what i think each MHA 1A student would do in a quirkless society

midoriya: nurse. oh my god i saw a fanart of nurse deku forever ago and it was fine asf. but anyways. i think he would still have the desire to help people and save them, but not wanna go running head first into buildings. so, he decides to use his head and hands instead. i could also see emt since it’s still a little dangerous for his adrenaline junkie ass without almost burning alive.

bakugo: i can’t explain why but quirkless AU bakugo to me is always a firefighter 🤷. i think he is a junkie when it comes to danger and saving people is just engrained in him so, even without a quirk, he would still wanna do something whether military or police service.

todoroki: i’m gonna say family business. but he runs it the exact opposite of his old man just to piss him off.

kirishima: public service of some kind. i’m stuck between police officer or a firefighter cuz i could see both. on one hand, i could see him running head fire into fires with bakugo being each others partners and saving each other left and right since he’s the only one that can put up with him. but i can also see him as the police officer of an area. like the one that everyone loves and treats with respect. so much so that even the gangsters and drug dealers are like “hey sir, how’s your day been” because kiri wasn’t disrespect even when arresting them.

denki: i'm gonna say electronical engineer. he might act stupid but he managed to pass the UA written exam just like the other members of UA so clearly there is a brain up there. Having said that, electronics were something he always thought were cool and he started messing around with them as a kid and it stuck.

sero: i feel like he would LEGALLY sell marijuana. like he would have a license to and would sell edible snacks as well as marijuana straight. he just gives me hippie-ish "the world is less shitty when your high" vibes so he sells good quality weed so people get blissed.

iida: i think his family business would be something tech based instead of heroing. i still think they would make bank from it tho. and the family business would make him feel obligated to follow it.

aoyama: model. enough said.

uraraka: probably join the family construction company “temporarily” but then always come up with an excuse to why she needs to stay. “well, __ is gonna be on a 1 week vacation so, i’ll put in my notice after they’re back” “well, now it’s close to *insert holiday* so i better stay and help get the projects done faster” and on and on.

momo: design. whether fashion, interior design, architecture. something with design tho. she likes being able to create things from scratch. enjoys watching what she can turn things into.

jirou: musician. specifically vocalist and guitarist for a indie rock / alternative rock band.

ojiro: i feel like he would totally have a therapy office where you talk about your feelings while doing yoga 😂. his reason is it helps align your body and your mind.

tsu: i feel like she would be one of those people that study plants and creatures in their native habitats. but she would exclusively work with ponds, rivers and streams and has a deep love and interest/fascination with frogs.

mina: model. i think she would start as a model for a fitness brand and would gradually move over to being a diverse model as her career grows.

hagakure: kindergarden teacher for some reason. i can't explain why. it just seems right in my brain.

satou: baker. like come on.

tokoyami: musician. specifically guitarist for a rock / metal band. it just… fits.

koda: something to do with animals. whether that’s working at a zoo or traveling the world studying animals.

shouji: cop. he's really good at spacial awareness and protecting his partners. plus he has really fast reflexes.

mineta: he died <3

Okay, okay, okay. Okay. Because this is literally just the concept of "Class Antics". Just more interactions between everyone, more so with friendships we don't get much of.

Kirishima & Uraraka - they would definitely hype each other up during workouts and training (written about this one)

Just more of the Band A

Iida & Sero - Iida needs orange juice, Sero likes oranges, these two would probably discussing their diets

Ojiro, Midoriya & Kaminari - alright, apparently Ojiro and Midoriya have the same sense of style, but have you seen the shirts Kaminari wears? They would go back and forth on the topic of shirts... over yoga, I feel like these three would bond while doing yoga

Koda & Asui & Shinso - they would go on walks around Yuuei to find any animal there is, sometimes they'll do it on bikes

Sato & Todoroki & Bakugou - I feel like Sato would introduce Todoroki to desserts and other foods he hasn't had before, even teaches him to make easy snacks, Bakugou joins in wanting to introduce Todoroki to spicy foods but Sato also tries in turn to convince Bakugou to eat less spicy foods

