I'd love to see a dpxdc story where the Justice League knows about Amity Park and the Ghosts the whole time, and does think the ghosts are rogues to be addressed. Doesn't agree with the GIW, maybe doesn't even know about them? THE IMPORTANT PART.
The Red Huntress is the only active vigilante in Amity Park, according to the JL. Phantom is marked as one of her rogues. Maybe the Fentons even are marked as rogues from all the property damages and random shooting/sliming of citizens. Valarie is the only person successfully taking care of the ghosts, masking and suiting up in the classic vigilante way the whole time.

One woman’s life lesson is another woman’s better man.
Tumblr media
❧ babydaddy!Gojo intentionally runs into you when you’re buying groceries just to show you his girlfriend. The woman was your classmate from high school. At the first meeting, she was shy and tried avoiding your gaze but Satoru just had to call you and ask something about your daughter. Completely unnecessary but he’s just that much of a jerk. Once was considered an accident. But when it happened two, then three times, you already know that you have to change your shopping schedule.
❧ babydaddy!Gojo picks up his daughter from your house an hour late, rubbing on your face that he overslept because he spent “some time” with his girlfriend last night. Distasteful and disrespectful, but you let it slide cause he seems happy. You don’t want to be a killjoy, right? You were never his girlfriend, to begin with. Just someone he got pregnant from a one-night stand.
❧ babydaddy!Gojo posts pictures of his day out with his daughter online. His girlfriend carrying your kid as the three of them wear matching Mickey and Minnie Mouse headbands. You could only scroll past and continue your work to busy yourself. Maybe you should stop lurking around social media and just use your phone for important messages. Maybe you should also lose feelings for someone who never harbored genuine ones for you in the first place.
❧ babydaddy!Gojo always lets his girlfriend open the door for you when you’re picking up your daughter from his house on weekends. He leans back on the couch, watching you grab your daughter’s things, opening his arms to cuddle with his girlfriend before you even get to walk out the door. It made you feel pathetic and small but what can you do? There’s simply no place for you in that house.
❧ babydaddy!Gojo insists that you spend more time together for the sake of your daughter. You agreed to it and now, you had to sit in the back of the car with your daughter as he drives his girlfriend to work. It made you feel sick and nauseous that you were only able to spend half a day with them before you decided to go home and sleep the day away. Maybe when you wake up, you’ll find it in you to hate him.
“Mommy? Call her, love.” Gojo used a higher voice to encourage his daughter to call you. He knows that he was foul for what happened earlier. But what is he gonna do? He can’t reject his girlfriend’s request, plus it was only a ride. It’s not like she was with you for the whole day. Still, he doesn’t think it’s the reason why you left early. You might be feeling…tired. Even if it was Saturday yesterday and you have no work. You might still feel fatigued on Sunday, right?
“Mama!” The little girl mimicked pointing upstairs. Satoru sighed placing her little bag on a nearby chair as he made his way upstairs. He figured that if you’re still asleep, he could just wait for you to wake up and just look after his daughter here. You’re a single mother for 4 days a week, and on top of that, you also have work. You literally don’t have time to rest. He told himself that he needs to stop messing around just to get a reaction from you.
Reaching your room, Satoru knocked on the door three times, calling out your name when you didn’t answer. “Wait a second.” You voiced out from the other side, “I’m just gonna call my mom, can you wait for her?” You suppressed a cough at the end of the sentence but it didn’t go unnoticed by Satoru. “Are you sick? I could take her back to my house, we’ll look after her until you feel better. ” The suggestion made your stomach churn. They get to play house with your kid and here you are, being miserable.
You shook your head, realizing how bitter you sounded. She wasn’t unkind in any way to your baby but something in you hurts when you think of them giving your daughter the family experience that you cannot provide. You and Satoru tried to work things out but you just can’t get on the same page. Instead of trying to be better for you and your daughter, he decided to fuck around and date someone else instead.
You wouldn’t say that your name was clean. What with a couple of threats such as finding someone who could act right. You just didn’t think that he’d really leave. It hurt but now you’re getting yourself used to the feeling. Maybe he just couldn’t act right with you. Because why is he so good with his girlfriend now? She tamed him, as he once boasted to you during a fight.
“I’m stuck with a child that I have with you, but not with you.” He pointed out, leaving a searing pain in your chest. “There’s no way I’m letting that happen.” Tears were starting to form in your eyes as the words come out of his mouth. How could he say something so cruel to you, the mother of his child? All you did was tell him that his girlfriend was getting kind of too much after she told you what to do with your child. And now he’s making you the villain.
“I just told her that—” You tried to explain, voice starting to shake. “If that’s all you did, she wouldn’t come to me crying, Y/N.” You just can’t believe that you’re fighting over this. You already have so much to think about and now this, you also have to be cautious about his girl. “She told you herself, I just didn’t want her telling me how to raise my child!”
“Of course, she wouldn’t tell me that you’re being harsh to her. Unlike you, she’s actually kind and considerate of other people’s feelings.” You looked down, letting out a strangled sob escape your throat before quickly wiping away the forming tears in your eyes as you turn away from him. Why was he never this defensive of you? He didn’t even try to fight for you when his girlfriend convinced him to take your daughter with them on a trip. Without your permission.
And now he’s talking as if you’ve been nothing but a disturbance in his relationship with her. Everything's just unfair. Yet, you just let it slide because you wanted nothing but peace for your baby. “I don’t want to have this conversation with you anymore, Satoru. You’ve said enough.” You sniffed, walking to your daughter’s room to check if the noises woke her up. Satoru was left standing there, processing all the things that he said.
He watched you disappear into the dark hallway of your apartment, shoulders shaking with your head hung low. Even if he can’t see your face, he can tell that you’re crying and it made him feel like shit. He went overboard, didn’t he? “Fuck.” He threw his keys on the couch, running his fingers through his hair. He wanted to apologize but at the same time, he wanted to prove his point. His girlfriend was only trying to help and you took it the wrong way.
At that time, Satoru thought that maybe she was right. You’re just getting kinda jealous that she could spend time with your daughter and Satoru more and now you’re being too sensitive, letting out your irritation on her. She said that it was a natural feeling for a mother to feel that way but Satoru can’t let you treat his girlfriend like shit just because of your pettiness and jealousy. You have to learn to adjust and accept that some things are gonna be the way they are because of your setup.
As for you, you felt hurt. Neglected even when you know that you’re not supposed to receive as much attention, much less protection from him. His priority is your child, but not you. You have no choice but to talk and work everything out with them for the sake of your daughter. You know that you could start dating someone of your choice but you wished that it would be that easy. You just want to focus on your daughter and if you’re gonna find someone, you want them to love her as much as you do.
You wonder what you lacked that couldn’t soften him the way he did to her. You started to think that you’re the problem and that is why you couldn’t fix him as easily as she did.
You stood up, opening the door for him seeing your two-year-old, reach out to you. “Mama’s sick, love, sorry.” You covered your mouth, blinking away the heaviness in your eyes. Satoru watched you pack your daughter’s things. “If you’re gonna be busy, just tell me. I’ll just contact Mom. She can be with you for a few days, just until my cold is gone.” You murmured, counting the diapers to put in her baby bag.
You don’t want to be away from her, but letting her stay with you when you’re like this puts her at risk and that’s the last thing you want. You can’t stand seeing your daughter through pain and you’re pretty sure it’s the same for his dad. Begrudgingly, you placed the bag in front of Satoru before reaching over for her favorite toy. You smiled at how she squealed when she saw it.
“You know we’re never too busy to take care of her. Just rest, so you’ll get better soon.” You swallowed, nodding your head slowly as you thought of what else they should take. “Yeah, I’ll be picking her up.” You kept your distance from her, sitting down as you felt your head spinning a bit. “Do you...do you have medicine, though? I could get some if you want,” Satoru can tell that you’re really sick and despite his situation with you, he can’t just let you be when you’re like this. You’re still the mother of his child.
“No, it’s fine. I have some here. Just take care of her.” Your voice was hoarse and your daughter was starting to reach out for you again as if sensing that something was wrong so you urged Satoru to get going. “Be good, okay?” You waved as she watched you with her curious eyes but waved back, nonetheless. You wouldn’t admit it but you feel envious that they could be happy together with her. You’re afraid that one day she’ll prefer being with them over you.
As for your feelings for Satoru, you hated thinking or talking about it. You’re obviously in love with him, but you wouldn’t acknowledge that yourself, either. You fought too much, you hurt each other too much. Other than that, there’s no point for your feelings now that he has someone he really loves and truly cares about.
You never experienced the boyfriend-girlfriend stage with Satoru. It’s like one day, you just woke up and you’re already parents. You can’t blame him for not having real feelings for you. You do your best to be as civil to them as you can be but sometimes his girlfriend’s just out of bounds. And after a couple of painful fights with Satoru regarding her, it just became too much for you.
You’re just tired of feeling like a wedge to someone’s healthy relationship. That’s how Satoru makes you feel and you just can’t take any ache from that.
Another thing that you deny to yourself is the hope that you might fix this all. There are always what-ifs in your mind, and you would never tell Satoru about them. He’ll probably laugh at you and your threats that you’re gonna be with someone who truly makes you happy. You would never destroy his relationship just because yours didn’t work. If you have to cover your eyes, look away and pretend to be deaf every time they’re around you, you would.
You often think about what it would be like if he settled down with his girl; if they decided to get married and have a family of their own. You don’t want your daughter to feel left out. You don’t want her to feel like she doesn’t have her own family in the middle of them. You also wondered if you’d have moved on by then. You hope so. You don’t want to be this pitiful and heartbroken forever.
------------------------------
After a couple of days, you’re finally feeling well. You got up early and sent Satoru a text that you’ll be picking up your baby in a few hours. You missed her and her giggles so much. The house was clean during the past days but you very much prefer it to be messy, as long a she’s there. You’ll never mind getting up in the middle of the night or waking up extra early for her.
Arriving at Satoru’s residence, you rang the doorbell as you waited patiently for someone to open the gate for you. You were hoping that it would be your baby girl, extending her short, chubby arms to you but instead, it was Satoru’s girlfriend. “Come in, she’s still playing inside.” She smiled at you, opening the metal door wider. “Thanks, I messaged Satoru that I was coming to pick her up. Is she ready?” You asked her as you walked to their front door.
“She is, but she’s kinda fussy about it. Satoru bought her a huge playpen and she just wouldn’t get out of it. She’s enjoying a lot.” She tucked a hair behind her ear and you can’t help but feel conscious of how you look. Opening the door, you were welcomed by the sight of Satoru lying down with his daughter in the said enclosure. She was fiddling with a toy as they watched on the big screen.
Her favorite toy was at the corner, and for some reason, it left a pang in your chest.
“Sweetie, someone’s here for you.” You hated the way she phrased it but you know that she doesn’t mean for it to be offensive or rude to you. The little girl looked up with her binky in her mouth, blinking before smiling at you. “Oh, you’re already here. She wouldn’t let me out of the playpen.” Satoru explained, probably thinking that you didn’t appreciate that it had to be his girlfriend opening the door for you.
“It’s alright. I don’t mind.” This place always made you feel like you’re an outsider. Probably because you are and it didn’t help that they’re making you feel like it. “Mama!” She waved at you, pointing at the screen as she sat down. “That’s a nice show, love. Maybe we could just continue watching it at home?” You know that she doesn’t have a big playpen there. The screen isn’t that big, either. She suddenly lied back down, whimpering as she kicked her tiny feet. You felt like telling her that you’d work hard to buy her that too.
She doesn’t want to go home yet and that’s what you feared.
“Baby, mom’s here. She missed you.” Satoru called out but to no avail. He came to lift her up, trying to see if she was just being too lazy to get up. Her eyes were glued to the television as she sucked on her pacifier. She was too into it, pointing the show to everyone before smiling at you. Oh, how you missed that smile. “Let’s go, now.” You cooed at her, softly clapping your hands.
When you tried to reach for her as Satoru leans her close to you, she started wiggling around. “Down, Mama! Wait.” Her cute language never ceases to make your heart swell with joy despite the fact that she’s trying to get away from you. She runs away, stopping to look around before going to Satoru’s girlfriend and hugging her leg. She was in awe when she picked up your daughter.
So… she’s who your daughter’s referring to by…Mama. You could almost hear your heart shatter at the realization. Since when did she start calling her Mama?
“You don’t wanna go home yet? But Mom’s here.” She talked in her baby voice and you don’t know if you’re gonna be happy that she treats your daughter really well or jealous that she came running to her when she don’t want to do something. Satoru went up to them, leaving you standing a few meters away. You don’t like what you’re seeing aside from your daughter.
“It’s not good to ignore Mama.” Satoru tapped her nose with his finger which she cutely swatted away, eliciting a chuckle from him. “Y/N, I was thinking… maybe I could just, uh, take her home later in the day. This playpen just arrived yesterday and you know how kids are…” He laughed nervously, struggling to find a nice way to say that your daughter won’t be coming home yet.
“Yesterday, I was joking about giving her playmates and she was so excited, she was running around.” His girlfriend giggled as she shared. It was a simple story yet it was a thorn to your heart. Why does it seem like your every nightmare is coming to life? You just smiled at her, understanding that she was talking about giving your daughter siblings. Satoru was silent, but you didn’t dare look at his face. You know that it’s in their future plans and you don’t have to see him smiling about it too.
“That’s adorable..” You don’t know what else to say, so you just nodded your head slowly, blinking quickly so as to bring yourself back to reality. His place was huge compared to your apartment. The playpen looks so much more comfortable than the crib she has at your place. She has new toys and a mom and dad by her side. So, now she doesn’t want to leave. Suddenly, you can feel the weakness in your knees from when you were sick starting to come back. You cleared your throat as you straightened yourself.
“J-just take her home later. I, uh, bought something for her.” You lied, knowing that you still have to go looking for something you can buy for your lovely child. You wanted to snatch her away from Satoru’s girlfriend, her other mom, but the giggle flowing out of her lips are too precious for you to ruin; the smile on her face as she tickled her tummy was too priceless. Look at them, you told yourself as you started to feel farther and farther away from their little world. They’re a picture of a happy family.
“I’ll see you later, honey…” You whispered, giving her head a pat as she looked up at you with her big, cerulean eyes. You didn’t wait for any of them to walk you out, you just let your feet take you out of their home, not daring to look back for the fear of breaking down. Your fingers tremble along with your lips and the tiny droplets of rain felt like acid on your skin. Maybe what they say was true. We experience people differently.

