Endless list of things I love about post-ts haikyuu (misc. ver.)

having "part 2" chapters like the greatest decoy pt2, king of the court pt2, the greatest challenger pt 2... they show off so perfectly how everyone has grown!!

everyone getting their high school banners. looks so cool and is just a nice touch

everyone reuniting after the game it's just so wholesome

us not knowing who won the olympics or the ali roma/asas sao paulo game or the allstar match cuz it genuinely doesn't matter. no game is the end, and it's not the results that count but the process which includes both winning and losing and either way the world doesn't end. you keep playing and it keeps being fun. or you stop and find something else. just whatever makes you happy

kuroo and oikawa finally canonically meeting in the special

also oikawa and atsumu meeting. we so needed that, esp with iwaizumi there

the incredibly healthy outlook on volleyball the whole series has (this deserves its own post so I shan't elaborate here)

kageyama inviting kindaichi and kunimi to play together! finally these idiots get over what happened in middle school it's so nice to see. and kageyama's smile when they agree is so so cute

the fact that we got the beach volleyball outing with kageyama, kunimi and kindaichi (and hinata). like it's so good and such good closure. kindaichi gets to hit a spike off a perfect set from kageyama, looking like he has the time of his life. in the series proper, one of the ways it was shown that oikawa was a better setter than kageyama even if he wasn't at kageyama's technical level was him communicating with kunimi, recognizing his playstyle, and making the best use of it rather than berating him. in the special, even if kunimi hasn't played for years, kageyama assesses his play style and then suggests he should play beach volleyball for real, because it suits him. not only is it cathartic to see these three happy and on good terms, it shows off so well how much kageyama has grown since those days

the atsuhina dynamic is so good during the game as a whole there's so much there. they both replace each other's former partner, atsumu obv by doing the freak quick with hinata, but hinata also becomes a reliable emergency setter as osamu was, and pulls off one of osamu's moves from their game in hs. atsumu explaining kageyama's thought process to hinata (my points are mine, my hitters' points are also mine). atsumu blaming hinata for waking kageyama up even tho HE'S the one who called him a goody two shoes and got his character development started. hinata jumping for the quick and atsumu going "rn???" while osamu goes "yes this is the time to do it!!" and that's when atsumu gets his banner of "we don't need memories"

(honestly the kageyama/hinata/atsumu/osamu dynamic as a whole deserves its own post which also includes pre-ts stuff because there is just. SO MUCH)

and last but certainly not least, this:

all the little info we get about everyone. like yeah anyone would attempt to give the main characters of their story a satisfying conclusion. it's great haikyuu has done that, but it's amazing that like. basically every single side character has that. ikejiri still plays volleyball! he hasn't given up on it just cuz he sucks. who cares? I do! I care about aone and futakuchi still terrorizing volleyball players as an iron wall on a local team. I care about ukai and nekomata still having video calls. I care about fukunaga being a comedian. I care about saeko and akane being happy to see each other. I care about iizuna being able to keep playing, with a guy from inubushi no less. I care about suna still taking blackmail pics of atsumu like ten years later, now with access to instagram. I care that life has gone on for all of them, with or without volleyball in the picture, but that they're united by playing it together, at the same time, however flimsy or strong a particular connection might be. I care so much and haikyuu rewards me for it with so many good crumbs it's insane

WIP Wednesday: TF&TS (Dream: Rhythm)

Here is a scene from chapter 4 of a longfic I am working on.

Fanfic Summary: Mollymauk Tealeaf survived the encounter with the Iron Shepherds, but a short time later, a spirit had begun hunting him, claiming that he stole his body. This Campaign 2 AU begins with Episode 26 and continues on from there.

May you always have Walls for the winds, A roof for the rain, Tea beside the fire, Laughter to cheer you, Those you love near you, And all your heart might desire.

A quarter moon hovered high in the sky in the late afternoon while Molly and a shadow walked along the edge of the forest by the river. The water had receded from the winter and spring floods, exposing large swaths of empty silt edges of the river bank. The duo searched through the nearby brush.

“Beithe luis fern sail nin úath dair tinne coll cert muin cort gétal straiph ruis ailm onn úr edad idad ebhadh ór uilleand iphin emancholl,” Molly recited as his tail swung above his head like a metronome.

“How do you remember all that?” asked the shadow while they picked up a long stick. They started swinging it around like a sword.

“How d’ye remember the lines?” Molly countered as he picked up another stick. He waved it back and forth, but it snapped easily, so he threw it away with a frown and kept searching.

“There’s five sets of five. Five right, five left, five slanted, five notches, and five weird ones.”

“Not any easy groups like that fer the names of the sounds. Ye just need t’ remember the order.”

“Why’s that the order?”

“I dunno,” Molly replied as he picked up another stick—which seemed to hold up fine—and started walking toward the river bed. “Old lady Seanchaidhe says it is, and the old guys don’t fight her about it. Ye get used t’ it though. Just remember which follows another and put it t’ a rhythm, and ye’ll gettem all.”

“A rhythm?” the shadow asked as they followed.

“Like a pattern. Ye can pretend it’s a song if ye like, but it doesn’t matter how ye sing it. It’s the pattern of the song.”

“That’s weird.”

“Ye’re weird.”

“I see the moon, the moon sees me…” du-DUM du-DUM, du-DUM du-DUM

“So they fought and they fit, and they scratched and they bit…” da-da-DAN da-da-DAN, da-da-DAN da-da-DAN

“So the sounds and lines are supposed to match?” the shadow asked as they used the stick to draw one long vertical line in the dirt. “Like letters?”

“Maybe,” Molly shrugged. “But Common letters don’t mean anythin’ extra, and these sounds all mean somethin’. The old-timers fight about some of ‘em.”

“What do the sounds mean?”

“Seanchaidhe says it’s the tongue of the woods, so a bunch of ‘em are s’posed t’ be different trees. It’s kinda like yer name: it means somethin’ else, but that meanin’s not yer name, and ye don’t use yer name like it’s the word.”

“The lines had trees, too. But what do you mean about my name?”

“Seanchaidhe says it’s críoch. It means ‘the end’ or ‘purpose,’ but someone made yer name shorter.”

“Who’s shan-uh-hee? How would she know?”

“A máthair chríona that knows everythin’, but she only talks in that speech, and she’ll only tell ye stuff if ye trade a story. So ye gotta learn t’ speak it first, then find a story, and then she’ll teach ye stuff.”

“So you steal books for her?”

Molly laughed, “She hates books. She says stories are s’posed t’ be told, not read, and she’s blind anyway. So don’t let her know if it’s from a book.”

The tattered book was nearly falling apart, but the text was still legible. Short stories filled the left pages with colorful paintings paired on the right, though many pictures had been defaced. Molly tapped out the beat from the similar rhymes as he read aloud. They didn’t always match, but they melded together anyway.

They all overlapped as he recited one of them.

