#and also bc i have a ton of headcanons i'd like to make good use out of
Note
What happened to Princess after chapter 10 of Sins of My Youth? I felt bad for as she only appeared in chapter 10, and that was it. I felt really bad for her… Sure, she’s a spoiled brat, but her father was definitely at his worst there. (Even more worse than how he probably spanked Princess in Bought and Scold)
Yeah, it was not one of his finest moments.
I have my theories, but I don't want to say yet in case I change my mind later. I'd love to have her come back in a later chapter if I can, but only if it makes sense for the story.

Disabled Character Showdown
Loving the tournaments like @autismswagsummit, @aroaceswagcompetition, @adhdswagcompetition, @bisexualswagcompetition, haven't yet seen a showdown for disabled characters yet, so let's give that a go!
Rules:
As usual, no real people, etc
Both mental and physical disabilities are allowed, though I'd ask no responses that are just adhd/autism as they've had their own showdowns, we wanna showcase other disabilities here
(Chronic pain also counts)
I'm on the fence about including characters who aren't disabled in canon but are in popular headcanon (eg Essek from Critical Role), so I think for now, you can submit them, but let me know in the form, and we'll make that decision later depending on the responses I get
No "Oh this character isn't REALLY disabled bc they have a perfect disability aid/don't suffer" arguments pls, different representation means different things to different people, a disability is a disability no matter how sci fi your setting
Submit as many characters as you like but only submit each character once! (I'll use number of responses where relevant to help with seeding the bracket)
EDIT: Please use the google form, no longer counting submissions in my inbox unless you have a real good reason for not using the form
Form is HERE, submissions will be open until the end of Sunday, 5th March (NZDT)
(That's Saturday 4th if you're American)
Characters I'm already pretty confident will get submitted a ton so will get an automatic nomination: Toph (AtLA), Terezi + Tavros (Homestuck), Daredevil (Marvel), Ed Elric (FMA), Kaz Brekker (SoC), Shiro (VLD), Geordi La Forge (TNG)
I can't guarantee I'll include every single character that gets submitted, especially if this goes similar to some other blogs who've gotten like 500 characters all with one vote each? (Alas, I am but a simple human being and have multiple disabilities myself), but I'm willing to do a pretty big bracket/have some qualifying rounds beforehand, so good luck, and I look forward to hearing about a whole bunch of disabled characters I didn't know before!

envy!!!! and also winryy for the ask game :]
Favorite thing about them: Gender :) Also the whole desire for revenge brainrot thing
Least favorite thing about them: Off the top of my head how cruel they can be to Wrath. Like I wouldn't change it it's fair characterization but :/ Also I feel like he's a bit underwritten sometimes (this is an opinion I am. Extremely undecided on)
Favorite line: His "I'm really more of a pacifist" bit to Ed at Lab 5 in the dub
brOTP: Envy and Lust! I feel like there are a lot of parallels between the two esp wrt their dynamics with Dante, but this scene does a great job highlighting their differences (I have watched it a normal # of times). After Lust realizes Dante has been misleading her, I would have loved to see her+Envy have a conversation about it for characterization reasons (my bet would be that Envy's sunk coast fallacy would come out so strong)
OTP: N/A, do not put him in a relationship
nOTP: Most things but pairing him with Ed or Kimblee are the shitty ones I see most commonly
Random headcanon: I think Envy would probably like using neopronouns if they knew those were a thing
Unpopular opinion: I feel like people overestimate Envy's fighting ability, kind of? Like he's good, but a lot of other characters are really more creative - Envy is technically capable with shapeshifting of mimicking Lust's ultimate spear or Greed's ultimate spear or most of Wrath's more shapeshift-y alchemy things but he just never does that. Not complaining though their silly little random flips amuse me
Song i associate with them: I have a whole playlist
Favorite picture of them: Oh there are tons but here's one
Tumblr media
Ik it's an animation error but I like how their fingerless gloves' design looks a bit different here
Winry:
Favorite thing about them: She's so blatantly autistic it rules
Least favorite thing about them: the hitting Ed with a wrench thing (ik it's slapstick not serious characterization but it's unfunny)
Favorite line: Can't directly quote from memory but the bit just before they meet Izumi where she confesses to Ed that she blames herself/her own mechanical abilities for him getting into dangerous situations
brOTP: Ed or Sheska! Also maybe Wrath and Rose during the timeskip
OTP: Idk I'm not too big on shipping.... She's cute with Paninya
nOTP: Her with Sheska romantically kind of makes me uncomfortable bc I'd always assumed Sheska to be an adult (seems to own her own apartment + was already working at Central Library when Ed was 12 and came there). Like ik Sheska + Winry interact like peers so Sheska could just be her age and have gotten a job really young like Ed but we dk that so
Random headcanon: When trying to make automail for Wrath in the timeskip (since he's a creature made from alchemy not a human) she did a bit of research on alchemy. She's now fairly fluent with general theoretical concepts of the practice (though doesn't have the knack for actually transmuting)
Unpopular opinion: IDK if this is unpopular but it's not canon..... I would've liked if she ended up on the same side of the gate as Ed + Al (preferably Amestris side but yk). Idk if it's feasible from a plot and themes aspect but it would make ME happy
Song i associate with them: None really

I'd like to hear some of your headcanons about Miho and Duke! :D
Ask and ye shall receive buddy!!!! 💖
I'm gonna so some single headcanons for each of them and then ship hcs bc I got fucking brain rot for them.
Miho
Okay in the manga it is mentioned that Miho actually is a student librarian and I fully believe this girl is actually a huge bookworm. She loves fantasy and romance novels and always has a ton of books she loves to reccomend and would be an active part of booktok. She also probably adores shojo manga.
She owns every Bridgerton novel too you cannot convince me otherwise. She binges that show like it's the end of the world. She wants a regency era dress so bad. And a tiara.
Everyone kinda treats her as ditzy but I think she's smart in a lot of things that no one gives her credit for or sees as useful. She's actually really good at literary analysis and she's really good at making her own little knick knacks that make her happy. I think she just gets caught up in her own mind and her own daydreams she kinda just doesn't give as much attention or thought to conventional things or sometimes people's emotions but she tries so hard.
Would probably actually be a jack of all trades in several different areas bc she also picks up on her friends hobbies.
She always wants to go to Build A Bear with her friends so they can make plushies that can be besties.
Got into ttrpgs bc she thought Ryou was cute and wanted to impress him. Stayed bc she got genuinely invested and is actually a very active and dedicated player.
Miho looks like the girl that has the froggy chair from animal crossing in her bedroom. I think she'd love frogs.
She also gives trans girl vibes and I love that for her.
Duke
This boy gets the bougiest cologne he can fucking find and wears it like a badge of honor. Even if he does still dress like he shops at early 2000s Hot Topic.
Duke had to have been a theater kid. Look at him. That kid was Charlie in his middle school production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and now he's got main character syndrome.
I fully believe Duke is like. Nb or gender fluid. Just a vibe I get.
