Lucifer, Alastor, Vox, Adam, & Angel Dust as the five stages of grief

Warning: Mild mentions of death, depression, & murder. also the death of our almighty queen Y/N

Lucifer: Depression

He would definitely be numb to the whole ordeal. Having lost his first wife, Lilith, and now losing you?

He would probably cling onto your dead body and cry. Charlie might try to pull him off, but he won’t budge. How could he possibly let you go?

After your death, he would often be seen by the hotel residents, either crying while holding up your picture, or staring into space.

Charlie would try her best to comfort him. Afterall, you were like a second mother to her. But nothing could take away his pain.

He would probably grieve your death for the rest of eternity, but eventually (and slowly) start to get over it.

Alastor: Anger

Like Lucifer, he would probably cling onto your dead body. It would take the whole hotel crew to pull Alastor off you.

The whole hotel crew would hold a miniature funeral for you.

Alastor’s mental health would probably start deteriorating quickly–not that it wasn’t before, and he would probably kill any sinners who reminded him too much of you.

If the pain became too much, he might even leave the hotel forever.

Adam: Denial

He would probably laugh.

There is no way you, the almighty Y/N, his lover, could be dead. Right?

He would probably just stare in disbelief.

After your death, when people would come up to him and say how sorry they were that you were dead, he would simply stare in disbelief.

Your funeral? He’s still in denial. Expecting you to wake up, open the casket, and jump out.

Months later, he would stay up late at night, hoping, praying, begging, for any sign of you. He would still expect you to walk through the front door and jump into his arms.

Vox: Acceptance

Vox would grieve just as hard as the others, however, he would quickly accept the harsh truth that you will never come back to him.

Although he would accept your death, It would take him a while to move on – probably years.

He would try to talk to a therapist to get rid of these complicated feelings he had buried deep inside, knowing that you weren’t going to come back.

Valentino and Velvette would comfort him throughout the whole ordeal, having deep complicated feelings for you of their own.

It's safe to say that it took Vox at least five years to move on.

Angel Dust: Bargaining

Angel Dust would hold your cold, lifeless body, and shake it, saying things like ‘come on sugartits!’ or ‘it's time to wake up!’

It takes Angel a while to comprehend things.

Angel probably would think he could’ve saved you if he had been a better person, or if he had changed something even slightly.

He would bargain with himself, deep inside begging you to come back, even though he knows you may never return.

[warning: Adam [kinda]: angst: blood: death]

a/n: I both hate and love him he’s ooc in this most likely

[Y/n] stared at the carnage and destruction, they’d lost she had to admit that. Adam wouldn’t take that of course, and was now shouting at angrily. His mask broken and blood running out of his nose. “All of humanity came from theses fucking nuts!” He shouted angrily, as he pointed downward.

She just wanted to get back home to their little girl. “Fall ba-” She let out a sharp gasp. Her mouth dropped open in shock, everyone turned away from Adam, who was now staring at his wife in shock. Everyone’s eyes landed her, staring at her in shock seeing the sharp object protruding from her stomach.

She fell forward onto the cold ground revealing Niffty, who repeatedly stabbed her in the back. Her blood spattering everywhere, “No! Fuck! Yn!” shouted Adam, as he rushed towards her grabbing Niffty, and throwing her off in the distance.

He turned her over carefully, and looked down at her worriedly. “Fuck babe, stay with me.” He pleaded, and she looked at him and smiled seeing him. Her breathing slowed as everything around her grew fuzzy, “Think of our little girl,” He said, as tears brimmed his eyes as he cradled her in his arms.

A smile forming on her lips as she closed her eyes, leaning against Adam’s chest. “I love you,” he couldn’t hear her voice, but he knew that’s what she said.

He cradled her in his arms, a faint smile on her lips as her head rest in his chest. Her blood staining his robes, “Fuck! Babe what am I going to tell our daughter?!” He shouted, shaking her trying to get her to wake up. He felt cursed, unlucky, once again he lost another.

She wants going to be there to see, Dara’s wings fully come in. Be there when she loses her first tooth, how was he going to tell their little girl.Who could barely form sentences, and still tripped whenever she ran around the house.

He glared at Charlie and Lucifer, angrily. “You’ll pay for this!” He growled, as he shouted at the other exterminators to fall back flying back into the portal. His wife’s lifeless body in his arms. Tears in his eyes.

Lute walked towards [Y/n]’s fallen halo picking it up, and glared at both Charlie and Lucifer. “You just took the mother of a little girl, I hope you’re happy.” She spat, angrily as she flew back towards the portal before Lucifer and Charlie could say anything.

Adam watched as they placed a white sheet over her body, it all seemed to hit him then and there. He finally found someone other than a one night stand, that actually tolerated him. Almost. He loved her attitude snarky and sassy. She would use it on him all the time whenever he got on her nerves, fights would happen yes.

Whenever she gave him that stern look, in situations he knew deep down she was right. He would pursed his lips and give a half hearted apology.

“Good, you won’t be sleeping on the couch tonight,” she said.

He’s going to miss that and her laughter, especially when Dara came into the picture. The little bundle of joy lit up both their lives. Now that little girl didn’t have a mom.

“Once upon a time, when the world was first created by the father, ‘god’, there were two lovers. A bright young man, with fantastic ideas for the future of human creation—and a beautiful young woman, whom was created to be his lover. Unfortunately, while the woman loved the man very much, she was forced to watch from afar as he fell for a human woman on earth.” The woman paused, looking down at her daughter, pulling the little girl close.

“Is this the story about Lucifer and aunt Y/N!?” The little girl asked excitedly.

“Mhm.” The mother nodded, continuing her story.

“Although Lucifer went to earth to visit Lillith—your aunt Y/N still had hope that one day maybe they would fall in love as they were destined to. However, with the help of Lucifer, Lilith ran from the garden and Adam. Together, the new couple gave Adam’s new wife, Eve, the forbidden fruit, damning both of them to hell for the rest of eternity.”

“Poor aunt Y/N!” The little girl said sadly, looking down.

“Well-” The mother was interrupted by the creaking sound of a door. In the doorway stood Y/N, her h/c hair shining brightly in the mid-afternoon sun. She was wearing a short puffy blue dress, with pink and white stripes, white stilettos, and a small golden butterfly necklace.

“Aunt Y/N!” The little girl squealed, jumping out of her mother’s arms and into her aunt’s embrace. “Mommy was just telling me the story of you and Lucifer!” She giggled, seeming happy about this.

Y/N seemed less excited about this news. Nobody besides ‘The Seven Heavenly’, Sera, Y/N’s sister, Evangeline, and the father knew about this. “Why don’t you go play outside,” Y/N stopped to look at her sister with a quick glare, before smiling back down at her niece. “I need to talk to your mother.”

“Evangeline, why would you tell her!?” Y/N shouted at her sister, eyes full of tears. “Why not? It's not hurting anybody N/N!” Evangeline yelled back at her sister. Y/N paused to wipe her tears, before speaking to her sister calmly.

“It hurts me, Angie. It hurts every single day. Knowing he won’t come back.” She broke into a full sob. “I…”

“I know it hurts. I understand your pain. But you’ll never get over it if you try to hide from it N/N.” Evangeline spoke softly, rubbing her sisters’ back gently.

“I have something to tell you.” Angie spoke sadly.

“What is it..?” Y/N spoke slowly, still half crying.

“Lucifer’s daughter is arriving today.”

purposely avoided going to an overlords meeting and called his co-worker up at the very last minute to attend for him

the guy he appointed as a spy ended up being the very person to prove a sinner can be redeemed

coward who constantly hides behind screens
