If hisuian zoroarks are the vengeful spirits of dead Pokémon, how did Zemmet die? Or do you think that hisuian zoruas life cycles can be more complicated than that?
Either way.. baby Zemmet 🥺?
Even if it's not canon compliant I imagine hisuian zoroarks to be a subspecies of zoroark that stemmed from an original generation of dead zoroarks, since the existence of hisuian zoruas seems to imply that they're naturally born that way ? So in other words I think Zemmet has always been a ghost zoroark. It would b kinda cool/fucked up if h zoroarks purposefully left their puppies outside to die of exposure or something to make them ghosts
#mailbox#B YEAH . I have also been having many thoughts about this too#<- i think h zoroarks very much feel like an issue of generational trauma (?) if that makes sense#like . first generation of zoroarks that actually die HATE humans and end up passing that down to the next (naturally born) generation#and so on in that manner#bc it's probably pretty rough on the highlands. i'd imagine h zoroarks can't really afford to be 'nice'#<-so zemmet's very very bitter after a lifetime of scraping by out in the snow#so at some point ingo just . straight up starts petting zemmet and tells him that he's safe in his den#and zem [literally never had human contact b4] instantly comes apart and has o desperately act like he's not crying#v much a wolf vs lapdog thing . oh it would b so peaceful to relax and be loved by a nice human#later (in unova) he's hanging out with his new sister watching plum play around in the grass#and is suddenly struck by the realization that his species is effectively extinct#and like. he values strength and resilience so much but maybe ?#it's good that a species made out of hatred & cruelty is extinct#and watching a baby zorua play around like . ALIVE and happy and actually safe w/ her family#plum has a chance at life that zemmet never rlly got‚ being born a h zoroark#and even tho he's had to pride himself on his ability to 'survive' he has to decide to not pass that on to plum#and protect her so she can be safe and happy like he never really got to be in hisui#if that makes sense ?#<- actually no this is incomprehensible . but neway brainworms

How would a touch-starved Isaac react to the people close to him (Alesia, possibly the Farmer) giving him a hug? Maybe it's an emotional moment, or a darker moment where they're going on a mission where one or both of them may not come back alive.
In general, I find Isaac to be quite contradictory in these situations. He's really touch-starved, but he's also stubborn and too proud to admit it. Isaac believes that showing emotion in particularly dangerous situations is just a death sentence, and not just for himself, but for others who are in trouble with him. So I think that Isaac will react to Farmer's hug in life-threatening situations in a rather harsh and cold way. If it's Alesia, the situation will be a little different (he'll be shocked that a brave warrior and talented sniper would show weakness right now), but the reaction will be the same (maybe not as harsh as with Farmer). Isaac isn't emotionless, he's just trying to survive and save others from a monsters who happens to be much stronger. He's already had to lose a lot of friends because of a weakness shown at the wrong time, and the scarred adventurer can't let that happen again.
If the situation is calm, then there will be a completely different scenario. After all, Isaac is human too, and has the ability to understand and compassion. Even though he still maintains his status as a tough and unwavering adventurer, he will never deny Alesia a hug when they are alone and the sniper pours out all her feelings on Isaac. Alesia is in charge of protecting the walls of Castle Village - not an easy task, it must be said, and the responsibility weighs on her shoulders like a stone. Isaac is no fool, knows perfectly well how hard his friend is trying for the good of the entire village. He also knows that he can trust Alesia when his own emotions, pain and sadness overwhelm his heart and all pride goes to hell. Those moments are very rare, but Isaac knows that sometimes he needs to let all the pain out and give himself to the embrace of a friend (or more than a friend. I'm generally ship Isaac/Alesia, but also don't mind seeing them as friends as well).
Isaac will not be as frank with Farmer as he is with Alesia, tho. Hugging is a very personal, I would even say intimate thing for Isaac, so he won't hug just anyone (even though he's touch-starved). Unless Farmer is his best friend/partner, they are in the "just anyone" category, so - no hugs will be allowed by his pride and caution. What's funny though is that if Farmer gets emotional and hugs Isaac and starts crying, the confused adventurer will stand awkwardly and also awkwardly pat Farmer's back with his hand, saying like, uh okay, you can cry I guess. A comical and awkward situation, Camilla will definitely get a laugh out of Isaac's face when he becomes confused.
So... my verdict: give this lonely bitch a hug!

thoughts on halfas I guess
Vlad Due to the nature of his accident, Vlad took a long time to come into his powers and really isn’t all that powerful at a basic level. What he has going for him is a stable human form and lots of time/training. Vlad stated that he spent “years” in the hospital from his ectoacne. I submit that he didn’t become half-ghost right away, instead sweating and suffering through ectoplasm contamination for like 2-3 years as it very slowly converted and eventually stabilized him as a halfa. Like going through that alone? Your friends not visiting you and going off and getting married without you? No wonder he’s bitter. His ghostly obsession is with control and power after going years without it. He actually generally forgot about the Fentons for a long time, very out of sight, out of mind. Only when he got the notice about the reunion did his obsession with latched onto them, determined to rewrite past wrongs and have power over those who hurt him (maddie as his forced lover and jack dead). This desire mostly switched over to controlling danny once he knew about him.
It took him a long while to get a grip on his powers once he stabilized, even simple ghostly tricks took a while to master. His desire to master them was helped/contributed to his obsession with power and control. Even the most basic of ghostly abilities took Vlad months if not years to get a handle on. It was also a struggle bc there really wasn’t any ghosts he could ask. Not just because of his pride being unwilling to ask for help (tho that did play a part) but also without a stable portal there’s not much access to the Zone/ghosts in general. He had to rely on natural portals opening and then somehow find his way back. He once got lost and was gone for 7 months real time. On the flipside, as a consequence of his powers building slowly with minimal ecto-contamination, Vlad is a very stable halfa. It would take a lot to kill him from either human or ghostly threats. His fire core is strong, steady but it never burns hot enough to hurt him. He constantly feels feverish (100-102F/38-39C) but its never enough to actively be a threat to his living body.
Danny Oh boy, where do I start with Danno? I stated above that Vlad took a long time with his powers and is a moderately powerful but stable halfa? Danny is the exact opposite. Homeboy but his ass deep-fried in ectoplasm, an intense jolt that immediately bonded ectoplasm to him skipping the majority of the ecto-contamination period Vlad suffered through while also ‘charging’ him. While it still took time to gain control of his powers, he had the power and ability to use them straight away. Vlad was secretly shocked to learn Danny had only had his powers a few months when they met. It took him years to reach that level of power/proficiency. He is, at his baseline, an incredibly powerful ghost both because of his halfa status but by the nature of how he got his powers. Like in a year he defeated ghosts far older and more experienced than him. It scares a lot of them though they won’t admit to it.
Vlad especially is worried that Danny is a shooting star, burning so brightly early on that he’ll burn and fade quickly. That future is very possible if he keeps pushing his powers as hard as he does throughout the series. If he doesn’t start slowing down by the time he finishes his adolescence then his human half will just give out. All that is basically a roundabout way of saying that Danny, as compared to Vlad, is a very unstable halfa. Too much power, relatively weak human body that cant quite contain all the energy while under constant stress. He’s more powerful naturally but he walks a very fine line, if he leans too far into one of his halves (overexerting himself as Fenton or Phantom) he could destabilize. It’s one reason that Vlad’s Danny clones had a hard time surviving, his ectosignature is incredibly tenuous and unstable and can only maintain under very certain circumstances.
Danny’s instability is both improved and worsened by the maturation of his ice core. On the one hand, it helps stabilize his ghost form by concentrating his ectoenergy within his body. It gives him greater control of his powers meaning he doesn’t have to exert himself quite so much. On the other hand, the natural consequences of his ice core really are stressful to Dan’s human body. While his body was completely changed and adapted to being made half-ghost it still has human needs and thus can’t be, like, completely frozen. Danny’s body is constantly at war with itself, Phantom trying to cool the body down to subzero temperatures for the health of its core while Fenton tries to keep the body somewhat warm for basic human purposes. He levels out somewhere around 93-95F/34-35C which is still hypothermic for normal people but he tolerates it. As Phantom, when he’s using his ice, there’s a mental thermometer in his head telling him when he needs to stop and warm up a bit. A bad fever or intense heat would be deadly to him as well. Basically Danny needs to learn to self regulate his powers, to not overuse them and respect his physical limits or he won’t make it to adulthood.
Danielle So Dani, taking cues from the sections above to talk about her. Gonna start by straight up saying that Dani isn’t human or really technically alive in a traditional sense. She is, however, a new type of ghost that closely mimics life. She has the advantage of having a true consciousness like a human, an ability to think and change outside of obsession and while she does ‘breathe’, ‘sleep’ and ‘eat’ her body doesn’t truly require it if it comes down to it. Downside is she isn’t like really alive alive and doesn’t have a real living body which makes her more prone to destabilizing (this will be an issue her whole life, the Fentons are constantly giving her injections and such to keep her together) and also doesn’t have human advantages like a living body to stabilize her or the ability to phase through ghost objects.
I spent a good long while saying that Danny himself is unstable and all of Vlad’s clones destabilized because of it. So what made Danielle different? Vlad combined some of his own core to hers in an experimental attempt to stop his clones from melting at the drop of a hat. It worked as Dani was the most stable of all the others but Vlad could sense his own energy in her, knew her core was not a true copy of Danny’s so he ceased that line of experimentation. As Dani develops and matures, more bits of Vlad pop up in her. She wakes up with fangs one day, sometimes Vlad’s control/power obsession bleeds into her and she develops a fire core, like him. Her core really upsets her, thinking she’s like him. Danny helps her work through it, saying her core doesn’t define her, that she’s not Vlad or Danny but her own person. They make a deadly combo, the fire and ice Phantom cousins, his hair misting like freshly fallen snow while hers crackles like a flame. They just gotta watch that they don’t freeze/overheat the other.