“Thus the wolf brought the fox with him, and whatsoever the wolf wished…” Ever eating, never cloying, all-devouring, all-destroying… DUM-du DUM-du, DUM-du DUM-du, DUM-du DUM-du, DUM-du DUM-du

“…the fox was compelled to do, for the fox was the weaker…” …Never finding full repast, till I eat the world at last. DUM-du DUM-du DUM-du DON, DUM-du DUM-du DUM-du DON

“Luis is s’posed to be a tree with red berries and oval leaves,” Molly recalled. “Not seen any ‘round here though, so I dunno what else it looks like.”

“The clan called that one ‘cairtheand,’” the shadow said as they drew two smaller lines right from the vertical line. “I saw it in the mountains. It’s got pretty green leaves and strong, light brown wood. It’s good luck if you pick up fallen pieces with red berries still on it, but it’s bad luck to cut the tree.”

Molly stared incredulously.

“What?” the shadow asked.

“That sounds made up,” Molly replied. “Trees’re gray and purple. And why’s it both good and bad luck?”

“No, it’s only this forest like that,” the shadow elaborated. “There’s lots of kinds of trees, all over the world. Most have green leaves and brown wood. Cairtheand’s supposed to be a sacred tree, though, so you only take what falls off.”

Molly tilted his head, not believing any of that, then shrugged and mimicked the drawing, “That’s mine then.”

“What?”

“S’mine!” Molly insisted as he looked over. “Writin’ a whole name’s gonna take ferever, so ye just pick one of ‘em fer yer own and that’s all ye need. Fer writin’ anyway.”

The shadow thought it over for a moment. “That’s weird.”

Molly huffed indignantly, “Ye’re weird.”

Using a stick, Molly sketched out a map of the streets and alleys into the dirt. He kept different beats on each hand while his tail notched the horizontal lines in a rhythm of five and the stick marked the vertical lines in a rhythm of nine.

thump-thump-thump-thump-thump tap-tap-tap-tap-tap-tap-tap-tap-tap

“Ór is s’pposed to be ivy, like the vines,” Molly continued, “but it’s gold, too.”

“That one looks like this,” the shadow said as they drew a diamond around the vertical line.

“That’s yers then,” Molly decided as he also sketched the diamond.

“Why?” the shadow asked curiously.

“‘Causa yer eyes,” Molly replied as though it was obvious.

“My eyes are yellow,” the shadow argued.

Molly shook his head in confusion, “They’re gold. Why would ye pick yellow if ye can pick gold?”

The shadow seemed confused as well, “I didn’t pick it. They’re just yellow.”

Molly scoffed, “Well, since ye didn’t pick anythin’, I picked gold, so they are.”

“Beithe. Luis. Fern. Sail. Nin…” One right line, two right lines, three, four, five… do, du-DUM, da-da-DAN, di-di-di-DIM, de-de-de-de-DEN

“Úath. Dair. Tinne. Coll. Cert…” One left line, two left lines, three, four, five… DON, DUM-du, DAN-da-da, DIM-di-di-di, DEN-de-de-de-de

“Then shouldn’t yours be ruis?” the shadow asked as they drew a line with five slanted lines intersecting. “Since your eyes are red?”

“That’s not the right sound though,” Molly insisted, his tail twitching like a heartbeat, du-DUM du-DUM du-DUM. “Luis is the right sound.”

The shadow pointed at the different drawings, “But ruis isn’t that different. And ór isn’t the right sound for me either. Coll’s the right sound.”

Molly’s tail rapidly switched beats as he drew four lines above the diamond and to the left of the vertical, DIM-di-di-di, “Coll kinda looks borin’ though, so ór is better.” He pointed at the diamond as his tail twisted with two simultaneous rhythms, DUM-du (tap-tap-tap-tap-tap). “If ye’re really gonna pick yellow—buí—instead of gold, that’s beithe, but that’s borin’, too, it’s just the one line.” He drew one line to the right, do. “Fer mine, ruis means red and gettin’ riled,” he pointed at the five slashes, DEN-de-de-de-de (thump-thump-thump), “but luis means fire and the tree with red berries anyway, so it’s better. Plus luis is shorter to write ‘cause it’s just two lines.” He drew two lines to the right, du-DUM.

The shadow tilted their head and narrowed their eyes, “You just want the one that’s good luck.”

Molly glared, then swung the stick dramatically as he replied, “Eistigi liom, there’s a buncha rudaí maith at this, and like aon rud amháin at that, so I’m pickin’ luis.”

They stared each other down while Molly’s tail whipped around.

“You’re weird.”

“YE’RE weird.”

* * *

Molly grumbled as he slowly came to, something tapping on his leg. What was that, a bird? A mouse? He tried to ignore it before the agitation was too much. He sighed in frustration and sat up, rubbing his eyes.

It was still early morning, the sky barely beginning to lighten as dawn approached. His sight took a moment to adjust to the dim light as he looked at his legs. The Bahamut tapestry shifted slightly, so Molly slowly pulled it away.

His own tail had wrapped around his leg, tightening in a matching rhythm while the spade tapped in a set of three, DON (tap-tap-tap), then repeated. It stopped once Molly intentionally unwound his tail.

He blinked, still half-asleep. Did he learn that from the dream? Weird.

It’s too early for this shite.

Molly huffed and shifted the tapestry back over his legs, then pulled it over his head as he willed himself back to sleep.

His construction is unknown, even for Fedelis himself. But given he was a street urchin for the first few million stellar cycles of his life in Kaon, it's safe to assume it was not high on Fedelis' needs, even today at the ripe age of 27 million stellar cycles (In his mid-fifties in human terms).

After a good 8 million in the inner city, Fedelis's decided to get a stable way to have the fuel to live another day. So he went to the city's gladiator pit. Initially wanting to be a warrior, he's fit and survived for a long time- until he witnessed that many bots were warriors to the point of being comical. Many faceless rookies to the astonishing amount of famous visage. He was not that educated, but even a street rat desperate for income could see he did not have a chance. But he wasn't going to give up the pit. He noticed an opportunity, a shocking lack of doctors for the wounded warriors. He took the chance and never looked back. Worked as a Gladiator medic for an impressive 10 million cycles before being recruited as a war medic.

Despite the bright red medic symbol on his shoulder and the bright yellow visor, this mech is not a flashy dude. A muscular but not pageant muscle build, a tan, grey, and black color scheme. And a mask covering the lower half of his face. He's practical, telling folks he's a medic from a glance, firm but cushioned from adrenaline-induced fight response from patients, preventing his face from getting stabbed again. He only removes the mask when he's absolutely pissed. The medic's dodgy knee won't save you.

Despite his simple looks, he's still good-looking, and everyone recognizes him because this mech is blunt as hell, reputable for keeping Gladiators alive, and he has time deceleration. He fires a blue electric blast from his cannons that slows a medium-range area's time to a crawl for ten minutes, with everything affected but him. He primarily uses this ability to help extremely critical patients and, in the time of war, help with the evacuation.

