So I'm totally gonna work on that request, but in the meantime, let me just answer this last question you have at the end here.

I have OCD

I've been playing this game almost 2 years and have logged in every. single. day. I don't have a choice. I have a problem and games like these are a massive trap for me, which is why I'm only allowed to have 1-2 on my phone at a time.

HOWEVER!

I'm not as decked out as you think I am. I just pick a card and focus all my resources until it's maxed. All my other cards are lucky if they even get a guest room sticker.

But STICK TO YOUR HISTORY LESSONS! It makes it a little more bearable if you use the star shards to fill your LP and loop 30 lessons at a time instead of 10 (see top red circle on pic below.)

ALSO USE YOUR ITEMS (bottom red circle). The leaping macarons and lucky cupcakes are best to level faster. Use the middle limelight waffles for leveling one specific card faster.

But if you stick to the history lessons, you'll also get blooming honey, which is the instant way to level up. And it's totally more cost effective to earn them through history lessons.

ALSO now we've got the new special lessons which are extra level exp. AND the lesson skips too. So take advantage of those!

Aside from that, if you're struggling, find a good friend card you can rely on. You're welcome to add me. Azul is a great defense/healer, especially if you add Riddle. And I'll probably never change him out so he'll always be there if you need him.

TLDR:

Do history lessons

Use star shards to increase LP (up to 30)

Use leaping macarons and lucky cupcakes for more exp (make sure item usage on when looping lessons)

Donnie does have some neurological symptoms post-technodrome, which his family was, of course, highly concerned about when he first disappeared... but at least so far, none of them have reared their head while he's been at the lake... they're not sure if they is due to the magick, or if it's just good luck... his outfit means that his scars are kind of on constant display for his brothers, which is... great! But Swanatello himself isn't usually aware of them.

This probably a gross ask but since we know that the gang ate the bodies of previous employees and can drink liquids. How does their digestive system work? Does it not produce waste products? (ie fecal matter)

Its certainly a gross and uncomfortable ask, but kinda neccesary to answer since we're talking about all the experiment process, so gonna do it.

But with a warning just in case.

Let make a point first: Play.Co wouldn't care less about the comfort or needs of the toys.

For them, the toys were just breathing tools that need occasional fedding (points in occasional), so the scientist were never instructed to make a comfortable organism, just a functional one.

And for them, a basically fursuit for child entretainment shouldn't have a butthole, just for the same reason they shouldn't have reproductive organs; is innapropiate.

in here the scientists had to put their foot down, not 'cause they care about the toys's wellbeing, 'cause they were okay with not giving them genitalia, but they wanted their experiments to be able to survive, and for that they needed a full digestive system, incluying a way out.

After the own Doctor had to put his words in the matter, the ejecutives accept it, but it had to be well hide and include in the indoctrination process a way to teach the toys to never talk about said part in them ('cause is bad to teach the children that all living things need to go potty, right?).

So, had you see those bags that had a zip hide behind a piece of extra cloth you need to put up to open the zip? That how it hide in the plush toys (like the gang and huggy or missy) while the plastic toys have a literal bin behind that only they can open when need it.

in any case, their waste isn't like ours, since their stomach acid is much more stronger that normal one (a side effect of the poppy flower, did you know that shit is toxic af?), so any food are extra disgested to the point that their waste is similar of crocadiles, you would think that in the floor is a piece of wall or a rock, but is not...

controversial opinion: lanky necro gideon is also hot but in a very different way. like a reckless wizard

reckless wizard is so Gideon, you are so correct. my headcanon is RD!Gideon would NOT be buff and also would NOT have any inherently signifigantly more powerful abilities vs a normally genius necromancer, but her gaiusblood WOULD prevent her from dying/automatically ressurect her if that does come to pass just like it (presumably) does in canon.

and so RD!Gideon is contactly overextending herself necromantically, bleeding out, going into hypovolemic shock etc, and then she just bounces back after passing out and convulsing for a bit. which of course results in her being able to push the envelope of necromancy signifigantly farther than anyone else. and at first the reverend parents et. al are extremely concerned about her but after like, 18 years of this they've sort of adjusted. Oh the necromantic heir is passed out in the library again. give her a blanket and she'll be fine in 3 hours, can someone help me get the blood out of these books.

and of course this means that when RD!Gideon arrives at Canaan house she's just. doing her normal thing, sweating, passing out, dying, reviving, etc, but no one at Canaan house has seen that happen before and theyre all like EXCUSE ME??? DO YOU NEED HELP??? CAN SOMEBODY HELP THE NINTH IS DYING OVER HERE!!!