His favorite bonding time is going to drive his buddies to Taco Bell at 1 in the morning for a food run while they're blasting music in his convertible. He just loves the fun aspect of it and then the quality time of going to park somewhere and just sitting out and talking on a spring or summer night when it's warm and the stars are shining brightly.
He's the only one in the friend group who has an A in math like he's the only one allowed to do math.
Has a secret tattoo that only the dnd gang know about no one else is ever allowed to know, it is a secret to be taken to the grave.
Is not afraid to yell self confidence into you.
Miho/Duke (I AM ACCEPTING ANY SHIP NAME NOMINATIONS BC I HAVE YET TO FIND IT AND THEY DESERVE ONE)
They are both poly and established early on its okay to date other people as long as they keep open and honest communication and also they get to help pick out each other's outfits so they look their best.
They are super cuddly all the time like they will be on the couch just sprawled out together or Miho sitting in Dukes lap they just always wanna cuddle.
Miho and Duke doing each others makeup would be perfection.
Their first anniversary Duke takes her to a Bridgerton themed ball and got her the perfect dress and it was the sweetest thing.
All the self care / spa day dates all the time.
They flirt all the time and have cutesy pet names for each other and it's the really corny ones like Dukey-kins and Shnookums.
Matching/coordinated outfits for big events all the time.
They would be the aunt and uncle in the future that show up after a trip across Europe with all the presents and also pick you up after like 2nd period for food and don't take you back to school.

hi! this ask has a couple things so apologies in advance if this gets long lol
first, i wanted to ask about the coma buck theory. i've only recently watched the show, i've been in the fandom for about a month (mostly lurking and reblogging gifs lol). since day one i've noticed that 'buck will go into coma in 6b' seems to be something a lot of people believe, so if you know, where did that theory come from? i personally couldn't think of anything in the show that seemed to point to that, and and i also didn't find any posts discussing this in any detail, it seems like a collective headcanon more than anything to me. but i'm definitely very curious, so if this is something that you can see happening, could you please share your thoughts?
also this second part of this ask is just me getting excited bc i saw you mention the 309 kitchen scene in a recent ask and i've been dying to scream about it to someone lol. because oh my god, right??? idk how intentional that was or maybe the actors just happen to have good chemistry, idk anything but i just know that i had the weirdest cognitive dissonance moment while watching that scene. like just, the way buck steps towards eddie, my entire body sort of braced in excitement for a kiss, and like, that moment lasted for only about a quarter of a second but i actually had to pause because while watching that scene i'd literally forgotten that they're not actually together, and i was just like. wait. what happened. what? and just. aaaaaaahhh it was such a great scene and they're just so great and perfect together and like if the writers weren't planning on their chemistry they've written themselves into a corner bc they're just so perfect for each other, literally the family they've chosen, and just. aaah i love them sm😅
anyway, thanks a ton for reading my rambling, i really love your blog! hope you're having a good week <3
Hi Nonnie! No worries, I'm here to always try and help! *hugs*
So for the first part, I kind of explained my experience of seeing the coma!Buck theory taking shape in the fandom here.
As for the 309 kitchen scene, I love screaming about it, so yeeeeees, I'm glad we get to together! XD I personally am convinced that the 309 sexual tension was intentional. Why? Because the scene doesn't work without it. There's a joke they wanted to play, where they build our expectations towards some sort of an explosion between these two characters, but then instead of giving us that, they provide comic relief through letting a different kind of scene play out, a light-hearted one, comical in nature, that would make us smile (Buddifer playing video games together). But this only works if they REALLY build up the tension and if we REALLY ask ourselves whether there's going to be a blow up of some kind on our screens in a second. And while the scene plays around the idea that maybe Buddie will physically fight each other, we all know they were not. Buck had just apologized to Eddie again, he just showed how much he cares, and Eddie was visibly affected and moved by this, and their whole talk vibrates with how much they care about each other, I don't think anyone really believed they were gonna start punching each other. So if for the comic bit to work, the tension has to be real, and the aggressive/violent tension isn't, what made the comedy there work? The sexual tension. They HAD to turn to the implication of sexual tension, otherwise that whole thing falls flat. So yes, this is why I'm sure they did THAT intentionally. And your reaction, which you so perfectly described? It's not just yours. I went through it as well, and I'm sure we're not the only ones, because we were supposed to embrace for impact.
And I'm with you, I very much believe 911 has written itself into a corner. No one would ever work with either Buck or Eddie as well as the other one does. Eddie was originally supposed to be Maddie's Love Interest, but the second they changed course on that, they clearly built Eddie's introduction with Oliver and Ryan's chemistry in mind. They already saw enough of it to know that making us care about Eddie through Buck's eyes would work. So I'm also convinced if they wrote themselves into a corner, it's a corner of their own making, know what I mean?
Thank you so much for the kind words, and I'm so glad to know you enjoy my blog, I hope you continue to! Have a great day, lovely! As always, here's my ask tag. xoxox

Claptrap!!
OHOHOHO first to the punch!
- favorite thing about them
SO MANY THINGS TO CHOOSE UHUURRHRG but if it had to be like one or two: his voice and his undying loyalty.
pre-ffs claptrap's voice is so unique, and it can get oddly soothing in a way, and it just makes me so fucking jealous and his loyalty because even though he's a scaredy-cat he's still a raider at the end of the day (also the scene where he declines shadowtrap's offer to rule the goddamned universe because he genuinely loved his 'friends' fucks so hard)
- least favorite thing about them
not easy for me to say. claptrap's got tons of flaws but they're easily either linked to his horrendous 'childhood'/his bl1 antics/his time as fragtrap. i'd go off on a limb and say that he's waaay too naïve for his own good. even then it's less of a criticism and more of the fact that it always gets him into trouble :<
- favorite line
again! hard for me to say, but i've always loved the little sounds he makes when he jumps on a gravity pad. eup! and when he tried to stand up to flynt, it felt so cool because he finally bites back! (granted he did cower because 'geddit he's a pussy'-brand bl2 humor)
and then there's the part in bl2 where claptrap says this golden line: "You killed my friends! You destroyed my product line! I am the last CL4P-TP in existence, and I am going to TEABAG YOUR COOOOORPSE!" // absolute king shit
and when he calls everyone out for being an ASSHOLE to him in the pre-sequel, it's such a good moment in an already awesome dlc!
all in all claptrap has so many good quotes hhh
- brotp
a lot. gaige and claptrap are arguably at the top of that list, and i can never see them as anything more than friends/besties. angel and clap are a close second tho! also thanks to you the bl3 vhs are somewhere on the list hehe
- otp
uh.. 👉👈 obviously not a whole lot considering that most of the universe hates his guts lmao but traplicity/felicitrap/(insert felicity x claptrap ship name here) would've been SO COOL had jack not been a little greedy bitch baby and kill her off.. :(
not my only one but definitely a topper
- notp
jack. and claptrap. obvious reasonings aside i read this one fic of the two on ff.net and never recovered. took 999999 psychic damage. angel and claptrap, again, obvious reasonings 2: electric boogaloo. shadowtrap and claptrap for.. well duh. (they're bros to me and it'd feel weird.)
okay i feel like explaining the first notp a little more because it irks me to death. jack and claptrap have a kinda parent-child relationship. jack also canonically abused the shit out of claptrap which is double icky. it wouldn't be out of place that they'd have the most lopsided, shittiest relationship because jack's not only claptrap's employer, but also he generally has more power over him in general because he's hyperion property and uhm.. yeah. ew.
