i haven't had a bad body day like this in a while, and i'm really struggling with how exhausting it is. like, the chronic pain is always fuckin chronic, but this was an extreme. it's taking some serious effort to just not sit and stare at the wall. which i'm only avoiding bc i don't want to feel like i threw away my afternoon. not that there was much to have anyway...
really hoping i feel better tomorrow. i could dig my pto debt a bit deeper and stay home if i need to, but i'd really like to avoid that so i can save it. i really want to take off the monday after botw2 comes out ;)

ONE YEAR OF PFTET
(sorry for this mess of a post, I promise I'll put out something better/more about the actual project soon, I just wanted to put out this more personal message first. I know the formatting is dodgy and it may not all entirely make sense, but it comes straight from the heart/sleep-deprived mind. I might take this down and re-write it tomorrow later today it's the early hours of the morning when I inevitably re-read it and cringe, but for now, here it is)
So turns out I missed the one-year anniversary (January 14th), so well done me...
It's wild to think that I've now officially been working on pftet for over a year now. My life has changed so wildly and drastically over the 12-month span that it's almost hard to imagine where I was when I started it.
I haven't done as much in that time as I would've hoped at the beginning, but to be fair to myself, I don't think I could've imagined what an utterly chaotic mess 2022 ended up becoming for me. I've mentioned a few different things on here (the mess that moving flat became, getting covid, breaking my arm, etc.) but on top of those and just the impact they had on my life, there was a bit more behind the scenes, as well as uni and work (gross). Especially now as where I live is going through a cost-of-living crisis, it's not only been stressful as fuck, but I've had to start working even more frequently than before (both a blessing and a curse, as it means less time to write in general, but also I'm pretty sure all of my best moments of inspiration have come to me on my commute).
That's not to say I'm not still working on pftet, because I am. And even when I'm not actively writing, I'm constantly thinking about the characters and the world. I love this project, and I promise I'm not abandoning it - no matter how long I go between randomly popping up to answer questions that have been in my ask box for several months. The unfortunate truth is just that, at least at the moment, I need to prioritise some other stuff - namely work and my health (although, touch wood, my health hasn't had any major blows since my arm in May).
However, I do promise that in 2023 I will (at least try my best to) be more active than last year. At the very least, assuming there aren't any wild unforeseen circumstances, I promise not to disappear without a trace for basically three months! Who knows? Maybe the fact that I've had to deal with all this wild shite in 2022 means I'll be able to handle it better in 2023.
Anyway, this has been long and I've said a lot of nothing, I just thought that my spotty appearances necessitated some sort of explanation. You guys deserve that.

The main thing, though, is that I want to say thank you. Thank you to everyone who's ever shown any interest in the dumb things my brain spouted one day and spiralled into this weird story about growing up and feeling as though the world is ending (and realising that it actually might be!) I don't think I'll ever be able to properly express my gratitude. Every single notification I get makes me grin stupidly, and I'm still mind-blown every time someone sends in an ask. I'm going to do a proper post more about thanking you all soon, maybe include a contest of some sort, I'm not entirely sure yet, but keep an eye out.

TLDR:
2022 was a shit show, but I'm hoping to get (at least a little bit) more on track and be active far more frequently. Thank you all so much for caring about pftet so far, and here's to the future!

Elena and Stefan's apartment
Elena had one of those wonderful mornings with blissful dreams and felt completely refreshed. She opened her eyes to her buzzing phone. She turned over to see Stefan calling her. She smiled softly at this.
"Good morning, Lena I have a surprise for you!" Stefan said sweetly but with a hint of mischief. "Ooh, that sounds fun, I can't wait."
"May I ask what this entails Mr. Salvatore?" She asks, laying up from her bed.
"Well, since you asked Ms. Gilbert we will be going on a little vacation but the location is a surprise!" Stefan said, smiling mischievously.
"Vacation? But tomorrow Christmas?" "I know it's Christmas tomorrow but I wanted to do something special for the both of us. And I think you'll be incredibly happy. I know this is the few Christmases without your family but I think you'll change your mind, you'll see." Stefan said convincingly.
"Alright, then I can't wait!" "But what should I need to wear? Elena asked.
"Love, whatever makes you feel comfortable aka casual clothes," Stefan said sweetly to Elena.
"You know me too well Stef, thank you for all of this I think we need a romantic VK."
"I love you, and I'll pick you up in 20 minutes. How do that sound?"
"Great, I can't wait to see you! I love you! Bye!" Elena said hanging up. She smiled as she got up from her bed. She went to grab her special pen and her olive green diary. She thought I haven't written in this for a little while now. it's time for an update.
Elena moved to her window as she started to write...
12/24/22
Dear, diary I know it's been a while, I had gotten a new one since I thought I lost this one. I felt devastated since my mom gave me this for my birthday and it meant the world to me. I've told you about Stefan my boyfriend maybe, hopeful soon husband. I met Stefan when I was 17 a senior in high school. I had broken up with my boyfriend at the time Matt, he had his whole future planned out and I was still searching for it. But I also felt a lack of passion and understanding. In the end, we wanted different things but I'm glad we're on good terms. But when I met Stefan everything changed, there was passion, he understood me, and it felt perfect. But not perfect like everything was amazing but more as if everything was right or fell right into place. It was as if we were meant for each other, soulmates even. Right now he's planning something all I know is we're going on a vacation but I don't think it's far since I'm supposed to dress casually and it's too close to Christmas he wouldn't plan something like a trip to Hawaii. Anyways, I better get ready now.
~Love, Elena
Elena moved from her window to her vanity to put up her hair. She ran her hand through her hair, grabbed the majority of it, and then tied the hairband. She got up from the stool and headed over to her closet. She found a red Stretch Top, collarless leather bomber jacket, boot-cut jeans on the racket, and classic converse in the corner. This was the outfit she wore when she met Stefan, it was very special because of this. She placed the shoes that were on the side of her closet beside her. And then grabbed a pair of socks from the left side of the closet, then went to the bathroom to change.
2 minutes later...
Elena walked out of the bathroom with her Red stretch top, collarless leather bomber jacket, and boot-cut jeans. She turned to her room and grabbed her converse. She laid them on the bed as she sat down. She put one foot forward as the other was down and tied her shoelaces. And vice versa with the other.
She decided to put on some makeup for this special occasion. She went over to her vanity once again and grabbed some blush, eyeliner, mascara, and neutral colored pallet for eyeshadow. She also grabbed brushes to apply the blush and eyeshadow. First, she grabbed the light brown and opened the pallet, she brushed softly apply powder to her face. Then, she grabbed her eyeliner carefully gliding the liner on the lid of her eye. After she finished, she grabbed the mascara and looked up while applying it. Lastly, she rubbed the brush softly, on the powder and then made brush strokes parallel to one another. She must have thought I don't need makeup for Stefan he loves me with or without. I normally do where it, but today is special and I think it'll be nice.
He should be here any minute now...
Gilbert Loge
Stefan pushed back his hair with the hair jell which fit his face nicely. It's like falling pieces into place. He then pushed the top of the soap bottle squirting soap onto his hands. He rubbed both of his hands fast and put his hand under warm water. He shook his hands in the sink and grabbed a soft towel to finish the job. He grabbed his plaid shirt and denim jeans along with his boots. He made his way over to his couch and tied the strings.
He took a look around and thought I think Elena will love these Christmas decorations, I mean she always does but it'll be even special this year because I'm proposing. And it'll be amazing since it's at her family's loge. He smiled softly, at this thought.
Stefan made his way to the stairs and grabbed his keys, he headed outside to his Porsche to pick up Elena.
I should be there soon...
10 minutes later...
Ding Dong the doorbell rang and Elena came walking down the stairs to greet Stefan at the door. "Hey, are you ready?" Stefan asks softly.
"Yes," Elena says smiling at him and gazing into his olive-green eyes. Stefan holds out his hand and she takes it, they both walk to the car. He opens the door like a gentleman and she gets in.
As he is driving Elena asks "Are you going to give me any more hints?" Elena asks innocently. Stefan pauses for a second and then says "It's very familiar." Stefan said mischievously looking over at her. Elena pouts at his response. "Don't worry love, we'll be there soon!" Stefan said sweetly.
"Ok, good if we didn't I think I would have died of boredom," Elena says dramatically, holding her hand up to her forehead. Stefan scoffs at this while smiling trying to contain his laughter.
After a few minutes of driving, they arrive at the Gilbert loge. Elena gasps, she hadn't been here a few years. "It looks just as amazing as it was when I last saw it. Thank You, Stef!" Elena said, smiling. Stefan held out his finger signaling to wait as he got out of the car. Stefan walked over to open the door. "Why thank you, Mr. Salvatore." Elena smiled as she said this.
They both headed towards the door, Stefan grabbed the keys to unlock the door.
The pair walked in and as you walked in you could smell the chicken and vegetables from here. It smelled delicious. You also could see the fairy lights all around the house it was beautiful.
Wow, Stefan, you did all of this?" Elena questioned looking around at the fairy lights. She also could spell the fresh vegetables from the living room, she smiled softly thinking 'he did all of this for me.'
"Yes, of course, anything for you!" Stefan walked with Elena as they headed for the kitchen. They walked over to the counter Elena looked around taking in the scenery.
'Nows the time Stefan, it's time to propose to her.' Stefan grabbed the velvet black box from his pocket and knelt down beside Elena.
"Thank yo-" Elena turned to face Stefan and covered her mouth in shock. "Will you marry me?" Stefan asked. "Yes, I will marry you," Elena said hugging Stefan. Stefan pulled away and placed the beautiful diamond ring on her finger.

I'm sorry, I just need to get things off my chest, again. If I had my therapy session sooner rather than waiting over a month for it, it would've been helpful. Alas I have no choice but to wait and with no one to turn to, I'm gonna talk into the void.
I am completely mentally drained and exhausted in all sense of the word. I don't think it's been this bad since 2018. Honestly I think this time it's much worse. I rarely get out of bed unless I need to do something important or forcibly drag myself out. I can't sleep at night and sleep most of the day when I'm allowed to, well unless I'm dealing with a nightmare, which has become my daily hell. Trust me when I say I would rather dream of Michael Myers, Freddy Kruger, and Chucky chasing me than the dreams I've been having. I've been eating a lot of chocolate just to feel some kind of joy.
I don't have anyone to talk to. My mom has never been a reliable person to talk to about this stuff because she's too judgemental, doesn't get it, is too stressed out herself, or she makes me about herself like, "Oh if I can do it, so can you so you have no excuse." My friend is busy with her life and I don't feel comfortable telling her stuff like this when she's already dealing with so much. And in general I've just been feeling ignored and pushed to the side like I'm not there, like my voice doesn't matter.
All of this is starting to affect me physically to the point where I feel pain in my chest and feel my blood pressure spiking and my stomach churning from how stressed out I am. And no matter how much I try to distract myself, do all the breathing exercises, and practicing mindfulness, it hasn't worked. Hell I almost passed out in the store today from how bad it was. And I know I need to find a way to fix it, especially with surgery two weeks away, but man has it been hard.
And I know this is going to sound sad and pathetic, but literally the only thing keeping me going is Gilbert's route being released in EN soon. I'm remembering I had an attempt back in December '22 and the only thing that stopped me was that I didn't get Gilbert's 5 star card when they officially dropped in EN and I wanted more opportunities to try and win it. Then it turned into I wanted to read more stories about him, then wanting to read translations of his route that was released in JP, and now I'm trying to use his EN route release to keep moving forward, even though all I want to do is give up. If it keeps me alive, why not? Not that I'm heavily depending on a fictional character to keep me above water, just that he's part of the little pieces that give me motivation to keep going. I also want to see the surgery through and recover and hopefully feel better enough to have a new life, I want to find a good job that pays well so I can have more income to help out and do more things that I want to do, I want to make more cosplay, draw and write more, create that custom Emma doll, wear the pretty dresses, travel at the very least out of my city/state, make it to my 30th birthday, find more GF and dairy free snacks I can actually eat, read more romance books, and so on. Even if I'm on my own in all of this, if I can use these things to hold on, I'll try to keep pushing forward.
For now I'll have my good cry, eat my chocolate peanut butter cups, take a shower, and hope that maybe God will grant me mercy and make tomorrow a much better day for me.

