Tldr;
I support the Native women in the band Otkyen, but not the racist and harmful actions of the band manager who is not Native.
While the band manager is problematic, these women are talented. Their talents should be shown and analyzed and hopefully the band manager will fail and these women will be placed in the correct hands. I know people dislike seeing them on their fyp, but I think it's important to share who they are and speak about what wrongs are occurring due to the racism and inaccuracies the band manager is portraying. They deserve to be free musicians and creating content that is their own choice and right of sharing culture.
I'm also sharing this as this is from another project outside of Otkyen. This is an Altaian project with ummetozcan.

Hi, I’ve recently found out through family documentation and genetic testing that I’m a big mix of indigenous ethnicities that follow along the Rhadanite path of the Silk Road. I’m Rhadanite Jew on my mom’s side — which includes Ashkenazi, Kaifeng, Altaian — and Khanty, Native Scots and Gaelic on my dad’s side. I was raised Ashkenazi Jewish and I am Orthodox-Reconstructionist culturally, but not religiously. I’d love to connect with other Jews of all backgrounds, but it would be especially nice to connect with Native Siberians or Altaians, Gaels, or anyone Chinese or of different Chinese ethnic groups. To find out that my heritage is 80% Asian is astonishing, and though it makes things make so much sense, it has turned my whole world on its head. I have wanted to learn Cantonese and Mandarin for years as well, so if you speak fluently, that’s even better! I’m a polyglot and speak fluent Russian, Yiddish, German and French, and I’m conversational in Hebrew, Khanti and Polish. If you like/reblog/reply to this I’ll send you a message. :) Thanks so much! I’m 28 so would prefer if you’re 21+.
Hello! Anyone wanna connect with this anon?

The Pazyryk rug, Scythian 5th-4th C. BCE
"Found: Pazyryk Barrow No. 5 (excavations by S.I. Rudenko, 1949). Altai Territory, Pazyryk Boundary, the Valley of the River Bolshoy Ulagan
The world's most ancient pile carpet was found in the largest of the Pazyryk burial mounds. Its decoration is rich and varied: the central field is occupied by 24 cross-shaped figures, each of which consists of 4 stylized lotus buds. This composition is framed by a border of griffins, followed by another one of 24 fallow deer. The widest border contains 28 figures of men on horseback and dismounted. The once bright yellows, blues and reds of the carpet are now faded, but must originally have provided a glowing range of colours. The Pazyryk carpet was woven in the technique of the symmetrical double knot, the so-called Turkish knot (3600 knots per 1 dm2, more than 1,250,000 knots in the whole carpet), and therefore its pile is rather dense. The exact origin of this unique carpet is unknown. There is a version of its Iranian provenance. But perhaps it was produced in Central Asia through which the contacts of ancient Altaians with Iran and the Near East took place. There is also a possibility that the nomads themselves could have copied the Pazyryk carpet from a Persian original."

Ay ata
Tumblr media
According to folklore, he is a moon deity who lives on the sixth floor of the sky with Gun Ana (Turkish: Gün Ana), the sun goddess with whom he is romantically linked. Ay Dede is the emblem of cold, whereas Gün Ana represents warmth and heat.
Ay Dede is well-known in modern Turkey, and tales about him are popular among youngsters. The mythology is more widespread among Siberian Turks, such as the Altaians and Yakuts, who continue to practise Tengrism. The Epic of Oghuz Khan mentions Ay Tanrı as Oghuz Khan's father, however this is not entirely certain. It's worth noting that Oghuz Khan's second son was named Ayhan (Ay Khan, "moon khan").
Since ancient times, Turkic people thought that humans possessed secret lunar abilities (Aisar or Aysar). Female pregnancies span around nine lunar months, and women frequently birth during a full moon.
The moon's three phases were likewise meaningful. It was thought that at "Ai Naazy" (new moon), the Moon represented a developing young kid who was pure and modest. At "Ai Toly" (full moon), the Moon represented a mature, good-natured mother or father. At "Ai Karty" (ancient moon), the moon matured and became wise. However, it is also a source of contention and nasty behaviour. Before its demise, the moon ruled over a completely dark night. The powers of life and death collided throughout these evenings. They parted ways following the meeting, only to reunite after a certain amount of time. When the old moon died, a new one emerged, and so on indefinitely.

The Altaians are represented by two ethnographic groups:
The Southern Altaians, who speak the Southern Altai language with its dialects, include the Altai-Kizhi, the Teleuts, the Telengits, and used to include the Telesy who are now assimilated within the Telengits.
The Northern Altaians, who speak the Northern Altai language and dialects, include the Chelkans, the Kumandins and the Tubalars (the Tuba-Kizhi).
The Northern and Southern Altaians formed in the Altai area on the basis of tribes of Kimek-Kipchaks.