During his time in the war, he has seen the worse. Even with being used to the wounds the bots he repaired from the gladiator pits. And it was hard to keep the younger member of his team (Flow) grounded and focused. Then one day, Ghostwire came into the picture.

Fedelis is not the kind of mech who would not stay silent about how poorly the Decepticons or Autobots handle things. He proudly punched a scummy councilman once, and he'll gladly do it again. But he was rightfully upset that someone in the Decepticon hierarchy allowed a TEENAGER to join during the twilight years of a long grueling war. He does not care that this young femme has an impressive mod or is willing to join. They should know that recruiting someone this young during this time of the war is a death sentence!

Despite his evident concern, the scrappy femme was still on time, and fast forwards with the rest of the team almost killed off. Fedelis is very over how Decepticons' deviated from their beginning goals. And now, with the Allspark gone, all cybertronians will suffer. The old medic, by now, adopted Ghostwire and then decided enough is enough.

With what's last of the squad and later a few pets and Ghostwire's sister, somehow alive after all these vons, the clan traveled across the universe and occasionally Alternate Universe. Thanks for a fascinating quirk with old space bridges Flow exploits.

My thoughts while watching the new Sanders Asides video

Intro: ooh, there's some warnings, so we know this is gonna be a spicy one

0:19- WTF WAS THAT ASIDES LOGO MAGI THING?? I LOVE IT.

0:26- remus' theme, very exciting

0:49- i'm glad to know that thomas is just as awkward as i am when texting lol. also, HE'S TEXTING NICO!!

0:52- logan!! the boy!! also, i think this is the first time we've seen one of the sides rise up in thomas' bedroom? not super exciting, but i thought it was interesting.

1:06- i absolutely would have laughed at '69' as well. sorry, logan.

Final Thoughts:

As always, I'll bey opinion. Nico and Thomas are so cute, and I'm happy we got to see more of them together. I was also excited to see that we got all of the sides in one video, finally, though I'm still waiting for some onscreen interaction between Janus and Remus. The ending was super ominous, so I'm curious as to what's in store for the future. And as you all could tell, I was clearly very interested in the possibility of being introduced to the orange side. I can't wait to see everyone's theories and such.

Curious and autistic-coded

Hello there! April draws to an end and with that I think it’s high time to hurry up and write this. What does April have to do with anything, you ask? April is the Autism Acceptance Month. So what better month to do this?

Unfortunately I didn’t make it. I failed. It’s already 1. 5. when I’m posting this. But at least I tried to deliver on time.

In this mini essay I’ll present my case about why I think the Curious brothers from TS2 Strangetown display autistic-coded traits and my personal takes on it.

It’s basically your average headcanon post but with a funny top hat!

0: Preface: What do I mean by “autistic-coded”?

When a character is coded as something, it means that they have traits that are associated with the demographics in question to make the consumer knowingly or not link the character with the demographic, although the character's "label” is never explicitly disclosed.

In the nutshell, it means that there are canonical reasons to read the characters as autistic, although you won't find the word "autism" anywhere in the game nor in the developer's commentary.

In this particular case I do believe that the developer may not even be aware of the code, as there is no evidence to suggest otherwise. If there is, I’m not aware of it and I would be happy to learn.

So, let’s start!

1: “The white male who is very good at science”

Unfortunately autistic representation in pop-culture has a long history of being rather straightforward in which traits the characters often have. This stems from the belief that autism is “a boy’s disorder” (that’s why some autism charities to this day use blue in their symbols). Among popular examples of autistic-coded characters are Big Bang Theory’s Sheldon Cooper and Death Note’s L and Near. I’m sure you can think of more but you’ll find that most of them are men and either explicitly white or racially ambiguous white-passing. They also tend to be gifted in tech, logic or other science-y activities.

There’s nothing wrong with that! Nothing wrong with being an autistic with those “stereotypical” characteristics and there is nothing wrong with people being represented. What is wrong is the monotony and afab people/people of color being underrepresented which leads (among other factors) to harder access to diagnosis and resources for those people in real life. But! That’s a topic for a different day. (and not for a simbrl, mind you)

Back to the Curiouses! I just wanted to say that autism in media is traditionally associated with characters whose gender presentation, race and interests align with theirs. Those characteristic thus make a very convenient template for autistic-coding.

2: Inconsistent performance, huge gaps between strengths and weaknesses

Pascal, Vidcund and Lazlo are very skilled Sims by default, extraordinarily even for their age. Pascal has a skill maxed while his younger brothers both near maxing theirs.

But as you can see in Pascal’s default skill panel, apart from Creativity, all his other skills are extremely low, 0 points for Mechanical, Body and Charisma, 1 point for Cooking and Logic and his second best skill, Cleaning, has only 3 points. The same situation can be observed in Vidcund’s and Lazlo’s, except their strong suits are Logic and Cooking respectively.

Huge discrepancies within performance in different cognitive areas is a common trait found in those on the autism spectrum. We’re often talking extremes here and the scale of the difference is the defining factor. Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses, it’s just in neurodivergent people those tend to be unusually noticeable.

I think that skills, simplified as they are, are the closest The Sims has to possibly simulate that because they track the character’s performance and expertise in different areas and allow comparison. In real life, of course, this comparison is not nearly as possible and exact, nor desired, but for all our analysis-loving enthusiasm, here we’re still talking fictional characters.

3: Struggle with social cues

It is widely known that one of autistic traits are difficulties with processing social situations, picking social cues and successfully replicating socially desired behavioral patterns.

But these three are Sims, are they not? They cannot possibly display this trait, since they’re programmed the same way as others.

Yes and no.

It is true that there is no specific in-game feature that would allow Sims to behave with explicit neurodivergency in mind* but with the right combination of traits they can simulate behavior that really hits close to home for neurodivergent players.

*at least not in TS2, TS3 has traits that simulate some possible neurodivergencies but their names tend to be rather... ableist unfortunate and they’re not relevant to this post since they’re not autism related, and even if they were, we’re focusing on TS2 exclusively

Let’s take look at Lazlo here. He is, indeed, a playful soul. He likes to goof around, tell jokes, make others laugh. And since he’s very close to his brother Vidcund, close enough even to Tell Dirty Joke (an interaction that needs quite a high relationship to unlock), he autonomously does just that.

And oh boy, does Vidcund disapprove.

From my personal experience playing them, their relationship usually takes quite a hit from every cheeky joke Lazlo throws Vid’s way. They usually autonomously repair it very quick but it happens often.

But that’s a standard behavior. Vidcund’s very serious, he doesn’t take well to jokes.