Hi I hope you're fine! Can you make the reaction of the brothers to a Mc who managed to overtake Salomon and made 100 pacts, the 100 th being ... Diavolo himself ?! (idk if it is really possible) Thank you love on you
I don’t really know if it’s possible either but I gave it a go anyway! I love this concept tho because MC, being the powerhouse they are, now has absolute control of 100 demons one which is actual prince of hell. Idk why I find that funny tbh.
I hope you’re well too and that you enjoy reading these HCs!
————————————
The Brothers Reacting to MC who made 100 pacts:
Lucifer:
-*Surprised pikachu face*
-I’m sorry, w a t?
-Not only did an average human, with no magical capabilities whatsoever, beat a spectacular sorcerer in the span of just one year and managed to make 100 pacts before him
-But they also made a pact with Lord Diavolo as a grand finale??? (MC knows how to leave DevilDom with class holy shit)
-If you look closely enough, you can see Lucifer’s wheels spinning inside his head
-And here he thought you were going to get eaten in the first few days
-He needs to sit down for a few moments, his fucking logic has decided to take a walk
-He really went 0-0
-And on one hand, he’s totally impressed and actually very proud of their little exchange student
-But on the other hand, when tf did you have the time to make 100 pacts??
-You talked with at least 92 other demons and didn’t get murdered?
-Are all humans this hard to kill off or it just you?
-Taking aside his confusion and the way he worries like a middle aged parent, he’s actually pretty boastful about your situation
-Pride on another level, I’m telling you
- Pretty smug about it to Solomon too which is concerning because he isn’t really supposed to have favourites in the exchange program
-But he totally does
-“MC, you’re full of surprises aren’t you? You’re ability to adapt here is very impressive. Just don’t get too reckless, I don’t want you getting hurt.”
-Aw your tsundere and arrogant boyfriend actually really cares about your well being
Mammon:
-“But I’m still your first man, right?”
-Literally the first thing that leaves his mouth when he finds out
-Doesn’t matter how many pacts you make, he’s always going to insist he’s your first and therefore your best pact of them all
-He may freak out a bit at first because he doesn’t like the idea of you possibly chatting it up with other demons but he’s pretty chill
-Until you tell him about Lord Diavolo
-“Guess who just made a pact with Lord Diavolo!!”
-“Is it someone famous?”
-He’s a bit scared because the price you have to pay to be in a pact with Lord Diavolo is pretty damn high
-But if you keep insisting you will be fine, his worry will subside
-He’s a bit smug, like Lucifer, knowing you beat a powerful sorcerer in a non existent contest that he just made up in his mind
-Like “In your face Solomon, MY HUMAN got to make 100 pacts before you had the chance. Haha what a loser.”
-I feel like the brothers sometimes wish to just abandon Mammon somehowere so they don’t have to deal with this
-Dude doesn’t care how many pacts you have or with who as long as you remember ‘he was your first man.’
-Of course you of all people would be able to attain such a significant achievement
-You were his human after all
-No matter what you do, he will be even more smitten with you than before
Levi:
-“That’s cool. Will you pass me my headphones.”
-“....”
-“Wait....you did whAT?”
-You’re telling him that he barely has the courage to step outside the House of Lamentation but you can go right ahead and start making pacts with demons like it’s nothing???
-Did he just get beaten at life by a normie?? His normie even??
-He’s really panicking because the shit you’d have to deal with when making that kind of bond with Lord Diavolo is apparently very terrifying and he’s scared something bad will happen
-Pacts also mean markings on your body, so his whole jealousy thing kinda sparks here
-Because ‘it’s not fair you have all these people’s pact marks on you while mine is barely visible!”
-Even though his is like, really obvious too???
-Other than that, he just feels like you’re gaining EXP and getting stronger, like a video game character which is cool
-I want him to show up whenever MC gets in a new pact and just shout ‘Level Up!’ at the top of his lungs lmao
-He doesn’t have that much of an opinion on Solomon, besides his cooking, but he’s impressed and a bit scared that you can outdo a human like him in something as dangerous as this
-Lololololo, Solomon got wrecked by a human normie what a noob XD XD #badassnormie #solomoncanteven #gameoversorcerer
-The brothers seem pretty adamant at rubbing the salt into Solomon’s wounds, can we get an f in the chat for our white haired wizard boi
Satan:
-He knew that humans were capable of a lot of things but what the fuck?
-How is that even possible???? What is the likelyhood of a random human managing to make 100 pacts???
-He is probably the most unsettled because he relies on probability and logic to get him through his day to day life
-And that shit don’t make no fucking sense
-He’s not agitated, just very shocked
-And then he realises the potential threats you’ve been exposed to considering all the demons you’ve had a chat with
-So now he’s just thanking Lord Diavolo that you weren’t eaten alive by some lower level demon scum
-Don’t be surprised if he asks you how you went about when you started making pacts with demons
-You were always a bit of a special case and you certainly stood out from the very beginning but this was something completely different
-For a human like you, that is a very respected achievement you’ve unlocked
-Satan figures that since you made pacts with him and his brothers, you would try to do so with Lord Diavolo too
-But he actually accepted?? You just kinda gave up part of your soul to the demon prince and now you have full control over him???
-It’s amazing how easily you could make demons of all things to trust you
-He respects that and also appreciates your tactical approach to this as well
-It’d be pretty easy to summon a demon to get your ass out of danger if the need arises
-He has no idea what you do to him but it’s strange he would rather let you ramble on about the backstory of every pact you made in the past year than read his collection of books
-Wrath certainly isn’t the only thing in his heart right now
Asmo:
-#conflicted
-His partner beat his ex fuck-buddy at making a pact with Lord Diavolo
-Asmo knew you were special ever since that retreat at Lord Diavolo’s palace when you managed to summon him with such power
-But he definitely wouldn’t have guessed you would be capable of something like this
-Your bravery when it comes to this sort of thing endears him a lot
-He will probably want to see all of your pact marks now (haha you’re in danger)
-Unlike his brothers, he knew damn well why you had managed to make around 100 pacts in just one year
-Demons aren’t used to anything genuine or with good intent
-So, it makes sense they would be attracted like magnets to you and your approachable, kind nature
-After all, demons can’t deal with temptation very well
-Solomon is cunning and ominous, not that different from anyone else down there and it’s a fact the brothers don’t even trust him that much
-But Lord Diavolo?
-“MC honey you hit the jackpot! Tell me every little detail!! What happened? How did the topic of a pact come up?”
-He’s not worried about you overall
-Not because he doesn’t care but he believes that if you can survive for a year with the seven avatars of sin and also convince 93 other demons to make a pact with you, then you can handle whatever Lord Diavolo throws at you
-He probably buys a bunch of revealing clothing you can show off all of your marks because they look ‘fabulous’
-It’s the only think he’s gonna talk about for a while because how many other humans can say they have control of the prince of Hell???
-Asmo also acknowledges that Diavolo must have trusted you a lot for him to agree to this which he thinks is incredible
-He will definitely listen if you have any stories on the pacts you made because he finds them very thrilling and he loves the sound of your voice!!
-Again, he doesn’t need human souls, just a mirror, some skin products and drama to survive
-And you, if I had to guess
Beel:
-The calmest our of the seven about it
-You made a bunch of pacts? Cool, it just shows how strong and independent you are
-Which made him respect you even more to be honest
-He flinches a bit when you tell him about Lord Diavolo because he knows that the prince isn’t the type to agree to anything without being given something in return
-Even if he knows you can handle yourself, he will be right there beside you to help you out
-Also, uh, don’t tell Belphie about the pact thing Diavolo. He might blow a fuse
-You guys work out together sometimes and he is usually utterly mesmerised by all the pact marks you have on your body
-He kinda wishes you would have asked him or one of his brothers to come along with you when you made your pacts
-Just in case things went wrong
-He regrets a lot of things that had happened until now, but one thing he absolutely cherishes is the pact you made with him
-Beel is aware that his brothers think the same and if you think you can deal with the pressure of having some many demons under control, then he won’t nag you too much about being careful
-As for the Solomon thing, he doesn’t have much to say
-I mean, yeah, he is a sorcerer and you’re just a human but if you could make a pact with Lord Diavolo in such a small time frame before he even had the chance to?
-It means you’re just as special as he is
-And definitely a better cook
Belphie:
-ok maybe humans aren’t as stupid as he originally thought them to be
-Making pacts with so many demons is something that takes strength and intelligence, so props to you
-He would never admit it, but you being able to do all this shit without batting an eyelid is seriously restoring his love for humans and their culture
-might take a while tho
-He also wonders when you had the time to make so many bonds, considering he spends most of the day with you at RAD and at home
-Eh, he was probably asleep
-His view of you before the incident did a full 180 degrees
-This sort of thing in DevilDom is something worth praising, especially for an average human like you
-And ‘I guess you don’t look all that bad with so many pact marks on your body *angy boi blush* but I still like mine best!’
-It might be best not to mention the Lord Diavolo thing, otherwise his brain might snap in two
-But turns out, he seems pretty relaxed about it
-Too relaxed, I would say
-“Hey do you think you could use your pact with Lord Diavolo to do something that would tarnish his reputation and maybe embarrass Lucifer while you’re at it, idk.”
-Ah, so that’s what it was
-He’s such a mischievous, spoiled brat
-“No Belphie shush.”
-“I’m just saying-“
-Despite him hating humans way less nowadays, he still holds somewhat of a grudge against them
-Old habits die hard I suppose
-Especially for Solomon whom he never liked in the first place
-He finds it very amusing when he figures out you just beat Solomon at his life’s work in under a year
-He has a good chuckle about it but never actually brings it up in front of him
-Because he knows you’re gonna flick him over the ear for it
-Belphie is the youngest sibling and therefore the spoiled child, can’t change my mind
(Ok so poor Solomon, I kinda want to give him a hug now lol. Hope I didn’t make these too repetitive or short. Thank you for reading!)

Request 2 of 2 is any killer you want meeting a sneaky survivor (later s/o bc I’m weak) who can get up from being moried but have reduced movement, repair speed and if they get hooked it’s instantly over for them (I say any because I want you to write what you like, I’ll probably request more characters for either prompts I sent tho if you’re ok with it)
okay so, with this ask i decided to do something a little different.
The idea of somehow surviving a mori is so bizarre and unlikely that it really took me a while to think about it. I mean, the whole point of a mori is to outright kill the survivor. so in order to bring this request to life i decided to set up some ground rules.
1.) it will be assumed that the survivor who can outlive a mori is one lucky bastard. Whether it is because the killer is in a rush and cannot ensure the job is done correctly or they just suck and overestimated their killing ability.
2.) It will also be assumed that in order to survive a mori, the person who gets up immediately seeks the best medical attention the Fog has to offer (i.e. They rush over to Claudette bleeding outta their asshole). They must also be near the end of a trial because once they escape all wounds will be healed and their supposed death will be null and void.
Below is a list of the mori’s that are a definite no-no and are a maybe (WARNING: i wrote these at 3AM)
Mori’s you would definitely die to:
Huntress (Axe to the face)
Bubba (*get that bitch Leatherface!* chainsaw up torso)
Hag (pulls spleen (?) out, needs some spice)
Deathslinger (speared from butthole to mouth hole)
Oni (sword through the chest and no more tongue)
Pyramid Head (huge knife through gut)
Freddy (fingers your chest)
Spirit (knife to meet you *screams in Japanese*)
Doctor (you got a brain? not anymore)
Legion [specifically Joey] (mans is determined and crazy strong. its lights out for you)
Mori’s that are a MAYBE live:
Trapper (basic slash 4 a basic bitch)
Wraith (*baby WHACK baby WHACK baby WHACK*)
Hillbilly (bruh it aint even that deep)
Nurse (lady got moldy worm fingers, dafaq that suppose to do)
Clown (steals a finger and cracks your back)
Demogorgon (again, cracks your back starting with your neck)
Myers (has no aim and could miss a vital organ)
Ghostface (again, has talent but got no direction)
Pig (cover that new mouth vagina quick then you’d be gucci)
Plague (i want her to spit in my mouth so)
Legion [rest of them bitches] (punk lil babies who probs can’t even open a pickle jar)
Pyramid Head (the mini mori where he just bonks you after being hooked/cage: vibe check failed)
Now, with this out of the way, I have chosen two killers to write about. hope they are ok <3
HeadCanons for The Wraith (Philip Ojomo) and The Plague (Adiris) with a sneaky S/O capable of surviving a mori
The Wraith (Philip Ojomo)
Has to do a double-take when he sees you up and walking. He’ll literally stop dead in his tracks and just watch as you stumble across the landscape, dropping all his previous activities to focus on you. You looked like a ghost.
He’d question himself for a moment. Had he actually killed you? Did he just down you and forget? No, no. Philip always remembered who he killed, their faces of fear and pain, and their cries as he slashed open their backs. He was a strong man, vicious in his attacks. There was no way he could have missed. Yet, like a living contradiction to his beliefs, you were there.
He’d stalk you, cloaked and extremely quiet, turning the invisible factor up to 120%. You wouldn’t even notice he was there. He’d follow you around, peaking from behind trees and through windows as you would hobble after teammates and sloppily repair generators. If one of the more bulky survivors were on your team they’d carry you, slinging one of your arms over their shoulders and leading you around. How selfless and thoughtful. The other, more clever survivors would hurriedly try to mend your wounds, quick hands weaving through medkits and over broken skin. However nothing they did return you to your prior vigor. You definitely carried the weight of a near-death experience. regardless, Philip felt moved by your teammates' determination to help you.
If you ended up being the last survivor in the trial, the others having been hooked or mori’d, Philip would always let you live. He’d watch you get back up from your position on the floor, blood spewing out of the wounds across your back. You’d groan and shakily get to your feet, swaying as you did so, before trudging off to start the final generators. He admired your commitment and vowed to not disturb you as you worked. But progress was slow and Philip always found himself circling you. Maybe if you were healed you could work better? He thought to himself as he quickly zoomed around the arena in search for discarded med-kits. He’d find some still clutched in the frozen hands of dead teammates and hurriedly he’d take and present them to you. Although he was too nervous to actually hand the items to you, Philip would quietly leave them on the floor for you to turn around and find. Then he would retreat back to the shadows and continue to watch you.
The Plague (Adiris)
Adiris would also do a hard double-take. She’d gasp loudly when she found you working on another generator. You could hear her mumbling ancient words under her breath, rambling, and getting more and more frantic as she approached you.
Unlike Philip, Adiris would have no hold-ups about hurting you and she would set to work chasing and quickly down you again. With one quick smack, you would be forced to the ground with the impossible tall lady standing over you. Her previous whispered had now progressed into full-blown shouts. She’d call out to the sky in a desperate and commanding tone, the Babylonian language feeling strange in your ears. With palms open and facing upwards Adiris would thrust back her head and shout out for an explanation. Were you some kind of God? Maybe even a demon or angel? Whatever you were, it freaked Adiris out. Her eyes focused solely on the dark sky, all previous engagements to the trial having been forgotten. You could hear her desperately calling out for her God, crying for a reason as to why you didn't die. After several minutes, with her eyes filling with tears, Adiris relented and lowered her head.
There was no answer. If you weren’t some type of supernatural being, and instead just some poor ordinary person, then Adiris had in fact just failed at killing a poor soul. She wasn’t stupid; she could tell that she was chosen to mindlessly hurt and kill people for her God. Her personal philosophy when it came to hunting down the survivors of the Fog, was to offer them a swift and painless exit from this world of suffering. But with you laying at her feet, wheezing with blood and vomit coating your clothing, Adiris had to realize that she had failed, not only herself but you. She hadn’t effectively killed you and instead only added to your pain.
Adiris knew that you carried that burden of her weapon and she felt it tear her up inside. She hated herself and her lackluster ability to effectively kill you. She debated whether to try to kill you again. But the thought of even attempting such an act boiled her stomach and made her sick. You watched her from your position on the floor. There was a deep sense of sadness in her eyes, her shoulders lowered and it seemed she had lost her prideful demeanor. She looked pitiful and lost, like a child having been told Father Christmas isn’t real. After a moment of watching her for signs of aggression, Adiris finally moved. She knelt down and gently placed a hand on your back. She mumbled something to you that sounded like an apology before she quickly stuck her hands underneath you. Effortlessly the tall lady picked you up bridal style and set off in search of your teammates. In the distance, you spotted Nea working on the last-gen. Adiris also noticed the girl and with long, determined strides, brought you to her. Nea went to flee at the killer's approach, but when she saw you in her arms, carried like a baby, she stood her ground. Adiris dropped you at Nea’s feet and with one final look, walked away never to be seen again for the remainder of the trial.