My thoughts during “The Sign” [SPOILERS!!!!!]

More thoughts under the cut
So I think most of us can agree that this is the best episode of Bluey so far. It was so emotional and satisfying in ways that are kinda new for Bluey. It answered so many questions while giving us a few new ones. I’ve been waiting for this episode for months and it did not disappoint in any way.
This is just a Chekov’s firing squad of an episode. As in a lot of stuff that was set up in earlier episodes all pay off in this episode. I kinda understand why people love soap operas now lol. I will say that this episode was a tad overwhelming for me in the best way possible. As in I had to pause and rewind every 30 seconds or so so I could emotionally process what was happening before moving forward (but that’s a me thing). There was just so much going on and I’m happy about that.
Now onto individual thoughts about specific things:
The callback to Baby Race (“you took your first steps in that house!”) really got to me because Baby Race was the first episode of Bluey that I watched and it immediately made me fall in love with it so it just got to me.
When Chilli said “Frisky and I came up here as teenagers to…um…think,” my mind started racing immediately with “what the FUCK happened at the Lookout?” “Who hurt Frisky and/or Chilli?” And I’m just so curious about what made Chilli say that line like that but we’ll probably never know what happened.
So yeah that scene at the end when the music was playing and Bandit ripped the sign out of the ground and Chilli tackled him to the ground ABSOLUTELY CHANGED my brain chemistry y’all. I can’t articulate my feelings any more than that.
I know some people were upset that Brandy ended up getting pregnant but I thought it was great for her! I’m happy for her! And I think that even though she got what she wanted in the end doesn’t negate the feelings she had about her infertility earlier. But I think we’re all wondering who the father is and I don’t know if the show really needs to answer that.
The whole message of “we’ll see” in terms of if something is good or bad is such a mature message that I never really thought of like that so I will be taking that philosophy forward in life. Congratulations Bluey, you managed to teach a 22-year-old childless person something new and insightful about life that I don’t think I’ve learned from another show.
I want to know more about what Bob was going through and feeling and why he went to India, but again, we’ll probably never know.
I just love how the wedding photos were beautiful but imperfect. Like of course we’re not perfect and nothing will ever be perfect but it’s beautiful and worth remembering anyway.
So many little jokes and moments were so funny in a mature way (I.e. “are we allowed to do that?” And Nana thinking there was about to be a baby announcement) were just so funny and memorable.
I think some people would say it’s a cop-out to end up not selling the house after building it up for 2 episodes but I don’t know, I think it works. I think Bluey and Bingo learned a valuable lesson and Bandit (and Chilli kinda) learned it’s not always about making their kids lives “perfect” in their eyes. Also I’m just personally glad they didn’t end up selling the house and I also kinda like that it wasn’t entirely their choice to keep it.
On a more serious note I think this episode has some interesting commentary on like gender roles and gender relations in straight relationships. In this episode Chilli and Frisky (both women) have to deal with their male significant others pressuring them to move with them far away from what they know and love. In the end they don’t end up moving and the men didn’t seem to have like malicious or selfish intent with it, they were just kinda basing their choices off their jobs instead of what’s best emotionally for their loved ones. But I think it’s interesting to have this conflict where gender is kinda brought up in a way (“because your husband is making you”). It kinda plays into the traditional idea of like men are the breadwinners and the family has to move with them regardless of what they actually want. And this episode kinda like deconstructs that and says “no, it’s not always about the job or money, it’s also sometimes about connections and emotional attachment.” And I’m not saying that you should never move or whatever, but really weigh your options. I just thought that it was interesting that this episode kinda touched on that.
So yeah that’s kinda the main thoughts I had on this episode if you made it this far thank you for reading my rambles and have a good one!

Tara hates three things in her life. You, hairless cats, and soggy bread. In that order too
She could handle hating hairless cats and soggy bread, but you? You were in Tara’s friend group. Tara hated you and to make matters worse, she was the only one that did
You were nerdy like Wes and Ethan, quick-witted and funny like Mindy and Amber, athletic like Chad, charismatic like Quinn, protective like Sam, and (allegedly) nice like Anika. You had nearly every one of her friends best traits, but Tara knew why she didn’t like you. You were really fucking annoying
Along with all of your positive traits, you were loud and obnoxiously social. Not that Tara was antisocial or anything, but god you were on a whole other level. It was mildly infuriating how you could go to a party you knew nobody at and somehow come out with more friends than you started with
All those people and you decided Tara was the one you’d annoy. A nudge to her shoulder made Tara look up from where she was putting her head down
“You look like shit” The brunette doesn’t respond and puts her head back down on the table
“Sam tase someone without your permission again?” Tara could practically hear the smirk in your voice
“Please for the love of god shut the fuck up. Your voice is the last thing I need to hear today”
“Woah, someone’s mad” You stick out your tongue in response at the glare Tara sends your way
“Suck my dick, (Y/n).”
“Don’t tempt me with a good time, Carpenter”
Tara abruptly leaves the lecture room. You think you really fucked up this time, but let out a breath of relief when you see that Tara didn’t grab her things. She was probably going to the bathroom to escape you. Which, who would ever want to escape you?
Apparently not Tara because she’s back in her seat just a few minutes before the lecture starts
“Aspirin?” You grab the bottle from a pocket in your bag, shaking it next to her
“You have Aspirin laying around?”
“Anika told me you were at a party, I figured it’s the least I could do”
“You’re trying to drug me, aren’t you?”
“If I was trying to drug you, I would’ve offered it to you at the end of class”
“Why weren’t you at the party?” Tara asks, taking the bottle from you hands and shaking out two tablets before downing them with some water
“Missed me?”
“Nope, just surprised you weren’t blackout drunk”
“Good to know you think highly of me. I was studying, thank you”
“You? Study?” Tara scoffs
“Don’t act like the idea is so out of this world”
“Right, because last time I remember you passing up a party was because your betta fish died and you forced all of us to have a funeral for him at the park”
“Trout’s death is not one to be made fun of!”
Before Tara can respond, the professor starts talking and the lesson begins. Unfortunately her head is still kind of throbbing with only mildly wanting to throw up. She had to accept she wasn’t going to get anything done until that Aspirin kicked in. Especially when she can feel you staring at her
The class goes as smoothly as it can and you notice Tara hasn’t made an effort to even try to take notes. The lesson eventually ends and when everyone gets up, the brunette begrudgingly does too
You bump your shoulders together and Tara glares at you with enough power you actually manage to feel fear for a split second until you realize it’s Tara. The girl was like two apples tall. Two and a half on a good day
The brunette doesn’t realize you were handing her a paper so you physically have to place it in her hand. Her eyebrows furrow in confusion
“What is this?”
“Notes, you need them”
“I’m not buying you Raising Canes if that’s what you want”
“Since I’m such a good friend, I’ll give it to you free of charge. Just make sure to bring it back with minimal damage”
“You’re not gonna make me Paypal you fifty bucks?” Tara doesn’t have any classes for the next few hours so you two made a point to walk to your next class. She didn’t know how it started, but you were okay to talk to when you weren’t being annoying
“In my defense, Trout recently died”
“We buried him in the fucking park, I don’t think that costs money”
“It was condolence money. I made everyone pay and I think it was pretty genius”
“I really do wonder how you still have friends”
//-//
Someone knocks on the door of you and Anika’s apartment. When you realize your roommate is probably listening to music that was too loud to be healthy, you get up from your very comfortable bed
You don’t remember ordering food and you’re pretty sure Anika didn’t invite Mindy over, so the person behind the door was probably just the nice old lady across the hall that made cookies for everyone
For better or for worse, you’re met with a Tara Carpenter that’s caught off guard when you open the door. Tara usually sees you in well put together outfits so you can only imagine her surprise when she sees you wearing boxers that outlined your cock and a hoodie that barely covered it up
“Eyes are up here- What brings you to the Mojo Dojo Casa House?”
“Can’t you just let me in?” Tara’s cheeks burn in embarrassment. Thank god you just glossed over… it
“It’s protocol you identify yourself and state why you’re here” You lean on the doorframe, actively blocking the entrance to your apartment. Tara knew this was a losing battle and hated how you looked hot while winning
“Anika and I have a project we need to work on”
“You didn’t identify yourself” you’re wearing that same dumbass smirk you have after telling a horrible joke
“Tara. Tara fucking Carpenter.”
“Unfortunately I don’t think we know any Tara Fucking Carpenters. Guess you can’t come in” you shrug
“God give me patience.” Tara rubs at her temples like you’re giving her a headache
“Isn’t it god give me strength?”
“If god gave me strength, you would be dead.”
“Point taken, but you still need a password”
“You didn’t say anything about a password!”
“Yeah, well, I don’t know if you’re the real Tara or not. Say a fact about me only the real Tara would know”
The brunette pretends to think for a moment, even putting her hand on her chin and looking off into the distance for effect. When she notices you’re starting to get suspicious of her antics Tara pushes you though the door, successfully getting in without a password or confirmation
You stumble back almost like a cartoon character and you can hear Tara let out a small laugh. You can see the dimples on her cheeks whe she tries to cover it up with her hand
“Nika, your friend’s here!” You lead Tara to Anika’s room, making sure to knock loudly while Tara’s busy either checking you out or trying to blow you up with her mind. It’s unclear, but you have to lean towards the latter
“Isn’t Tara your friend too?” Your roommate opens the door, headphones around her neck
“No.”
“Yes.” Both of you say in unison. The look you give each other is almost comical with how Tara’s glaring while you’re smiling. Anika stares blankly between you two and it eventually starts to make more sense
“Stop eye fucking each other, we have work to do” Anika pulls Tara into her room. You shrug, heading off to probably yell at ten year olds on Fortnite or something
“We were not eye fucking” the shorter girl huffs, sitting on Anika’s bed
“I literally opened my door and thought you two were about to make out”
“I didn’t expect to get interrogated when I came here!” Tara flops onto her back, covering her eyes and trying (and failing) to stop the red that dusted her cheeks
“Whatever, I’ll get you to crack later”
“Kill yourself.”
//-//
Tara doesn’t understand what she’s feeling when she sees some random girl grind against you
It’s like that one scene in Euphoria when Maddy and Nate stare each other down at the school dance, except you were looking far more more bored. That is, until you see Tara glaring at both of you
Like a switch turned on, you’re suddenly more interested in the girl. You encourage her grinding with a hand kneading her hip, using your other hand to take a sip of your drink. And just like Maddy, she’s tempted to find Chad to do the same to you. She doesn’t.
Tara fucking hated you. But she also needed you now.
Making you jealous would take too long. In theory she had the time, but her hunger to taste you was making her do things she would’ve never thought of before. One of those things being grabbing your hand and leading you away from any girl that tried to even look at you.
The girl who was grinding on you calls her a bitch among other things, but Tara knows it’s worth it when she sees you smile at her like she’s your entire world. Because she was your entire world
She leads you into an empty guest bedroom of the house, locking the door before getting close enough to you she can smell the alcohol in your breath
“What’s all this about, Tar?” You grin. Tara doesn’t know if she wants to kiss or slap that smirk right off of your annoying face
“You know what this is fucking about.”
“Do I? I think you should spell it out for me.”
“You know, I’ve had it with your attitude.” Tara jabs a finger at your chest, the back of your knees hitting the end of the bed. In one motion you sit down and bring Tara down with you. You make her sit on your cock
“Anyone ever tell you you’re fucking hot when you’re mad?” You smile, finding the blush on Tara’s cheeks absolutely adorable
“Only you.”
“Good. How about we keep it that way, baby?”
“You’re so annoying.” The brunette cups your face with both of her hands, your lips fitting together like they were always meant to
“I know I am” You say in between kisses, your hands finding their way up Tara’s shirt, kneading the spot right under her boob. She forces your hand to stimulate her nipple, eliciting a moan from her mouth
“You’re so pretty, Tar. I can’t believe only I get to see you get all hot and bothered” You smile breathlessly
“Fuck. S-Stop talking like that or you’ll make me like you” Biting a hickey on Tara’s neck, you take of her shirt and her bra in a flurry of heat
“I bet you’ll like me even more when you’re bouncing on my cock” You force Tara to grind on the bulge in your pants, earning you a small whimper that makes you smile
“C’mon, all you have to do is admit you like me and I’ll fuck you better than anyone has” It should be considered torture how much you were teasing Tara. You were biting hickeys on her neck, playing with her nipples, all while a few layers of fabric were the only barriers between your dick and her pussy. Fuck you knew how to overstimulate a girl
Laying Tara on on the bed, you could really tease the brunette better in this position. You can feel the Tara’s wetness through her soaked panties, and you’re sure she can feel the pre-cum leak out of your cock. Your hands are on her hips as if you were thrusting, yet you deny her and your pleasure for the sake of being an ass
“Don’t you want me to ruin you for anyone else? I promise I’ll stretch you out so good no other guys’ cock can fill you up like me.”
“Fuck you. I hate you, you’re s-such a fucking asshole, you know that?” Tara reaches for anything she can hold onto, your arms being the nearest thing
“I can think ways you could ‘hate’ me even more” You smile when Tara reaches to take off her panties but you find her hands first. You intertwine your hands together and the action is so soft Tara almost forgets about the situation she’s in. Almost
“Whenever I masturbate I think of you, did you know that? God, sometimes I have these hookups and all I can think about is you cumming around my cock”
Tara thinks it’s embarrassing how she’s about to cum just by your sickeningly sweet voice and the constant friction between you two. Tara also thinks she’d rather die than miss an opportunity of a lifetime.
Sure you were a cocky pain in the ass, but you were her cocky pain in the ass.
“Fuck- I admit it! I think you’re the hottest fucking person in the world. I like you.” Tara looks straight into your eyes, and the smile reserved only for her makes another appearance
“That wasn’t so hard, was it Tar?”
“I still hate you.” You unbuckle your belt and unbutton and unzip your jeans with watchful eyes. You pull down your boxers just enough so that your cock springs out, making Tara’s mouth water. Fuck you were big
Pulling Tara’s panties to the side, she’s dripping wet when you swipe your finger across her slit
“Fuck- (Y-Y/n)” Tara sings when you lick up her juices with your tongue. She buries her hands in your hair, bringing you closer to her dripping cunt. You moan at her taste and the vibrations are almost enough to get Tara to cum. Almost
You rise to your knees, lining up your dripping cock with the shorter girls dripping pussy. You decide to be evil and rub your dick against her slit before easing your tip into her hole. It was infuriating how slow you were going and Tara remembers why she hated you in the first place
Tara’s whining and whimpering under you and you can’t remember a time where you’ve been happier than in this moment
Tara on the other hand, has never hated you more in her life than in this moment
The younger Carpenter decides to be bold when she grabs your shirt and forces you forward. You’re caught off guard and over half of your cock finds itself nestled tightly in her pussy as you catch yourself with your arms
“Y-You’re sneaky, aren’t ‘cha” With your face so close to hers, Tara realizes you’re as much of a victim to your teasing as she is. She can tell it’s taking everything inside of you not to fuck her raw until your dick is limp and Tara’s legs are sore
“You can go fast. I can handle it, baby” Tara cups your face with her hand, stroking your cheek with such softness like you aren’t literally lodged into her cunt like a dog in heat
With that confirmation, you give Tara a peck on the lips and buck your hips in such a way you hit that spongey spot inside of her
The sound of skin slapping is louder than the blasting music downstairs, but your grunting and Tara’s moaning combined are louder than both. Thank god the owner of the house was your friend because you don’t know if you could come out of that room if this is what Tara sounded like
“Fuck- I’m close” You say a little too breathlessly for your liking
“Don’t p-pull out.” The shorter girl uses your shirt as leverage to keep you inside of her. Your eyebrows furrow in confusion
“T-Too messy, don’t feel like cleaning up.” Tara answers between moans like she can read your mind
The familiar heat you’re so used to finally snaps. Wrapping her legs around yours, you cum with almost a guttural whine. Your orgasm is enough for Tara to have hers and you fuck her through it, making sure none of your cum drips out of her hole
You pull out and a few dribbles of your semen flow out of her cunt. You plug her pussy with your fingers and Tara is far too sensitive to handle it
“D-Don’t tell me you’re tired already?” Tara jokes, but all air in her lungs leave when you let out a laugh of your own
“I’ve got all night, love.”
Tara has to remember to make you buy her a morning after pill.