Yaoyorozu & Aoyama & Hagakure - these three would probably talk about fashion, shows they watch, all that over tea and with face masks on

Ashido & Tokoyami & Shoji & Uraraka- yeah, I'm bringing Uraraka back here because space & astrology, I think Tokoyami and Uraraka would bond over astrology and Ashido and Shoji would join in because hey, turns out Shoji may not look it but he's into exploring new things and Ashido happens to like space, cue in sci-fi movie marathons

Ojiro & Shoji - yep, another repeat, these two would bond over their quirks and how they picked up on sewing to adjust to them and it turns out Shoji is really good at making shawls

Orange Guitar

Many students in Midoriya’s class took an interest in music. Jiro knew how to play more than one instrument, not including her singing. Bakugo played the drums. Kaminari and Tokoyami played guitar. Momo was familiar with the keyboard. Midoriya found it awesome so many people had a little hobby on the side.

Midoriya had a point in his life where he had an endless list of hobbies. When he was at his lowest in middle school, he filled the void with countless activities. Midoriya did martial arts, wrote his own stories (mainly All Might fanfiction), hero analysis (quirk analysis), skateboarding, ice shaking, ran a hero blog, at-home yoga, and the list continued. Inko watched her son purse many different activities fondly, letting him figure out what he wanted to do with his life.

Even though Midoriya was seen as weak and pathetic, he was incredible at everything he did. Midoriya won ice skating competitions. Midoriya learned difficult skateboarding tricks. His hero blog blew up and was extremely popular. His hero analysis spanned over 13 books. Midoriya trained his body to handle more complex and taunting positions and poses in his yoga programs. Midoriya bumped up levels steadily in his martial art classes. Midoriya’s writing because popular as well, often being seen on accounts that recommended fan fiction.

Midoriya put one hundred and ten percent into everything he did. He wanted to prove to himself he wasn’t worthless. He wanted to prove that he was just as capable as anyone else to do any basic hobby. While being physical was always a good way for him to produce endorphins and boost his mood, Midoriya found one specific hobby capturing his attention the most.

Guitar.

There was something so exhilarating about it all. The freedom to play anything and everything. The sensation of memorizing which hand positions made which chords. The callous that grew on his fingers from constant playing. It was addictive. Midoriya would often head to a studio to mess around and get most of his practice in. Living in an apartment with thin walls meant playing instruments was forbidden.

Midoriya learned most things on his own and gained enough revenue from his competition winnings to buy his own guitar. It was a sexy instrument. As much as Midoriya hated to admit it, everything about the guitar reminded him of Bakugo. He remained in denial even as he paid for it in cash. Despite the sight of the guitar, Midoriya was in love with it for many other reasons.

Now with Midoriya being in U.A. and having all his time dedicated to hero work, he dropped almost all of his hobbies. He applied his ice skating training to his hero training, but didn’t skate and didn’t complete. Midoriya didn’t keep up with martial arts, focusing more on gymnastic-type moves in his fighting style. Midoriya stopped writing fan fiction, focusing mainly on his hero analysis. Midoriya stopped skateboarding, replacing that time with running and extra training.

Whenever class 1-A split up into the two groups for the school festival, Midoriya was dying to reveal he played guitar. Besides, he wasn’t coordinated when it came to dancing. It feel awkward to him unlike how he felt with executing fighting moves. Despite his desire to be a part of the band, he was thrown into the larger crowd of dancers. Thankfully, he was able to learn a dance routine very well because of his experience as an ice skater. It was still two completely different things, but using prior knowledge never failed to give him a push.

Time flew by and the war was over, the world was healing, and life somewhat went back to normal. Midoriya finally had the biggest weight fall off his shoulders and he could think about the little things again. They were in their second year with new dorm building and new room arrangements. It was no surprise Midoriya was on the same floor as Todoroki and Katsuki. He wasn’t complaining, he didn’t have to worry about Aoyama’s stalking or Mineta’s advances.

