Reality check ☾︎ Prologue
Tumblr media
You were standing outside your school. It was about 9 pm and you were waiting for your boyfriend to finish his practice.
You were holding two chocolate milkshakes and some chicken nuggets from a nearby McDonald's. You picked them up right before his practice ended. Like you always do.
Even tho he was acting a bit weird today, you were still hoping that a Mcdonald's meal could fix whatever was bothering him.
But you still weren't prepared for what was about to happen.
You heard a bigger group of people getting out of school which means the practice has finally ended. After half an hour of waiting you headed towards the building.
"Huh?"
Your heart stopped. He came out of school with somebody. That wasn't something special really but the person he was with was. It was her. It was that someone who he told you about. "You don't need to worry about her name she's just a friend," Yeah right. JUST a friend.
She was clinging to his arm while they were giggling about something. And keeping strong eye contact. Not the type of eye contact you hold your friends... You could sense something more in those eyes... something more... He looked at her like he used to look at you. He was looking at her like he was looking at you just yesterday. YESTERDAY.
The feeling of emptiness filled your heart. How long has this been going on? How long has he been cheating on you with her?
He walked past you. He didn't even look at you. Like you weren't there. She then bumped into you and give you a nasty glare. The girl who took away your everything. They just passed you. Like it was nothing.
"Scara what the fuck?!" you turned around and screamed after them. "What's wrong with you? How long has this been going on?!" no response. They just kept walking away from you. You could feel tears slowly starting to form in your eyes.
"HELLO?? I'm TALKING TO YOU?!" no response.
So, it was over.
°°°
"WENDYYY WENDY LEFT ME ALOOOOOONEEE,"
"Hu stop it"
"What? But name you can finally relate to this song. Wendy left him, scara left you, he saw wendy with another guy, and you saw him with another gir-"
"OKAY AND? I still have the right to feel bad about it."
"No, you don't,"
"Huh?"
"He was a piece of shit and you know it, you deserve somebody way better than him, somebody, who WON'T cheat on you with your best friend..." you punched her in her shoulder.
"OUCH, NAME! Don't hit the driver,"
You grinned and looked out the window. What a great start of the summer. Couldn't be better. Really.
Hu tao grabbed one of the chicken nuggets you bought for Scara and ate it.
"How can you eat that?"
"Bro it's really good, you should try it,"
"But it's cold??"
"Okay and?"
She grabbed another one out of the box and ate it in one bite.
"Now, stop crying about him, babes, he's not worth it. He's short and his voice is high as shit."
"OH MY GOD,"
"Am I wrong tho?"
"..."
"That's what I thought,"
She pulled up in your driveway. "Now name. Don't do anything to yourself, it's not your fault,"
"I WASNT PLANNING ON DOING ANYTHING TO MYSLEF BRO WHAT ARE YOU SUGGESTING??"
"OKAY OKAY I'M JUST SAYING..."
"Well okay,"
Hu tao slowly drove away. You were alone. Again...

that's what i get for always spending time with him i guess lmao and yes ofc you're v v welcome to invade my inbox anytime you so wish <3
the two hu taos running around is sure to turn anyone's hair grey lol i can't for the life of me imagine the shenanigans you're both up to when put together /j
ah the social status gap ;;;; THAT'S 3 TROPES IN ONE HLDJSFLKSJDL OH MY LORD i can already taste the bitter angst at the tip of my tongue....
I THINK SO lol black + blue palette on ayato... and with all the signature fatui accessories... gosh. i really can't. any artists seeing this, if you ever want to draw it please tag me 🙏🏻 yeah no the moment he starts liking your presence you're locked in for life sis i am so sorry- /j
that's so fast sldkjfsldf i'm still on part 2 atm and i probably won't continue anytime soon cause of vacation plans sobsob
the rng gods blessed you with that one lollll nahh i am hopeless at building characters i tell you. i have no idea what i'm doing 80% of the time 🤣 i'm just here for the lore and music/voice and zhongli ✨
literally us:
Tumblr media
"a child holding a bomb is two terrible signs manifested into one." i am dead, deceased, wheezing, tearing up with laughter-
oh al haitham is coming home whether he wants it or not 😈 i think i might skip 3.1 banners entirely in favor of saving up... the remelting tablet has got me hooked on ayato's playstyle so i'm eyeing for when he reruns too. probably not gonna be soon but still... also i want scara when he comes out solely bc his jp va lmao (and on that note, maybe childe hmmm)
definitely, more chars >>>>>>> constellations!!! yeah that's actually a good thinking hahah being on guaranteed is fun but also stressful sometimes.... my brother is at 60 pity rn and he actually wanted dori but he doesn't dare to pull bc he doesn't like ganyu or kokomi's playstyle lol rip
oooo strawberry and passionfruit tea, those sounds gooooood <3
i imagine zhongli very much approves of our tea addiction lol
atp, you should put copying zhongli's speech to a tee as your hidden talent 😭 i guess, this is what happens when you write for him sm, huh?? + all that listening to his voicelines, uh-huhhh 👀 i cannot blame you for that will also be me when i get ayato 🚶 (the day i start using, "ah, yes. naturally." like him is the day you'd know i've gone off of the deep end /j)
i may make your hair grey, but you will love me either way, right??? *innocently bats eyelashes* (/lh) hu tao and lia in one room would fr be the most effective aging process because i'd honestly laugh at her jokes and then add on to them 😭 also, i vividly recall that one time when zhongli did his osmanthus wine idle and i just absentmindedly responded, "i think your friends are six feet under tho". THE SILENCE AFTERWARDS WAS SO LOUD. idk how i can be both chaotic and chill at the same time (is this where my venti side comes out /j)
a love triangle with ayato and thoma is such a concept 🙏 but with a more realistic twist to it and with that, comes the harsh realization that reality brings. after all, a fairytale-like love is pleasant to indulge in; an escape, an almost surreal-like lantern of hope but you can't keep your head buried in books forever, can you? reality where capitalism reigns (/j) will always call, whether you wish to turn a blind eye to it or not. MMM, REALITY, THE ENEMY OF DAYDREAMERS *hiss* 🤺 (/lh)
fatui!ayato, what an enigma (don't lock me up, please. at least, let rin jie visit me because she'll help bail me out /j) 👀 yeahhh, you can't escape him if he's locked onto you <//3 which makes me think about how he'd be as your ex... i feel like ayato would be that smiling yet salty on the inside + passive aggressive ex. LOLLL he would 100% sneakily trip your new partner in public and extend an oh-so gracious and concerned helping hand to them (wowww, talk about sneaky).
rin jie, the only thing keeping me going with the quests is the aranara's <//3 i just divided the quests neatly, so i followed the process of completing at least one or two quests per day — THIS WAS EXACTLY HOW I DID MY STUDYING AND I GOT WAR FLASHBACKS FROM MY LAST EXAMS 😭 i love it when i apply my studying technique to long genshin quests, hehehe 🥸🏃 (/s)
who cares about meta because even at ar 50+, we're just cruising thru 🏂 does your brother beg to differ with his op builds??? we shall abandon him. (/j) i still remember when you told me he started building diluc after the new skin was released LOLLL and speaking of !! have you read up on enkanomiya's lore yet??? because remember my boy, caelin?? i think i might post his profile soon 👀 but absolutely dw if you haven't, the lore related to enkanomiya is only in the trivia section at the very end~
YEAHHHH, the way we are saving for both al-haitham and ayato 🤝 no because i was so happy when i saw ayato in the fayz trials + remelting tablet event 😭 the way he does his normal attacks, hello??? it was enjoyable being an ayato main even for a few minutes, i'm getting a taste of my future <//3 but let's wish scara and al-haitham won't be on the same banner because that shall be your true test + you're softening up to childe, it aeems??? 👀

A Genshin Impact Story - Autumn Morning (Chapter 27
Zhongli x Original Female Character
"Chyou," "Let me go." "Not when you're angry and upset." I try to pull free but his grip is iron tight. "Zhongli, please. I don't want to make a scene." "Then don't and look at me." His words echo mine from the kitchen this week. I suck in a breath and look up at him. There is no anger on his face, only a gentle smile. "I am sorry that I snapped at you. I was confused as to why you were out of the house and running through the streets. I am also sorry that I forgot about your appointment with Dr. Baizhu today." I could tell he was being sincere and not just trying to alleviate the tension. "Come back and sit down with me and enjoy the end of the festival. I am sad I didn't get to spend any of my time off with you." I hear more cheering from the crowds around us as the firework display reaches its climax. "Okay," I say, coming to my decision. He smiles, letting go of my arm to take my hand, leading me back to the restaurant. "You did see her after all, Zhongli." Hu Tao laughs as we join her.
"I did. Seems she was looking for me." Zhongli's lie was effortless and I was thankful for it. No one needed to know my true motive. "Tea, my star?" he then asks me. "Oh, yes please." I didn't realize the chill that the evening brought and I was beginning to shiver. After he handed me a cup of tea, he pulled me closer to him allowing me to feed off his warmth. Hu Tao took her leave, saying she had things to do, but in truth, I knew she wanted to give Zhongli and I some alone time. I'll thank her later. "Oh, before I forget. You left this bag when you went running off earlier." I look at the bag in question and curse at myself for leaving it there. "Thank you. I would have been quite upset if I lost it." Zhongli raises an eyebrow in curiosity. "What would have you in such a state?" I blush, trying to hide the bag. He snakes it free of my grip and looks inside. "Is this?" He pulls out the stuffed dragon. "Is this supposed to be me?" I nod. "Is it for the baby?"
"Yes. I wanted them to have something that reminded them of you." I expected him to laugh but instead, he looked at it lovingly. "I think it is a beautiful gift for them. I am sure they will love it." He puts the dragon back into the back before handing it back to me. I lean back into his chest pulling the warm cup of tea close as we watch the end of the firework display. I hear him hmm contently as his hand comes to rest on my stomach. The baby kicked in response and I smiled. The baby knows exactly who its father is even if Zhongli can't feel the kick yet. "Something funny?" Zhongli asks. "The baby kicks your hand the moment you put it on my stomach." "Really?" I nod. "I can't wait to feel it." he pauses and I feel the geo-energy pulse from his hand. It was soothing. "What?" I ask but he shakes his head. "It was nothing. I was letting the baby know I was here." I lean back happily as the last of the fireworks go off. It was a beautiful way to end the festival. Now if only I could get rid of the feeling of someone watching me.

Breeding Kink Pt. 2 | Dragon!Zhongli
Tumblr media
Pairing: Zhongli x fem!reader
Genre: SMUTTTT!!
Words: 5.2k
A/N: Oh god i have no braincells anymore. Zhongli fcked with my braincells as well. Here ya go. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Happy Birthday as well.
Warning: THIS IS AN 18+ FIC, SO MINORS OUT THERE, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. PLEASE READ AT YOUR OWN DISCRETION.
PART 1 HERE
*
It was already deep into the night.
The last of the busy market kiosks has died down, the golden glow of their lanterns flickered off for the day, while the late-night loiterers had gone to rest at their station as silence and the sound of crickets settled in. The harbor has truly gone to sleep after a rough day’s work, and will rise once again at early dawn.
Yet inside the bedchambers of a certain married couple, things were still heating up.
“Z-Zhongli…! Please…!”
You held on to the silken sheets tightly with face flushed and sweating. Every now and then, a moan would escape your lips, savoring the moment where ecstasy was at its peak. It felt good—really good—as your husband Zhongli thrusted sharply into you.
“YN…” he growled beside your ear as he bent down, kissing the bare skin of your shoulders. “YN…I’m close…haa…”
He could feel all the pleasure welling up inside of him. You were holding on to him like a vice grip, as if wringing him out of his seed and coaxing him to come inside you. Zhongli felt his dick twitch at the thought of filling you up, pushing him closer to his climax.
“Aahhh…so g-good….mmnn….! Zhongli…! I’m gonna—”
“My love…I-I…!”
—!
“Mama? Papa…?”
A knock at their door, followed by a small voice stopped the both of them in their tracks.
Oh no, not again…
Looking at each other, you and Zhongli immediately scrambled to compose yourselves.
“Yuqing…ah, please stay where you are—"
“Honey, just a second! Let me…let me just find my slippers—”
Hurriedly, you grabbed your discarded robe on the floor and put on your sandals, while your husband raced to the adjacent bathroom to relieve himself. “Love, I’ll be there in a moment. Please take Yuqing back to her room in the meantime,” was what he said.
As you opened the door, you were greeted by curious amber eyes—the same as her father’s—who seemingly stared at you as if trying to assess the situation. She was carrying her favorite plushie, a geovishap hatchling, for some reason, while you knelt down and caressed her cheeks gently.
“Yuqing? What’s wrong?” you asked her, “It’s way past your bedtime.”
“Something jumped from the window, Mama…! I…I don’t want to go back!” She replied, almost in a whisper as she held on to the plushie tightly.
Your daughter’s words immediately caught your attention. It could just be a squirrel, or maybe something more dangerous. Nevertheless, you have to go check it out.
“Alright, honey. Let’s see what it is,” you replied as you carried her on your arms. “Mama and Papa can easily hunt monsters down!”
Yuqing blinked at you. “Hm? But where’s Papa?”
“Oh, uh…he just needs to pee,” you replied awkwardly, not totally forgetting what you two were doing a while ago.
By the time you arrived at Yuqing’s bedroom, you were greeted by a calico cat which was carrying her own young into the room, staring at you both with scrutinizing eyes. It seemed to have taken a liking to the room and decided to take shelter there. You instantly knew what was the matter.
“It’s a mama cat!” Yuqing exclaimed happily, jumping from your grasps as you muttered “be careful!” at the ecstatic child.
“Don’t come too close to it, honey,” you told her, sitting on the bed as you watched your daughter crouch near the animal to observe it. “The mama cat doesn’t like it if you touch her kittens. She might scratch you.”
“Oh…” your daughter murmured disappointingly, and then returned to your side when she had enough watching.
Looking down to her, you could really see how much Yuqing resembled Zhongli—the same eyes, the same dignified yet gentle countenance. Her hair was a little lighter but it’ll probably turn as dark as Zhongli’s when she’s older. You smiled at the thought of watching your daughter grow—a few years ago, she was still so small and fragile as you held her for the first time, but now, she’ll be turning six, and then eleven, and then little will you know, she has become such a fine lady.
Pulling her into an embrace, you caught the child off guard as you smothered her with kisses.
“Mama!” She protested, but was giggling at the same time. “Mama…what are you doing!”
“I just love my dearest Yuqing!” you exclaimed, but then stopped to pat her head gently. “Now, are you still scared?”
The dark-haired girl shook her head with a smile. “I’m ok now, Mama! It was just a cat.”
“Alright,” you smiled as you began tucking her in again. “We’ll talk in the morning what we’ll do with the cat, but right now, it’s time for you to sleep. Little girls need to sleep for them to grow big, okay?”
“Understood! Good night then, Mama!” Yuqing replied underneath her blanket, as you gently soothed her head. The whole time, you continued to do it until she had finally fallen asleep, soft snores coming from the small child which made you smile warmly.
By the time you returned to your bedroom, you could see that the bathroom lights were still on. You were waiting for Zhongli to swing by Yuqing’s room earlier but for some reason, he’s been caught up in the bathroom this whole time. It also seemed like your husband had heard you enter the room and began calling for you.
“Dear…! Perhaps you could come here for a moment?”
Curious about what was going on, you then stepped into the bathroom and only to be greeted by a much larger, more draconic Zhongli. You could only stare at the large protruding horns on his head, the scales on his arms and legs, and the tail that was swinging back and forth between his legs. Not to mention the large thing on his crotch that made you do a double take at the mere sight of it.
Zhongli closed his eyes as soon as he noticed your stunned expression. Despite how he looks, he still had a bit of his self-control intact.
“YN, I think we have a problem here,” he told you as calmly as he could.
“I might be going into heat again.”
*
It was finally D-Day.
The both of you spent the last week trying to prepared for this, because unlike the first time, you had responsibilities. For one, Yuqing had to be taken elsewhere and away from the carnage. It will not bode well if your child is there while your husband is being one horny dragon.
The people both of you know where highly dangerous though. Among the rejected list was Childe, Hu Tao, and Venti, with the last one loudly lamenting how he couldn’t have fun with Yuqing in Mondstadt. Keqing and Ningguang would be great but they’re busy with work, while the adepti wouldn’t have enough skills and patience to babysit a child for a week, even if it was the child of the former geo archon. That’s why in the end, you asked Lumine and Aether to take care of your daughter for a while—they were at least, safe enough not to put Yuqing in danger. Hopefully.
On the other hand, you had to prepare yourself for another bang of your life. The first time had caught you off guard, but this time, you were prepared to satiate your half-dragon husband to the fullest. You had also prepared yourself to conceive another child. Well, you really were planning to, but it was the night when Yuqing interrupted you two.
“Dear?” A head peered into the kitchen—or rather, a head with two horns.
Zhongli’s dragon features seemed to be staying longer and longer the nearer his heat approaches. Luckily enough, it wasn’t much of a rare sight in Liyue.
“Oh, morning, Zhongli. Should I brew you some tea?” you asked, busying yourself with breakfast for your family of three.
“It’s alright. I’ll do it,” he replied as he stepped in beside you, preparing the hot water to be boiled.
For a while, the both of you stayed like this in silence. You were concentrating on not getting the congee burned while he was trying to get the proper temperature of the water.
In the end, it was Zhongli who broke the silence.
“Will you be alright later?”
You whipped your head to his direction. “H-huh? What? Me? Oh, I’ll be fine!”
“Are you sure?” he asked, turning to you and caressing your cheeks with the tip of his sharp claws. “If only I could assure you that it will be painless.”
“Zhongli,” you called his name firmly as you flipped an egg. “You have never hurt me, and you never will. I survived the first time, right? We have Yuqing running around after all.”
Your words seemed to have magically melted his worries away, no matter how tacky you thought there were. But you didn’t know that Zhongli simply needed your assurance that it will be okay, otherwise, he’d go into a spiral of worry. Comforted by your presence, he crept his arms around you, hugging you from your side.
“Ah, my wife…my lovely wife…” he muttered happily as he nestled his head on your shoulder, savoring your scent and your warmth. “You’re really my wife…”
You giggled at his sudden show of playfulness. “That I am, sir.”
