Also, these turned out quite long (and I probably could've made them even longer, given how much I love this character), but I think/hope that you won't mind lol.

Also, not proofread, so sorry about any mistakes! Headcannons are below the cut.

First of all, he definitely calls you 'Peaches' or 'Peach' like, all the time. He will only call you by your name if he wants to show you that he's serious. Also he will occasionally use other nicknames, such as 'babe', 'honey', 'sweetheart'. But that's rare, 'Peaches' is still his favorite.

You are probably the only person he's willing to share his peach flavored chips with.

Also, he's kinda clingy and touch starved as hell. Can you really blame him though? This monkey was pretty much all alone for a few centuries.

So Wukong is almost always touching you in some kind of way when you are near him, even when you're somewhere public or not hugging or cuddling. Either hand holding, or he will curl his tail around your ankle or some more subtle things like that.

He will often groom your hair in search for bugs the way monkeys do if you sit next to each other. He knows you take good care of your hair and there's absolutely no way any bugs or insects could be in it. But it's an instinct, he can't help it. You don't mind however, he's so gentle when he does that that it's actually very relaxing.

He's touch starved to the point when if you have to get up while cuddling, he will whine quietly. But if you ask/tease him about it, Wukong will huff and deny it while claiming that you're just hearing things.

I have a headcannon that while he is very strong and all, his body isn't actually that muscular. In fact, he is a bit chubby. He's quite soft and squishy in a good way- I mean just look at him in the beach scene in season 4, he totally has a 'dad bod'- and you love it. Wukong's body is perfect for hugging.

I imagine his hugs being just the right amount of tight 👌 He's always warm and soft and actually smells really good- he smells of peaches and leaves.

Wukong loves hugging and being hugged, so you can hug him almost whenever you feel like it and he absolutely won't mind.

Call him Sunshine or Sunny or anything Sun related. Please do, he will literally melt.

Overall, Wukong's main love languages are: words of affirmation, quality time and touch.

We already know from the show that Wukong has no problem with words of affirmation, seeing how he constantly encourages MK and it is visible that he means every word. So this monkey will always and often tell you that he loves you and that you mean so much to him. You can count on him if you want some kind words to make you feel better. He may not be the best in terms of logical advice, but somehow you believe him every time he says it's going to be okay. Wukong also makes sure to tell you each day how good you look and say "I love you" at least once a day.

As for quality time, Sun really loves to spend time with you, it doesn't matter what activity. Although he prefers activities either at home or away from big crowds. He doesn't like to show himself in public spaces, the most he'll do is go with you to the cinema or maybe some not very well known restaurant or something. But he really loves to watch movies on his TV or laptop with you snuggled up to him on the couch. Wukong also loves taking you on walks around Flower Fruit Mountain or taking you for flights on his cloud. Honestly, as I said, to him it doesn't really matter what you do as long as he gets to spend time with you.

I already said some things about touch, but I can add that for some reason Wukong loves when you scratch him behind the ears, boop/gently pet his nose with your finger or pet his tail. These parts of him are quite sensitive, and he loves how gentle you are. He will literally turn into a puddle in your hands lol.

This monkey loves kissing you on the cheeks. Or poking you on them.

Generally when he's in the right mood he likes to teasingly poke you in various places on your body. And if you do it right back at him, it turns into either a poking or tickling battle, ending up with both of you laughing your butts off and snuggling with each other.

You sometimes watch your boyfriend train MK when you have the time. You roll your eyes often at Wukong's smugness but at the same time you can't help but think how cool and badass he can be.

The Monkey King loves it when you watch them train, MK not so much, due to the fact that Wukong shows off a lot more when you are around and thus he is a bit harsher in training and more distracted, making it difficult for poor MK (that doesn't change the fact that MK really likes you and appreciates how happy you make his mentor).

This man is such a tease and a flirt sometimes honestly. He uses the most basic and overrated pick up lines just to annoy you. Be careful not to get flustered by any, because he won't ever let you forget it and will be proud as a peacock. Although it is slightly adorable that he's so proud that he got you flustered.

But sometimes you engage in his pick up lines shenanigans and tease him back or make fun of those lines.

"Did it hurt when you fell from the Celestial Realm Peaches?"

"Yeah, it hurt like hell, I landed on my butt."

Causing you both to laugh your butts off for a few solid minutes lmao.

Peaches or peach chips are the main things he eats, so prepare for always having a peach taste in your mouth after kissing him. Not that you complain, you actually like that fruit (although not as much as Wukong does).

By the way, he will absolutely swoon if you kiss him in front of other people out of nowhere (especially if you pull him by his shirt in order to do that); lovesick smile, dreamy eyes and tail shaped like a heart, the whole package lol.

