't do it for others. Like members fight all the time not just in NCT but in other idol groups too. We hear about these fights that go on and nobody bats and eye. Now its revealed that a girl and a boy in the same group got into a fight and everyone's up in arms debating about whose wrong and whose not.
anyways that's all i have to say about it. Lets try and be a bit more civil here than things are on twitter.

SM was the one who plopped a girl in the middle of their freshly debuted boy group after ONE MINI ALBUM!! How else are those boys supposed to feel other than not good enough

~sigh~ Trying yet again to start posting here but daaaang I'm being reminded of why I stopped using it to begin with.
Like, culture issues aside (because by now I bet Twitter is even worse now than here was in 2016), I hate so much of how this site operates.
'Tags' as a thing, the way they work, is just. So non-functional and shitty imo, I hate being prompted to add them EVERY time I wanna just...repost a meme or fanart.
I spent a few minutes scrolling my timeline and saw ZERO posts about news, current event, etc. Makes me worried how in the FUCK I will get informed about news when Twitter inevitably collapses, 'cause it sure won't be from here or Facebook or IG...
Anyway. I guess at the least it's reassuring that this website is still FUNCTIONAL but part of me feels like I'll just be tempted to spend more time on discord or something? Hard to say. Twitter's death does feel ever more inevitable with each passing month, though...

STEDDIE HEADCANON (set nowadays because I say so):
- After a lot of talking, begging and insisting, Dustin got Steve into his Discord server.
- Robin was already there but she stays in her own chat, sharing some arts and sharing LGBT related posts from Instagram and Twitter. Even though it looks random, all the party members read it. Specially Will, Max, El and Mike.
- Chrissy, Nancy and Jonathan are also there but they just randomly pop up sometimes to get on, like, birthday calls and to share memes. Argyle shows up at 4:00am and types random shit because he's high.
- Max spends a lot of time with a bot, putting her favorite songs and showing them to Lucas and El. Even if they don't actually like it, they just mute the thing to themselves and talk about random stuff. (What don't they do for their girl).
- but anyways, going back to Steddie.
- Eddie stays on Discord a lot. He's probably on every community that shares his love for rpg, games, rock and horror movies. But he stays a lot of the time in Dustin's community.
- They play RPG on the app, with specific bots to mimic the rolls and what nots.
- Now... Steve? He doesn't know shit about how to use the app, so they all have to keep remembering him stuff and teaching him how to do the things. It's funny because he's embarrassed like an old lady.
- Eventually they all play a campaign, and Will is the DM because Eddie wants to play a character. The campaign is great and funny, pretty much all of the characters are queer. It's all fun and games.
- Eddie and Steve start flirting through their characters. For them it's just fun, because they are "acting", lol. And Eddie's tiefling bard starts flirting more and more with Steve's half-elf paladin. And the party is always doing memes about it until THEY ACTUALLY KISSED DURING THE CAMPAIGN.
- Robin, Dustin and the rest of the party got very like WTF THIS IS... WHAT?!???
- Meanwhile, Mike and Will, who got together by that very kind of situation are like "oh ok they really wanna change their spits".
And it goes from here to eventually everyone on the call to make Steddie happen. Is it going to? Who knows. (Robin and Chrissy know, they're always typing after on the private chats about how they get so gay sometimes).

might as well post this here as well since i made a post on twitter, i don’t care if you’re happy about what’s going on and celebrating cuz “rich ppl bad” yeah? but the moment you bring us poor folks into your comments and arguments i’m judging you very harshly.
because i know it’s for show, it’s for your “good points” to make yourself look or feel better about saying/doing something. you can just say these things without using us as a “reason” or to make yourself feel better for saying it. you can insult, meme on, say whatever about rich folk without using us for your gain.
cuz i know majority of ppl doing this are ppl who are living comfortably who love saying they support us but won’t actually lift a finger to help out their own neighbors because it’s “too much/negative” for them. their feelings matter more. ive seen it so many times it’s tiring.
anyways. angry post. i hate seeing things like this going around when ppl wanna talk money status things because people ALWAYS use us poor ppl as their talking points for their own gain or to boost themselves and it’s always so shitty to see.
ppl always wanna talk for us and say what’s “good” for us, you know what’s good for us? people like yourself actually donating and doing something instead of using us in your stupid comments/arguments/games.