For Zhongli to be this affectionate, it seemed his heat has really gotten to him. Normally, he’ll reserve these kinds of actions for the both of you late at night, but right now, he’s incredibly clingly and wouldn’t stop following you wherever you go. For the most part, he really loves taking in your scent and running his hands around your body.
Soon enough, you hear the loud and rapid padding of feet on the floor as it dashed towards the kitchen where the two of you were. In a few moments, Zhongli was face to face with his own daughter who grinned gleefully at him.
“Mama, Papa!” Yuqing exclaimed as she clung to you like her father.
“Now young lady, what brings you here early in the morning?” Zhongli asked mischievously, still hugging you and resting his chin on your shoulder.
“Lumine and Aether! They’re coming right? They’re coming!” she almost shouted, arm tightly adhered to your leg.
“In about half an hour, darling,” you replied. “Now, are you both aware that I’m trying to cook here? I can’t move!”
Instead of letting go however, Zhongli tightened his hold of you while nuzzling deeper on your shoulder while Yuqing did the same on your leg. You grumbled. “Like father, like daughter.”
Giggling, Yuqing glanced at her father who was tightly clinging to you like she was.
“Papa, do you like Mama?”
Zhongli, for a moment, smiled at her warmly before replying. “Very much so, my dear.”
You could only hide your flustered expression at his words. But of course, it made your heart skip a beat, even after marrying him and having his child, Zhongli could still make you feel this way with just a few words.
It was a good thing that Yuqing changed the subject before your heart could explode.
“Papa! You have horns!” she exclaimed and pointed at Zhongli’s head.
“Oh? Is this your first time seeing it?” he asked as he knelt to the floor. “Do you want to touch it?”
Zhongli could definitely see his daughter’s amber eyes sparkling with curiosity as she slowly inched her way closer to him. Yuqing may look like him, but she definitely has your temperament. The way she sees the world with so much wonder and excitement reminded Zhongli of you.
“Can I, Papa? Can I?” she asked, her small fingers reaching out for them.
“Yes, you may, my dear.”
Bending down, Zhongli felt Yuqing glide her fingers at smooth surface of the horns. “Be careful though, the tips should be sharp enough to wound you.”
Filled with wonder, the child gazed at Zhongli with amazement. “Papa, are you a dragon?!”
“I can become one.”
“Does…! Does that mean I can be a dragon too?!”
Aahh…You smiled at the two of them as you finished the last of your cooking. “Alright now. Let’s have breakfast. The twins will be here soon if we don’t hurry up!”
*
“Aether! Lumine!”
The dark-haired girl immediately ran towards the twins right after you opened the door to greet them, incredibly excited for the week ahead. Aether scooped her into his arms right away as Lumine pinched her cheek for being so adorable.
“We’re extremely grateful to you two for agreeing to take care of Yuqing,” you told them bashfully. “It was hard to think of anyone reliable and willing to do it in such a short notice.”
“It’s okay, YN,” Lumine replied, “We’d love to have Yuqing around anyway! Right, Aether?”
Distracted with playing with Yuqing, Aether turned to Lumine who was looking at him pointedly. “Huh? Oh! Oh yeah! We’re gonna play a lot!”
“Let’s play house again, Aether!” Yuqing interrupted, “I’ll be the mommy, Lumine will be the aunty and you’re the daddy!”
A large, tall shadow loomed over the twins from behind you. “I prefer if you’d arrange the designations in a different way.”
“Oh, Zhongli.” You turned to your husband who was menacing enough to make the male twin tremble like a leaf, especially in his half-dragon form.
“M-Mr. Z-Zhongli!” Aether immediately felt a chill run down his spine. If anything, he felt an overprotective dad is way scarier than all the monsters he battled so far.
“Good morning Mr. Zhongli,” Lumine greeted the man calmly with a smile. “You don’t have to worry about anything! Yuqing can be the mommy, I’ll be the daddy and Aether’s the dog.”
“Good.”
You could only smile awkwardly at the whole exchange. If this continues on, Zhongli might change his mind and insist his daughter to stay.
“Alright, here’s all her clothes for the week as well as other stuff she needs,” you interrupted as you shoved a bag on Lumine’s hands. “Please don’t hesitate to call us if something happens.”
Lumine only glanced at you with a plastered smile. Bothering them isn’t something she’d really want to do.
“We will, YN,” Aether replied and then exchanged looks with his sister. “I think it’s time for us to take off now though.”
“Alright. Come on, Yuqing, let mama and papa kiss you goodbye,” you told them as you reached out for your daughter who easily climbed out of Aether’s arms.
Crouching down, you and Zhongli embraced your daughter tightly, kissing her cheeks several times until she began protesting. With Zhongli chuckling, he patted her head gently while reminding her of several things.
“Now young lady, be of your best behavior. Don’t make Lumine and Aether worry too much.
“I will, Papa! Can I have almond tofu as a reward then?”
Zhongli smiled at her amusingly. “Alright. Do we have a contract then?”
“Yes! It’s a pinky promise!” Yuqing held out her pinky and linked it with Zhongli’s, who was careful not to scratch her with his claws.
“Don’t forget to drink your vitamins and eat your vegetables, ok? And sleep on time. Be careful not to go anywhere without telling Lumine or Aether!”
Yuqing sighed, “Yes, yes, Mama. I will.”
Ruffling her head, you finally kissed her forehead while Zhongli did the same.
“Don’t forget to have fun!”
As she ran off to Lumine’s side, the both of you stood up.
“We’ll be going then. See you after a week!” Aether exclaimed as they began to take the steps down the porch.
“Bye, bye, Mama, Papa!”
With that, the three of them disappeared and went off their way.
Glancing at your husband, it had finally dawned on you that this was only the beginning.
“So, should we get started?”
He asked, and you froze.
*
“W-wait…! Zhongli!”
“What’s the matter?”
Your husband asked you, as if he wasn’t pinning you against the wall, nuzzling against your neck as he took in your scent. You could feel his warm breath against your pulse, his hands on your waist as he continued to pepper small, faint kisses on your skin.
“It’s…it’s the middle of the day…a-and…and…!”
“You never had an issue with that… are you getting shy, my love?”
You could sense the teasing tone in his voice as he nibbled on your ear, without ever the intention of removing himself from you. Flustered, you pursed your lips as you bit down a moan.
“N-No, I’m not! It’s just…!”
“It’s just what?”
Zhongli smirked at your unexpected bashfulness, urging him to tease you more to see more of that adorable expression of yours.
“I-I mean, we just sent off Yuqing…and they might return or something—”
“Oh, they won’t.” Zhongli gave your jaw a small hickey. “Or at least I’m sure they are well aware not to bother us.”
“H-Huh…?”
Without furnishing you an answer, he simply knelt down before you and wrapped his arms around your thighs to hold you down. Looking down, you could see him smirking mischievously at you, making you gulp.
“Why don’t we get you ready, my love?”
Slipping his head underneath your skirt, you instantly felt his lips on your thighs as he kissed his way up towards your core. You could feel yourself melting at the heat of the situation; the sensation of his warm tongue prodding your clothed entrance.
“Z-Zhongli…! Mnhh…!”
Even with your underwear on, you could easily feel him stimulate your sensitive clit as he circled his tongue around before sucking it. Your knees buckled immediately as you found your hands holding on to his horns, careful not to pull too much.
“You’re so drenched here, YN,” he told you, his voice vibrating against your sensitive parts.
“D-Don’t say that! O-Ohh…! Fuck!”
You couldn’t even tell him off properly as soon as he slid of your underwear and began to tease your hole with his tongue. You could feel him go in and out as his warmth filled you up. But it wasn’t enough, of course. After getting a taste of the real thing, nothing could satiate you other than him.
“Zhongli…oh god! Ah—!”
Without stopping, he continued to lap on your juices and stimulate you until you were at the edge of orgasm. You could feel your legs grow weak and the only thing keeping you from falling to the floor was his tight grip on you as he ruthlessly ate you out like a hungry man.
Peeking from underneath your skirt, Zhongli watched as he gradually pushed you closer and closer to your climax. His bright amber eyes filled with lust as he stared at your half-lidded eyes and trembling lips; crying his name out loud over and over again. He wanted to take you then and there, push his cock inside you until you were filled to the brim; his hard on was excruciatingly painful inside his pants, but he had to be patient and get you ready for him.
“Come for me, love,” he muttered, circling his tongue around your clit once more and sucking it.
It only took an instant for you to shiver and tremble in pleasure as you felt your orgasm wash over you like a tidal wave. Your skin felt like a surge of electricity passed over you as your knees buckled and your arms held on to his shoulders to stop you from falling over.
Removing himself from underneath your skirt, Zhongli then scooped your weak figure and carried you on his arms towards the sofa. He had you sitting on his lap facing him while you encircled your arms around his shoulders and waiting for your high to calm down.
For a while, the both of you stayed like this. Zhongli kept on giving you small pecks on your neck and shoulders, slowly divesting you of your clothes as he went around your body. It was slow and sensual; unlike the first time he was in heat.
“H-Hey…you too…” you purred, kissing the underside of his jaw.
He only hummed at you; his hands busy with getting your skirt off of you. “Yes?”
“Let me undress you too.”
Zhongli reigned in his urges as soon as he heard your suggestion. His face flushed as he watched you slowly remove his tie and unbutton his shirt to reveal his toned chest. Groaning at the feeling of your hands on his bare skin, he knew he only had a few moments left before all his self-control could fly off the window. But it was incredible, he could only feel himself grow even harder.
Soon enough, you were already on the floor kneeling before him. Zhongli felt himself tense up at what you were about to do, but had to strength left to stop you from doing it. Silently, he watched as you glide your hands on his things and then to the prolific bulge on his pants. You could feel him poke you earlier while you were sitting on his lap, which gave you the idea of blowing him off.
Gradually, you undid his belt and pants and finally take out his monstrosity of a cock. Zhongli gave a guttural groan as he felt your hands pump his shaft tentatively, his claws biting at the soft leather of the sofa.
It wasn’t the first time you saw his cock, and while it was impressive in normal days, the one right before you was definitely befitting of a dragon. You hesitated.
H-how did this thing fit inside of me before?!
Nevertheless, you continued on. It was massive but it was definitely hot, seeing Zhongli sitting there in front of you with a flushed face and his cock out. Timidly, you gave the tip a small peck as you slowly allowed your tongue to glide over it.
“Y-YN…that’s…!”
Empowered by his reactions, you then licked the underside of his shaft until it was glistening wet with your saliva. Eventually, precum began to ooze out of the tip and curiously, you began licking it as well, sucking it in the process.
“Ughh…! F-fuck…YN…! I’m really—”
Trying to bob your head up and down, you could only fit so much of him inside your mouth as your jaw tried to accommodate his size. But you felt your core tighten up and become wet, thinking that this cock will eventually fill you up to the brim with his cum.
Zhongli was rapidly losing it. He wanted to cum, but he wanted to cum inside of you and have you bear his child. He wanted to see your cunt filled with his seed until it oozes out of you, and then plug his cock back inside of you to fill you up once again.
No, this won’t do.
“YN…! Y-YN…! P-Please stop! Mnnh—!”
He held your chin to make you stop—the way your lips left a trail of saliva to his dick tempted him push it back inside your mouth—but he had to end it there, right before he came inside your mouth. Slowly he guided you towards him; confused as to why he stopped you right before he was about to come, you moved back to his lap where he gently caressed you and wiped his fluids from your cheeks.
“Let me kiss you, my love.”
In a soft and gentle kiss, Zhongli captured your lips. You could feel it radiating with love and warmth as he slid his lips over yours, his tongue darting inside, as if trying to fill his senses of you and only you. You both kissed until your lips were swollen, until you felt him rub his shaft against you unconsciously, making you moan in the kiss.
“Z-Zhongli…” you gasped for air. “Are you…holding yourself back?”
With those amber eyes, he gazed at you seriously—all the while keeping your lips closed to his.
“Is it a sin to treasure you so much?”
His words caught you off guard, but eventually, you smiled. Zhongli never failed to express his love for you. He was gentle and kind, a good husband and an even better father. Brushing a few stray locks of hair from his sweat-riddled face, you kissed his forehead as a way to show how much you appreciated his thoughtfulness.
“Thank you for thinking about me, Zhongli,” you remarked, “But right now, I really want you to let loose and fill me up completely with you.”
With eyes blown wide, Zhongli felt himself twitch at your words—his arousal no longer hidden. Grabbing the back of your head, he then crashed his lips against yours in a searing kiss lidden with passion and lust. He bit and licked on your lips while his hand groped your full breasts, pinching at your nipples to make you gasp against his lips.
“Then so be it,” he smirked. “I’ll make you completely mine.”
Guiding his shaft to your slick entrance, he pushed himself inside of you in one go—making you squeal at the sudden sensation of being penetrated. It took some time for you to accommodate his large cock, but eventually, your cunt was drenched so much that it hadn’t become much of an issue.
“Z-Zhongli…! Oh god—fuck! …s-so big…!”
You began riding him, moving up and down on his lap while Zhongli continued to make you feel good by playing with your breasts. You could feel his sharp claws make indentations on your skin, but not hard enough to draw blood, but it was a strange sensation which only heightened the pleasure of having his dragon cock thrusted inside of you.
“Hnnghh!! Y-YN…!” Zhongli winced at the sudden tightness, and began to distract himself from cumming by licking on your pert nipples until they were red and sensitive.
With pleasure attacking you from different parts, you could only mewl as Zhongli gradually turned you into a lewd mess as you felt him twitch inside of you. Soon enough, he’ll be cumming inside of you, and that would the first among many others for this entire week. If his first heat said anything, Zhongli wouldn’t stop mating with you until you were fertilized with his seed.
The thought did nothing but coax you to your climax. You could feel yourself tighten around him as he pounded into you mercilessly, your juices mixing together. Zhongli was also close. He was already extremely aroused, and it wouldn’t take long for him to climax.
“A-Ah—! YN….! L-love…I’m…I’m close…!”
He muttered with face flushed and breath ragged.
“Yes…! Oh god, yes…! P-Please, Zhongli…! Ah—! F-fill me…fill me up…!”
In just a few thrusts, the both of you came at the same time. He pushed deep inside of you and came; his warmth filling you up until he was spent. You were still shivering with pleasure when he pulled you in for a kiss, his tongue once again ravishing you with so much intensity that it could be argued that he made you come once again with just a kiss.
Reeling in from the afterglow, you could still feel him hot and hard inside of you, as his breathed hard against your neck. You were no different though—the way your mind was still covered with a haze of lust, or the way his cock inside of you felt so good as it hit a particularly good spot. The aphrodisiac you got from Dr. Baizhu seemed to be quite effective.
Removing yourself from his embrace, you staggered to stand up with your limp legs, but managed to crawl on fours right beside him.
Zhongli was both bewildered and disappointed to have your warm body away from him, but when you pushed your ass before him and gazed at him with sultry eyes, he felt his heart rate pick up the pace.
It was embarrassing to show your cunt dripping with your juices and his cum, but you didn’t really care much. You were too entrenched with arousal to feel embarrassment.
“Z-Zhongli…let’s…let’s do it again…?”
Grabbing your ass, he spread you out even more, and even slapped your butt lightly. Zhongli could definitely see his cum dripping out of you and promptly scooped it up with his finger and pushed it back inside of you.
“P-Please…! Zhongli…I—!”
He smirked. “Very well.”
Without warning, he slid himself back inside of you; making you bite back the remaining words. It felt incredible having him inside. It was hot, as if you were burned and electrified at the same time. Your mouth hardly had the time to close as he continued to piston in and out of you.
This time however, Zhongli began playing with your oversensitive clit, groaning loudly at how you tightened your walls around him. You squealed in delight as his cock hit a particularly good spot, making you cum sooner than expected.
“Oh…o-oh god! Z-Zhongli….! Zhongli…! A-ah…!”
Yet despite your premature climax, he continued on—thrusting inside of you and prolonging your orgasm. It was so good you could feel tears pooling the side of your eyes as he plowed your sensitive cunt.
“You came, didn’t you?” he asked, his lips once again on yours. “I’ll make you come again soon enough.”
True to his promised, Zhongli picked up his pace and fucked you as roughly as he could. You knew there will be bruises after this but the pleasure was greater than anything for you to care about. The way his cock just fills you up, hitting your g-spot over and over again relentlessly, or the way his groans just sends shivers down your spine.
“F-Fuck…! Fuck…!Z-Zhongli! I’m—! I’m gonna…!”
“Yes, love...! Haa….come for me…! I’ll fill you up with my seed…”
Once again, you came from the overstimulation—your arms failing as the pleasure was greater than anything you experienced so far.
“F-fuck…YN…a-ah—!”
With that, Zhongli suddenly bit your shoulder as he pumped more of his seed inside of you, which only overflowed from your hole. You mewled at the mixture of pain and pleasure, unable to distinguish the one from the other, but you knew it felt extremely good.
Zhongli was silent for a while as he lapped on the bitemarks he had made. He was glad that he hadn’t bit too hard, but for some reason, he also liked how you were marked as his.
“Allow me to take you to the bedroom,” he whispered to you as you nodded your head groggily. Sleep was beginning to approach you fast.
Unsheathing himself from you, you winced at the sudden feeling of emptiness. But it was immediately remedied by the feeling of his warm body near you as he carried you to your shared bedroom. Slowly, he laid you down on the soft mattress and eventually joined you there, embracing you from the back.
“Let’s rest for now,” he muttered right before your eyelids fell heavy. “We’ll need it for later.”
And he was right.
For the next few days, the two of you tainted every room inside the house (well, except for Yuqing’s bedroom).
From the kitchen where Zhongli fucked you from behind, bending you on the counter as he emptied himself inside of you—to the bathroom where cleaning up turned into another round where he slowly entered you while underwater—or on the floor, which was only because you couldn’t reach the bed because he was too horny for his own good.
It was only then, as the both of you rested from the last round which took all night and early morning, that you realized how much time had passed.
“Mama! Papa! I’m back!”
Your eyes shot open, and glanced at Zhongli who was staring at you as well.
“Oh no.”