No. I mean technically yes, Vid is definitely a grumpy old plant dad but, at least in my game, he tends to accept Lazlo’s jokes. All kinds of them, actually, except for the dirty ones. And Pascal, who technically has even lower Playful points (0 in comparison to Vidcund’s 4), doesn’t seem to mind Lazlo’s poor attempts at grown-up humor.

But! What is it that makes Lazlo try still? What drives him to attempt to make Vidcund laugh with a dirty joke over and over again? (and fail?)

I my interpretation, Lazlo doesn’t do that on purpose, he is just really poor at evaluating “dirtiness” of a given joke and frequently misinterprets Vidcund’s cues. The animation of a dirty joke being rejected even supports that as Vid doesn’t signal his discomfort with any exaggerated easy-to-read facial expression until Lazlo gets to his punchline.

No only that but as I mentioned, the invisible lines between spicy and too vulgar are often hard to thread. I can recall many times I thought I was saying a witty quip on an “adult” topic and was met with awkward silence or someone shushing me because “that’s not how you speak in public”. I can well imagine myself in Lazlo’s shoes.

A situation of social cues being misinterpreted or ignored can be observed also in Vidcund. Programming-wise, those are just his low Niceness and extreme Shyness showing but combined they again paint a picture of a very neurodivergent-looking behavioral pattern.

He often behaves like the concept of politeness or social rules doesn’t exist because the combination of the aforementioned traits makes him come off very blunt (lecturing and shoving telescope-peepers with no warning whatsoever) and distant (having a high chance of rejecting simple small-talk socials).

Yes, I am fully aware that it makes a stronger case for him being an a**hole than autistic but... there’s no reason he can’t be both. Not all autistic people are sweet cinnamon buns, all personalities you can think of can be neurodiverse and, for some their neurodiversity can even amplify their inconsiderate ways, as I believe it is the case with our dear grouch Vidcund.

4. Their bios

“No matter what happens, Pascal believes there is a logical explanation for everything. In his free time, he practices home psychoanalysis and collects conspiracy theories.”

(that’s how I imagine practicing psychoanalysis looks like, sorry Freud)

“Serious and exact, Vidcund strives to fit the universe into a nice tidy package. He has an unnatural fondness for African violets.”

(let’s collectively pretend those are African violets)

“Not as studious as his older brothers, Lazlo got his degree in Phrenology. He likes to call phone psychics and spends hours trying to bend forks with his mind.”

Both Pascal’s and Vidcund’s bios point to a pattern-focused worldview with a strong emphasis on rationality as the center-point that anchors the way they understand the world around them and build their principles on. This “pattern-ization” of thinking is a common autistic trait, with rationality being a popular theme because emotions tend to be difficult to access and asses for many of us.

Lazlo’s biography is an outlier. But it still has something significant in common with those of his brothers: All three of their bios allude to a potential special interest of sorts.

Special interests as an autism-related term are very specific, in-depth and long-term hobbies or areas of expertise that make an autistic person happy and they tend to go to seemingly exhausting lengths, often at the cost of other areas of knowledge and most likely the person’s ability to talk about anything else for a long enough time. (a loving hyperbole, no disrespect meant) Mine are my characters and cats. An even more intense but a short(er)-term passion is called a hyperfixation.

Them potentially having a special interest is yet another possible autistic-coded feature.

5. Wait. Why does it matter?

Right. What does it matter if a Sim (A SIM) (or two or three) is autistic? What do I hope to achieve, pushing my autistic Curiouses agenda down your throats?

I got to write a long rant-piece about some of my favorite TS characters and I feel like I can finally die satisfied.

Apart from that and me sharing my happiness of finding some good pixels I can relate to, it is a matter of representation.

Remember by the very beginning I wrote how most of the representation our community gets in media tends to be just a one specific type of character?

And how the Curious brothers seem to fit the stereotype to a point?

There is something I omitted, something I saved for the last on purpose.

The role. The role in their story, the role in the society the piece of media portrays.

We often see neurodiverse, autistic or autistic-coded character as children, students, villains, lone savants, victims in distress, comedic relief sidekicks, either very vulnerable and needing protection, or detached and having their role defined only by their academic prowess or their special interest/profession.

What we rarely get to see them as, are... parents.

That’s what many of us autistics are or plan to be someday in the future. The dogma around autism has started to dwindle relatively recently and there are little to no examples of autistic adults being the care-givers for once in the media around us.

The Curious brothers are just that. They are chaotic, they are eccentric, they can be a little too much... but they are dutiful and loving fathers/uncles to their little aliens they raise.

They make it work. Even if they face difficulties, even if they don’t exactly fit the standard.

“Sometimes, a family truly can be three brothers raising alien babies, and it’s beautiful.”

It encourages us to define family by love rather than traditional structures and it shows us that portrait of a functional neurodiverse family we need to see.

And goodness, is it a powerful sight.

Maybe one day we can write a whole post to talk about this once and for all. For the anons who think MTR is too sad to be about Scott B. Let me explain what he did.

1. He was absolutely pretty instrumental to Taylor’s success in the beginning. He was behind her during her war against streaming services (“when I’d fight, you used to tell me I was brave”), for instance, and he was like family.

2. As Taylor rose to fame she wanted more freedom - artistic freedom. That’s how and when their relationship started going downhill - Taylor having too many disagreements with the label, about what music to put out what album covers to use etc. She also wanted to own her art. Scott B of course always thought TS owed him part of her success and his egomaniac self can’t swallow her rebel against him. He held the masters card over her head for YEARS - this is the power and control he had over her - she could buy them back only if she signed her future away to him. She left. Just check out Scott’s interview shortly after she left - it tells you all you need to know about how hurt his ego felt. “cursing my name, wishing I’d stayed”.

3. His resentment turned to revenge. 🛴 tried for years to ruin Taylor’s career and he had control over KK. Just think about how Ari tried to get rid of him but couldn’t. This is really bad stuff. The sunset clause and whatnot. Now, what does Scott selling her masters to 🛴 really mean? It means everything important to Taylor - her art and her love are all under 🛴’s control. And, he also gets to benefit from it. When TS comes out, her art will be worth more, and 🛴 will be the one benefiting from that too. This whole sale is about control and power and a revenge. It’s not just about money. It’s about screwing over TS and KK.

4. Taylor didn’t write “the best people in life are free” in her early 20s for her fans to doubt just how much she wanted to be free and how much she was oppressed. She wanted to live her truth. The masters sale was 2 assholes flexing their power and telling her “you’ll never be free”. “Rebel and you will be punished”. (See what happened in Nov 2019).

The above is just what we know, there probably is a lot more bad stuff we’ll never know. ittg tells the same story as MTR (kids are her albums, dinner gets cold is when the relationship goes downhill, begging is her literally begging for years to own her art). You get the picture. LWYMMD mv contains a million easter eggs, and we are really beginning to see it’s much more about the bad blood between TS and her label than Kimye. “You” is mostly her label and the boss, Scott.