Omg I've had photos of your bracelets bookmarked as inspiration! I totally forgot those were yours. They're so beautiful!! I think FOB will be a lot of fun even if you don't know their music - one of my best friends is a huge fan and says they're amazing live. I've been debating grabbing tickets to see them too but I have 6 concerts lined up next year and two more I think I'm going to get tickets for haha so we'll see. But I'm also making bracelets for holly, olivia, and eras next year!
Ohhh is notion the digital bujo thing or am I thinking of something else? RWRB is so cute and anastasia and waitress are beautiful. It's cool to connect your bujo art to your current interests and then be able to go back through and remember all the media you enjoyed at different points. I would definitely love to see any bujo art you want to share! And wow, self-taught embroidery - that's awesome!!
Sorry to hear about the awful work environment - I hope you've moved on to something better and have recovered well from grad school! 💜 Your description of everything sounds very similar to the path I've been on. It's encouraging hearing about all the art you've worked on though - I feel really motivated to start pushing through this slump and make some fun things!! I want to do some themed art similar to your bujo theming. I just thrifted a little decorative box with small blank cards in them so I might try to do some mini collages on those maybe with music lyrics.
I hope you feel better soon and can go do some ceramic painting! I'm super lucky with knitting / crafting. My mom knit when she was younger so she taught me and let me have her old needles and yarn. And in general, she's very crafty and taught me a lot of different craft things growing up. I think the collaging was a combination of enjoying crafting as a kid and liking to collect things (in this case, scraps of paper and magazine clippings).
Btw how do you like the new Holly / MUNA collab?
oh my gosh that is so nice of you to say!!! i'm hoping to make more bracelets this week + next so i can send them out with presents, but we'll see if that ends up happening or not! if i do make more i'll post some photos on here for you 🤍
what concerts are you seeing next year? a lot of artists/bands that i like toured this year so aside from olivia + holly + taylor, i don't really think anyone i particularly care about will be touring :( i did really want to see noah kahan and also bleachers, but i don't particularly want to travel travel (especially since bleachers isn't coming to the west coast at all).
notion is the digital bujo thing! i really liked it, and like it for some things, but got caught up in making everything super pretty over actually being functional :( i keep forgetting it gets dark dark here in seattle at like 3pm now, but tomorrow for sure i will take some better photos of my bujo 🤍
i hope you're able to fall back into crafty things soon! grad school really is just ... soul sucking/all consuming. i'd love to see some of your crafts too, if you'd like to share!! 🤍 i'm starting to feel a little bit better — still don't reallllly have a voice (it keeps coming in & out), but i'm feeling a lot better overall! and that's so cool that you got to learn from your mom! my mom isn't crafty at all (she loves to bake though!) and i have no idea who i picked up my love for crafts from!
i really like the new holly/muna collab! i love muna — i'd love to see them live someday, and i think into your room was such a good song for them to be on! what about you? 🤍 if you could have holly collab with anyone, who would you want and why? personally, i'd love her to work with benjamin francis leftwich again — i think about this video often, and i'd love to see her collab with the 1975/matty healy since i really love what they did on sleep tight + please don't leave just yet.