it feels really hard to say but i think we're now addressing what happened in temple of mars- i don't think she likes being golb exactly, but now she doesn't know where to go and is going to figure it out like simon is

she spent so much of her life devoted to him and now that they have time to reflect on what went wrong there's not much of her left anymore.. the ending felt purposely vague towards this, where she backs up and begins glowing into what looks like a portal in a pose like she's about to sprint- the memory ends with her going to an unknown destination in GOLB's language so i can only guess she doesn't know either, and is not exactly happy yet either

i really desperately needed a season 2 man LMAO i know they're holding golbetty back because she's a good potential plot for future spinoffs if theyre ever granted any (and if not then rip, they did leave it to try), i liked the ending but it's disheartening how much betty gets shelved again and again

i'm mostly just glad they addressed how her behavior was unhealthy bc i've been waiting for her to move on from her obsesson since temple of mars/come along with me kinda shattered the perfect petrigrof illusion so this is the first step (i hope)

would u be able to describe how marishas body language as keyleth differs from e.g. laudna? like laudna does the creepy hands a lot and plays with her hair, what abt keyleth? (sorry i havent seen c1 but i love marisha and her roleplay style fascinates me🙏)

hmmmm i have a hard time putting it into words and it's been a minute since i last watched c1, i think there would be plenty of people out there better equipped to do this than me lol but i think it just comes down to the core tenets of each character and how that's reflected in the way they take up space in the world

keyleth is, esp early campaign, very jittery and anxious and naive about the world. she sits at the edge of her seat with wide eyes and a big smile, and she feels things to the extreme which often translates to big movements. but the movements often feel jittery too, like there's the slowness of awkwardness/hesitation combined with the high speed of anxiety, if that makes sense? she's also not particularly graceful a lot of the time, almost like she's got too much limb and she doesn't quite know what to do with it. i think she becomes a lot more fluid and settled late campaign, which is kinda cool bc her arc is literally about how she learns to take up space in the world with confidence and purpose, but the kind of open upright posture and awkward lanky movements are always there a little bit because that's just who she is

on the other hand laudna is more comfortable in her own skin and is quite intentional about the way she presents herself, which translates to more fluid and idiosyncratic gestures that are often flourished and sweeping. laudna and keyleth are both start-and-stop with their movement, but with keyleth it feels more like she doesn't know what she's going to do until she does it, whereas laudna's abrupt and exaggerated movements from stillness are often controlled and appear to be her preferred way of getting from position A to B, if that makes sense. also just in terms of Anxiety, laudna's translates more physically to pulling on her hair etc while keyleth doesn't necessarily change her physicality as much as she just talks and talks and talks dkfjsdf. and for completion's sake laudna also sits with a different posture from keyleth, often hunched over with her shoulders raised a bit. more closed off, ready to pounce (and scare u) sort of vibe

not that you asked but beau is also v different from keyleth and laudna which is to be expected! i obviously haven't made it super far in c2 yet but from what i've seen, beau's physicality is all about Stillness and confidence, which tracks with both her personality and her monk background. i think one of the anchoring postures for beau is definitely leaning back in the chair, arms crossed, chin up - a bit protective of herself but also aggressive in the way that she's non-verbally DARING you to do that shit. there's not a lot of extraneous movement with beau, just like there's not a lot of extraneous words spoken by her. she's also a fan of extremely direct eye contact, similarly unmoving like laudna's but a lot less creepy/unsettling and a lot more piercing into the center of your soul to carve the truth out of your chest sort of thing

anyway not sure if that explains anything at all for you but a lot of it is just the Vibes that she puts out so it's hard to explain for someone who isn't actually analyzing this stuff or well-practiced at putting it into words dkfjskdfs

Ted's desperate attempt to keep himself in check had backfired drastically. Paul had known from the moment he confronted him that he looked like he was going to have a breakdown... And that had been proven all but true when he'd returned from his lunch break early and heard sobbing coming from behind Ted's office door.

After a moment of hesitation, and a check to confirm that nobody was following him, he knocked on the office door carefully, not wanting to startle him too badly.

"Christ-" Ted's breath hitched when his train of thought was so violently interrupted, and he tried for a moment to pretend like that hadn't scared him shitless. He took a breath, trying for all it was worth to sound even slightly normal. "Wh-what?" He asked, not noticing the way his voice shook.

Hand rested up against the door, Paul sighed softly. "It's just me, Ted."

"... Paul?"

"Yeah. It's just me. Can I come in?"

If Paul was asking that, he probably knew what kind of state he was in. Hell, he'd probably heard most of it anyway, who knows how long he'd been at it?