Now tell me, is MTR too sad to be about Scott B?

83. Ishida bad mouthed the assistant guy from the last stream, not realising that person was in the stream as well. He then asked whether the guy was able to wake up.

84. Someone mentioned Bleach’s author, Kubo sensei, as the one who could draw super fast. He said that being able to draw fast didn’t only include the pace you’re drawing the picture. The panels were also included. Even if you draw fast, if there’s 120 panels, it’d still gonna take time. On the other hand, if there’s only 70 panels, it’d take less time. Then there’s the art style as well. Those who use great amount of Kakeami would take a longer time. He then praised Kubo sensei’s drawing.

85. Takahashi Rumiko sensei, the author of Inuyasha was also mentioned as mangaka who drew fast. Ishida mentioned that she’s full of energy. He said young Takahashi Rumiko sensei was cute. She’s still cute now.

86. SY asked what kind of vehicle he wanted to ride. He said he’s scared of trucks. He also didn’t like riding buses. In conclusion, he didn’t wanna ride anything.

87. Ishida said it’s kinda hard to be motivated with digital drawing. He did want to draw on papers, but drawing digitally is infinitely better when he wants to fix or adjust things in his works. He often uses shortcuts as well.

88. He never really felt any sense of accomplishment, so he didn’t understand people who did. He did feel relief (?) when he completed something, but he didn’t understand the feeling of wanting to experience that sense of accomplishment again. He envied those who felt that way since he never felt it.

89. SY read TG manga for the first time the previous day. Ishida was surprised by it and asked him if he thought Ishida was just a streamer. People in the chat were also shocked by it, lol. There were people who only knew about JJ too. Ishida wondered how did SY come across his streams. Sy replied that he just thought Ishida was just someone who drew beautiful illustrations the first time he watched his stream. Ishida was grateful that he’s reading it. It didn’t really matter if he read it or not. When musicians told him that they read TG, he felt like they’re just trying to be considerate, but they probably did read it. It’s okay if they didn’t read it. He always thought that every time he met new people. He wasn’t being humble, it’s just that he preferred if people could just talk to him as usual.

90. Someone said that there were people who got shocked reading TG after they played JJ. He said it’s because JJ was a combination between his sister & him. He also already through with TG, so the vibe was different. However, he once said in an interview that it was hard for him to get rid off TG vibes inside of him when doing JJ in the early stages. He was teased about that by everyone.

91. He went to the bathroom for the 3rd time and someone guessed the correct flower.

92. He wants to invite Mr. Kunimitsu and Ms. Towada again.

93. He said 30,000 is quite a lot for a small fry youtuber like him. He’s amazed he could come this far just by his Animal Rap videos and his game streams.

94. He’s looking at the new illustration that Ms. Towada posted on her twitter. He said the illustration must’ve taken a lot of time. That kind of illustration was tough to draw. He said Ms. Towada seemed healthy when they talked recently.

95. It’s better to just have a conversation with Ms. Towada the next time she’s in the stream since he’d get distracted.

96. Takayuki Kondo, Takashina Sarafumi’s VA was streaming at the time and a fan commented that he was praising Ishida in the stream. Ishida wanted to know what he said about him so he asked the fan to record it.** Ishida was grateful about it.

97. A fan commented that Ms. Towada seemed knowledgeable about geography or local stuffs. Ishida told them it’s because she really liked to travel. She probably had gone to most prefectures in Japan. That’s why she’s very knowledgeable in local history.

98. He jokingly said that he already went to Kumamoto trip with 300 fans. He apologised to those who didn’t get invited.

99. SY commented something and Ishida asked him shouldn’t he be doing something at the moment. He hoped SY did something while listening to his stream. He wanted to think the viewers did that since he only talked about trivial stuffs.

100. A lot of people said they weren’t invited. Ishida said that the trip was only for old men. The trip was for those aged 40 years old and above.

101. He mentioned that he’s just gonna thank the viewers for 30,000 subscribers’ celebration, though he’s really grateful for it. He wanna aim for 40,000 as well.

102. Someone mentioned that Simon’s abilities were really cool to the point they wanted to try those abilities. Ishida also stated he wanted to try them.

103. A fan suggested Ishida going on a trip with 300 gals. He said it seemed tiring, but in actuality, he’d probably enjoy it.

104. A fan asked his opinion on anti-natalism. He wasn’t familiar with the term and searched for it. He wondered if the term was brought by Schopenhauer. He said Schopenhauer was just jealous of Hegel since Hegel was really famous. His books were full of criticism on Hegel.

106. A fan suggested a stream where viewers could also participate to increase subscribers, so he asked what should they do together. People in the chat suggested games like tetris, bomberman, and Smash Bros. He didn’t wanna play Smash Bros cus he didn’t wanna get beaten again.

108. Mashima Hiro sensei, Fairy Tail’s author, did an online signing session. He wondered how he did that.

The whole timing and use of JK’s social media asset on babygate post is very interesting. IMO there are several possibilities:

1. It’s a highly strategic and calculated move to drown out and bury babygate news with Taylor’s win. Esp since most of Karlie’s fanbase are huge Taylor fans who would prioritize Taylor’s performance and monumental accomplishment on the same day. I had a feeling that Taylor attending and performing in the grammy’s meant that she knew in advance that she’ll win at least one out of her many nominations / was led to believe that she had a very strong chance to win. Remember she chose not to attend the previous Grammy’s despite being nominated. Biebs didn’t attend as well, as he did not won in any of his nominations this year. I think odds are higher even this year that artists knew ahead due to COVID as it meant that they’d risk exposure being there without any assured participation. It seems to be a concerted effort between the two camps. Push button release of articles on Grammy Day and JK minutes-before-Taylor’s-performance posting means that they knew of it way ahead. How can Karlie’s camp know if they are in a feud? Moreover, posting using JK’s account, despite our disgust in association, could have been meant to temper more headlines linking the 2 if Karlie posted it. This gives hope, in fortifying that the baby is KK & TS’s, but it also signifies for me, that they want the baby protected from the public eye within a public narrative’s already too messed up by the skeletons in their closet. Besides, I think Taylor knows already that her career has reached phenomenal heights at just 31, she knows the formula to win not only her fans but the homophobic Grammys thus the Toe speech and WB proclamation doubles down on this narrative. Which is why I think her lovher’s blue, but understands even if she could never give her peace.

2. It’s a shrewd move from 🛴 just to irritate the hell out of Taylor and Taylor alone (Kaylors are collateral damage, one that I’m pretty sure he didn’t even consider due to the very minimal count). There’s a possibility that he could have known ahead due to his industry contacts / Grammys had to announce or heavily hint to nominees who will win based on who’s performing given the pandemic situation, hence he could’ve planned ahead and synced release of articles and post of JK. If he wanted to be loud about it tho, he could’ve posted it on a separate day after the whole Taylor Grammy press died down. It would be odd and deluded for him to think that this could overshadow Taylor’s big day, when a big chunk of KK’s fans were originally Taylor’s fans. Moreso, majority of Taylor’s fans hate KK, they couldn’t have cared less on Taylor’s day, esp posting it on JK’s low traction asset. This honestly doesn’t make sense to me, it’s so petty even for 🛴. Unless, this alludes that Kaylor has indeed broken up, because this is the only way this move could have really hurt TS and further validates TS’s proclaimed hatred towards the dude.