OCtober #9 - The Grandfather
I'll probably have to ditch out some questions from the second list I'm doing as first- I'm incredibly late at this point and second- I realized answering some of these is kind of no use to anyone. Even for me it would be just babbling to just babble.
Today's post will be a bit different compared to other ones as the character I'll talk about I can't really call an OC, more like plot device? It's a background character that existed mostly in my head despite having a role in the plot of one of my most developed characters :'D I'm gonna talk about Takashi and Shinuo's grandfather .u.
For this you'll need quite a lot of introduction so bear with me. As I said here and here, my sweet twins in their original Wakfu universe had quite a rough early life, but I mostly described Shinuo's side of it, as he's less fortunate one. Time has come to tell more details about Takashi's alone time at their home island Sufokia~
So like I mentioned in these linked posts, their father was a king's advisor in law's matters, which eventually led whole family to it's demise. How did he get here tho? I imagined Sufokia in my story like sort of mix between it's old game version and what we see in animated series by the end of season 2, so it's Sufokia build from scratch on Crimason Claws' Island (which in my native language's subtitles got messed up as archipelago so in my mind it exists like this :') ). So I imagine as well that some of the noble families of Sufokia were involved in it, which made them important members at it's capital island later. Twin's father was born in such family as oldest son but later he disobeyed his father's opinion about his marriage plans (his future wife was just common woman, which he didn't approve on) and got disowned, about which he didn't really care at that point because he got good education and managed to work on his position in king's administration by himself till he became king's advisor around his mid 40s. Then around 10 years later he and his wife was killed, one of their kids was taken and the other completely left alone.
You would probably think "well, Takashi wasn't to blame for his father's choices". Ur right, but tell that to this old stubborn man twin's grandfather was :') Stubborness goes in the family for sure.
What happend then? Takashi was caught up in the middle of social and moral argue, as no one from his father's side of the family wanted to take care of him. His mother's side grandparents sadly died before he could remember them. In this time he heard a lot of things kid his age shouldn't hear about his deceased parents and about himself, which heavily affected his behaviour and mental state. He was devasteted enough by losing both parents and younger sister, his home and feeling guilty for Shinuo's kidnapping, which made him close up a lot, spending most of his time hiding away from people at port, near beach or island's cliffs, till he got saved from this hopeless situation, from people who were supposed to be his family, but were actually handing him around like a thing.
But Takashi in the end got lucky again. Luck is kind of main theme for his character, I'll get back to this later~ After few weeks of that his parents' friends, Ecaflip couple running a tavern in the port, decided to take him in as they had no kids themselves and they couldn't look at this whole situation anymore. Takashi wasn't the easiest to get through to, but eventually he opened up again, slowly learning to trust them, especially that he knew them from before. His grandfather just settled with it and washed his hands out of it.
About this luck, it's a theme that's repeating a lot through Takashi's life right from beginning. He had a luck to be born with better case of albinism, having some melanin left, as well as being strongwr twin out of two. Then he got lucky, survived and got a foster family that cares and loves him the way he is. Later he met Hidemichi who for few years acted as a guide for him while he was still young boy and kinda like older brother, helping him grow into his confident self in the end c: There's even more and more of such situations and I have an explanation for it as well. As I said, he got adopted by Ecaflip family, who's god in this universe is known as god of luck and gambling, who's likely to often shift their favours. Takashi after what he lived through denied his race's godness, Eniripsa, saying she can't be kind or mercifull if she let such injustice happen to him and his brother (I'm not really up for official ways it works so I opted for born-in races and designated gods). It limited his abilities, but he never was eager to learn about healing anyway. But the thing he definitely liked was risk, his foster father also taugh him to play most gambling games before he reached adulthood, like poker and other card games, dice and such. He also learnt to cheat which he sometimes used to impress people and win against ppl he didn't like. As older teen he became quite a flirt as well. All of it made him rather similar in behaviour to usuall Ecaflips, which with his luck to this point, got him some of god Ecaflip's attention, which resulted in him having moments of real, unbelievable luck, like when he fell of a cliff as teen and got out of it with just a little scratches.
One last thing, coming back to main point of this post, which was supposed to be Takashi and Shinuo's grandfather is the fact the man later lost his second son when Takashi was already an adult and this made him interested again in his neglected grandson. He tried to make his way to Takashi having his pride in mind, not wanting to leave family without heir of some sort. As you can imagine, Takashi declined, both being too proud to ever accept anything from his grandfather and remembering both how he treated him and their father as well. As Takashi was the one taking care of their parents' grave while Shinuo was nowhere to be found, he knew their grandfather didn't visit the grave even once.
It got much longer than I wanted and expected it to be but well, I can't resist talking about my sweet twins c:

SINDAY HEADCANONS
just kinda decided to answer those all (from here) after the post being brought to my attention by someone >>
for Illyrio, ofc
Tumblr media
lust
👀 - ever had intercourses with more than one partner?
Yes, as long as it was in a casual setting/with strangers. He tends to get possessive when his partners turn to lovers, so it's more difficult for him to get involved romantically and sexually with more than one person; in that sense, he is more of a monogamist, even if it wouldn't be completely impossible. But he happened to go to orgies, even if just from time to time, to get his mind off of things and kinda let go in an environment that befitted him, so, yes, he certainly has had sex with more than one person.
👙 - do they have some particularly weird kink?
Well, I guess one would have to define “weird” to me. >> At its base, I would essentially say power plays, but, his rank being what it is, I would say power plays basically are impossible to avoid anyway. Sith are quite a particular part of society. Otherwise there are some other stuff, I suppose, generally more leaning toward D/s, but I think the “weirdest” stuff comes from messy aus, so doesn't link directly to canon Illy.
💌 - do you enjoy one night stands/having fuckbuddies?
One night stands, yes, having “fuckbuddies” not so much. He isn't one to make friends or trust people easily. He essentially doesn't mingle sex with them expect in rare, rare occasions.
🔌 - do they own any sexual toys?
No, actually. He may/will acquire them if his partner show interest in that, but essentially he doesn't make use of them by his own design. He usually got by using the Force instead.
💵 - would they accept money in exchange of sex/sexual favors?
No. There was a time where he would trade sex with survival, essentially, but the people he would “sell” himself to didn't knew that, and basically all ended up dead, so he wouldn't say it counted. It was.. a long time ago anyway.
gluttony
🥐 - are they able to cook?
No. Let's keep it to that.
🌭 - what’s the biggest meal they had recently?
Probably something Muhn prepared him, if we are accounting canon universe. Otherwise he never really was a big eater, and I suppose at galas and parties and such you are not supposed to stuff yourself with food. I would suppose when he was younger, after a long, depriving mission, he would come back to wherever base was and eat everything in sight.
🍙 - do they enjoy foreign food?
He doesn't really have preferences, but seeing how foreign alien food can get I suppose he would rather stick to flavorless military rations than risk weird contaminations.
🌶️ - can they handle spicy food?
Discreetly, but it depends on the base taste of the spice. Some he isn't fond to.
🍎 - is their diet balanced or tend to skip meals/overeat often?
It's better now that he has Muhn/droids feeding him, when he was still in warzones and stuff he certainly ate more unequally.
envy
🤑 - did they ever steal valuable objects from someone?
At times, I suppose.. not so directly know, even if I guess between war spoils and crushing enemies and whatever possessions pass through his hands not so very honestly depending on who you ask. But it may more efficiently fit to when he was an apprentice and “finding” artifacts for his Master. Tho, if you kill the rightful owner I don't know if it counts as stealing anymore.
🖤 - do they wish to have someone else’s partner?
I guess it happened. Not much as a “I want that specific person” but mostly as a “if I own everything/everybody I'm the more powerful” mixed with a denied loneliness. As a Sith I think dark thoughts are part of .. life. Seeing another Sith, or whoever, with a partner at their arm and going “I will have them, I will and you will choke in the ashes of what you used to have” it's… common enough. He never really went through with any of those thoughts, though. He prefers finesse and discretion when destroying an opponent.
🤷 - did they ever ruin something they couldn’t have out of spite?
Probably, yeah. It's something that risks happening even now. The more Illyrio care, the more he gets closer to be dangerous about it. It wouldn't really be about “spite”, though. He has to care deeply, and those strong emotions don't work well with his Sith education.
greed
🏋️ - do they own a secret place for their most prized possessions?
It depends on what kind of possession it is. His Voss mansion is where most of his things go, and he has his secret rooms and safes, but he has other places too, depending on the nature of the object and on who may be interested in taking them from him.
😍 - what’s the most important material object they own?
His lightsaber..? And even then, he isn't that attached to it. His wedding ring is important to him, but, well, way less than Muhn is, so well, he wouldn't be heartbroken if he lost it, it's replaceable.
He is mostly attached to his possessions in general. The idea that he owns them and that he won't stand to lose them. He feels powerful having possessions, but isn't really attached to any of them in particular.
😮 - do they feel like they own someone? their partner, their friends…
Essentially, yes. His lovers, occasionally his friends. But yes, he gets very possessive of his lovers, even if he does try to control it at his best. It's a weakness, and an open door to lose control over the dark side than runs in his veins.
wrath
💣 - do they get angry easily?
Not that much, or at least they do temper it well in formal/work matters, but the most one thing touches the private sphere the more he loses control over his emotions. He does usually control himself pretty well tho, he runs by cold anger most.
🗡️ - have they fought someone in the past?
They fought plenty. Not really an hobby, but it never stopped him.
💉 - what’s the worst injury they had to deal with?
I have nothing specific in mind, but there must have been some very close cases, I mean, war and stuff.
👊 - did they ever punch someone?
Never his favored method of fighting, but his Master did strongly enforced training without the use of the Force, so if not punching per se (punching training droids hurts as fuck), certainly hand to hand combat was a thing.
💀 - would they ever consider killing someone?
Yes.
🔪 - did they ever risked death?
Yes.
pride
💪 - what’s their ability they brag about the most?
His own loquacity, I suppose.
👑 - what’s the possession they brag about the most?
Maybe his clothing, in general, but more by way of presenting himself than with actual words. Or yunno, his husband.
🌟 - do they enjoy being at the center of attention?
Yes and no. Yes, they do love it, but also they need alone time, cause swimming between sharks and always keeping up appearances is tiring as fuck.
👁️ - what do they think about their appearence?
It gets the job done. And to make it so it must be as perfect as possible. It's a general symbol of what he is and what he does, it's power, and it cannot be seen to decay or weaken one second.
👿 - how do they take criticism?
Ha. No.
sloth
💤 - how much do they usually sleep?
It varies a lot. They are not used to sleep that much, but they do nap pretty frequently. They probably devolve into a more regular sleep pattern once he truly starts to settle down with his husband.
🛏️ - are they likely do to any activity without complain?
As long as it revolves around his job or physical care he doesn't really complains, anything hobby/leisure bound he is very unsure of.
😪 - did they ever convince someone to do the hard work for them?
Hardly even trust anyone to, but he has droids and assistants and staff for the menial tasks. He is not really a lazy person, no.