THE FALL OF NINETEEN-NINETY SIX MARKED A PIVOTAL MOMENT IN YOUR LIFE. Ever since you came into the world, you never really could grasp the concept of love.
You wrapped your head around the myths and tales your mother would read to you every night. You thought that every princess would have her own shining knight in armor. So, after thirteen years of living, where was yours?
Your knight in shining armor, or knights in shining armor, existed within the pages of the comic books you read. You often wondered if they would magically pop out of your books and transport you into their world. Similarly, you wondered whether any of the characters from your adored TV shows would step out and bring you into their lives.
So, it wasn't a surprise when your jaw dropped to the ground as you saw the most beautiful man in your life (well, technically, boy). If the epitome of beauty was a fourteen-year-old boy, it would be Beomgyu.
But it wasn’t just his face that made your thirteen-year-old self swoon over him, it was also the way he acted. You loved the way he conversed, his smooth way of talking at a young age and the way he smiled at you every time he made jokes with his friends. You loved how his eyes lightened every time he’d pull a silly prank.
But the problem was, he never talked to you. You admired him from afar. You never actually had the guts to talk to him, as if. You were content with watching his funny actions from a distance.
There were some moments when you pushed aside your nervousness and talked to him. You remember having butterflies in your stomach the moment you first talked to him. There were times when you both were paired up as project partners for a biology assessment and at that moment, you swore you could’ve worshiped the floor that your biology teacher walked on due to her giving you an opportunity like this.
You knew this was an opportunity to make your move. And you did. You brought him small snacks with little notes on them. Gave him gifts regularly. Maybe even took lessons from your best friend on how to subtly flirt with him. You really thought you had him. Because whenever you used to play out these little acts, you saw the subtle smile on his face. You were so close. It’s like the universe laid it out for you. Gosh, how lucky you were!
Luck. The luck that you thought you had. If luck was a person, you would’ve tackled it to the ground already. Because the day you were about to confess to him was the day he announced his new girlfriend.
His first girlfriend. You doubt you called it ‘love’ since the only thing she cared about was that he was popular and pretty. That’s it! All that girl could get from Beomgyu was his looks and his reputation. You could’ve scoffed at the sight.
Beomgyu was so much more than that. He was loyal, kind, and trustworthy. And she went for his looks. Even though she had him, you felt as if she was missing out on so much. You were partly sad due to them getting together and also due to Beomgyu getting used to his looks.
So, you were practically prancing when you heard the news of their breakup a month later. Did you care that Beomgyu was absolutely heartbroken? Well, yes, but you felt relieved that Beomgyu was finally unleashed from that mean troll's wrath.
And as he got older, he grew more handsome. And God did you love it. When you entered high school he was a completely different person. He had gotten more flirty and way more pretty. He was way out of your league.
Out of the years you were in this crappy high school, you made absolutely no improvement in your and Beomgyu’s relationship. Beomgyu, who kept getting new flings every summer and tons of situationships seemed to discard your existence. One could only say ‘What the fuck?’
Your thoughts swirled, and you had a collection of emotions roaming around your head until your best friend jolted you back into reality with a gentle nudge on the shoulder.
“Are you even listening?” Seori’s voice cut through your thoughts, annoyed, since she had to explain what she was talking about in the first place.
“Sorry, what were you saying?” You blinked, focusing your attention on your best friend.
She sighs, “I was saying that I think Doyoung is going to ask me out.” Seori pouts “Why does he not get that I don’t like him that way, jeez.”
Her ramble about her current boy toy washed out in the background. You were once back in your thoughts until you saw him heading into the cafeteria. Beomgyu entered the cafeteria, his smile widening at something his best friend said.
Lee Heeseung, Beomgyu’s best friend. His ride or die. As long as you can remember, they were attached to the hip. They were basically the package deal. If Beomgyu was the life of the party, Heeseung would hold up his hair while he threw up in the host’s toilet. While Beomgyu was the exact depiction of a social butterfly, Heeseung remained aloof, keeping people at arm’s length. You could only wonder how he dealt with Beomgyu’s outbursting personality.
“Earth to Yn!” Seori snapped her fingers in front of your face which once again, brought you back to reality.
“Sorry.” You sheepishly smiled looking at your best friend's annoyed face. Your friend followed the gaze you had fixed before looking over to her. And her eyes followed the trail of your alleged ‘man’–– Beomgyu.
“Him again.”A sigh erupted from Soeri, having enough of your rambling over your four-year-old crush.
“I’m sorry, alright!” You pouted, your back hunching over the disappointing development between you two which was nowhere to be found. “He’s just so cute, God!”
Your sigh was followed by your best friend. Not long after, your best friend’s fed-up expression converted into a rather eager one.
“I got it!” She exclaimed, her hand hitting your back while she practically screamed. You winced in pain as a few fellow students gave you judgemental stares.
“All you have to do is be close with his best friend, Lee Heeseung.” She slowly said, almost like a mastermind coming up with a villainous plan–well, you would consider your best friend to be some sort of evil criminal.
But this, this opened new angles in your head. It felt like the universe–or more like your best friend–laid it out for you again. Your once unsolvable puzzle showed a new direction, and the missing piece was all in front of you.
Okay, maybe you felt bad that you were going to use Heeseung like that, even looking forward to it. But, you were really desperate. To the point where you would actually be eager to attend Sunday mass just to ask God for Beomgyu to like you back or even spare one glance at you. Well, what could you do?
Out of excitement, you pulled Seori in for a hug with a squeal while giving her a kiss on the cheek which she in return, yelped. “Seori, you’re a genius!”
“Yes, I know.” She laughed a bit, escaping your tight grip on her before wiping the spot you kissed her hastily with her hands.
“I mean, how hard could it be?”
You smiled and your gaze wet up to the boy you loved for most of your life, then slowly to the equally handsome boy.
Jackpot.

Been thinking about Puss in Boots: The Last Wish and what makes Death the Wolf such an effective villain, and like… character design and voice acting is certainly doing a lot there, don't get me wrong, but I think there's something else at play.
Death is the most terrifying character in Puss in Boots, because he's the only one playing the genre straight.
The premise of the Shrek films has always been that they're normal, modern people living in wacky fairytale land.
The evil king uses his magic mirror as a dating app. The fairy godmother uses business cards to contact her clients. Her workers consider unionising over their lack of dental plan.
Puss in Boots 1 kinda broke the mould in that— while there are plenty of modern elements to how the characters act and how their world works— it's more specifically intended to be characters from the world Zorro living in wacky fairytale land. But the point still stands.
The aim of the Shrek films and spin-offs is to subvert common fairytale tropes for comedic effect. What if the princess fell for the ogre? What if Prince Charming was an entitled dick? What if Goldilocks teamed up with the three bears and started a crime family?
But Death? Death, for the most part, isn't playing that game.
No character questions why he doesn't just kill Puss outright. There are no gags about him being inconvenienced by Jack Horner losing so many men. Nobody makes any self-aware fourth wall breaking jokes about why he bothers with the whole whistling thing.
We all know why he does the whistling thing. It's the same reason why Little Red Riding Hood has to go through the whole "what big eyes/ears/teeth you have, Grandma" rigamarole. The same reason why the wolf takes care to knock before blowing the little pigs' houses down.
The Wolf is scary because he's the only actual fairytale creature in this entire setting. He's not bound by rules of logic or common sense, or his own will, he's bound by the narrative.
And that's also why he backs down at the end.
The first time he and Puss fight, in the bar, Puss is arrogant. The second time, in the Cave, Puss is scared out of his wits. It's the third time, on the wishing star, that Puss learns his lesson. Of course the Wolf backs down after that! The rules say he has to.
But, on another level, there is also the issue of Puss realising that he wants more from his life than just to be a legend.
They say "legends never die", but the most famous part of any given legend tends to be the story of how the hero finally bites the dust.
And "he was such a great fighter that Death himself had to kill him off, personally!" is just the sort of ending that would fit the legend Puss has constructed around himself. In a sense, the Wolf is giving Puss exactly what he proclaims to want— the chance to go down in history.
Puss realising he doesn't want that anymore is the catalyst for sending the Wolf away. Through his own egotistical and reckless attitude, he turned himself into a story and thus summoned a narrative device. Only by choosing to value his life over the legend is he able to escape that trap.
The Wolf's defeat is both the natural ending of the story that he and Puss have been playing out since the film began, and a rejection of the natural ending to the story Puss has been telling about himself since he first became the hero of San Ricardo.