3. It’s a vindictive move from Karlie, but this assumes that Kaylor underwent a very volatile breakup. KK like everyone knows that she’s performing, could have known from 🛴/ just a hunch that she’ll win and chose to spite TS cos when she walked to the podium, she forgot yet again to say her name. If this was true though, and I was her wanting to incite violence, I would’ve posted it on my assets with a larger reach esp to TS fanbase and watch as the world burns with all headlines linking both of them. Furthermore, I would neither have posted a picture of myself dancing in a cardigan by the woods 13 days before Folklore, nor hugged a stupid tree when Folklore dropped and caption it my happy place because I hate her and I should have known nothing about that surprise album drop that plain oat was only privy to.

4. It’s a cocky move from JK like everyone knows that she’s performing, could have known from 🛴/ just a hunch that she’ll win and chose to spite TS by syncing his announcement because of sheer insecurity. This totally does not make sense to me because if it is indeed his baby and Karlie’s, and he is a businessman, he would either not care bec getting Karlie knocked up should be enough of a flex and he should’ve been more worried about his hedge fund’s current performance. If he was an intelligent businessman as well, he would’ve used KK’s platform that had more reach esp to the right target market.

5. It’s a pure plain koincidence, YET AGAIN, not a lot going on here. 🙄

6. Other possibilities I haven’t thought about that could also possibly be true as we are all just speculating here.

Whew. That was long. My best bets are either 1 / 2. What do you think?

Roger according to Freddie’s driver

From an interview with Freddie’s driver Peter Jones, posted to Queenzone in 2005: the whole interview was, according to this thread, taken down after it was posted there, but someone quoted this bit so it’s still there:

Did you get on well with the other members of Queen?

Yeah, very well. I probably got on better with Roger really. We would go back to the hotel and Freddie would normally have a number with him. At one point, before Peter Freestone turned up, I would have to share… well, in Munich, we’d all have the Presidential Suite, which would be a bedroom one end, a bedroom the other end, with inter-communicating doors, and a sitting room and dining room and all the rest of it… he’d have his room and I would have mine, but then I’d be on call 24 hours, I couldn’t get away from it. It suited me to let Freestone get his foot further under the table, cos it took the pressure off of me, you know, he’d be calling on him, instead of me. So when we went back to the hotel, there was always millions of bloody tarts about, you couldn’t fight them off with a stick! And we’d either go back to my room or we’d go back to Roger’s room, and many a night we’d go back to Roger’s room and oblige the ladies and then see them off! And then Roger would be going on about when he first met Freddie; how Freddie was always sort of hanging around… he painted quite a sort of vivid picture about him not really being wanted around that much at the time. But Freddie would push himself... until the perseverance paid off. And the market stall thing, according to Roger, Freddie used to go and hang around there and that type of thing. So Roger and I really did have some deep conversations, which you do when you’re bombed out of your head… you sit and talk for hours about the silliest and sometimes most personal of things. I think that’s probably why he got on better with Freddie, than Deacy or Brian did. He was able to open up. He was a lovely guy, a really lovely guy. I’m sure if we met again now it wouldn’t be any different to what it was... we’d pick up from where we left off… but really I think that’s all water under the bridge now.

TayLiz Returns (August 2011 - January 2012)

Now, Taylor’s music suggests her and Liz got back together and broke up a bunch of times. It’s kind of hard to pinpoint that exactly, since they’re on tour together constantly and can’t really have a break from each other that would be discernable by an outside source such as myself. 5 September 2011 - Taylor and Dianna Agron meet for the first time at the Fairfax Flea Market after being introduced by mutual friend, Ashley, who was working for Dianna’s hairstylist at the time. Dianna had lowkey outed herself that summer with #Shirtgate and considering all the mess going on with Liz, it’s possible Ashley (among Taylor’s other friends) were looking to introduce her to someone else.

8 September 2011 - Taylor diaries about writing Red the previous day and then recording it:

In a later interview, Taylor described Red like this:

“So this is a song that I wrote about the kind of relationship that is both the best thing and the worst thing at the same time and that’s why you can’t forget about it. It’s called Red.”

So, I have a two big theories about Taylor writing and recording Red at this point in the timeline:

1) TayLiz have IMMEDIATELY broken up again after the Charleston trip, and that’s why a mutual friend decided to introduce Taylor to Dianna.

2) Taylor and Liz are about to get back together again, and Taylor writes Red as a way of looking back on what she had with Liz back in 2009 before diving into a relationship with her again.

I’m leaning towards 2, but 1 could be true too. Who knows?

13 September 2011 - Rodarte show at NY Fashion Week. Taylor is interviewed by Vogue while there. She says there’s “just been this earth-shattering, not recent, but absolute crash and burn heartbreak” and that that’s what the next album is about. This really makes me think TayLiz breaks up IMMEDIATELY again after Charleston.

Taylor also gives these four things she’s learned about love and life recently:

16 September 2011 - Speak Now in Nashville. Taylor brings out Hayley as a special guest, they sing “That’s What You Get.” Hayley would later say she was surprised Taylor didn’t ask for Misery Business as That’s What You Get wasn’t one of their more popular songs at the time. (Keep in mind this is the song TayLiz jammed to years ago at the Paramore concert):

This song makes me think there’s a lot of back and forth happening between TayLiz right now if we look at it lyrically. However, things could be great in TayLiz land and Taylor just chose to perform this song because she knew Liz liked it.

19 September 2011 - Liz performs Jenny Turn Around with Tyler Hilton after Speak Now in Nashville. Tyler tells a story about how he went to the TS concert just before and Taylor had said that her and Liz both really love this song.

Duuuuude, your Rich Bitch fic sounds amazing, like I'm a sucker for those gala-Peter-is-overwelmed-and-out-of-his-element-needs-guidance/protection-and/or-embarrasses-himself kind of fics, but your whole thing sounds like such a fresh and new take on the popular trope, it's very interesting!! Therefore.... My next question IS: what about the "Pick up 5 + 1" - what's that about???

It was going to be “5 Times Tony Picked Peter Up And The 1 Time Peter Returned The Favor,” or something like that. If I remember correctly, my plan was to explore different connotations of the phrase “pick up.” For example, you can pick someone up emotionally, you can pick them up from a party, you can physically pick them up and carry them, etc. The +1 was going to be having Peter use his super-strength to save Tony’s life in an emergency. I couldn’t find the outline, which is buried in one of my notebooks, but that was essentially the idea.

