Both "Transandrophobia" and "Transmisandry" come before "Transmisoginy" when you search for it, with"Transandrophobia" being one of the top results when you type in "trans" into the search bar. The average post from the top Transandrophobia blogs where they Critique and Analyze cropped screen caps of transfem's posts behind their back will get thousands of notes of praise for RATIONAL and REASONABLE they are for speculating that a throwaway line about "trans girls taking the piss" is actually a joke in direct reference to an anon led sexual harassment campaign of a trans man.

And due to the new tagging policy all that's needed is to mention the word for it to come up in the tags. Which has resulted in half of the #transmisoginy tag being mired with trans androbros crying about how their not transmisoginists, or that they're affected by transmisoginy, or that TME/TMA distinctions are just interagating them about their genitals. Which is by the way AFTER I've used the notes of the posts by the aforementioned top transandro blogs as a blocklist to block these chuds by the thousands. I STILL have to to sift through trans andro post after transandro posts to find a post discussing transmisoginy IN THE GOD DAMN TRANSMISOGINY TAG!

It's been nearly half a year since @/humans announced that they were "working vewwy had :(" to unban the #tgirl tag when they've proved that they can unban tags within a week. Meanwhile the #tboy tag was never flagged to begin with. Hell. Trans women can't even post a selfie in the #transisbeautiful tag without risking attracting the attention of sissy porn chaser blogs.

And EVERYTIME we point out transmisoginy whether it's the "megapope was right" discourse, calls to "critique" gender affirming care for transfems under the pretense that it affirms the patriarchy, obvious "best of both worlds " trap jokes, or a crossdressing cis femboy streamer being treated Height of Gender™ who "no one else does it like". EVERY TIME we point this shit out we are met with condescending TMEs treating it as the Transfem Crusade of the week. Who belittle, talk down to us, and position themselves as the educator to us aabout our own oppression. Who tell us that we are taking things out of context, that were overreacting, that we don't have any reading comprehension, that we don't understand basic theory, and that we're just looking for anything to be angry about.

But no keep crying about how trans men are ignored and talked over meanwhile transwomen are overprioritized and "dominate" the trans conversation. Because surely we haven't been told enough about how we take up too much space.

Something I've been thinking about lately is like, how my gender presentation affects me as a performer.

I love the performing arts, acting, singing, improv, dance, everything, and I've pretty much done everything at some point. I'm a high schooler now and am working to pursue it professionally and the main way I can do that rn is performing in choir and drama at my school or in the occasional summer camp. This past year, I've been in my schools SSAA choir, was King Theseus in a production of midsummer, ensemble in The Little Mermaid, and am planning to do a production of "Freaky Friday" over the summer.

The thing is, how I can present as a performer vs in my day to day life changes drastically. Generally I present pretty androgynous/masculine leaning. I'm hairy and don't shave (partially for sensory reasons), I wear loose clothing made for comfort (Graphic tees, sweats, big jackets and coats, etc), and my hair is cut in a short androgynous style. I don't typically get adressed with masculine terms or pronouns, but this is mainly because of my feminine body type, (given) name, fem leaning voice, and the fact that I just don't meet a lot of new people who don't know that I am afab and assume fem. But generally yes, if I'm wearing something that doesn't show my body type I get treated as more masculine by those who don't know me.

In choir, this doesn't affect me, we don't have a uniform beyond wearing concert black, the only thing that affects my position is my voice part, which places me with the sopranos. (We also are just generally largely queer with a very cool director lmao). In plays, it does somewhat, I have only performed in two plays with this school (and honestly generally, youth theatre is usually limited to musicals) but I have been cast in more masculine roles in ensemble or just recently Theseus. I binded (well "binded", with 1-2 tight sports bras) in that role, but it was mostly to get into character as well as to just fit myself into the suit jacket I had for the chatacter. My masculine presentation works with my semi fem speaking voice and there hasn't been any roles where I felt I didn't fit (especially in this production, where we gender bended for a saphic Lysander and Hermia).