To Love An Indian | Tony Stark x Desi!Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: The reader is a desi woman who was appointed as an assistant by Tony Stark. How will your relationship with the billionaire genius go?
Warnings: All fluff, used Hindi language! Translations are available.
Word Count: 2,914
The special fact about you was, being an Indian was something common about when you live in a western country.
Mostly migrate to other places for finding a job, same as you. Never believed once in your life, you're going to get a job of an assistant. For a billionaire genius, and a superhero.
Everyone in your family was so happy about it, at least they have expectations that their daughter will finally make her name and earn. Maybe find someone special that you find to be perfect in your life?
Your mom and dad always worked hard for you for a better future and lifestyle. They never been so happier when they found out you were being appointed for a job in America. They felt so successful and proud for making their daughter educated enough to send her further.
Your flight was tomorrow, but the nervousness just kicks inside that how would your interview go. It was actually Tony Stark, the genius, billionaire, playboy and philanthropist. You can't even mess up with him. But, there was one thing which bugged you about, a tingly feeling.
You remember him since the day when the world was saved from the Chitauri invasion, and everyone was celebrating about the victory of heroes. It filled throughout the Indian media, about the new superheroes, named as the Avengers, who fight the inside and outside evils. The moment Iron Man showed on the screen, you were left surprised. You kept staring at the hero saving others and making sure if they're secure.
Mostly! When he opened his mask, and revealed his face, everyone held such shocked faces, like they never knew Iron Man was basically a human inside controlling the suit.
"Lo, hum joh isse robot samaj rahe the, yeh toh insaan nikala!" Your grandmother exclaimed. (Wow, we thought he was robot, but he turned out to be a human?)
"Chodo na, dadi. Hai toh hero, na?" You replied, turning back to the television. (Leave, grandma. At least he's a hero, right?)
But, you kept looking at his face. The way he spoke, the way he actions, and everything. You were lost into the man, that suddenly you revealed your smile, your sister noticing it.
"Didi, kya hogaya?" Your sister broke your contact, making you jerk in an instant. (What's wrong, sis?)
"O-oh, k-kuch nahi. Bas me usse dekh rahi thi, baat karte hue." You stammered, looking back. (Oh, it's nothing. I was just looking at him, talking.)
"Oho, pyaar me toh nahi pad gaye na?" Your sister teased, making you blush. (Oh, are you falling in love, huh?)
"Aree! Pagal toh nahi ho? Of course nahi! Hero hai, respect karti hu." (Hey! Are you crazy? Of course no! He's a hero, and I respect him.)
You did appreciate him, but this kind of respect leading to somewhere else.
It was morning, and the time for your flight. Bidding everyone a heartwarming farewell, hoping to see your family soon again.
"Beta araam se jaana. Maine tere liye bahut saari kheer banayi hai. Kha lena agar bhuk lagi toh, thik hai?" (Dear, go easy while you leave. I made lots of pudding for you, so eat it if you feel hungry, alright?)
"Haa maa, ghabrao nahi. Me araam se jaaungi. Ashirvad do bas." You kneeled down to take blessing from your mom and dad, them giving it back. (Yes, mom don't worry. I'll go easy, just give me your blessing.)
"Khush raho, beti. Kaam karna aur naam roshan karna." Your father removed his spectacles, crying tears for her daughter leaving. (Be happy, my daughter. Work hard and make your name bright.)
You hugged your dad, weeping because he wasn't ready to accept the fact you were now leaving him for a long time. After breaking the hug, you wiped his tears, giving him confidence.
Stepping in the taxi, you bid them goodbye, waving your hand and leaving for the airport.
Your new life now began, the moment you entered America. Landing, you then stayed in the hotel for the night, tired and exhausted. But, along that you wanted to remember your lines, so you quickly revise and go to sleep. In the morning, you hurriedly reach Stark Tower for the interview, since the time was running a bit fast.
Entering in the huge interior, looking at a lot of people working in. It did made your nervousness kick in again, but behaved like a strong woman, just wanting to complete the interview as a badass.
You reached the receptionist. "Excuse me, can you tell me where will Mr. Stark take the interview?"
"Oh, on the 15th floor, meeting rooms."
"Thank you." You smiled, reaching the elevator and waiting for the floor to arrive. Checking your watch, you were two minutes late, but hoping they'll just manage. Entering the room, feeling the slight cold air hitting your skin. It seemed empty, but hoped he was waiting for a while.
"Uhm, Mr. Stark?" You called out.
"Come in, Miss (L/N)." A deep, masculine voice filled through the room, knowing someone was actually in. Stepping inside, and closing the door, you seat yourself, trying to hide away your nervousness. It seemed you were slowly forgetting your lines but, being a strong woman is your passion right? Who even can—
The moment the chair turned around towards your direction, you lost it. It looks like you totally forgot the lines now.
Because Tony Stark just faced in front of you.
Did you just, blush? No, it might be embarassment. But, he too stared at you for a while. It was like an awkward staring contest, but remembering you were here for an interview, you brought yourself back.
"Good morning, Mr. Stark. Sorry for being so late." You wipe off the flick of hair on your face.
"It's okay. At least you were on time." He replied, giving a smile. Damn, it was cute.
"So, Miss (L/N). You're from, India right?" He asked, looking at your documents.
"Y-yes! I'm from India, also fully graduated from college."
"What really made you accept this assistant job?" He started asking questions.
"I just don't want to work for money, but I want to find what better I can do while I'm by myself."
"That's everyone's expectations. We should really try something new, and it's a fact of finding your true self."
"Right." You nodded.
"Alright, I have appointed you, congrats." He closed the document and gave a grin.
You widen your eyes. "What? I-I thought you were going to ask more questions..?"
"I don't ask many of them, I know you're capable for everything so, no need." He shrugged.
"W-wow.. I mean, it's way different back there.. haha. What a prick I am." You chuckled.
"You shouldn't actually be uncomfortable or nervous around me, okay? I'll always be available for your problems." He stood up from his chair, and you also too. Offering his hand for a handshake, and you happily accept it.
"Congratulations for the job, Miss (L/N)."
"Aapka bahut, bahut dhanyawad." You accidentally speak in your language, making you cover your mouth in surprise. (Thank you very much.)
He raised his eyebrow in confusion, not sure what you really meant. "Excuse me?" He tilts his head, smirking.
"I-I meant, thank you for accepting me as your assistant, Mr. Stark.. I'm sorry about that." You replied, trying not to fluster from embarassment. But, it didn't seem to make him feel weird, he was like.. more interested?
"No no, it's fine. Accidents happen, but your language is just beautiful. Just tell me whenever you're about to speak Hindi, JARVIS, my AI will help me translate it." He chuckled, and you laugh back.
"Mr. Stark you're so funny." You shook your head and continued to laugh. He sees you smile, which somehow warmed his heart. You might not notice it, but something was being created in between.
And time actually told that, when you both worked together for a long time.
"Please, call me Tony."
Years while working with Stark, you really enjoyed the job. He was a sweet, generous person who will look after you, hoping nothing worse happens. It kind of made you both like good friends, later on. Everytime you looked at him, some strange feelings always attacked you. You can't even guess what it means, but maybe because you really appreciate him.
One day came, when you even noticed about his weaknesses. It made you worry when he never came upstairs to sleep, so after a lot of convincing, he accepted your plead and slept. Even it became more forward, when Tony faced nightmares, and wanted to sleep with someone by his side.
He had been lonely, and it hurts.
His tired face made you want to rub it gently, and relax him to sleep. But, it looks like, you weren't friends anymore.
The way he became more protective and caring throughout your job in his mansion. Like a boyfriend.
But, the question came, does he even love you back, that you're feeling it all?
In the morning, Tony woke up to see the side of the bed empty. Maybe you were up early and started working. He got up and rubbed his hair, went downstairs to get some coffee. While drinking, he suddenly heard someone.. singing?
It didn't seem like an English song. It was foreign.
He could even hear the feminine sound softly, coming from the othe room.
Main tainu samjhawan ki, na tere bina lagda ji,
Main tainu samjhawan ki, na tere bina lagda ji,
Tu ki jaane pyaar mera, me karu intezaar tera,
Tu dil tuhiyo jaan meri
Main tainu samjhawan ki, na tere bina lagda ji,
When he slowly entered the room, you were the one singing while cleaning up the documents. Seriously, he never knew you sang so well. It literally made him feel so surprised, by seeing your other talent. He leaned on the door ledge, hearing you sing beautifully without noticing, like he was lost into it.
Everyday, whenever you used to sing this song while working, he secretly saw you and always adored your voice. It just made him fall in love.
On a particular day, he heard you sing the same song again. He stepped in the room, seeing your beautiful face and voice again.
In midway of your song, you turn around and see him on the doorway, and you gasped. "O-oh, Mr. Stark! G-good morning!"
"Good morning." He replied in his groggy, morning voice. "I never knew you sang so well. You never told me you even sing." He chuckled.
"Really..? I uhm, used to sing but, I had different plans.." You rub your hair, looking embarassed.
"But you sing so well.. I'm amazed." He smiled. "Problem is, I didn't understand because, that's a different language. God, I need to take Hindi classes from you, dang. What does it mean?"
You both laughed. "This song.. uhm actually is about, a lover, explaining his.. other lover that, he can't live without her, because they're deeply attached to each other. It's my favorite song, by the way."
"Oh really? You're into romantic songs, it seems." He raised his eyebrow and smirked, finding a seat.
"Yeah but, uhm.. because they show a lot meaning, even after I'm just a single-pringle, haha. Weird isn't it?"
He stared at you for sometime, it wasn't serious, but gentle. "It's not."
You blushed, don't know why but the tone of his voice dragged into it. Both kept staring at each, and had no idea about the surroundings.
You were the one to break through, coming back to reality. "Oh! S-sorry I just got lost.. a while back."
He got up from his chair, and went closer to your direction. Looking at each other's eyes, he found yours the most beautiful. Felt like he can swim in it. Caressing your cheek and rubbing it with his thumb, you started to panic inside, not able to notice what's happening now.
"Y/N.." He said, in a soft voice. "I.. wanted to ask about something."
You gulped, still flustered. "W-what is it?"
He realised something else, and then cleared his throat. ".. can you, teach me Hindi?"
"Huh?" You looked surprised.
"Yeah, I told a very while back, that I will once ask you to teach me Hindi. I'm very interested, can you please?" He flashed a grin. Like, there was no problem for you to teach him your language. It's good to make others know about your culture.
You gave him a nod as a reply, and he became excited. "Thank you, I'll gladly be your student, Miss Y/N."
For weeks, Tony had been taking Hindi classes from you. I swear, it could have been tough for him, but he was just so interested to learn the language. All you know he was just keen so you were teaching him all that. Giving him assignments and worksheets with grammar, you helped him through everything.
"Maine khana khaya.." You said the words, and waited for him to recite back. (I ate my food.)
"Maine khana.. khaya? Did I say it right?" He replied, in a weird way because his American accent was also mixing in between.
"No no, you're going correctly! Now say it again."
"Maine khana khaya." Tony said it properly.
"Good! I'm proud of you. Damn, Tony. You're going good in this language."
"For you, I can do anything, even learning a tough language."
The moment which left you blank again. He still fixed his soft eyes with yours, clearing your throat to break the tension.
"Okay so, do you have any doubts so far?
"Well, uh. I have a doubt, many of them." He rubbed his nose.
"Ask me."
He first rubs his hands nervously, then looks back at you. "How do you say.. love in Hindi?"
"Oh, well.. pyaar." You replied, being straightforward.
"Okay.. now how do we say, you're beautiful in it?"
You felt a tingly feel in your stomach, but still continued. "Tum khoobsurat ho."
He chuckles. "Alright. Now, if I ask my final doubt.. how do I say.. I love you?"
You gasped. Did he really mean it? Clenching your pen, you became nervous.
"Tell me, my love. I want to know about it."
".. me tumse pyaar karta hu."
"Yes, that is what I wanted to hear." He skids closer to you, growing close to your face.
"Mujhe tumse pyaar hai." He said, properly in Hindi. You felt like to explode. Tony Stark.. loves you?
Suddenly, he gets up from the couch, offering his hand. You grab it and get up, till a familiar song plays in the room.
Tony grabbed your waist from one arm and your hand from the other, swifting to the movements as if they're dancing.
He started singing the song, when the verse began.
- play it now! -
youtube
"Main tainu samjhawan ki, na tere bina lagda ji.." He sang the line so perfectly. You were just shocked and surprised. Both were dancing like a couple on stage.
Main tainu samjhawan ki, na tere bina lagda ji..
Tu ki jaane pyaar mera, me karu intezaar tera,
Tu dil tuhiyo jaan meri
Main tainu samjhawan ki, na tere bina lagda ji..
While he was singing your favorite song, you were about to burst in tears. You never believed it. The billionaire genius, actually loved you this whole time. Happily resting your head on his chest, he continued to dance while holding you close. When the song finished, he still saw the tears in your eyes.
"D-did you wanted to learn Hindi.. b-because of all this?" Your voice cracked.
"Yes, my love. Just for you. I have to tell this but.. I fell in love the moment I saw you for the first time. Your smile, laugh, voice, behavior, eyes.. and your.."
"And your.. what?"
He sighed, and then leaned to close the gap between your lips. The kiss was sweet yet passionate, like he waited for this moment.
He pulled off for air, both of your gazes neutrally looking. "I'm surprised that I fell in love with an Indian, like you. But, you're pretty, no matter what nationality you belong to. You changed my life Y/N. Trust me, the way you took care of, pampered, and worried for me.. I can never forget that. I really love you for that, my love. And I want to spend the rest of my life with you.. d-do you accept me as your boyfriend?"
You started to sob, clenching his shirt tight. Maybe she wasn't happy about it. "L-look, if you don't accept, it's okay.. you deserve. Alot better than—"
"Yes, yes and a million times yes!" You said excitedly, and he sighs in relief. "Did you like.. learn the entire song?"
"Yeah, I even did take help from JARVIS for the translation, also from your teachings, never forgetting that." He winked.
"Oh god.." You laughed.
"But come on, you didn't like it? Tell me!"
"I did, Tony. And I want to thank you for it, a lot."
He gently wipes off your tears, and kisses your forehead. "Now, do you want to celebrate for our engagement?"
"Like where, Mr. Stark?" You said, flirtatiously.
He darkens his eyes, and picks you in the bridal style. "Right in our shared bedroom, sweetheart." He takes you in the room while giggling, shutting the door from inside.

Whatever It Takes
It's Task Force 141's first mission after gathering intel about the whereabouts of Samantha Coleman. Gary and the rest of the team proceed to briefing and would probably head straight to their rescue mission. Do these mini summaries even make sense? Find out soon.
Chapter 3 to another story made by Ray (echo-three-one) Comments and Reviews appreciated! I hope you enjoy! Love you all ❤️
Previous Chapter : Soap - F.N.G.
Tumblr media
"Run Through the Jungle"
Gary "Roach" Sanderson
Task Force 141
Task Force 141 - Mess Hall
Gary was almost done with his raccoon story when the PA system alerted them of an immediate briefing. Simon nodded to him and got up making his way to the briefing room. Gary also noticed the rest of his squad from earlier walk to the door, and was France crying on Alex? Much to his curiosity, he went to John who was still sitting by the chair.
"Anything you want to tell me, Soap?" he asked, patting his comrade's shoulder.
"Bugger off, mate. Let's just go to the meeting." he replied, Roach couldn't tell if he was sad or disappointed or mad, but it may have something to deal with France crying.
"Whatever mate. I'm always here if you want to talk it out." he assured, and he was in fact true. It's been a month since the Task Force was created and Gary was the team's therapist, everybody's friend and ally no matter what. He always felt that he could feel everyone's emotions and believes he could be a sponge for someone who's unable to deal with the trauma. Ghost was one of his customers, he had a lot to deal with and Gary was always there for him.
"Few hours ago, our informants intercepted with a group of armed men on a safehouse near the borders of Germany. They told us that there was a man named Augustus who happens to be our step closer to Nero." Gary took note of the information General Shepherd relayed, his scribbles became faster as the General continued.
"We also received word that our hostage, Samantha Coleman is with them in one of these houses. We have to proceed with caution as this area may be rigged with traps or surrounded with tangos." he added.
"As for rules of engagement, fire only when fired upon. This is a local settlement and civilians may be anywhere. We don't want to create unnecessary civilian casualties just to retrieve a single person." he instructed. Gary took a quick survey of the room, everyone looked at the screen intently, he could see MacTavish's eyebrows furrowed in anger, France's eyes were downright sad and Alex, despite being a CIA agent, actually looked worried.
"As for assignments, I'll let your captain take the floor." Shepherd concluded and exited the area, Price then stepped forward and began briefing.
~
The silent chirping of the crickets echoed from the nearby forest. Gary took a cold exhale and leaned on the railings just outside their quarters.
"Big day tomorrow, huh?" Ghost surprised Roach as he spoke.
"Yeah, it's been a long time since I spotted, but I still know the basics." Gary answered. He and Ghost were assigned for sniper support a few clicks away from the Alpha Team lead by Alex and the Bravo Team lead by Captain Price.
"Your math is good and fast?" Ghost asked, chuckling at the question. Gary inhaled before he answered the question.
"Yeah. Try me." he dared, glancing at the masked man.
"Suppose there's a target about 516 meters far, the wind is one half value." Ghost planned out the situation. Gary's gears started turning as he scratched his freshly shaven chin.
"Five degrees. Descending." he muttered. Ghost thought about it and agreed.
"Yeah. Your math is still on point." he mused laughing at him.
"What do you think Nero is up to? I mean it all doesn't add up. And what's with erasing memories?" Gary flooded the man with questions. Simon just pondered without saying any words.
"I dunno mate. I'm as baffled as you are." he replied, waving to Alex and France who were out on a late night walk.
"Say Gary, what's the deal with the new girl? One minute she looks tough as nuts then the second Soap comes in she's fucking crying?" Ghost rambled. Gary could feel a hint of jealousy but not entirely. It's as if he's mad and jealous at the same time.
"Well, we were too far from their table and I couldn't hear anything. Maybe they had an argument while Soap was out with her on the training room?" Gary speculated, he saw Simon's fists clench as he left his side.
"Eh. Not that I care anyway. Get some rest, spotter. Big day tomorrow." he remarked and went to his room.
"Yeah yeah." he replied waving at the two walking around the oval. They both waved back and Gary yelled good night to them before entering the quarters himself.
Gary plopped on his bed and closed his eyes. He was actually nervous enough that he could hear his own heartbeat, he took deep breaths and lulled himself to sleep. He wanted to see to it that they save the hostage tomorrow and a perfect sleep is what he could contribute right now.