Johnny blinked. He read over it again, rubbed his eyes, and read again.
"What the fuck?"
"You have to read everything," Doyoung said, giving his phone over.
Johnny glanced up at him, then over at Taeyong, who looked absolutely miserable. Johnny's own mind was going as slow as a snail trying to comprehend what was written on the screen. Even during the fourth time going over, it was still the same.
Taking a deep breath, he scrolled down.
'Twitter went wild when two idols posted an instagram update, but not for the usual reasons. On the xx.xx, Stray Kids' Seo Changbin posted a selfie of himself at the N Seoul Tower with the caption "Let's get a lock for our love". Stays, the Stray Kids fandom, thought nothing much of it, just another message for them from their favorite idol. An hour later NCT member Seo Young Ho aka Johnny, also posted a selfie of himself at the tower with the caption "I wanna get a lock with all my fans". Almost immediately, both nctzen and stays pointed out the similarity between the two posts. When user @taeyussy pointed out that it appears the two selfies were also taken in the same spot, it was only a matter of time for the rumors to start.'
Johnny tightened his hand around the phone as he dropped onto the nearest chair. He opened his mouth to say something, anything, but he only gaped like a fish. Dating Rumors? Because of a damn selfie? Johnny laughed, almost hysterical. He scrolled back to the selfie from Seo Changbin that was included in the article, alongside his own picture.
Fuck, they really did take a selfie in the same spot.

Thank YOU <33 This is a long ass story tbh... tw is only the mental issues that i had to deal with, but now I can handle them pretty well. I also has set no reblog for this ask because my friend is also using tumblr and I don't want her to see this. (no one will reblog anyway
I’m a George stan and lived with a Max stan, probably the biggest George anti for two years. I started watching F1 because of her, and thought we will be fine, because we were good friends and drivers can’t change this fact at all. I always gave her Max merch for her birthday or when I wanted to buy something for myself etc etc
We were all good and fun but on March she moved to Netherlands and won’t be back in the future I think, I have to stay here because my family are and it’s still the best option for me. I had a serious separation anxiety disorder and started crying everyday from a week before her move out day and it lasted around two weeks? I stayed in the apartment alone and tried my best to get my shit together, but on April I was laid off from my job. At that time I had no income and had to seek for jobs and also a cheaper apartment because I couldn’t afford the current one anymore. I even had to find a therapist.
I decided to go to Miami GP to relax myself a little, and you know that’s right after the George and Max argument😅 I didn’t talk about this with my friend because I thought that’s not a big deal and ppl think they're funny, until when I was on my way to the airport to Miami I saw her using some bad words (like really bad) to talk about George then blocked two of my F1 related accounts, and she didn’t want to talk to me about this at all. At first I was angry then it became self doubting, like what if she doesn’t even like me in the first place (because her other mutuals also post George sometimes), what if I was not a good friend and good roommate for her. I know I’m a mediocre person, acted like too needy to her, always making troubles when cooking, and she never liked my cat. My parents are divorced and will never have a happy and healthy family like hers. My friends said it’s not worth it because I do have other friends to hangout but it’s not that simple for me, it hurts more than when you suddenly thinking about your ex girlfriend at midnight and makes you wanna cry lmao
Then after June I am living with my friend in a new apartment and can at least earn some money, everything becomes better. At this time I started writing russtappen fic😁… At first it’s only for revenge, kind of? I know she's using AO3 as well and I do curious about her reaction when she saw it, would she read it or not. To write Max more in character, I searched a lot of contents about him (I was neutral about Max and never got to know him tbh, just followed the fellow merc fans for the anti rbr train before), found out that he’s somehow an interesting person. Then I am digging russtappen contents on tiktok and here, of course I saw all your drawing and edits, they are amazing!! <3 I still don’t think the Max that I wrote is in character, because it’s a gender reversed AU and russtappen in my fic are actually much more gentle and idealized than irl. Luckily I got more interacts than I thought, the fic is non-english but there’re ppl willing to translate it and wrote me comments, i appreciate!
Now I think my F1 opinions may be changed compare to the time I just started watching. Of course I’m still a George stan, but i don’t even consider myself as a merc fan by how George is being treated, and I am kinda tired for the hate toward Max only because he’s fast. At least he loves his cats much much more than Alex does. While continue finishing my fic, I am actually talking to my friend again. It’s me who usually start the conversations and her responds are not enthusiastic tbh, (we don’t talk about my fic, not even our daily life, just some memes like the logan sargeant update on twitter) I don’t know if this is toxic or unhealthy for me, I just realized that maybe I don’t care about her that much anymore and don’t care about how she feels about me. And that’s the end. wOW it is long and i hope no one will finish reading this. As a conclusion I will stay away from Libras for the rest of my life because they're heartless