And, since I’m probably never going to finish this (I think there’s already a fic that’s basically has this title, and that’s why I abandoned it) but since I did actually write about 1000 words of a first chapter/section, I’ll just slap it here for y’all to semi-enjoy.

Tony got the first text from Peter at the glorious time of 1:58 am.

He was, of course, not asleep. He was sitting at the kitchen island, munching on a post-midnight snack, but still. The principle remained.

He snorted, typing out his response with one hand while bringing his sandwich back up to his mouth with the other.

TS: got you

A second later, his phone lit up with Peter’s contact picture. He let it ring a few times to give the impression that he was caught off guard, then answered it.

“What’s up, Pete?”

“Hey, Mister Stark.” To an untrained ear, Peter’s voice was as normal as could be. But Tony knew the kid well enough to detect the barest trace of discomfort. Wherever he was, he really didn’t want to be there. “I, uh, I have a question.”

“Shoot.”

“I know I’m supposed to be at the Tower by 2:30,” that wasn’t true, but he went along with it anyway, “but my friends and I really wanna go to get some food, so can I stay out later or do I really need to come back now?”

“No, Parker.” He made his voice sharp and stern, putting on the perfect show of over-strict-parent that he’d learned from Howard Stark himself. “I gave you a curfew, and I expect you to stick to it. No exceptions.”

He heard muffled voice in the background: obviously Peter’s friends trying to convince him to beg.

“Please, Mister Stark?”

“I said no, Peter.” He stood, and waved to F.R.I.D.A.Y. to shut down the lights as he headed for the elevator. “I’m coming to get you. Where are you?”

“Mister Stark.” Despite the over-exaggerated whine, he could sense the relief in Peter’s voice. “Please?”

“Don’t argue. You’re coming home.” He wandered out into the garage and lazily picked on of his older Audis. It was dark, and late, and he didn’t really feel like putting on too much of a show. “Now, are you going to give me an address, or do I have to track your phone?”

Peter groaned. Tony could swear he could hear him stomping his feet in the background. In all honesty, he was impressed by his dedication to the act. “Fine.”

The kid rattled off an address. F.R.I.D.A.Y. calculated that it would take him about 20 minutes to arrive, taking into account current traffic condition. He conveyed that back to Peter, then hung up.

As it turned out, the address Peter gave him was to a bodega on a random street corner on the westernmost side of Queens. He was loitering there with his friends, a little unsteady on his feet and cheeks flushed under the streetlight. A quick survey of group told Tony that these were not Peter’s usual crowd. No MJ or Ned in sight.

Plus, MJ and Ned would’ve never let the kid get tipsy. He hadn’t been able to hear it through the phone, but he could see it now. He felt a flash of annoyance at the kid for galivanting around the city whilst intoxicated in the early hours of the morning, but pushed it down. He’d done much worse, at Peter’s age, and he hadn’t had superpowers to back him up.

He rolled down his window and glared, trying to force as much parental anger into it as possible. “Peter Parker, get your ass in the car this instant.”

“Mister Stark,” one of the kids asked, staggering significantly more than Peter. Where Peter was just dipping his toe into the ocean of drunkenness, this kid was clearly trashed. “Are you sure that Peter can’t stay?”

“Absolutely positive.” He turned his attention back to Peter. “Come on, Parker. We have a lot to discuss.”

Peter waved a morose goodbye to his friends and stalked towards the car, yanking open the passenger side door, flinging himself into the seat, and slamming it shut behind him.

The kid pulled his seatbelt over himself, fumbling with it for a few seconds before Tony reached over and latched it for him, then slouched into the window with a huff.

“I’m saying something really rude to you right now,” the kid snapped.

He put the car in drive, checked his mirror, then floored it while flickering an artificially disapproving look in Peter’s direction. “And I’m telling you that if you speak to me like that again, you’re grounded.”

They turned off on a different block, Peter’s friends disappearing around the bend.

Peter let out a laugh, false tension melting away. He pulled away from the window and shot Tony a lopsided thumbs up. “You’re the best at that.”

“At what?”

“At pretending to be pissed.”

He shot a sidelong glance at Peter, briefly considered stringing him along and pretending to actually be mad, then discarded it in favor of matching his smile. “Yeah, well, you’re not too bad yourself. Even if you are drunk.”

“I’m not that drunk.”

“No,” he agreed. “Although I’d love to know how much you had to drink to get there.”

“Oh, my god, Tony,” Peter said, seeming to take Tony’s easy demeanor and running with it. “So much. Like, a scary amount.”

He shot him a sidelong glace, just on the edge of disproving. The kid still shrank underneath it. “Not exactly my favorite thing you’ve ever told me.”

Peter winced. “Am I, uh, am I in trouble?”

“No,” he sighed. “It’s alright. We’ve all been there. Just, uh, just maybe don’t drink on street corners at 2:00 am, yeah? Just for my poor heart’s sake.”

“We didn’t drink on the street corner.”

“You’re not helping yourself.”

“I’m just telling you the truth!”

“Yeah, y’know what? Sometimes I kinda wish that you’d do a little less of that.”

“C’mon, don’t say that. I’m a model child.” Peter went quiet for a second, then nudged his arm from across the center console, tone dipping into something much more sincere. “Thanks for getting me, Mister Stark. Honestly, I was pretty bored.”

He smiled, eyes still fixed on the road, but watching the kid stare at him in his peripheral.

“Anytime, kid. I’m way cheaper than an Uber, anyway.”

“And much nicer,” Peter added.

He laughed. “Oh, I’d better be.”

Sorry, it's taken me so long to reply to you but I wanted to find and provide some links with more information on the things I will be mentioning.

Now I'm going to do my best to give a quick rundown of Louis and Harry's history touching upon some of the bigger theories but Larry is a lot, it's multiple theories and years of history and multiple things seemingly happening at once like doing the research for this I fell down this hole all over again because there's just so much so this turned bigger than I was planning but let's get into this...

For those that don't know Louis and Harry are singer-songwriters that started their careers as members of the group One Direction. From pretty early on in the conception of the band fans noticed the close relationship between Louis and Harry and it wasn't too long before tumblr gave them a couple name: Larry Stylinson.

Now, all 5 boys were close and got along well but Larry was magical to look at:

And what at first was a tumblr/fandom thing kept growing to the point it left fandom in a way I'd never seen before and have yet to see again with a lot of focus being put on Larries (people who believe in larry) themselves with articles being written about the theories and those who believe in them in an often mocking way; Larries were turned into villains, mocked and painted as silly little fangirls by the fandom and the media, and to this day we are still looked upon that way by those in and outside the fandom (and even by those who were once larries but that's a convo for another day).

Point is Larry grew and theories are aplenty, so let's look at some of them…

Theory #1: Louis and Harry are/were romantically involved and made to hide their relationship by management.