Gary hated the ghillie suits. It was heavy, uncomfortable and animals sometimes land on you, but it does the job well. Treading the dense forestry just above the safehouse, Gary and Simon head out to look for a perfect spot.
"This one's got a view of the houses." Ghost whispered, signaling Roach to move forward.
"This is Echo Three One, we've cleared the two houses on the right, all empty. Over." Alex reported over their comms.
"Bravo Six copies that and the two houses here are also clear." Price reported.
"Looks like it's going to be the one on the far side." Soap concluded.
"I've got eyes on the safehouse. There's no activity on all windows. Proceed with caution." Ghost reported.
"Rog." Price replied.
"Copy that, eye in the sky." Alex replied.
Gary put out his spotting scope and placed his eye behind the lens.
"I've got my eyes on them, Ghosty. Alpha Team is on its way." he whispered.
Ghost rolled some knobs on his sniper making a soft clicking sound as he spins it.
"Don't call me that, Bug. I have eyes on Bravo Team. Still no movement from the safehouse."
"This is Alpha Team, approaching the left side of the safehouse."
"Bravo Team is Oscar Mike as well."
"Roach, did you see that?" Ghost whispered.
"Yeah. The winds are shifting." Gary noted, sticking out a tool that detects wind speed.
"Three Fourths value at 400 meters. 15 miles per hour. Adjust to 15.3" he informed, calculating on Ghosts still shoulder with a pen. Decimals are too dangerous to calculate mentally. Ghost's sniper clicked once again to adjust with the wind, he took a deep breath and his targets stabilized once again.
Leaves rustled behind them, Roach quickly held on his rifle and slowly turned back to check if it was an animal. Nothing, but before turning back on his scope, he saw a black figure from the corner of his eye.
"Bollocks. We've got movement on our Six." Roach reported.
"Remember our ROE, Roach. Fire only when fired upon." Price reminded.
"I'll take care of it from here. You go check on that." Ghost said as he turned back to his scope.
"Roger that. Be safe." Roach quickly ran to the direction if the rustling.
He couldn't make out much of the figure, but he was sure enough it was human. He tried to look for areas where the leaves were disturbed but with the wind picking up, he was clueless. Then there it was again, movement. He quickly dashed to it's direction, not wanting to get lost again. His boots slapped the fresh soil as he made his wauy to a clearing.
'Left, right then left by the rocks.' Gary mentally noted his each turn so he could easily remember but when he's chasing someone whom he felt like it doesn't know where it goes, then it's a whole different story.
Gary was alone in the windy forest, in pursuit of a person who's out on the woods at five in the morning. He wanted to go back but there's something that bothered him and convinced him to keep chasing it.
"Roach, you okay? They're almost in the safehouse." Ghost pointed out.
"Yeah haaaah… I'm still haaaah… hot on its trail." Gary panted. He suddenly turned when he heard a yelp.
"It's a girl. It might be our hostage." he radioed and followed the direction of the sound.
Soft sobs and English curse words could be heard from where Gary emerged. This alerted the injured female and she plead at the British solider.
"Please. I'm not an enemy. I'm I'm- I don't know who I am or where I am… Please. Don't hurt me." She was an American girl, possibly around 20-30 years old and had blonde hair wearing a black tank top and grey sweatpants, there were a few bruises on her arms and she was threatening him with a stick.
"Maam, put down your weapon and calm down. I will not hurt you." he dropped his weapon slowly on the ground stepped forward, his hands both raised.
"Good good. I need help." she whimpered, looking at her sprained ankle.
Gary immediately took his ghillie off and ripped a piece of his sleeves to wrap around the sprain, treating it with something from his medical kit.
"There you go… You're feeling better now? Maam?" Gary accommodated. The unknown blonde nodded in agreement.
"So.. you don't know who you are?" Gary asked.
"All I know is that I'm with another girl, Brunette." she added.
"I located the one out on the woods. She's American but I can't ID her. She's about 20 - 30 years old, short blonde hair." Gary informed.
"Is that Maxine?" Alex and France simultaneously replied over comms.
"Excuse me. Do you go by Maxine?" Gary asked politely. The girl quickly covered her ears and screamed.
"Aaaaaah! My head hurts!" She yelled. Gary was quick enough to cover her mouth as soon as she opened it as to not give away their presence.
"I don't know if that's a yes or a no guys. But that definitely is a reaction." Gary said over the comms. He assisted "Maxine" and lifted her up as he tries to get back to Ghost.
"Thick trees everywhere. Any Idea where you are Ghost?" he asked over the secure radio.
"I'm at the same spot I've been since we got here. Can't you retrace your steps?" he replied.
"I could try." he muttered, carrying an unconscious woman on his shoulders across the jungle.

Found You
Part 8 to '100 Promises'
Previous Chapter | Next Chapter
Warnings: swearing, I think that's it
"Oh shit... agh, brainfreeze," you cursed, holding your head. It was a hot summer afternoon, and you had decided to get ice cream with Niragi. "Dumbass," he laughed, watching you groan in pain. You glared at him, the pain going away. "Fuck off," you said, going back to slowly licking at the ice cream. He shook his head, laughing slightly.
He made his way through the hole in the wall. No, it wasn't a hallway, a literal hole in the wall. It went through and led into the kitchen. He had found out about it once when he saw Last Boss come out of it during one of his patrols. He followed it, and saw were it lead. By process of elimination he had narrowed down the other player of the game to be Last Boss. So, in a general assumption, he assumed you would be in the kitchen. It was dark as he made his way through it, hoping to get out of it as soon as possible. It gave him a bad feeling. Why was there a random hole in the wall leading to the kitchen? It seemed awfully strange to him. Like something out of a horror game when the monster jumps out to attack you. "Oh hell no, damn my thoughts straight to hell," he cursed, walking faster through the tunnel.
Finally, he was at the entrance to the kitchen. It was covered up by a couple things, but, he managed. When he did he heard you giggling about something.
"You know, I think this was a great idea," you giggled, nibbling on one of the cookies. "I know of quite a few places to hide if you ever need one. It can get... loud... hectic... and chaotic here," Last Boss responded. You smiled. You were about to bite the cookie again, before arms were around you. In the moment, you panicked, grabbing the person back and flipping them onto their back. You quickly grabbed the knife you'd picked up earlier, pointing it them, before noticing it was Niragi. You let out a relieved sigh. "Ow... that hurt," he groaned, sitting up, holding the back of his head "Sorry. Don't sneak up on me like that," you said. He smirked. "That makes 1,853 games of hide and seek in a row I've won. 8 year winning streak," he bragged, obviously over getting hurt. "Oh go fuck yourself, you whore," you insulted, flipping him off, sticking your tongue out. You turned to Last Boss and smiled. "It was nice hiding with you," you said. Said man was confused on how you kept switching between your emotions so quickly. "Oh... uh, it was nice... hiding with you too, I guess," he responded. You laughed, holding a hand out to Niragi. He grabbed onto you, and you helped him up. "See, I'm a bitch, but at least I'm just a bad bitch, not a heartless bitch," you laughed. He smiled a bit. Standing in the kitchen with you talking, the warmth. Even Last Boss was talking to you. Everything about it felt like home. Home felt like you. Home felt like the feeling he got whenever he was with you. Maybe it was because you were home.
He watched as you talked avidly with Last Boss. You two seemed to get along, which was good. "Shit, it's already 12 am? Don't we have a supply run thingy tomorrow?" You questioned, finally noticing the time. "Uh... yeah," Niragi responded. "At least were not drunk... then Aguni might have a problem," Last Boss said. Both men shuddered, remembering what had happened last time. "Ooh, spill!" You said, sitting on top of one of the counters. Last Boss shook his head, and Niragi looked away. "Was it that bad?" You asked, a smirk building it's way across your face. "One thing you'll notice about Aguni is... he's like... a military dad. He's strict, but also doesn't care at the same time? But there's rules. And since there's few rules, it's not like you can forget. So... yeah," Niragi explained. "Can't wait to actually meet this man and see if you guys are exaggerating," you giggled. "Alright, get off the counter so we can go to your room," Niragi sighed, stretching his arms. "Carry me?" You asked, hiding your laughter. "Last time you said that, we both fell down the stairs," he reminded, rolling his eyes. "That's because you have weak noodle arms you lanky bitch," you said, laughing. "Ahahahaha fuck you."
You three finally made your way up the stairs. "So, does everyone just... party the whole night?" You asked, seeing as there was no on really in the lobby, but you could still hear the heavy bass of the loud music playing outside. Niragi nodded. "Fun for them, annoying for those who actually try to sleep," Last Boss commented. It was really just a paradise for people. A safe haven for players. And why wouldn't it? There's protection, other people, food, supplies, electricity. Anything you could want or need was at the Beach. It was curious how they managed to put it all together. So well thought out.
"Well... goodnight," you said, opening the door to your new room. "I'll wake you up tomorrow. By any means necessary," he stated, disappearing into his room. You sighed, closing the door behind you. It felt the same, but it was different. You knew that it would be hard to adjust, but a part of you had already adjusted. Maybe it was the years of torture through your childhood, or the things you put up with in your day to day life, but this didn't feel weird at all. It felt... normal. Besides the games, no negatives were really made clear to you. So, what was so bad about being here? It seemed better than your normal life. You sighed, shaking your head. You shouldn't be thinking like that, your life before was just fine with Niragi. You thought you had lost him. But, then you found him here. So even in places of despair and chaos, you could find a silver lining. "Ick... that sounds cheesy," you muttered, getting under the covers of the bed. The second you laid down, all the pain in your body was alleviated. The pillows were cold under you, the bed soft. You let out a satisfied sigh. If this was what staying at the Beach was like, you wouldn't mind. But, you also couldn't let yourself fall into that mentality. Your eyes drooped slowly, sleep taking over your body.
"And how was your date?" You asked as soon as he walked into through the door. "We never speak of her again," was all he said with a groan. "Goddamn, that bad? What did she do?" You questioned, as he walked over to the couch, sitting besides you. "Well, at first, she was ok. Then she immediately went into the topic of money, which like big red flag, but I didn't care. Right after we started talking about friends and family. I brought you up, and she was all like 'no, you see, that's not going to work because I have to be the only special girl in your life' and I was like, well... jealous much? I don't know who hurt her but it's... ugh," he groaned. Niragi had never been interested I'm dating per se. He didn't have any interest in anyone all throughout high school, which was one of the reasons people thought you two were together. "What about you? How'd it go?" He asked. "Not great. He was narcissistic, misogynistic, and rude. Like... 'women belong in the kitchen' kind of misogyny. God it was horrible. A total incel of a boy," you explained, shaking your head. "Looks like we both have trouble with dating, hm?" He said, leaning his head back, staring up at the ceiling, following the cracks in them. He'd always suggested you two move, especially with the occupation both of you had, you could afford to move somewhere else. You'd always tell him to wait a couple years because you never know what could happen. You had always said, "What if you meet the person of your dreams and decide to move in with them?" He never thought much about having someone else. It was always (Y/N) and Niragi against the world. It seemed weird to his mother last time she had called to ask about that. He'd told her the same thing. "No one really... interests me. No one ever has."
Now, his mother was a person who changed herself for the better. She had never had the courage to leave her husband, his father, however. She observed her son's behavior, and asked him something that really made his mind question itself. "Do you think no one interests you... because you like (Y/N)? In a more than friend way, I mean." He had never thought about that. At all. He had only ever known kindness from you, and his mother later in life. So, did he? He couldn't have. It would be wrong, wouldn't it? To insinuate such a thing to you?
Screaming, heat, fires, crumbling debris all around you fell. The smoke and ash heavy in the air. " 'Ragi?! What's going on?!"
Shattered glass stuck onto your arms, blood dripping onto the asphalt. "You can't leave me... you can't, not again!"
Wake up.
"(Y/N), you can't leave me now..."
"I can! What the hell made you think that was ok!"
Wake up.
"You're bleeding!"
"No shit Sherlock. It's called getting shot. Somehow, I just can't seem to die."
"Don't fucking say that!''
Wake up.
"Oi! Wake up!"
"Don't leave me-! What the hell? What's going on?"
"It's time to wake up. We have a supply run to do.''

