CONNECTIONS

Beau Deslisle: You keep running into each other, and maybe that’s the real indicator of your skill. You are not as good as slipping in and out of places as your mentor, but then again, if you and Beau keep crashing into each other, they must not be good at… whatever they do, either. There are days, though, where they appear as if manifested out of thin air. You’ve contemplated asking them for advice, forging a friendship, if only because working under Liane has halted you from speaking to your older friends from your life as a noble altogether. No one told you this way of life would be so lonely.

Liane Touissant: Liane… means well, you think. You want for nothing more than to impress her, but she has done their damndest to keep you as far from her as possible. Besides your evening debriefs, and her passing on smaller assignments to you, she keeps out of your way. You try to stay out of hers, but you don’t know how you’ll learn to be what Calandre wants you to become if Liane isn’t willing to teach you. It’s almost as if she’s afraid of you. You couldn’t even begin to guess why.

Savatier: Part of Liane’s teachings have been to expect the unexpected, and Savatier is certainly unexpected. You don’t understand how they can be so secretive and so open, so welcoming and so standoffish all at once, both kind and conceited. It’s like they’re the living version of a dichotomy. They intrigue you, and you want to know more about them, so you’ve been using them as target practice, in a way. You ask them questions, trying to get to the core of who they are. You follow them to and from the Palace’s library to catch them off guard, but every time you think you’ve succeeded, they catch you.

i remember seeing something on livejournal about facts and keynotes about nicholas. is there one for danny or the whole movie? like a lore and fact thing, not fun irl facts, but lore implied from the movie i could reference? and look upon to use for future fanfics? i mean, if not i could do more rewatches and stuff to add my own references, but was wondering if there was already something out there?

Had a dream where there was an unreleased fourth movie to the cornetto trilogy that came before sotd and they used elements from that movie to work on sotd.

In the dream I kept forgetting the plot and had to keep asking, so at this point I can't remember at all. But it was an apocalyptic type. And Nick Frost's character was named Riley (them using that for Shaun later on). I wanna say Simons character was named Page or something like that. They also didn't have Edgar Wright as the director but he did work on it. And at some point it went crazy and I ended up on the movie.

It was pretty cringe for the most part, so if was in some alternative universe in this, we didn't miss much besides an awkward explicit scene with Riley.