Recent linguistic, genetic and archaeological evidence suggests that the earliest Turkic peoples descended from agricultural communities in Northeast China who moved westwards into Mongolia in the late 3rd millennium BC, where they adopted a pastoral lifestyle.By the early 1st millennium BC, these peoples had become equestrian nomads. In subsequent centuries, the steppe populations of Central Asia appear to have been progressively replaced and Turkified by East Asian nomadic Turks, moving out of Mongolia
In the Soviet years and until 2000, the authorities considered the northern Altaians and the Teleuts to be part of the Altai people.

Swans, geese, cranes and other migratory waterfowl have played a role in the minds of peoples all over the world going back into prehistory. Paleolithic peoples made flutes out of swan bones, and painted swans and other birds on rock walls. A cave painting in Lascaux, France around 20,000 years old depicts a bird, possibly some kind of waterfowl, sitting on top of a pole. A number of pendants depicting swans in flight have been found in Central Siberia; they are carved out of mammoth bone and are thought to be between 20,000 - 22,000 years old as well. Since these have been found in the “men’s section” of houses and in male graves, and are phallic in nature, they have been interpreted as both representations of male power and the swan as symbol of life and creation. A Bronze Age figurine uncovered in Serbia, dated to 3500 BCE, depicts a male solar deity in a chariot driven by swans, or similar waterfowl.
In ‘earth diver’ creation myths, which are common throughout Central and Northern Asia and Native North America, a divine being dives into the primordial ocean and brings up mud or earth in order to create the world. The Altaian Tatars described this divine being as a white swan. Egyptian creation myths instead speak of a cosmic goose called Kenkenwer, the ‘Great Cackler’. This goose is associated with the earth god Geb, and although some say that it is called ‘great cackler’ due to the belief that Geb’s laughter causes earthquakes, it is also credited with laying the cosmic egg from which came the world. It was also said that the cosmic goose created the world by breaking the eternal silence of the universe with its call.
Around 16,000-17,000 years ago the Milky Way would have been seen to flow from Scorpio at its ‘base’ (often conceptualized as a dragon or serpent) up through to Cygnus, the celestial bird. The brightest star of Cygnus, Deneb, would also have occupied the position of Pole Star at about this time period - a Pole Star being the closest star to the axis around which the firmament
Swans (or geese) also feature in Hindu mythology, where they are associated with Brahma and his consort Saraswati and are known as Hamsa. Kalahamsa, the ‘swan/goose of eternity’ is said to have laid the cosmic egg, or otherwise assisted Brahma in creating the cosmos. The swan here is linked to royalty, divinity, purity, knowledge and enlightenment as well as creative power. It is said to be the vehicle of the goddess Saraswati, patroness of wisdom, learning, music and the arts. Some have suggested that Hamsa and Saraswati may be one and the same, making her the divine swan-maiden par excellence. The goddess also personifies the sacred river, Saraswati and also possibly the Milky Way.

The Cygnus Constellation and the Celestial Otherworld
Cygnus (‘Swan’) is a large northern constellation also known as the Northern Cross. It lies in the plane of the Milky Way - in fact, the Cygnus constellation marks the beginning of what is known as the Great Rift, Dark Rift or Dark River, a band of dark interstellar dust clouds that appears to split a third of the Milky Way lengthwise in half and which extends from Cygnus through to Sagittarius. In the case where the Milky Way is perceived as the body of a goddess, Cygnus would be roughly where her two legs part - in some sense, perhaps her womb. Where it is the World Tree, it would be situated where its roots begin to split from the trunk. It is interesting to think that in Norse myth, two swans (from which all other swans descend) are depicted as swimming upon the lake or pool - the Well of Origin - at the base of the Tree. Since Cygnus is found beside the constellation Lyra, it was said by the Greeks that Cygnus represented Orpheus who was transformed into a swan following his death at the hands of the Maenads and placed in the sky next to his beloved lyre.
Around 16,000-17,000 years ago the Milky Way would have been seen to flow from Scorpio at its ‘base’ (often conceptualized as a dragon or serpent) up through to Cygnus, the celestial bird. The brightest star of Cygnus, Deneb, would also have occupied the position of Pole Star at about this time period - a Pole Star being the closest star to the axis around which the firmament appears to revolve. Some have suggested - perhaps controversially - that the shamanistic peoples of the Upper Paleolithic period during this time conceived of the image of the World Tree/Axis Mundi, with a reptilian creature circling its roots and an avian figure resting in its upper branches. If so, it is fascinating to think that this imagery survived into the mythologies of much later peoples, spread all over the world.
Some have also suggested that for many early peoples, who orientated temples, great earthworks, megaliths and graves towards the north, their belief was that the realm of the dead lay in the direction of the north. For several cultures, the Milky Way was thought of as a path to the otherworld, a ‘ghost road’ of sorts, which gods, shamans and the spirits of the dead would travel. Considering this, alongside Cygnus as the celestial bird of cosmic creation, resting in the uppermost branches of the World Tree or else swimming upon the Well of Origin, combined with Deneb as the Pole Star and cosmic axis at the time this mythic imagery may have originated, provides us with a powerful analogy. They may have thought that Cygnus or other places in the stars served as gateways to the celestial otherworld.