Days We Spend Under the Sun
Written for @helsa-summer-event 💖
Fandom: Frozen
Genre: Romance, Family, Fluff, Whump
Rating: T
Summary: Summer is not her favourite season, but a certain Admiral from the neighbouring kingdom is going to change that.
Tumblr media
This is a continuous work which consists of eleven chapters for seven prompts. External links for better reading experience are in the notes.
Prologue
The ballroom was crowded. Too crowded, or at least she thought so.
After ten months, the war had finally ended, and when summer rolled in, the people of Arendelle could finally rejoice. Celebration came in the form of the Queen's birthday ball, which was held in late June. The ball, of course, was held for the people and some dignitaries or ambassadors from neighbouring kingdoms, who had been generous enough in helping Arendelle during that time of need.
"The party is too dull for your liking?"
At the familiar voice, she didn't turn. Focusing her eyes on the smiling queen, who was talking to some members of the Royal Council, she half-shrugged.
"On the contrary," Elsa said, "I find it rather grand. It's been a while since the last time I attended this kind of celebration."
"I don't believe that is a reason to not enjoy the party, Your Highness." The man standing beside her added.
She smiled, before shaking her head. "I told you not to call me that, Hans." Feeling a hand resting on the small of her back, she bit her lower lip, before turning to him. "And I told you not to do that."
Hans raised a brow and threw her a look. "What a contradictive order! First you told me not to address you with the title, then you told me not to touch you because we're in public?" He said, before leaning closer to murmur, "Elsa, you need to be specific."
Elsa blushed furiously as she tucked her hair behind her ear. It was obvious that the close proximity did something to her.
"I mean, I don't think the title is necessary." She replied. "I'm just Elsa to everyone."
He stood before her, placing a finger under her chin, certainly ignoring her previous request. "We are now officially courting, and the Councilmen know that." His emerald gaze softened. "Also, you are not just Elsa to me."
Elsa blushed. She hated to admit that she was in love, but she couldn't help the strange sensation in her stomach, as her heart beat a little faster. "Yes, the Councilmen know, but the people don't."
But instead of complying, Hans held out his hand for her. "Would you like to dance, or would you like to go to the balcony to get some fresh air? You look like you can use some."
Exhaling, Elsa knew she had no other choice. "The balcony would be fine." She took his hand.
Once they stepped out to the deserted balcony, thoughts began to run through her mind. Sure, they were officially courting, but what would happen next was uncertain. With Hans still having both his Southern Isles citizenship and his position as an Admiral in the said kingdom, Elsa thought that he would be leaving soon with the last contingent. After all, he was still under his king's direct order, and with the war ended, his service to the Arendellian Navy was no longer in use.
Elsa laid a hand on the railing. She wished she was back in the Enchanted Forest at the moment, even for a brief second, to get a taste of freedom. Deep down, she regretted not agreeing to Honeymaren and Ryder's offer to go back to the Enchanted Forest with them the day before, but she had a birthday ball to attend. Besides, Hans was still needed in Arendelle for the final preparation before the last contingent could leave. The thought of him leaving once again gave her a slight pang in her chest.
"Elsa." He gently called her name.
She didn't turn. From the way he spoke, it was obvious that he was about to tell her something.
"I'm staying."
His words, which she didn't expect to hear, were enough to catch her attention. The faint music from the ballroom was playing in the background, yet his voice was loud and clear in her ear.
"What?" Elsa's blue eyes widened. "But, I thought—"
Hans quickly placed a gloved finger on her lips, silencing her. His emerald pair bore into her blue ones, as he gently rubbed her cheek with his knuckles.
"You really thought I'd leave you here forever, after that confession?"
If she wanted to be honest, yes, she did think so. At this point, anything is possible, since the future is full of possibilities.
"Not forever, though." Elsa sighed, giving into his touch. "It's just, you said you'd go back to the sea, to continue your job as an Admiral."
"Elsa," his tone was gentle, as he tucked a few strands of platinum hair behind her ear. "You do know that my brother only made me an Admiral so that I would die in the battlefield, don't you?"
She nodded slowly, her brows knitted.
"And now that the war is over and I'm still alive, let's say my presence back in the Southern Isles is not wanted. I love my job so much, yes. But something has captured my heart here."
Her heart swelled, as the corner of her lips tugged upwards. "The sea?"
Hans smiled. "Nah, more like someone." He poked her small nose with his finger. "You."
"Well, Admiral Westergaard," she began, "I think you deserve a reward for that."
"Tell me, Fifth Spirit," he pulled her closer by the waist, "what would the reward be?"
Her gaze fell from his eyes to a pair of lips that looked ripe for her to capture.
Leaning in, she murmured, "a kiss."
Pulling him in by his cravat, Elsa pressed her lips against his. She smiled to the kiss as she combed her fingers through his auburn hair, before settling on the back of his head. His hand settled on the small of her back as he pulled her closer, deepening the kiss. Warmth spread on his chest, as he, too, was smiling to the kiss.
Once they pulled away breathlessly, Elsa stared up at him. She rested her forehead against his, smiling ear to ear. Her blue eyes were still closed, as she breathed in his familiar scent.
"Are you really staying, Hans?"
Her eyes fluttered open when she felt him moving. "Kaere," the nickname had always succeeded in making her blush, "I am." Hans tenderly cradled her face, as he pressed a small kiss on her nose. "At least for the entire summer."
She let out a giggle. "Okay."
At least having him stay for the summer was better than him leaving soon. Elsa decided that they should make the most of the time they had, but what he said next was something she didn't expect.
"The other day, you said that you need to go back to the Enchanted Forest to check on the spirits and Ahtohallan." He paused, taking both of her hands in his. "What do you say to a trip starting tomorrow?"
"Hans, what?" Her mouth was agape, as her brows knitted in confusion.
Hans placed one hand on her waist, while the other was still holding her face. "You see, I'd love to spend more time with you. This summer is the perfect opportunity for us, and I think we should travel north tomorrow, after breakfast if possible."
Elsa was too stunned, but travelling with Hans? She had never thought that she would end up with him as a significant other, let alone adventuring together. Of course, she would love to! But before she could answer, footsteps came approaching. From behind the door, Queen Anna walked out.
"Admiral Westergaard—oh, Elsa!" Anna blinked, but the corner of her lips tugged upwards. With narrowed eyes, she asked, "I hope I didn't interrupt anything."
Elsa smiled. "No, actually." She then turned to the Admiral. "We were just talking."
He bowed. "Your Majesty, is there anything you need?"
Anna quickly composed herself as she cleared her throat. "Yes, actually, Admiral. I remember you wanted to talk to me about the arrangement?" For a moment, Hans blinked in confusion, as if he tried to remember. "The arrangement regarding the last contingent, Admiral."
"Oh, forgive me, Your Majesty! It seems like I have had too much champagne tonight." He smiled sheepishly, still holding a smiling Elsa.
The blonde glanced between her sister and the Admiral, and wondered what they were actually up to. She opened her mouth to speak, when Anna came approaching with a smile.
"Alright, then." The queen said. "Oh, and Elsa, it's good to have you here." She kissed her sister's cheek, ruffling her hair slightly.
"It's your birthday ball, Anna, of course I'm here." Elsa let go of Hans' hand and returned the gesture with a quick hug.
Anna beamed. "Well, I guess I should leave you both to it. See you in the morning, sis." Turning to the former prince, she added, "I'll be in my office with Prince Kristoff, Admiral."
"Your Majesty." He bowed.
The queen, not forgetting to wink at her big sister, then made her way towards the door, before disappearing into the dim hallway. Once her footsteps faded, the couple was finally left in silence. It seemed like the party had ended, and people began to retire.
"Hans?" The blonde said, reaching out for his hand. She smiled gently when she saw the look of worry on his face. "I'd love to travel with you. I need to check on the forest and Ahtohallan too, so yeah, we can leave after breakfast."
"Really?" Gone was any trace of worry, as Hans beamed in excitement. "I mean, sure! That's great!" He exhaled in relief, before leaning in to press his lips against her forehead. "I love you, Kaere."
Elsa closed her eyes, enjoying the warmth that was slowly engulfing her. "And I love you too."
As he rested his forehead against hers, she opened her eyes and stared into his emerald ones. Never did she think that she would end up with him. The history they shared wasn't exactly pleasant, and sometimes they were still reminded of the past, especially being in Arendelle. But the past year has taught them so much. Love did save, after all.

