Overall past that, I think she’ll be indifferent and impassive, maybe a bit sarcastic, for a long while if they meet more than one time. But she’ll appreciate his quiet nature once realizing he’s kind of a mute and silent communication works for her most of the time. Marlene stopped being a talkative and social person from her recent traumas, but she’s still expressive and openly voices her opinions, uncaring if she comes across blunt or not. She’s emotionally constipated.

After proceeding to subdue him during a fight and knocking him down near an edge of a building, but tied his ankle with a wire so Vincent doesn’t fall down to his death.

“Hang in there, maybe you’ll get a chance to take me down next time. You’re good, really, but something’s holding you back.” She tapped his boot before walking off. “Maybe don’t hold back next time. I’d prefer when you’re not.” Yeah, Marlene’s humour is a bit broken and likes to poke at others for their reaction sometimes. 🥲

And she unintentionally tends to gives out mixed signals too.

Overall, Vasili might find it hard to go through Marlene's feelings, since she had emotionally blocked herself from everyone, but at the same time, Marlene noticed Vasili too who can't just speak about anything either, nor the things he has in his mind, because of the mental impact of the brainwashing that affected his urge to speak. Complicated situation, eh?

Oh god, the way Vasili's heart would have almost stopped beating if it weren't for Marlene's immediate action to tie his ankle down. For some reason, he appreciates the woman's courage and strength, along with the way she deals with anybody that comes through her way and gets the job done, like how she dealt with Bell. I am pretty sure he'll have a hard time understanding Marlene's humour but let it go, somehow. As long as they grow close, maybe he will! 🤣

Talking about how my OCs would feel about Makari if they found out he was a part of the Konni group, they'd have pretty.. conflicting thoughts.

The Captain would definitely have the MOST suspicions over Makari. Though the man appears to be "harmless" as I think about it, he might have a hard time dealing with him because he's associated with Makarov. You know at some point, it reaches "ignorance but acknowledgement" at the same time? That's Arjun towards Makari.

And Scarlet.. well, she'd be disappointed. Knowing Makari secretly held connections with the Konni, she might be more careful towards him, but I'm not really sure if Makari really wants to cause any harm to others? Despite having his association with the Konni, it's not pretty much clarified. Overall, Scarlet wouldn't be happy to know that.

Heyo, lovely! I’m bored, waiting during an examination, i was wondering on how Vasily and Marlene would interact. She somehow got time travelled to the early 80s, it’ll be explained in the story soon, and just surviving. So I think these two would meet during a chase. So heads up, Marlene’s first instinct is to protect herself, so it’ll likely end up in a fight during a pursuing since he’s associated with Adler. I just love your Bell OC, Vasily. 🥹 🫶

Knowing Marlene, she absolutely matches somewhere around Bell's personality as well! If you think about it, she's reserved, intelligent, and knows what should be done, in the same way Vasili is. Of course, looking at the two, they're going to end up in a fight, and Bell on the other hand would find a way to defend himself.

The man may fight physically but not verbally, which can cause a little difficulty to make the woman understand that he had nothing against her. I can see him going into entirely defensive mode since he doesn't want to injure Marlene back, but at some point Vasili would stop her and try to convince he's not an enemy. And I feel Marlene herself would start to understand as well.

About their interaction once they calm down, Marlene might notice one quality of Vasili — he doesn't talk. Which kind of baffles her if he's mute, but it's a way different story. Communication is what makes the person know what the other feels, but it'll be hard for her to understand Vasili's thoughts because he cannot seem to grow the urge to speak, because of the brainwashing done by the MACV-SOG, that mentally blocked him. I wondered in what ways, Marlene might help Vasili break through his silence and get to know about everything she's unaware of?

Hey! This is building off the last thing I asked about Annika and Vasili meeting for the first time.

Annika, following the brainwashing, would constantly speak and over explain every single detail, as she was mentally blocked from talking too much. She might repeat the same story multiple times without even noticing, or completely switch the topic in the middle. Like Annika would be talking about how an engine works for the fourth time, freeze for like two minutes, then start talking about whatever she saw on TV that day.

Whenever Annika decides she wants to verbally torture Vasili with one of her yapping sessions, how would he feel?

Well, as you said, Annika was mentally blocked but it's because of the brainwashing that was messing with her memory constantly. Each and every time a new thought pops out of nowhere which explains her mind wasn't in the right track and it was getting shuffled randomly.

Vasili on the other hand, couldn't remember anything. That gives him an inability to even think of something new, or imaginative in the sense like Annika's thoughts. They seem like polar opposites, where Vasili can't even think of anything random but meanwhile Annika can make herself talk continuously without a break. As I said before, Vasili wouldn't feel bothered.. but, if he feels he needs some peace and quiet, he'd rather walk away annoyed from the table and go outside for some fresh air, or pay attention to some other work. And Annika might feel that was enough of her monologue for today!

Though, it's also a matter of concern for the agent. Clarifying, it could be a sign of forgetfulness, which makes Vasili want to monitor the young woman at all costs. Yes, she sure gets on his nerves, but secretly, Annika got him back.

Hello, my lovely Vasya, thanks for the ask! (o^▽^o)

Bell was considered "gifted", more like blessed because he was born intelligent from a young age, which also gave him the route to join the intelligence.

His silence has an interesting reason. Being canon-compliant, Bell originally doesn't have a voice, nor a face. Typically saying, it has NO identity. Vasili's inability to speak also comes in this category that the brainwashing sure retained the special skills and abilities he had, but couldn't recover something which used to REPRESENT him. It all seemed to be concealed and hidden somewhere post-brainwashing and it was the only thing that kept Vasili curious all the time.

Vasili's theme "Ostrov Nevezeniya" means "Island of Bad Luck". Through the lyrics, it can be signified what Vasili's plans had been all along during his time with the KGB and Perseus, to bring his opponents in an awful time where it'll take them a long time to recover (like stealing information, destroying any assets they have, assassinating an enemy of the USSR) by leaving no trace, or the significance of his presence.. which often tells the agencies keep on having a bad luck, because of him. The song has a groovy track, matching Vasili's likely joy and happiness in seeing them be unsuccessful.

Some of the implanted memories include Vasili's moments in the KGB, which were ridiculously altered by Adler's intentions to make him go against the agency he proudly served in. In the KGB, Dimitri Belikov was his old friend, and Anton Charkov was his superior and the one who requested him to retire and stay undercover because of the growing threat of him getting killed by the foreign agencies.

Assuming Vasili's rank in the KGB, he was also a Major, alongside Dimitri, who later on sought to work for Perseus before the Trabzon Airport incident.