Tumblr media

Tumblr media
FRIDAY:
my hands tangled in his hair, the smell of his cologne and cigarettes filling my senses, everything just feels right.
it's funny how a week can change everything.
okay! i know this looks really wrong, but i can explain.. let's go back to where this all started, monday.
-1 WEEK PRIOR.-
MONDAY:
i sit in potions, bored as ever at snapes lesson, feeling eyes on me.
i look over seeing mattheo riddle staring, which isn't totally weird, considering we've been friend's since first year, just abnormal.
this time it's different though, like some weird tension in the air, i feel as if red smoke is filling my lungs and calling out mattheo's name.
snapping out of it, i clear my throat and focus my attention onto the horribly boring, lesson
the class ends sooner than later and i take my time to collect my stuff, not noticing mattheo waiting for me.
i head to the door and meet eyes with him
"waiting for me, riddle?" i question and his lips curl upwards
"i might be, walk with me will you?" he asks and i nod, following wherever he's going.
"i noticed you staring" i mumble
"yeah and i noticed you drooling" he says and i scoff
"you think too highly of yourself riddle" i professed
"mmh i'm not so sure about that, have you met your brother?" he adds on and i realize
my brother, shit.
this flirty banter shouldn't even be happening right now, considering if theo saw he would absolutely loose his shit.
"yeah thats theo, uh- anyways i gotta go, nice talking to you riddle!-" i say in a rush, walking the other direction.
TUESDAY:
i hear the door open and look up seeing pansy, i'm currently in the slytherin common room working on some extra homework.
"hey" she says, plopping down next to me
"hey pans whats up?" i ask, putting my books down.
"okay so, i know this is a long shot.. buuuttt, there's a party tomorrow and before you say no just please please think about going!" she says the last part really fast and i laugh
"who's throwing it?" i question and she squints her eyes
"we are..?" she mumbles and my eyes widen
"pansy what!?!" i yell
"okay i know it seems bad, but some first years accidentally heard me saying how slytherin parties are the best and one thing led to another and all of a sudden i had to prove it was true and now everyones expecting a party tomorrow night and i need your help!" she rambles and i sigh
"fine."
later that day, i cross paths with mattheo again.
who cares what my brother thinks or wants for me, it's my life.
"hey mattheo, sorry about yesterday" i say with a smile and he nods
"don't worry about it sweetheart" the name makes my cheeks flush.
we kinda just stand there looking into eachothers eyes for a moment, i'm not sure how it was, but i definitely looked full of lust.
he moves closer to my ear, whispering
"you're drooling again"
i roll my eyes throwing in a, "you wish"
WEDNESDAY:
the party is all set up, and it took HOURS.
me and pansy had to rush right when classes ended to get everything ready
we're supposed to start the party in an hour but before doing that, me and my friendgroup decided to have a little fun
me, pansy, theo, mattheo, draco, enzo and blaise decided to play a friendly game of truth or dare before letting anyone else in.
"y/n" enzo says and i let out a shakey breath, not noticable enough for anybody to hear though.
"yes enzo?" i respond, eyeing him in anticipation
"what'a a dirty secret you've been hiding lately?" he asks and i smirk
maybe i could fuck with these people in a way that wouldn't expose me, but in a way... would?
"well enzo, so glad you asked. recently there has been someone catching my eye... someone who's off limits, someone i'm not allowed to touch, you could call it forbidden, but i prefer the term secrecy." i say with a smug smile, avoiding any and all eye contact with mattheo
before anyone has time to say anything, the clock chimes and the doors to the common room open, the room flooding with people from all different houses.
the rest of the night was kinda a blur, except for the end of it.
i'm too drunk to even function right now, feeling vulnerable and anxious.
god this is why i don't go to parties.
"hey beautiful" a random gryffindor says and i make a face of disgust
"jus' leave me alone" i say in hopes of peace, turning around to walk away, but instead he grabs my wrist.
i turn back to look at him seeing the no-good look on his face
"oh no" i mumble
"are you gonna like.. do bad thing's to me" i ask
i'm never drinking again i feel like an idiot.
"you just consented to it so i might as well huh baby?" he says and i groan.
"i actually have a-" without thinking i grab someones hand, anyone to get me out of this situation would be great
"mattheo?" i say looking up, seeing its him who i grabbed
well, i was going to say boyfriend but mattheo works too.
the gryffindor boy's expression quickly changes from being in control to being scared shitless.
i'm too hazy to even feel right, not paying attention to the bickering mattheo is doing, the way he's absolutely screaming at this boy.
my hand tugs mattheos arm, causing him to look down at me
"mattheo please- just get me out of here" i say, leaning onto his arm.
fuck i'm not supposed to feel like this
THURSDAY:
the last thing i remember, is mattheo dragging me out of that party.
i think he was carrying me? or was it theo? i don't really remember.
i turn over, opening my eyes seeing mattheo next to me
what the fuck.
"g'morning princess" he says and i wince, feeling the light hit my face.
"what time is it?" i ask and see him look over to his bedside table
"like 10" he says and my eyes widen as much as they can.
"it's thursday mattheo we have class!' i yell, attempting to get up
his arm lightly pushes me down
"you need to rest, do you remember what happened last night?" he asks and i shake my head
"you were drugged and you passed out." he mumbles and my eyes widen
"who the fuck drugged me??" i exclaim
"i don't know" he says and i sigh, thinking about last night trying to remember anything i can.
i don't even realize how close me and mattheo are, the way he's shirtless and the way the sun hits his eyes, his morning voice, his soft sheets.
i look down seeing me in his shirt and i quirk an eyebrow which he notices
"no don't worry uh- pansy changed you not me" he reassures and i smile.
the rest of the day we end up just talking and laughing in his dorm, only leaving for food and water.
i gotta admit, it is awfully suspicious me leaving with him last night and waking up in his dorm, now us ditching and spending the whole day together.
but like i said before, i don't care what my brother thinks.
FRIDAY:
i'm currently getting lectured by snape for missing class and i can't help but let my mind wander to mattheo
lately, thats been all my mind is full of.
the tension has been getting thicker and my desire for him has been getting needier.
i need to tell him.
i rush out of snapes lecture as soon as he's finished, rushing to the common room.
what am i even doing, i'm being way too impulsive right now, it's fine i only live once, i have to do this. i tell myself
i reach the common room and run upstairs, knocking on mattheos dorm frantically
he opens the door and i smile, suddenly feeling all of my words leave my mind, going completely blank
then i remembered, i dont need words to tell him what i need.
without thinking, i grab his cheek and kiss him, it definitely caught him by surprise, but it did for me too.
without breaking the kiss, he leads me inside and closes the door, pinning me against it.
my hands tangled in his hair, the smell of his cologne and cigarettes filling my senses, everything just feels right.
an abrupt knock interrupts us, mattheos hand covering my mouth
"dude come on, snape is pissed you missed class and his lecture, we gotta go" a voice comes from the other side of the door.
fuck, it's my brother.
a/n: let me know if u guys want a part 2<3

Birthday Observations (Capricorn Placements)
*Just based on my observations, only take what resonates
Tumblr media
(Today’s my birthday -woo- so I thought I’d put together some observations I’ve noticed about Capricorn placements)
-Capricorn in the big 6 (especially moon) are forced to grow up so fast. Usually, because they’re born to a family with some sort of immaturity in the adults. Because of this these placements usually have to reparent themselves at some point, and this can be why Capricorn placements tend to have more fun in their lives after 25-30
-Sometimes I feel like we forget that in old astrology Aquarius and Capricorn have the same ruler, Saturn. I believe this is why Capricorns can find themselves innovating or even find themselves being stand out loners
-Speaking of Saturn, Capricorn heavy people tend to have to break generational curses or they’ll end up victim to the same circumstances (but they can fall into the same patterns easily)
Tumblr media
-Capricorns tend to have such a dry sense of humor because humor is how we cope with all the stress and madness. When things get more lighthearted (and when developed) Capricorns can be much less serious and heavy individuals
-Capricorn mercuries may struggle with expressing themselves in their youth, and even as they get older they may have a hard time opening up and sharing details about their thoughts.
-I think the constant theme with Capricorn placements is taking time and being very deliberate in their processes. Capricorn Asc tend to be a bit slow paced in how they act and react (not in a lacking way, just very deliberate). Capricorn suns grow into their identity and how to express it often after their early 20s, Capricorn moons need time an space to understand and process the emotions they’re feeling, Capricorn mercuries need time to respond and often carefully consider what they’ll say next, Capricorn venuses often don’t fully embrace their beauty until after their mid 20s and they tend to have better luck in love and relationships after this point as well, Capricorn marses tend to need time to achieve their goals, even when they move toward them with consistency, etc
Tumblr media
-Underdeveloped Capricorn placements can be super competitive and try to out pace you in everything that you do better than them. (Capricorn suns will try to undermine your achievements and attention, Capricorn venus will try to make you feel ugly and try to throw shade on your style/friendships/romantic options, etc)
-Capricorns don’t enjoy inefficient behavior, they may complain about a process that doesn’t seem to be logical in all steps and may streamline the process if they can.
-The biggest lesson I’m trying to learn as a Capricorn is when to rest. There’s always more work that can be done and it’s hard to mentally step away without feeling guilty or unproductive.
Tumblr media
-I always felt some kinda way about The Devil tarot card being for Capricorns— but I will say it is a sign that is commonly tempted to chase after means (like Capricorn venus dating someone for money). Capricorns love respect and security so they can sell out their soul for this if they’re not self aware.
-I just barely started reading Alice Sparkly Kat’s Post Colonial Astrology book, but there and on her blog she makes a great point that “Capricorns have never been corporate”. I have a theory that conformity can be a great detriment to Capricorn placements (even if just on a spiritual level). But Saturn repeated his father’s ruthless attitude around power and was cut down by his sons. Capricorns can find themselves succeeding down these conventional paths and then they end up suffering personally. Or, as was my experience, these conventional paths never quite open up to you and you face more and more challenges in this route and can never quite match their progress to their ambitions. Capricorns tend to benefit much more when they create their own path (I’ve found that this true for business as well as other areas of life).

what if the reader is out with her friends at night and she checks the time and is like rafes gonna be mad at me and her friends are like why are u so worried it’s not like he’s ur dad and the readers like they are so right but rafe finds her and drags her home and teaches her a lesson
⊹ ࣪ ˖
he never really liked your friends. the stuck up kind of kook bitches that think they’re better than everyone. they weren’t like you, he thought — you were sweet, different. it’s why he hated when they went out with you, always getting you into trouble, corrupting his sweet and blameless girl. it seemed harsh, but that’s why he enforced such a strict curfew. lord knows you needed it, you didn’t have any guiding figure of authority in your life, and where rafe see’s gaps, he always has to step up.
that’s why he knew your friends were to blame as soon as you yapped out the words “m’not coming back right now, you’re not my dad!” over the phone before hanging up on him like a coward. he pushed his tongue into his cheek, hearing the beep signifying the end of the call. okay, then.
he scoffs on the drive over there, thinking about the way you said it. you really thought he wouldn’t be able to hear the overexcited whispers of your friends in the background leading you astray, or the nervous tremor in your voice as you squeak out the insult, hitting the end call button as quickly as humanely possibly all so that you wouldn’t have to face his backlash. that wasn’t his angel, no. that was the work of the devil, and you were not to be seen hanging out with them any more, not if he had anything to do with it.
he approaches calmly, with authority— relishing in the way your face drops when you see him walk into the bar and toward your table. your friends notice your change in behaviour first, eyeing the way you jump off your bar stool and immediately pick up your bag, getting ready to go.
he has that malicious smirk when he steps up to the table, practically a wall as you try and push at his tummy, leading him away before he says anything. “evening ladies.” he ignores you, eyes travelling round the table.
“sup, rafe.” one of them boredly twirls her straw, knowing he’s literally a psycho.
“you know, i think it’s best you all stay the hell away from my girl from now on. yeah? ‘cos— ‘cos i think it’s in everyone’s best interest and…” he leans his hands on the table, glancing around. “you wouldn’t want any trouble for your friend now, right?” he reaches out and places a hand on your arm without looking at you. your friends shake their head and he nods in satisfaction.
“good to see you, girls. we’re leavin’.”
he doesn’t let you say goodbye, doesn’t let you say a thing — just leads you calmly out the bar with a forceful hand at the small of your back, walking you all the way to the car. your heart was thumping, wondering what kind of trouble you’d be in.
the drive was silent until he broke the quiet with a laugh and the shake of his head, something that could never be good in rafes book.
“you know i— i- i bust my ass working n’making money for you to have at your disposal. take you shoppin’, nice food, let you run around with your friends… its just really not fair when you talk to me like that baby. do you think i’m some kinda bitch who lets my girl talk to me however she wants? no, look at me— do you think i’m a bitch?”
you look at him with wide teary eyes and shake your head. “n—no, rafe, you’re not a—”
“‘you’re not my dad’” he quotes, laughing once more as he pulls up into the driveway, parking the car and wiping his hands down his face. “y’know maybe i should start actin’ like it seein’ as you wanna run off n’misbehave the way you do. yeah? yeah i think that’s what i’ll do.” he gets out the car and storms around to your side, yanking your door open. “i think you’re gonna have to start callin’ me dad from now on.” he presses your seatbelt button and yanks you out the car by the arm making you yelp, practically losing your footing as he drags you to the house.
there’s no one home, unsurprisingly— so he takes you straight to the living room, pushing you down on the couch. you fall onto it face first, scrambling to sit up but he pushes you back down to lay on your tummy— keeping a warning hand on your back for a moment, bunching your skirt up above your ass before removing it, aggressively working his belt off.
“rafe!” you cry, wiggling on the couch.
“ah— s’not what you’re calling me anymore now, is it?”
“dad.” you whine shamefully, grabbing a couch cushion to press your cheek into.
“better.” he approaches, kneeling down beside you on the couch for a moment, belt folded in his hands. “do you feel better after talkin’ to me like that, baby? lettin’ your friends boss you around?”
you sniffle, shaking your head and flinching each time he moves even slightly. “no! i’m sorry!”
“yeah… yeah.” he scratches his cheek. “a little late for sorry, huh? who’s allowed to boss you around baby, tell me.”
“you dad.”
“mhm… s’damn right.” he stands to his full height before bringing his belt down on your ass.

Astro Observations 8
Tumblr media
🌻Saturn in the 3H natives tend to have difficulties with phones or cars, whether that be always having a broken phone, or their car literally just not wanting to work for whatever reason
🌻Looking at what sign is located on your 12H could give you insight on to what life was like while you were in the womb. Ex: my 12H is in sag, before I was born my mother would pray constantly for her to have another chance at being a mother, she ended up having a kid with a man from a completely different state. (♐️ rules travel and religion).
🌻Have a big secret you need to get off your chest? Tell a Scorpio Mercury, they will never tell a single soul. I’m friends with a lot of Scorpio Merc’s and it’s amazing how well they can hold they’re water. (Hm, on second thought this might just be for scorp placements in general 🧐)
🌻7H placements how do you do it? Being so desirable to the point that people say they want to marry you without knowing anything about you at all? I just know y’all just smile 😀politely with so many confusing thoughts in y’all’s heads 😭
🌻I’ve noticed cap Venus will always gravitate to dating someone out of their age range.
🌻unlikely duo that actually goes super well with each other is Gemini and Scorpio. I think this has to do with how intelligent both of them are, this combo reminds me of detectives in a way.
🌻with NN going into Aries soon, Libra placements are gonna see a lot of stuff they buried in the distant past come back(like past life stuff 🕰️), probably gonna be a time of relearning some of those old old lessons or just seeing how well you developed since your last life!
🌻Moon in the 3H with a harmonious aspect with Uranus= extremely talented at vidya games 🎮
🌻If you have Gemini in the 6H you should try your hand at an online job, not as a profession but just as a job.
🌻Neptune aspecting your sun could indicate having trouble figuring out what you want to do in life.
🌻Uranus aspecting midheaven seems like you could be either really popular, really really weird or something of the two, but hey at least your smart😭😭
🌻Taurus Is definitely a foodie we know that, but surprisingly Capricorn is also kinda a glutton too lol, I have know idea why but I’ve noticed a lot of caps in my life really live for a good meal lots of savory things and also really really big on desserts as well. They also have sensitive noses, I mean scent is responsible for 80% of our taste so I guess that makes sense.
🌻our brains stop developing at age 25 and become a fully fledged functioning adult with no more growth which is really interesting because the profection year for age 25 is in Taurus which is the sign of stability.
🌻I really feel for Saturn dominants, they really just get the hardest trials out of everyone and expected to just be okay with that, Yk a lot of people say Saturn is gonna reward them and blah blah, but like I feel sometimes they’re trials are kind of unnecessary? Other planet ruled people (besides Scorpios) learn those exact same lessons but less harsher and the reward they get is quite possibly equivalent to Saturns soo idk… I feel like Saturn is just a bit much. (Let’s discuss this I’m curious to know what people have to say 🤓)
End of observations! I hope you all enjoy these as much as I did!