- random headcanon
1. he's like a little magpie. he collects the shiny™ and hoards 'em in his room. chances are he might actually have something of use there
2. by bl3 his voicebox is fucked, and rarely come the times where he tries to say stuff it comes out all staticky and shit. and sometimes it peaks and uh.. becomes 10 leagues beyond unbearable.
3. also bl3, he stops taking a lot of shit. like he'd still cower and stuff but whenever some rando talks shit about him he'd fight back (verbally. i think he'd rarely ever get into legitimate scuffles esp bc he's not a fragtrap anymore) and it kinda works-ish.
- unpopular opinion
i don't got much because the most i've got is a: claptrap should've gotten a much more significant role in 3, and b: i think claptrap recovering more of his old combat data, which also leads up to shadowtrap's possible return should be a thing. no way in hell they're gonna forget about this one essential part of cv and tp-s!
- song i associate with them
considering my taste in songs is otherwise shit and/or vocaloid: amygdala's rag doll - ghost (we've talked about this hehhe) or world's end dancehall - wowaka (which honestly isn't as fitting but imo it's kinda in-line with him. // also it's got themes of suicide in the lyrics so you might wanna avoid it if that stuff bothers ya) (i make up imaginary amvs with him and shadowtrap it's so fun)
- favorite picture of them
this screenie of claptrap with his cord-tail-thing in the bl1 main menu
Tumblr media
i kinda like that it just randomly pops out when he sneezes

it's softverkwan again, with sudden seoksoonhoon brain tickles:
soft sub seokminie,, mean but also somehow extremely tender dom jihoon :((((( switchy soonyoung who just wants kisses from both of them and be praised for every finger he lifts ;;
and seoksoon are such trophy spouse materials!!! and such perfect sugar babies!!! jihoon getting his share of love and affection even without asking and now he's attached and emotional but doesn't want to admit just yet :((
(im sorry if this rubs the wrong way, ya know, some aus of our otps just Don't Fit The Vision?? rip)
me a while back: yes ill reply to your ask soon
me: doesn't. this took 3 months.
promised i'd never touch nsfw headcanons outside of my google docs and look where we are now
i vaaaaaguely reference watersports and knife play for 2 sentences each just a heads up
to me seoksoonhoon's always been switch 😭😭😭 but i was always top/dom jihoon until i gave it more thought... seokmin i think would be the kind of dom who doesnt use impact play/degradation/choking/asphyxiation to tease his sub but rather things like orgasm denial/overstim and sensory deprivation/overload and he wields them so well.
(im REALLY not a dom soonyoung person he seems like a dom until the kissing part.... then he absolutely melts! he wants to be good and he wants to thank and take care and be owned etc...... will take criticism on this)
i read 1 omorashi seokhoon (i am willingly openminded) where seok has jihoon hold his piss through a dance class and im liiike. this is a concept: seokmin in control. jihoon letting seokmin do anything he wants w his body hell yeah
seokmin and soonyoung both want to be good but soonyoung is more likely to be a brat imo LMAO. soonyoung being a cocksleeve just for seokmin to get himself off. just seokmin feeling super bad about using soonyoung's mouth while he's teary-eyed and tied up and in a cock cage but jihoon whispering "you're doing great baby" "use his mouth like a cumdump it's okay" etc.....
(re: clover essay nr. 1: jihoon like watching / instructing his other two boyfriends) thank you again tumblr user fieurissons
i do love myself tender jihoon though. i really do. that's why i love seokhoon so much. i really think they'd have a scene occassionally/monthly/biweekly where jihoon just spends the entire time worshipping seokmin and doing anything he wants...... and it doesnt even have to be kink it can just be jihoon kissing seokmin absolutely breathless
but it's true, soonyoung basically thrives on jihoon's recognition and praise (when he asks for it). like there's subtle looks, and then attention seeking (non-derogatory) comments, and just shoulder pats, shoulder taps etc....
seoksoon ARE trophy spouses. i think jihoon would absolutely oh so much love to show them off full of marks on their necks their waists their thighs etc. forcing them to wear a lowcut shirt to show that theyre claimed—no one else has the right to lay a finger on them. matching clothes with a very unique specific pattern etc. i also think soonyoung would so be into exhibitionism/being filmed while having sex but im pretty sure that's established lmao. expansion on exhibitionism, specifically: the adrenaline. that's also why i vaguely feel like he'd be into knife play just because of the hidden danger (of course, no breaking of skin. ever. just the cold touch of the blade as a threat. jihoon does a shit ton of research to make sure nothing bad ever happens during the scene.)
for every trope theres gotta be a certain character dynamic that fits our otps.... its okay. though sometimes i have to tell myself Not Everything needs to be a seoksoonhoon if it doesnt fit them... but also Everything needs to be a seoksoonhoon bc theres not enough of them
(e.g: im not the biggest jigyu fan but i have to admit them in bdsm = one of my favourite dom jihoon dynamics) (likewise i really like gyuhan's dynamic esp for the characterisation of dom jeonghan... like jeongcheol dom jeonghan is good but oh... gyuhan...) (i have SO many gyuhan thoughts especially after seventeen ad genius because jeonghan riding mingyu in that position gives me the ability to talk about jeonghan pulling mingyu's hair/choking/asphyxiation and just mingyu in that position = spanking) (additionally nothing tops jeonghoon for sub jihoon but that's my opinion) (jicheol sub jihoon is a close second aaaaaaall because of the benefactor aka one of the most glorious bdsm fics ive ever had the privilege to read)

I was really curious about what your opinions on the DAO companions are :) I know we have talked about some, but I'd love to hear more and about the others as well :D I hope it's ok to pose this as an ask :)
Sure! That sounds like a ton of fun. This might be a long one tho. Mind you, this is not the finished version of the answer. I'd like to link stuff and add a cut, but rn that's not possible. I'll update it when I can.
Edit: I have updated it ^^
Let's go alphabetically bc why not.
Alistair:
Sweet guy. So sweet. There was a moment when I was hard pressed chosing between him and Zevran (alas, Zevran won). Also, he's weirdly tall according to the wiki? How did I not notice that before?
Let's get a bit more serious now, Alistair is a great guy. The only reason he's not the hero of the story is because he doesn't want to. He has all the qualities of a leader: he's good at dealing with conflict (as evident with the conversation with the mage at the beginning. He gets where he wants to get without antagonizing the mage, but without allowing him to trample all over him). He's a solid tactitian and knows how to make allies (he suggests to use the Grey Warden treaties, after all). I bet if he was in the leadership position, he'd even not bicker with Morrigan. His moral code is pretty tight; some might say too tight, but I think it's less about the moral code and more about learning to judge people by their actions, not by the labels they fit into (Morrigan is a proud apostate and therefore bad. Wynne is a humble circle mage and therefore good). He also has a bit of a black-and-white way of seeing the world. I empathize a lot with Alistair, especially with his experience with the Chantry and his subsequent reluctance to deal with it. I really wish I had gotten to know more about concrete experiences he had during his training as templar, but he seems reluctant to talk about it (gee, I wonder why).