The panic had caused a tremor in his hands. In some kind of attempt to stop it, he pushed them both into the front of his hair and let his fingers graze through the strands that were trying to remain part of the gathering.

Don't do it. Don't you fucking do it. You're gonna make yourself sound like a madman, Ted. Don't let him in, don't-

"S-sure. Door's open."

Paul pushed his way through, and immediately saw what this state had done to Ted. He was on the ground, pressed up against his desk and hiding his face in his arms. His hair was uncharacteristically unkempt. Sure, Ted wasn't exactly known for keeping his hair neat, but there was so much of it out of the hair tie he normally used that there may as well not have been a hair tie at all.

He closed the door behind him, even though he knew there wasn't enough people in the office for it to matter.

Upon hearing that, Ted's gaze shot up, eyes wide and glistening, face streaked with tears. He tried to compose himself, but quickly realised that he was too far gone to care. Besides, Paul was probably here because he'd heard what was going on, there was no point in trying to hide it now.

"Ted, uh-" Paul hadn't come in with any kind of plan here. This was just plain concern talking, a need to see if there was anything he could do. Are you okay was the wrong question. He was so far from okay that it was almost astounding.

"What happened?"

As Paul chalked up a list of possibilities in his head, Ted tried to chalk up whether telling him straight out would be the right way to go. It was an insane demand, and there was no way Paul would believe him in any capacity. It's been Thursday for the past two and a half months... Yeah, that sounded stupid. And while there was a part of him that did want to be assured that it'd be fine, that he could move on even if it took time, he wasn't going to find himself admitting-

"I'm sorry, what?"

"Huh? What... What d'you mean, 'what"?"

"You just said-"

"Fuck."

Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck.

He'd said that out loud. He'd said that out loud. So much for not wanting Paul to think he was crazy... He couldn't even trust himself to say anything without his mind getting away from him!

It didn't matter. Paul knew now, and he couldn't exactly take it back...

So, he nodded. Better for him to walk out now and forget he ever asked. Better for him not to think he was losing his mind. Better if he said nothing.

But he stayed. Brow drawn, completely silent... He was waiting for something. An explanation, probably. Ted heaved a sigh and forced himself to think about his every word.

"It's- uh- yeah. It's been Thursday for- for weeks. The same Thursday. Yesterday." He motioned for Paul to take a seat somewhere; the way he was just standing there was starting to get intimidating.

With a shrug, Paul walked over and sat against the other side of the desk, to put a little space between them. He leaned back against it, and glanced over at Ted. "I don't think I understand..."

Ted sighed. That made two of them. "I don't- I don't know, okay? Every time I woke up, it- it was the fucking same. Same day, with the same people and the same fucking conversations… I had this whole- I had everything worked out, and now suddenly-"

"It's Friday..?" Paul offered, with a genuine air of sympathy about him.

Ted nodded. "Couldn't have said it better myself. Yeah. It- it's Friday. I thought I'd be glad it was all over, y'know? That things would stop being the same, but it feels like shit, Paul." He reached up to pull out his now redundant hair tie, and scrubbed his hand over his face to collect the loose tears still threatening to fall.

Paul didn't really know, nor did he think he'd understand, but Ted was messed up over it, and he thought he owed it to him to at least make an effort. "So, what, you woke up in the same day?"

"Every day. No matter what I did."

"How long for?"

"Stopped keeping track a couple weeks in. Today's just... It's a lot, y'know? Thought I'd be fine..."

Paul shifted ever so slightly closer. Ted was absently twisting his hair tie into various different knots, pulling them out, and then then doing the exact same thing all over again. He'd never seen him this anxious over anything before, it was a strange enough sight on just that. Ted was brash, confident, reckless... The man sitting five feet away from him was shaking, lost, and barely able to string a sentence together without stammering.

There was a part of Paul looking to investigate, to get to the bottom of whatever was playing on his mind. The rest of him knew that spirals like this spiked the nerves, left a guy helpless. Ted probably didn't even know how to explain what was going on in his head, let alone what had apparently happened yesterday.

So, he stopped himself asking too many questions.

"I wanna go back. I know what that sounds like... But I don't fucking care anymore, I wanna go back." A sob racked his chest and he ended up gasping for breath. He found the strength to look at Paul, his eyes wide and frightened. "Saturday's coming. I don't know how I'm gonna cope when I don't even have to come to this shit hole! At least today I could pretend things were normal!"

Paul shuffled so he was facing Ted properly. The latter did the same, feeling a strange sense of being understood here. He didn't even know what it was, but Paul seemed to have understood at least some of that sentiment.