Midoriya also changed a lot because of the war. His room still had the big All Might poster from Sir Nighteye and couple figures, but almost everything else was packed away. He’d have a room dedicated to merchandise whenever he buys a house or rents and apartment, but keeping it in a safe place was the best for him.

One thing he did bring to the dorms from his room back at his mom’s apartment was his guitar. He did want to pick it back up. He had found himself longing for the callouses on his fingers to be caused by excessive guitar playing. The only awkward thing is he would probably disturb the people sleeping above him, below him, and beside him.

Midoriya looked at his guitar at a loss on how to play it in the dorm. He wasn’t about to rent out a studio so he could play it. Suddenly he realized he could just use headphones and felt like slapping himself in the face. Grabbing his amp and connecting it to his guitar, Midoriya then took his headphones and connected them to the amp. He could practice in peace.

As time passed, Midoriya found he finally felt more connected to his hobby. He purchased a customized Eraserhead guitar strap. Midoriya also had a Dynamite sticker, a Shoto sticker and an All Might sticker. Accessorizing is always fun. Finally the guitar was spunked-up a bit.

It was the weekend, more specifically the one day a week they got off at U.A. High. No one had any plans and it was supposed to be a relaxing day. Midoriya looked at his guitar and knew he was going to perfect the one cover he was working on. Midoriya moved out onto the small balcony they had with his guitar. The sun was warm and the breeze was chilling.

Midoriya had his amp on the lowest setting. Loud enough for him to hear, but still quiet enough to not disturb anyone. It was a different experience to not have his playing blast out his ear drums. Midoriya took a deep breath and started playing, enjoying himself.

The song she chose to play was fairly popular, but not in Japan. He heard the tune on social media. He followed a lot of heroes outside of Japan, since he was a fanboy. It was an edit of an American hero. The beautiful melody captured Midoriya’s attention. The song was Midoriya’s new obsession. It didn’t take long for him to master the song so he could play it without even looking at his finger placement.

Midoriya was able to play the bass part on his phone so he’d have the complete sound. He was no singer and he was far from good at English, but he could hum to his heart’s content. He swayed, letting the cords vibrate in his chest.

Todoroki and Bakugo were planning on doing some studying since exams were coming up. They decided inviting Midoriya would make sense as he was incredibly smart. They all had their own weak points and strong points. One persons strength could make up for the others weakness. They all equaled each other out.

They were used to walking right into his room unannounced so when Todoroki opened the door the two stilled at the sound of music. They made their way into the room and saw Midoriya out of his balcony with the guitar. He was humming, gently dancing to the music with closed eyes. He was clearly lost in the music, by the way he was acting.

Suddenly he stopped humming and started playing the best part of the song. His head bounced as he played, a joyful smile on his lips as he played. Midoriya mindlessly bounced to the beat with closed eyes. The sun glowed against his skin, mesmerizing, Bakugo and Todoroki.

The two had seen everything that Midoriya had gone through. Watching him dance and play the guitar with a real smile made their hearts pound in their chests.

Bakugo and Todoroki were knocked out of their daze with a shout. Midoriya had turned around and spotted the two, eyes wide. Initially his eyes had been filled with fear, but settled into relief. Danger sense hadn’t gone off so he didn’t expect anyone to magically be in the room.

“Kacchan. Shoto. Did I disturb you?” questioned Midoriya, worried he had been too loud.

Todoroki shook his head, still speechless. Bakugo was able to get over his shock and approached Midoriya. “Hell no. Where did you learn to play?”

Midoriya smiled, setting his guitar down and turning off the amp. “I mean I could play since I was in middle school, but I didn’t start playing seriously until lately.”

“Well you’re really good. You should’ve played for the school festival,” complimented Todoroki, sitting down on Midoriya’s bed.

Midoriya blushed, putting his equipment away. “Thank you. I’m still a bit rusty, but I hope to improve.”

Bakugo nodded, crossing his arms with an evil smirk. “Good, because I wanna see if you can keep up with my drumming.”

“Really!” gasped Midoriya, his jaw falling with excited eyes.