Special things that they do with you :)
Tumblr media
Hi hello :) I'm pretty new here... so if things turn out weird here I apologise :P I'm just writing fanfics for fun and I hope I can meet new people ♡.
Gender neutral! <3
Characters: Yoimiya, Hu Tao, Yae Miko, Ei, Ganyu
Warnings: None :)
Fluff?
😟 I'm so bad at writing fanfics please forgive me
Tumblr media
Yoimiya!
-Sweetest baby ever I swear,,,
-I need this in my life <3
-Please take care of her
-If you hurt her I will be right outside your door >:(
-You’d definitely feel so loved, and the luckiest person ever
“Ah! There you are! I have been looking for you everywhere!” Yoimiya says as she grips onto your wrist, dragging you along the grey path of Inazuma city. “Yoi? What are you doing?-” She laughed lightly upon hearing your question. “Oh? What am I doing indeed! It’s a surprise~ You may have a train of questions speeding through your head right now, like ‘Choo! Choo!’ but trust me, you’ll love the surprise! Hehe~”
She pulls you back into the house and hums a joyful tone as she saunters around the house with you trailing right behind her. She stops abruptly at your door and turns around and gives you a wide smile and a tiny wink. “See for yourself!~” she makes an exaggerated gasp as you put your hand onto the doorknob, and you laugh at her adorable attempt to make it seem dramatic. “Aw come on already I’m so excited to see your reaction! Quick! Open the door!” She whines as you open the door slowly, amused at her excitement.
You take a look into your room and you break into the sweetest smile ever. Your room was tidied up! Additionally, you noticed that your room was decorated with some pictures of you and Yoimiya. You looked around and laughed. There was a small tent set up with your favourite snacks and drinks, and there was a fresh bouquet of sakura blooms. Its scent filled the room and Yoimiya smiled. “Come! Sit here! We have all day to do whatever you want!” She rambles on about how much she misses spending time with you as she intertwines her fingers onto yours gently. You never wanted this day to come to an end. <3
Hu Tao!
-She’s so cute omg…
-She’ll do anything to make you happy <3
- Please make her happy too <3
- “Darling…”
You woke up to a strange sense of excitement. You could smell a strong… sweet scent, and it made you so hungry. You immediately jerked out of bed to the thought of food but then realised that something was off. You lived with Hu Tao but she should be working… So who else could have access to the kitchen?! You gasped at the thought and left the room cautiously and sneaked your way into the living room when you heard a familiar voice; “Good morning, darling! How was your sleep?~” You looked into the kitchen and saw Hu Tao making pancakes and waffles.
“But… Tao, aren’t you supposed to be working at the parlour today?” Hu Tao turns around, flipping the pancake in the pan and smirks. “Aww… darling! Sending me back to work already? Come on, I just took a day off to spend time with my most beloved, you can’t just say that! I was so happy when I saw that you aren’t working today and I took a day off! Turns out you just want me to go back to work…” She pouts, as she placed the fluffy pancake on a plate, together with the chocolate waffle that had a perfect scoop of vanilla ice cream. She passes the plate to you, giving you puppy eyes, expecting a reply from you.
You took the plate and shook your head vigorously. “No! I didn’t mean that, Tao.. I was just.. surprised! You don’t usually take a day off, and you’re a really busy person so I though-” Your sentence was interrupted by Hu Tao embracing you tightly. “Darling~ I love you so much… I’d do anything to spend more time with you. Come! Eat with me! These pancakes and waffles aren’t going to eat themselves up, hehe!~”
Ei!
-ANGELLL
-thighs. 😋
-🥺🥺
"Well, I was thinking that it's about time I leave the Plane of Euthymia to visit Inazuma, would you like to accompany me on a walk? We could visit Yae at the shrine." Ei says as she places the plate of dango on her lap. You gave her a glance, surprised at her sudden request, however you nodded your head in agreement.
Ei smiles sweetly, sliding her slender hand into yours. You felt her soft skin brush gently against yours and your heart fluttered. "E-Ei! Are you sure you want to hold my hand? Everyone would see and they'll say things about our relationshi-"
"Hmm? Is that so? Why, I would love to tell the whole world that I am indeed in a romantic relationship with such a lovely person like you~" Ei interrupts, squeezing your hands. You couldn't help but to blush at her statement. "Come on, let's walk around together. Ignore what everyone says. It's just you and me today, alright?"
You nodded your head, and smiled. Ei was such an angel <3
Yae Miko
-Mummy? Sorry I mean, mum- sorry, mummy? Mummy?? Sorry. Sorry, mummy??
-y'all I would like my new necklace to be her thighs /hj 😍😍
-PLEASE THE TEASING
You were reading a book you just purchased from Yae's Publishing House when you felt someone trace their fingers down your back. It sent shivers down your spine, and you were to turn around when at the corner of your eyes, you noticed a familiar shade of pink hair drooping down your shoulder. "Why, I couldn't help but to notice my favourite person reading the novel that I personally handpicked~ What brings you to this place? Hmm?" You felt the warm breath gushing against your ear. You blushed and backed away. "Y-Yae! W-What was that for?!"
Yae laughs lightly. "Aw, don't be such a spoilsport, I just wanted to tease you. Are there really any boundaries between us two? I thought we shared quite the intimate and romantic relationship~" She says, cupping your cheeks and squeezing them.
"Nouhh, I was jhust shurprised! Youh sqared muh!" You rambled, words muffled by Yae squeezing your cheeks. "Mhm. I see. My, how adorable you are, trying to explain yourself with your cheeks getting squeezed like this~"
She removes her hands from your cheeks and laughs. "My, what a sight that was. Would you mind following me to Tenshukaku today? Ei wants me to get a few souvenirs for her, and it would be refreshing to have my beloved accompany me around these stores. You may also join me in the Plane of Euthymia with Ei. I'm sure she wouldn't mind someone as adorable as you joining me today~"
Ganyu
-Cocogoat (Quoted by Qiqi)
-She's so cute <3
-She definitely has fluffy hair 😋
"Um, love… do you wish to go out on a walk with me?" Ganyu asks, blushing as she played with her hands. You stared at her, surprised. Ganyu was usually so busy, but today she's asking you to join her on a walk? "Uh… it's okay if you didn't want to, I'm free today so I thought we could perhaps go for a walk…" She says shyly after noticing your expression.
"No… it's not like that at all! I'd love to go on a walk with you, I was just surprised, you're usually busy." You reassure her. Ganyu's expression brightened and she smiles sweetly. Both of you went further away from the bustling Liyue Harbor to a quiet area, filled with glaze lilies and many other flowers. The scent of the beautiful flowers filled your nose. Ganyu giggles as she picks up a few glaze lilies and makes a flower crown, and places it gently on your head. "You're so adorable in this~" She teases.
"I usually come to this place to relieve stress, and I felt that perhaps you'd like this place as much as I would, and I decided to invite you along." She continues softly, interlocking her hands onto yours. "Let's walk around, I hope you'll like the view."
Tumblr media
Aaaaa.... Sorry if this turned out wacky and stuff, Neither am I experienced at fanfiction writing nor am I good at writing in general, but I really hope my fanfics can at least make someone's day better <3.

Adeptus' Flowers in Wangsheng Funeral Parlor
Rating: Teen and Up. Pairing: Xiao x Aether Warnings: Minor descriptions of blood and wounds, stubborn boys/men, Hu Tao intentionally being a menace(she has an end goal). Notes: No Summary because I don't want to spoil the surprises lol. But Basically the Boys are both unwell and Hu Tao has a plan. Zhongli gets sent to Inazuma.
Wanghsu Inn, Liyue, Teyvat:
Xiao had had enough of this. It was hindering his ability to protect Liyue. It was hindering his ability to think. It was filling him with unnecessary panic and adrenaline at times where all he wanted to do was rest.
"It" was sunflowers.
Sunflowers that were growing inside of him, and coming out his mouth and nose.
Needless to say, he was irritated. He didn't know where they were coming from or what sparked them, and it was beginning to really tick him off. He was always pulling flowers out after battles, or sneezing or coughing petals all over his favorite spots.
The only upside he could think of was that the flowers reminded him of Aether. Reminiscent of sunshine, but stronger than they looked.
He coughed again, and his brow furrowed in frustration. Even his Karmic-quelling medications had done nothing against the increasing amounts of flowers.
It was time to find Rex La- Zhongli. It was time to find Zhongli.
Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, Liyue Harbor:
Xiao turned towards the door as it opened, his face impassive as Hu Tao jumped in surprise. He kneeled as Zhongli entered the room.
"Why are you in my office?" Hu Tao said, her voice a little higher than usual, but steady. Xiao did not miss how she'd summoned her own spear, but his focus was mainly on Zhongli. Mainly Zhongli's boots.
"Hello, Xiao. You really should have knocked, but what brings you here?" Zhongli asked, pulling Xiao up from the ground.
Xiao narrowed his eyes at Hu Tao, who was looking between the two of them. Zhongli waved his hand dismissively. "She's going to figure it out sooner or later, just explain your situation. Are you out of karmic relief medications?"
Xiao shook his head, and in doing so, irritated his throat, causing him to cough up yet another fragment of sunflower. "This. This is the problem. And it won't go away!"
Zhongli looked at the flower on the floor, while Hu Tao, for once, looked horrified.
"What the hell?" She said, drawing closer. "Is he okay? Why is he here? And who is he exactly?" She asked rapidly, circling both of them.
Zhongli answered her patiently. "This is Xiao, you could say he is a formal employee of mine. He still prefers to do his contractual obligation despite the contract having ended, but it keeps him satisfied. I suspect he came to see me for my expertise on his problem. As for whether he will be okay or not... Hm."
Zhongli asked Xiao, "Where are they coming from? Stomach? Lungs? Somewhere else?"
Xiao thought for a minute. "Lungs. I think."
Zhongli nodded, his eyes far away as he paced slowly. "How long have you been dealing with this? I do hope you've kept track at least."
Xiao scowled, but huffed out an answer, side-eyeing Hu Tao. "Eighteen days. And I'm not the one who's bad at keeping track of time."
Hu Tao snorted, but pulled a serious face a split second later. Zhongli started ticking something off on his fingers, counting quietly. "Eighteen... The day after Aether visited you again, correct?"
Xiao suddenly choked and coughed up another sunflower. Hu Tao jumped, then marched up and scolded Zhongli.
"I might deal in dead people, but you do not get to kill your former employee in my office! Take him outside if you must. Ay yi." She shook her finger at Zhongli, who was unfazed.
Xiao felt a slight burn in his cheeks during the commotion, but by the time Zhongli returned his attention to him, he'd cooled down. "Am I correct, Xiao?"
Xiao crossed his arms and looked away before answering, "Yes."
Zhongli nodded. "Seeing your reaction to my previous question, there is no need for me to ask you my last question. The answer is obviously yes."
"What? What question? I didn't say yes to anything except that that was the correct day!"
Zhongli turned to him. "My apologies. You have feelings for Aether, do you not?"
Xiao felt like maybe he'd been lit on fire. At the same time, he was coughing up more sunflowers. Hu Tao was hiding behind Zhongli now, but he could hear her giggling and he wasn't pleased. This wasn't a joke.
Zhongli continued on. "But Aether had just returned from Inazuma. His favorite flowers are these sunflowers, according to Lady Ningguang, and you, specifically, do not ever talk about your feelings."
Zhongli looked Xiao in the eyes. "I'm no doctor, but I'm fairly certain you've contracted the Inazuman disease of Hanahaki."
"Hanahaki?" Hu Tao asked in response. "Can't that kill someone?"
Zhongli sighed. "I am no expert, but I have read up on it. My understanding is that, while it can, it usually doesn't. Admitting to your feelings will usually clear the lungs of the flora. Even if the admittance isn't to the object of the feelings. If Xiao here just admitted right now that he had feelings for Aether, I'm fairly certain he would find his lungs much clearer in even a few hours." Zhongli pinched the bridge of his nose. "Unfortunately, he is stubborn, and somewhat old fashioned."
Hu Tao opened her mouth, but whatever she was about to say was shot down by a sudden rapping on the door.
"A customer!" She practically sang. rushing to the door. Xiao hid himself, using a bit of his anemo power to also hide the blood stained flowers.
"Hello, and welcome to- Traveler?"
Hu Tao was having some kind of day.
"Is Zhongli working today?" Aether asked.
Hu Tao sighed. "Yes, he's probably just inside. Zhongli, Aether wants to talk to you!"
"I am right here, there is no need to shout. Aether, why don't we take a walk around the harbor?"
Aether nodded, and followed Zhongli deeper into the city.
"What is it you wish to speak with me about?" Zhongli asked as the two approached Third-Round Knockout.
Aether fidgeted. "There's... I don't know. It's just.... ugh!"
Paimon swirled into existence and crossed her arms, frowning. "He's coughing up crystalflies, all day, everyday! Paimon can't even sleep! And then he gets moony and coughs up even more! And he refused to see a doctor about it! So Paimon pestered him until he came to see you!"
"Yeah." Aether pried his face out of his hands. "And I don't get moody! I just occasionally miss some of my friends and then it gets worse!"
"It's not just any friends! You're thinking of one specific person!" Paimon continued as the group sat down.
Zhongli listened intently to the argument between the two, carefully pulling the important information out of the contradictions. He hummed slightly as Paimon vanished again, and Aether slumped in his seat, exhaustion all over his face. He coughed a bit, irritation furrowing his brows when nothing came up.
"May I ask you a question?" Aether nodded and took a sip of water. Zhongli waited till the boy had swallowed, then asked. "Do you perhaps have feelings for Xiao?"
Waiting did nothing to alleviate Aether's sudden coughing fit. Paimon returned and flitted around Aether in worry, quickly catching the crystalfly that popped out, and either stashing it away or releasing it. Zhongli wasn't sure which.
Aether took a deep breath, and finally answered. "Xiao and I are just friends."
"He'll never admit to it," Paimon said sadly. "But why'd you ask him that? It doesn't make any sense to Paimon!"
Zhongli sighed. "I have been dealing with a very similar circumstance just this morning. Come back to the Parlor with me, I suspect I will need to pay a visit elsewhere in a short while."
Aether and Paimon looked at each other before Aether shrugged and followed Zhongli.
A short trip later...
"Hu Tao, we've returned."
"Oh good, because I think he's getting worse. But he won't tell me anything!" Hu Tao said, frustrated. "Oh hey, Aether. Are you done with my consultant, then?"
Aether shrugged. "I think so? I didn't get a straight answer."
"Ah, my apologies. It must have slipped my mind." Zhongli cleared his throat. "I suspect Aether is also dealing with hanahaki, although the fact that the object of his affections thinks crystalflies are flowers adds a tint of humor to the situation."
Aether paled. "Oh, archons. I've read about this. Oh, this is bad. I don't know the cure, and I don't know where I got it!"
"Inazuma, probably," Hu Tao said, casually inspecting her nail polish. "Paimon, do you think this is chipped?"
Paimon flounced angrily. 'Is this really the time?! Hanahaki is a serious disease! And you!" She pointed at Zhongli, who was halfway to the door. "Where are you going?! Why are you both so amused by his suffering?! If he dies he will never be a customer of Wangsheng!" Paimon declared.
"Aw, but I gave him coupons and everything," Hu Tao pouted.
Zhongli sighed. "I will return shortly with some people, from Inazuma, who have more expertise in this subject. Hu Tao, if you would see Aether somewhere safe, that would be appreciated." Zhongli left as Hu Tao gave a lazy salute.
"Bossy man. He acts like he's an archon sometimes."
Aether coughed, this time in an attempt to hide a laugh. Paimon looked pointedly away from the young director, probably also in an attempt to hide the amusement spreading over her face.
Hu Tao scuffed the floor for a moment, thinking furiously. 'If they're both suffering from hanahaki, and this Xiao guy got it after seeing Aether, maybe they're pining for each other. There's gotta be another factor, too, because if the affections being reciprocated were all that was necessary to heal the infection, then neither of them would be suffering. But Mister Zhongli said that Xiao was "stubborn", and while Aether is a good guy, he probably hasn't admitted to his feelings, because he's still looking for his sister. But maybe, I can do something about it!' A grin spread across her face, and she looked up.
Only to find Paimon in her face, waving her arms exasperatedly. "Hello? Earth to Hu Tao? Are you going to take him somewhere safe now?"
"Oh, yes, of course! I know exactly where to take him! Follow me, please!" Hu Tao tried to reign in the skip in her step, but failed, as she lead the two down the hallway to her office. "Here you go! No one but me, and occasionally Zhongli, is allowed in my office, usually. You should be plenty safe here!"
"Thank you," Aether said, coughing slightly. Hu Tao grinned brightly, then shut the door. Paimon, for some reason, had stayed on the other side of the door.
Aether gingerly sat in one of the chairs in the office. He looked around, and spotted a sunflower on the desk. On closer inspection, though, he saw that it was covered in something dark. He left it alone.
"Zhongli?"
Aether jumped out of his seat at the voice, and at the sight of Xiao coming up from behind Hu Tao's desk. They both started coughing, then exchanged matching concerned looks.
"Oh my archons, are you okay, Xiao?"
"Enough about me, what about you?"
"But your karmic debt?"
"I'm fine!"
"No you aren't!"
"Neither are you!"
Outside the office:
Hu Tao leaned closer to the door. Judging by the sudden explosion of noise coming from behind it, they'd discovered each other. Perfect.
"This is why Paimon stayed outside! Why are you eavesdropping?!"
Hu Tao turned and winked, before whispering, "Oh, hello, Paimon. I think you'll understand. You see, Aether isn't the only one suffering from hanahaki. A friend of Mister Zhongli's is too. His name is Xiao, and he's pining for Aether. And while I can't figure out everything about Mister Zhongli, I know, almost for certain, that Aether's being the same way. After all, what are the chances, right?" She sighed. "Besides, much as I go on about customers, having the Traveler pass away in my parlor would put a very big dent in both my mood and my reputation. Better to matchmake and delay it, right?"
Paimon was still frowning, but noticeably less so. "Hmmph. Just don't do anything else."
"Oh, don't worry, I won't. But," she paused, tapping her lip, "Just how is Mister Zhongli getting to Inazuma in a 'short time'?"
Paimon crossed her arms. "That's for Paimon to know, and you to not know."
Hu Tao pouted.