Review Response, May 5-11, 2019
Heart got updated in this week, and... got very, very little to show for it. Instead, got some... fossils getting some reviews. Hehe...
And since I wasn’t home yesterday, I guess I’ll include the one review that I got at 5 am today.
Cycle #001
1) Tho lemme just say one more thing. In reality, Gold is a dick. And I think it's great that Crystal is trying to help him out on that aspect. I forgot to mention that in my last review. I mean, the things he does and says, but I also think it's innocent in a way. Almost like he just doesn't know better. Now I could just be romanticizing it, but I think Gold just needs to learn about how to treat other people, and especially WHY. Once he understands why, that'll be when he starts to learn how treat his friends and such. Besides that, ye Gold is an asshole. And I still don't know why I defend him, or why I think he's still a great guy.
Hm. This order is a bit messed since you dropped the review for the second chapter first, but... ehn. Anyways.
I wouldn’t say that Gold is a total dick. He at least pretends to be, but not even that deep down, he’s generally a good guy. Just doesn’t want anyone else to think that he’s a good guy. That said, he’s still a very BAD influence to the younger kids, which is what Crystal doesn’t like. So Gold just needs to learn to be a better example for the juniors. So I guess Gold is more of a jerk than a complete dick? Hmm...
Cycle #002
1) God Nicole! I know you said you have sweet stories, but for some reason I keep picking the ones that aren't. Ah well, maybe next time. Anyway, on to my thoughts on the chapter. This was very good! I can't tell you how many times I've read a fan fiction with a horrible plot, the characters with the wrong personality, or just really bad grammar. It feel really nice not to experience any of those. So really, thank you for this. Personally, I know how difficult it is to write something good, and be able to post it online. So congrats to you! Anyway, I felt that I understood both sides (that is Crystal's and Gold's POV on things), I was cheering fro Gold, but I was also agreeing with Crystal for trying to teach Gold a lesson. Though to be honest, I'm not so sure that Crystal should have been trying to change Gold so much, I mean, it's good to help him better himself. And that's what I liked, she gave him the opportunity to improve, she didn't force it on him (only encouraging him to do it with the promise of a date). But, nonetheless, Gold is Gold. If she can't love him for him, then maybe she's right in thinking that she'll never fall in love with him, which would make the whole baiting him with a date actually really cruel in a sense. But, I feel that this is Crystal's mistake, not yours. You wrote the story in a way, where this can't be seen as a pothole of yours, it actually goes with the story very nicely. So again, you did nothing wrong, Crystal did. Tho in reality this is just my opinion, you're free to think whatever you want. Anyways, keep up the good work! I'll make sure to post another review soon! (sorry for the long ass review tho kek)
I have plenty of sweet stories! You’re... looking in the wrong place? Hehe. Yes indeed, there are a lot of horrendous stories out there. I try not to add to the pile.
The important thing to note in this story is that Crystal does NOT and is not trying to love Gold. Her line of reasoning basically goes as: “I know he likes me, but I don’t like him. But if I can use him liking me to try to steer him into being a GOOD guy and not such a jerk all the time, then this is a great opportunity.” It’s something that has a decent probability of occurring, given Gold and Crystal’s personalities and preferences.
Heart #004
1) Y and white’s interactions with each other in this chapter were so good. Keep up the good work!
Thanks! Yay for friendly banter and interactions between multiple generations of Dex Holders!
... And that’s it for Heart, huh? Hm.
SC #001
1) Wow. I really don't know what to say. But I feel like I will continue to ponder this even when I'm supposed to be sleeping. A part of me hopes that the real Blue doesn't feel like this, but of course she would. Anyone would in her position. Oh, really Nicole, my heart ached for Blue in this one. I could feel her pain even though I don't exactly know what she's going through. The first thing that hit me in this chapter was when she says. "I got too attached." or something or other. This line was before the paragraph where she explained that she should have listened to Pryce. But even then, I knew. This girl was so influenced by Pryce when she was younger, she thought she had escaped him, but his teachings till live on in her. At least the small ones. The ones that slowly creep up, and once you notice they're there, it's too late to get rid of them. Yep, that was the line where I knew that Blue was completely and utterly broken. I mean, you get that sort of idea earlier, obviously, it's not hard to tell. But before there was a glimmer of hope, a little nit of light. That line completely destroyed that little ray, and really plunged the entire thing into an "Utter Darkness". (See what I did there?) Anyways, your writing was wonderful as usual. You really know how to play with emotions, and you also have a way with people almost empathizing with the characters (I say almost because obviously we've never experienced that, or at least I haven't). I would say more, but I've already said so much in this review. Thank yoouuuuuuuu, so very mucccchhhhhhh!
Given Blue’s past, this is a very likely scenario to occur if she is denied the warmth and care that she would need deep inside. Yes, Blue’s heartbreaking situation... during the time I tried to pair her up with Green even though neither are really compatible with each other... That sure explains why all that happened in Destiny! Poor girl, huh? :(
Thanks so much for the long review!! <3
SC #006
1) I can't even. This was amazing, what Black did was sorta cruel, but that's exactly the kinds thing you do to your best friends. But seriously, I'm tearing up here (not really, but let me be dramatic). This was short, but it was short and sweet, and sometimes that's the best thing that someone can offer. As usual, your grammar is on point. I realize that while reading your stories, my view sort of narrows (something I have trouble doing even with some novels), and I'm focused only on the story. It's a great feeling actually, being totally engaged and unaware of your surroundings. Haven't felt that in a long time, so thank you again! You're the best.
Hehe. Best friends trick friends into playing a horror game! Hehe. White was the most obvious victim for such a thing, which automatically meant that Black had to be the one to do it. And it works out! Hehe...
Thank you sooo much!
SC #009
1) Oooooooooh, Nicole I really enjoyed this one! This was with no romance, just simple and pure fun! Ugh, I live for these kids of fics. You, dear, are amazing. Your writing is engaging, and I honestly felt bad when each person "died". The end was also perfect, I had completely forgotten about Crystal, and you took advantage of that. I applaud you, and thank you very much.
Yep! Purely for fun game of paintball survival! Purely friendly no-doom, no-heartache, no-romance, no-holds-barred game for pride and not losing money! Ehehe... thank you!
Indeed. Crystal went forgotten just so she could end a stalemate and so that her seniors don’t lose their pride.
DE #027
1) Guh. It was adorable, from Diamond's sincerity to Platinum's hesitance. And they kissed at the end! Who knew you were capable of sweet stories. (Maybe it's time for an oldrival sweet one eh) I'm just kidding. I won't ask that outright of you 'cause I know it's hard work, but just letting you know, that f you do decide to make one. You know the person to send it to ;). In any case, I'm going to go read some of your other stuff (with reviews at the end of course!). But before I do that, lemme just say. That everything I've said in other reviews about your writing applies to this one, I just won't repeat it because after a while things can get tiresome. It's just! When Diamond asked Platinum if he was making her uncomfortable, I was like, "*squeal* He's so kind!". I kid you not, I want to squeal even now, but if I did my mother would look at me weirdly. Anyways, until next time!
Hey, I write a lot of sweet things and certainly capable of it!! Hehe. And... heh, that pairing is not going to happen anymore, so... sorry :(.
Anyways. Diamond is such a sweet boy. And he does (should) understand emotions better, so he’d know that Platinum would feel uncomfortable before she realizes it. And since he’s so damn sweet, he’d try to make her feel comfortable to the best of his abilities! Ehehe... and fun fact! From when Diamond makes the... comment, exactly 135 shooting stars are mentioned. 135...
SA #015
1) “It’s not like I was hit by spike cannon”. Hmmmmm
Heh. The power of foreshadowing~! ... That no one caught on before it actually happened 15 chapters later. Hehehe...

6, 19, 27 for two of your pick!
going with valko because im lov him and kian because i know you like him!!!
6: Does your OC have a realistic image of their own intelligence?
VALKO. more or less. he’s relatively aware of his strengths and weaknesses. he knows he’s not book smart and that he probably never will be. but on the other hand he’s pretty good with practical knowledge. he’s good at survival, he’s good at shooting, and he’s relatively good at picking up on people’s behavior and patterns. he knows there’s a lot of things he doesn’t know, but he also knows that there are certain things he’s good at, so he sticks with those
KIAN. lmaoooo well he definitely thinks he’s a lot smarter than he actually is. I mean he knows he doesn’t know everything, he knows he’s not as smart as most of the scholars in the spire...buuuut he does think he’s significantly smarter than most people....especially people on the prime material plane....he’s....arrogant and pretentious....pride is his deadly sin and he takes great pride in his education....
19: What boosts your OC’s confidence the most?
VALKO. approval and praise from those he respects, them giving him their trust....especially if they’re just like....overwhelming noble and good and honorable and he’s had to fight for that approval/praise/trust....ovak placing her trust and faith in him has boosted his confidence in ways that i certainly didn’t expect. “Do you trust him?” | “With my life.” gets me every goddamn time that was so goddamn meaningful...their relationship is very understated but it’s very good
KIAN. hitting a breakthrough in his research. when all the information connects and falls into place and everything makes sense. when he’s walking through his findings and he makes that connection and the ball gets rolling and he ends up with this almost manic energy....think brian david gilbert in the legend of zelda timeline video....but when he thinks he’s figured something out, he gets very excited and very confident in his abilities to verbalize it.
27: Does your OC practise any kind of escapism? If yes, what kind?
VALKO. it used to be drinking himself into oblivion. can’t worry about things if you’re blackout drunk. nowadays it’s more along the lines of intense physical labor or survival training. something that pushes his body to its limits so that’s all he can think about rather than whatever thoughts are on his mind
KIAN. yes and no...i mean...he has hobbies but the gears in his brain are almost always churning, so even when he’s “escaping” he’s still thinking about things. usually he’s sketching or dancing (tho i like the idea of him completing a set of steps, sweat beading on his brow, chest heaving, and he’s just like “...eureka! that’s it!”  and then running off to finish something). I think the only place he can really unwind is in a bath with nice oils and floral fragrances around him