Todoroki stepped in before Bakugo barked out some nonsensical nonsense. “I’d like to listen to you play a lot more.”

Midoriya crashed onto the bed beside Todoroki, turning his head to his best friend. “Feel free to just come in and listen. I usually have my headphones on, but I can start playing out loud if you like it enough.”

Todoroki nodded, closing his eyes as he felt comfortable enough to nap. Midoriya smiled at the quiet confirmation and turned to Bakugo. “Kacchan, what did you need?”

“Studying,” stated Bakugo shortly, crushing Midoriya with his weight.

Midoriya sighed happily, snuggling into his side. “Okay. Exams are coming up pretty soon.”

The three all remained cuddled together, now enjoying the breeze coming in from Midoriya’s balcony. It was in moments like these that solidified the trio’s bond. They had already been inseparable, but in moments like these, nothing could break the unconditional love they had for one another.

aoyama : . . . they bendy. idk what to tell you. i’m forever struck by that scene ( as you know ) of their keeling over backwards during the licensing exam. anyway, i’m thinking about their mobility —- & their having passed the entrance exam to u.a. at all. they were pretty confident at that specific exam, but based on the sports tournament arc . . . endurance isn’t their forte. i believe their experience is determined by extracurriculars determined by their parents, but. . . . the way aoyama’s parents talked ? it sounded like aoyama was the one making the decision. they had him do yoga for kids & kids’ gymnastics things when they were little — aoyama thought it was an opportunity to alleviate their anxiety & make some friends & grow stronger. this continued for a little while even after they made the move to japan. when they were a little older, their parents think aloud to aoyama that they should try aikido — to learn to control themselves a little better & flow & . . . make friends?

aoyama liked gymnastics well enough. . . but only because they did it when they were young. they weren’t phenomenal or anything (they needed a sense of rhythm to be phenomenal . . . which they lack), but they liked it. aoyama likes yoga, but it’s never been a regular practice —- they usually just remember to try it when they’re anxious, but they prefer to do yoga classes. they like the community of the classes. aikido is nice, & they like it . . . aoyama is competent, but they’re not an artist of the field. there’s too much tradition & calm needed to make an art of aikido, & that isn’t aoyama.

but also they spent a lot of time practicing a death drop siudfhgsdg

iida : is not bendy sduhifgsdf his calves are always tight; his hamstrings are always tight. he’s religious about fitting in a cool down after a work out, but that doesn’t mean he always tackles the cooldown movements that he actually needs to do. so . . . sometimes ( beginning at the ripe old age of …. 20 ? ? ? ) he grunts when he stands or bends. his back is fine; it’s just . . . well. his hips & quads are laughing a little at him. in his ideal world, those around him will ignore the sounds of protest he makes to his lower body’s tightness. very rarely is this actually the case.

iida is subject to dad jokes early. he regrets the fact but doesn’t resent it.

but . . . iida isn’t a particularly shameful person. it’s rare that he apologizes for himself ( there’s a lot in between that he apologizes for ) but . . . not for himself. & with this, iida is not at all abashed when he makes eye contact with whomever when he squeezes in an extra 10 minutes of mobility.

. . . nope. not awkward at all.

mitsuki : has had problems sleeping since she was seventeen. she ruminates before sleep or gets restless before sleep. it’s part of the reason she started claiming the nighttime for herself —- she takes the silence as an opportunity to work by lamplight, to watch television, to have a final glass of wine, to prepare lunches ahead of time. it’s part of the reason she started to prefer sleeping in an extra hour after masaru wakes up in the morning —- & after katsuki wakes up. she misses most of her son’s mornings, but . . .