Sometimes Sun likes to visit you at work or randomly pop in while you're somewhere public in the form of a bird or other small animal and just hang out with you, whispering comments about everyone and everything into your ear in this funny high pitched voice (I actually have a headcannon that while transforming his voice is higher the smaller the animal and the other way around)

If you're up for it, Wukong would love to teach you a few fighting or defense techniques. It would also make him much more relaxed and calm knowing that you have at least some basic knowledge on how to protect yourself, just in case. He'll always try to be there to protect you, but he can't promise that he will always make it on time or at all. He may be retired but still has some duties and other things to do.

A bit of a sad thing is, you both often think to yourselves; am I good enough for him/her? How in the world did I deserve such an amazing person as him/her in my life?

Wukong always tries to be happy, and hides his problems, fears or negative emotions behind his jokes and goofy attitude. I'm not saying that his personality is fake, he is a happy and goofy person most of the time, but there are some random days when he has trouble keeping it all in and fails to put on the facade that everything is okay.

If you want to help him in these times, basically all you have to do is sit there with him and be by his side. Give him a tight hug and sit with him in silence or maybe hum/sing something quietly if you want. Honestly your presence alone brings him a huge comfort; knowing that there is someone who loves him even with all his flaws, accepts him with everything he hides inside and with his past mistakes.

Overall, Sun Wukong has his problems and flaws, but he really tries to be the kind of boyfriend he thinks you deserve. And honestly you think he's doing a very good job; he is a very good boyfriend, maybe even the best in all the realms as you like to say <3

Never Be Alone - How do you spend your days off when you have nothing to do?

i hate sitting still for too long so i tend to be doing a lot when i have free days. usually it’s things i enjoy like writing, reading or sitting outside in the sun, and some self care like watching shows that make me feel good or going on a walk and listening to music which probably leads to a dance party. really just try to make everyday full of fun and when i have nothing to do, i find something to keep me busy haha!

it really depends where i’m getting it from! i only drink iced coffee so from starbucks it’s always vanilla sweetened and at dunkin, it’s blueberry with milk and sugar. i LOVE love love tea so iced or hot, i’ll try any flavor and usually always have it sweetened except for when i make it at home which is when i sometimes don’t put anything in it.

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER!! i spent a whole year watching this show (yes it took me that long to watch the whole series, don’t ask me why) and the ending?? was the absolute worst?? i couldn’t believe after NINE SEASONS, the writers thought ending it like that was a good idea. still furious about it to this day.

there have been a few books that have left me the same way but most recently the one that comes to mind is the last book in the red queen series. i remember screaming at @lights-on-mendes because of that ending, even though i got closure with the later companion book, but ohmygod. that ending left me hanging and i did not like it one bit

On Nov 5, Darren wrote this post and the cc fandom lost their shit.

They decided that organizing 10 costumes for multiple events in two different states for two different people was not worthy of acknowledgment- especially since they wore several purchased costumes. They spent the next 30-ish days mocking her “online shopping skills” like the petty idiots they are and now they bring it up two months later.

Anonymous asked: this is funny, C posted a photo of beard, D posted photos with the beard. Almost like they were sitting next to each other and saying “ok ok I will say this”

ajw720 answered: The only difference, C controls his SM and the bearding, D does not, but they knew the Halloween post was coming when C posted his belated b-day wishes (not that he acknowledged they were late).

It really is, if you can remove the very human, tragic element, like a script for a really bad D Movie. C posts “Happy Birthday, Babe!” a day after the man’s actual b-day and “D” praises his fake bride for MAKING TEN costumes. Sure praise her if she actually designed them and sat with her sewing machine. No, she went online and ordered things (I doubt she even went to a store). And 3 couple costumes were cheap frankly. The only thought was how narcissistic she could be in their execution (as @flowersintheattic254pointed out even the Mario costume had a reason, it was a reminder of Japan and the fake encagement by referring to the ad that paid for their trip there).

And seriously how are people not questioning that she spent the entirety of her month picking TEN costumes? Who has time for this? I know, i know, a person whose only role in life is to play fake plus one.

I am just so tired by D in particular being utterly dragged down by the useless dead weight by his side and his team’s sole ambition to promote her and make her sound like a decent person.

If they wanted to praise her, maybe they should have forced her to participate in the zero waste initiative instead of sitting drinking by the pool or have her volunteer to help young girls who have been kicked out of their homes, or have been raped. Or pick any cause and truly volunteer her time to promote it. If she is not going to actually get a job and pursue a career, please force her to do something that is actually of value and contribute something good to the world. But to praise her for picking TEN costumes?