Behold! The DnD Ask Meme Fairy! I pray thee go through and answer all 20 for your characters, but counting off style (one character answers 1, 4, 7, etc; another is 2, 5, 8, etc). Then sort your babies by Hogwarts houses 💕
(And after almost a year I answer this beautiful ask <3)  1) What would they consider to be their biggest failure? (Aslan) Aslan is that kind of person who refuses to deal with his own problems by minimizing and ignoring them up until it’s too late to hide them under the proverbial rug. In the past he was scammed by his former lover, but out of shame, pride and a misplaced sentiment of romantic commitment he didn’t reveal their identity to almost anyone. Now that this man is back in his life, teasing him, relying on his feelings again and putting Aslan and his companions and family in danger, Aslan blames himself for not having done everything in his power to stop him back then.  Close second: that one time he killed one of his fellow companions with a Thunderwave. OPS. 2) What’s the story behind their name? (Nemo/Cedric) This is an easy one! When I first played him, I had just finished playing Ace Attorney Dual Destinies and wanted to give a nod to one of my favorite characters out of the whole franchise: The Phantom. Since he is described as “a no one”, I choose the latin word “Nemo” (that literally means no one xD) and that’s it. The similarities between the two end there, I prefer a more Fulbright-ish personality. No worries, he is a good paladin <3. For the second name the story is simple: I didn't choose it. Or better said, I choose it in a list of random generated names that my master came up with… since neither of us was ready to see the character die in that particular fight. Fortunately the party was able to grant him another chance at life the next session.  3) What’s their relationship with their family? (Mekare) Pretty complicated, I must say. She was born into an extramarital union together with her twin sister Dalista, but since both of them were Tieflings their father cut all connection with their mother and them, and made it pretty clear they weren’t welcome. Since then they traveled the world, in search of a place to call their own. Unfortunately in the process they caught unwanted attention that ended with the death of the mother and the separation of the two sisters. Finding her lost sister is Mekare’s biggest obsession. 4) What’s one song that describes them or is them? (Aslan) Oh well, I could quote all P!ATD discography since almost all their songs remind me of my favorite bard in some way or another. BUT, I’ll go with “Into the Unknown'' (Frozen 2) since it depicts his internal and emotional turmoil quite well. His character arc revolves around coming to terms with his past trauma, opening himself to new, healthy long-term relationships (with partners, friends and family alike) and realizing what he really wants for his life. And this song could very much be read under this interpretation, I think. 5) Who is their best friend? (Nemo) Ok, this is something I wasn’t able to fully explore during my playtime with him. Having joined the party in the mid/late half of the campaign I didn’t have much time to build such strong relationship bonds with the pgs of my fellow party members. They were friends, but not the best of friends. Probably this changed afterwards, but we didn’t played it /YET/ So for now, I’ll say that his best friends are Smara and Amaimon. They’re his two extraplanar pets: a Nightmare (Smara) well smarter than he is, truth to be told, and a Displacer Beast (Amaimon). 6) Why are they their class? (Mekare) After all of that - her mother long gone and her sister lost - Mekare wandered for days and days without caring for her needs, yet still relentless she continued her travelling into the deep of the forest. She was then approached by an elderly couple of druids. Mekare much like a feral animal tried to flee but not hard enough. The two druids were able to rescue her to the safety of their “circle”. Since then she stayed with “The circle of the moon” learning their craft and growing as a wise Tiefling until she felt ready to start her research for her lost sister.  7) What do they think of their party members? (Aslan) He likes them, yet they still haven’t gained his full trust. Not because they are untrustworthy but ‘cos Aslan himself has a long way to go before being able to fully dwell in a friendly relationship just for the sake of it. They survived a lot together ( the dethronement of a faux king, the impending chaos breaking havoc in the material plane are just some examples) and have a lot to come ahead. The only real thing he doesn’t like about his group is their complete inability to be stealthy at any given time.  8) In what ways are they similar to you? (Nemo) We are both Lawful Good af, and that is one. On a more serious note, we are both naive up to a fault even, seeing in everyone a possibility for change and betterment.  9) In what ways are they different from you? (Mekare) For one she had a sister and I am an only child. She’s angrier, lonelier and more focused than I could ever be. She’s the incarnation of the energy of a burning fire mixed with the patience of running water, a force to be reckoned with.  10) What do they look for in a romantic partner, if they have a romantic orientation? (Aslan) Aslan hadn’t thought about a /romantic/ partner in a looong time. He had his fair share of sexual encounters with both women and men, of various humanoids races, along the way. but he didn’t think of them as much more than a one-night-stand. Anyway, what Aslan is searching for in a romantic partner is their kindness, a caring nature and an unwavering honesty; he wants to feel safe and loved in their arms; at his side he desires a person who believes in him. And he wants to be that person for their partner.  11) If they had a patronus or animagus form, what would it be? (Nemo) A little premise: I’m not a big fan of HP so I will be brief here. I think if Nemo had to take an animal form it’ll be a Deer or an Elk. They strike me as strong yet pacific animals, able to fight when it matters and yet being perceived as peaceful.  12) What do they smell like? (Mekare) Being a Tiefling, her scent is for the most part characterized by the odor of sulfur, with a hint of burnt sandalwood and wild flowers. 13) What is their secret skill? (Aslan) Aslan isn’t the kind of person that likes to keep their skills a secret, he loves the attention, the praise that comes with being good at something. He loves being known and watched. But there are still skills and abilities he doesn't particularly spam publicly, for one all the skills connected with enchantments and “forced persuasion”. Thanks to his affiliation to the “bardic college of glamour” and his fairy patron he is a pretty good charmer.  14) What is their relationship to spirituality? (Nemo) Nemo is a very spiritual person, as a Paladin his faith in the goddess of death is unwavering and serving her to the very end is the greatest honour he could possibly foresee for himself. But he isn’t a preacher, he could go for days without speaking of his belief to anyone but himself and his horse. He isn’t affiliated to a church or any kind of organized religion.   15) If they were to be remembered for something, what would they want to be remembered for? (Mekare) She doesn’t care much about being remembered by anyone that isn’t her twin sister. She doesn’t aspire to be a hero or a saviour, she wants her only family back whether the price may be… if she does something to be remembered for along the way is just tangential.  16) Why did they become an adventurer? (Aslan) After losing part of his family fortune and being sent away by his dad, Aslan wasn’t in a good place. He was making a living as a bard moving from town to town, from tavern to tavern, living by the day as best as he could but a lifestyle such as this would’ve been harmful in the long run. Enter an old, grumpy dwarf, a cute yet deadly assassin and a handsome, alluring tiefling and you got the recipe for adventure! While the reason he started travelling was to get some inspiration for his writings and stories, after a while it became clear even to himself that he stuck with the group cos he cared deeply for them, even if he couldn’t help but be weary. Nowadays he’s a bit unsure if he wants to stick around after having taken care of his ex tho. 17) What’s one thing about their backstory that came to you after you already started playing the campaign? (Nemo) Oh well, all his past adventures on the material plane are something I hadn’t thought through beforehand. At the same time I wasn’t fully able to explore them in game, so they're still pretty much in the vague. But I’m pretty sure that I’ll be using some of the characters from his background in a project of mine: Gymnadenia, is a very athletic and enthusiastic Dryad he helped saving a forest, while Panthera Lea is a cute, little Chimera he and Gymnadenia rescued from an evil circus.  18) Do you have any headcanons for them that haven’t come up in game? Or headcanons for other party members? (Mekare) Almost all of her background has yet to come up in game, since I played her in a series of very plot driven sessions. But I hope to play her in full force in the near future.  19) Any ships with your character? If a PC or NPC, what interaction launched it? (Aslan) With Jarrett, a tiefling that he encountered at the very start of the campaign. He’s a NPC. Aslan himself has yet to wrap his head about his feelings for him but I hope he does it in the near future, cos things aren’t looking good for him in the “sentimental department” as of late. With Bozkurt, his ex-lover. A very badwrong and unhealthy ship, but I’m too weak to say no to my daily dose of angst.  With Kelner, another NPC. He is a half elf bard we rescued from a group of inquisitors, he wasn’t very big on money so he and Aslan set for another kind of payment ;) but I can see Aslan give him another chance. 20) What would your character consider their biggest success? Or what is your favorite success your character has had so far? (Nemo) Nemo isn’t one to boast in his own personal success. He puts himself and his achievement behind those of his own companions and he probably would be much more proud to be of help to someone rather than to be the sole “successful” person in the room. Nevertheless he finds a sense of personal satisfaction in being, once again,  the “Champion” of the goddess of death thanks to his rightful actions and attitude.  BONUS: B) Group them by Harry Potter houses
Mekare Slytherin - Aslan Ravenclaw - Nemo Hufflepuff

I also think John is perpetually trying to find himself and figure out some kind of greater purpose to his life LANGUAGES KNOWN    Mostly dead ones, tho I have this dusty old head canon that he probably did something ridiculous like respell himself to understand the most basic forms of every language on earth. Like some regional dialects will fuck with him, but he’ll get the basic gist. SECRETS   L M A O John has all of the secrets. He’s the keeper of secrets. Really name one, though most of them boil down to the truly awful ways he used magic in the past, either out of greed or just not being proficient enough at that point in is life. SAVVIES    Highly observant and manipulative. He’s able to suss a person top to bottom usually within an hour of meeting them. Investigative skills. High degree of latent magical ability. A second kind of sight, can perceive ghosts and other ephemeral spirits and energies. Wide knowledge of magical theory, disciplines, demonology, and theology.

(And you know, I get it. The design was hella intricate and I’m sure as an artist, maybe you don’t wanna fuck with it. idek) Anyway because I can’t leave shit alone, I decided well the ink wasn’t kosher so it faded but there’s mild scarification remaining. ABILITIES/POWERS     medium (ability to see and communicate with spirits), guided strongly by intuition, various feats via magic, hypnosis, sleight of hand, traversing between planes of reality RESTRICTIONS     mortality, lingering shreds of conscience, ptsd
FAVOURITES .
FOOD    Asian and Indian cuisine DRINK    tea, liquor, coffee PIZZA TOPPING    John doesn’t really care much for pizza COLOR    dark blue MUSIC GENRE    punk, most rock genres in general BOOK GENRE      Mostly reads non-fiction, occasionally reads urban fantasy to see what the kids are into these days and rolls his eyes to the back of his head MOVIE GENRE     documentaries, older, hitchcockian thrillers SEASON    fall SCENT(S)    he tends toward natural scents, woodsy, earthy, even floral, but also sweat, skin, and blood. John himself has two scents. To most, he smells like cigarette smoke, sage, and occasionally faintly of the last liquor he drank. For cologne he favors more citrusy scents. To people/creatures with preternaturally strong senses of smell he has a much more mysterious scent related to the fact that he’s a magician. Detailed here.
FUN STUFF .
SINGS IN THE SHOWER    Yep. If you happen to have John in your shower often enough, you’re gonna here him singing.  LIKES BAD PUNS   .....sometimes. Depends on his mood and company.
CURSE WORD    Swears quite a bit. Both familiar like shit, fuck, ass/hole, but also common British vulgarities such as bugger, shite, arsehole, and other various slang terms that are very cute and quaint but are actually incredibly filthy.

Ok but ,,, if krul was human, what would her personality be like?
this is a really interesting question!i think we can get a kind of good idea of what she might be likebased on her vampire emotions and reactions bc it seems like thevamps in ons do retain the stronger points of their personalities (nomatter what kagami says lol) long so under a cut i’m so sorry i’m a rambler hhhhhh
the most important aspects of krul'spersonality, to me, are her hotheadedness and her dedication to herfamily. she has a kind of duality in a way, one side of her prone tooutbursts and very powerful, and then a softer side she reservesmostly for her brother (and possibly mika??)
i think krul has such a temper for acouple reasons, a mix of possibly just her personality and the fact that she is still a child despite her age.krul was turned at a very young age, and so it seems to follow whyshe's so easily stirred up. she attacks ferid after he kills thehyakuya orphans and would have killed him if not for the fact that hecould obviously blackmail her since he knows her involvement in theseraph of the end experiments. she was also very easily angered bylest karr in the progenitor's council after the shinjuku incident
Tumblr media
(ialways thought this exchange was very childlike of both of them, withlest pushing her and challenging her authority and krul immediatelytaking that bait). she also physically subdues mika when he confrontsher about the contents of that meeting, something that is entirelyunneeded since he could do nothing against her. but she chooses toshow this to him, forcing him onto his knees when she could have just kept brushing him off.
Tumblr media
while it's clear that physical strength is highly valued in vampiresociety, she seems to resort to it a bit more often than necessary. ilove this little quirk of hers, seeing that she can only use herlogic and political savvy once she's gotten out some of heraggression. she only stops herself from killing ferid bc she pausesto think that he might have something released upon his death andthat keeping him close and under her thumb is a better option (itwasn't, but it was the most logical choice at the time). it remindsme that she is still young in some ways, around 13 years old mentally(side note: i have a GREAT interest in thinking about how vampireswould “mature” if turned young. their brain development isstopped, but they have experiences no other child/teen does, so howdoes that pan out??)
however, she does have that other sideof her, the one that cares for those close to her. as far as we know, krul's motivations mainly revolve around her getting her brother backafter he was turned into a demon by the first progenitor. it's veryevident that she wants him back, using both mahiru and the seraph ofthe end experiment to find him again and (possibly?) resurrect him.however, we don't know much about these motivations, so i'll talkmore about her connection to mika (who's surprised by that tho???)i've gone over this in my krul n mika meta, but krul seems like thesort of person that wants to offer physical affection and reassuranceto people. she hugs mika twice and holds him close when he feeds, something he needs and something she seems to want to give away, which seems very unusual for a vampire.
Tumblr media
ithink krul is the type that wants a family and a connection, even ifit's not something conscious. she wants her brother back with her,and she can sometimes treat mika like he is her child. sheoffers him comfort and she keeps him safe in her own way, going sofar as to allow ferid to drain her rather than letting mika endangerhimself by trying to fight him (of course she could have done soassuming that mika would be of better use to her later on since shestill needs his seraph powers, but she had no guarantee of himsurviving without her anyway)
so, as a human, i think krul would bethe type of character that is fiercely powerful and takes pride in it, someone who has ashort temper and will go into a fight on a moment's notice, but whocares deeply for her family. and that really fits with the story ofons, you know? if she were human, her ability to care for otherswould be much more potent, and she would give people hell if theylaid a finger on those close to her. she would be someone that wantsto display her power, both to keep ppl away from the ones she loves, and to keep them out of the way of her goals. I think a majordifference would be that she would end up less logical as a human, letting her emotions and temper get the better of her. I think as avampire, her emotions probably fizzle out quicker and are much easierto disengage from, allowing her to then think through a situation.i'm not at all saying she would be stupid but she would be reckless, sort of realizing the mistakes she made after the fact. I don't knowif she would be more openly affectionate with those she cares about, but I think she would be less ambiguous (such as with mika). much ofher iciness probably stems from the fact that she is a vampire, andtherefor less prone to caring. krul would never be cuddly, but ithink if she were human, mika would have a better idea of where he stands with her. i think she would show her affection not so much withwords but physically, just reassuring touches or pats on the head lol (another side note: i love how mika and krul compliment each other this way: he needs to be physically comforted and she’s apparently fine with obliging that)
this is....too long but i'm sointerested in human krul! i hope we get to see her soon in themichaela light novels. krul is a very interesting vampire tho, sinceshe has a plethora of emotions that she acts on regularly. while thismay just be kagami ignoring his own rules, i like to think shemaintained some of her humanity because of her brother. we also havethe incredibly interesting tidbit of how she, along with the otherthird progenitors, were turned as children bc of an “experiment”by the first progenitor. while we have no way of knowing what thatis, perhaps is does mean child vampires are unique in some way.additionally, her little bat familiar, arkanu (?) is supposedly thereto keep her power in check....krul has so many questions surroundingher!! seeing her as a human and how she was turned might solve quitea few aaaaaa