she’s there for the nights. sometimes it’s coincidental, when he decides he can’t sleep & winds up in her office, bundled beneath blankets & staring at nothing until he starts to drift off. sometimes, it’s coincidental, when he’s sick & mitsuki sits next to him on the couch to keep him company. other times, there’s nothing coincidental about it. katsuki gives her increasing reasons to worry, & he gives himself increasing reasons for sleepless. when she started realizing he would decide to opt for isolation as a way of managing himself . . . she was struck by a moment of powerlessness. when she’s particularly stressed for katsuki, she’ll station herself where she can see the closed door of katsuki’s room. it doesn’t matter if she’s sitting on the floor in pajama shorts & a blanket & magazine, she’s there. she feels like she’s doing something, like she’s on guard ( though she’s not well equipped for the kind of guard duty katsuki might need against the external world ).

katsuki has caught her a couple times. she usually points to her & mitsuki’s room with a finger pressed against her lips ( ‘your father is asleep’). other times, she’ll point her finger to an electrical that conveniences her. other times still, katsuki & she pretend not to acknowledge one another.

other times . . . he might appreciate it, if he knew why she was there.

used to have braces -- those perfect teeth of theirs aren't hereditary, but they take good care of em!!

toru was sad she never got anyone to do staring contests with her, so he suggested she put mina's falsies on and neither of them could stop laughing at how she looked that they forgot what they were doing in the first place

speaking of, i love @error-thisblogisdead ‘s fanart of podcast!sero and they 1000% have a joint podcast with todoroki that features other kids from class 1a & sometimes 1b. he tries to encourage everyone to be featured on the pod for their Very Own Episode at least once (if they feel comfortable) & it usually revolves around a certain topic they’ve picked

i mentioned it before, but hanta loves true crime. hanta, shoto, momo, and mezo like to watch crime documentaries together, but it usually takes a while because they keep pausing the video to theorize and yell at each other

loves dungeons & dragons & is more than happy to DM for friends if anyone’s interested

eventually, after being pestered by izuku enough, hanta DMs a test oneshot for a few people who end up begging him to run a campaign. these people were izuku (naturally), eijirou, ochako, tsu, yuga, and katsuki (who is actually really good at RP once he loosens up). they’re still working on a schedule, but it’s always on hanta’s floor & it’s very loud. toru, kyoka, and momo like to sit in but don’t play.

everyone else is invited to watch if they want except for: shoto (tsu jokingly asked him to cast “fireball” & sho’s a shithead that almost did it), denki (wants to read the PHB/module books & wont give them up if someone needs it), tenya (backseat driver even tho the man knows Nothing abt d&d), hitoshi (also kinda a backseat driver but more of an enabler toward the party “huh, aoyama could totally use disguise self and p--” “SHUT IT, MINDFREAK”)

likes to try weird foods! so far the weirdest has been “live” tentacles, but he almost choked to death and hasn’t tried since lol

likes going shopping with tsu, mezo, and mashirao bc they’re the “clothes don’t fuckin fit me” squad. tsu can usually find things for herself pretty quick, but is generally just a good vibe to have around

ALWAYS wears fun socks. everyone wants to see which pair they’ve got on that day

did a bit of ballet as a kid, but was mainly into gymnastics!!! his mom got him into it because of the yoga classes she’d bring him to while she taught and he just wanted to see how far he could keep stretching after that!

i also really like the idea of hanta being an aerialist!! that tape technique 👀

i’m pretty sure i saw someone headcanon that he can play the cello, which i absolutely agree with

I like the idea that because Shouto is lacking hobbies and interests due to spending his entire childhood training his quirk, he's made a big list of different things to try out. One day it'll be cooking, the next is pottery and gardening, then binge-watching a bunch of shows from different genres, then puzzles, ice-skating, yoga, photography, writing poetry, reading books, stargazing, making puppets, etc.