In musicals however, I feel like things change, and typically feminine voice part clashes with masculine presentation. Characters who are masc are typically played be tenors and bases while fem is associated with sopranos and altos. This hasn't come up yet, little mermaid had a very large ensemble where they truly just tried to fit anyone somewhere and ended up with several fem people with higher voice parts in fathoms below as sailors, and pre highschool, and especially pre pandemic gender awakening, my roles were pretty much feminine or "youre one of the 5 students with previous experience play a tenor in our tiny underfunded school production". And while I haven't had any gripes with casting (I quite literally asked for an ensemble part due to my workload at the time, and we had an extremely talented principle cast), I worry in future productions like Freaky Friday where gender roles are more hard and fast, how I present genderwise out of a production could affect my chances of a larger part.

I'm not expecting roles to be handed to me, I don't pretend that I should get every single large role or that I need to or "deserve to" break out of the ensemble, but at a certain point I just get anxious about whether decisions are made purely by what I can do.

I don't even dislike femininity or presenting as such, I use all pronouns and terms and on occasion will wear things like dresses and makeup for the purpose of being fem (I have this one thats like puffy sleeved with mushrooms that I adore, usually wear it with like a corset and some heels, also I wear like a lot of crop/bra tops but those feel andro/masc when I wear them wierdly enough). But for me femininity feels more performative, like something fun for a special or formal occasion, or in some cases the gender I occasionally gravitate towards when my gender decides to be fluid instead of just "none gender left boobs" once in a blue moon. I don't know how I feel about doing things like shaving or wearing more fem clothing to look a part, especially shaving because that's more permanent and takes a lot of energy from both the work and the sensory experience (especially when I am naturally very hairy). I will perform as fem without any question, but altering my lifestyle/presentation for a longer time like this just makes me feel anxious, Ive done this maybe once since I had any sort of awareness of my gender queerness and I dont exactly look forward to figuring out trial and error style whether on not it gives me any sort of disphoria (especially when I already know my Dad, who is very open about preffering when I present feminine, would make a huge fuss about it), or even any sensory discomfort when I havent done this in so long and last time I did there was some.

Idk sorry if this is long and incoherent (can you tell I have adhd from the amount of parentheses and commas lmao), but idk I've just been feeling kinda anxious about this lately, if anyone has any stories, experiences, or advice around this sort of thing I would love to hear it.

im working on the pov views of the girl's rooms and its taking longer than i expected... so in the meantime im gna do more headcanons :D

headcannons for the girl's roommate experiences:

Bloom: clueless, her dorm was really barren until their third year. since she was allowed to magically decorate her side of her dorm with flora, she decided to design it in a college dorm meets fantasy school dorm way so she can live out her dreams. her shelves are full of books (mostly textboks and history books because she wants to learn as much about the magical world as possible) when she is feeling down, she puts on her wired headphones, turns on her walkman and puts in a mixtape her parents made her before she left and draws at her drafting table while petting kiko. when shes like this the girls leave her alone since she is basically on autopilot and wont meaningfully reply.

Flora: FILLED with plants. she also decorates the rest of the dorm in plants. the rest of the girls worry about the bugs sometimes but flora keeps them in control in her room, and in her little greenhouse in the common space. her shelves are full of books and potionology ingredients. she has a picture of miele by her bed (and later a picture of helia as well with the first paper crane he ever folded for her) when she is down she hides in her little changing area, sitting with her knees to her chest for a few hours before coming out and resuming her day.

Musa: she fills the dorm with calming music like all the time. so for the girls, while in their dorm, background music is a thing. she stops it when they have serious conversations, and she limits the music to the common areas and her own room. (techna gets the brunt of it since sometimes musa vents her feelings through music in their room and she cant focus)

Techna: she tries to technologically enhance the room and she also helps the girls with subjects they struggle with (especially stella and bloom) she likes to keep notes and books from previous years in her hard drive of an arm, she she keeps them impeccably organised. when she stresses she overworks herself to the bone. you might think oh she works all the time anyway? wrong. she likes to play video games as well but when shes upset she just works works works. she only stops when she passes out. when she wakes up all is well. (she will learn better coping mechanisms.