Praise that comes from a man who this year alone won three awards, is starring in a show he created and wrote the music for, has his first big movie premiere this week, is exec producer and star of a huge show on N/etflix, just announced his starring role with 2 A++ lists actors next spring on Broadway, celebrated the 5th anniversary of the festival he created, volunteered his time for the zero waste initiative, performed at several charity events, and was just yesterday name limited series actor of the decade. Where is the praise for him from his “bride”? He at least deserves it.

How do they not see how ridiculous it is for someone with D’s accomplishments in 2019 alone praise a person for purchasing TEN costumes for Halloween? And stans, how do you accept that this is right or normal. You really know nothing about him and have such little respect for him as a person if you continue to accept the character his idiotic team has created on his behalf. It is so far from the person he is and that he generally holds himself out to be when given the opportunity.

This isn’t about being a “gay fetishist” or “hating woman” this is about wanting for D to be fairly and accurately represented and no longer forced to participate in this stupid, life sucking game to promote a person that contributes absolutely nothing to the world. If you want to have a strong female role model, there are so many, i’ve talked about a few in the past few days (thus far Nancy, Lea, and Phoebe) and will continue to do so, but please stop worshiping a person whose sole reason you are speaking about her is her connection to D, even if you refuse to accept it is fake.

Whenever I see miarren gifset they always use the same quote underneath (the rolling the windows down quote) and at first I rolled my eyes and thought uh not that quote again, and I can't believe it took me this long to realise it's because there is literally no other quote that can be construed as loving. You can hardly put down "she's a big girl" whenever you make a set of gifs with M beaming and D looking like someone murdered the dog he's allergic to.

A Prince for Christmas 👑🎄 - Part 2

“And you are...?”

The tone of Yunhyeong’s voice sounded like that hadn’t been the first time he’d asked you your name. You’d obviously been thinking too much about the very, very odd coincidences you’d experienced in this place so far, and you hadn’t heard Yunhyeong ask for your name until just now.

“Oh!” you cried, letting out an extremely awkward chuckle. “I’m Y/N.”

And then recognition lit up Yunhyeong’s kind, gorgeous eyes. “Ah, right. The businesswoman who’s here to buy me out.”

Cue more awkward chuckling. “Yes, that would be me.”

Yunhyeong scrunched up one-half of his face as he thought, and you wondered how someone could look that attractive making such an unattractive face.

“How long do I have to decide?” he asked after a moment.

“Well...” you replied, stretching out the word as you tried to think of exactly how to phrase this next part. “I mean, I don’t know that you have much of a choice? But I’m here until next Friday.”

Yunhyeong paused again for a few moments before nodding his head slowly. “All right, I’ll give you my decision by then.”

And then he winked at you.

And then your heart totally fluttered, and you got super embarrassed because it was just a wink. A wink!

You turned to leave, wanting to actually flee the bakery as quickly as possible, but Yunhyeong stopped you with one sentence.

“Hey, sit down, let me get you something.”

You pulled your lips up into a tiny smile before taking a seat at one of the small, round tables. You watched as Yunhyeong picked out a chocolate cupcake from the display case, setting it on a little floral saucer - obviously another vintage item to match the theme of this place.

He set it in front of you, his smile even more enchanting than before if that was possible.

“My seasonal specialty,” he informed you. “Chocolate peppermint.”

“Ooh,” you frowned. “I’m not a huge peppermint fan.”

“Just give it a try. If you don’t like it, I’ll get you something else.”

But his expression and tone of voice clearly said he thought you would. You liked his confidence, so you picked up the cupcake and took a small bite.

The explosive peppermint flavor was expertly balanced out by the depth and darkness of the chocolate, and you found it was actually... really delicious.

You nodded as you chewed, immediately taking another bite as you noticed the grin on Yunhyeong’s lips go from bright to absolutely smug.

Usually, when a guy smiled like that, you couldn’t stop yourself from rolling your eyes and wanting to smack it off his face. But when Yunhyeong did it? It was... somehow... cute.

You had to ask again: what the hell was going on? Was this town under some sort of magical spell, and you were slowly becoming another victim?

Now, if you started to actually like Christmas, you would really be concerned.

As you continued to munch on your cupcake, you figured Yunhyeong would head back over behind the counter to wait for any more potential customers. But he sat down across from you instead.

“So, Y/N,” he began, looking at you rather earnestly. “Where are you staying?”

“Oh, um.” You wiped the cupcake crumbs from your fingers, slightly covering your mouth with your hand as you spoke. “At the Bed and Breakfast down the road? Like, literally only a mile or so away.”