Swan message
With love and the right blend of spices, you can transform an otherwise unremarkable dish into something that is truly delectable. The same goes for anything you try in life, Taurus. If you are looking at a dull, ordinary assignment you have received or going through the motions with an obligation, or just with the goal of getting by, you need to recognize you have far more power than that. It is what you bring to what you are doing that will make it stand out. Put your signature on it and aim high.
I hope you enjoyed this please leave feedback hi, if took me hours to complete 😊☺😀 sooomuch enjoyed Sivinaes energy this majestic bird is something special in your life . 💖

Lance X !Fat Reader X Lotor - Race To Your Heart Ch.4
Tumblr media
---
Lotors voice was smooth as velvet as he continued to read you the book. It was an intriguing Altaian tale about how the universe guided two lovers to one other.
More so, how their differences not only in race, but in status kept them apart. It was like a fairy tale.
"We have stories like this on Earth." Your voice broke the short silence as Lotor was in the middle of turning a page.
He turned the page, but instead of continuing with his reading, looked at you. You could feel your round cheeks flush up at the gaze, but his eyes held a look of curiosity.
"Intriguing, could you possibly tell me one." All of his attention was on you and at this moment you didn't mind one bit.
Sitting up a bit more from your spread out form on the couch, you sat side by side to Lotor who completely shut the book and leaned back against the couch.
"S-sure, there's so many... Cinderella, The Little Mermaid. Beauty and the Beast....how ab-."
"Beauty and the Beast." Lotor cut you off, but you didn't mind because his voice was filled with curiosity.
You laughed at his eagerness and turned your blanket clad body toward him as you started to tell him about the Fairy Tale.
---
Lance was walking down one of the many halls of the castle, dread washing over him as Pidges words echoed in his head.
"Tell (Y/N) about the deal by the end of the week, or I'll tell her!"
The Cuban man shuddered at the mere thought. Pidge could be scary when she wanted.
Honestly, he saw nothing wrong with the little deal he made with Lotor. Lance knew you weren't property, you're independent, fierce and your own woman with your own options who will be heard and you've proven that point many times.
A smile cracked on his face. He loved all those things about you and not to mention your humor, laugh, smile.. everything. Having been with the team since the beginning, you all got to know each other on a deeper level.
Lance flirted with you because he was interested. Sure, he flirted with other girls, but it was just what he did. Although, what Lotor said rang true. He did flirt with girls in front of you, the girls you thought he'd go for. Rubbing the back of his neck, he grimaced. He never took your thoughts into consideration when openly flirting with other girls and thinking back to the side glances and the way your face would drop and how'd you just turn away and talk to the others.
A laugh caught the sharp shooter's attention, his eyes landing on the door to the library. It was your laugh, he'd recognize it anywhere.
Another laugh, a lower more masculine one invaded Lance's ears. It came from the same place yours did. Looking down both ways of the corridor, he quietly went up to the door and pressed his ear against it.
---
"So, Belle falls for this Beast regardless of his outward appearance and solely on personality?" You nodded at Lotors question and gave a laugh.
"Yes, but Belle also saw Beauty in the Beasts own right. I guess the saying, beauty is in the eye of the beholder rings true with Beauty and the Beast."
Lotor thought for a moment and then let out a laugh at your words. You tilted your head to the side wondering what brought on his laughter.
"You know what your tale reminds me of?" You only shook your head as Lotor shifted a bit closer to you, his leg brushing up against yours. You cleared your throat a bit at the close proximity.
"What's it remind you of?"
"You." Lotor gave you a smile as your lips dipped down in a frown. You could feel anger rise up as a string of curse words were at the tip of your tongue ready to be thrown in Lotor's direction until he threw his hands up and laughed at your reaction.
"Before you swear at me, please hear me out." Biting your lip, you nodded your head. You did just tell him the fairy tale, maybe he was still trying to process it. It would be a shitty move to yell at him if he was still trying to connect some dots due to the obvious differences in your cultures.