Stella: ofc she dresses the girls a lot when they have events and outings, she also connects and taps into the girl's wants and designs their outfits based on that, (similar to how she does that to teleport the girls to places she's never been to but one of them is familiar with in my rewrite) when she is upset she gets kinda bratty and basically tears apart her closet looking for something to wear, often screaming "THERE IS NOTHING". after the anger subsides, she sits in her pile of clothes for a bit before using magic to clean it all up and going to sleep.

Aisha: she was really awkward and let stella kind of take advantage of the fact that her room was kinda barren at first, but then she asserts herself and takes her space back. she was really ok with her room being upstairs since she is a sporty person, and she sleeps on a waterbed because back in andros floating on the water while chatting with Tressa are some of her best memories. when shes upset she just kinda in a coma, almost. she doesnt leave her bed unless she has to

Aisha starts to lift weights and box with Brandon and Sky after Valtor attacks Andros as a healthy way to vent her anger and worries. She continues after Andros is safe because she genuinely enjoys it.

Nabu watches them box and cheers for Aisha more loudly than Stella could ever dream of when Aisha beats either of the guys

Flora and Musa learn how to braid Aisha's hair. They have nights where the three of them stay up all night talking and doing Aisha's hair.

La Dimension Magique a toujours existé et fut créé par la puissance du Grand Dragon, lors de l’évènement que l’on nomme aujourd’hui « Le Souffle de la Flamme du Dragon » (voir l’annexe mythe et religion). C’est à ce moment là que naquirent les premiers êtres dotés de magie, et que la Dimension Magique prit doucement la forme que l’on lui connait aujourd’hui.

Plusieurs milliers d’années plus tard, la Dimension Magique fut profondément ébranlée lorsque le Cristal d’Hélétris connu pour abriter les reliques ancestrales des Gemmes du Dragon implosa littéralement. Cette explosion entraîna alors une onde de choc magique qui fut ressenti aux quatre coins de la Dimension et plus loin encore … Pendant les jours qui suivirent cet événement une étrange neige ne cessa de tomber sur les terres magiques, et ceci jusque dans le désert de Zayairah. Puis un beau jour une brèche s’ouvrit à quelques kilomètres de la cité d’Hélétris, et le premier portail vers la Terre y fut découvert. En effet, avant l’arrivée des fées sur Terre celle-ci était aux proies à un profond mal-être écologique, depuis à chaque solstice et chaque équinoxe les fées les plus puissantes de la Dimension se rendent sur Terre afin d’aider la nature à suivre le changement des saisons. Malheureusement l’ouverture de ce portail eu aussi pour conséquence de permettre à l’énergie magique rejetée par le Cristal de se frayer un passage à travers les espace-temps. Depuis ce jour de nombreux humains furent en quelque sorte génétiquement modifiés et développèrent ainsi des capacités hors du commun …

De nos jours, la Dimension Magique est d’après les derniers recensement constituée de 70% de fées et 30% de spécialistes. Les royaumes sont de ce fait majoritairement dirigés par des fées qui disposent d’un rang et de privilèges que les spécialistes n’ont pas. Celles-ci représentent donc une grande partie de l’aristocratie magique, et rares sont les spécialistes qui arrivent à s’imposer dans les sphères politiques ou économique de la Dimension. L’égalité entre fées et spécialistes n’est donc pas encore optimale, malgré que de nombreuses améliorations aient vu le jour depuis leur émergence il y a de cela 200 ans seulement.