Inside the office:
Aether panicked over Xiao's head as the adeptus' body was wracked with coughs. He frantically looked around the room, then saw a pitcher of water on a sidebar. He grabbed a glass and poured out some water, adding some Qingxin flower extract to help sooth the throat.
As he set the glass down, Xiao coughed one last time, and with a sound akin to a cat with a furball, discarded... a sunflower.
"THAT CAME OUT OF YOU?!" Aether shrieked in panic.
Xiao looked at him in exasperated and exhausted fondness. "Yes."
Aether looked at it. "Huh." He sat down with a glass of his own water just a few moments later. He looked at Xiao resting his head and arms on the table. The sunflowers on the table drew his attention, and he saw Xiao was toying with one of the petals as he laid there. "I don't know if I ever told you that sunflowers were my favorite flowers," Aether said quietly over his cup.
Xiao stilled, then replied, "You never did, but I figured. It explains a lot."
Aether fidgeted, rotating the glass over a knot visible in the table. "What are yours?"
Xiao sighed, then pushed himself up. "Crystalflies."
Aether felt himself turning red, but along with the flush came the tickle in his throat. Still, he managed to quell it, at least for the moment. "What are you here for?" 'And why haven't you left?' Aether left unspoken.
"... I've been unwell, as you can see, so I came to see Re-" He cleared his throat, "Zhongli. He called it hanahaki, but then he and that girl got interrupted and distracted. So I've been here. Waiting."
"My bad." Aether whispered. "I've not been well, either, but I didn't know what the matter was, so Paimon told me to come talk to him as well." Aether laughed at the table. "Apparently it's also hanahaki. Except with less flowers and more...." He trailed off as the tickle built up again, and he coughed for minute. A crystalfly landed in his hand and he placed it on the table. "More of these."
Xiao frowned at the crystalfly on the table. "That is a flower."
"No it isn't."
"Yes, it is."
"Xiao. A crystalfly is a bug. Not a flower."
"But they're just as beautiful as flowers. Why on earth wouldn't they be?"
"Because they're bugs."
"Impossible. Bugs are not beautiful."
Aether just shook his head and let Xiao live in denial.
Time passed on in near silence, only broken by intermittent coughs. Which slowly grew less intermittent.
Finally, Aether couldn't take the silence anymore, and decided to ask a question that had been bothering him for a while.
"Who're your flowers for? I didn't think sunflowers were very common here."
Xiao drew his finger across the table. "Someone I met not too long ago. Someone who drew me out of my shell and brought more light into my difficult life." Xiao looked at Aether. "What about yours?"
Aether tugged on his braid. To tell or not to tell? Xiao was right there, but... could he afford getting distracted while looking for his sister? And then there was the matter of Xiao's own affections. It wasn't fair to Xiao if he was in love with someone else, now was it?
"I also met him recently. A lot kinder than he acts, but devoted to his work." Aether sighed. "I'm afraid. Of losing my first goal, and of distracting him, putting him in danger. More danger." Aether traced over the knot again. "He can take care of himself, but... I still worry."
"And since you're like this, he must be oblivious to your affections?" Xiao rasped, a sign that another coughing fit was coming. Aether got up and poured him another glass of water.
"Maybe? I don't know if he even would enter a relationship, even if he knew." 'If you knew.'
"Maybe he would. Maybe if you told him, he would be willing to drop everything for you," Xiao said, before furiously coughing into his elbow.
Aether helped Xiao through it, waiting until the cough had passed before daring to speak again.
"What if there's a chance... That he's in love with someone else?" Aether said, quietly in the hopes that Xiao wouldn't hear him.
"For archon's sake, Aether, just tell him! Tell him, and let me die in peace! I would do anything for you to be happy! Tell this other man how you feel, and then I can move on in peace!" Xiao breathed heavier then, from both the cough, and the sudden outburst. He looked away. "Tell him, and let Liyue be rid of the Yakshas."
"No! Liyue can't lose the last Yaksha! And why would me telling him how I feel cause you to die?" Aether asked in a panic. "Or are those unconnected?"
Xiao buried his face in his arms. "I made a vow to never fall in love, and this is why. Useless, heart-rending, and more pain than necessary. Besides. They always die, anyway."
"Xiao, that doesn't answer my questions!" Aether said, sitting in the chair next to Xiao.
"Fine. Maybe the twist of the knife will hurt less." Xiao said bitterly, before facing Aether. "It's you. The flowers are for you, I have feelings for you, I am willing to die, for you. I hope you're happy." As he confessed, though, he felt his lungs clear up. He barely had time to puzzle over that, before Aether pulled him into a hug.
"This is most improper!" Xiao complained, trying to resist.
"You don't understand, Xiao. Silly yaksha. I think you're the only person in all of Teyvat who thinks crystalflies are flowers. You're my love, the object of my affections." As Aether spoke, he felt the itch in his throat, and the heaviness in his lungs lift and vanish.
Xiao felt his face warm, and he buried his face in Aether's neck. "But the kindness you see...."
"You're kinder than you think, Xiao. And more amazing, too. You're selfless, too." Aether pulled back and brushed Xiao's hair out of his face. "Is it any wonder I fell in love with you?"
Silence fell as the two pairs of golden eyes locked. Aether felt his face burn as he did so, but he reached up and cupped Xiao's cheek. He leaned forwards and asked, "May I kiss you?"
Xiao hesitated, then leaned forwards ever so slightly. "Yes, you may."
Aether closed the gap between them and captured Xiao's lips with his own. He pulled his chair closer to Xiao's, and tentatively laced one hand with Xiao's, placing his second hand in the adeptus' hair.
The door behind them flee open, and they broke apart. Their stunned gazes met those of Sanganomiya Kokomi, Raiden Ei, and Yae Miko.
"Um. Hello," Aether said, one hand still intertwined with one of Xiao's. "Did... Did Zhongli bring you all here?"
Hu Tao burst in between the three ladies. "YES AND I DON'T KNOW HOW HE DID IT IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE IMPOSSIBLE!"
Zhongli chuckled from the hallway. "You'll figure it out someday."
"I demand you tell me now!" Hu Tao yelled playfully, pushing through the ladies again and launching herself into the hallway. Kokomi gracefully shut the door.
"My old friend mentioned that you two were ill with an Inazuman disease, but you seem to be in good health now," Ei said, confusion just barely coloring her words.
Yae Miko laughed smugly. "The little traveler finally opened up to his emotions, then! That's good, then, now we can simply call this a brief vacation."
Kokomi frowned. "We should still conduct a brief examination, Guuji Yae, to ensure that the Hanahaki is truly gone. And I will heal any remaining internal damages."
Miko sighed dramatically. "Well, if you insist, then. Open up, boys."
"Pardon?" Aether asked, as Xiao leaned away from the kitsune.
"Well, I need to be able to see your throats, don't I? We must make sure that there are no lingering flora. So, open up."
"Um.... Okay," Aether replied tentatively before opening his mouth for Miko's inspection.
"You seem to be all good, aside from one last petal, I think. That's normal, however. Now you, you must be Xiao."
Xiao narrowed his eyes at her. "Yes."
Miko raised an eyebrow. "Will you let me inspect you, just to ensure you're healthy now?"
Xiao scowled. "No. I'm an excellent judge of my body. I'm fine."
"Such stubbornness. As to be expected by the final Yaksha. Receiving help is fine and normal. Besides, I'm a shrine maiden, you can trust me." Miko smiled at him.
"I said no. If Aether is fine, then I am, too." Xiao glared at Miko. "Besides, I've never trusted kitsunes."
To Aether's surprise, Miko laughed at that. "Good point. But I won't do anything to you, not with your archon just outside, nor my archon right here."
Aether tapped Xiao's shoulder to draw his attention. "Just let her check, then it'll be over with and she'll leave you alone."
Xiao sighed. "Promise?"
"I'll make her if she doesn't."
Xiao nodded, then faced Miko, and reluctantly opened his mouth. Miko finished her examination quickly. "Yes, you're clear. Both of you."
As Miko stepped back, Kokomi took her place. "Now I'll just give you both a quick healing, and we'll be done here." She cast the spell, and both Aether and Xiao felt the difference in their lungs and airways.
"Thank you, Kokomi," Aether said, standing up and stretching. "Uh, I hope you don't find this rude, Raiden Ei, but... why are you here?"
Ei blinked. "Rex Lapis found me first. I directed him to Miko and Sanganomiya, and decided to follow along. Liyue has changed much."
Hu Tao burst through the doors. "HEY I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT REX LAPIS IS DEAD, I HELD HIS FUNERAL! Well. Actually, Zhongli did." Hu Tao tapped her chin. "Wait a second! HEY!"
Ei watched as Hu Tao scrabbled against the mysteriously and suddenly jammed door. "Does she... Not know?"
"She didn't, no." Xiao sighed. "But he knows she's bright and would piece it together eventually."
"LET ME OUT OF MY OFFICE, OLD MAN!" Hu Tao yelled as she banged on the door.
Aether couldn't contain the giggles that burst forth at the circumstances. Then he pulled Xiao closer, and wrapped an arm around his shoulders. Pressing his lips against Xiao's ears, he whispered, "I love you."
Xiao flushed. "I love you, too."
Eventually, Zhongli opened the door, only to be tackled by Hu Tao, who began to pester him with questions. He promised to explain later, then invited everyone to Liuli pavilion for a meal.
Paimon was relieved to find that everything had worked out in the end, but later that night, as Aether was resting in a room at Wangshu Inn, a realization came over her.
"Oh, no, now Paimon'll never hear the end of it!"
Xiao bonked her head gently with the bottom of his spear. "Don't wake him."

I’ve been thinking a lot about the Hu Tao and Chongyun storyquests the past days. Both deal with the afterlife (well the border between life and death so far) and ghosts. We know both are canon in Genshin, they exist for this world. Now what I’ve been thinking a lot about is … how much angst can I write with that in mind? I always see a lot of these how the characters would react to your death but… yeah, have fun with this. Or not.
The ghost of you
Prompt: You died and the characters are faced with the literal ghost of you.
Genre: Angst, Hurt, no comfort (especially for Xiao)
Characters: Zhongli, Xiao,
Format: text
Word count: 1714
This is not proof-read or anything, I just wanted to get that idea out of my head. I also really want to write this idea out for other characters, so maybe I'll share a part 2 in the future. and yes the title might be a mcr reference and i might have two other fics in my drafts named after mcr songsi had a rough week okay
Zhongli:
He loved you. With all his heart, with every fibre of his being, he loved you so much. Zhongli always knew that his decision to live a life among mortals would cost a price, but in his mind, it was paid with his Gnosis all those years ago. It was not until the first of his mortal friends started to die that Zhongli was reminded of how fragile humans were. Of course, he was aware to a certain degree that he would outlive his friends and even you, he just never considered how quickly a human life was lived. You both had spent an entire life together, and while Zhonglis body did not biologically age, he is able to change his form to his liking - so when you grew old and grey so did he. Most people in Liyue would see the two of take your stroll around the city, holding hands and they were enamoured by the way you still looked at each other, just like a newlywed couple. But you grew older each day until one day, on one of your walks through the city, your collapsed. Zhongli was quick to catch you and the people around rushed towards the two, helping Zhongli getting you to a doctor. However, what was a doctor to do, than to tell Zhongli that your body is giving up? The doctor nor Zhongli can do anything against the flow of time, though Zhongli wished he could. He was not ready to let you go, he was not ready for you to onyl life in his memories until the erosion of the earth will erease you from them.
You layed in the hospital bed, Zhongli right next to you never letting go of your hand, when you took your last breath. He sat next to you for a while, not saying a word, tears running down his face until he heard your voice.
"It's okay," there you stood on the other side of the bed, your dead body between the two of you. In all the years Zhongli lived he had seen more than a few ghosts and he was aware of the human afterlife - though seeing your ghost wasn't something he anticipated. "You're dead", Zhongli said quietly, tears still spilling from his eyes. "I know, love. I know. And I wish I could've stayed with you just a bit longer, I really do. But it's time. You gave me such a wonderful life; we spend so many years together and I am so thankful for it Zhongli. For all the stories you told me, for all the sleepless nights we spend together, for all the memories we made. I loved it. I love you." Zhongli still hadn't let go of your hand, still afraid of letting you go, even though the mind he loved was standing so close to him. "Love," he started, his voice heavy with grief. "I have so many more stories to tell you. Will you stay, just for a while longer?"
At that you had to laugh a bit and oh, how much he already missed your laugh. He just heard it a few hours ago, when you were still alive, but hearing it now just felt so painful. "Zhongli, even 10 lifetimes wouldn't be enough to be able to listen to all of your stories. But I'm so sorry to disappoint you, you know I can't stay."
He knew this just too well. Not only as someone who worked for decades as a consultant of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor in Liyue, but also as the former Geo-Archon he knew it was better for you to go. It pained him that he could never follow you into the afterlife that was awaiting you, even Zhongli didn't know what awaits you behind the border between life and death. "Then," Zhongli began, standing up and letting go of your cold hand, "let me accompany you."
Xiao:
Continuation for the Xiao one
Xiao refused to go even near the place you died for decades. The day he lost you was still so fresh in his memories, it pained him even more than his karmic debt to think about it. He always told you, when you were still by his side, that when you were in trouble, in danger, to always call his name. You did. You always did and he would be by your side, protecting you from what would’ve harmed you. The only time you refused to call his name in time was the day you died, and all Xiao could do was blame himself. You were visiting at the Inn earlier that day, standing next to him on the balcony talking about something he doesn’t even remember. What he remembers how happy you were, how enthusiastic you talked about it, whatever it was. Somehow though the conversation shifted, and you both ended up fighting – the reason for it was so stupid and it was all his fault. He was just in a bad mood that day and not even your warm presence were able to change it, so he let it out on you. Trying to push you away, again. Xiao cursed himself for how often he did that, how often he would hide how much he loved you, how much he cared for you, behind a mean exterior that only caused you pain. You knew what he was doing and that day, you just had enough. “Stop trying to push me away, Xiao!”, you shouted at him, tears already filling your eyes. You tried to reach for him, but he pulled away. Keeping you at a distance, again. “And you just stop talking, it’s exhausting to hear your voice.” Xiao already hated himself immediately after he said it, but looking back now, knowing what his words caused… it drove him close to madness. “Fine,” you replied, and he could her how much his words hurt you, “then you’ll never hear it again.” With that you left him. He tried to distract himself from the guilt he felt after your fight with his work, slashing through the enemies, spoiling the earth of Liyue with more blood. For nearly a month he didn’t hear you call him, and he was too scared to seek you out. Scared that you wouldn’t want to see him, scared that he ruined it all. When you finally called for him, when he finally heard you say his name – he hoped it was a chance for him to make it up to you. Xiao was not prepared to find your lifeless body, realising that you called his name with your very last breath. It send him into a blind rage, killing the enemies around him that were the cause for your death. When there was nothing left to kill he collapsed next to your corpse, tears spilling from his eyes, chanting your name over and over like a prayer. Asking himself why you hadn’t called him sooner to only remember what he said weeks prior. It was his fault. He couldn’t help it but to blame himself for your death. If he hadn’t said those words, if he hadn’t continuously tried to push you away… you were right. Xiao will never hear your voice again.
He avoided to go even near the place you died. If he hadn’t done that, if he had visited at least once, he would’ve seen your ghost, wandering aimlessly around. At first you were just confused, what had just happened? The last thing you remembered is that you called for Xiao and now? Now you stood in the middle of a forest, no Xiao in sight but also the enemies who cornered you just now were also gone. For how long you wandered around, confused and not sure what had happened you didn’t know. It scared you. You screamed his name, over and over again but you couldn’t hear your own voice. You just couldn’t make a sound.
He didn’t mean to come across that place again. Xiao learned to live with the guilt and grief he felt, just as he had to learn to live with his karmic debt. Still, it hurts more than he likes to admit. So when he stumbled upon the place he lost you all those years ago, he asked himself how he ended up here again. Something was telling him he should come here, but he tried to ignore that voice, that calling. But when he saw your ghostly figure between the trees of the forest, it used to be a plain field when you had died, he froze. Was it really you? “(Y/N)?”, he called out to you. Oh, how long he hadn’t said your name. It felt foreign, but also so familiar at the same time. But you didn’t hear nor see him, you were too lost after years of roaming the fields that grew to a forest – not being able to understand that time passed, that you were dead. Xiao came closer to your ghost and saw how you screamed something, over and over. His name. It was his name. “(Y/N) it’s me, I’m here. Please, I’m here, it’s okay”, his voice was strained and when your face met his – Xiao noticed how you didn’t look at him. You looked right through him, he noticed now how he couldn’t reach you with his words nor his presences. He tried to grab you, but his hand only touched the air. If he could at least hear you call his name. Xiao felt how his tears ran down his face, his heart shattering again in thousand pieces. Why hadn’t he noticed it earlier how you roamed the earth, lost and scared. He saw it in your face. Why didn’t he come here earlier? It pained him to know that you hadn’t found your peace. Xiao went down on his knees, face buried in his hands. The last time he felt so helpless was when he found your dead body, unable to help you. And now? Now it happened again, he had no idea what he could do to help you, to make you see him. From that day on Xiao spend most of his time watching over your ghost, hoping that one day he’ll hear you call out to him again.

Hi I'm the anon who requested the Childe x zhongli x reader one. I deeply apologize I am so so sorry I should have specified but yes! Childe and zhongli are dating at the beginning, and poly at the end with reader. Only if your comfortable with it though! I'm sorry once again I should have specified more clearly T-T
original ask: Um feel free to ignore This ask but zhongli x Childe x reader where Zhongli and childe are dating and reader has been in love with both of them and thinks their love is unrequited, but they're happy with only giving love and not receiving anything in return. But then one day they meet someone new and start spending more time with them, pulling away from zhongli and childe which leads them to getting angry and confessing + jealous nsfw at the end. Feel free to ignore tho, no pressure. Have a good day and take care :)
hopefully i did you justice lol, i was still a tiny bit confused so i apologize if this isn’t 100% of what you were looking for but i hope you still like it!!! this is a part 1 of 2 and the nsfw work scene is going to be in part 2 (expect that in a couple days) PART 2 HERE
cw: polyamourous relationship, little bit of angst, a little over 3k words, hu tao has a brother in this named jiang
summary: your first crush is zhongli and when it’s evident he doesn’t like you back, you try to turn your feelings to childe. so when childe and zhongli start dating, your heart is shattered. thinking there’s no hope for love, you meet jiang. sounds great - the only issue? zhongli and childe seem to have a problem with this.