Since I've only played the game once, I haven't really picked up on Arl Eamon's abuse towards him, which apparently exists (Isolde, however... I mean, even if he were Eamon's illegitimate son, he's a kid, ma'am, he didn't exactly get to chose his parents. So that's so not okay). Alistair's way of speaking about them both, however, is either sign that he has not come within a hundred miles of acknowledging how much it hurt him, or that he's already gone through the whole process and has decided to forgive them. The latter shows a very strong character; yes, he relies on the approval and leadership of others, he has his issues, but he's already started working on them.
That being said, irl Alistair would be like a little brother to me. I'd tease him relentlessly (all in good fun and I promise to stop if it makes him uncomfortable, but he's just so teasable). I still wish the videogame gave him the chance to take important decisions for himself. But that, of course, would somewhat defeat the point of the game.
Leliana:
Another sweet, sweet person. Her singing voice is amazing. Her belief in the Maker inspires me (I'm a religious person and seeing religious characters represented in a positive light is Very Cool. It's also sometimes a source of discomfort, because the Church has done a lot of very messed up stuff and positive representation can sometimes veer into apologetics for things that should not be excused, but that's a whole other can of worms. The bottom line is that religious characters sometimes work for me and other times don't and Leliana works for me very much bc she's an outsider inside the Chantry).
Leliana is best friend material, tbh. I'd love to get to know her irl, discuss theology and philosophy and maybe even politics? She makes mistakes and has prejudices, but, tbh, so do I. And I do get the feeling that she tries her best to learn. From the times she intervenes in a conversation between the Warden and an NPC, she shows herself to be compassionate and open to the needs of others. What I get from her character is that she genuinely wants to help, which is something that I adore of her. I suspect that she sometimes has a hard time deciding wether she's a good person or not. She has killed and seduced and worked for a morally dubious person, and she doesn't show the same nonchalance about it as Zevran (though they both do discuss their line of work in very... professional terms). This is, however, more of a headcanon than actual factual canon.
I also very much enjoy her girly side, like her interest in shoes and dresses. She's one badass woman who also looses her cool about the latest fashions in Val Royeaux. I like that. Between her and Alistair, a non human noble Warden has as good a help to navigate the Fereldan court as they're going to get. Leliana is also, I can't forget that, clever and insightful. It'd be easy to write her off as the innocent chantry girl, but she's so much more than that. Her kindness is paired with foresight, I think. She knows that taking on the trouble to help now can go a long way in the future. I just have a lot of respect for her.
Loghain:
This one's gonna be short bc I didn't recruit him. He's an amazing villain and would probably be a great Warden as well. He reminds me of Denerhor from LOTR; once a hero/stewart of his people, ambition and desperation have driven them both down a terrible path. I have also only little idea about his past. People say he lost a lot, and I believe it wholeheartedly; it doesn't excuse the fact that he plunged the country into a civil war in the middle of a Blight. I don't have a lot of sympathy for short-sighted politicians. I wish he hadn't made himself regent. That's what I take away from his character.
Edit: One thing I forgot to mention that really impressed me was his death. I had Alistair duel him (that was a rough duel), and then it kinda just jumped to a cutscene of my Warden nodding and Alistair executing him. That didn't sit well with me. I didn't want to kill Loghain, and less so in front of Anora. But what impressed me was that Loghain just accepted it. That takes a whole lot of guts. Compare that to Howe's death, and how he screams out that he deserved (more, probably, or anything but death) and it's crystal clear who the more noble of the two is. Loghain strikes me as very lawful neutral, and any neutral alignment has the particularity that it can be dragged towards good or bad, sometimes without the characters noticing it (which is interesting from a DnD perspective; neutral is often concieved of as just as stable as good or evil, but that may not be true. But that's a different post). Anyway, Loghain's death was impactful.
Morrigan:
I could kick myself for not maxing out her approval in the first play-through. I got to enjoy a bit of her friendship by the end of it and boy was even that little bit worth it. Friendship with Morrigan is something that is hard-won. It's all the more precious because of that.
Morrigan is full of paradoxes, I think. She's incredibly wise in some ways, yet also very short-sighted (”just kill them, don't solve their problems”. Morrigan, dear, I'm not going to gain a lot of allies if I kill everybody who poses a problem to me). She is so intelligent, but emotionally... not so. She knows so much about some things, and very little about the next. She's incredibly wilful and knows what she wants, but follows Flemeth's orders all the time through. She hungers for power and independence, yet craves closeness, but won't allow herself to have it. She asks you to prove yourself to her and is extremely critical of your actions, I think, because she's afraid. She bites the hand that feeds her because it might hit her next.
Like with Eamon, I haven't managed to catch the undercurrent of abuse that seems to permeate Flemeth's relationship with Morrigan. Except there are signs, because there must be something Morrigan is scared of and who has instilled all that rage in her, and that's Flemeth. Also, she clearly hates/does not care about her and wants her dead (unless killing Flemeth was part of Flemeth's plan as well? Hm.)
Morrigan is that one person who you are nice to, continuously, because nobody else is. And suddenly she becomes less cold. And then friendly. And suddenly you're asking yourself why everybody hates her, because she's a really good friend! I just wish the other companions came to a similar conclusion, especially Alistair and Wynne.
Oghren:
They did this man dirty. He has such great lines and I'm convinced he was a great person before Branka disappeared. He has that dwarven warrior spirit, and while he looks like Gimli, some of his most impactful lines remind me of Dwalin or even Thorin Oakenshield himself. He could be so noble had he gotten some character development, damnit!
Oghren as he is written is somewhat disgusting. I hate the lechering comments and the drunkenness. And still, I don't hate him because of those amazing lines he has when he's actually sober. It's frustrating and I'll give him that character development myself if the game won't. I strongly associate the song Whiskey Lullaby with him, bc that's how he would have ended up if the Warden hadn't taken him along (warning: the song talks about suicide and alcoholism). Like I said, they could have done such cool things with his character. As he is written now... it's just sad. Moments of lucidity drowned in alcohol and creepy jokes. As you can see, I don't blame the character for either. The alcoholism happens all too often irl. The creepy jokes... I put that one on the writers' tab.