☾ Les royaumes de la Dimension Magique ☽

Andros : Andros est un royaume dont la quasi-totalité du territoire est composée d’îles. En tout c’est donc plus d’une centaine d’îles qui prennent place dans les eaux d’Andros. Autrefois, les mers entourant Andros étaient connues pour abriter sirènes, tritons et autres créatures marines. Malheureusement, depuis l’explosion du cristal d’Hélétris ce peuple n’a plus jamais été aperçu. Andros tire en grande partie sa richesse de la pêche, du transport maritime et plus encore de l’industrie navale. En effet, c’est à Andros que siège les meilleurs constructeurs navals. En revanche, c’est aussi d’Andros que sont originaires une considérable part des pirates de la Dimension Magique.

Domino : les habitants de Domino ont trouvé refuge dans les royaumes voisins d'Eraklyon et Solaria après que leur royaume autrefois verdoyante ait été brutalement engloutie par un désert de glace implacable. L’économie de Domino repose sur l'extraction, le raffinement et la vente d’objets fabriqués à partir de la glace ayant recouvert les terres de Domino. La glace féerique est utilisée pour créer des objets d'une beauté extraordinaire, comme des sculptures délicates, des bijoux lumineux et des luminaires enchantés.

Dyamond : La planète Dyamond brille comme une étoile au sein de la Dimension Magique. Sa cité de diamant est le cœur de son économie prospère. Les Dyamondiens, maîtres lapidaires, façonnent des gemmes rares en bijoux étincelants et artefacts religieux convoités à travers les royaumes. Les mines profondes de la planète offrent un trésor inestimable de pierres précieuses, alimentant ainsi un commerce vibrant. C'est un lieu où la religion et l'économie s'entrelacent harmonieusement. Les gemmes, considérées comme sacrées par les habitants, sont le cœur de leur foi, utilisées pour canaliser la magie des anciens esprits. Les prêtresses joaillières transmettent leur savoir de génération en génération, créant des bijoux envoûtants et des objets rituels. Cette symbiose entre la religion et l'art de la joaillerie a engendré une économie florissante, où les gemmes, à la fois divines et esthétiques, tissent des liens entre le sacré et le matériel.

Eraklyon : le royaume d’Eraklyon est avec Solaria le royaume le plus riche de la Dimension Magique. Celui-ci tire une partie de sa richesse de son industrie militaire florissante, tandis que le reste de son économie est soutenue par de vastes et puissants domaines viticoles. Culturellement parlant Eraklyon possède une architecture et un mode de vie qui en comparaison avec la Terre se rapproche énormément de la Grèce antique. Ses paysages quant à eux sont constitués d’importantes chaines de montagnes connues pour ses hauteurs vertigineuses.

Lynphéa : Le royaume de Lynphéa est un véritable paradis tropical, ces forets abritent alors un peuple en parfaite harmonie avec la nature luxuriante qui l’entoure. Leurs habitations sont nichées au cœur des arbres témoignent de leur profond attachement et respect pour l’écosystème. L’économie de Lynphéa repose sur l’exploitation durable des ressources naturelles. De ce fait, la chasse, la pêche mais aussi la cueillettes (fruits, légumes et herbes médicinales) sont les activités de prédilection des habitants de Lynphéa.

Melody : Le royaume de Mélody, imprégné d'une consonnance asiatique, est un éden d'harmonie et de calme. Ses paysages paisibles sont ponctués de jardins zen et de pagodes élégantes. L'économie florissante de Mélodie repose sur la maîtrise d'arts ancestraux tels que la calligraphie, l'artisanat du thé, et la fabrication de soieries raffinées. Les artisans de Mélody produisent des trésors convoités par les amateurs de culture et d'élégance à travers les royaumes.

Pyros : Le sultanat de Pyros prend place dans un désert brûlant. Pyros est connu pour être l'habitat naturel des dragons, où les nomades épris de leur terre ancestrale élèvent avec respect ces majestueuses créatures. Les nomades y prospèrent, honorant leur lien avec ces créatures mythiques, dont la chasse est strictement interdite. Au cœur des volcans endormis, ils extraient des gemmes rares, qui ornent le palais du sultan. L'économie du sultanat s'épanouit grâce au commerce de ces joyaux et l'élevage des dragons de Pyros.