Joel winning a tattoo contest: about a year (and more?) ago, an influencer on instagram was running a contest on her stories. the contest had to do with heavily tattooed guys of her choice and her followers had to vote for who they preferred. Joel made it to the last two and he won the “contest” and apparently some jewellery and a shit (i can’t remember)
Tommi eating mustard for a bet: there’s an old instagram story Joonas had posted from when BC were supporting Amaranthe (early 2020). caption says that Tommi had to eat 200g of mustard for a good amount of money 🥲
Olli following weed accounts: well that’s not very known in general but at some point a friend of mine was going through Olli’s following list on instagram to see if he’s following meme accounts and stuff. and she found out he was following at least 2 🌱 accounts lmao. anyway iirc she had tweeted that but only a few people remember it
Ronnie Radke: okay BC have said they like Falling In Reverse. but then we have Joel occasionally praising them and especially their frontman, who is known to be transphobic, rude towards fans, accused for domestic abuse and well, if you wanna see more you can check his twitter. to make matters worse for him, Joel once posted a story hinting that he’s separating the art from the artist, which is not very welcomed by a fanbase that consists of queer people who have seen Radke’s rage fits online
Joel/Archie beef: i think it was after esc 2021 when Archie Cruz said that BC is shit or something like that and as you can guess some people *looks at Joel’s direction* didn’t let this drop like that. Joel dragged him in a smart way on his ig stories without mentioning names and apparently that beef went on for a while
Sokea Kanava: it basically means Blind Channel in finnish. the drill here has to do with a promo video they shoot for their cover of Can’t Hold Us

marry me drama: right after esc 2021 again some fans ran a project. the project was to post stories in which they’d tag Joel writing “marry me? 💍” and they’d either hold a ring or edit the stories with ring stickers. the project was meant to be for fun (?) but since Joel was on a reposting spree at that time, he reposted many of the stories and many fans both on ig and twitter raised an eyebrow at this (i can see why because i did too). thing is that many of the girls in the stories were underage, which made it more cringe than it already was, even if Joel was absolutely not checking what he was reposting

Followed your art from back on Twitter (*waves* hiii, sorry for being obnoxious and replying in Italian occasionally on there), I was wondering, do you have a kind of... uh masterpost about your OCs? I feel like I always like the character designs but I feel bad for not necessarily knowing what you're referencing in your posts.
I vaguely remember some "lore" about a Tumblr person being really into your drug-using character, but I wouldn't be able to recognize him in a lineup, for example.

I had a oc masterlist in the past but I ended up deleting it because of how less relevant it became, since my interest/focus on OCS changes a lot depending on what i'm hyperfixating on (with few exceptions of evegreen characters like Aydee and Seven that are omnipresent in my mind), I created a NEW ONE with the relevant OCS/ projects i'm drawing the most of, and linked the tagged name on them, so you can just click on the names/projects you're interested in and use that, if it's more convenient and useful for you!
It's also now in the pinned post on my blog, so you can find it easily anytime you need it:
I tag every character and project pretty religiously so you're bound to find everything you want to see under the specific project/character tag name on here. As for the character with the drug addiction, that would be Seven, one of my oldest vampire ocs that I haven't drawn in a while but will always live in my head rent free as my most chaotic and feral creation. I have the most content/context/lore for old characters like him, actually, so it's a good character to start from if you wanna learn more about my characters stories!
Newer characters don't have as much lore as the old ones, but the vampire characters in particular (and also the FFXIV ones) have much more informations in their specific tags you can read and look at. I created Seven when I was 18 years old (almost 10 years ago, jesus christ!) and played A LOT of vampire roleplay games with my friends, so he has a lot of story bits/details you can read about in the tags! (and also memes and stupid sketches about him lol)
I'm really flattered and happy to hear you're interested more in reading about my ocs, it really means the most to me and it's so cool to know you wanna know more!!! I generally recommend people to browse the tags and get a -VIBE- of the character and read in snippets here and there to learn more of their story, because i'm pretty bad at summing up their stories on the spot like this, but feel free to send me an ask if you have more specific questions about them you want me to answer! I always appreciate when people wanna know more about my characters and I enjoy replying to answers and writing down more about them, it just helps me more when people ask me more specific questions instead of me havin to sum up their whole story and personality, cause I'm horrible at doing that on the spot HAHA