venomous words
Tumblr media
on a rainy afternoon in new jersey, the kids didn't have an option to go outside or not since they knew how strict their mother was on days like this and how their father would react if he saw mud tracked into the house. they'd be toast with the chancla.
so ellie played with her barbie dolls on the carpet in the living room floor with a small smile on her face, giovanni sat on the couch and watched over his baby sister while trying to look for something to watch in netflix, specifically a movie. luke and auggie were upstairs in their room playing whatever the newer generation was into. the two boys were in sweats that had crumbs on them since the boys were munching on potato chips as they played their game. their mother had just arrived from long and stressful day at work, she sat in her car for a minute or two to collect herself before entering her home where her babies and husband would be waiting for arrival. well maybe just her babies... once again.
she covered herself with her purple umbrella since it was pouring rain as she got out her car, closed the door and locked it before walking to her front porch that wrapped around the house. she closed her umbrella as soon as she was covered by the porch's roof. she grabbed her house key out of her pocket and opened her door.
"mom's home!"
she hasn't stepped foot into her home and she was already called out by her kids. luke and auggie jumped out their beds and ran downstairs as soon as they heard their older brother yell. ellie dropped her doll and skipped over to her mommy as gio stood up from the couch and walked over to her.
as sara closed the door behind her and turned around, she was attacked by hugs all over her body. from her thighs to her shoulders, her children had her trapped in a loving hug.
after she kissed them each and asked about how their day went, they went back to what they were doing before she came home. later they were expecting a home cooked meal that she always provided for them since mattia rarely cooked for them nowadays and sara didn't like having her kids eating fast food all the time either for their health. at times it was acceptable but if they didn't need to eat it then they wouldn't.
sara was now sitting at the island that was in the kitchen, she opened the bottled water she grabbed from the fridge and took a sip.
"how was work?" her oldest son's voice came from behind her. he walked from behind her to next to her and leaned against the marble island. "stressful. overwhelming. busy. i don't know how i'm gonna do it..." she rubs her temples with a groan. "don't over work yourself, ma. you got this, you always do." gio rubs his moms shoulder softly and flashed her a smile. a smile that made her feel better and made her smile.
"i know it's just that i wanna do as much as i can for this project. i've worked my ass off for years for this to finally happen and i'm so close. only a few more months of ridiculous amount of stress then i'll have my own clothing line." a weak smile formed on her lips, gio's heart swells at the sight. he knows how much his mom has been wanting this but he also knows how much she can overwork herself.
"isn't dad helping you with any of it? he said he would, right?" gio asked with his mother with hope as she took another sip of her water. "uh yeah. he is but there's certain things he can't help with." she gave her son a tight smile laced with lies.
truth is mattia hadn't even talked to sara about her huge project that she has been working on for over a year now. he thinks his wife can do it herself because of how strong she is but little did he know how weak she was getting from handling everything by herself. she was never the one to ask for help but this time she did ask for help from her husband but his answer?
"you're being dramatic"
so she never asked again and instead asked her close friends who were of course open to help with anything she needed. she knew that the kids had brought up the project while they talked to mattia recently either at dinner or something similar. and being the good father mattia is he had to lie because he knew if his kids found out their parents weren't helping each other out then they'd question why and jump to conclusions which leads to arguments and picking "sides".
"oh yeah. i've been helping her with scheduling everything and keeping the tabloids updated. she's not as stress thanks to me."
sara would just simply nod and give a small nod to the kids and glare at mattia who just rolled his eyes at her.
"like what?" gio asked. "it's personal business stuff, g. don't worry about it, okay? i'll be fine. but did your dad take you guys out for breakfast like he said he would?" she changed the subject with a smile.
gio avoided eye contact with her which she automatically meant no.
"h-he just forgot. that's all." he stuttered a bit. sara tried to remain as calm as she could. she didn't want to lash out in front of her baby and took a mental note to talk to mattia tonight about not taking the kids out for breakfast.
"you don't have to lie to me, ya know? i won't get mad at him." she sighed and gave her son a reassuring look. "when i woke up this morning he wasn't here. he sent me a text as well saying that something came up and he had to go meet up with his manager for a gig." he simply explains. "so i made breakfast for us instead and lunch too. he sent us money for post mates but i was just mad-" he stopped himself from venting to his mother about his father.
"i didn't use the money. that's all." he shrugs as sara looks at him with sympathy.
"he promised me that he'd try hard for us. to try being more involved... why would he lie?" gio claps his hands together. "sometimes work gets in the way of things, honey. trust me if he could clear his schedule for a whole week just to be with us he would, okay?" the fact that sara was defending mattia wasn't something she wanted to do.
she had to because she didn't want her son to think bad about his own father, she was trying to protect at least both of them.
after their little conversation sara made dinner while the kids were being entertained by the activities they were doing before she got home. as sara looked over at the clock, she sighed.
it was seven o' clock and mattia still wasn't home. usually he'd send his wife a text saying that he was going to be home late but when sara checked her phone she had no new messages. the kids were now sitting at the table with their mother. she sneaked a quick text to mattia before eating with her babies.
sara: are you on your way yet?
she got no response after she sent it. she called twice and still nothing. she was beyond livid at this point. first, he didn't take the kids out for the day, then he doesn't respond to her text or calls her back? this was the third time this month that this occurred. she didn't show it but she was pissed off at dinner and while she tucked this kids into bed.
"is daddy gonna tuck me in too?" ellie asked as she held onto her stuffed giraffe. "yes, baby. of course. when he gets home i'll tell him to come and give you a kiss, okay?" sara's soft voice said as she placed a strand of hair behind her ear. ellie simply smiled at her mother.
"goodnight, angel. te amo." sara kisses ellie's nose. "buenas noches, mommy. te amo mas." the two giggled. once sara finishes tucking in her kids, she goes to her bathroom to take a shower. she then changed into some house shorts and one of mattia's shirts that fit her like a dress.
she went to the living room and ate ice cream as she watched good girls. without even knowing it, she fell asleep on the couch. she was woken up by someone whispering her name softly and rubbing her cheek gently with their palm.
she opened her eyes to see mattia with a smile. oh how much she wanted to wipe that stupid smile off his stupid face.
"did you make dinner?" he questions her. "yeah. we ate already so i put your plate in the fridge. now if you excuse me i'm going to bed." she was too tired to deal with him right now. she would have to be up bright and early tomorrow for meetings and such so she just didn't want to argue with her husband right now.
she got up from the couch and tried walking away but mattia reached out for her hand to stop her.
"you guys didn't wait for me? what happened to family dinners?" he asks with a pout as he held her hand. she quickly glanced at the clock on the wall for a time check.
2:34 a.m.
"i was not gonna wait till now to eat with you and neither were the kids, mattia. family dinners means that everyone has to be here at reasonable times." she sighs and glares at him. "where were you anyways, mattia? it's past midnight and you barely got home." she questions quickly and changed the subject.
"i was out. it's not a big deal, babe." he scoffs at her.
"not a big deal? if it's not a big deal then why can't you tell me where you were?" she remarked quickly and crossed her arms over her chest.
mattia gives her a look, as if she was crazy or something. all she wanted to know was where he was at, what was so hard about that?
he started walking to the kitchen, sara quickly followed him.
"sara, i've had a long day. please don't start with me right now..." he huffs as he opens the fridge and grabs his plate of cold food. "says the guy who comes home late smelling like alcohol and cigarettes." she looks at him from across the island.
"i didn't do shit! all i did was go to a bar with alejandro and alvaro after i finished my meetings. they drank but i didn't because i knew you'd react like this and treat me like some kid!" he was getting frustrated with her at this point, he showed it by banging his fist on the island. his breath reeked of alcohol so she was even more pissed off that he was lying to her about drinking.
"all i wanted to do was come home to my wife and kids. a nice home cooked meal and after the kids go to bed and we all settle down, maybe some good sex with my wife but i can't have that can't i? ever since you've gotten this attitude all you ever do is complain! you're on bitch mood twenty four seven, sara!" he was now raising his voice at her.
sara had no energy to argue with him right now. literally nothing left. she had a long day, she just wanted to sleep. she looked at him with tired eyes, she scanned his facial expression and saw the anger he always had all of a sudden now. right now she ignored it and walked away, but he didn't let her.
"where the fuck are you going?" he turned her around a little bit too rough. "to bed, mattia! i'm too tired to deal with your bullshit right now." she stated as she tried not to yell at him.
"whatever. go ahead, walk away. that's all you're good at since you can't do anything right. you definitely can't be a good wife." his words felt like knives. she felt like her heart was getting stabbed completely, over and over again.
she walked off, pretending that what he just said didn't phase her and went upstairs quietly so she wouldn't wake the kids.
little did she know, gio was hiding behind a pillar near the stairs where he heard everything.
she went to the room which she shared with her "husband" and jumped into bed. she laid in bed for a minute, thinking about what mattia said. his words repeating in her head like that one song that could never get out of your head.
"you definitely can't be a good wife."
those venomous words scared her pretty much. she couldn't believe he said that... why would he say that? was she really not a good wife? what was she doing that made her so horrible to him? was it the kisses? was it her cooking? was it her looks? was it the sex? the constant need of having him around? what was it?
whatever it was made her feel like she wasn't good enough which was not the case.
sara was always good enough.
she cried herself to sleep that night. and hours later she felt his presence next to her body, his arms wrapped around her keeping her warm but it didn't make her feel loved like it usually did. no, she had a different feeling. she felt like she was in bed with a stranger. why was she feeling this way? shouldn't she be happy that he was still willing to sleep in the same bed with her?
all the questions she thought of made her feel more insecure, not about herself but about her marriage with the man she loved so much. the last thing she wanted was to lose him, it would ruin her.
she hopes for an apology of some sort. perhaps a date to make it up, she'd be willing to forgive him. she knows he lied about not drinking, mattia could never say no to not have a beer or three with the boys. he wasn't thinking straight, she knows her husband too well.
he just didn't want to admit that he was drinking because he didn't want to feel more guilt than he was already feeling since he missed out on dinner.
so the next morning she was woken up by the smell of pancakes and bacon. she went downstairs and saw gio and mattia cooking at the stove, auggie and ellie coloring on the table while luke looked sleep deprived as he walked into the kitchen with his mom.
"morning, amor." mattia walks over to her holding a plate of stacked pancakes with all the works. he bends down a bit to kiss her oh so sweetly, they both smile into the kiss. "i handled everything you needed to do today so we can all spend quality family time and to start off the day i thought of making breakfast." he hands her the plate where she takes it and sits at the table. once everyone is served the all began to eat.
"you have to cook more, pop. these smack!" auggie speaks as he licks his lips. "maybe i will." mattia laughs as he looks over at his son. "how'd you sleep, ma?" gio asked simply. the way he asked her sounded like he knew something (which he did since he heard what his father told his mom last night) but no one thought too much of it.
"good, baby." she lied with a smile. gio could tell that she was lying but he wasn't going to confront her about eavesdropping on her and mattia.
they all ate breakfast in peace and with joy. gio couldn't stop looking at his mom and dad. especially, his mom since she seemed so happy. didn't mattia's drunk words hurt her? was she really pretending that nothing happened between her and her husband? he couldn't believe she was still protecting mattia after what he told her.
"what's up with you?" luke nudges his older brother's elbow slightly. "what?" was gio's response. "you keep on staring at mom. i get that she's beautiful but it's starting to look weird now. quit it." luke let out a dry chuckle after he spoke.
gio just rolled his eyes and finished his breakfast. once the family finished eating they were told to get ready for a day out. mattia said that he'd be taking them out to the carnival since it happened to be in town.
"hey, can we talk?" mattia closed the door behind him as he walked into his bedroom. sara was sitting at her vanity deciding what necklace to wear that she had in her jewelry box.
"yeah, what's up?" she nods and turns her body to face him. he sits in the edge of their bed as she sat across from him in her spinning stool.
"first off, i want to apologize for last night. i know i should've gave you a heads up about dinner and coming home late. yes, i did drink and i didn't mean any of what i said. i was drunk and stupid. i'm sorry, mamas." he gave a look filled with guilt and he really didn't mean those things that he told her last night.
"tia... i accept your apology, okay? you just had me worried because you weren't texting or calling me back. and i just had a stressful day overall yesterday." she sighed. "i know, baby. you shouldn't be overworking yourself either. i also took the liberty of organizing all of your meetings and handling the little things for your project. i know you've wanted this for the longest time and i hate to see you so worrisome about the little things, babe. i wanted to help you." he explains which made her heart feel a certain way. only he was able to give her that feeling as crazy as it sounds.
"i really do have the best husband in the world, huh?" she giggles. "and i have the best wife ever. being all sexy and shit." he winks at her which makes her blush.
"come give me a kiss." he adds and she obeys. she gets up from her chair and straddles mattia's lap, wrapping her arms around his neck and plays with his hair. she dips her head down, he catches her lips with his own. the kiss was soft and sweet, all of their worries seemed to wash away. almost as if all their problems went away as well... boy were they in for it.