Alongside Zhongli, you were a mortician at the Wangshen Funeral Home. Over the months of working beside him, you had become quite close to him. In fact, Zhongli considered you one of his closest friends in Liyue. After long days at the parlor you would go out to dinner together and despite having to pay most of the time, you were happy to spend time with him.
Your feelings towards Zhongli were growing to be more than platonic but you could never tell him. You were too different from him and while you were sure he appreciated your friendship, you couldn’t imagine him reciprocating your true feelings.
So when you’re introduced to a young man named Childe, you thought this would be your way to weasel out of your one-sided love. Childe was cheeky and sweet to you, nearly winning your heart instantly. He hung around Zhongli often and it became unusual to see either of them alone. Slowly, your crush on Zhongli soon shifted to Childe.
Unlike before, you began to dress nicer to work if you knew Childe was going to be coming along that day. You examined the way Childe interacted with Zhongli versus you and the difference made you hopeful that Childe was feeling something for you. Sometimes he would even stay at the parlor with you if Zhongli needed to run out for a bit.
When Childe asked you to Wanmin for dinner one night, your heart swelled. You had been alone for too long and now a rich, handsome local from Snezhnaya was courting you, right?
You were giddy for the remaining hour of your shift, even telling Hu Tao that you had a date after work. When the time came, Childe waited for you at the entrance and you happily skipped beside him. He made a comment about how you seemed to be in a good mood and you could only chuckle - wasn’t he, too?
“Order whatever you want,” Childe told you once you both were seated at a table. Your eyes glazed over the menu, racing back and forth between too many options. You heard Childe sigh and you looked up briefly to see his fingers fumbling with each other. “You’re probably wondering why I asked you to dinner, huh?”
Beneath the table, your legs twisted anxiously. You hid your excited smile and tilted your head, trying to make a cute facial expression. Was Childe going to ask you to be his partner? Or was it too soon to do that? Despite your age, you hadn’t been on a proper date in ages. Were things different when you were a teenager than when you were an adult?
One of Childe’s hands made its way across the table and you let him take your own. His hand felt incredibly soft and warm and you wanted desperately to interlock your fingers.
“Since you're my closest friend in Liyue, I wanted to tell you this before anyone else,” Childe began. The first part of his sentence made your chest flutter but you decided to pay no mind to it. Perhaps you had just gotten closer to Childe than Zhongli lately. But what Childe said next made your heart drop into the pit of your stomach, “I’m going to ask Zhongli to be my partner.”
“Like, work partner?” You said, your words catching in your throat. You knew exactly what Childe meant. How could you have been so stupid?
Childe let out a hearty laugh, “No, not a work partner. I want to be his boyfriend.”
Your hand fell limp in Childe’s and you swore you stopped breathing in that moment. Not only were you extremely upset, you were suddenly extremely embarrassed. You told Hu Tao this was a date! You face grew red and you averted your eyes to your lap. But it all made sense. Childe wasn’t talking to you in a special way - he was talking to Zhongli. Looking back on your personal conversations with Childe, you realized that most of them centered around Zhongli or Zhongli’s personality. You were just so infatuated with trying to please Childe that you hadn’t noticed.
“So, what do you think?”
What did you think? You thought it was the most stupid, heart wrenching idea ever. You thought Childe was the worst person in the world for leading you on (even though deep down you knew he didn’t really lead you on) and you thought Childe should just go back to Snezhnaya.
“Great!” You said, plastering a fake smile on your face, “I’m happy for you.”
Childe gave your hand a squeeze and finally let go. Your own hand slithered back to your lap where you grasped angrily at the hem of your shirt.
You ordered the most expensive item on the menu.
***
You spent the next few weeks putting up a false identity. The day after your dinner with Childe, he followed through with his idea and started to date Zhongli. You hated to admit it, but they were the perfect couple. Childe helped bring Zhongli out of his reclusiveness and Zhongli helped Childe become a more mature person.
Since both men were still your friends, they wanted to continue their relationship with you. And you didn’t have the heart to tell them to leave you alone. Now that they were dating, it was always the three of you and you quickly grew to their third wheel.
Childe offered to do commissions with you and, of course, Zhongli came along and your usual table during lunch with Zhongli had to be changed so a third person could fit. It was fun at first since Zhongli and Childe were still getting comfortable with their new dynamic but once they discovered intimacy and physical touch, you had enough.
Not only did you have to suffer through not one but two one-sided crushes just to have them start dating each other, now you had to sit by and watch them practically drool all over each other. Instead of going out to lunch with the couple one day, you made up an excuse about work you needed to finish and collapsed in a chair in Hu Tao’s office once they had left.
The funeral director looked at you over a mound of paperwork, “You’re not going out today?”
“And watch Childe try feeding Zhongli for an hour? No thanks.”
You crossed your arms, annoyed, and fixed your sight on the ticking clock on the wall. Hu Tao shifted her small body so she was sitting on her desk facing you, her legs hanging off the side and her feet kicking the side of her desk.
“What happened?” She asked. At her question, you broke and told your boss everything. Hu Tao sat and listened, staring at you concerned while you ranted about how you were convinced the world was out to get you. When you finished your vent, Hu Tao had a mischievous look on her face, “You just need to find someone new.”
You were quick to roll your eyes, “Yeah, no.”
“Believe me, Y/N, getting a new partner would help get your mind off Zhongli and Childe.”
“And where am I supposed to just find someone to date out of the blue?”
“Are you doing anything after work?”
Knowing Hu Tao, you were more than nervous to see what she had up her sleeve. Nonetheless, you avoided Childe and Zhongli for the rest of the day and cautiously left with Hu Tao. You walked behind her in silence as she led you into Liyue Harbor and to a rather large townhouse. She opened the front door and you followed her inside, immediately being met with a bustling and loud environment.
A child ran by your legs and Hu Tao shouted something inaudible at them. She turned on her heel to you, “Sorry for the chaos. You’re okay with staying for dinner, right?”
You nodded your head, realizing it was probably foolish to say no to your boss (it’s not like you had plans anyways). Hu Tao beamed and clapped her hands together, practically dragging you to the kitchen and shoving you down on a barstool. Beside you sat a rather good-looking man and Hu Tao soon introduced him to you.
“Y/N, this is my older brother Jiang. Please find him well.”
So, this is what the director had in mind.
Jiang held out his hand to you politely and you shook it gently, formally introducing yourself to him. For the next few hours, you and Jiang got to know each other. You learned that he was Hu Tao’s eldest sibling and was a teacher in Liyue Harbor. He was around your age and had a very kind smile. By the end of the night, Jiang expressed his interest in you and asked you on a proper date. Hu Tao only smirked giddily behind the counter.
You and Jiang grew close quickly. Your time spent with him was refreshing and for once, you were finally able to get your mind off Childe and Zhongli. You still saw Zhongli (and sometimes Childe) at work but your relationship had already faltered enough to add awkwardness to your conversations. If Zhongli tried to stop you and talk to you about something other than work, you made up an excuse to scurry along. Despite your new relationship, thinking about Zhongli and Childe caused a familiar pain to appear in your chest.
One night you couldn’t leave fast enough and Zhongli caught your arm, “May I have a word with you?”
“Right now?” You asked, glancing at the clock for emphasis, “I really have to get going.”
“Please,” Zhongli said quietly, “Just for a moment.”
You sighed, knowing you didn’t have a valid excuse rolled up in your sleeve this time. You nodded your head and slipped your bag from your shoulder back onto the chair in front of you. Zhongli retracted his hand from your arm, instead deciding to loosely cross them across his chest.
“Have we done something wrong?” He asked.
“What are you talking about?”
“Childe and I have noticed your absence from our outings,” He explained, his tone remaining very flat, “We miss you.”
You wanted to scoff at him. You weren’t a part of their relationship, why did they miss you? “I’ve just been busy,” You said, “In fact, I started seeing someone.”
Zhongli’s expression at this statement was indescribable. It was as if he had a reaction but was trying to hide it behind tight lips. Even his usual bright eyes were unreadable. “I see,” He said simply. He paused for a moment before flashing you a cheeky, falsified smile, “I’d love to meet them. How about a double date this Saturday? We get off early then.”
You sent Zhongli a similar tight-lipped smirk, “We would love to. See you then.” And with that, you picked up your bag and rushed out of the funeral home, rubbing your temple. You had a bad feeling about this date.
***
Jiang picked you up for your double date at six. You couldn’t help but notice how ravishing he looked that night with his hair slicked back and expensive-looking clothes on his body. Upon further inspection, you could see the faint smudge of eyeliner lining his lashes. Gold jewelry adorned his neck and wrists and you could only assume Hu Tao spent hours making him look this good for you.
“Ready to go?” Jiang asked you, holding his arm out cheekily. You rolled your eyes and grinned, locking your front door and grabbing onto his arm.
You couldn’t shake that uneasy feeling in the pit of your stomach but you didn’t let Jiang know. The last thing he needed was to hear about how the two men he was meeting tonight were former crushes of yours. To him, this double date was a simple outing between coworkers.
You were having dinner together at the Liyue Pavilion as per suggestion of Childe. You were worried about the price but Childe insisted that he would front the bill as always. Part of you missed having your meals constantly covered by the harbinger.
Jiang opened the door to the restaurant for you and you thanked him, slipping inside and spotting the two men you were meeting already at a table. Childe reached up to wave you over and you took Jiang’s arm in yours before heading over there.
“Childe, Zhongli,” You greeted your co-worker and friend, “This is Jiang, my boyfriend.”
“It’s nice to meet you,” Jiang smiled, reaching his free hand out to Childe and Zhongli who both shook it cautiously. After introducing everyone, you sat down at the table and Childe handed you a menu to look over.
Jiang was being overtly sweet to you, touching your fingertips and leaning into your side. You accepted the gestures, even daring to lay your head against his shoulder while he talked to Zhongli about the cor lapis industry. From the corner of your eye, you watched Childe’s jaw clench and his grip on Zhongli’s arm tightened.
“So, tell us about yourself,” Childe asked Jiang, his tone sharp. Jiang, sweet Jiang, only beamed and sat straighter in his chair, “Zhongli tells me your Hu Tao’s brother, correct?”
“Right! She’s my younger sister,” Jiang shook his head and chuckled softly to himself, “And I teach literature at the Liyue Xueyuan.”
“A teacher?” Childe nearly scoffs, “I suppose that’s why you live with your younger sister.”
Jiang seemed taken aback by this comment but tried to play it off by laughing. You felt a pang in your chest and shot Childe a nasty glare for his unnecessary comment but were only met with his sharp eyes. You swore you could see jealousy swimming in them.
“Now, now,” Zhongli interrupted, “Not everyone is as magnificent as you, Childe. No need to make others feel bad.”
You felt Jiang’s body tense and his eyes averted down to his lap for a moment. “Don’t listen to them,” You told him, “They’re just trying to be funny.”
“I would never dream of humoring you about that,” Zhongli replied to you, “I’m just pointing out the obvious. Aren’t we getting to know each other?”
At that moment, you knew exactly what Childe and Zhongli were doing. You noticed the way they were looking admirably at you and shooting daggers at your date. They were clearly trying to badtalk him and make Jiang seem undesirable in your eyes. Only you couldn’t seem to understand why. Shouldn’t they be happy that you finally found someone to potentially settle down with?
One more backhanded comment was thrown in Jiang’s direction and suddenly your partner stood up from the table. The expression on his face was heart-wrenching, “I’m going to use the restroom.” With that, Jiang hurried away from the table leaving you alone with both men.
“What the fuck is wrong with you two?” You snapped, angrily waving your hands around.
“What do you mean?” Childe asked, batting his eyelashes at you in the most painstakingly annoying way ever. Your eyes narrowed and after finding his foot under the table, you stomped on it hard. Childe cursed and crossed his arms, looking down.
Zhongli, understanding Childe was being too immature, spoke up, “You shouldn’t be with him.”
You wanted to tear your hair out, “Who do you think you are to dictate who I can and can’t date?” Your voice was rising but you didn’t care, your frustration jumping out. “Never once have I meddled with your relationship but you think you can with mine?”
“You should be with us.”
Zhongli’s words made you freeze. Was this some sick joke? You wrecked your brain for an incident you caused in the past few months for them to be pranking you like this but you couldn’t think of a single one. Childe reached across the table to grasp your hands and you were still too in shock to pull them away.
“We love you, Y/N, and we should have told you sooner,” Childe says.
You shake your head, “I’m dreaming.”
“You’re not,” Zhongli says, placing his hands over yours and Childe’s, “Please say you’ll be ours.”
Finally, you took a deep breath and looked straight ahead. Zhongli and Childe looked at you with pleading eyes and you felt a rush of emotions explode inside of you. Both of your former crushes were confessing their love to you, asking you to be a part of their relationship. Never once had the thought of a polyamorous relationship crossed your mind but you certainly weren’t opposed to it.
“Okay,” You breathed out, “I will.”
***
Breaking the news to Jiang when he returned back to the table was hard. He was already fragile from being berated before and now you were breaking up with him. You knew you were going to earn an earful from Hu Tao on Monday but you decided to worry about that when the time came.
You had asked Jiang to step aside and in the simplest of terms, you tried to explain the situation.
“So, you’re breaking up with me to date both of them?” He asked in disbelief, running a hand through his hair. His voice was filled with cracks and you wish it didn’t have to be like this. Truthfully, he didn’t understand. How could you be with two people at the same time? “Is this a sex thing? Because I can try harder if that’s-”
“No!” You interrupted, “It’s not, I promise. My heart is just split down the middle for them.”
Jiang sighed again. He may never fully understand your relationship but he appreciated you telling him now rather than later. You offered to walk Jiang home but the man decided he needed some time alone - you didn’t blame him. You wanted to ask Jiang if you could remain friends but the words weren’t coming out of your throat. You watched as Jiang took one last look at you, then the two men at the table, before solemnly walking away and out of the restaurant.
You returned to your new partners and finished your dinner. Slowly, your mood was elevated again but the natural ache of your heartbreak lingered.
“Spend the night with us,” Childe says sweetly after paying the check, “We can help you feel better.”
The feeling of both men on either side of you felt foreign but comforting. You nodded to Childe’s request and Zhongli led the three of you back to his apartment. The next few moments were a blur and when you came to, you were being laid on a soft bed. Childe slid next to you and your arm instinctively wrapped around his waist, pulling him closer, while Zhongli hovered above you. His warm eyes gazed into yours and you decided you could get used to this.
This new love was unique and plentiful as long as the three of you were on the same page, that’s all that mattered.
a/n: sorry this took so long! as you can see, it came out v long lmfao. requests are still open <3

Hello!
How is your day/night going?
Ahem, I want to start this off by saying if you don't feel comfortable with writing this you don't have to, I understand!
Also I want to put a trigger warning for self harm.
So I'm a month clean (how'd that happen :0) and I've been struggling a lot lately especially with school starting back up so I was wondering if you could do a comfort/ fluff of genshin characters having a s/o (they/them or not mentioned) that has a problem with self harm and/or eating.
I don't really mind the characters but if you do end up writing could you put some girls in?
Thanks!
You're amazing have a good day/night! :)
Tumblr media
Synopsis: reader with a problem with self harm/ eating.
Warnings: self harm, eating disorder (kinda?), and it’s not proofread per usual :’)
Game/ fandom: genshin impact
Characters: ganyu, rosaria, thoma, xiao, and hu tao
Pronouns for reader: gender neutral/ not mentioned
A/n: hello! I’m doing pretty good and I hope you are as well! Also congrats on being a month clean!!!!! That’s a amazing milestone :D!!! I understand school can be… to put it bluntly really really shitty. But I know you can stay clean :). I hope you enjoy, and if you want more characters I’d be glad to write for them! Have a nice day/ afternoon/ night!!! <3
Tumblr media
— ganyu —
I think she understands what you’re going through. At least how you feel, because the situation is different for everyone.
She’s very very sweet, and supportive, telling you how you can get through this, how you’re an amazingly strong person, and how she’ll always be here for you even if things get rocky.
I think the longer you go without harming yourself, and/ or eating the more and more… excited she’ll be. When you tell her you’ve been a month clean she’s over the moon with joy, and will shower your face with kisses while telling you how proud she is.
If you relapse (which is normal and it doesn’t mean anything against you or the progress you’ve made!) she’ll be right there by your side, never leaving you.
All in all ganyu is proud of you! She wants to see you succeed, and wants to be right there next to you when you do succeed!!!
— rosaria —
Rosaria also slightly understands the same way as ganyu. She understands how you feel, and wants to be there for you, but unlike ganyu she doesn’t know how.
Rosaria doenst have a gentle touch, and isn’t good with feelings, but she does small things for you.
She keeps track of how long you’ve been clean for, or how much you’ve been eating every day. She Isn’t the greatest cook (her special dish looks like it would be… painful.) but she’ll make food for you whenever you like! Say the word and she’s on it!
Rosaria isn’t much of a person for physical affection… or words, but she will kiss any self harm scars you have. She’s so soft and gentle it almost feels out of character for her.
She can’t always be by your side due to her being a nun and all, but she’ll stay up into the latest hours of the night for you. Comforting you, or making you food. She doesn’t care. She just wants you to get better.
— thoma —
Absolute sweetheart. Has almost… a motherly vibe when it comes to you. In a weird way? But a good way.
There’s a lot of cuddling while telling you how proud he is of you. He’s very gentle with you, his touch being light as a feather across your skin, and his words painfully sweet. He does this every time you’re having a rough time, pulling you close, and saying words of encouragement.
So respectful of whatever eating problems you may or may not have! You want food? Ok! It’s 3 am but he’ll make a whole meal if it’s for you! You wanna go somewhere else to eat? Ok! He’ll excuse you both from your friends to go eat somewhere in private if that what you’d like! You don’t wanna eat anything? He’ll encourage you to eat something, even something small like a berry, but won’t push you.