Romulea : Principal ennemi d’Eraklyon, Romulea est un royaume dont l’économie tourne autour de l’artisanat (poterie, sculpture sur pierre, travail du bois …) métier bien souvent transmis de génération en génération, mais aussi de l’élevage et de l’agriculture. C’est de Romulea que la Dimension Magique tire une majeure partie de ses céréales. Outre son agriculture florissante, les terres fertiles de Romulea permettent aussi de soutenir un élevage florissant et diversifiés. Ainsi, les produits laitiers, la viande de qualité et les produits agricoles sont exportés régulièrement vers les autres royaumes. Tout comme son voisin, Romulea revêt une culture et un mode de vie semblable cette fois-ci à la Rome antique

Solaria : Solaria est un royaume aux effluves florales où il fait bon vivre, et où l’opulence y trouve facilement sa place. Malgré un manque de pluie évident, dû à la présence unique de trois soleils les paysages de Solaria n’ont rien a envier aux autres royaumes, plages de sable fin, montagnes et autres plaines baignées de soleil font de Solaria un royaume à la beauté éclatante. Hormis ses paysages, Solaria doit sa richesse aux centaines de mines d’or éparpillées sur son vaste territoire, mais aussi à ses prestigieuses maisons de couture reconnues dans le monde entier.

Zénith : Le royaume de Zénith se dresse tel un joyau futuriste, où la haute technologie règne en maître. L'économie florissante de Zénith repose sur l'innovation technologique, la recherche avancée et la production de dispositifs électroniques de pointe. Les esprits brillants de Zénith développent des gadgets révolutionnaires, des intelligences artificielles sophistiquées et des avancées scientifiques qui alimentent leur renommée à travers les royaumes.

The point about how the show is so "fast paced" is so fucking annoying, like, do you all seriously think any of this was the ideal situation in which they wanted to make this show? Just fucking look Helluva Boss, that is an example of the team being able to pace their story however the fuck they want and taking their time. And the main couple isn't even an official couple yet despite the second season almost being over! If they really had a choice, if they could really give themselves time, they would, but that was completely out of their hands because a company dictated their conditions. The network didn't want to risk money and time into something that was going to flop, so they gave them the most possible just to test the waters and see how it could pay off. This is the shit that happens when you want to go from "indie" to "mainstream." Your work is not just yours anymore, it's someone's else money and you become an employee that has to satisfy them on their own terms rather than your own. You have to compromise or else you lose your job. It's just fucking annoying seeing pseudo critics pretending like that made the whole story bad when it literally out of their hands how long this story was going to be and they still tried because it was that or nothing.

satisfaction is always something so short-lived. I was finally told for the first time in my life id be medicated. I was going to have something to help with the anxiety, the distraction.

I felt so happy because even if it took time for things to build up id be able to focus better. my grades could finally stop dropping, I could reach my full potential.

just to learn that my insurance doesn't support it.

and that caused me to shutdown immediately.

cause today at the doctor's office I listened to my doctor tell me that every problem I was dealing with was... basically nothing. that everybody gets distracted, that not everybody likes to be touched, etcetera. being told that because I could answer a simple empathy question I'm not autistic.

but ive dealt with so much more than what she knows. of course I can answer an empathy question when you're just asking if I'd give my mom a bandaid if she'd get hurt. that's the LOGICAL thing to do, not empathy.

everytime I speak out my emotions are drowned out. every single time I do its ignored and/or pushed to the side until I start hurting myself again. by then all I'm hearing is "why didn't you tell me? I could've helped" a thousand goddamn times.

why must I bleed for you to notice my sorrow? how much longer will I have to wait to have something to stabilize my dysfunctioning mind? what day will that psych appointment come? will I need to wait another several weeks for you to call and assign one? will I ever truly learn whats wrong with me? why everything can be perfect but just the smallest bit of stress tears me apart?

at this point im sliding away into nothing. I hate my body, my mind, my personality. the way I dress, the way I act, my smile, my life. not who I have in my life but just... me. the life I'm burdened to live, the extreme game I never wanted to start.