I actually think Oghren could have been a great mentor figure (I know, I shock myself as well sometimes). Next to the Grey Wardens, the ones who know most about fighting darkspawn are the dwarves because they have to deal with them constantly. Especially a warrior caste dwarf like Oghren could have brought a lot of that invaluable knowledge to the team, especially since there are no Grey Wardens in Ferelden but two extremely green recruits. Next, you get the chance to give Oghren the command of the teammates you leave behind in the battle of Denerim with the reason that he has lead men into battle before. Where did that suddenly come from? Oghren should have been right up there telling my Warden that they were doing this wrong, that they needed more food (and booze) and a confident leader to keep the armies they've called together going. Oghren should have been able to tell my civilian city elf who got recruited into the Grey Wardens a six months ago how one leads an army. How one presents oneself to inspire confidence, how one doesn't crack under the pressure, how one gets the leaders of said armies (some who hate each others guts i.e. Dalish elves and humans) to work together. And, last but not least, Oghren could have had a great story about grief. This is a man who has lost most of what made him (and what he hasn't lost he's spilling down the drain with every mug of ale). This is a man who, if you take him into the Deep Roads, has to see what his wife did to his family, how his wife got absolutely obsessed, and can be forced to kill said wife or watch her die. All Wardens loose their home and families at the start of the story. It would really have rounded the whole narrative out if the Warden and Oghren could have recognised their grief in each other and hashed it out somehow. Such as it is, Oghren is a depressed drunkard and there is nothing we can do about that. I find that frustrating.
Rascal (a.k.a. Dog):
Best boy. 100/10. I wish we had gotten to see the reaction of the different origins to the mabari (because elves probably have a whole different experience with them from mages or humans. And dwarves just... I think they straight up have none? XD). Other than that, no complaints. The name Rascal was the one I gave my dog because you have to be a right rascal to survive what he did and play the pranks he plays. Smartest breed in the world indeed.
Shale:
Shale is one of those characters that I recruited rather late in the game, so I haven't had the chance to explore their personality and worldview, really. I didn't even get to take them to the Deep Roads (this will be ammended in playthrough nr. 2). As such, I don't have particularly strong opinions on them (or her? The wiki refers to Shale as 'it', but that sounds weird). But, because I know so little about Shale, I have a lot of questions. First, what were they like before they were a golem? Shayle, as she was called then, was the best warrior of her time if I remember correctly. Why did she become a golem? Was it to be able to eternally protect her people? Was the sarcasm the golem Shale exhibits also part of the dwarven warrior Shayle or did that come later (if for thirty years you have nobody to talk to but yourself, you better be entertaining. And I can imagine how it could make somebody terribly jaded as well).
Next, how attached is Shale to their golem form, exactly? According to the banter, they infinitely prefer it to a squishy fleshy form. If that is the case, however, why go to Tevinter to try and become a squishy dwarf again? It's not like that process could be reversed if they wanted to become a golem again; if Shale survives to the end of the game, the Anvil of the Void is destroyed and Caridin is dead. Was the whole spiel about their indestructible form a façade? It might have been, but not because Shale actually disliked their form. I think it would have more to do with the loss of their memories and with the very invasive experiments and alterations of Shale's body made by the mage Wilhelm. The loss of memories means that Shale is unable to remember life as a fleshy creature. They might be deflecting by pretending that they didn't care for that experience anyway because of the superiority of their golem form. The modifications made to their form by Wilhelm would have alienated them from their body. In light of this, it's significant that Shale asks the Warden to decorate their form with crystals.
All of this is, of course, pure speculation. I may have easily missed or forgotten details that would disprove the above thoughts. All in all, I like Shale and I hope we meet them again in DA4 (given that it's mostly set in Tevinter). It's a liking from a respectful distance, because Shale is tall and made out of rock and also way more experienced than I will ever be (they are literally the oldest member of the Warden's little Blight fighting squad).
Sten:
Sten is another person I'd keep a respectful distance from physically. That seems to be the what he would prefer, at least. I've enjoyed his character a lot, especially because he seems pretty clear-cut at first, but slowly lets the nuance of his person show (gruff and stoic, but then he has an eye for art, a sweet tooth and he likes cute animals). It's also very interesting that there's no moment when you learn "the truth" about him the way you do with Zevran or Leliana. There's no big reveal about his life under the Qun before coming to Ferelden. He says he was sent to monitor the Blight, but honestly? If neither Ferelden nor Orlais knew there was a Blight, how could the Qunari know? I think he's lying, and he takes his secrets back with him when he leaves Ferelden. And yet I think I know him enough to say that a Warden who has become friends with him has nothing to fear from Sten.
One thing I find very interesting about Sten is how he thinks. His conversation about how women can't be soldiers has been analysed a lot on this page I think. He seems to be arguing based on a different paradigma than the one the Warden has. He also seems to have a very clear-cut view of the world. What is fascinating to me is that, when arguing with the Warden and learning about their culture, he is not necessarily becoming more lax about his worldview. I think it's more likely that he is expanding his paradigma, the structure of thought through which he understands the world. I don't think that he is now convinced that women can be warriors as well. I think he rather understands that, in Ferelden, the relationship between occupation and gender is different than under the Qun. Which of the two he thinks is more right or more agreeable, I have no idea. I'm also not very interested in that. But I find it fascinating how he always seems to be looking on quietly, gathering data, classifying it and trying to fit it into his understanding of how the world works. I wouldn't be surprised at all if his original party was a scouting party to see how vulnerable Ferelden was at that moment to outside forces. One thing I don't understand with all of this is why he urges the Warden to meet the Blight head on. No smart soldier would suggest that, except if they are foolishly proud (and Sten doesn't seem like that kind of guy tbh). I get that the Warden takes way longer to gather allies than expected because they first have to solve all of their allies' problems. But surely Sten sees the need to have allies? Is he just that impatient? Does he have a death wish (à la, I lost my sword and am without honour, better to die sooner than later and in glorious battle)? Was he his group's previous commander and is he now having trouble following somebody else's orders? Or maybe it's his way to make sure the Warden knows what they are doing? To push them into becoming the self-assured commander their allies will need once they're all gathered? I really don't know. I like the last option best, however.
For me, Sten is my fellow, more experienced soldier. Like Alistair, he can potentially be the Warden's brother in arms, but he's definitely the older brother here. He probably doesn't take kindly to tearful confessions of how hard everything is, but I feel like he's otherwise a solid rock to lean on. I feel like the Warden can trust him to do what is necessary and count on him no matter what, especially after they get his sword back. His devotion from that point on is honestly so powerful.
Wynne:
Wynne was such a support for my Warden (except with the whole conversation about love vs. duty and that she may have to choose between Zevran and ending the Blight and that she should therefore break up with him. Wynne had a point. Astala was so not willing to sacrifice her relationship with Zevran. But the whole conversation came at a point where she was already so disillusioned that she blew up in Wynne's face (”can i please just have one (1) nice thing????”)). But all in all, Wynne is great.