I see your point and I raise you: he's class A's favourite person because he will tag along to any activity / hobby to try it out for himself. Kaminari goes skateboarding? Shouto will borrow one of his extra boards and kill it at all the acrobatics (cause he's used to surfing ice). Mina watches a new romance reality show? Shouto will bring popcorn and place bets on the winner. Aoyama is holding a spa day? Shouto will volunteer to try on all the fancy face masks, and will apply nail polish to his friends' hands with the seriousness and gravity of someone performing surgery, understanding this to be an important bonding activity. Attempting to play an instrument with Jirou ended up badly, but he's determined to get the cooking basics from Satou cause he still wants to try the homemade soba workshop he didn't get to do at the culture festival

Random things MHA boys do

- Denki would randomly go to the gas station and buy just the whole sweets ale. you spend the rest of the night eating/ on a sugar rush

- Kirishima will call you at weird times and when you pick up goes “ha! I told ya Bakugo, they’d pick up!” And then just proceed to compliment you for a minute and end the call

- Kouda will pull you to the side and ask if he’s the only one who’s uncomfortable right now, you’ll have to comfort him real quick

- Deku fiddles with his hands a lot. you just can’t hold hands cause he’s to busy messing with them. tho he WILL let you kiss his scarred ass hand :]

- Bakugo would walk past you and just. shock ya a bit. has accidentally left burns way to many times like dude stop

- Todoroki likes to randomly hug you. you’ve told him that you wanna give him affection any and every time he wants it since he’s so damn touch starved, but he’s a little more touch starved then you thought

- Sero will go up to you and just. talk to you in Spanish. if you know Spanish then you just talk like normal but if you don’t then you just sit there and when he’s done go “nice talk” kiss his cheek and go to bed questioning what the hell this man just told you

- Shouji will scope you up and twirl you around whenever he has the smallest sense that your sad. I’m still not over him holding Tsuyu okay

- Satou will come into your room an hour or so after telling you he was gonna bake something. he tells ya he has a burn and you tell him to run it under cold water, he says he wants you to kiss it. he then discovers that heat on a burn hurts a lot

- Tokoyami will just strat talking to dark shadow. just randomly, he could be in the middle of a conversation or in class and they’ll start chatting about how Hawks is probably going to be #1 hero soon enough

- Aoyama will go around with little containers filled with glitter that he throws at people

- Ojiro will just stay doing yoga in the middle of the common room. he’ll set up a mat and everything and just sit their while everyone else is freaking out over the news like normal

- Iida loves to pat your head. your hair is soft and smells nice it’s instinct at this point, whenever he walks past ya

My hero academia: Class 1-A and Quirk issues

Let me start off by saying that I love when people try to figure out the effects superpower would have on the human body. It's so easy to get caught up in the "Wow! That would be so cool to have!' It's super easy to forget that the human body is actually very squishy and breakable. So while the people in the mha world have probably evolved to the point that their bodies would be fit for their quirks, let's pretend that they didn't.

Class 1-A

Izuku has chronic pain from when he first got his quirk. He tries to hid it but it flares up at odd times. Chronic pain: Mood problems, sharp pains, numbness, and fatigue.

Bakugou has hyperhidrosis and while that works in his favor for his quirk, he's constantly worrying about making everything he touches flammable. Hyperhidrosis: Dehydration, skin infections, and trouble regulating body temperature.

Ochako is weird about eating sometimes. Both due to the fact that her parents were poor and she wanted to leave enough food for them and also because of her quirk and the worry that she'll just throw it up later. Eating Disorders: Dehydration, weakness, gastrointestinal problems, and fatigue.

Asui has to make sure she gets enough water or she has problems breathing just like a frog would. She finds it very embarrassing and tries her hardest to stay hydrated. Dehydration: Dry skin, headaches, and sunken eyes.

Shinsou gets migraines due to the focus he has to maintain when using his quirk. He'll claim that it's due to the annoying people around him but they all know he's just talk by now. Migraines: Insomnia, light sensitivity, irritability, and depression.

Kaminari gets Lichtenberg bruises after using his quirk on top of shorting himself out. It hurts like a bitch and tensing up just makes it worse. Electrocution: Twitches, numbness, tingling, and memory loss.

Tokoyami feels like he loses control of Dark Shadow often and tries to make up for it with rigid control in other areas. He knows Dark Shadow doesn't mean to upset him which almost makes it worse. OCD: Hypervigilance, social isolation, repetition, and nightmares.