"This fairy tale reminds me of you because you don't see your beauty (Y/N)," Lotor paused for a moment as he grasped your soft hands with his large ones before continuing. "I know how you see yourself... like a Beast, someone who thinks they do not deserve love because of what they look like on the outside, but (Y/N), you're absolutely gorgeous. All of these flaws that you see are not flaws at all, they make you unique and beautiful...by the stars (Y/N) you are the Belle and you don't even know it."
You were speechless.
Was this real right now? Was he really looking at you because Lotor was actually attracted to you? You had so many questions swirling through your mind right now.
"(Y/N)?"
Glancing back up, Lotors face was much closer than it was before. You could feel the heat radiating off of his body.
His hand cupped your round cheek, thumb brushing the side of your face in a calming motion.
"Why did you say that?" Your voice was soft and vulnerable right now. This scene was right out of a fairy tale; the prince confessing his love and adoration to the peasant.
"Because," You could feel Lotors hot breath as his face got closer, noses almost touching. "It's all true (Y/N), you're so much more than you think." You could feel your eyes start to flutter close as you leaned forward.
Lotor leaned down, wanting to capture your lips. He wanted you to see yourself as he sees you: majestic, beautiful and deserving of so much love. His eyes fluttered close as well, wanting to bask in the warmth of your body and lips.
Before the both of you could share a sweet kiss, the library door slammed against the wall, scaring the daylights out of you both as you both jumped back at the loud sound.
Lance came around from the other side of a bookshelf, eyes fixated on the tall shelves as if he was searching for a book. The Cuban looked up at the both of you, surprised. Well, acting surprised really. Having heard everything Lotor said to you and the silence that came after, he had to stop it.
They both are after your heart after all.
"Oh, hey guys!" The sharp shooter waved to you both and walked over.
Your chubby cheeks were flushed from Lotors words, the almost kiss you two shared and now Lance having basically caught you both.
"Reading by the fire, classic." Lance plopped himself in between Lotor and yourself, separating you both. You glanced over at the Galra Prince who was very much annoyed by Lance; his gaze glaring at the paladin.
"We were having a very lovely time, until we got rudely interrupted." Lotor said this while still glaring at Lance who only hummed in acknowledgment.
You were looking between the two and the silence was thick and heavy. It made you a bit uncomfortable and with the silence still lingering, you got up from the couch, hoping to make a get away to your room.
"Where ya going (Y/N)?" Lance asked. Sheepishly, you turned to look at both men.
"Back to my room, I'm getting a bit tired. Thank you for reading to me Lotor, it was nice." You gave the Prince a small smile. Your feelings of anger you usually felt around him, slowly disappearing.
He smiled up at you. "Of course my little star, I quite enjoyed our time together, I do hope to spend more with you." He gently grasped your hand and brought it to his lips, gingerly giving the top of it a chaste kiss.
"Y-yeah, that sounds nice." You brought your hand back and started making your way to the door and toward your room.
---
Once the door shut to the library, Lance jumped up from the couch, crossing his arms and glaring down at the still sitting Galran.
"Can I assist you with something?" Lotors voice was sarcastic in nature which only made Lance even more annoyed.
"What the quiznak was that you just pulled?" Lotor knew what the human was referring to and it just made him smirk.
"I was simply expressing what a lovely time I had with (Y/N) tonight. It was marvelous, we shared body heat, I held her hand, pulled her close and the way her eyes fluttered close when I was near; it was truly something of fairy tales you might say."
Lotor knew his words would irritate the paladin and that pleased him, but he also meant everything he said. That almost kiss did feel magical and he intended to finish it another time.
"Y-you can't do that!" Lance shouted this at the Prince.
"Why not? Am I not winning her heart this way, is that not what was agreed upon?"
Lance sighed in frustration before speaking. "It is, I just hope you're genuine with her."
Lotor scoffed and stood up, looking Lance dead in the eyes. "I'll always been genuine with her, but what about you? Will you ever stop your chasing other girls around and making her feel like less than she is, or is that just what you humans do?"
With that said, he made his way out the library, needing to get away from Lance before he did something to him.
Lance stayed in the library, racking his brain trying to come up with something to sweep you off your feet and show you how much he likes you. Sitting on the couch, he knew it was going to be a long night, but you were worth it.