Did I empathize enough how respectful he is? He doesn’t push you to talk about anything if you don’t want to! He wants you to be comfortable around him, confide in him, he wants to be… a safe space if that makes sense?
— xiao —
He… doesn’t understand. Xiao has to deal with huge amounts of karma weighing on his shoulders every day, so why aren’t you ok? He also thinks he’s being stupid and selfish in a way, and feels guilty that he thinks the way he does sometimes.
I think when you told xiao about your eating problem, he probably flat out said, “yeah I only like almond tofu. Have you tried it? Maybe that’s your problem.” Listen I love xiao I really do but he’s most likely clueless and doesn’t know what to say.
Despite that though, he is… oddly caring, and protective? Let’s say you have self harm scars, and want to cover it up. Here take his jacket, or here take his whole wardrobe, he doesn’t need it. It isn’t about him right now it’s about you, and you need to be comfortable.
Won’t push you to eat, he doesn’t really like eating either, so he understands, but if you just… aren’t eating all day he aggressively will tell you to eat. He’ll Bring you a bowl of fruit, or a plate of crackers and cheese, slamming it down on the table and coldly saying “eat.”
Despite not knowing what to do, xiao is your number one supporter. Tracking how many days you’ve been clean, quietly telling you he’s proud (ok he doesn’t tell you but he give you… a warm look that is only reserved for you when he’s proud of you :D)

Genshin Boys With A Dense Crush (Part 2)
Here is part 2~ so, the reason why I didn't include Bennett and Razor is the fact that I can never write for them, like IDK why but its just very hard for me. So yeah, sorry about that. Part 1 (Albedo, Childe and Diluc)
Tumblr media
Chongyun
Dense + Dense = more dense
It was painfully obvious that Chongyun likes you but for some reason, he can’t quite figure that out for himself
But everyone around them knows
Xingqiu is actually on the road to writing a book about the two of you
Xiangling, Xinyan, Hu Tao, and Yan Fei are betting on how long until Chongyun realizes his feelings
Chongyun doesn’t know why he likes to see you every day, wants to have meals with you, and why he gets uncomfortable when he sees you with another person and smiling at them
Maybe it was the work of g-
“Oh I like them” -Chongyun one day when he woke up
He consulted his best friend Xingqiu about this and Xingqiu just placed his books down and said “dear archons finally, it was getting very painful to watch”
So the two started planning a cute little confession scenario
Somewhere Xinyan and Yan Fei are crying because they lost the best but Yan Fei is arguing that betting was illegal and has no ground in the law… Yan Fei, you betted with your conscience please stop
Anyway!
The pair of best friends decided to go with a simple type of confession because less is more in Xingqiu’s books
It was going so well, a cute dinner and all of that
“I like you Y/N, can we be more than that?”
Oh is that Xingqiu, Xiangling, Xinyan, Hu Tao, and Yan Fei spying on both of you from the bushes? Why, yes indeed.
“You want to be best friends Chongyun? But don’t you have Xingqiu as your best friend already?” - you with your ever so innocent voice and expression
Chongyun is frozen in place
Xingqiu, Xiangling, Xinyan, Hu Tao and Yan Fei are betting again this time how many times will Chongyun get a friendzone
Tumblr media
Kaeya
Someone revive him
He can’t take your dense nature anymore
This is Kaeya after all everything he does allude to something so WHY WON'T YOU GET IT STILL
“Oh, Kaeya? You like someone!? Can you introduce me to them?” - you asking excitedly upon hearing his and Rosaria’s conversation
Kaeya was pretty sure he was describing you
Rosaria is holding back her laugh, she can't breathe… SOMEONE SAVE HER
“I love them but this dense attitude is too much!” - Kaeya as he slams his fist on top of Diluc’s bar
“Have you tried wooing them?” - Diluc as his wiping a glass down, he's so nonchalant about this situation LMAO
“HAVE I TRIED?” - Kaeya sounding very offended
“How about getting a white bed sheet and painting “will you marry me Y/N” on it?” - Rosaria
“Yeah, they leave me no ch-”
“Sit down, don’t embarrass yourself like a child” - Diluc pushing his brother down to sit
“HOW WILL I GET MY FEELINGS ACROSS THOUGH!”
“Just confess, normally… like… a normal person” - Diluc
Kaeya decided that in two days time he was going to confess to you, two days because he needed to make sure it was perfect
But the moment he saw you laughing with some random guy all the planning was thrown out the window
“Meet me in front of the church when the sun rises” - Kaeya to you when he passes by you at the corridor of the headquarters
When you arrived, he made you stand at the flight of stairs in front of the church while he went down
He kneeled with his right knee touching the ground and he pulled a very neatly folded white sheet from his pocket
He unraveled it and wrote, “WILL YOU MARRY ME Y/N?”
But even before you can react a thunderous shouting can be heard and a chuckle
“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING!? I SAID CONFESS NORMALLY!” -Diluc
Tumblr media
Thoma
I’m going to try but still little info on this new pyro husband
Thoma is a very understanding boy
He likes you so much that he's willing to wait
But damn has he been waiting long
He decided he was going to confess to you today as well!
“Y/N! I like you!” - Thoma
“I like you too! You are like my best friend!” - you
Every time this happens Thoma stress eats.
Ayaka is giggling because he has never seen her friend like this
He's trying his best for you to like him, he cooks for you, takes care of you, guards you, protects you…
WHAT IS HE DOING WRONG!?
“You know the festival is ongoing” -Ayato as he watches his sister’s friend mop around like a puppy who has been kicked. “Why don’t you try confessing properly and straight-forwardly there?”
That gave him an idea
He dragged to the talisman-wishing thing and told you that you two should make one
When the both of you were done, you should each other what you made and to your surprise, Thoma made a drawing of the both of you holding hands
“It’s not us being best friends forever” - he clarified
“It’s me hoping to spend many more years beside you as your lover.”
Tumblr media
Venti
Barbatos aka Venti the Bard has been singing a lot of love songs lately
Especially when you were in the audience watching
He always likes your smile especially when you were watching him
So when the two of you were strolling around near the church of Monstad
He decided that he was going to confess today
Years of being alone and he finally get what Vanessa told him about meeting the right person
“Y/N, I love you-”
“Aww, Venti, I love you too!”
“Really?!” - Venti very excitedly
“Yeah! I love you as a friend! We’re like besties!”
Dvalin felt that
Andrius felt that
Hell even Vanessa felt that from Celestia
“Oh I got to go, bestie, I have something to do! See you tomorrow!”
Lately, the winds of Monstad have been depressing?
“I don’t understand! I thought they liked me back!” Venti his chugging his alcohol while Diluc looked at him in irritation
Diluc wants to kick him out but Venti is Monstad’s archon so he decided against it
“Venti! There you are!” - you
Venti hears your voice and because his drunk his happy instead of upset
He throws himself at you in an attempt of a sloppy hug
“Y/N! I love you~”
“I love you too, we are fr-”
“NO! I LOVE YOU LIKE A SIGNIFICANT OTHER I LOVE YOU! THAT TYPE OF LOVE THAT IF YOU ASK ME TO FIGHT MORAX I WOULD!”
Tumblr media
Xiao
When Xiao first had these feelings he was confused
He lived a long life and this was the first time in his life where when he sees someone his chest becomes constricted and warm
“Xiao! Do you like traveler!?” - you excitedly
Xiao felt a tightening in his chest not that good type but am i being stab right now type of tightening
His answer would usually be along the lines of no and he can’t have relationships with mortals
He usually has a lot more patience with you compared to others but hearing you say that he looks good with someone else just made something in him snap
He didn’t mean to shout at you nor did he mean it when he said you should leave him alone
That’s why he's waiting for you at Wangshun Inn, his loneliness grew into worry when after 2 days you weren’t back yet
Upon eavesdropping around he also found out that no one has seen you and your last known location was Mt. Hulao and he immediately began to worry because that place was prohibited to humans
“Are you looking for someone?” - Mountain Sharper appeared behind Xiao as he reached the top of Mt. Hulao. “Are you looking for a mortal perhaps?”
“How did-”
“-That mortal is pretty noisy, they don’t stop talking and they know you.”
Oh, the warm feeling in his chest is back because they were talking about him which means that they weren’t angry at him!
“Where are they!?” Xiao would realize and I swear to you his ready to break every amber rock around Mt.Hulao
“Calm down, they are currently collecting Qingxin flowers”
Right on cue, “XIAO!? IS THAT YOU!?” he heard your voice from behind him, when he saw you, he immediately rushes to you and hugs you
“What are you doing here!?” Xiao would ask, his voice was raised only because of relief
“Oh, I got lost! And Moon Sharper here saw me, we ended up chatting and I guess I forgot the time, he shared so many stories about y- WHY DO YOU LOOK LIKE THAT ARE YOU HURT!?”
“I’m alright… I just… I m-miss…”
Moon Sharper is just looking at this scene and he knows he's about to spill the hottest tea next time the adeptus (idk plural form okay) have a dinner party
Tumblr media
Xingqiu
At first glance, it might look like that he isn’t affected at all
But internal his boiling
WHY WERE YOU SO DENSE
IF IT WEREN’T FOR HIS CLAN'S TEACHING AND WHAT NOT HIS PROBABLY ABOUT TO ASK YOU FOR A FIGHT
“You’ll make a great husband someday Xingqiu, I know it! Your future wife would be so happy!”
“I want you to be my wife though”
“What was that?”
“NOTHING!”
He knows he needs to move so he can win your heart but how can he when you were dodging every advance he makes
What is more frustrating is that YOU ARE NOT EVEN DOING IT ON PURPOSE
As an author he wants to experience romance first hand, so he tries to be romantic about it but this was frustrating
He decided to pull his last technique from his sleeves
He lent you a very romantic book and between one of the pages he inserted a paper that read “I wish for you to be my muse.”
If that doesn’t work Xingqiu is going to ask you to fight him
Tumblr media
Zhongli
Zhongli, Rex Lapis aka Morax has lived thousands of years
Yet this is the first time he encountered someone so dense at first he taught you were just kidding and pretending but when he described what he likes in someone which was pertaining to you
You simply said “WOW THEY SOUND WONDERFUL AND YOU MUST REALLY LIKE THEM BECAUSE YOU SOUND SO IN LOVE” at his face with genuine awe, there was no sign of you being flustered and whatnot
Hu Tao was there to witness this and the younger female had a good laugh when she witnessed this
Zhongli is now praying to Guizhong for help and patience
He first wondered if the reason for such behavior was because you dislike him but it wasn’t the case because you would always smile when you see him
Which makes his knees very weak
In heaven, all the dead gods are laughing at him
He has lived for so many years and yet he doesn’t know what to do because he wants to spend years with you
But a part of him says this isn’t right because his an immortal and you were a mortal, someday him being a former god would drive an enigma in the future
That’s why he was also hesitating on his part
“Zhongli, look-look! A merchant from Monstad gave me a Cecilia!” - you snapping him from his thought, he's a tall man so you had to tip-toe to put the flower in his hair
“There you look even prettier now!” - you smiling up to him
As you were withdrawing your hand, Zhongli grabs it and places it in front of his lips
“I love you Y/N”

YO IM GLAD YOU LIKED IT,, SAME PUPPY GIRLS ARE PERFECTION and i can't think a scenario where there's no breedin cause 😩😩 breeding kink is,, hot 🌚 that 70% is deserved... pls the thought of dem insides painted white cause you're so full of his cum,, cock pumping in and out of your sensitive puffy pussy, your folded legs giving full access to 'bedo, tail down so nothing gets in the way of his dick— he'll hold your thighs as he just hits your deepest parts in that position, your delicious moans urging him to go further and further. the way you desperately need to cling to him, feel his body against yours as he kept pounding your squishy and moist insides, the sound of his balls smacking your skin with no mercy making you dumb. maybe he'd be a bit surprised by your high libido, since you never told him about your heats— he's never seen you in such a whiny, needy state... the usually chirpy puppy girl, who got into trouble she could have avoided, chasing after cicins because she thought they were little toys at the start, helped him reorganize his lab with her tail wagging all over the place which somehow made him feel warm— suddenly craved for him to knock her up and fill her with his pretty cock? begged for it?
say no more. there will be no empty spaces, he ensures you will be full of his cum. after all, how can he hold back when you make such lewd faces and noises for him? and him only?
i am in heaven or well hell 🛐🛐 not me thinking about him brat-taming u around the "trouble you coul have avoided" part or smth— WAIT DON'T— gets bonked
AND HEY THAT'S GOOD TO KNOW :D HUGS just reading you've been well made me smile hh— what made ya feel good? is it just a good day or did something happen,, if i may ask? 💫 did he come home bby 👀🛐
as for me i've been pretty good myself! my summons suck tho cause i already used all of my primos for hu tao thoma and childe... so doubt i'll get albedo- im only at 22 pity, don't think i can reach that many primos before the banner ends :,) i might as well wait for the next rerun cause i know for a fact that if i spend my money on genshin i will get addicted... so i must hold back 😤
I GOT BEST BOY BENNETT THO THATS A BIG WIN FOR ME
HOW BOUT YOU WHAT DID YOU GET? 🛐🛐 best part is that the sword the event gives you is perfect for bedo is it not? so that's another win— PLS I HOPE HE COMIN HOME AT 30 PITY SOMEHOW MY GAME HAS TO DO MIRACLES WPNFRJRU
- Hug Anon
okay but albedo's pretty little puppy girl bouncing on his cock while he scratches her behind the ears <333 him rawing you on his desk, experiments long forgotten, while your tail wraps around him, pulling his cock deeper into your drippy cunt <33 i can imagine him tracking your heats, being sure to lock the door to his lab whenever they were due. maybe he would even be sure to edge himself, wanting to have lots and lots of cum to stuff into you when you needed it <333 you'd be whining about wanting your belly to be swollen with a litter of his pups, which would only make him thrust into you faster. i think i may be a whore for this man.
BRAT TAMER ALBEDO THOUGH ??? you can't just throw something like that out there and run :((( once he's finally used to his puppy, maybe she got super needy while sucrose or timaeus was in the lab, sitting on his lap to rut against his thighs. once they left he would sit and tell you how he didn't want to punish you, but his pretty pup needed to be taught a lesson <333 imagine him making you help out with one of his "experiments" as your punishment, only to feed you an aphrodisiac !! sweet bedo only wanted to see how long his pet could last without coming undone, though it would quickly turn into seeing how many times he could make you cum while you were extra sensitive <333
NOW TO SWITCH IT UP A SEC,, i'm just not feeling terrible anymore, so a little improvement can do wonders haha. i also did get albedo, definitely did not buy him CONGRATS ON BENNY THO !!! i don't really use him much but mine's c4 or 5 now since i got a couple copies of him <33 the event sword is also perfect for albedo !! i have it maxed out, just waiting for the next part of the event so i can get it to r5 :(( BUT GOOD LUCK THO BBY I HOPE U GET HIM AT LOW PITY

i like writing angst okay!! it’s fun and easy to do!!!!! i am a firm believer in god of love tsaritsa i will die on this hill. anyways i listened to deltarune music while writing this i think that’s funny
Angst w/ happy ending
1175 words
TW: Death + blood
Tumblr media
[name] is a human and zhongli is a god so obviously there’s going to be a time where he sees them die. he just didn’t think it was going to be this soon — [name]’s bloody and increasingly cold body trembling in his arms as they fought desperately to keep her eyes open. the remains of celestia burned in the background, debris scattered across the floating ground.
[name] can hear zhongli crying. they don’t want their last moments with zhongli to be sad, so they shakily reach up to his face to wipe his tears away. “it’s okay,” they reassured, voice raspy from trying not to cough up more blood, “we knew this was going to happen. please don’t cry over me.”
that just makes zhongli cry even harder. frantically, they pull [name] close. “don’t say that. you’re going to be fine.” zhongli wishes he could believe himself.
[name] smiles bittersweetly at them. “can you tell me a story one last time before i go?”
“you’re not going anywhere,” zhongli demands, although not sure who to.
“zhongli,” they plead with the last of their energy, “it’s too late. don’t let your last memory of me be sad…” [name] forces themself to keep smiling as if nothing was wrong. “please… do you remember when we met…?”
zhongli nodded quickly, noticing that [name]’s life was slipping away fast. “it was two weeks before the rite of descension,” zhongli recalled fondly, already heartbroken at the incoming loss. “your corrected a pic storyteller on the history of azhdaha. i thought it was so cute that you’re this passionate and i knew i wanted to be with you.”
“it rained that day,” [name] took over as their eyes fluttered shut. “i didn’t have anywhere to go yet so you let me hang out in wangsheng with you and hu tao… you told me you admired my knowledge on liyue’s history and then you went on a huge rant about it…” [name] had to stop to giggle a bit. a few droplets of blood dripped down from their lips. “i’m gonna miss that about you. i always thought it was adorable when you did that.”
zhongli wiped the blood from their lips, leaving a thin red stain across [name]’s skin. “stop talking about yourself like you’re dead already.”
“you started telling me all the things i needed to know about liyue,” [name] continued, ignoring zhongli’s pained response. “i remember thinking you were like morax… i cried after the rite of descension, but you were there to comfort me… heh, and it turns out you were morax all along…! you… you always hated it when i… called you that…”
zhongli could feel [name] becoming still in his grasp. “[name], no. don’t leave me, please…” they cried helplessly.
the other archons had finally taken account of the absence of their comrade. they were supposed to be fighting alongside [name] in the battle against celestia, and though they’d won, the destructive aftermath separated the seven. the tsaritsa ran towards the sound of zhongli’s hurt cries, knowing all too well what had to have happened.
“i’m not leaving you, qīn ài de. i’ll always live in your memories… i know you won’t forget me… you won’t forget me… right?” [name] managed.
“i could never forget you,” zhongli cooed, realizing that their time with [name] was almost out. “i love you, darling.”
[name] smiled one last time. “i love you too.”
zhongli clutched [name]’s now-lifeless body to his chest, quietly sobbing at the loss of his beloved spouse. the tsaritsa reached zhongli a second too late. “morax,” she called gently, placing a hand on their shoulder, “i’m so sorry…” zhongli was silent. there wasn’t anything left to say. “you really love them… ” the tsaritsa observed. “…morax, i may be able to bring them back if your love is strong enough.”
“how…?” zhongli questioned almost inaudibly, not bothering to look up at his friend.