Iida has pain from his engines occasionally burning him and also from moving so quickly. The human body doesn't handle such stops and start very well. Acceleration stress: Heart problems, trouble breathing, muscle cramps, and broken blood vessels.

Hagakure is often forgotten about or ignored. She knows they don't mean to, however it does wear on her over time. Chronic loneliness: Elevated stress levels, risk of dementia, depression, and suicidal thoughts.

Ojiro has problems with his back due to the weight and movement of his tail. The martial arts and yoga help to a certain degree. Herniated disks: Tingling, numbness, muscle strain, tenderness, and inflammation.

Sato has to make sure to take good care of his teeth due to the high sugar intake he needs. He also has to keep an eye on potential diseases that could arise from such odd eating habits. Poor diet: Inflammation, fatty liver, risk of heart problems, and diabetes.

Aoyama often gets bruises and is tender on his torso after using his quirk. Like Ochako, he also has a hard relationship with food and his quirk as well. Gastrointestinal stress: Nausea, IBS, abdominal pain, and heartburn.

Jirou zones out a lot because she gets into listening to things and sucked into sounds. Usually she doesn't even listen to what people are saying, focusing on cadence and pitches. Acoustic Trauma: Ear ringing, headaches, ear pain, and vertigo.

Kirishima is anemic and has to have red meat a lot. His body burns through iron when he uses his quirk. Anemia: Irritability, heart palpitations, pale skin, and anxiety.

Sero takes calcium and keritan supplements because of the vitamins his body uses to make his tape. His arms gets really dry too so he has to keep lotion on hand. Keritan/Calcium deficiencies: Cramping, muscle spasms, weak nails, and brittle hair.

Mina loses feeling in her fingers and feet after using her acid in fights and often gets blisters. The rest of her body doesn't seem as sensitive to the chemicals. Blisters/burns: Infection, peeling skin, pins and needles, and numbness.

Shouto has a weak immune system because of how often his body rapidly changes temperature. He is also prone to frost bite and what seems almost like a sunburn after long hours working with his quirk. Theromoragulation problems: Inflammation, prone to colds and pneumonia, and nerve damage.

Shoji is at risk of heart problems due to having to get blood to all his extra limbs. He also has problems with balance and posture. Cardiovascular problems: Coldness in limbs, pain in neck and jaw, and chest pressure.

Koda has anxiety and gets nervous around most people. He likes people but they're just too much sometimes. Anxiety: Restlessness, trembling, digestive problems, and mood swings.

Momo has body image issues due to the amount of food she has to eat and the environment she grew up in. She rarely goes long enough between quirk uses to develop a layer of softness but she watches it constantly. Low fat count: Fertility issues, malnutrition, growth problems, and trouble regulating temperature.

Momo and Ochako eating lunch together to encourage each other.

Shouto pressing his cold side against Bakugou to help him cool off when he gets too hot.

Sero using his tape to help Izuku wrap his fingers when they hurt too much.

Shoji using his arms to hold Kaminari close so he doesn't seize too hard and hurt himself.

Koda and Shinsou sitting outside in a quiet, peaceful, and shaded area.

Sato and Kirishima cooking steaks like manly men.

Hagakure and Jirou taking naps together so Jirou can tune out everything except Hagakure and Hagakura gets human contact.

Aoyama and Ojiro going to get massages together and try new yoga classes.

Iida and Tokoyami watching foreign films together and trying to outdo the other on who can learn the language quickest.

Asui and Mina having girls nights where they try hydrating masks and herbal baths to help sooth any inflammation.