She has a lot of flaws. She was very marked by her life in the Cricle and, for all her age, she has little experience living outside of it. She is also a conformist despite her strong moral core. In a way, her ability to find peace with her lot in life impresses me deeply because it speaks to a lot of strength of character. Sadly, however, strength can be ill applied and used to suppress. I think she has convinced herself that the Chantry is right under (almost) all circumstances to be able to rationalize the life that mages live. She's had her son taken away from her as a baby and an apprentice killed. Her reaction seems to have been to convince herself that this was right, or for the greater good (and now I'm thinking about the Guardian's question at the temple of Andraste's Ashes; are you wise or do you just repeat what others have told you? The answer is not as clear-cut as it might be). This is why she is so irritated by Zevran and Morrigan. By aligning herself with the Chantry, she is, in her eyes, good. Zevran and Morrigan are not; they do not conform to Chantry morality and they defend themselves tooth and nails against somebody who would try and convert them. This is something Wynne never allowed herself to do; she always did the "right" thing and it has cost her so much. I'm not saying she was right (it would probably have done her some good to rebel from time to time, and to trust her own gut instinct more), but in light of this, it hardly surprises me that she's so judgamental. She has to be, or she would be forced to confront all the evil she has not fought against all those years and all the hurt that has been caused to her by the very institution she protects (and thank God she only tries to argue and can appreciate it when people have found a good life outside of her comfort zone. If she tried to convince by force or, for example, drag her former apprentice back to the Circle... boy oh boy that would get ugly). If you think about it, Wynne really is a good example for what happens if you live by a philosophy of always choosing the lesser evil.
Something that I keep forgetting over her grandmotherly and dignified character is how damn powerful she is. She has escaped the carnage at Ostagar; HOW!? She protected those mage apprentices in the Circle tower for God knows how long. In the battle of Denerim, she wades through an army and comes out alive on the other side. The wiki lists her age at 40, I think, but that doesn't make a lick of sense unless 75 years of age are the Fereldan equivalent to 100. This lady, about whom people make grandmother jokes, did all that. It's impressive.
Zevran:
You know, I would really love to know what Wynne thinks about the events at Kirkwall in DA2. It might be a disaster for her, or it might pave the way for one last bit of character development. She certainly didn't want to return to the Circle after fighting the Blight. That may be an indicator of some change in her stance on the Circle of Magi.
Edit: I forgot that she is what the Circle considers a literal abomination! Holy cow, how could I forget that?? Anyway, her conversation about what being an abomination means is so... heartbreaking, actually. It's so tentative. So careful. "Am I an abomination? Am I the same thing that has killed my students? The same thing as Uldred? Am I lost and damned? Did I invite this spirit in? Is this my fault?" Like wow, Wynne is going through something huge right there. I love it. I have to continue playing the game to see what it ends up as, but it's fascinating and such a huge thing that she allows the Warden in on that.
Ah, Zevran, my beloved (he has stolen my heart so much it's not even funny anymore). He's funny, he's charming, he's so so loyal and it breaks my heart. Zevran is the one about whom I've read most meta: these three wonderful posts for instance, as well as this one about his possible lack of scars, and this one about his lack of freedom. All of these have influenced my opinion of him and they are great reads.
I have talked about Zevran with you before, so I'll just skip to the new stuff. I have come to conclusion that Zevran is an artist at heart. This is totally not biased by the fact that I also do art, but hear me out. One of his preferred gifts are bars of silver and gold. While those have the obvious utility of basically functioning as money (they can be sold to any silversmith or goldsmith and their value is pretty stable through time and in different countries), there's also this from his codex: "Zevran shows an affinity for the finer things in life—hardly surprising for an Antivan Crow—but his appreciation can be more poetic than he lets on. A simple bar of refined silver or gold, uncomplicated by a craftsman's hammer, is elegantly valuable." Tell me that is not an artist's eye that sees that gold and sees the beauty in it. Then, there's also the meta about Zevran the Seducer which I linked above and link here again. It talks specifically about how he lets himself enjoy the target and be seen in his enjoyment. Tell me that is not an artist's eye that beholds the beauty of something he is set out to destroy. Even his talk about his assassinations show this. He talks about it as an art, the way somebody would talk about the brutal intervention in stone that produces a sculpture. Yes, it's a rationalization of the act of killing and yes killing is still wrong. But he doesn't go on about it on a moral tangent the way Alistair or Wynne would (”this person was bad, killing them was necessary”) or even through the argument of survival like Morrigan would (”it was either them or me and it sure as Hell wasn't going to be me”). He talks about the pleasure of a job well done, of the satisfaction of striking the precise point and executing a plan to the perfection so as to minimize chances of discovery and to make a clean death possible. And pleasure in seeing and in doing, this I firmly believe, is absolutely fundamental for an artist.
My favourite part about my Warden and Zevran as a pairing is that Zevran precisely brings out that ability to take your pleasures as they come and to really savour them. Fighting the Blight is tough; it's so important to find good things amidst the chaos to stay sane. If Astala saves Zevran from himself by offering him a place to stay and a purpose, Zevran saves Astala from herself by keeping her from running herself into the ground trying to save the world.
There are some things I don't like about Zev. The incessant flirting, for example, sometimes makes me uncomfortable (it becomes enjoyable for me once the Warden and him are in a relationship, but before that? Nah, no thanks). I wish he would also leave the other female characters alone (and there's so many more shameless comments of his aimed at Morrigan, Leliana or Wynne than at Alistair or maybe even Sten).
---
And that's my take on the Origins companions (this was rather long. Whew ^^' I hope it was still readable and that you enjoyed it!!) Thank you so much for the ask!! It's been a joy thinking about this. I was worrying at first that the less prominent companions like Sten or Shale wouldn't get as much content but... well XD

As a rina, we do get stereotyped as delusional which I think can be unfair at times. Like you said, there’s not a lot off the table for us so we can make inferences and theorize more than other ships can. I also think some people take harmless fun theories from our end too seriously. All shipping comes with a fun amount of delusion, headcanons, theories so why shame people for enjoying that aspect (not you)?
Something that I do find funny is even though we do get that stereotype, rina’s are really good at interpreting the show as it’s being told. We may not agree with it or like it, but we do see what is being given to us and hinted at. I remember a lot of people thought we were crazy for calling out that rini wouldn’t last after seeing the last two episodes of season 1 but alas. Some people was caught up in the emotional confession and them getting back together, but decided to ignore the subtext and foreshadowing that we got from ricky’s conversation with his mom, his charcter arc the whole season when it came to change, and nini’s arc when it came to her independence and confidence. We look at what Tim says in interviews and what we’re shown in the show to try make sense of what we have seen and will see in future seasons. I don’t what to generalize other people in the fandom as I know firsthand how it feels, but SOME people take what we get literally and at face value rather than looking at what the narrative is trying to lead to. So yeah, I guess we can be called delusional for having hope for all these years and making theories that may or not happen, but no one can say that we have never been right.
hi anon! thanks for the ask.
--
it's sorta funny in a way, because rina doesn't have a ton that is concretely on the table, but there's also not a lot that's explicitly off the table as of right now. so as i said before- there's a lot more room for like- coming up with different theories about stuff.
and that's sort of the thing isn't it- fan theories and headcanons and the like are harmless. there's just got to be a better word than just "delusional"... bc i may not agree with someone's understanding of something, and i may even be right about the way the story is being told, but calling people delusional isn't really- the nicest.
