Posting it on main too, but here's my contribution to the @hoshinokaabi-secretsanta with a gift for @mastercrowned!! All of the given prompts were So Delightful, but in the end I had to go with drawing Morpho ordering a Kirby Burgie (or maybe 10) asdlkgjn
version without the text bubble under the cut!
This whole event was a Delight to participate in! Had I more time and energy I would have Defo scribbled out more, but for Now pls enjoy my Favorite part of the image that Unfortunately got masked by the completed piece which is.

I just finished the 4.2 Archon Quest and i can't help but continue to be suspicious of Zhongli for being the only version of him to ever exists in Teyvat.
There are the nameless Bard and Venti.
There are Makoto and Ei.
There are Rukkhadevata and Nahida.
and now Focalors and Furina.
Every Archon has some kind of Double or Doppelganger, or simply a Mirrorself - someone who LOOKS and acts like the first or tries to live the former dreams, goals and ideals. They aren't the only one with their face, there were at some point two of them in Teyvat (As if they were twins, but only one remained...well, in case of makoto and ei that's literally what happend but you get it) There already once was someobody conscious with the Face the current Archon wears.
Except for Zhongli. He is the only one with a face that belongs just to him. There is no counterpart or mirror, no friend or sibling, he didnt split himself into two, his face is unique and yet he is also the only one who keeps it hidden in every cutscene...

On February 27th, 2023, in the early morning hours, I finished watching Our Flag Means Death for the first time. Since then, I've rewatched it countless times, I started reading fanfiction for the first time, I started writing it, I scoured the internet for any scraps of S2 content before it finally arrived, I squealed at the S2 teaser trailer, I rejoiced in the premiere of S2 with everyone else, I went to a friend's place at 11:50 PM so we could watch new episodes as soon as they aired, I downloaded memes and photos and fanart pieces, I saw bad takes and shitty takes and good takes and fantastic takes about the show, I waited anxiously for either renewal or cancellation, and when we finally got an answer I worked with everyone to reverse the decision.
In the course of a year, maybe 60-75% of my free time has been spent reading fanfic. In the course of a year, I've downloaded over one thousand OFMD memes. In the course of a year, I've rewatched Ed and Stede's first kiss on YouTube hundreds of times.
All of this in the past year. I'm so happy I finally sat down to watch this show, so I could fall in love with Ed and the crew and Spanish Jackie and Mary Bonnet and Stede Fucking Bonnet. So I could love/hate Izzy Hands and the Badmintons. So I could straight up hate Calico Jack (because seriously, fuck that guy).
Simply put, this show has brought me joy. David Jenkins and the entire cast and crew behind him have made something so special, so precious. And I cannot thank them enough for it.

KAZEEEE YOU'VE PLAYED AND FINISHED IN STARS AND TIME?? THAT'S SO EXCITING!! How did you feel about it :O?
(also as i was sending this ask, i just saw your updated bio and thats SUCH A MOOD LOL)
SAMMY THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FOR PUTTING IT ON MY DASH!!!!! THAT WAS HOW I HEARD ABOUT IT!!!!! Also thank you for asking because I've been writing this mini essay in my head in the shower. <3
I was like, shrugs, I like time travel and I like indie games, and wow it is very positively rated I suppose I must give it a try, and then proceeded to procrastinate on that for a few weeks ;; teehee!
But yeah, it became like one of my top three games ever in the first half hour.. Things like "storytelling through gameplay," and "ENJOYABLE & interesting turn-based combat," and "characters that feel so Human and Real in addition to being deeply relatable," really gets me on board! And also, now that I've finished, I can say the story goes really hard too.
I actually didn't realize the cast was LGBTQ+ before I started playing, so that was a fantastic surprise. And the setting is expertly designed with this in mind! This game is angled to talk about the queer experience while being dynamically interwoven with the themes and setting - and It was a great experience for me to see, in particular, aro and/or ace characters portrayed excellently - both thematically and realistically!!!
I'm very impressed with how they show and they tell the characters' relationship with their own sense of self, and their sense of other's people's experiences. .. That's the best way I can explain it without giving specific examples!~
Anyway I have been chipping away at it for the past week in my spare time and stayed up to 3am last night, emotionally compromised, to finish it.
How fantastic! The payoffs, the story beats, the character's growth! It's everything I could have wanted. Absolutely worth anyone's time.
I played on the Nintendo Switch (regular), and while there was minor lag at some points, it didn't negatively effect my experience much at all. I have now purchased it on steam, and I'm going to try for 100% achievements (there is no achievement system on switch)! I found that i missed quite a few things in my blind playthrough, so I hope to catch everything in this upcoming one!
to conclude, have some siffrin doodles I did today <3