"How are you for the movies tomorrow?"

Paul's question threw him right off guard. He blinked, stared at Paul, then blinked again. "Huh?"

"Would.... Would having some kinda plan make this whole thing any better?"

Yes, goddamnit, I need something normal and set, because I've got two days of this shit and I don't wanna lose my mind before I come back on Monday...

"I dunno.... Uh, maybe?" Then he tried to scoff, tried to gain a semblance of himself. "What, you asking me on a date to the movies, Matthews?"

"Not a date. But... Yeah. It doesn't matter what's on, we could just... Watch for the sake of watching, y'know?"

"... I'll be there."

Hope you can salvage the rebirth playthrough! Is it a guide/difficulty problem or is it just not fun?

It's just not fun and I'm so very disappointed in this game...

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

My main gripes are the sheer amount of mini games. If there can be multiple videos of "Top 10 minigames" in just one game, there are too damn many. And I swear to the gods, if that moogle loses their moglets one more time, I'm gonna drown them all! Honestly, they just jam packed too much stuff into this game, which is a total bane for an OCD moron like me!

There should be gear load outs because I should not have to be forced to ruin my materia set up because I'm being forced to play another character. That's just a waste of time.

AND it should not take me more than 2 hours to beat the final boss! 13+ fucking phases of the same damn thing is not fun!

On the other hand, I enjoy the story. I'm actually really happy with the actual story and characterization of these beloved characters! I'm a bit sad they messed up Cait Sith's sacrifice, and forced the Cloud-Aerith date in that alternate world (that felt so awkward). But on the whole, I loved the characters and stories! Even some characters I never looked at twice!

But anyway, at this point, I plan on forcing myself to finish the game tomorrow because I need that story, but this game is such a disappointment for me.

I daydream about Gemini AU and one idea I had was that after leaving the Nexus and becoming slightly less codependent, the twins take up independent titles? Like, instead of both being Gemini, Leo becomes Meteor and Donnie becomes Nova or some other astrological name. Not very likely, considering they both seem to be genuinely proud of being Gemini together despite everything, but I thought I'd share this with you.

Oooh, this is kind of a fun thought? Also I'm just absolutely flattered that you daydream about Gemini the idea that there are other people in the world spending time thinking bout my silly turtles absolutely baffles me ; w ; On one hand, I feel like they, at least currently, love being Gemini and sharing a title. They're so incredibly proud of their career as Gemini. But once they leave the Nexus and stop being so codependent, I think they're probably gonna be a lot more likely to sort of... recognize it for what it is? Something used to manipulate them and a part of their mother's attempts to capitalize off of them and control them. And it'll be very hard, because they are Gemini, it's such a huge part of their identity, how do they let that go...? But at the same time, how can they still be Gemini and heal at the same time?

In addition to this, there'll be at least a period where they... aren't performers anymore. (Which is gonna be super hard for them to cope with as well...) If they're not longer fighting in the Nexus, what use do they actually have for a stage name? Why have people call them anything but Donatello or Leonardo...?

(... But I think there will come a time when they eventually pick up an alias again. And I really like the idea of them each having their own names, but still matching...!)

EPISODE 9 PREDICTIONS GO GO GO

Predictions for Casper & Nova are under the cut! ✂️

-I think that we will see the same flashback of Simon and Betty from episode 8, except that it will be recontextualized from a non-biased point of view. Like the true context without Simon's rose-tinted view of it.

-I feel like on Simon's side of things, it will in general be flashback-heavy. Mostly stuff from his and Betty's relationship, but it'd be cool to see even younger Simon just for fun!

-I think it's very possible that we will see AU versions of Simon and Betty. Perhaps as a way to show what-ifs and add more layers to their overall relationship.

-The synopsis states Simon's mind will be transported through time and space while Fionna and Cake have to fight for their world. I don't think F+C will be fighting due to Simon putting on the Ice Crown or anything like that. I think their world will be in danger because Simon's brain is going to blue screen from all the pain he's going to inevitably be subjected to. He's just going to reach such a dark state of mind that his inner world literally starts crumbling.

-Betty is going to reach out through Golb and break up with him, officially. I feel like this is where the narrative is heading and will be the main reason Simon enters such a state of distress.

-Something will inevitably snap Simon out of it. I'm not clear on what it could be, but something to remind him or give him a lightbulb moment that there is life after Betty and he has a place in Ooo, despite what he thinks. The episode might even end at Simon's darkest point, while the final episode 'Cheers' is where he snaps out of it.