Tempest
So I sometimes write…not often tho. This is just a quick background written for an OC super robot of mine (who lives in my own world). I’m currently also typing out Demmy’s (Google Docs certainly helps when you’re out and about with ideas). I’m mostly posting for myself than anything, I don’t expect anyone to actually read it. Also, don't know how to hide text, sorry.
Tempest, The Raging Storm
Height – 60’ Weight – 50 tonnes
Speed, ground – 200mph, air – 350mph
Armor – Titanium tungsten alloy
Weapons – Thundercrack, configurable staff with 3 blades on each end that can move and rotate
Core – Arc-3 “Eureka” Reactor
Equipment – 10TK “Thunderstruck” Turbines, Vortex Thrusters
Nation of Origin – Carsana
Abilities – Generate massive amounts of electricity, which can then be channeled at objects or opponents, either thru his fists, or via the staff. Able to cause a massive charge in the air, creating thunderstorms, as well as strong magnetic currents in metals. Can also use the electricity to superheat metals, and weld them together, as well as start fires.
Personality
When he first came online, Tempest had no real personality to speak of. Over the years, however, he has become bitter with humanity and has developed temperament issues. After the incident in Carsana, he slowly became arrogant, stubborn, and prideful during his travels. He is both quick to insult, as well as to anger. While deep in his programming is still an urge to help and protect innocent people, his experiences has caused him to second guess every person he meets and think the worst of them. It helps him to bypass that part of the programming, seeing it as no one is innocent. Tempest now takes a great pride in his ability to rely on no one but himself, and has completely isolated himself from people in terms of emotional and social ties. While he has some spark of humor, it ends up being just inside jokes with himself since he doesn’t share his thoughts with anyone. However, this slowly changes over time after Demmy joins his travels.
History
Built to defend the capital from invading forces and giant monsters, Tempest came to life after many years and countless resources were poured into the project. While the nation of Carsana was remote enough to have minimal chance of invasions, it still happened to the outlying areas due to their valuable resources. Also being located in a mountain area lead to having its share of attacks from various giant creatures, whether over territory disputes or food. While they had a fairly large wall to help keep things out, fighting off threats was often incredibly costly. When Tempest came online, there was much celebration at the potential lives to be saved.
It was decided that Tempest would be built with an AI in order for him to be able to be launched immediately for any threat, instead of relying on a pilot that might not be able to get to the mech right away or possibly could be ill. His AI was tailored with the simple parameters of protecting the nation first and foremost, from any threats. Often his mere presence was enough to deter a confrontation. While most civilians enjoyed the new safety provided by the large mech, a few concerns were brought up about using an AI, and it was insisted a safety precaution would be installed in case the AI ran errant. The engineers installed an EMP device into Tempest, and used a remote for detonation to be carried by one of the engineers. If Tempest was to go out of the 5 mile range of the remote, it would set off the EMP, wiping his systems and shutting him down. The remote could also be manually activated in case of emergency.
When Tempest realized what had happened, his trust in them was beginning to be questioned. Eventually Tempest started to loathe the tiny meatbags for having control over him, even tho he was more powerful than them. Soon, the humans as well started to keep a tighter rein on the mech, putting him in restraints while not out on a mission. After a few years, and a growing resentment toward the people who had created him, Tempest began looking for ways to escape his handlers.
One day, during a maintenance routine, the engineer with the remote was up on a catwalk with several others. While they were doing a check on Tempest’s weapons, the remote was accidentally knocked off the catwalk. It survived the fall, however there was a stare-down between Tempest and the engineers, both realizing that now was a moment that could lead to either disaster or freedom, depending on the point-of-view. After a silent moment, the engineer made a dash for the ladder off of the catwalk to get to the remote, while Tempest tried to break free of his restraints. The engineer made it down the ladder just as Tempest broke free of the bond. With a roar, his massive metal fist came down on the remote just as his handler had reached it. The crashing boom echoed thru the city, and when the dust settled, all that was left was some scrap metal and a blood smear. It was the first time Tempest had killed a human, and in it, he felt a sense of freedom. No longer under the threat of the remote, the mech proceeded to break free of the rest of his restraints and ransack the facility.
The city was soon thrown into chaos as the rampaging mech took out his rage on the hapless capital, mainly focused on the military force. While he had no love for humans in him, he still refused to directly harm civilians who had no real say in what had happened to him. In the end, Tempest left the city, leaving nearly a third of it on fire and destroyed. He never looked back.
For several years, Tempest traveled across the various countries, soon becoming known as the Raging Storm in other nations due to the wake of destruction he often left in his trail. Many times, Tempest challenged others, constantly trying to prove he was too powerful to be controlled ever again. Most backed down from his challenge, however it also came at a price as Tempest usually demanded something in lieu of the challenge, such as oil, metals or even information. However, it wasn’t just human civilization that felt his power, as he often also sought out other creatures to test his mettle against; the larger the better. This even included an occasional dragon. However, Tempest made a deadly mistake when he killed a certain dragon, not realizing it was still a young drake. Since then, the mother, a First-Born Dragon named SsarKoth, had been hunting the mech down in vengeance, the two having clashed on rare occasions, but always ending in a stalemate, or the mech having to retreat from the determined dragon. The mech refused to make amends for what had been done, having become incredibly arrogant over the years, and stubborn beyond words.
Sometime, during his travels thru a forested area, he ran across a young girl. At first, Tempest didn’t give it any thought, just another human in a world running amok with them. However, he realized the girl was following him, and soon he became annoyed by his constant companion, noticing that she was constantly watching from somewhere nearby. After a couple of days of this, he attempted to confront her, tho unsure about the situation as she appeared to have no fear of him, which he took at first for being foolhardy. When he threatened her, however, he quickly realized that it was him who was foolhardy.
She revealed herself to be Yggsil, a name that Tempest had heard before but wasn’t familiar with. Her form changed to that of a fierce bird warrior, and he quickly found himself in a fight for his life against the powerful being. She defeated him with raw power, but even then, he still wouldn’t let his pride admit to the loss. That was when he found out why he had heard of the name: she was the Goddess of Balance and Justice that the organics worshipped, tho at the time, Tempest didn’t believe such a being could exist. Because Tempest continued on his destructive path against other beings after the events in his home city, Yggsil saw that the mech couldn’t let go of his hatred against humans, and continued to take it out on people who had nothing to do with his situation. In order to force him to work with humans, she cursed him to have a cockpit, and that none of his equipment or weapons would work, and that his strength would be nearly useless, unless there was a pilot in the seat. And so she left the mech, battered and broken, to fend for himself in a world that had no love for him, nor he for it.
For several days, Tempest wandered around, avoiding cities and populated areas, realizing he could no longer defend himself. Soon tho, SsarKoth found him once again, and the fight had become completely one-sided between the two. For the first time, the mech knew fear. Fighting was no longer an option for Tempest, and quickly learned what it must’ve felt like for the humans who fell before him in an uneven power match. The battle ended with the mech toppling off of a cliff into the ocean and disappearing into the waves below. It was quite some time before he surfaced again on a beach far away from where he had started. He had no desire to move, and laid there, going offline.
Tempest awoke to an odd sensation, feeling something rummaging around inside of him, specifically inside of his new cockpit. As he was getting up, a small human came tumbling out of his open door, surprising both it and the mech. From their back, the human female looked up at the gigantic mech towering over her, looking perturbed. There was an awkward moment, when the girl realized that the mech wasn’t just a regular machine. While Tempest had a series of nasty choice words for her, she soon showed that her vocabulary was equal to his in terms of insults. After a long series of verbal bouts with each other, the human realized there was something wrong with the mech. Introducing herself as Demetria, or Demmy for short, she tried to pry some info from him. Tempest eventually relented, realizing this might be his best chance to survive the curse. He’d hoped that he would be able to control her, but soon found out that she was just as stubborn as him. He needed a pilot, and she needed a means to get away.
The two eventually made a strained pact with each other to help the other. Over time, it developed into a friendship deep enough that the two were never seen without each other. They were a couple of misfits in a huge world rife with magic and technology.