“i’ve only been able to do this a few times before, so it might not work, but it’s worth a try,” she warned. “i want you to remember all of your love for [name]. think of your fondest memories with them.” zhongli was already doing that. the tsaritsa could tell too, she just wanted him to feel like he was doing the right thing. she kneeled beside zhongli, peering at her friend with sympathy. “here, let me see them.”
zhongli wanted to refuse. they just lost [name], the last thing on their mind was handing them over to someone else. but, if it meant bringing them back to life, zhongli would do anything. he begrudgingly allowed the tsaritsa to hold [name] instead.
the tsaritsa closed her eyes as she channeled her archaic powers as the god of love. intricate ice fractals danced across [name]’s skin upon contact with the tsaritsa. the ice traced over every wound they had, magically healing them as they disappeared. the final fractal appeared on [name]’s lips, removing the bloodstain from earlier and returning [name] to their true beauty. zhongli wanted to cry at the sight of them unscathed.
“morax,” the tsaritsa said as she cradled [name] in her arms, “take them. they need you now.” once zhongli regained protection of [name]’s limp form, the tsaritsa began giving instructions again. “i need you to close your eyes and focus on your love.” zhongli sighed as they closed their eyes. to solely focus on love, zhongli would have to push the new grief away. it was nearly impossible.
the lack of sight helped — if zhongli didn’t look at [name] dead, then he could just pretend they were alive and sleeping. zhongli recalled their first lantern rite together, where [name] wished for the world to be free from celestia. they remembered the day [name] proposed, saying they couldn’t believe they were so lucky to be loved by an archon. of course i love you, zhongli thought. it’s impossible not to love you. zhongli felt movement in his arms — [name]. they were breathing. his eyes shot open, fixated on the unconscious form of their revived lover.
“it worked,” the tsaritsa stated, in awe of her own capabilities and zhongli’s adoration for a mere mortal. “we need to get them somewhere safe.”
-
when [name] woke up, they were greeted with the familiar warmth of the bed they shared with zhongli. he wasn’t in the bedroom, though, leaving [name] deeply confused. they remembered everything. was this what heaven was like? was heaven just a replica of your real life?
they weakly pushed themself out of bed, nearly falling to the floor in the process, and opened the door to the living room. zhongli stood at the front door, turned away as if they had just closed it. he turned around as soon as he heard the door creak open and bolted to [name]’s side. “[name]!” they exclaimed as they embraced [name], “you’re back… ”
[name] carefully wrapped their arms around zhongli’s waist, nuzzling into his chest and admiring the warmth that emanated from him. “i told you i wouldn’t leave you.”

Yoimiya and Kazuha fluffy smut to celebrate you gettin her 😏
Festive reunion
[Warning, it’s smut, duh…]
Speechless, it was never a word in Yoimiya’s vocabulary. It also was the last word anyone would use to describe her. On a normal day she was the chatter box of any conversation bringing zest and joy to any topic. However, today was a bit different. The hot blooded extrovert was had prepared herself to meet tons of new people now that she had been summoned to fight alongside Aether and his companions. Yoimiya had failed to realize one of them was Kazuha. It wasn’t like she forgot him. Far from it. There wasn’t a day since his departure that Yoimiya didn’t think about him and his flowery words that contrasted yet complimented her straight forward thinking. Looks like the feelings were mutual, because the wandering samurai was showing a more direct side of himself she’d never seen. With her hand in his, Kazuha led her to his temporary home inside a magical teapot.
Yoimiya couldn’t help but blush. She had only just showed up! Not only that, but he had gotten permission to perform the wishing by himself, creating this alone time. What are the chances the others knew his intentions to begin with? Oh her poor heart couldn’t handle that level of embarrassment!
“Are you okay?” He asked.
“H-Huh? What’s up?”
“Your face, it’s bright red.”
Yeah no kidding! Anyone’s would be in this situation. Being swept into romance moments after showing up somewhere was a lot to process for her.
“I’m fine. Hehe Just a little hot outside and you know…stuff.” She smiled sheepishly, fidgeting a bit.
Kazuha gave his own gentle smile as he blushed lightly. “Guess I’m going a little fast huh? Sorry, we take things slo-”
“No! Uhh I mean…it’s okay, really. Actually I’m extremely flattered. I just never expected this as my welcome present. I was expecting more of a meet and greet.” She giggled, “but…this is nice too. Now I don’t have to wonder if you missed me.”
“Days didn’t feel nearly as bright without you.”
Great. Her face might as be as red as her vision. Her heart fluttered each step they took until they finally walked into the modest home Kazuha made form himself. It was obvious he had found interest in Liyue aesthetic, except a fireplace in the living room that felt slightly out of place, yet cozy nonetheless.
Yoimiya turned around to close the door behind her. The sudden feeling of Kazuha’s arms wrapping around her waist gave her a jolt. The young man held her close and Yoimiya could feel the heat from his face tickle her back as he pressed his head against it.
“Forgive me, but it’s hard to control myself. It’s…been quite some time, hasn’t it?
“Yeah, it has.” She could feel his lips kiss her nape, grazing her neck and nipping on pale flesh until a red mark was left behind. Yoimiya closed her eyes and exposed more of her neck for him to have, gasping from contact. She leaned forward slightly, pushing her butt against his pelvis for friction. Her left breast was soon claimed right after, his fingers slipping through the bindings.
“Mmmm Kazuha~” Another moan escaped her when Kazuha’s other hand made its way under her yukata, making short work of those bindings as well. The flustered pyro bit her lip when she felt two digits slip inside. Yoimiya braced her arms against the door while she let her lover take control.
Kazuha could feel her grip around his fingers and he ran them over her most sensitive spots. “To think you’re already this wet?”
“I missed you too ya know!?” She blurted out, blushing at her confession. “Please don’t tease me.”
“Bend over more for me.”
Yoimiya did just that. Straight forward Kazuha was something she didn’t know she needed in her life. He removed his fingers from her body and bunched up her clothes. Her face grew hotter feeling the bindings on her fall off her, exposing her body. Fingers gripped her plump rear and the chill of one running down her slit would’ve made her yelp if it wasn’t for what happened next. The heat of Kazuha’s breath.
“Kazuha? What- Aaah!”
He slipped his tongue inside her dripping core, lapping up her essence and getting lost in her scent. Both his hands help support her legs as they trembled from his assault. The sound of her moans only spurred him to completely devour her.
“KAZUHA!!” She yelled, moaning heavily. She could feel his tongue flatten out and swirl around to rake every spot. “I-I said no teasing!” His fingers dug into her damp thighs as he continued to eat her out. Yoimiya’s body instinctively bent over more to allow him deeper reach. Her moans turned to panting. Kazuha wasn’t gonna let her go. The sound of her own arousal and his dramatic slurping noises only turned her on more like he knew it would.
Yoimiya dropped her head and look to the floor. That’s when she caught sight of Kazuha’s position, on his knees and his length already freed. The member was already hard and dripping precum in anticipation. Was it always that big? In a few short moments, that was going to be…just thinking about it made her mind go blank and body tense.
Her first orgasm hit hard, making her scream as Kazuha continued tasting the wave of pleasure that came with her orgasm, until he licked up the majority. Kazuha stood up, wiping his face and catching his breath as he admired the sight of Yoimiya trembling and still bent over. Her skin had gotten redder and a thin layer of sweat had started.
“You’re so gorgeous…”
“Shut up. I don’t wanna hear that while I’m this.” She muttered. Yoimiya felt embarrassed enough to just die! They’ve been intimate before, but knowing Kazuha was seeing her like this was always going to be too much to handle.
“Do you wanna stay like that?”
She nodded, “looking at you right now would be too much.”
Kazuha could see the tips of her ears turn bright red. He wanted to listen, but found himself denying the mercy.
Yoimiya was ready for him to continue until she felt felt his hand on her chest raise her up enough for his face to come over her right shoulder. Yet again the girl was speechless upon staring into his eyes and seeing his playful smirk.
“I missed all of you. That includes your eyes.” Not holding back, Kazuha captured her lips.
Yoimiya felt her heart pound and head go into a haze. She openly invited his mouth to conquer her own. Not like she was really using it right now anyways. The heat of his member pressed against her entrance and with a few hip movements, slipped inside. Yoimiya whimpered from the feeling of being spread open so quickly. Kazuha’s hips begin smacking against her rear. Whimpers turned to yelps between the patient kiss. How long had it been since she felt full? Was Kazuha always this warm? Was his grasp on her this good? All these things made Yoimiya kiss him harder, wanting him to continue this assertiveness.
Kazuha was in no better shape. Distance had only strengthened their yearning. Kazuha added his own gasps and grown into the mix. Yoimiya had a grip on him that made his hips move on their own. The heat and wetness of her core made him ache in the best way. Their lips parted to only paint and whisper sweet nothings as their bodies gave into pleasure.
“Kazu~ more…more~”
“You’re everything when you beg like this.”
“Mmmph~ meanie. I-aahh…want another kiss.”
Kazuha obeyed, giving her what she craved without question. Yoimiya was always cute, but the blush across her face brought it to another level. Kazuha could only be weak to it.
“Yoi, I’m…”
“Me too.” She gasped, reaching the end of her rope. Yoimiya stole another, longer kiss; moaning heavily as she came.
Kazuha could only thrust a few more times before her tightness overwhelmed him. He gave one last thrust, cumming inside her. He pulled from the kiss to let her breathe while he peppered her ear with kisses.
Yoimiya’s entire body shuttered upon feeling his warmth shoot inside. The little nips and pecks Kazuha gave her made her giggle, putting a smile on het face as she continued to catch her breath.
“Kazu, that tickles hehe.”
“Now how am I supposed to stop with you calling me that, Yoi?” He teased, continued his kisses. He slowly lowered both of them down to the floor. Yoimiya held his face and the two were finally face to face properly. He smiled at the girl who smiled back with kind eyes and a pinkish red blush. “Your face is more beautiful than any sunset.”
Yoimiya couldn’t help but avert her gaze briefly before staring back. “It’s dangerous to spoil a girl with talk like that. Especially after what we just did.”
“Heh, I can’t name a moment more perfect to spoil someone than this.” Kazuha kissed her forehead. “I love you. I’m glad you’re here.”
“Glad to be here.” She put her arms over shoulders and around his neck. “More kisses please.” Her heart danced so much Yoimiya thought she was at a fireworks festival. “Let’s love each other here a little longer.”
xxxxx
“Hello everyone, I’m Yoimiya!” She said to her new teammates, placing her hands on her hips and glowing like the sun; her time with Kazuha only adding to her radiance.
Many waved happily upon her entrance, while I few people like Aether, Beidou, and even Hu Tao noticed the marks on Yoimiya’s neck. They looked at Kazuha with a cheeky grin he did his best to ignore, but even laid back samurai couldn’t help but smile sheepishly.

In My Dreams V
Characters: Zhongli, fm!reader
Word Count: 3,492
Warnings: None
Premise: The past is many things. Something to admire, something to learn from, something to hold dear. And yet how unreliable it can be, especially in the hands of ghosts.
In which the reader dreams of the past.
Author’s Note: This one is probably the one that deviates most from the original prompt. Still I enjoyed writing it a lot, and I hope you enjoy reading it.
This is the end! Thank you for reading and for your patience and I hope you enjoyed!
Zhongli
There was a young man standing in front of you. Standing in sharp contrast to the darkened landscape around him he naturally drew your eye. You stood facing him, making no effort to approach him. You weren’t even sure you’d be able to if you tried.
The morning sunlight burst forth suddenly from behind you eyelids. Blinking heavily you let out a groan, turning over and smashing your face into the nearest pillow, willing yourself to go back to sleep. A familiar chuckle sounded next to you as a kiss was planted on your cheek.
“You cannot evade the day forever my love. There is much to be done.”
“Five more minutes…”
“If I let you sleep five more minutes then it will surely turn into at least an hour. Besides, did you not tell me once that five minutes was hardly any sleep time at all?”
“Maybe.” You grumbled.
Sitting up you shielded your eyes with your hand. Though you appreciated the heavy curtains that kept the light out in the morning, you had to admit the adjustment every day could be difficult. Especially when your dreams had been so muted. What had you been dreaming of again? Random thoughts flower in and out of your head. Sometimes about a dark landscape. And maybe a person? You supposed it didn’t really matter.
Gathering your clothes you strapped your adventuring belt across your waist. Frowning at the weight of one of the bags you reached your hand into the satchel. Your fingers found rough stone, and when pulling the offending object out you found yourself face to face with a sort of mineral you’d never seen before.
“Hey, Zhongli?”
“Yes my love?”
“Tell me, have you ever seen this before?”
As you held the crystal out to Zhongli you could swear a flicker of darkness shadowed his eyes. Walking over to take the mineral out of your hand he turned it over gently, an expression of stony focus coating his features.
The crystal seemed to glow slightly. Reddish in hue it seemed to have been shot through with gold, if that was possible of a rock. The rusted red color was opaque, and the features of Zhongli’s hands faded into shadow underneath the mineral. Yet still it seemed almost delicate, the golden glow giving it a sense of fragility that undermined its general heaviness.
“This mineral, it is very strange. It reminds me of something I saw once, long ago, but the makeup is different. I cannot even be sure it is not a combination of various minerals. How very strange.”
“Do you think there’s something wrong?” You asked, surprised by the quiet intensity in Zhongli’s words.
“I doubt it very much. Thankfully I doubt that a single odd crystal could shake the foundations of Liyue. Still, it is very strange.” He rolled it over one more time before looking back into your eyes, stare deadly serious. “Do you mind if I keep this for a little while? I promise I shall return it, only there is one thing I wish to enquire after.”
“Of course you can! What’s mine is yours and besides, I don’t have any particular attachment to it. I found it on the ground somewhere.”
“Thank you my love.”
Zhongli leaned over to give you a soft kiss. You sighed happily, glad to be immersed in his proximity. Still a piece of you wondered at the look on his face, and the smile that didn’t quite reach his eyes.
The day passed quietly, with no interesting rock discoveries or sudden natural disasters in sight. You’d almost forgotten about the whole rock deal in fact, too busy with the sudden uptick in geovishaps on the plains of Liyue to think about much else. By the time you arrived home that evening your thoughts were filled with nothing other than some rest and time with the one you loved most.
“I’m home!” You announced loudly, taking your shoes off and hanging your pack in its usual spot.
“Welcome back my love.”
“Did you have a good day?” You called out, walking through the hall into the living room. Zhongli was sitting in his usual chair, back facing away from you. Walking over you leaned forward, kissing his cheek before going to face him.
The expression of quiet worry on Zhongli’s face quickly pulled you out of your reverie. Sitting down on his lap you pushed the hair out of his eyes, examining him for any fatigue.
“Is something wrong? Did Hu Tao give you a hard time?”
“Work was fine my love, do not worry. It is only the gemstone you gave to me, it… it is very strange.”
“Strange how?” You asked, a chill running down your spine.
“Only that it is quite unique, so unique in fact that I have never seen a mineral or crystal formation like it. As I said there was once a mineral similar in nature, but the means to that mineral was long ago destroyed, and the formation was different.”
“Was the other mineral dangerous?”
“Not intrinsically. Nor can I sense any intrinsic danger from this mineral. Still, I think you ought to keep it hidden for some time. Citizens would surely be curious, and until I can be sure that this symbolizes no threat to Liyue I would not speak of it.”
“Did you notify the Qixing?”
“I informed Ningguang about it today. I trust that she will come to a decision in regards to any monitoring by the Qixing. Still, there are a few things I wish to observe.” Glancing up at your face Zhongli softened a bit, smiling slightly. “Do not worry my love, I am sure there is nothing to fear.”
“I’m sure you’re right.” You replied. But the sense of mundane bliss that had coated you was now shattered, and you found threads of anxiety tugging at your brain, threatening to consume your thoughts and lead you down the path of worrying.
The young man was back that night, once more faraway and unapproachable. This time however his hand was stretched out, palm up, as if waiting for something.
“What do you want?” You called out. There was no reply.
Suddenly the side of your nightdress grew heavy. Reaching into your pocket you pulled out the gemstone, shining faintly in the dark.
“This? What is it?”
The young man smiled, eyes glinting.
“That is the truth?”
You blinked, eyes useless in the dark that still enveloped the world. What time was it? You lay on your back, listening to the soft sighs of your partner, the noise mixing with the soft sound of birds chirping; soon it would be daytime. You sighed, staring up at the ceiling. You’d been dreaming about something, what was it? It was somehow familiar, as if you’d dreamt it before, though surely it wasn’t a normal recurring dream, as you couldn’t seem to remember it. Still, it had made you uneasy, though you weren’t sure why.
Rolling over to face your partner you closed your eyes. No use thinking about it now. What you couldn’t remember you couldn’t remember. Besides, all you wanted to do was sleep.
The morning came far too soon, and with it the knowledge of a busy day that stretched out before you. Blinking away your fatigue you kissed Zhongli an absentminded goodbye before dragging yourself out the door. Collecting your commissions with equal sluggishness you ignored the stares from other Guild members, the quiet concern of Katheryne as she asked if you had slept alright.
Thankfully the day was gorgeous and the workload relatively light. Leaning against a rock, letting the grass of the Liyue plains tickle your hand you stared up at the blue sky. Absentmindedly you wondered again about the dream. What had it been about? Closing your eyes you tried to call it back. The lazy afternoon sun shined down upon you. Soon you found your thoughts melding together and before you knew it you slipped off into sleep.
There was a young man standing in front of you, eyes stony, smile superficial. You glanced around, confused by the black landscape in which you found yourself. This must be a dream. And yet it seemed so familiar that you were sure you’d dreamt this before.
“What do you want?” You called out. Something flickered in your memory. The gemstone, and the fact this young man had reached out for it.
“The truth.” The young man’s smile grew wider, somehow distorted and foreboding.
“What do you mean by the truth?”
“The truth that they wish to hide. The truth that only they can speak.”
“Who do you mean by that?” You felt panic rising as the dream weighed heavy on you. “What do you mean?”
But the young man said nothing. He merely smiled. Suddenly the black seemed to shatter like glass, falling onto your head and drowning you in pitch.
