I love you lifelong vaginal atrophy
i love you topical estrogen that treats atrophy and doesn’t interfere with testosterone at all. i love you modern medicine that makes safe and harmless transitions possible. i love you health professionals who explained the risks of taking testosterone to me calmly and told me exactly how we would respond to each one if they ever became an issue because they’re not scary or unmanageable if you have good, competent people on your side.
i hate you terf rhetoric that completely ignores the actual reality of testosterone hrt in favor of portraying it as poison. i hate you transphobes who try to make me scared of the medication that gave me my life back.

Trans man: I'm a lesbian.
Queer people: That's against the definition of lesbianism and you're forcing lesbians to be attracted to men. Why can't you just be a straight man?
Trans man: I'm a straight man.
Queer people: You are now personally responsible for all of misogyny and homophobia. Also you're a predator and a traitor to lesbianism and you don't belong in our community.

I've seen people who I'd otherwise known to think of themselves as kind understanding people, come out strong against transandrophobia without much of a thought. And it's like, listen. You know, even if you have legitimate reasons to think that our understanding of theory is wrong, or have various other concerns about it, you have to recognize how what you're saying is coming off like to the trans people who are genuinely talking about their own pain. "You can't use 'transandrophobia' because it has 'androphobia' in it!", "'transmisandry! Misandry doesn't exist!'" and it's like, hey, even if you don't like these words, maybe look inside yourself and wonder why a group of men who've been violently locked out of their manhood for most of their lives, would possibly react badly to the idea that a word about them has to be sanitized from all masculine connotation. "PLEASE go outside and learn what a real problem is 😭", isn't exactly going to hit right when the tag is full of people's experiences with rape and abuse. "This is just like a MAN to do, why are all the trans guys becoming MRAs 😭" is honestly part of why this discussion is being had in the first place. People have explained again and again that believing trans men are somehow more predisposed to being misogynistic is transphobic, and conflating us with cis men is wrong too. "It's transmisogynistic and talking over trans women," this is simply bad faith, period. And, while I'm sure there are plenty of transmisogynistic transmascs in general, transmisogyny tends to be shut down pretty quickly in these discussions. And maybe before spreading that around, think about what message that's sending to trans men (their pain isn't worth being acknowledged), and trans women for that matter (I'll use you as a tool to shut down other trans people). You know, shaming and bullying doesn't actually work on changing people's opinions and guiding them away from harmful beliefs, if that's what you truly think of us. What use is any of this cruelty? Just because you think we're trans people who deserve it and it feels good to hurt us? What are you accomplishing? Are you making an earnest attempt to change minds, or are you throwing a tantrum?

My fake feminist trait is that i hate female characters who're super smart and strong and 'ideal' if they're not weird and fun.I'm an autistic and genderqueer woman that grew up getting bullied for being a tomboy who didn't know how to mask and never even considered i could have autism despite blatantly having every single symptom because everyone told me i was 'too smart' and same goes for being trans because i was too 'pretty' so i find them completely unreatable and corny.Goofy girls and weird as fuck girls are my kinda blorbo because i can actually see myself in them and i'll take them anyday over 'no personality, extra high grades' chicks.Idc about mean girlgenius' who're always getting told how perfect they are, they'll be fine,i'm here for the women who would've defended me in school and hung out with me on the weekends to do dumbass shit

The mural, “Remembering Brandon Teena: Son, Brother, & Friend,” is one of 10 that stretch along buildings in East Lincoln. Advocates including Isabella Manhart of Omaha and Wes Staley, the artist, unveiled the mural Sept. 24. The titles in the mural — son, brother and friend — are the inverse of those on Teena’s gravestone. Staley, a nonbinary tattoo artist, described the mural as a product of 60 to 70 hours of drawing and painting that included blood, sweat, tears and sunburns. “And I’m still having a difficult time believing that this is something our community finally gets to call our own,” Staley wrote in an artist’s statement.

all this recent "discourse" on transgender twitter (if you can call it JUST discourse because from what i've seen, this runs extremely deep as in. over a decade) has shown me is: yall (general) can and will show more solidarity with cisgender women than transmascs. even if that cis woman is liking tweets calling us "cuntboys" and "ratcunts".
i just LOVE this community /s

Transmisogyny in the real world: Ongoing campaigns of effective genocide against trans people existing in public in just about every country on Earth
Transmisogyny if you spend all your time posting: This transmasc person made a bad tweet once and this is proof that transmasc people are essentially orcs who despise trans women, and who love getting misgendered, actually, because it makes trans women mad, and the fact that they push back when we harass them is proof they hate trans women since the most pressing issue for trans rights in 2024 is making sure internet famous trans women are never, ever criticized, no matter what they do, because they only way to keep trans people safe is a small group telling their followers to be paranoid of all other trans people and to trust only them for all information, clearly

im honestly really sick of people acting like trans men are basically the same as cis men. u really think trans men have societal power and are an oppressive class over trans and cis women?? u think we have male privilege just because we’re trans men?? yeah. definitely a thing. if we pass we automatically adopt all the privileges and power of a cis man forever and always. thats definitely the reality we live in.
trans men do not hold privilege over cis or trans women for being men. we have to fight daily for even a scrap of respect. passing and closeted people only experience privilege if they stay closeted.
like come the fuck on-- society doesnt give a shit if we’re men-- they see us as other. trans men, trans women, nonbinary people: we are all other. none of us are more accepted than the other. we are all “degenerates” in their eyes. sure, theres specific ways we might be treated, but the bottom line is: we’re gross we’re unnatural we’re dangerous we’re unwelcome. thats it.
it’s not misogynistic to say trans men face struggles because we are men who are trans. it’s not leaving out transfems, it’s not disregarding their experiences-- it actually may include them! point is, acting like trans men have societal power is really fucking stupid. its shitty and only erases our experiences.
infighting helps no one but the oppressors.

you're gonna detransition in 10 years.
so i get a whole decade of living happily in the body i’m creating for myself now, and then i get to go through the process of metamorphosis and rediscover the joy of chasing gender euphoria all over again? i’ll take it!
i know people like you only see detransitioners as rhetorical tools to use against trans people, but the truth is that detransition is just another kind of transition. why would i be any more afraid of that one than i am of the one i’m in right now? if i was afraid of transitioning, of taking matters into my own hands when the body i have doesn’t feel like home anymore, i wouldn’t have transitioned in the first place. i’m where i am because i truly love this process, because it brings joy into my life, not because i fear it. being human means a life of constant change; none of us are the same people we were ten years ago. i for one won’t run from that change — i intend to greet the person i’m becoming with open arms, however different they might be from who i am now, and i’m sure that whoever they are, they wouldn’t want me to make my life miserable now just so theirs might be a little bit easier.
one of the greatest joys in life is that all of us are capable of change, and capable of enacting that change upon ourselves. i’ve been lucky enough to remold and remake myself once and, should i find myself faced with the opportunity to do so again, i’ll embrace that as the gift it is. there is no greater honor than to be reborn by your own hand.

The 'It's me,i'm freaks' and the 'the freak tumblr warned you about' meme piss me off because.Guys, nobody who said or says 'freaks' was or is talking about queer people or disabled people or poc or ANY minority or even just 'cringe' people like furries,it was about fucking ped0philes and incesters and it was started by minors who were largely already abuse victims.'Freak' means 'child abuser',not 'queer person with kinks' or 'neurodivergent/mentally ill person who's symptoms aren't palpable for ableds' and i don't think most of you guys didn't actually not know that and that's supremely gross to kids on your parts,it's dismissive at best and mocking them for being scared of a very real danger to them at worst