Idol BTS! Reaction To You Having A Terminal Illness Part 2
Tumblr media
Hey there! I didn't think my terminal illness reaction was that good. Thank you so much. I'm pretty shocked that you actually wanna read more to it. So I hope you like it, anon!
• • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • •
Kim Seokjin:
Jin sat at the very bench where he had found out about your illness. He still wasn't over you, he would never be. It had been a year since you passed away and this was a usual habit of his. He would come to this place and imagine as if you were sitting by him, listening to whatever he had to say. He closed his eyes and let the wind caress his face. "Hello, princess. I'm back, as always." He let out a chuckle at his own words. "I hope heaven's treating you well. If they aren't, then they better be careful. I'll be there soon, you know." He said, looking at the stars in the sky. Jin knew very well that soon meant a pretty long time, but he was willing to wait it out. "Oh, did I mention that they tried to set me up on a blind date again? Yeah, I don't understand why they wouldn't give up because there's no way someone else can be what you were to me." He mumbled, eyes gazing at the empty seat next to him. He remembered how you told him that he had to find someone. Someone who would love him as you did. But Jin knew that there was no one. There could never be. Suddenly, his phone rung, screen flashing jungkook's name. He shook his head and ignored the call. "I'll be back, princess. Take care. I love you." He smiled at the stars. Getting up from the bench, he went to his car, knowing that he'll be back and you'll listen to him. Like always.
Tumblr media
Kim Namjoon:
Namjoon stood near the grey stone, your name engraved in it. It gave him great comfort in knowing that you were still here, beneath all the mud, resting in peace now. He kneeled beside your grave, placing the fresh orchids above all the other flowers. Everyone had gone home after the ceremony was over, leaving Namjoon to grieve in his own way. Your family had also left with heavy hearts, tears streaming down their faces on the loss of someone so dear to them. "I miss you, already," Namjoon whispered, clenching his eyes shut, trying not to cry. Not being able to hold it back, he let it all out. Taking off his glasses that you loved so much, he covered his face with his hands. The gentle wind ruffled his hair as if it were your fingers. He felt your presence, your head on his shoulder, your hand rubbing his back soothingly. "It'll be okay, Joon. I promise." Your sweet voice sounding like music to his ears. He slowly removed his hands from his face, revealing his red eyes and wet cheeks. You smiled at him before placing your lips on his forehead. Namjoon knew very well that this was only an illusion and he wanted it to last as long as possible. "I know it'll be okay, Y/N." He said, crying and holding your hand as you started to fade away. "I love you." He sniffled, watching as you left him. He stood up, taking slow steps backwards, eyes never leaving your grave. Turning around, he forced himself not to look back. "I'll be fine, Y/N. I promise." He muttered, taking in a deep breath and preparing to start a life without you.
Tumblr media
Min Yoongi:
The computer screen emitted light strong enough to illuminate the dark studio. Yoongi had been writing songs for the upcoming album, barely getting any sleep. He decided to take a break and proceeded to save the track, closing the tab to reveal your face. It had been 4 years since you went to a better place but it didn't feel like it. Instead, it was as if you never left, as if you were constantly around him. Maybe it was because of a certain 12-year-old girl that had eyes like yours even though she was adopted. Yoongi sighed and closed his eyes, ready to take a nap. A few minutes later, he felt hands covering his eyes and a small giggle ringing through the studio. "You're back early," Yoongi mumbled, taking the smaller hands into his own. "Yup, I had a dream where mom told me to check on you so here I am and clearly she was right." Said your daughter, gazing around the darkroom before going to switch on the lights. Yoongi let out a groan before turning his chair around to see her sitting on the plush couch, fiddling with the hem of her school uniform. Yoongi frowned and went to sit beside her. "And what could be bothering my rockstar?" He asked, wrapping an arm around her shoulder. The young girl hesitated before raising her head to see Yoongi's concerned face. "It's Mother's Day tomorrow." She let out the words and gazed down at the carpet. Yoongi felt a wave of sadness go through him when he saw the tears trailing down his daughter's cheek. "I miss her, dad." She mumbled, voice cracking before she broke down into sobs. Yoongi pulled her into a hug and tried to control the tears threatening to spill. "She doesn't have to be here to be with you, remember? She's watching us from up there and she would hate to see us like this. Do you want her to be sad?" He said, voice as gentle as a feather. The 12-year-old shook her head and wiped her tears. Even though you left, you definitely prepared them to live without you. It wasn't easy at first but life goes on and people move on too.
Tumblr media
Jung Hoseok:
The children laughed and chased each other around, the sun shining brightly in the sky. Hoseok admired the scene in front of him, thinking about the possibilities of saving at least one of the kids from being consumed by the illness that took you away from him. He looked up at the sky and smiled. He had just made a generous donation to a cancer charity for children in your name. He didn't want anyone to ever go through the pain of losing someone in such a terrible way. He felt his coat being tugged at, making him snap out of his thoughts. He looked down to find a little girl, holding a little teddy bear in one hand. "Hello Mr, are you an angel?" She asked, looking up at him with big and hopeful eyes. He chuckled and kneeled down in front of her. "What makes you say that?" He asked, still smiling. "Ms Jo said that an angel had come to let us know that we'll be okay. I'm sorry though, you see it's our playtime so no one was inside." She explained making hoseok's heart fill with warmth. He looked down at his shoes before looking back at her. "I am not an angel, sweets. But I do have an angel who sent me here. She's watching us from up there." He said, pointing up at the sky as the girl looked up. She smiled and asked him what the angel's name was. "Y/N." He answered. The little girl nodded and handed him her teddy bear. "Will you please give her this and tell her I said thank you?" She asked, gazing at Hoseok with her innocent eyes. Hoseok looked away as his eyes started to water. It had barely been 6 months without you and he was still trying to cope with the pain. He blinked away the tears and accepted the bear, nodding with a tight-lipped smile. The girl grinned and hugged him, making Hoseok feel better. He hugged her back and let a tear slip down his cheek. Before pulling away, he quickly wiped the tear. Waving him goodbye, the little girl ran back to her friends and Hoseok walked away. Maybe life won't be so bad. Maybe, just maybe he'll be happy again.
Tumblr media
Park Jimin:
Jimin leaned his elbows on the railing in the huge balcony of the penthouse he had rented. The sun was setting on the horizon, the sky a beautiful mix of colours. This vacation was absolutely necessary after everything that he had been through. He closed his eyes and enjoyed the feeling of peace and contentment. Slowly, he felt your hands wrapped around him from behind. Smiling, he leaned his head back, resting it on your head. "Hi." You mumbled, grinning from ear to ear. He chuckled and turned around, pulling you into his chest. "Did you take your medicines?" He asked, swaying from side to side with you in his arms. You nodded and closed your eyes, listening to his heartbeat. A miracle recovery, the doctors had called it. You had survived even though everyone had already begun counting the number of days you had. "I'm happy." You stated and looked up to see Jimin's eyes. He smiled and leaned his forehead against yours. "Not more than me." He mumbled before kissing you. "I don't know what I would have done if-" you stopped him before he could complete that sentence by kissing him more deeply. Eventually, you both pulled away, gasping for breath. Jimin intertwined your fingers with his and kissed them one by one, letting his lips linger longer where the diamond ring adorned your finger. Now there was nothing that could take away the love you shared. "I can't wait to call you mine completely." He said, burying his face in your neck. You giggled and ran your hands through his hair. "And I can't wait to be yours completely." You replied, gazing at the sky which was now devoid of the sun.
Tumblr media
Kim Taehyung:
Taehyung fluffed the pillows and arranged the blankets, making sure they were comfortable enough. The light from inside the truck streamed through the glass window lighting up the back of it. Taehyung grabbed his phone and checked the time. 2:00 AM. He smiled and looked at the sky. Finally, another item was checked off the bucket list that you both shared, witness a meteor shower together. "It's almost time," Taehyung announced, looking around once more to make sure everything was okay. He got off the back to help you climb up. You were still weak from all the treatments and medicines. Once he tucked you in, he got in beside you and held you close to him. "Are you cold?" He asked, brushing your hair off of your face. You shook your head and looked up at him. Suddenly, you saw bright lights from the corner of your eye making you turn your head. The rapid movement of the stars appearing and fading had you gasping in amazement. But Taehyung couldn't take his eyes off you. He had come so close to losing you. He was relieved that everything was okay now, you were okay and so was he. "I told you I'd complete the bucket list with you, didn't I?" He asked, taking your attention away from the stars. You smiled and kissed him. "I love you so much." You stated, closing your eyes and leaning on his chest. He grinned and kissed your head. "I love you more."
Tumblr media
Jeon Jungkook:
Jungkook kicked a stone to the side as he walked beside his date for the evening. It was a blind date set up by his brother, an attempt to help him get over you. The date had thankfully come to an end and it was time to head home. Lana was a nice girl, warm and welcoming but she wasn't you. And Jungkook didn't want anyone who wasn't you. He turned to look at her when he heard her sigh. "So, who is she?" She asked, looking at the ground while continuing to walk. Jungkook almost tripped but composed himself. "What?" He looked at her with wide eyes. Lana chuckled and shook her head. "I've been on enough dates to know when someone is interested in me or someone else. So, tell me, who is that lucky girl?" She asked again, tucking her hair behind her ear. Jungkook bit his lip, guilty that he was caught. "She is no more. Died about 4 months ago." He answered. Lana stopped walking while Jungkook continued. "I'm sorry." She mumbled. Jungkook shook his head and gave her a small smile. He wasn't okay but he had to be. He promised you. Taking a glance at his watch, he cringed. It was almost midnight, he needed to hurry home. "Uh....look, I'm sorry that I probably ruined your hopes for this date but I really need to go now," Jungkook said in a rush. Lana smiled sympathetically and nodded. "I'll be here if you ever need anything." She waved her hand at him while he nodded and took off running. Opening the door to his house, he jogged to the kitchen and took out the cake that he had baked earlier in the day. Placing candles on it, he lit them up and took the cake to the living room where your photo hung on the wall above the fireplace. "Happy Birthday, my love." He whispered, blowing the candles and blinking away his tears. He missed you and he'll never stop missing you. He just needed to learn to live with this feeling and he hoped that someday he would.
Tumblr media
Personally, I don't think this is good enough but hopefully it isn't that bad.