A/N: I struggled a lot w this one but I kinda got my flow back at the end! enjoy :)
prev. miles' pov snippet next
Tumblr media
By now, there were three things that you had never seen Miles Morales do:
Work with a partner, say ‘hello’ first, and eat lunch in the cafeteria.
The first thing was about to change in the next forty-five minutes or so.
The third, you’d soon figure out as you crept quietly up the staircase that led to the rooftop. You had planned to convince the boy to actually cooperate with you in Calculus, offering to do his English homework in exchange.
As soon as you reach the top of the stairwell, though, all thoughts of negotiation leave you. Your eyes land on Miles’ heaving figure, and you realize that there's a fourth thing you’d never seen him do: cry.
The only sound that could be heard was the whistling of wind and the small, whimpering sounds that it carried with it. He didn’t seem to have a bag or tray of food with him. It unnerved you to try to imagine what could make a boy that tall shrivel up like that.
You didn’t say anything (what could you say?), slowly stepping back down the stairwell.  While your back was turned, Miles peeked through his elbows and caught a glimpse of your retreating sneakers. He didn’t come downstairs until the bell rang.
You sat down at your not-by-the-window seat. Miles had arrived earlier than you as usual, but his head was down, seemingly asleep.
The case holding his glasses sat unopened. As usual.
“Today, you all will begin to brainstorm for your partnered projects,” Ms. Jones beamed, clapping her hands together.
Miles’ head suddenly perked up. He looked like he’d just seen a ghost, while you chewed on your pencil’s eraser absentmindedly. There was no way Jones was about to pair you up with a temporary partner–
“...and I’ve switched some of the pairings to account for those who are unable to join us this week.” The woman made direct eye contact with you as she finished the sentence, and your stomach dropped.
“Everyone will be partnered with the scholar sitting next to them.”
Small cheers and celebratory squeals erupted across the classroom. You look at Miles, who still has rings of red around his puffy eyes. He glances at you before turning away to fake-stare out of the window.
Jones continues, “Your AP Physics teacher and I have decided to combine our projects into one prompt, meaning that the instructions are two-fold. In Physics, as you already know, you will be writing a lab report based on the experiments y’all have been doing all of last week. In my class, you’ll also come up with three short calculus problems based on real-life scenarios--”
The woman paused at the wave of groans and sighs, and shook her head.
“--based on what you have learned, both here and in Physics. You will present at least one of them in class for your own mini-lessons. Any questions?”
The classroom was silent as she quickly scanned the room,
“Well, alright, then! I need someone to pass around these brainstorming sheets.”
Miles had a frown on his face for the entirety of Ms. Jones’ spiel, arms crossed like a toddler. You would’ve found it funny if you weren’t currently in the same boat.
Two sheets of paper landed on your desk, and you passed one to him.
“Any ideas, Morales?”
“Not in an ‘ideas’ mood at the moment,” the boy muttered, massaging his temples.
You rest your chin on the backs of your hands and sigh.
“Fair enough.”
Another awkward silence. You began to jot down a few topics for math problems: projectiles, the speed of a vehicle, but your pen eventually slowed to a stop out of boredom. Had your friend been here, she would’ve filled the silence with lively conversation about the news, P.E., or Ms. Jones’ outfit.
“Why don't you like working with people?” you ask, suddenly. Miles cut his eyes at you.
“ ‘Cuz of questions like that.”
“What if I’m just tryna make conversation?”
“About what?”
“Well, whatever’s on your mind,” you gesture towards the open spiral notebook next to him full of sketches. He hasn’t added anything new to it all class. “Must be something happening up there.”
The boy’s eyes flickered toward the page. You’d already seen it, so there was no point in shutting the notebook closed.
“I don’t see what’s so interesting about these.”
You tilted your head to see the drawings better. Some of the figures leaping across the page looked vaguely familiar; some from action movies, others from anime, judging by the hair.
“I like your art style. It’s so…” you stare up at the ceiling, lips jutting out as you try to find the right word. “...Knife-y.”
The corners of Miles’ lips quiver, and an unusual sound suddenly escapes him. His hand flies up to cover his mouth, and his shoulders shake as he briefly turns away.
“My fault,” he says, turning back around after clearing his throat. “You said it’s what?”
The sound of his stifled laughter makes you giggle despite being the subject of it.
“It’s sharp and pointy, okay? That’s what I meant.”
At this point, both of you are struggling to keep a straight face at the back of the classroom.
“Why didn’t you just say that?”
“Listen, I forget words a lot. Gimme a break!”
Miles wipes a tear away, “Yeah, I ain’t never letting you forget that one.”
“Okay, back to the drawings, though. Who’s that?” you pointed at a sketch of the caped figure with sharp eyes from before. A shadow fell over the boy’s expression.
“Nobody important. Just sumn I made up.”
You hum in acknowledgement, drumming your fingers on the desk.
“One more question, then I’ll leave you alone. Why don’t you eat downstairs with everyone else?”
“It’s too loud down there, so I eat in the counselor’s office,” he answered.
Miles narrowed his eyes. “Now, can I ask you a question?”
“Go ahead.”
“How’d you know I don’t eat downstairs?”
He knew the answer, of course. But he wanted to know if you’d lie.
You nibbled at your bottom lip, staring at the solid lines on your worksheet.
“I…may or may not have seen you. Upstairs.”
Miles nodded slowly, silently. As if he was considering something.
“You was looking for me?”
“Yeah, I didn’t mean to…interrupt,” you look up and meet the boy’s eyes. “Did you get to eat lunch, though?”
He gave you a weird look. “What’s that gotta do with you stalking me?”
Crossing your arms defensively, you shot back, “You were so damn worried about whether I ate, why can’t I return the favor?”
Miles’ eyes widened for a moment, before darting in the other direction. “I think you should go back to doing your work.”
Just as he finished his sentence, the school bell rang. Miles was already standing with his bag slung over his shoulder.
As you gather your stuff, you call out, “Wait! I need your email for this project, I forgot.”
“Right,” Miles ripped out a sheet of paper from his notebook, scribbling his email address on it before handing it to you. “I’ll share my slides with you when I’m done.”
Your brows furrowed in confusion.
“I thought you weren’t in an ‘ideas’ mood, today.”
The boy shrugged as he pulled the back door open with his free arm, stopping it with his foot. “I am now. We’re getting graded as a group.”
-
The two of you had decided to reconvene just outside the basketball court after the final bell of the day.
“You already decided to take over the slides, lemme at least present!”
“Nope. Not riskin’ it.”
You groaned, pacing around as Miles leaned on the chain link fence.
“I’m literally good at public speaking, what ‘risk’?”
“You,” Miles pointed, “are an entire letter grade below me in English. Why should I believe you?”
“I am on the mock trial team, bro.”
He raised a challenging eyebrow. “You any good at it, though?”
You scoffed, “Of course I am!”
“Prove it. Gimme a closing speech right now.”
A deep sigh left you, but you did happen to have a speech on-hand that you had won with last season. You moved to stand in front of Miles as if he were a jury member, and cleared your throat.
“Ladies and gentlemen of the jury,” you began, “in today’s trial, we have clearly laid out the facts of this case…”
By the time your speech was over, the court was empty and quiet. Miles nodded slowly, a smile spreading across his features. Your voice took on a sharp precision and clarity that he hadn’t gotten to hear in the couple days he’d known you.
“Shit, maybe that nigga is innocent,” he said beneath a laugh. “Alright.”
“You gonna let me present?” you perked up.
“Yeah, you convinced me. My bad,” the boy stuck out his hand.
You rolled your eyes, and shook it.
“Yeah, your bad.”
Suddenly, your hand flew over your mouth when you recalled something.
“Oh, shit, I gotta stay after and do my readings.”
“Stay…after?” Miles repeated. “There’s no office hours today.”
“I know,” you shrugged, “I just sorta hang out around here to do my homework till it gets too dark.”
The boy’s face was a picture of disbelief.
“Why don’t you just do it at home?”
“Too noisy. Can’t focus.”
Miles stared at the ground, looking deep in thought. He got off of the fence.
“Look, do you wanna study at mine? If your parents let you, I mean.”
“Don’t need to ask ‘em. Long as I’m home before midnight,” you replied.
Miles shook his head, but said nothing as he took out his phone and began to dial a number.
“Hello? Hi, mami. ¿Puedo estudiar con un compañero de clase?”
He paused for a second to wait for a reply.
“Sí, es la misma chica. M-hm. Love you, bye.”
“She said yes?”
Miles nodded, then gestured to get you to follow him. “Yup, ‘till ten.”
You hummed thoughtfully as the two of you began walking.
“I like your Spanish. It sounds better than Ms. Sanchez’s,” you remarked.
“ ‘My Spanish’?” Miles looked back at you briefly, eyes narrowed. “What does that even mean?”
“It just sounds nice.”
“You’re weird. Walk faster.”
-
“Can you even see without those?”
You pointed towards the brown case sitting on the small desk by Miles’ laptop as he typed away.
“I’ve seen enough,” he replied, keeping his eyes glued to the screen. The soft ‘thud’ of the case shutting reverberated across the quiet bedroom.
“I wouldn’t wear ‘em, if I was you. Fuck up your eyesight.”
“Too late,” you chirped. The case contained a pair of green, rectangular prescription glasses. The lenses were still clean from their utter lack of use. Of course, you couldn’t see a thing through them.
“Damn, you blind as fuck!”
This earned a snort from Miles. He paused his rapid typing and turned around to see you sprawled out on his bed, staring up at the ceiling through his glasses.
“Bro, do your homework,” he laughed. “Did you even start?”
You looked over at the small paperback novel laying by your head.
“Maybe,” you said with a grunt, propping yourself up on your elbows. “How many chapters we got?”
“Just two.”
“Just?”
“I finished the book yesterday, you’ll be a’ight,” Miles said as he turned back to his laptop.
“Of course yo’ ass already finished the damn–Who’s point of view is this?” you asked, squinting at the paragraph you had left off on.
“Minerva’s, we in part two now.”
“Thanks.”
You sat in a comfortable silence for the next few hours, and you had read the assigned chapters before you knew it. The time on your phone read ‘9:01pm’ when you checked it. You heard Miles shut his laptop.
“A’ight, you gotta get up outta here. My ma said she gonna drop you off before work, that okay?”
“So soon?” you joked, sitting upright.
“Yeah, you need to dip. What if I had a girl over and she saw yo ass lying on my bed?”
“Alright, Mr. Bitches, I’m gone,” you hopped to your feet. “Lemme get my shoes first.”
Miles rose from his swivel chair and stretched.
“Damn right, I am.”
“Whatever you say, Morales.”
-
I don’t think I’ve ever written this many elipses and italics in my life. Anyways, I hope y’all enjoyed this longer-than-usual chapter. I’ll be uploading a bonus snippet that I cut out of this chapter this coming week, so look out for that ;)
thanks for reading!