You lurched forward, breath harsh in your lungs. Standing up you glanced around wildly. That dream, what had that dream been? Searching your pockets you stopped, realizing that Zhongli had never given the crystal back. The memory of your dream, combined with the knowledge that the subject must’ve been the same as the one the previous night, left you stunned. More than shock however you felt panic, pure panic at what you’d just experienced. What did that young man mean? What did he want?
You picked up your equipment, not bothering to organize anything. Making your way down the slopes, the nearest waypoint over the crest of a rocky hill, you could think of only one thing. Zhongli, you had to tell Zhongli. Only he could tell you the answers, only he could stop this panic from consuming you. Looking up at the still blue sky you found yourself releasing a prayer into the wind. Please let everything be alright, please let nothing come crashing down.
The Wangsheng Funeral Parlor was a surprisingly comfortable space, decorated to match the appearance of a tea room rather than a place where the dead were prepared for their final departure. Normally you appreciated this strangely homey atmosphere, so eagerly and carefully cultivated by Hu Tao. Today, however, you felt only urgency. Making your way down the familiar corridors you yanked the door to Zhongli’s office open, praying that he would be inside.
The sight of your love at work was always compelling. Though seriousness and concentration marked his features, the quiet passion for history and tradition could also be seen, softening his gaze and turning what might have been an unapproachable figure into one of surprising comfort. Glancing up at the sound of the door Zhongli smiled softly; a smile that quickly morphed into a frown as he took in your agitated state.
“My love, what is wrong?”
Zhongli stood up, making his way over to you. Dropping your equipment on the floor you launched yourself into his arms. Breathing in his comforting presence you felt your heartrate slow slightly, the shaking you hadn’t even been aware of subsiding.
“Are you alright?” Zhongli’s voice was soft and full of worry.
“I, I don’t know,” you took in a shaky breath, relaxing as Zhongli wrapped his arms around your waist, “I fell asleep while on a break and I dreamt something very, strange.”
Recounting the dream you watched as Zhongli’s eyes darkened. When you were done he pulled you into a tight hug. Carding his fingers through your hair you felt his arms tighten around you, a silent affirmation of his worry.
“I don’t know what to do,” you murmured into his shoulder, “I know it’s just a dream, but it seems so real, so frightening.”
“It will be alright my love. I promise, nothing ill will come to you, or to the people of Liyue.”
“I wonder what he meant,” you shivered slightly, “I wonder who he meant by ‘they’.”
You weren’t sure if you’d truly felt Zhongli freeze for a moment, so focused were you on the emotions that roiled inside your heart.
The young man seemed angrier than he had previously. Glaring at you from across the darkened landscape he shook his head in what seemed to be disgust.
“You didn’t confront him about it.”
“Confront who?” You asked, defensiveness mixing with the panic welling up once more inside of you.
“The hypocrite. The one who claims to love humans while crushing them under his heel.”
“I don’t know who you’re talking about.”
“You do! You’re simply a traitor. You betrayed me, you betrayed the rest of our family. You’ve cursed yourself.”
“I haven’t betrayed anyone!” You heard the pitch of your voice rising. “I don’t know what you’re talking about!”
“You could’ve made us so happy. You could’ve continued our legacy. Instead your cursed us, instead you cursed yourself. You’re just like them, you’re just like the people who killed us!”
You jolted awake, gasping as you threw the coverlet off you, the heat oppressive and sticky against your sweat drenched skin. Sitting up you forced air into your lungs, breathing in and out, trying to match your rhythm with Zhongli’s, who slept quietly next to you. Gazing down at him you turned the words of your dream back over in your head. “You’re simply a traitor… You’ve cursed yourself.” The words were vague, but you felt a cold sensation creep over you, the unspoken sound of pieces fitting into place and fear clouding your mind.
The next day you could barely drag yourself out of bed, having spent the rest of the night sitting on the floor as thoughts raced through your head. Though you were sure Zhongli had asked you about your current state you couldn’t truly remember any conversation, and the trip to the Guild seemed longer than usual as you found yourself making wrong turns and bumping into various walls.
The commissions of the day certainly didn’t help. Ordered to chase a few Fatui members out of Liyue, or at least stop them from attacking every adventurer in the City, you felt your stomach dropped as you realized the location was that of where you’d found the fateful stone. Climbing over mountain ridges and dodging the occasional hilichurls camp you felt your limbs dragging underneath you. Though there couldn’t have been more than a few meters between you and the Fatui members it felt as if there were actually miles.
The situation only got worse when you finally scaled the last crest, pulling yourself up before two Hydro Legionnaires and an Anemo Vanguard. Summoning your claymore you felt as if your weapon had gotten heavier, and your steps were awkward and unsure as you charged the all too prepared Fatui members.
You swings sliced through the air as if it were made of gel, your steps stumbling and unsure. The Skirmishers dodged your strikes easily, laughing openly and jeering at you to make another dive towards them. You ignored their taunts, trying to focus on your breathing, on keeping your steps uniform and controlled. Still you knew that you were in over your head. You didn’t know what was going to happen, regretted that you hadn’t asked for help or simply requested a day off. Now however you were stuck, locked into a battle you knew you were going to lose.
Eventually the Anemo seemed to tired of your exhausted movements. Running up towards you, you felt your lungs burn as air rammed straight into your chest. Teetering on the edge of the mountain you felt yourself fall backwards. Seeing the sky above you, you let yourself scream. How could you have been so careless? How could you have failed so quickly? Closing your eyes you wished that you might faint. Whatever was at the bottom of this fall, it wasn’t going to be pretty.
However just as soon as your eyes closed you felt your fall broken. Snapping your eyes open you were met with the sight of Zhongli, face stony, eyes glowing preternaturally. Floating down softly he deposited you on a grass ridge of the mountain. Saying nothing he seemed to float upward into the air, aiming right towards where the Fatui were gathered. Sighing you closed your eyes once more, stilling the emotions that swirled inside you, the knowledge that you may have just escaped serious injury or worse. Slumping forward you felt tears at the edges of your eyes. You were tired. You were oh so tired.
“Are you hurt?” Zhongli’s voice was soothing, even in its urgency.
“I’m fine,” you opened your eyes to gaze up at your partner who crouched before you, “I’m just shaken.”
“I should have paid more attention to your physical state this morning,” Zhongli frowned, his smooth features contrasting the emotions that roiled in his eyes, “if I had not been here you may have died.”
“But you were here. Why?”
“This place, it was once a very important place of trade. I returned here to see if there were any lingering traces of that trade, those contracts. It is where I saw the ore that is mimicked in the mineral you found.”
“I see.” You paused, unsure if you wanted your next words released into the world. “Zhongli?”
“Yes my love?”
“The tyrant that boy in my dream mentioned, is that you?”
Zhongli was silent for some time, his deepening frown the only indication he had heard you. Finally he sighed. Sitting down next to you he gazed out onto the landscape, surveying it as he must’ve done all those years as Rex Lapis.
“The place that I mentioned, the origin of the ore from which yours takes its likeness, was a kingdom unlike the Seven which now dominate Teyvat. It was created only by humans, untouched by the hands of a god or higher being. It dabble in alchemy, created stones that could not be found anywhere else. And then, long ago, it was razed to the ground.”
“By who?”
“By the seven archons.” Zhongli’s features were still, his eyes giving away no tangible emotion, no sense of loss or satisfaction or hate.
“I see.”
“The people of the land scattered. Yet some would not forget the destruction of their kingdom. They banded together, creating the Abyss. They hold the old artifacts of their city dear, the prospect of revenge even more so. Their hatred of the Seven runs deep.”
“And the young man who is in my dreams is part of the Abyss?”
“It appears to be that way. Yet there is something about your descriptions, about the stone. The Abyss has never before been able to manipulate people’s dreams. There is something about that young man that is foreign even to them.”
“Yet he must believe in the Abyss very deeply.” You remarked.
“Indeed.”
Zhongli said nothing more, simply continuing to look out over the mountain. You wondered if he held any regrets for the place he destroyed, if he wondered what might come to pass should Liyue be subject to such a thing. Yet you couldn’t find it in you to chastise him. Somehow you knew, the wounds that he already carried would be little helped by your words.
“Thank you for telling me.” You leaned over to lay your hand over your partner. Finally breaking his stare Zhongli gazed at you, face still as ever, eyes tinged with an ancient melancholy.
“I hope I have not betrayed you, or the contract of our trust.”
“How could it be a betrayal if I never asked or knew about it?” You leaned over to press a soft kiss on Zhongli’s forehead. “I’m only glad you told me now.”
The ex-archon’s frame seemed to relax a little. Leaning over he cupped your cheek, brushing his lips softly against yours.
“Thank you,” he murmured.
“Thank you for telling me.”
“What will you do now?”
“I’m not sure. Hope that whoever he was, that young man has given up on me I guess.”
“I hope you do not feel as if you have betrayed someone.”
“How can I feel betrayal for someone that I don’t know or don’t remember?” You shook your head. “I don’t know what that person is looking for, or what he expects of me. I do know you however, and what I do know is that if loving you has made me a traitor of something, so be it.”
Zhongli’s smile was one that reached his eyes, enveloping you in a silent warmth. As the two of you leaned against one another, gazing out upon the landscape shadowed in the afternoon sun, you let yourself finally relax. Questions still sifted through your head, but you let them fall through your consciousness, like sand through your fingers. You didn’t know whether Zhongli felt regret for what he did, whether or not he felt justified in the destruction he participated in. What you did know however was that you loved him.
And for now that was enough.

BNHA characters and their genshin experiences
I've been way into genshin for the past couple months, if anyone wants to play with me message me (I'm lvl 45 rn) but be warned I have shitty internet and am a partial razor main
but this is mainly characters I can see actually putting time into genshin
Bakugou
Mains: Yanfei
his main has probably been most every pyro character at some point
he wants diluc so bad, whenever someone else complains that diluc ruined their pity he wants to ruin their existence
before yanfei his main was probably hu Tao
hed definitely play klee if he had her lmao but he doesnt and is patiently waiting for her rerun
he has a lot of 5 star characters and is f2p, he can always get banner characters within at least the first pity, but for standard 5 stars hes gotten keqing and qiqi way too many times and hes livid
especially as a previous hu tao main, he was begging for Jean, still has yet to come home
hes probably a very high level, not fully maxed out considering he hasnt been playing all that long, he was probably forced to start when the rest of the bakusquad started playing it and he just took off
has really shitty artifact luck though, like his characters arent bad or anything but they could be so, so much better
and ugh hes livid
explores everything, has 100% exploration everywhere, but hes not bored hes still got artifact farming to do and he enjoys terrorizing enemies
in co op he will set you and everything around you on fire. cope.
Todoroki
Mains: Xiao or Ganyu
probably only started playing because Izuku asked him to
kaeya has also been on his team since day 1 and he is never leaving doesnt matter his friendship has been level 10 for weeks now who cares
was f2p until xiao, who didnt want to come home at all, and he finally got him on his 180th pull
now he doesnt care and will buy primogems whenever hes bored
he has a lot of constellations on kaeya and hes so proud of that, probably c4, is considering buying way too many primogems just so that he can hopefully get his c6
now his artifact luck is godly, you'll go into a domain with him and be like ugh I got nothing and hes like I got a 4 piece set with all attack or crit rate/damage main stats like haha I hate you
but yeah his characters are very strong cause of this, but he doesnt put effort into building a lot of them, he only levels up and gives good artifacts to his team and a couple other characters he likes but everyone else just sits there for a while
hes not super obsessed with the game, but he does think its funny seeing bakugou get so upset whenever they do domains together
doesnt even bother doing daily tasks really unless hes trying to save primogems
Midoriya
Mains: Venti
hes so good at building characters, like he looks up builds online and watches those "do INSANE damage with these tips" videos - and he sets out to get them done and he does
bakugou is once again livid whenever they play together, because Izuku barely has to try and can do so much more damage than him
he does have to put in a lot of work for his artifacts though because he doesnt settle for the okay ones he needs the absolute best
he builds his favorite characters the most ofc, but he evenly distributes things to other characters he knows can be useful- those characters might not have insane stats but they're still good
will not kill timmies pigeons, hell hunt birds in the wild for fun though
definitely a food hoarder
also does a lot of exploring and probably has at least 90% for each area
Kaminari
Mains: Lisa
he is 1000% in love with Lisa, he took her quest very seriously
and so many people say shes horrible, he hates it, hes made her crazy strong out of spite
his team consists of only his wifus- meaning lisa, beidou, rosaria, and mona
for a long time beidou was his second but then rosaria came along and hes like ugh big tiddy goth gf, but lisa still remains queen
these are the only characters hes built though, save for a couple like probably razor and xiangling that he used before he fully got this team
is an ayaka saver
he doesnt care too much about most 5 stars but will sometimes get them just to say he has them, but they end up just sitting there rotting away because he never puts work into them
he does have hu tao though and would get ganyu if she ever had a rerun
Kirishima
Mains: Diluc Razor or Beidou
they're all on his team, the last person switches out but it's most likely zhongli or childe
hes all about dps, support who, he just wants to hit hard and do insane damage , so yes he made dps zhongli
except his builds arent that great, with some help his builds are decent, but on his own hell be like ugh that's some sexy 300 damage
probably didnt know what 90% of the stats even meant and just put random attack ones on people and went yeah that looks good
doesnt really care though and is just having fun so hell play how he wants (as he should) but he does have to ask for help when farming bosses
loves exploring but misses so much, hell get distracted easily and end up just messing around
honestly probably hasnt bothered to ascend his world since he got to level 35, if he did the quest hed probably go straight to 45 and even then hed still have extra exp because hes been there for so long oml
but eventually he would have to and hed be trying to do it like :,) this is fine and it takes him a lot of tries but he gets there eventually,,, only to immediately have another one waiting for him poor baby
Mina
Mains: Klee or Xiangling
thinks baizhu is hot (and is correct) so shes desperately waiting for him
was a I must play 24/7 player until after the last story quest, then she got kinda bored but still plays frequently so she can save primogems and likes playing co op
goes into random peoples worlds a lot
shes got some pretty strong characters and is proud of her account
definitely makes tiktoks of her playing with the bakusquad cause it's always v chaotic (it's probably only denki and kirishima most of the time, but sometimes either bakugou or sero will join in)
does all the genshin tiktok trends
shes a pretty high level since shes probably been playing for a while and has most everything done
she loves helping lower level people though she thinks it's so cute and loves the power she feels when she one shots things
Sero
Mains: Xingqui
hes a pretty casual player, kinda only plays when hes bored or the others make him play with them
but his stats arent too bad, they're fairly average but he gets by
has so many primogems because he doesnt bother to wish on anyone, probably wants kazuha though
he does get super invested into the story though, hes so curious about the world and where the story is gonna lead
probably watches a lot of genshin theory videos and now he over thinks everything in the game
he explores a lot, not so much to find every single thing but more so just because he likes looking at everything, hes very excited for all the new places
Shinsou
Mains: Childe
hes a very thorough player, he explores a lot and puts a lot of work into building his characters
most of them arent all that great but he has plans to fix them
his main team is very well built, not the best, but still good
he struggles when he has to switch someone out for a domain or something because his other characters are so painfully mediocre right now and he feels so bad
shinsou, playing a character that can do like max 200 physical damage and biggest damage is like 2 thousand, repeatedly saying I'm sorry, I'm sorry, you deserve so much better, I'm so sorry
even if it's not the worst damage by far, he feels bad about anything under his main team's stats because they're just so much higher
broke. has no primogems. spent them all on childe and his constellations. does he regret it? well he sure does appreciate his c6 so- hell manage
yes he spent real money on his stupid mass murderer who he loves very much
fights childe every day even though he already collected the treasure, he is but a humble simp
probably decently lucky with wishing like he can beat the 50/50 almost every time
Tamaki
Mains: Chongyun and Sucrose
he only started playing recently, probably kirishima got him into it, but he immediately fell in love
kirishima was like tell me when you're level 16 so we can play together !!! and 2 days later tamaki was level 16 and kiri was shook because how the hell did he do it so fast
hates domains, the dread he feels when he realizes the lower level isnt going to give him anything anymore, and he has to move up to the next, and the next,,
asks kirishima to help him only to realize he isnt much help, is too nice to say that so he let's kiri keep trying- one day kiri gets deku to play with the two of them and tamaki almost cries because finally he can get through the level 90 domain and actually get things ugh
cannot get xingqui to save his life he refuses to come home and poor tamaki is so sad he wants him a lot hes even got all his materials saved up
Monoma
Mains: Ningguang
honestly doesnt play all that much but takes pride in making his account seem v good, is a whale
but hes very good at the game, didnt know what the artifacts were for at first and gave people ones based on how they looked but once he figured it out hes fixed them
is a very standard player, logs in every day to do his commissions and use his resin then logs out, he doesnt put too much time into the game and doesnt worry if he misses a day or two
worships ningguang, also really likes xinyan, his other team members are probably venti and albedo
has every single banner 5 star that has come out since he started playing, probably doesnt have klee though and is v upset about it, and is thanking the heavens for all the reruns lately
also doesnt have keqing and wants her a lot cause he likes her
accepts every single co op request he gets, and despite what a lot may think hes actually a very nice person to play with, not toxic at all - unless you're someone he knows then he might be mean to you shshshsh
Shigaraki
Mains: Razor
haha isnt it so odd that they sound so similar haha (if you dont know they have the same japanese va and I'm guessing hed play it in Japanese)
obviously he can be kinda busy ya know being a criminal and all that but when hes not he puts a lot of time into genshin
sadly doesnt have very good luck when it comes to characters or artifacts, but hes doing his best even with 0 primogems and his 50% crit rate
doesnt explore all that much, most of the exploring hes done came from him trying to get all the oculus
his razor is so good though, except that's the only character hes put tons of effort into
except for now zhongli, hes not replacing razor but ugh does he love zhongli
but his other characters are pretty mediocre at best, he could build them if he wanted to, hes good enough at gaming to figure it out, he just doesnt have the time to spend to do it so he focuses on his main team
also (spoiler alert kinda) when we had to go to the wolf spirit to fight the abyss herald and razor was there, afterwards how razor was saying how he was too weak and stuff and was super sad, at that very moment shiggy decided the entire abyss order had to be destroyed - sorry aether (he chose lumine) but razor is more important than you