As I said, there's a lot of theories surrounding these two but this is I'd say the original one, the biggest one, and the one a lot of other theories come back to; I don't know when speculation about the boys' sexuality and their relationship started but it has been going on for years to the point, as I said, that it left the fandom.

The theory is self-explanatory: Harry and Louis have been together since their X Factor days but made to hide their relationship by their management for years, and all the girlfriends they have had publicly have been beards including Miss TS herself. (As a bonus fact, that made a lot of people in this fandom dislike her, and some think it’s because of Larry or because she was dating Harry, no it’s because she shaded him multiple times.)

You probably noticed that I said "are/were", the reason for that is that there are some larries (are you still a larrie if you think they've broken up?) that believe Louis and Harry were together but have since broken up. That's not the case with all larries since there are also plenty who believe they are still together, and some who even think they got married in 2013, I'll talk about that a little bit more later on, for now, let's go back to the early years and some of the things that made people believe in this love story:

Other than the heart eyes, soft touches, and overall fondness displayed towards each other by both boys there was…

That time in a radio interview when the boys were asked about girlfriends or boyfriends and Harry said Louis’ boyfriend and management were heard saying to take that bit out. Now there is some debate about whether Harry said Louis’ boyfriend or we're all each other's boyfriends so I suggest taking a close listen.

Harry saying his first real crush was Louis and that it was mutual.

The autograph signing where a fan asked Harry if he and Louis were dating and he said yes.

Louis being asked if he does romantic things for his partner and answering he once cooked a chicken stuffed with mozzarella wrapped in parma ham (a dish he mentions often) but he's also said in the past he's only cooked one proper meal and his first cooking experience was with Harry.

Those are just some of the reasons people believe in Larry, it's not even the tip of the iceberg; I'll be talking about the tattoos and song lyrics in just a minute but before we move on to the next theory I do want to add what happened with Larry in the public eye.

Those familiar with my blog know about separate narratives well Larry didn't get a separate narrative they got an "enemies" narrative. When the rumors got too big about them they got shoved farther into the closet, they rarely interacted, they weren't seen together and rumors were spread through managements favorite gossip newspapers that they were feuding and hated each other.

And to this day some fans and solo stans claim this to be true even though Louis has complimented Harry on his solo music, said he’s proud of Harry work in the movie Dunkirk, said in an interview that Harry messaged him congrats when he released his single:

and Harry follows a bunch Larry accs and Louis fan accs on twitter.

Theory #2: Complementary tattoos.

Also, called matching tattoos by some but they're actually more complimentary not matching but anyways this is another reason why some believe in Larry, it technically falls under fact but for this answer, I'm going to present it as a theory simply because neither of the boys has outright confirmed that their tattoos are meant to complement each other.

Harry and Louis have several complimentary tattoos there's the famous rose(Harry) and dagger(Louis):

Theory #3. RBB and SBB

This one is harder to explain, and as far as I know, it's still a fandom mystery.

It all starts when at some point during the boys' Where We Are tour a fan throws a rainbow teddy bear on stage. Someone kept the bear, put some tape on it to make it into bondage bear and the bear got a twitter account. Yes, the stuffed bear got a twitter account, I know it sounds insane but it's a thing that actually happened. At first, it's just silly fun with the bear appearing on tour and tweeting, at some point the bear gets named Rainbow Bondage Bear or RBB by the fans, then the bears twitter acc gets suspended and he is not seen again.

The boys start a new tour, their last tour, the On the Road Again Tour.

The boys are back on the road and so is RBB! Once again, at first, everything is silly fun with the bear appearing on stage when one day out of the blue….a second bear! A small one. This second bear gets labeled Sugar Baby Bear or SBB. The bears are always together, the costumes get more elaborate, the boys don't acknowledge them, and the fans have no clue who is behind it all.

Then things get weird…er, the bears start posing with props including books like a biography of someone coming to terms with their sexuality.

And remember how I said some fans theorize Harry and Louis got married back in 2013? Well, on September 24th the bears appear as always on stage, this time dressed in wedding outfits in front of a signed picture of a man named Larry. On the 29th Harry tweets:

The theory is that Harry and Louis got married on September 28th, 2013.

The number 28 does seem to have a lot of significance for the boys with Louis even having it tattooed on his body.

And there was that recent "Louis Styles" moment from Roman Kemp who is from my understanding friends with Harry. And after that happened Christian Saad who Louis follows tweeted (and later deleted):

Make of that what you will.

Back to the bears...after that things get even weirder, the bears get security, they get another twitter account, they keep posing with props, things get more and more elaborate and none of the boys acknowledge it. At one point the boys are set to appear on Kimmel and a really mocking potato bit is done which offends fans, that same night RBB and SBB post a picture looking as angry as two stuffed bears can be next to a box of mashed potatoes.

When the boys are finally asked about the bears all of them immediately look at Louis - and I just have to say Niall's reaction will never not make me laugh - and when he says nothing Harry says he believes it was the crew, and the boys act like they have no idea what is being talked about.

The theory is that Harry and Louis were behind RBB and SBB and were using the bears as a way to communicate with fans.

Theory #4: Song Lyrics.

Okay, last theory we will be discussing on this ask. I hope you’re still with me on this way longer than intended post.

As I said in the beginning, both boys are songwriters and it is theorized that both have written songs about each other and their relationship. There are parallels in their lyrics and Music Videos* (*Walls and Lights Up also have similar themes song-wise.)

Among the songs that are said to be about each other is Habit from Louis first album Walls, which contains the lyric:

“come so far from princess park”

And Sweet Creature from Harry’s first album:

“And, oh, we started Two hearts in one home”

The lyrics I highlighted are significant because Harry and Louis lived together in Princess Park Manor.

And if you take a close look at the lyrics both songs also have similar themes, with both being about a relationship that has its struggles but they’re both still deeply in love with the person.

Now Harry was actually asked in an interview if Sweet Creature was about Louis and after stumbling a bit he eventually answered that he didn’t want to tell anyone that they’re wrong on what they’re feeling about a song even if they’re not necessarily right but he thinks if you really listen to the lyrics you can work out whether it’s about that or not and he leans towards no.

It’s pretty funny to hear him stumble around for an answer that could have been answered with a simple yes or no.

A funny comparison that was often done is that in another interview Harry was asked about another one of his songs, ‘Two Ghost’ and if it was about TS because it was rumored on the media that it was; he tries to dodge the question at first but when the radio host introduces the song as the one about TS Harry screams out and shouts ‘NO!’.

Something to note is that Harry’s stumbled through answer on whether or not Sweet Creature is about Louis is presented in the media as Harry flat out squashing those rumors, while Harry’s scream of ‘no’ during his Two Ghost question is ignored with the media focusing instead on him saying that it’s self-explanatory, with some acting like its confirmation and some even writing articles about all the TS hints in the lyrics.
