Feeling a bit philosophical here...

So I think love IS an important part of being human (one of many). Know how the ancient greeks had seven different words for love? (Actually eight, but I'm leaving out obsessive love cause that shit ain't healthy):

Eros - romantic love

Philia - affectionate, friendly love

Agape - selfless, universal love

Storge - unconditional, familiar love

Ludus - playful, flirtatious love

Pragma - committed, enduring love

Philautia - self love

And I think it's beautiful, because it's not a ranking system. If you don't feel certain types of love, you don't have to 'settle' for the rest, because each type is still love and love is no limited recource. And an endless amount of love is enough to fill any life with happiness.

There are so many things to love - people, animals, nature, art, music, stars, rocks, your houseplant, your favourite tshirt, pizza, a trashy tv show. Yourself. It seems so silly that people think that, in this big world, someone couldn't find happiness just because their love isn't focussed on that tiny fraction of the universe that is made of human beings.

They didn't have cabins they had 'cults' where demigods or humans who could see through the mist went and joined and they stayed in the cult houses (demigods didn't have to stay in their parents cults they could join different ones.)

Camp was more like a fucking year long thing and your whole life this yah life now losers :]

They had their own form of Olympics

Their cabin head didn't go by quest number or age the cults were lead by who was the best in the cult

Gods were much more active so they'd have a winter solstice feast and join for events

The people in the muses and Apollo cult would get together every new year and do an all night performance for the rising sun 'the new year sun'

The tunics and cloaks they were colored the color of their parent if they could see through the mist their color would just be white :3

The person who won the once a year Olympics was the most revered and popular in camp they always wore a golden reaf in their hair and had their own 'mini cult' they were basically in charge of everyone

They followed xenia to a T if someone showed up at their door they had to welcome them in and treat them

Also glory was everything

They cleansed themselves daily in olive oil

When being courted to marry someone the person who wishes to marry must give gifts to the other persons Godly parent/mortal parent, if rejected they either have to give more till pleased or give up