you should talk about your ocs! please... tell me about them...
hooh boy you don’t know what you just started
rubs hands together
Oliver, Julian, and Lucus are part of a kind-of-real-life universe that my friend made up for his elsen oc’s (I made them specifically for that new universe, out I also rly rly love elsen so they have OFF versions too) These are my main ones, the ones I think about daily, the ones I will cherish forever
I had literal paragraphs for these guys but I cut them down cause it was a fuckin book
Oliver is my top #1 oc, I love him so much. He’s really fuckin tall, and is the softest nicest person ever. He’s that one guy that is terrifying when he’s angry because he rarely ever is. He wears nothing but sweater and will die of heatstroke before he takes one off. His favorite color is pink. He doesn’t get enough sleep and works 2 full time jobs, at a hardware store in the mornings and at an arcade evenings. When the fair comes around in summer, he works weekends there too. He’s bad at cooking cause he only has time for coffee, microwave diners, and his girlfriend (who is teaching him how to cook). In OFF, he’s a carnival worker in Zone 2, and is dead insideHe was created specifically for my friend’s oc, Eli, who is his girlfriend and they love each other so gosh dang much. He is also Lucus’s and Julian’s kind-of-father-figure (and used to be their cushion, until Eli told him she wasn’t comfortable with seeing them so physically intimate without her, and he respected her and asked them to stop, which they did)
Lucus is Loud Boy. He has severe ADHD and is Gay As Fuck. He is almost always smiling and laughing. He’s the one who always gets in trouble, but everyone loves him cause he’s super nice and rambunctious. He’s the one who goes to Pride almost naked. He’s even worse at cooking than Oliver. Like, most people who are bad at cooking get the reaction “Oh whatever, it’s a mess, but it’s mostly edible.” His is “God jesus please don’t let him touch anything in the kitchen, please lord.” He works as a mailman, but only the guy who takes the package and puts it next to the door, cause he can’t drive, even he knows it’s a bad idea for him to try. He also can’t remember if his name is actually Lucas or Lucus, but he’s been writing “Lucus” for as long as he could remember, and no one corrected him, so he just rode with it.In OFF, he’s one of the postal workers in Zone 1, and he opens letters, reads them, throws them out, and steals from his coworkers’ quotas.
Julian is Sour Boy. He’s quiet, anxious, depressed, bitter, and guarded. He’s not mean, but he’s very scared of people as has become bitter as a sort of defense for when people dislike him, which he thinks is often. He’s very quietly polite, though, and though he has a lot of trouble being close to someone, and once he does he’s very warm. He’s also very witty and has insane clap backs, like he’s the one that destroys people (Lucus fucking loves it). He rly loves hanging things like mobiles, and his ceiling is covered with them. He works at a butcher’s shop, but because of how cheap and terrible his boss is, he cuts himself on the bad equipment a lot, so his arms are covered in small scars (not from self harm though). In OFF, he works as one of those people who take the metal from the cow halves, which is where he cuts his hands. When he finds a piece he rly likes, he’ll take it and hang it up in his home.
Julian and Lucus are qpp, they’re so fucking tight. They met in college, and have been roommates ever since, but soon after they got an apartment, they started sleeping in the same bed. Lucus used to have a crazy crush on Julian, but Julian is ace aro, and Lucus respected his boundaries and values him too much to be away from him. In turn, Julian respects when Lucus rly needs sexual attention and goes to pick someone up. Julian supports Lucus, and Lucus encourages Julian, to the point where they save each other’s lives. I like to say that Julian keep Lucus from burning alive, and Lucus keep Julian from freezing to death.
I could write a WHOLE LOT MORE about them but that’d be nutsALRIGHT then there’s also Jamie and Annie, who are a couple that met online, and now either visit each other often, or have moved in together, I can’t rly decide which.
Jamie is a trans boy, and started transitioning back in middle school. He’s fully transitioned now, with top and bottom surgery, with strong support from his mother, who is dead now. He LOVES anything nautical, absolutely loves it. He sings sea shanties to himself, he has tattoos, he’s saving up for his own boat, the works. He especially loves pirates, and reads anything he can on them. He’s kind of condescending, especially at first glance, but he’s strongly supportive of Annie.
Annie is a very very shy girl, and super insecure. She rly doesn’t like herself, especially her body. Like at all. She only wears baggy clothing, and is constantly doubting if she’s worth Jamie. She’s also an amputee with one of her legs, though I don’t know to what extent, from the knee at the highest I think. Back when she was a kid, her father moved to alaska and brought her with, cause he was super into shit like alaskan reality TV and Call of the Wild and stuff. He prepared as much as he could, even lived with a local for a while to get the hang of it. But one time, when Annie was out hunting, a blizzard came in and trapped her way away from their home. She nearly died and ended up losing some of her leg. That’s what made her father decide that it wasn’t worth it, and moved them back.
Jamie super admired her courage, not only in that, but in her surviving day to day, and Annie really admires Jamie’s confidence and ambition. They also both greatly appreciate the love they give each other, since they both feel super alone.
Amour is a poly girl who just wants to find the loves of her life. Her name isn’t legally Amour, but that’s the one she likes using (I can’t remember which legal name I decided for her) She’s also socially anxious, kind of like Annie, but not because of self loathing. She’s more scared of outside opinion than herself. She’s also a sort of sex worker who caters especially to those with a “fat kink,” though she’s also a fan of doing lingerie and other stuff that I haven’t decided. She’s a very new oc, so there’s not much about her yet, but I know she runs an nsfw blog with at least a few other people, one of which being a girl she looks up to highly.
I also have a Starbound oc whose name I can’t quite remember. She’s a novakid and she’s awesome. She’s all cheery and silly until she kicks ass. She loves her crew and thinks they’re all awesome.
Whisper was created for my by a friend, he’s based on the will-o-the-wisps. He’s a teeny little being made out of like plasma, and he wears a hooded cloak and has a crescent moon shaped mask that covers all but one eye. He leads humans deep into the forest to feed… other things. He loves shiny things and LOVES soda, and can create minor illusions.
Whisper’s friend is the same species as him, but she hates humans hates being around them, hates hearing about them. They only thing they’re good for is feeding… other things. And also using certain body parts for spells n shit. She’s a very angry little witch. She has long spiky twigs coming out of her head, and she can make and control brambles. She wears a lil witchy cloak and a big hat, and a scrap of cloth covering one eye that’s snagged on some of her head twigs. I’ve been calling her Bramble Witch, but she still needs an actual name.
Rei’orin was created to rp with a friend of mine, but he’s kind of grown into a universe of his own. He was originally a djinn in the rp, but has since become a strong magical mass with highly destructive tendencies. His power can be compared to that of our sun, but beings who are more like the size of Rigel decided he was too much of an asshole and trapped him on earth, just when it was being formed. He was so pissed, he delayed the cooling of the crust and formation of the first cells by a fuckin while. When he calmed down, he participated in whatever life popped up, especially human civilization. Then humans discovered him and found out he was being held there against his will, and used it to develop trapping mechanisms of their own, which they used to trap other djinns/star beings on earth for their own purposes. When they thoroughly understood how to do it, they trapped him not just on earth, but a teeny little object that they could manipulate him with as well. Also he’s genderfluid!! As far as human identities go
Bois is a demon who’s job it is to corrupt souls and bring them to hell. Most demons have a different methods, and Bois’s is to pose as a potential victim of the person’s worst desires and have them take it out on him. Once they do, he’s able to take their newly corrupted souls to hell. He’s a very sassy boy, and doesn’t get along with one demon in particular, whose abilities I can’t quite remember.
I also used to have a mer oc named Ahti that lived in a mangrove forest, befriended a young pheonix girl, and traveled around with her after another, older, more powerful pheonix lady gave him legs and turned him into a wizard. He grows old and after the pheonix girl dies and is reborn, he continues to travel with her despite the loss of her memories, and kind of raises her. This happens multiple times, until he grows old and dies. I don’t rly rp with him anymore tho…
ALRIGHT AND THIS IS THE BIG DOOZYThese next ones are all for the universe I’ve been developing for a while. I can’t say much about them cause to do that I would need to explain the rest of the world along with them
FIRST is the cyclops lady (wth 6 arms), who is a seer and STILL after all this time, doesn’t have a name. She used to just be a regular old cyclops lady who got married to someone of another species (he was a big boy). Soon after they got married, however, one of the divine forces of their world bestowed her with an eye that could see the future. All was fine for a while and she was learning to deal with it with her husband’s support, until a few years later when they were caught in a fire. Something took over her, kind of like a divine instinct, and forced her to sacrifice half of her body and her husband to keep her eye undamaged. She completely lost the use of 3 of her arms, and partially on the other 3, and she can only really do stuff with her top right arm. She also keeps the femur bone of her husband as a keepsake, and uses it as a cane (it’s still a bit too big for her). Now she works as the seer for the royal council of the 5 other nations, as well as owning a magical items shop. She also sells potions (which are very dangerous and outlawed) on the black market
One of the Royal Council members is a queen called The Silenced. She is very very intimidating. She wears a mask and doesn’t speak a word. Before she became queen by herself, she used to rule with her husband, but bad shit happened and she ended up getting exposed to divine magic. Unlike the cyclops seer, she wasn’t given the ability to deal with it, and instead was severely wounded. Her face was disfigured and she mentally lost the ability to speak.
Another of the Royal council is the Bramble King, who is a partial floating skeleton with an animal skull, spiral horns, field grass growing out of his skull, and a big ol cloak. He looks intimidating but he is just the friendly grandpa.
Another of the Royal council is Loch Raven, who is a beast covered in feather, with a raven’s head and 6 arms, though she walks quadrupedal. Despite being a bird thing, she sends the vast majority of her time in the water, and is only comfortable in the swamp that is most of her kingdom. She is always wet, and never dry ever. Like you could try and dry her off and she would never be dry. Her kingdom’s leadership is based on a tournament style overtaking every few years or so. Someone who wants to be ruler challenges the current ruler and they fight to the death. Whoever wins gets to be ruler from then until someone challenges them. Loch Raven has the 2nd or 3rd longest lasting rule so far, lasting a could decades.
A recent addition to the royal council is a pair of twin magitech robots (kind-of object heads) Their kingdom was previously ruled by a dictator who would not be let into the council, and has recently gone through a civil war that has left most of their land a wasteland. Once the resistance won, the twins, who had been strong leaders in the war, took over and asked to be part of the council.
The last member is a friend’s oc, a big fuckin mantis whose kingdom is on the other side of nearly impenetrable mountains.
All the monarchs get to bring two advisors to the council, and no one else.
there was another old character that I included in this universe, that used to be the guardian of an unknown forest somewhere, without knowing who made them or why they were created, only that their purpose was to defend the forest. Since then, I’ve moved them to this universe, where they defend the forest that was where life first began on the planet. They’re this big thing, like at least 20 ft. They have a face made out of wood and long straight black hair, and two long feathers on their forehead, kind of like antenna that point backward. They don’t have a body, but a big sheet of moss, leaves, vines, etc swoop down like a cloak from where their shoulders should be.
WELL THAT’S ALL MY MAJOR CHARACTERS I THINK
gosh I love oc’s, they’re so rad
I rly rly appreciate you asking about them, thank you so much 💖💖💖

Note
1, 4, 8 for rkorya, 5 and 7 for ravage, 2 and 8 for avari!
already did 1, so!
rkorya
4. If your character is in pain, do they let everyone around them know just how bad it is, or do they tend to try and cover it up and say they’re fine? Does this ever result in negative consequences, whether it’s people ignoring their complains when they actually do have a bad injury, or their injury going untreated when they really do need help?
there’s a fair bit of pragmatism in how rkorya approaches being injured, mostly bc she puts her service to the empire before her own pride. so while she demands the Best from her own performance, she... tries to be aware of her limits and be upfront with how badly she’s hurt so she doesn’t falter when needed
however this is backed up with edgy sith shit, as everything is, with her... injuries and pain are a resource, an easy way to tap into resentment or vengeance or just “this hurts and if I can’t make it stop I can make it worse for someone else”. so she also on occasion has to make the decision whether it’s wise to try to like. actually retreat and get patched up or risk being killed for the Extra Implacable Power she can then draw from
that aside, she’s often understated about how badly she’s hurt at first glance - she can’t manage entire stoicism but she’ll seem composed enough and try not to draw attention to her situation. it tends to shorten her temper a great deal though and you can gauge the severity of a wound by just how snappish she becomes. this tends to be worse for Everyone Else, tho - while she makes a point of trying not to punish or hurt people for simply being obnoxious or mildly inconvenient, this goes out the window when she’s in a lot of pain. it’s Not Wise to bother rkorya when she’s recovering unless you’re either someone she respects or part of her crew
8. Describe how your character deals with failed or failing relationships, whether familial, platonic, romantic, sexual, or otherwise.  Do they easily let go of people, or are they more likely to hold onto a relationship for as long as they can? Does this affect how they form relationships?
if anything rkorya is almost too willing to cut off relationships that seem like they won’t work out. she’s secretly (it’s especially a secret to herself) rather isolated and lonely and has trouble building relationships outside of her duties when on her own. if something becomes an obstacle or she feels like something has changed in how she relates to someone she’ll just let go of it completely and distance herself and focus on Other Things
she was uh. well aware that it was v likely she would outrank and outpower her close family once she became an apprentice and then a lord and just avoided the potential difficulty of navigating that by just deciding not to visit them ever again. she’s good at this!!!
ravage
5. Does your character tend to make decisions based on instincts or “gut feelings,” or do they rely more on logic and careful consideration? Do they ever try to find a balance between the two?
something of an even split here - as someone with such empathic ability, ravage makes a lot of decisions based on what he picks up from others, but... he has to use his experience and more pragmatic knowledge to filter that? he was def way more focused on being instinctive before the decepticons became a militarized movement, and tempered that during the war out of... necessity
sometimes now he has to keep himself from working on instinct at all because everyone is sad and fucked up and if he tried to act on that he’d get p much nowhere
7. Has your character ever had to overcome a big fear in order to complete an important task?  If so, what was the fear, and what did they have to do to overcome it?  If not, have they ever failed at a task because of a fear?
god I’m not even sure which situation best applies but bc of Recent Events I’m gonna go with the rift experiment! because that put him in literally... the worst possible scenario - a cybertron without the leader he followed that was doomed to slowly chipping away at itself, classifying entire groups as obsolete, where he was a target just because he was no longer supposed to exist
and he had to survive and make it back when the rifts pulled him back in anyways but... it honestly was a huge feat of will that he didn’t just curl up somewhere and freak out silently until the rift got him again
avari
2. What is your character’s dream career?  Are they actively trying to pursue it, or is just a wish/fantasy they have that they know can never come true?
she’s... forgotten what she wanted to be as a child, which is a little sad but not unexpected in the least. a game developer, probably, or something else to do with computers. then she just wanted to make it out alive, to be safe, and an actual career beyond whatever kept her from sinking was too much commitment to even consider
and then the... digital world happened, and it was. it was a huge clusterfuck and did not exactly end well by any definition for her, but... she could do something, learn and become skilled and no longer be bound just by “am I in literal danger rn or not”??? so uh. her dream career is to be a powerful hermit who lives in digital ruins and can manipulate the world around her through hacking
nice job, avari
8. Describe how your character deals with failed or failing relationships, whether familial, platonic, romantic, sexual, or otherwise.  Do they easily let go of people, or are they more likely to hold onto a relationship for as long as they can? Does this affect how they form relationships?
relationships are fake to begin with, right?
but if rkorya will drop a relationship when she senses it’s not going well, avari will sprint away from it at the first hint of any kind of trouble. her overwhelming mindset is that good people will leave or die, and everyone else will inevitably turn on or disappoint you, so best not to get close, right? staying distanced and alone keeps you safe.
that said, she’s fairly bitter when someone does do the inevitable, and will stay salty about this Certain Betrayal for quite a long time. just because they did what she expected doesn’t mean she has to be happy about it... and being quietly bitter is p much how she deals with. most of the world by now.
she’s a v optimistic character,,,,