It had been days since the last time you talked to Lo’ak, ignoring him everywhere you went.
At first, he avoided you too, trying to gather his thoughts and think of a way to apologize to you. He tried a couple of things that worked back when you both were children. He made you a new armband that matched his, but he didn’t see you wearing it the next day. He then made you a small trinket to add to your ever growing collection of random shit you found, but it was right where he left it the next day. He then tried to talk to you but all he received in return was your silence and Ao’nung’s small growls in warning for him to step away. Lo’ak felt like he was going to circles. He felt utterly hopeless.
It wasn’t long until both of your parents and remaining siblings realized your avoidance towards each other. Neteyam had failed to tell Jake and Neytiri about what happened that fateful night, in turn disregarding telling Kiri and Tuk. He wanted Lo’ak to tell them for himself or at least have you confront them about it and receive comfort from them. But he knew the both of you were too stubborn to ask help from your parents, so one night he asks no one in particular if they knew why you were, yet again, staying over in Tsireya and Ao’nung’s marui pod.
His question made Lo’ak freeze and nearly choke on the food that was halfway down his throat, harshly swallowing in discomfort.
Neytiri was deeply disturbed by your absence. She missed you dearly. She asked you many times as to why you were never around and you never gave her the truth, wanting Lo’ak to do it on his own. You’d always give her an answer of Tsireya is offering me extra breathing lessons, it’s just easier if I stay over for dinner tonight or Tsireya and I wanted a sleep over. Neytiri always frowned at your answers, knowing that you weren’t telling her the truth. But she never pried. She knew that you would tell her the true reason someday so she let you stay with Tsireya as long as you needed.
Jake didn’t realize your distance until nearly a week after the fight. He had been too caught up in his training with Tonowari and making sure that Quaritch was nowhere near Awa’atlu to comprehend your absence from the family for one too many nights. But once he did, he felt uneasy. He knew you like the back of his hand. He had to. You’re his first born daughter, it was expected of him to. He was always the first person you’d run to whenever you had any kind of problem, confiding in him for a solution or aid. It warmed his heart that he was the first person you came to in time of need, made him feel wanted and loved. So when he saw you barely glance at Lo’ak or even say goodbye to them before heading off to wherever you had in mind, he felt unease settle itself on to his chest. He knew something was wrong and wanted to know what it was, but didn’t want to pry it out of you. It wouldn’t work. He felt helpless and wanted to figure out whatever was wrong so you’d stop distancing yourself from the family. He just wanted his little girl back.
The night Neteyam had asked that question, made Neytiri and Jake pop up in interest and repeat the question to their circle of children.
Lo’ak wanted to tear his older brothers head off right then and there. He didn’t need his parents meddling in both of your business. This was something between him and you, not your parents.
Kiri and Tuk had also realized your absence but didn’t give it too much thought. You always hung out with them at your guys spot and interacted with them. Yeah they found it odd that you rarely slept in the family pod and if you did, you were the first person awake and out of the house. So Neteyam’s question piqued their interest.
It took a lot of prying on Neteyam’s part to finally get the truth out of Lo’ak, but once he did, shit hit the fan.
“Kehe!” Neytiri gasped out, truly surprised at her sons words, “You did not!”.
She thought she raised both of her sons to respect all women, especially the ones in their lives. She couldn’t believe that her own son called his own twin a slut. And for what? Seeing the Olo’eyktan’s son and not telling a single soul about it? Neytiri was flabbergasted at the news.
“Boy,” Jake growled, beyond pissed at his sons previous actions and lack of communication about what occurred. He didn’t even need to ask Lo’ak about whether what he said was true or not, it was written on his face that he was guilty.
He found himself disappointed in his son, perhaps even more so than he usually was whenever he heard or caught Lo’ak doing something he wasn’t supposed to do. Jake had made sure to instill how he and Neteyam should treat every woman they came into contact with, continuously reminding them to behave accordingly and treat them with respect no matter what. So to hear that his son had called you, his sister, a slut for seeing a boy, made his blood boil. I’d ought to show that boy how humans would treat him, he thought in response.
“I know,” Lo’ak croaked out, on the verge of tears. His guilt was eating at him everyday, practically being the only emotion he felt for nearly the past two weeks. “I know what I said was completely out of line. I was angry and that isn’t an excuse for what I said. I am desperately trying to make it up to (Y/N), but nothing’s working. I’m going in circles trying to,” he finished, tears running down his cheeks.
Lo’ak knows that he shouldn’t be crying. That he doesn’t deserve to. That he doesn’t deserve anyone's pity for what he did. But the guilt ate away at him and he couldn’t help but cry. He just wanted you to forgive him and be his twin again, his other half. He felt incomplete without you by his side. It physically hurt to have you avoid him and not have you next to him.
Tuk had wiggled her way into Lo’ak’s lap in order to comfort him, wrapping her tiny arms around his neck as he cried into her shoulder.
Every Sully member could see just how much Lo’ak regretted saying what he did. They felt bad that he was feeling the way he did but they also knew that he deserved your avoidance and distance. It was the only way that would allow Lo’ak to see the impact of his words.
———
You were laying on the soft, warm sand below you when a shadow covered the suns soft rays, blocking them and covering you in its coolness.
You quickly opened your eyes to see who it was and to shoo them away, not in the mood. But your mouth quickly shut itself once you saw your Sempul hover over your relaxed figure, a small smile on his face.
“Sun bathing?” He asked, sitting next to you as you sat yourself up.
You only shrugged in response, wrapping your arms around your legs and pulling them up to your chest.
You felt bad for essentially ignoring all of your family members, but it was the only way to get it through Lo’ak’s thick skull the kind of impact his words had on you.
Your Father hums and looks out to the water line, silence overtaking the moment for a few beats. Until he finally speaks.
“Lo’ak told me,” he starts, “About what happened that night. Don’t worry. I gave him a stern talking to,” he continued, giving you a small smirk at his words.
Jake’s stern talking to’s almost always involved him dragging one of his children somewhere, yelling at them for Eywa knows what they did, and giving them some sort of punishment that will go on for however long Jake deems necessary. You found yourself wondering what punishment your brother got for his actions.
“I figured,” you chuckled, still looking out towards the water line in front of you.
“I’m sorry, babygirl. I know that it shouldn’t be me apologizing, but,” Jake says, tip of his tail swishing back and forth a bit before resting by your siding, curling itself around you gently for comfort, “Your brother is a complete skxawng. And I’m sorry for…not instilling it in Lo’ak’s brain enough to not call anyone, you that.”.
Your head whips towards your Fathers direction at his words.
“There’s nothing for you to apologize for, sempu,” you replied, eyebrows furrowed together, “Lo’ak is a skxawng and said something he shouldn’t have. He knew what he was doing and none of that reflects your teachings.”.
Jake could almost scoff at how wise you sounded. Since when did you become so wise?
Your Father only hummed in response. He wanted the best for his little girls, for you. And to hear that his own son had insulted his daughter and took his words to heart made him feel as if he wasn't adequate enough as a Father. He spent so many years craving for a family of his own before he was sent to Pandora, knowing that it wasn’t possible in his human condition. And once he finally got it, he felt over the moon. He wanted his children to love and respect each other, something that was a struggle for him and Tommy growing up. So being in this current predicament and having you and Lo’ak avoiding each other like the plague, made him feel as if he wasn’t successful in emphasizing how important family was to his children.
“I think you should hear him out,” Jake whispers to you, turning his head to face you, smiling gently down at you, “You don’t have to now. But, soon. Whenever you feel like it,” he reassured.
Your lips pierced together into a thin line, head nodding at his words.
You know that you should give Lo’ak some benefit of the doubt and at least listen to what he has to say, but it’s hard. The last thing your brother said to you were words that caused severe distress to your psyche. To be honest, you were terrified to see what he had to say. To see if he truly meant it or not.
“I’ll try,” you replied.
Your Father continued to look down at you as he smiled, bringing you into his side as he placed a soft kiss on the crown of your head. You laid your head on his shoulder in response.
“So, Ao’nung, huh?” Jake snorts out, teasing you.
“Dad!” You groaned out, covering your face with your hands as you lightly shoved him away, earning a loud cackle from your Father.
———
You were with Ao’nung when Lo’ak approached you for the first time in nearly two weeks.
Ao’nung had taken you out on a date around the island, as he usually did just to show how much he adored you. It almost always consisted of Ao’nung taking you to one of the many jewelry stands the Metkayina jewelers had out, telling you to pick whichever necklace, bracelet, or armband your heart desired and gently putting it on you once you budged, walking with you hand in hand around the island, twirling you around as you two danced to his light humming and singing, and finally going for a swim to wrap up your time together. Even though the dates were repetitive and always the same, they never failed to make you smile from ear to ear and warm your heart. It was something that you and Ao’nung did together to enjoy each other’s company. It was nice.
The both of you were spinning and dancing around in the warm sand as your boyfriend softly sang a song his Sa’nok used to sing to him when he had trouble sleeping, the melody being gentle and delicate, a perfect song just to waltz or sway to.
Ao’nung pulled you into his chest, slightly leaning down to grasp your hands against his lean chest, dipping his head down so you were face to face. He continued to sing the song as he smiled, rough hands slowly moving from your hands on his chest to your shoulders down towards your back before resting against your hips, pulling you in even closer.
You giggled at the ticklish sensation Ao’nung’s hands left on your skin as they just barely grazed it, moving your arms to wrap them around the back of his neck, fingers making their way into his curly hair. Your fingers gently run through the loose ends of his bun before messaging the scalp underneath his usual hairstyle, elevating some of the pressure from the tightness of it.
The Metkayina boy shivered at your soft and slow touch, nuzzling his forehead against yours as the two of you swayed in the gentle breeze.
“You look so pretty, my paysyul,” Ao’nung whispered out, blue eyes deeply gazing into your amber ones. He loved calling you new pet names, enjoying the soft blush that spread itself across your cheeks and neck once you processed what he called you. You loved the nicknames he gave you as well, making your stomach churn in excitement and never failed to make you smile in adoration. He truly did love you and he expresses that in many different ways, pet names being at the top of the list.
A light purple hue painted itself across your cheeks and down your neck in response to your lovers nickname. “And you look so sayrìp, Ma’Nung,” you whispered back, smiling up at the boy.
The teen boy purred out at your response, softly rubbing his face into the side of your head, kissing the arch of your eyebrow.
Ao’nung halted his singing and humming for a moment, basking in the silence and blissful peace that settled itself into the moment. Everything in his life was so quiet and peaceful the minute you arrived on Awa’atlu. He didn’t know he could feel such peace with a singular person and he was glad that he felt it with you.
But, unfortunately, much like the event that occurred days prior, Lo’ak had to ruin it with the loud clearing of his throat.
A cold chill ran up and down your spine at the sound, stopping all movement you and Ao’nung were doing. A small growl emitted itself from the Metkayina’s throat, grip on your hips getting tighter as he pulled you closer into his embrace. It was a clear warning to Lo’ak to stay away from you and leave the two of you alone.
“Can I talk to you, (Y/N)?” Your brother asked, standing a good couple of feet away from the both of you.
Lo’ak had worked up a lot of nerve to approach your figures once he caught sight of the two of you dancing. He didn’t want to ruin the moment the both of you were sharing but he knew that if he didn’t go to you and try to talk to you now, he never would. So, he gathered up all the courage he could muster and made his way to you, hyping himself up on the way.
“Leave, Lo’ak,” Ao’nung hissed out, angling you away from your twin, “She doesn’t want to speak with you.”.
“I wasn’t speaking to you, fish lips,” Lo’ak argued, growling out. Your boyfriend shouldn’t be speaking for you when he wasn’t the one who decided things for you.
Another growl left Ao’nung’s lips as he glared at the Omatikaya boy, anger creeping up his throat. Your brother shouldn’t be speaking to you if you didn’t want him to, especially after what he said to you.
“Ao’nung,” you mumbled out, hands now on his chest, pushing him back slightly.
Much like your brother, you knew that if you didn’t talk to him at this moment, you most likely never will. You needed to nip this thing in the butt sooner than later.
You nodded at your boyfriend, telling him to stand down and give you and your brother some space, that it was okay to leave you alone with him.
Ao’nung only huffed in response, eyes narrowing at Lo’ak behind you. Before he parted ways with you, he captured your lips into a kiss, running the tip of his tongue across your bottom lip before pulling back, not giving you time to respond to his light teasing.
“Our spot after? Twenty after eclipse?” He softly asked, thumb running over your cheekbone as he grasped your face in his hands. He wasn’t very happy that your brother interrupted your alone time and didn’t want to leave you alone with the one that deeply hurt you, but he trusted your opinion and respected your wishes, no questions asked.
You hummed as a response to Ao’nung’s request. There was no way that you weren’t going to tell your boyfriend how this conversation was going to go. Albeit the tension only being between you and your brother, Ao’nung was very much involved as you were.
Once Ao’nung became only a speck in your eyesight, you finally turned around to face your brother.
“Yes?” You asked, arms folding over your chest in an attempt to protect and hold yourself together. You had no idea where this conversation was going to go and that made you anxious.
Lo’ak took a deep breath in before he breathed it out, quickly gathering and preparing himself before he opened his mouth to speak.
“I know apologizing, no matter how many times I do it, isn’t going to change what I said and the way it affected you. But, I am deeply sorry about what I said to you, about you. There is no excuse. I have no excuse,” he started, tears stinging his waterline, “I was so angry at that moment that common sense was thrown out of the window. I don’t even know why I called you that. I was just so angry that you were with Ao’nung, someone who made it quite clear that we were freaks and were not welcomed here. I know that he had been different after leaving me at the reef, which I could assume is around the time you two got together.”.
You nodded at his guess, confirming.
“But I still didn’t trust him. I thought he somehow managed to manipulate you into falling for him. That he was forcing you. It was the first thought that popped into my head when I saw you two that night. I couldn’t comprehend that someone like you, my sweet and caring sister, could fall for someone like Ao’nung, a mean bully who took pleasure in causing pain to others. Confusion and anger clouded my vision. I just…” he paused, a couple of tears had already dropped down his face, “I know that I am shitty at apologies and can never accurately get out my thoughts, but I am sorry for causing you so much pain from my words. I am such a shit brother and you shouldn’t accept my apology. This past week has been awful. I felt incomplete without you. You felt miles away when in reality, you were only feet away. There was this…emptiness inside of me whenever you weren’t by my side. Everything felt wrong without you there to experience it with me.”.
“I desperately missed you. So much. It physically hurt me to not have you by my side. It made me realize that my words and actions do have consequences and that I wasn’t going to escape this situation scott free. Dad gave me the worst scolding that I’ve ever gotten. He told me that I was really fucking stupid and ignorant with my words. That he and Mom raised me better,” a chuckle escaped from your lips at that sentence, only imagining the type of scolds and hisses Lo’ak received from both of your parents.
“Yeah, you were really stupid to say that,” you replied, arms still crossed against your chest but a small smirk on your lips this time. It was nice to hear from him that he was punished by your Father, solidifying what he had told you earlier. But you still felt somewhat bad for him, knowing how angry and intense your Father can get when dishing out punishments.
Lo’ak chuckled at your acknowledgment, wiping away a couple of tears that continued to run down his face. He wanted for days to hear your voice and for you to acknowledge him. He felt relieved that you were talking to him and actually were listening to what he had to say, even if he didn’t deserve to be heard.
“I’m so sorry. You are not what I said you were. You are not slut. There is no excuse for what I did and I know that I can’t take it back or make it up to you in any way that will undo the damage I did. But I will spend the rest of my life making it up to you. I will do anything,” he finished, eyes never leaving yours.
The smirk fell off your face after he was done and silence overcame the two of you for a couple of beats.
“What you said really hurt me, Lo’ak,” you started, arms uncrossing from your chest, “It really fucked me up for a while. The intensity of your words made me truly believe your words. I know now that you didn’t mean them but in the moment, it felt like you did. I avoided you to teach you a lesson. To teach you that what you said was not okay. I am sorry for making you feel that kind of pain from my absence. I felt the same too. There were too many times where I wanted to just give up and go and just sit by you to ease it, but I knew that would defeat the purpose of what I was trying to get through your insanely thick skull.”.
The both of you laughed at your childish insult, more tears running down the both of your cheeks.
“But,” you continued, “I forgave you the minute it happened, Lo. I forgive you. I just needed to teach you a lesson and make sure it actually stuck and made an impact,” you finished, hands grasping your brothers.
Lo’ak smiled down at you from his height, lips quivering as he did so. To hear that you forgave him immediately after it happened was relieving but also made him regret his words even more. You were so kind and forgiving to him when he felt like he didn’t even deserve it.
“I love you, sister,” he whispers, bringing you into his warm embrace, one hand going behind your head to pull it into his chest while the other one went around your waist.
“I love you too, brother,” you replied back, accepting his hug and wrapping your arms around his back.
The two of you stayed like that for a couple minutes, hugging as the waves softly lapped against the shore.
It felt good to have your brother back and to finally hug him again after all this time, the emptiness the both of you felt from each other’s absences now replaced with warmth and comfort.
You couldn’t wait to meet up with Ao’nung later and tell him all about your conversation.