--
i don't know if the rina fandom specifically is necessarily better at interpreting the show, so much as that you've been forced to read between the lines more, because that's where your hopes lie. that means that you're maybe capturing some of the smaller details that others maybe don't so much because you're paying more attention to them.
ricky goes all in with nini at the end of season 1, despite his mom's words to him. i usually try to keep my rini hat locked away for the most part because i'm not going to change anyone's mind and my asks aren't ever about them... so i try not to get too into the rini related aspects of these questions that are mostly being used as examples. but i'll note this quickly: do lynne's words open that up as a possible plotline for season 2? yes. had ricky and nini already outgrown each other when they get back together in season 1? i truly don't think so, and i'd be willing to explain if anyone wanted me to. (ngl if anyone's curious about anything related to ricky and nini's relationship and respective trajectories in general i'd be happy to talk about it.)
--
your point about people taking the narrative at face value is an interesting one, because on one hand i agree, it's really neat to look at trajectory down the line. but then at least for general audiences, which is who these sorts of projects are at least to some extent written for... the point is to just enjoy what you're getting in real time as you get it, with a few hanging threads in between episodes to keep you interested. so i really don't think there's actually anything wrong with watching the show and taking what we get literally. i'd argue that's the idea in some ways.
like in season 1, regardless of what any individual's actual personal feelings were, by the end, we were supposed to root for ricky and nini to get back together, and that's how the general audience viewed the show. that remains true even if there was a passionate rina fanbase that grew over the course of the season, like- tim was taken by surprise by all of that, to my understanding.
like yes, there's absolutely a positive side to getting invested to what might happen down the line, that's a lot of what fandom is rooted in imo- things that might be rather than what is. but i don't think anyone who takes things at face value is actually misinterpreting the show. they're just interpreting what we have, rather than what might be. neither is an inherently better way to consume content.
now to cap that off real quick though because i don't want to come off as saying speculating a lot is bad at all, it really isn't. i mean a lot of what this blog that i'm posting on right now is me speculating about stuff, and working off of what we've seen so far to try to do so. i just don't think that there is actually one concrete future laid out even when including the subtext, which is what i'm trying to explore here. by having these sort of conversations, i'm just looking at ideas of a whole lot of maybes. for me it all sorta comes back to those few words i repeat a lot in these answers:
"we just don't know"

Hi first off can I just say that I love love love your headcanons?? Bc i do!! Any who I was wondering if you could do sfw + nsfw relationship headcanons for 3rd gym + Iwaizumi x a kinda big girl? Like not huge just chubby and kinda tall? Idk. I'd love it :)
It may have taken me awhile to write these, but I really enjoyed doing them! Because I freaking love headcanons! So thank you, Anon, for enjoying with them and giving me more to do!
SFW
Bokuto Koutarou
He’d feel so secure standing next to her, because, like really, Bo’s a big guy, he’s usually afraid he’s gonna crush someone in the midst of delivering his affections. With her, while he still worries, he’s not quite a restricted about it.
Just means she’s getting the purest form of his love! The sudden hugs and gathering up in his arms, the rushed kisses to her face and neck when he becomes too infatuated with her, and those hands that always want to be touching some part of her at all times!
They probably both use each other as their personal pillows all the time, be it at school, out in public, or at home. Bokuto likes to lay on her tummy or her legs where she like to lie on his chest or his little tooshie, lol!
Akaashi Keiji
Just freaking loves gathering her in his arms from behind and laying his head on her shoulder. It’s probably his immediate comfort zone. Whenever he starts to feel stressed about school, volleyball, or something at home, he seeks her out and just curls up around her from behind.
Oh! In turn she probably adopted the habit from him and will often times find herself pressing her face into his back! It’s just so comforting to her even when she’s not upset.
Result, she’s - more times than not - the big spoon! Akaashi doesn’t mind in the slightest! He probably drags her leg over his side and spends his time idly messaging and drawing patterns into her soft thighs!
Kuroo Tetsurou
Freaking loves blowing raspberries wherever he can on this girl! She wore her hair up (or has short hair!) to reveal her neck: raspberry. She decided to wear a crop top while they were out shopping: raspberry. Her thighs are bare as she lays on his bed while they’re doing homework: freaking raspberries!
Almost always has her in his lap no matter where they are. His arms are wrapped around her middle or resting on her thighs, head against her shoulder as she rubs his scalp beneath that mop of hair. Just public cuddling, so much public cuddling.
Hell, he’ll even find himself in her lap sometimes, curling into her as she holds him tightly. His fingers dip into her flesh as they trail up her sides more than likely turning a cute moment into a chance for torture if she’s ticklish! (I can just imagine things getting out of hand and she accidentally smacks him! Omg! He brought it on himself!)
Tsukishima Kei
This kid is guaranteed always taking pictures of her and them together. Like, check his Instagram, it’s flooded with images (I will fight anyone on this!).
Ones where they’re side by side, cuddling, cheek kisses, maybe even just a shot of their linked hands on her thigh??? And then he’s got a TON of just her - most of which she’s probably not even aware he took - of her curled up on his bed, sleeping on his shoulder, or, oh! Those freaking adorable photos from behind with their hands together! Yup, that’s the stuff.
His favorite place for his hand is right on her waist. He might even prefer holding her there over holding her hand? Like, it just feels comfortable with her side pressed against him while his fingers can knead into the flesh of her waist there. Just yes.
Iwaizumi Hajime
Ooooh, I can picture then being the exact same height and it makes me way beyond happy! Tons of chaste and neck kisses and easy shoulder resting and prolonged eye contact that always makes Oikawa complain when he’s around them. (“I am here too, ya know?!!?!”)
Dude, this kid is all about flesh and how much of it he can get into his hands at one time (ps. It’s never enough!) and he just lives for his chubby girlfriend! So, she better tell him how comfortable she is with drawing attention to it, cause he’s always going to be helping himself otherwise!
Like, he’s a man of simple needs, really. Let the little hedgehog have his fill every now and then of that plush flesh! He’ll reward her, of course, he’s not a savage!
NSFW
Bokuto Koutarou
Okay, legit, this precious one gets so turned on by those plush legs around him. Like, pull him in with them and he’ll be putty in her hands without a doubt - plus he’ll be sporting a hardon before she even knows it!
Whether they’re around his head or waist, it doesn’t matter, boy will go to town on those thighs! Biting and kissing the flesh until he leaves mark and his hands are constantly gripping them throughout the entirety of the act.
Omg, ride him. She’s the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen and he wants to see her in at her beauty. If she gets on top and allows from his hands to grab freely at her hips, butt, and thighs, this boy will be in heaven (she’ll no doubt be able to make him scream as well!).
Akaashi Keiji
Remember how I said Akaashi’s comfort zone is cuddling from behind, it’s no different during the hot and heavy times either! Boy LOVES taking her from behind, his head pressed between her shoulder blades and his hands gripping at her hips.
Oooooh, reverse cowgirl is one he likes a lot too! Like, he gets to watch her ride him while his hands can freely grab at her bottom. And the way her back arches or her head falls back, omg, she’ll have him begging for more.
While he’s not one for leaving hi kids in places where everyone can see them, that doesn’t mean they’re not there. Her breasts and hips are littered with evidence of his teeth. During summer he’ll distract his mouth from leaving marks to eating her out, hands happy to be full of her thighs.