The Pun Man
Okay, the title of this post is gonna make sense only once you get to the part where I talk about the backstory of this character and I explain a little bit more about his name. In the meantime, let's just say that I love this quite PC a lot and I was happy I had a chance to play him for a couple of sessions; you guys, today I'm gonna talk to you about Sal, the Water Genasi Druid. Once again, gotta point out that we play in a revised version of the Forgotten Realms. Also, I played him in what was supposed to be a one shot, so our DM allowed us to play with 4th level PCs. But it’s pretty common for our group to take forever to do anything, so that one dungeon we were supposed to clear in one session became instead sort of a "back-up campaign". It's in the same setting as our original campaign anyway, just on the other side of the world. But let’s go back to what you came here for!
Water Genasi Druid (Circle of the Land) with a Sailor background
Tumblr media
Noteworthy Proficiencies -Saving Throws: Intelligence, Wisdom; -Skills: Athletics, Perception (from the sailor background), Survival, Nature; -Tools: Navigator's tools, Water vehicles (from the sailor background), Herbalism kit;
Noteworthy Random Features -Resistance: resistance to acid damage. -Amphibious: can breathe air an water. -Swim: has a swimming speed of 30ft. -Call to the Wave: knows the cantrip shape water, after reaching 3rd level can cast once per long rest create or destroy water as a 2nd level spell.
Tumblr media
Something about his backstory The main reason why Sal hates his name is because his mother died giving birth to him and his dad was never in the picture. So, of course, the Druidic Circle took care of him from the moment he came into life, and the very first thing they did was give him a name. The Elders in his Circle were not really creative tho (not did they really care), so his full name ended up being the literal translation of "from water comes one" from the druidic. Which sounds something like Salrn Tulmu (and yes, Sal is actually the word "come", so I think you are starting to get where the “pun man” title comes from). Anyway, his was not a happy childhood; no one in the Circle really wanted to take care of him, so he kept being handed from one care taker to another, while the Elders of the Circle dictated from afar over what was best for his education. Sal was not really happy with how the Elders run things in the Circle like tyrants, with almost a sense of self-importance and indifference for some of their people (the outcasts and those without magical skills, mainly). When a mysterious plague started exterminating the people of the two main cities of his island and the Elders decided to lock down the Circle in a forced isolation instead of lending all the help they could give, Sal, already in his thirties and not really scared of the Elders, tried to change their minds in the most pacific way possible. Because of that he was cast out of the Circle and after trying to understand exactly what was happening on the island without success, he started traveling throughout the seas in search of an answer. Along the way he might have made some enemies of a couple of pirates, he might have gained a nickname and a reputation on friendly ships, he might have fallen in love with a straight as fuck captain (without ever admitting it to said Captain), he might have injured his right leg pretty bad too... but hey, he also saw a bunch of cool animals and you know, that is always useful for a druid.
Ability Scores (+2 Constitution, +1 Wisdom) Okay I gotta admit I got super lucky when I rolled this PC's scores. But while I had all those good numbers (an 18 that was about to be a 19, a 16 and a 14 that was about to be another 16), I also had a 7. I knew I could choose once again low Charisma, or at least low Intelligence, but sometimes fate is just there to help you when in doubt! Those were the weeks where I was obsessed with Xanathar's Guide to Everything cause it had just been released and... Let’s say I took a little too far one of the rolls I made to build this poor man's backstory that said: "You suffered a grievous injury. Although the wound healed, it still pains you from time to time." SO, enough premises! Sal's highest score is of course his spellcasting ability score, Wisdom, which, once I adjusted him to a 4th level PC, I actually already got up to 20. If you had to ask me, Sal has a "hippy dude straight out from the 60s" kind of wisdom, so... Following, with those 16 I was talking about before, are Constitution and Strength, which to me was pretty straightforward: it's just how things are after years on a ship!  As for Charisma and Intelligence they are just average, nothing special to say about them, just that Sal probably likes to talk when he thinks he might soothe some kind of conflict with his wisdom. Alright, back to that 7 then. Did you already notice what’s missing? Yes, I was crazy enough to put it on Dexterity. It's actually an 8 after I adjusted it with the 4th level ability score improvement, but... Yeah, that is still pretty bad for his AC and any other Dexterity based thing. It's just that dang right leg's injury fault! I just liked to much the idea that he got hurt and he still hasn't recovered yet. I wanted to keep this little imperfection with him forever, or at least as long as possible, especially since he had those good scores already and I did not want another super unbalanced PC. And the low AC did almost kill him the first time we got surprised and for some reason everyone attacked him, but you know... Sometimes having fun with the roleplay is more important than having a perfect PC, and I actually enjoy that he is like he is!
A quick look into the gameplay/roleplay While I was sure I had to do something in the future for this PC to fix the mess I brought on myself with the decision of placing the lower score on Dexterity, I already knew it was still gonna stay a negative modifier. In the meantime, I gave the poor dude a spear to use not only as a weapon but as a walking aid of some sort. It's supposed to be one of the reasons why is stealth is shit too, cause if you walk around with a stick that keeps making noise with every step you take, you know... Other than that, before we started playing I thought he was gonna cast barkskin on himself and charge with the rest of the party. But the party is made of a coward/selfish rogue which does not need anyone else with him to have sneak attack most of the times (for anyone who does not know what I'm talking about, it's a Swashbuckler thing), a wizard which of course is gonna stay as far away as possible from melee, and another druid which did pretty much the same as the wizard cause he also likes to cast spells more than wild shaping into stuff. So I kinda ended up using more spells than I thought I would, which is why I seriously think I'll consider either War caster or Spell sniper as feats for this poor guy if he gets to live long enough to choose them. I might pick Elemental adept too sooner or later, but it's probably a better idea if I get Tough first of all, so at least he’ll have a couple more hit points since its still gonna be so easy to hit him and he's probably gonna fail a lot of Dexterity saving throws too along the way. I know Resilient also sounds like a good idea, so I won’t have to worry about his saving throws at least, but I’m still not sure if I want for him to get rid of the negative modifier issue. I’ll see how bad it gets along the way, I suppose... On the more roleplay side of things, from the very first moment I thought of Sal, I knew I wanted him to be the chillest dude ever. He literally looks and talks like he's 24/7 stoned. Some of the things he says make him literally sound like a 40 years old hippie from the 60s, but I kinda like that he's like that. He looks like he's not dangerous at all even if he's a 5.9ft kinda muscly blue dude, and he's perfectly aware that’s what people think of him; which he uses to his advantage. I mean, he kinda is a dork too, which is why on ships they called him "Tool" (he also used to take swims in the ocean when he felt like it, so people really started thinking he was a bit crazy; part of his name sounds kinda like Tool when read, so that nickname was born). But for the most part he's just a really trusting guy that wants to make the world a better place. He can struggle with his pride sometimes, but he's aware of it at least; he's just waiting for it to be his downfall. If the occasion arises he prays to both Selune and Mielikki, mainly out of habits cause they were the two goddesses his Circle prayed.
Tumblr media
His favorite spells&Wild Shapes Like I said, I haven't played him that much, and he was the first spellcaster I had the pleasure to be. But it was really fun to think: “do spellcasters actually have favorite spells?”. And I kinda like the idea that everyone has their “go-to” spells related to their personality. It might be important to point out, also, that I chose Forest for his Circle: the Circle was on an Island of course, but they were in the middle of it, hidden in a Forest.
Spells Cantrips:
Thorn Whip: actually really useful when you have another spellcaster in the party, especially if they leave around area spells and you bring dudes back inside the area of the spell so they get hit by the spell damage of the other caster once their turn starts. Also useful if you want to drag enemies out of reach from one of your allies, which means opportunity attacks! What I'm implying with this is, I like to get creative with this cantrip and so far it worked better than I thought!
Magic Stone: I already wanted Sal to use mainly stones or his club as his physical weapons, since I would gain such a nice bonus with both of them if I used this cantrip and Shillelagh on them (which Sal has too, btw). I also knew this spell would be fun when it came to roleplay, cause Sal was gonna have to actually search for stones to throw to have some ready before the fight. And of course it was silly to hear, at the end of my turn, the DM say to the rogue (which had nothing to use for ranged attacks) "so, Sal stands there, with three stones on his open hand, while shouting at you to use them against the bad guys". It was even funnier when I told the player what the bonus for those attacks was.
1st LV:
Ice Knife: I actually like a lot this spell; it does not require concentration, which is good since Sal already has a bunch of other spells that do need that, and if you miss you might still have a chance to deal some damage! And it also makes lot of sense for a water genasi to cast it since it’s practically in his nature to be good with water manipulation!
2nd LV:
Barkskin: Like I said before, Sal's AC sucks pretty bad. That does not mean he doesn't like to attack directly the enemy. I mean, that is probably the whole reason why he got hurt in the first place, even if it happened in his backstory... And while he can wild shape to deal damage, he likes to hit with his club too, every once in awhile! Which is why it's good that Barkskin is one of his Circles spells!
Heat Metal: This is what I immediately dubbed the "you made Sal very very angry" spell. Cause I feel like he wouldn't normally use this kind of spells, but he always have this one ready nonetheless for those kind of pieces of shit that like to kill people just for the pleasure of the kill or things like that.
Healing Spirit: I don't know about you, but I pretty much love this spell. I see myself literally saying as Sal in an out of combat situation, maybe when the entire party is pretty low on health, to just do a nice “ring around the rosey” with the totem in the middle, so everyone gets the effects of the spell... and there, the most OP 2nd LV healing spell ever! Don’t know if a DM would actually go with this idea, but it just sounds like it would work.
Moonbeam: once again, this is more of a flavor thing, but I liked it so much that I kept it; Sal was born near what are referred to as moon pools in one of the manuals (I think it’s the Sword Coast Adventurer’s Guide), so I liked the idea of some kind of connection between the moon and his Circle. Like I said, Sal does pray every once in a while to Selune and Mielikki because it was something they did in the Circle, so I just wanted him to use this spell too every once in awhile...
Wild Shapes
Giant crab: this is more of a me thing and less of a Sal thing; I just got really obsessed with the crab being able to grapple one target in each of it's claws. I know the DC to escape is super low, but I still though it might be useful for at least a turn or two in some circumstances so... yeah.
Elk: while I do know the Warhorse is good both for a fast way to move and for attacks in the middle of a fight (duh, it is a Warhorse after all), I kinda still thought Sal would chose to be an Elk if he needed to retreat in the middle of the battle. It just sounds cooler in battle to him? I don’t know, guys, it’s just a thing.
Giant wolf-spider: like I said multiple times, he's not good with all those things that really require Dexterity. And the list includes climbing, jumping over things, hiding... So, you know, what better than a spider if you need to do all of that? And this one sounded so cool, since it can do a bunch of other stuff too...
Black bear: those multiattacks just sounded nice man... It just made sense as the one true option of melee fighting creature. And since he used to live in a forest he for sure saw at least those in his life.
Reef shark: I mean, same as for the bear, but in water? And he has for sure seen multiples sharks with all of the times he decided to just take a swim in the ocean while he was on all of those ships.
Warhorse: like I said, it's just the fastest kind of horses and I'm sure some of the guards in the big cities the ships docked must have had one of those. People might pay a little bit more attention to someone running around on a warhorse (or a warhorse running around alone), but you know, it might be useful too in some circumstances...
Tumblr media
Look at that! We are at the end of the post once again! Okay, I’m gonna keep it short cause I feel like this one is long enough already... This was it for the PCs I actually already played. The rest of them are gonna be way more vague probably since they are mostly concepts for new characters. Some of them are gonna be ideas more suited for 1st LV characters, so people that are really starting from the very beginnings can be just ready to go (stuff like just need to adapt the character for their campaign settings and they are ready to fill in a character sheet); others will be for more advanced PCs! I will try in both circumstances to give a little bit of a vague “build” for the future of the PC, but as always, if you like just the general idea and want to use it for yourself, you are free to do so and change whatever you want to suit your needs and preferences!