The last few months have been hectic. It seemed that everything and anything bad that could happen did. It started when you discovered your boyfriend of four years had been sleeping with your best friend. The man who told you he loved you every chance he got and seemed that he couldn't spend a moment away from you was found laying in your bed with the woman you trusted everything with. Your day at work was already terrible only to be greeted with the moans of your best friend and lover ringing through the apartment. The apartment that you shared with your now ex-boyfriend. They didn't even feel remorse when they got caught either. It lead to you fucking up your nails and hands before kicking them both out.
You didn't have time to wallow in heartache because the next day you had to get up early to head to your nightmare of a job. Day in and day out you spent attending your job in a haze. The days blending together. It went on like this for a couple of months, nothing but going from home to work and repeating it all over again the next day. It was like that, until it wasn’t.
Your boss's never ending attitude and rudeness greeted you before you even made it through the doors. He seemed to pick you for his target of abuse for the day and was on your ass. The whole day he had been nitpicking at you over every fine detail. Whenever you moved, he had something to comment on. Your head was hurting and if you heard one more insult the police would need to be called. His endless words pushed you too far resulting in you snapping at him and giving him a long awaited cursing out. It resulted in you being fired and him having a drink thrown in his face.
After leaving the building and making it back to your empty apartment, a note is left on your door. The rent is being raised. The bills were barely getting paid with both you and your ex-boyfriend paying them, but now you would be homeless especially since you were jobless now. A heavy sigh left your lips as you opened the door and kicked off your shoes. The shuffling of your feet filled the silence in the air as you entered your bedroom. You plop onto your bed with a huff. Today's events flowing through your head. It's weighing on your shoulders how you're losing everything. Life is taking a toll on you, you just need someone to talk to. An idea pops in your head to call your favorite aunt. She was always understanding and great at advice and was the last family you have left after your parents passed a few years ago. She was the one to listen to you rant and cry when you caught your ex-boyfriend and ex-best friend together.
The phone dials and you wait for her to answer. It takes a minute and you expect her to pick up, but instead you are sent to voicemail. She usually never misses a chance to answer your call but it is late and she might be asleep at this hour. She lives in a different state so it is later where she is. You decide to let her rest and try her again in the morning. It was only you needing to release the struggles you have been feeling so if she is asleep there is no need to continuously call her phone. Another sigh escapes you and you decide to just turn in for the night. Sleep doesn’t come easily, but you eventually pass out due to exhaustion.
That sleep doesn’t last long however. Your ringtone pulls you awake from the restless dreamland you were in. You look at the clock and see it's too early for someone to be calling you. The ringing of your phone is blaring and making you squint from not being adjusted to being awake yet. Looking at the screen, you see the number is unfamiliar. With a groggy voice, you answer the unknown number expecting to be able to tell them they have the wrong number so they wouldn’t call again.
“Hello? I think-”
“Is this Y/n?” A voice speaks, stopping you from completing your sentence. It confuses you that they know your name considering the voice isn’t recognizable.
“That’s me.” Confusion is clear in your tone.
“Yes, hello. We have the phone of a patient here and you are the last contact that dialed. I am sorry to inform you, but the patient we have here is deceased.” A shaky gasps leaves you as you hope they aren’t talking about who you think they are. The last person you called was your aunt, no one else. After cutting ties with your boyfriend and best friend, no other calls were made on your phone. You ask the person on the phone to describe who they are speaking about. Your ears start to ring as they describe your beloved aunt in every detail. “--- Ma’am? Hello, ma’am? Are you there?” It didn’t register that their voice had faded into the background as your already shattered world crumbled into more pieces. All you knew was that your last source of peace was gone from this world.
Fast forward four months and here you are now. You moved into your aunt's house away from the state you lived in. She already had a will written and left everything to you in it. That woman was always prepared, even down to her unexpected death. The cause of death was linked to a health condition. She hadn't told you about it, but it caused her to crash her car while driving. They said they couldn't find her ID due to the excessive amount of debris.
The money you inherited helped you move here. It wasn't easy, but you adjusted to living in the lonely house. Quiet memories of the times you spent here with your aunt would walk the halls, but after the first month it got easier. Your neighbors were welcoming, and some even remembered you from your previous visits. There were a couple you had never seen before, but all were kind.
Just like the neighbor next door. He wasn’t living here the last time you visited, but you learned he ran a small bakery that was frequented by everyone. It was hard to believe he was a baker. His facial expressions and regular outfits were the total opposite of someone who ran such a warm, loving shop. When he spoke, it all made sense though. He was older than you and alway took his time when speaking to you. A man with much patience and attentiveness. You could call him anytime you needed help. Like when your water faucet broke, he had it fixed in an hour and even left you a basket of fresh biscuits.
To say you had lost everything, life had been better since you moved here. Even if it was under the circumstances of your aunt passing. The air was easier to breathe, your neighbors were absolute sweethearts, your job didn't work you to the bone and paid more. For once, in a long time, you didn't feel the weight of the world on your shoulders. And everyday, you get to go to the bakery and get a delicious snack before heading home.
"Hi, Nanami!" You joyfully greeted him as you do everyday, a normal part of your routine.
"Hello, Y/n." His deep voice and chiseled cheeks greeted you with a smile. "How was your day? Here for the usual?" Nanami Kento, a tall man with blonde hair. Unnaturally handsome and the best baker. His desserts weren't only sweet, but his visuals as well. Your heart fluttered each time you made eye contact with him.
"My day was good. Thank you for asking. How was yours?" Your hands fill with an assortment of pastries as you speak. Picking the ones you have been craving most for the day. Some sweet, some savory. "And yes, I can't skip getting my daily happiness." You place your items on the counter and grab a bottle of wine from the shelf.
Nanami continues the conversation with you as he starts ringing up your items. He neatly packs them in a bag as he goes. "I could alway teach you how to make a thing or two.” He kindly offers you.
The offer catches you off guard. Nanami was always gentle with you, but never had he openly invited you to do something with him. You were more cordial neighbors rather than close neighbors. A hello and small talks were often exchanged rather than in depth conversations. Sometimes only the nod of a head would be given. It was never anything involving the two of you spending time together.
A small smile forms on your lips, “You would do that? I would like that.”
"Great, let's meet here this weekend. I'll teach you how to make your favorite." He hands you your bag as you agree to your plans. You walk out the shop with excitement coursing through you. Although you and the handsome baker might not have had strong interactions before, he still found a way into your heart in these few months.
The trip back home is quick. His shop wouldn't take long to walk to from the neighborhood and you were in your car making the trip even shorter. You discard your shoes at the door and get comfortable. The television is on as you indulge in your sweets. You flip through the channels mindlessly until you get tired. Your eyes drift shut slowly pulling you into a satisfying sleep. The sleep makes you miss the news giving information that relates directly to the way your aunt passed.
You spend the rest of the week attending work. The week is busier than normal so you don't get to visit the bakery due to you working overtime. You're tired when you arrive home and usually head straight to sleep instead of going to visit the bakery. By the time the weekend comes, you had barely seen Nanami and were excited to be in his presence again. You pick a cute dress after spending time preparing. It wasn’t a date, but you still wanted to look cute in the presence of the man.
You decided to walk to the bakery since you didn’t have any other plans for the day. The short trip spent with you thinking about interacting with Nanami. The scent of pastries hit your nose before you even reach the shop. It was closer to closing time and the last few customers were leaving. You catch the door and enter. Nanami is cleaning off the counter when he looks up and sees you.
“You made it. I’m almost finished. Could you flip the sign to closed please.” His voice was calming and deep as he spoke. You do as he asks and walk up to the counter. He puts the cleaning supply away and leads you to the back where the kitchen is.
It didn't take long for him to get everything set up. He named all the ingredients to you and even gave you a cute chef's hat. His personality was shining through the longer he talked and it was cute to see. He was clearly passionate about baking and explained why certain ingredients were added before others.
"Do it like this. It's easier and better for the dough." He placed himself behind you. His breath hitting your ear, chest pressing to your back, and large hands clasping around yours to guide you. His body was warm. Too warm. It was taking over your mind as you felt his chest move as he helped press your hands to the dough.
Your heart starts beating faster the longer he stands behind you. A wet patch forming in your panties. He was so much bigger than you. It felt good being this close to a man again since you hadn't been near one after your breakup.
"Okay, now we can place it in the pan." His words break you from your thoughts. He grabs a pan and places the shaped dough in it. The tall man reaches for a knife and the size catches you off guard. It's wrapped in an interesting print protection. Nanami takes his time unraveling it.
"Why such a large knife?" You question curiously.
"I like this one. It feels better to use." He says casually and cuts a design into the dough. "Cutting it like this is how we get the design you always look at before you buy it." He states. You're surprised he noticed you did this. "This will take an hour to make."
Nanami places the large knife down and shows you the product of his skills. "Wow, you're really good. I would botch that." He gives a deep chuckle at your words as he wipes his hands off. He hands yours and does the same. Your eyes widen slightly.
"You know. You really have to stop looking at me like that." His voice dropped an octave and you make eye contact with him.
"W-what?"
"I see how you look at me. It's cute, really. Just makes me want to bend you over whenever you come in here." He eyes flicker to your lips as you take your bottom one between your teeth. You feel your face heating up at his close proximity again. The way he looms over you and runs his thumb over your knuckles.
"Please." A whimper leaves you and that's all it takes for him to grip your chin between and plant his lips on yours. His strong arm wraps around your waist before trailing his hand up your spine. It stops right at your zipper and starts to slowly drag it down. Kisses are trailed down your neck as he takes his time undressing you in the kitchen. He lifts you and places you on the counter, spreading your legs open for him to stand in between. His thumb rubs over your throbbing clit in circles. He eyes locks with your as your mouth falls open from his touch.
"I've barely touched you and you're dripping." You whine at his words and push your hips closer to his hand. He stops you with his other. "Take what I give you." He rubs up and down your slit, flicking your clit each time before he pushes two fingers inside of you. They make a come hither motion, rubbing your insides so well. Your eyes rolling back as you rock towards him as much as his strong grip allows you. His fingers slide in deeper and deeper rubbing at a spot that tickles your brain. Nanami watches you closely wanting to catch every gasp and moan from you.
"N-Nanami…mmmm…please. Feels so good." Your moans makes his pants tighten. His bulge grows the more your wetness coats his fingers. Your walls fluttering giving him the sign of you getting closer to your release. He leans in close to your ear again.
"You're only coming on my dick." He removes his fingers from your leaking hole and unzips his pants. His big. Length and girth. An airy laugh leaves him when he sees you eyeing his dick. He lifts his fingers that were just inside you to your lips.
"Open." You obey him immediately and take the digits in your mouth. Your tongue swirling around them tasting yourself. He pulls his digits out and strokes his dick with your spit lubing himself up before pressing his tip to your entrance. He didn't immediately enter you. He swipe his tip through your folds collecting your juices and circling your entrance. He did this a couple of times before you started whining for him again.
"Stop teasing me. Want you in me." It didn't take much more for you before he was thrusting into you. Filling you to the brim with every inch he had to offer. Your walls gripping onto him drawing a deep grunt out of the blonde haired man. He pulled your hips closer and started fucking into you.
Your nails caught his back scratching it as he hit deep inside of you. The stretch is much more than your ex ever gave you. He was hitting spots you didn't even know you had. Your moans were loud and long. Broken breaths accompanying them as you hid your face in his neck. Nanami didn't appreciate that.
"No, no. Let me hear you, pretty girl. Look at me when I'm fucking you." His hand gripped at your hair pulling your head back making you look at him. He wanted to hear everything. He wanted to know how good he was making you feel. The pretty girl who suddenly moved in next to him, the pretty girl who was always in his shop, the pretty girl who appreciated his pastries more than any of the neighbors.
"Nanami! Fuck! Nanami! Please! Please!" You didn't know what you were begging for. Your thoughts were only filled with him. How he was slipping in and out of you. The sounds your pussy made with each deep thrust. The sound of your bodies smacking together. He was undoubtedly the best dick you ever had and the drool sliding from the side of your lips was proof.
Nanami wipes a thumb across it, cleaning it up for you. "Such a messy thing. Fuck, you feel so good squeezing around me." Nanami balls tightened with each thrust. Your pussy so wet around him, milking him so well. The squelching sounds making him lose all control. His hips speeding up getting addicted to the warmth of your cunt. He leans in and takes your breasts in his hand. His tongue meeting your hard nipple, wetting it in his saliva. He feels you squeeze around him at that and keeps going. Seeing you in pleasure making his dick more sensitive in your walls.
You grip at his hair, threading your fingers through the strands. Your body shaking as you get closer to your intense orgasm. He's abusing your g-spot over and over. You can feel him in your stomach, your legs tingling from the pleasure. Nanami is relentless. His thumb meets your swollen clit again. Your voice is loud as you scream.
"Too much! Too much! I can't take it!" You're trying to move away from him. The constant licking and sucking on your nipples, the drag of his thumb on your clit, his dick pushing in and out your sensitive walls.
You can't even warn him before you're cumming. Your release coming in strong, making your eyes roll back. Your voice caught in your throat as your pussy pushes out your cum. You can feel your core tightening and untightening with each ragged breath you take. Your mind is blank as you can only feel pleasure. You tense up and then relax after some seconds.
It's then when you feel oversensitivity kicking in. Nanami hasn't stopped thrusting into you. You're pushing at his hips, not even able to speak. You're going to cum again. It's too soon. You can't take it.
"You can do it. You can give me another one. Just cum for me, pretty girl." Nanami was talking you through it. His voice trying to hold steady through his own moans and grunts. The fluttering of your walls bringing him closer to his own release. "Come on. Do it. Cum for me again."
You didn't think it was possible for this to happen. You've never cum this quickly again. Your pussy grips onto him as your release washes over you. His name leaving your lips like a chant. He fucks you through your second orgasm. Your body goes limp in his arms as you coat his dick in more of your cum.
Nanami works you through it, rubbing at your clit still helping you release all of your cum. He feels you relaxing again and pulls his dick out stroking it quickly. Your pussy enough to have him weak in the knees. With a grunt he is releasing on your cunt. The white substance spurting out covering you. His breathing heavy and head thrown back as he cums. "Fuccckkk!" His voice is raspy when he cums. It has your sensitive walls fluttering.
You both are spent. Chests heaving up and down from the intense orgasms you both just had. Nanami leans close to you again and leaves kisses on your lips. "You were so good." Just as he says this the timer on the oven dings. A smile returns to his lips. "Here. You like these." He hands you one of the candies you always eat from the shop. He really has remembered so much about you. Before he goes to the oven, he wets a towel and gently cleans you up. "I didn't expect to fuck you here tonight. But I'm not complaining." You giggle at his words, still tired and recovering from the intense fucking. Sit here and rest. I'll go take care of the bread."
Nanami leaves you his jacket to cover you up while he attends to the bread. You hear his footsteps walking away. They are echoing loudly. Too loudly. The sound almost giving you a headache. You're tired. Your body is lagging. You try speaking but the words don't come out. Something's wrong.
You go to stand up and stumble. You can't get your footing. It's not a post-sex struggle, this feels weird. Your vision is unfocused and you grip at the counter. You accidentally knock over a jar labeled flour. It shatters into pieces and you are about to attempt to apologize when you realize it wasn't flour spilled on the floor.
A collection of licenses are on the floor and among them a familiar face.
"Tsk, tsk. Now why did you have to go and do that?" You stumble to the floor. The license closer to your face now. The license of your aunt to be specific. You look at Nanami and see his expression harden. He brushes a strand of hair out of your face. "Why didn't you just sit like I told you?"
That's the last thing you hear. The drugged candy taking over your system before you could say anything else.