I've been disconnected for a while
On Thursday I posted this on a fb group, I planned to put it here as well but didn't get around to it:
'I've been having very vivid dreams of late. I've put them down to overheating, stress and/or my labradorite pendent. The other night, my dream featured Angrboða (she appeared as I giant bride) and she said Loki wants me to get to know her. I'm not convinced it was a true message but in case it was, does anyone work with her?
Also, I hope you don't mind, I would like to vent. The change of the seasons (I have S.A.D.) has caused me to have some eating disordered thoughts which have made me feel very disconnected from Loki and the universe. :('
I'm not sure quite when the ED thoughts started but they took all my concentration. I also began to feel disconnected to Loki and the wider universe after I decorated my altar for Samhaim. I think I felt a pressure to celebrate it from Wiccans online, non Wiccan pagans that still celebrate the wheel of the year and just general sociaty. It didn't help that, as the 31st was actually mid-week, pub and events were spread out.
Hallowe'en used to be my favourite time of year! But nearly as soon as I decorated my altar, something about it made me feel uncomfortable. It bothered me that I was song something 'because that what pagans do' rather than something I really connected with. Idk.
I suppose it's only been a couple of weeks if that since I stopped engaging in anything magical or leaving offerings to Loki but, what with the ED thoughts, it's been very lonely.
I let the thoughts win a couple of days (one day all I had was a banana and some wine, the next I ate better but purged a bit). But then I had this weekend off. I had planned to be productive, our flat is discusting, dirty and cluttered. I don't even know if I have any cyan pants! (my wife and I are both lazy, we've both been picked up overtime a lot and she is unwell atm even worrying this feels me with guilt, shame and rage at us both) But I was full of cold. I spent the last two days, sleeping, watching TV and eating everything on sight.
Tonight I decided it was time to take action again the negative thoughts and to reconnect. I lit some candles (one white and two red that I bourght to honour Loki}, some sandelwood insence and sage, then had a shower. I attempted to clear my mind, focus and maybe meditate but had a Pulp song stuck in my head!
I tried. It's a start at least. I worry that I will never be able to connect to the universe and that Loki had no interest in me. But he is patient. I have to hope and try.
I also found a cabinet on fb that I think would work well as an alter (mine was set up on a chair but is now messy af). It costs £25 and comes with a shelf I don't want but is interesting enough that I want to buy it. The bloke says I can pick it up tomorrow but I don't have a car. I could ask my Dad but that would be awkward. I'll figure that out tomorrow. Right now I need to go to bed, I've got less than 8 hours until I have to be in work! Any advice on how to reconnect with Loki, his family and the universe would be hugely welcome!

You’re My Best Friend ~ Roger Taylor x OC 1

Chapter 1
September 1967 Barbara's P.O.V
I stepped off of the carriage, feeling an extreme wave of tiredness flow over me. The journey had felt as though it had lasted forever, I hadn't travelled this far in my life so far and it was unspeakably boring alone. I couldn't help but think that if me and Roger hadn't had that argument and were still friends, that I wouldn't have been on my own while travelling to London, the journey would've been at least more bearable, definitely filled with laughs and amusement.
My backpack dug into my shoulder as I moved forward, dragging my suitcase with me. London was already so different, it was most definitely an unfamiliar surrounding and not like the quietness and serenity that I was so used to in Truro.
Throughout the last part of my journey to Ealing Art College, my face was frowning as I thought about how this had been both me and Roger's dream, our dream, and now it was just my own. I missed him more than anything and hadn't stopped thinking about what I had said to him that day, a year or so ago now. He was my best friend and I had completely and utterly fucked it up. It seemed as though he had forgotten me, left me behind. The last I heard of Roger was that apparently he was still with 'The Reaction', still relatively popular and surrounded by girls who were completely and utterly in awe of him.
I couldn't not be happy for him, doing music is what he was meant to do and that was one of the last things that I had told him, I still go by my word, I just wished that I had been by his side as he lived his dream.
I had reached Ealing art college in short time. The building was beautiful, everything that I had ever dreamed of. It was quite a large site and there were already people making their way to sign in although nothing officially started until next week Monday. A middle aged woman had been the one to cross off my name and direct me to the apartment that I had paid for to stay in with a roommate who I had just found out was a woman named Stella. The walk was nothing, the apartment was just a few minutes away, it was quite pretty outside, not what I was expecting at all. The exterior was painted a pastel blue which was very faded with a few empty plant boxes in front of the only window.
I came to the conclusion that I had made the right decision to stay off site since I'd definitely have more freedom, depending on Stella, my supposed roommate. I had worked so hard during the summer in order to pay my half of this apartment, my parents, especially my father, were furious with me. I had been given the cold shoulder from the both of them, they refused to help with any money related issues such as my ticket to travel to London and the apartment, I had arranged it all by myself.
The interior of the apartment was very basic, included everything I needed in order to live, it just didn't really look appealing to me, nothing I wouldn't be able to fix though. One bathroom without a bath, two tiny bedrooms, a very small kitchen attached to the living room and a balcony, it was enough.
Unpacking hadn't taken that long and when I was done I had jumped straight onto the squeaky sofa, laying back as I closed my eyes, feeling extremely tired after such a long afternoon.
I heard the door unlock, my eyes shot straight open, thinking that someone was trying to break in, and then suddenly realising that I was sharing this apartment with someone else, must be Stella.
A girl peaked into the living room, blonde, blue eyes. She suddenly smiled when she saw me lounging on the sofa, "Hi, I'm Stella!"
I sat up, smiling back at her, "Hiya, I'm Ba-,"
"Barbara, yes I know! Lady at the desk told me," she interrupted, giggling a little, "Nice to meet you, I see you've already made yourself comfortable."
"You too!" I reply, letting out a laugh at her remark. She seemed to be really nice, already very easy to talk to, not awkward at all, I liked her. I was very skeptical about sharing a place with someone else who I had never met before, I was definitely not expecting someone as nice as her.
"I'm going to have a look around," she tells me.
I relaxed myself again, leaning further back and closing my eyes.
"We will probably be fighting over the shower a lot!" I hear her call, "Only one bathroom!"
"I know! I'll try not to hog it!" I call back.
For the rest of the afternoon and evening me and Stella got to know each other, the conversation flowed very easily and we found ourselves laughing about the shitty springs in our beds. I had also found out that she was interested in fashion and was studying textiles at college, she was also a year older than me and that her parents had practically kicked her out.
"Where have you come from then?" She asks, lifting her cigarette up to her lips, breathing in before tapping the ashes away out of the window.
"Truro."
"Truro?"
"A little town in cornwall."
"Ah, cornwall! I've heard that it's beautiful there," she replies, "why in the hell would you come here?"
I let out a long sigh, smiling a little, "I don't really know anymore, just been my dream to come and study here, I'll miss cornwall very much," I tell her, only thinking of Roger as these words left my lips, he was the one that I'd miss.
Monday had soon come and I had woken up very early, as did Stella since she also had a lesson to go to in a few hours. We walked together down the street towards the college site, there were many others doing the same, presumably new and old students all together. Me and Stella along with the rest of the new students were given a tour around the building and had also been directed towards the rooms that we had been allocated.
The inside of the college was just as nice as the outside, there were artworks hung up that previous students had created as their final pieces. Stella looked just as excited as me, we exchanged impressed looks all the way through the little tour.
"Meet me here after you've finished!" She says as she points at her Textiles room, flashing me a big smile as she waves and disappears into the room.
I made my way to the Graphic design room, followed the directions that I had been given, missing a few turns and retracing my steps until I had finally found the correct room.
There were already people in the room, some still working, others, probably the new students were sat down around the tables in the middle of the room. Some of the new students were already talking to each other, others were sat in silence and I sat down at an empty table, waiting for the tutor to arrive.
He came rushing into the room around ten minutes after I had arrived, "Sorry I'm late everybody."
Mr Wright had introduced himself and had also told us the ins and outs of the course, what we were to do, handing out sketchbooks and directing us to other rooms which we had access to. He also got to know us a little, asking us for our names followed by telling us to get on with what it was we were planning to do.
It was very ambiguous and I had no idea what I was doing, some others didn't either, others got to working immediately. I stood myself up, looking around at all the equipment and materials we had been given, where everything was.
I was lingering around the materials, not knowing what to take and also just not knowing what I was doing in general, I didn't know where to start. A boy had suddenly stood next to me, grabbing a few pencils and halted when he saw me just stood still, dumbfounded.
"Would you like any help?" I hear him ask, feeling his eyes watching me as I continued to stare down at the cupboard in front of me.
"I er- sure, I have no idea what I'm doing," I reply, averting my eyes to him. Immediately my mind was taken aback by how attractive he was, very dark brown- almost black hair, brown eyes, a very structured face and very prominent cheekbones.
He smiled a little crooked smile, "I'm Freddie Bulsara, I love your earrings," he introduces himself, still smiling as he studies my face.
I feel heat rush up to my cheeks feeling a little weak to the knees, I manage to mutter a 'thanks'. I felt so stupid since I didn't particularly want to find anyone attractive at all, I wanted to focus on my design, only due to my poor taste in the opposite sex, after Steve Harrington I had no confidence in pursuing a relationship with anybody as of right now. I shook the feeling off as I pulled myself together, but probably coming across as being one of the most peculiar creatures.
"Are you more the illustrative type?" He asks, a hint of a smirk showing on his lips, his front teeth showing slightly. He was even more attractive in an odd sort of way.
"Yeah."
"Like me! Follow me, take some pencils, we're going to the practical room."
I followed him towards the room, one that the Graphics students had access to. Only one other person was in the room working, very concentrated and hadn't even noticed that anyone had come in. Me and Freddie sat at the other side of the room, he had given me a few ideas on what to do to start off with and gave me some advice about what he had done when he first started here. I got stuck in drawing a few figures, picturing something in my head and drawing it through lines, it seemed like a good start.
After a lesson of being surprisingly productive, me and Freddie had engaged in lots of conversation, he came across as being a very kind and thoughtful person. I was quite drawn to him and his exotic look, he was very different to any other male I'd seen in his style, he was also very hilarious in his manner and his jokes.
I was so caught up in laughing at almost everything that he was saying that I hadn't noticed that Stella was waiting for me outside. It took a fake cough for me and Freddie to notice her presence, she was watching us with a little smirk, "Come on Barbara, I've been waiting for almost fifteen minutes!"
"I better go, I'll see you tomorrow?" I shift my head towards Freddie again, hoping that I will get see him, I already felt comfortable around him, he was so kind, genuine and friendly, I was very sure that we'd be good friends.
He smiled a little, "Of course you will."
As me and Stella walked along the street, she wouldn't shut up about Freddie, giggling and teasing me, "He seemed to really like you."
I shrugged in response, "Really?" trying to sound unbothered by her statement.
"Hell yes. He was quite attractive Barbara, very exotic, I'd go there." She teased, pinching my arm as she giggled.
I laughed loudly as we continued to skip down the street, large grins on our faces. I couldn't believe how close me and Stella were after only a few days of knowing each other, similarly with Freddie. I hadn't been this amused or entertained by anything since Roger had been around. I was beginning to think that maybe this was my way of moving on from my ex best friend, maybe Stella and Freddie were to mean as much to me as Roger once did, maybe I'd stop thinking about him as much, forget him like he had seemed to forget me.
Maybe things were going to begin looking up for me.