Kuroo Tetsurou
Boy just freaking loves going down on his girl. And he’ll take his time getting there like the freaking tease that he is. He’ll start at her neck, working there until he found that spot before starting down her body, making sure to give attention to each and every part of her.
Little shit will totally bypass her heat too, choosing instead to kiss around her hip and down her leg. He won’t actually give her the attention she wants until he’s finished coming back up the opposite leg, it doesn’t matter how much she demands of him.
He’s good at talking right? While he’s balls deep inside her, he’s got his lips at her ear telling her just how good she feels inside and how he wants those legs around him tighter. Oh, and he spends plenty of times just moaning as well. He’s just a man, he can’t always be in control.
Tsukishima Kei
Shit, I just imagined this kid recording and taking pictures of their illicit activities - all of which he uses as master nation material when she’s not around. Oooooh, and he’s probably always wanting to take pictures of her naked! Like he’s got provocative ones, sure, but also casual ones of her just walking around his room or something? (I got like this Renaissance Venus image stuck in my head when I think of those pictures! So freaking pretty!)
Oh my geez. Some slow electronic house music is playing quietly in the back and he fucks her to the beat, never speeding up or slowly down. All the while his hands and slowly working at her flesh (almost to the beat of the music) and, gosh, it probably lasts HOURS and it’s pure, beautiful torture! (I totally don’t fantasize about this all the freaking time guys… I do all the time.)
Lol, this kid probably loves lap dances too, yeah? (I mean, who doesn’t?) and he’s always totally stoked when those hips come sashaying up to him where he’s seated at his computer desk. It doesn’t take long for his hands to start wondering her body, fingers pressing into the flesh and watching intently how it dips below his finger. This boy is all about details, even in the sexy times.
Iwaizumi Hajime
Ahhhhh! Boy just wants to grab and grope and kiss and lick every single freaking part of her! When the clothes come off his animalistic instincts turn on and he’s all primal. Shit, man, he probably growls when he goes in to bite at her flesh or as his hands press her tighter to himself.
Sidenote: just because Iwaizumi is very rough and eager during sex does not mean he can’t flip it off when he wants to. She’s feeling like she needs comfort and deep loving? You bet your ass he’s taking things slow and full out body worshipping her because she deserves it! Those breast, that waist, her hips, and her thighs are all getting delicate attention while she just sits back and enjoys herself.
Doggy style is 11/10 on his list. Actually, he probably likes it better when he’s taking her from behind but her back is flush against his chest. Not only does this allow more skin-to-skin contact, but this lets his hands have a chance to grab at whatever part of her he fancies at the time (side note: it’s all of her!).

If you're up for it, I'd love to hear some schizophrenia headcanons for any of those characters you mentioned.
i was legit just abt to elaborate on it myself so thank u so much for enabling me, all of u anons are too good to me
let’s start off w/ wisely since he was the Star of that posti lov to base hcs like these in canon fact and?? wisely shows a ton of symptoms, palhis gigantic hatred of hygiene immediately to me was just 👀 bc? same?? not wanting & actively avoiding hygienic stuff is a symptom as well as neglecting other needs, so is sleeping way too much & that typically sounds like a mood disorder symptom to ppl but it’s in schizophrenia too & wisely’s sleeping issues plus the fact that? he really seems perfectly well-adjusted mood-wise = schizophrenia, not to mention he rlly shows a lot of avolition? which looks like laziness but is actually a symptom where he rlly just can’t work up the energy to do things and naturally doesn’t have the same motivation to do certain things that nts havealso, like, even the earl called wisely out as always being eccentric (even in comparison to the other noah!) when he reincarnates which translates in everyone’s minds as “very very strange and absolutely not thinking the same way other people do” and just. so much in the way he acts are hallmarks of negative symptoms in schizophreniacatatonia, too. if we still used subtypes like that (which we don’t) then i’d def place him as a catatonic subtype
and ofc we haven’t really seen much/any evidence of hallus or delusions for him but one could sincerely make the argument that all of the noah hallucinate re: how they see/interact with their inner noah and how wisely finds that rlly hard to control, especially since we have violent impulses sometimes too y'know? people like to pretend it doesn’t happen and a lot of times we’re more vulnerable to violence but we’re also susceptible to being more violent & losing our hold on reality enough to hurt othersplus, i really like to imagine that wisely, considering how he interacts w/ people & how his mind-reading works that he gets a TON of auditory hallus & that contributes to his headaches & he probably gets confused a lot & gets reality checks from tyki & road often
i think road would be helpful at giving wisely reality checks even tho she’s psychotic herself & they’d probably help out each other and balance each other out bc they aren’t hallucinating the same things, obviouslyi’d think a lot of road’s symptoms would manifest as paranoia & visual & auditory hallus, and she’s very, very self-aware of the fact that it’s not real but she’s so lost in her dream world anyways that she can’t tell very often what really is reali think road would embrace it a lot too and at this point in her life probably has a really good balance with her hallus and is used to them, but i imagine it used to be that she wasn’t so acclimated & that she used to have a lot of visual hallus in the form of flashbacks & i bet especially she has the same issue the earl has of hallucinating neai like to think she’d have taste hallus too, like tasting blood for no reason, which, from personal experience? super weird, that, & that’s part of why she loves candy so much bc Pure Sugar makes it easier
we’ve seen the earl hallucinate before & i’d say a good chunk of that is bc of his trauma but also i feel like all those years he’s been around? would confuse him a great deal & he’d have hallucinations of really old things, hearing voices he hasn’t heard in a hundred years, seeing people he hasn’t seen in a thousand, not to mention he’d also have a lot of hallucinations of nea & a lot of confusion in generali feel like he’d be schizoaffective, like me, altho probably bipolar instead of depressed type, but maybe i’m still projectingi bet a lot of negative symptoms come out in him too & some are justified ofc, e.g. paranoia but also the fact that he also just gets exhausted and needs so much time to recoveri bet he’d have to deal w/ disordered thinking and speech a lot too & spaces out a lot & he just generally appears Weird to anyone else even tho everything he does makes total sense to him, always, like putting 15 sugar cubes in his tea
i like to think all of the noah who are more in touch with their noah side are psychotic, bc i’m very, very in love w/ these super strong noah family members & what can i say? i want to see myself in themand i also just appreciate how they act around each other like it’s so understanding & they KNOW what the others are going thru, e.g. road and wisely always understand why the earl gets so lost and know how to help him, the earl and road know how wisely trails off and acts strange and zones out and are perfectly fine with it and make sure the others treat him well & not like it’s a problem, and i bet wisely and the earl help road any time she starts losing herself and retreating too much from them and they know how to bring her back and they all just!! deal with their symptoms really well together and understand each other!!
i have more to talk abt, ofc, but this. is long. and if i write more i’ll be compelled to put it under a read more, so i’m gonna stop herei’m sure i didn’t mention a million things and i have hcs for the other dgm charas i mentioned too so asks are still always welcome