The last thing your mother said to you was that it wasn't your fault. And that it wasn't that of your father. But mostly that it was not yours.
She said she loved you before throwing herself off the highest tower of Harrenhal. You were a mere four years old.
That was many years ago and you can bearly remember her face. There was one portrait of her, but that burned down.
As soon as the news that your mother had passed reached your father, he brought you to the capital. It was said that the king pitied you. And he also saw you as a potential friend of princess Heleana.
Life in the capital wasn't that bad. The princess and you turned out to be fast friends quickly. Yes, she was a bit weird, but she was kind and, above all, she doesn't judge.
When you first arrived in the palace, your father introduced you to Princess Rheanyra, Ser Leanor Velaryon, and their two sons. You quickly noticed that you looked like each other. The same hair, the same nose, the same lips. All that of Harwin Strong. Except your eyes were different. They got them from your father, and yours mirrored your mother's.
You knew what that meant. Especially since Jacaerys was only born two moons before you.
At that exact moment, you knew what mother implied with her words. It wasn't your nor your father's fault that it didn't work out. It was an arranged marriage, and they did their duty. But along the way, your mother fell in love with him. She couldn't stand the thought of him being with another woman, and she knew he did not love her. So she took her life.
For the fact that she made your mother kill herself, you did not resent princess Rheanyra at all. For the two years you lived at King's Landing, she treated you like a daughter. She allowed you to join Jace and Luke's lessons with the Septa. You even sometimes joined them during their training. Your father always had this big grin when you kicked any of the prince's arses.
Your happy little life all came to an end when Joffrey was born. It was clear that the babe was not fathered by Ser Leanor.
Suddenly, you were told to pack your bags because you were leaving for Harrenhal. You cried while hugging Jace and Luke, not knowing when you would see them again.
The journey was long and your behind was sore at the end of the horse ride. Grandfather was angry at father and didn't speak for the whole ride. Father tried to cheer you up, knowing what it meant for you to go back to the place where your mother died.
He stayed silent when you tried to ask if it was true that Jace, Luke, and Joffrey were your half-brothers. But the look from Grandfather confirmed what you already knew.
Getting back situated in your old room, you noticed a new piece of decoration; a painting of your mother. It hung above the fireplace. Father said nothing but just stood beside you, laying a hand on your shoulder that meant a thousand words.
That night when you almost fell asleep, the smell of smoke hit your nose and orange lights seeped through the cracks under the door. You immediately sat up and jumped out of bed. You tried to open the door but it burned your hand, the knob scolding hot.
Soon, the flames destroyed your room and you watched how the last reminder of your mother got engulfed in the flames, the paint melting in the heat.
You do not remember how you escaped with your life. You passed out because of the smoke and woke up on a stretcher, your skin covered in soot and the smell of burning flesh in your nose. Your left arm had a huge burn that scarred over, turning the flesh hideous.
When you tried to ask for your father or grandfather, nobody answered, but they all had sullen looks on their face. You were the lone survivor of the fire.
The new Lord of Harrenhal, your uncle Larys, quickly became your ward. You moved back to court. But it turned out that Jace and Luke left for Dragonstone with their mother once they heard of the fire. You received a secret raven delivered by Ser Erryk from Rheanyra that she mourned the death of your father and hoped that you could visit her and her sons any time soon.
You didn't have to wait long to see your brothers again. Sadly, lady Leana Velaryon passed by dragon fire, almost the same night as the fire of Harrenhal.
Uncle Larys dragged you to Driftmark with him to pay your respects to the family of lady Leana, her husband prince Deamon, and their children.
You stood facing the ocean, blinking rapidly to fight back the tears. This isn't the right moment to mourn your father's death, your uncle told you.
Someone announced their presence beside you and you looked up. "My prince", you muttered softly whilst bowing.
Prince Aemond looked over the sea and down onto ser Leanor, who stood up to his knees in the water motionless. "Rather pathetic, isn't it?"
"What is, my prince?"
The white-haired boy scoffed. "Acting in such a shameless manner. I would get revenge on the one who wronged me." The prince glanced at his uncle, who leaned nonchalantly on a wall, his eyes focused on princess Rheanyra.
You hesitated for a moment to speak. "Not everything is resolved by violence, my prince."
Princes Aemond turned his gaze on you. His eyes fell on your gloved hands. "Are you sure about that?"
His implications were clear. Someone had started the fire. The slightest mention of the death of your father and grandfather being on purpose, made your eyes water. Lifting your skirt, you hurried away to safe face in front of almost everybody important in court.
Hiding in a random alcove, you heard steps getting closer and you feared what your uncle would have said. Instead, the Queen appeared.
"My child", she said softly, taking your tear-stained face in her hands. There was pity in her eyes, and sorrow. She knew what it was to lose a parent, so she could imagine how it must have felt to lose them both.
You quickly bowed, wiping your face. "You-your Grace. I must apologise for my behaviour, it will not happen again." Looking down, you tried to not cry more. But the tears just kept on coming.
Queen Alicent sighed deeply, pulling you to her chest and hugging you. It was the first hug you received since the passing of your father. That broke you, and you cried like a babe in the arms of the Queen. She stroked your hair and let you grieve for a moment.
After a while, you took a step back and did not dare to meet her eyes, afraid of what she would say and ashamed of your demeanour. Before you could apologise again, she silenced you with a motherly look. A look that said that it was okay.
Wiping away the tears on your face, she called for a maid and ordered her to take you back to your room and put you to bed. She maid compiled without a word and lead you to your chambers.
You slept the remainder of the day. Once night fell, you awoke from your slumber and decided to sneak to the kitchen to try to find something to eat. Except, you found your brothers, their cousins, and prince Aemond in a standoff, screaming at each other.
"What's going on?", you asked unsure, not knowing if you were overstepping the boundaries.
One of the twin girls turned towards you. "He stole my mother's dragon! She belonged to me!"
"Your mother is dead. It is in my right as a dragon to claim one. Maybe your cousins can help you find a pig to ride, it would suit you." Prince Aemond had a smug look on his face.
The girl screamed and charged at the prince. But he fended her off easily. Her sister now joined and hits him in the face. Aemond returned the favour and punched her so hard that she fell to the ground.
Now your brothers joined, getting in on the fight. A scream escaped your lips as you watched how all four hounded up upon the prince. You tried to intercept, pulling anyone you could manage off of Aemond, but you got thrown to the side yourself. Aemond managed the kick them off, blood is flowing and whines of pain are heard as the children fell to the ground, hitting their heads.
He held Luke by the throat and lifted up a rock. "You will die screaming in flames, just like your father did. Basterds." Aemond looked at Jace, venom in his words.
"My father is still alive!", cried Luke, his nose bleeding.
Aemond drops his arm to his side. "He doesn't know, does he? Lord Strong."
Jace unsheathed his blade and goes to attack Aemond, the girls crying out his name. The white-haired boy pushed Luke towards the eldest and Jace easily caught his brother and pushed him behind him.
Jace goes to swipe his blade towards Aemond, but the latter hit him with a rock and Jace fell to the ground. Jace throws sand into Aemond's face as he notices his younger brother grabbing his knife.
At the moment Aemond's distracted by the sand, Luke goes to swipe.
You jumped in between them, attempting to stop your brother from doing something incredibly stupid.
But while Luke cuts out Aemond's eye, he managed to also slice your face. The white-haired prince cried out in agony as his eye gushed with blood. You dropped to the ground and hold your face yourself, feeling the sticky blood cover your hands.
Your brothers screamed out and rushed towards you, both had tears on their faces and panic in their eyes.
Not a second later, royal guards arrived at the scene and take asses the situation. They took the children inside and called upon their parents.
While the King demanded to know what happened, a maester tended to your wound. "It might scar, lady Strong, but the wound is not too deep, so you might be lucky", the maester mumbled while king Viserys and queen Alicent argue about Aemond's eyes.
As the King moved away, queen Alicent grabbed his blade to take an eye for an eye.
A primal instinct inside you suddenly came and you jumped up from your chair, pushing past the maester and your uncle. You jumped in front of the Queen, just as she was about to strike. The blade wedged itself in your shoulder and you cried out in agony.
Screams are heard from around the room and people rushed towards you. Panic was in the eyes of the Queen as she realised what she had done.
As you slowly slid down into the arms of someone, your eyes felt tired.
"I'm sorry, your Grace. I'm sorry...", you mumbled out the same words as that afternoon, a single tear rolled down your cheek before you lost consciousness from the pain.

i'm sleepy right now but
here's part of the school au timeline bc i'm gonna make a silly video game inspired miniseries based on that Player: START drawing i just posted in order to talk abt some parts of the au that i find making comics and lore posts tedious for
Dazai transfers in, she runs into Chuuya, and she notices her crazy strong ability. the first arc is Dazai just making friends, particularly the Detective Club, which is the og ADA trio, and Chuuya, who she is needlessly annoying to.
Chuuya's infamous in their class because she's "mysterious" and "kinda scary." Dazai forces friendship onto her with but here's the abridged version of the pitch: "I can nullify your powers, meaning i'm a threat, so you should keep me close. Keep any potential enemies where you can see them." (This will end up being a decent lesson for Chuuya later)
Okay [here] is just a cutesy slow paced section of Dazai and Chuuya becoming friends. There's some secrets coming to surface though. I think in this section we get a paced out series of flashbacks describing Dazai's backstory, and some hints about Chuuya's "home" life with N, and the abuse, but nothing in Chuuya's perspective yet
Dazai's pre-Mori life in this AU is vaguely like Batman's origin story and that's all you need to know for now i think.
Considering that Dazai is Mori the Mafia Boss's ward and recently participated in a coup,, there might be SOME risk of her attending the Academy, right?
School gets raided by some belligerent gang looking to fuck around with the Port Mafia, *a miniature school-contained zombie infection bc of an ability user storyline ensues (don't ask why. i've been thinking about it a lot* Skk saves the day, but it puts the two of them on the Map. Namely, a couple of assassins take notice (cough Rimbaud cough Verlaine... cough they aren't working together btw we need multiple quests obvs)
Adam Frankenstein new substitute gym teacher gets sent to the Academy to keep an eye on and protect Chuuya in particular. Why's she still in this school if there's shifty evil government bureaucracy nonsense happening? plot reasons. but she's got a bodyguard now :)
Random but EXTREMELY important fact is that Chuuya is not as good a fighter as he is in canon. She's skilled with her ability, but without that she's more or less on par with Dazai. She's considerably worse at offense than everyone else but decent with defensive moves. Either way if Chuuya's ability isn't at her disposal, she oughtta back out of the battle... Will she though? nah.
Rimbaud crawls out of his burrow when he realizes that his target from 7 years ago has resurfaced in a more vulnerable position. Obviously he's gotta take a crack at capturing it, right?
ok sleepy again. i leave you on this cliffhanger. I'll reveal some "stats" in the art posts later. BYEEEEEEE