“Oh, right! Nick and Holly,” he beamed. “I live right across the street.”

“Do you?” This town truly kept getting smaller.

“Yep. I’ll probably see you around a lot.”

“Oh...” you hesitated because you really weren’t sure if that was a good thing or not. “Cool.”

Yunhyeong sat with you until you finished the cupcake, asking about your life in the city and what you did on a daily basis at your job. He was extremely friendly, moreso than you would’ve thought considering you were here to take his bakery from him.

But it’s not like you would be taking away his whole livelihood. You would be paying him a pretty handsome sum of money. He would have plenty of cushion to fall back on while he found another job. Or he could work for the franchise bakery!

When your plate was completely clean (because that cupcake had been utterly fantastic), he slid out of his seat and took it away for you. You stood, as well, reaching into your coat pockets for your gloves and hat to prepare for the walk back.

Before you reached the door, though, you had a thought.

You weren’t leaving here to go do anything in particular, so you thought you’d ask a local about the goings on in town.

“Hey,” you called out, your stomach flipping just slightly when Yunhyeong turned to meet your gaze, his eyebrows raised expectantly. “What is there to do around here? What should I definitely see before I leave?”

“Well,” Yunhyeong began, his eyebrows now knitting together to wrinkle his forehead underneath his silky, jet black hair. “There’s the skating rink. There’s the ice sculpture garden. There’s Santa’s Village, and the Christmas tree lighting is tomorrow night, and the gingerbread baking competition on Tuesday, and --”

“Is there... anything which doesn’t involve Christmas?” you asked a bit guiltily.

“Um... no. Not this time of year. We’re pretty big on Christmas here. Why?”

“I’m just... not that big into Christmas.”

“No?” he asked curiously. “Why?”

You simply smiled, lifting your shoulders in a small shrug before throwing him a good-bye wave.

The crisp, cold air did wonders for your thinking as it turns out.

About halfway through your walk back to the Bed and Breakfast, you had decided all these weird coincidences you’d noticed were just that - coincidences.

And the fact the owner of the bakery actually had turned out to be an extremely good-looking, young man meant absolutely nothing.

Because he was most likely married! Or if not married then definitely dating someone. A nice, handsome guy who could bake? There was no way he was single.

And, you know what? Even if he was single, you were only here for a week!

A week!

There was absolutely no way you would even start to develop even an inkling of feelings for him. It had taken you over a month to agree to a first date with your most recent boyfriend, for crying out loud!

You knew yourself, and you were also fairly sure of how things worked in the world. Just because you and Emily had joked about you falling in love in this little town did not mean it would actually ever happen.

Because it wouldn’t.

You would not fall in love with Yunhyeong.

And those were not your famous last words. They were true.

DRINKS ON ME FT. SOLA ICED TEA

*chants* “chug chug chug!”

Nope. Not a freakin beer post. Just an Iced tea. Oh wait, wait. The Iced tea. —

Well if you know me enough, you would definitely know that I don’t drink all the teas in the world. Including milk teas, green teas, granola teas (idk is there any?) and iced teas. I mean i don’t drink EVERY iced tea.

After years of living on earth, I discovered that it’s because I don’t like the taste of mixing rice and some flavored H2O. I mean, I eat rice most of the time and i wouldn’t want the drink to alter the taste and the cravings. I don’t like adding more flavors to what I’m already dealing with. Yeah, call me picky, bite me. So yeah — The thing is, I would rather grab a water whilst having my favorite meal, soda can do but still, water.

Additional crap that you may really wanna get yourself out of this blog —

I know house parties have those beers and vodkas, but if you’re like me, who’s not really in a robust situation of slacking off, drinking boozes while snacking pizzas, you should have always a good back up. Why am I teaching kids how to drink? Get a hold of yourself.

Anyway Though besides that sola can be a freakin chaser, sola has been kicking asses, this is in a freakin can now (we know kim, ancient) Makes my life a lot easier though, its lesser, cheaper than the bottled one, not heavier, you can also drink this while having a meal or eating some snack, probably when your on the go, not liking the chaser your friend offers (kidding be grateful and drink moderately) late for work because, yes. It’s in a freaking can.

On behalf of me saying to you guys a gazillion times about the teas vs kim, I thank thor for letting me take the risk and pushing me to drink this. It was such a toothsome drink. This is something I won’t dodge every now and then coz hell it really taste so damn good.

Sola iced tea has 7 different flavors now, Sola Lemon Iced Tea, Sola Peach Iced Tea, Sola Raspberry Iced Tea, Sola Apple Iced Tea, Sola Orange Iced Tea, Sola Strawberry Iced Tea and Sola Apple Iced Green Tea.