I just love the idea of them caring for each other.

unconventional hobbies that class 1-a has

midoriya - calligraphy (but he’s just starting so he’s only ok at it and it calms him down)

todoroki - mini ice sculpting (he likes to make really small sculptures to put in his friends’ drinks) (it makes others happy so it makes him happy too)

bakugou - he likes to put dye on his hands to make colored fireworks (it’s actually canon that bakugou likes to read romance manga so that too)

kirishima - yoga (it helps him stretch because his quirk makes him a lil stiff)

ururaka - pretends she’s a jedi and float stuff pretending she has the power of the force (😆 that’s so cute)

iida - writing in his diary log (it’s a bookend to his day and very relaxing)

yaomomo - making small metal flower crowns (she uses her quirk to make metal wire and folds it to make the crowns) (it’s a nice birthday gift so very handy 😄👍🏾)

jirou - making music from classmate’s sounds (she collects different sounds from everyone in class amd creates a song or two)

hagakure - she likes to try to put makeup on herself or put on nail polish (a fun little challenge)

aoyama - he likes to read wikihows [the little illustrations are cute to him (me too🥰)]

kaminari - give him a carpet and a person and he will have SO much fun with static electricity (usually deku or kirishima is the victim)

sero - i hc him being able to make specialty tapes when he focuses so he makes cute little tape rolls for his classmates and anyone who wants some at UA (maybe extra special for Y/N😉)

mina - she likes to melt things with her quirk (it’s fun and harmless unless yk she uses a person or an animal 😬)

tokoyami - he likes to play w his sword (no! get your mind out of the gutters readers!) he plays swords w dark shadow and they just have a nice time goofing off

sato - ofc he bakes but i feel like he would try to do those mini baking videos you see on insta and he has a following on youtube of about 100k (he’s very proud of this but won’t openly brag bc he’s a sweetheart)

koda - he likes to brush and play with his rabbit (he also puts little ties or hats on them ☺️)

tsu - she likes collecting frog-themed things (she currently has 7 frog bucket hats 😁)

ojiro - since he kinda looks like luke skywalker, he likes to hang out w ururaka and play jedi

shoji - he likes to crochet (and he can do it easily with all his hands to hold things in place)

mineta - [ok ik everyone hates mineta and everything but i like him a lil bit bc he’s comedic relief most times. that still does NOT excuse his actions or gross comments but i do believe he deserves a hc in people’s hc lists of class 1-a characters bc he is in 1-a and even though he’s a creep, he works hard and studies to stay in the class (he got a good score in the final exams u guys)] anyway. he likes to do puzzles or even sometimes make his own and do them together w classmates.

OK you're officially my favorite author. The remedial lessons scene? Beautiful. I can actually see this happening in the canon! The part where Aoyama was whispering names of French cheeses to Izumi got me laughing! And Ibara being mad at Izumi for ditching her yoga session... man, the way you write your characters, you add a whole new dimension to all the characters! It's like it takes Horikoshi's already existing characters, and makes them better (no hate to Horikoshi; his work is amazing)! ♥♡♥

Thank you!! Honestly, those are the things I like focusing on. I can totally see Ibara just standing on Izumi's balcony when they're at the dorms, with a yoga mat, staring at her until she wakes up. I like to think they become friends once they understand each other a bit better and Ibara being totally obsessed with saving Izumi's soul while Izumi's just trying to figure out what the hell she's talking about 😂

☾ - sleep headcanon

Sero Hanta ~

Sero seems like the type to be a night owl, so he usually sleeps later at night (around 3am)

Mainly being lost in thought, inviting his friends in to chat with, being on his phone.

But he seems like he could sleep or nap anywhere. Bed, couch, floor, grass, etc.

He's very laid back so falling asleep isn't a problem with him.

A lot of people headcanon this (I too), he would smoke weed at times of he was having trouble falling asleep. Love the stoner headcanons!!

He's more of the type to sleep on top of his blankets. Doesn't like to feel trapped underneath, but will use it if it gets too cold.

Yuga Aoyama ~

Aoyama seems like the type that has a set bed time as he needs his "beauty sleep"

To help him sleep, he drinks tea to calm himself down or might read a book too. If not, then will go through his social media quick.

Being as his room is so shiny with the lights on, it wouldn't be surprising if he did have one of those cool projector light nightlights to help sleep.

As for sleeping arrangements, he needs to be on a bed. He has to be comfortable while sleeping or napping as he will be in a bad mood. If the couch looks and is comfy, he'll nap there.

He likes being all wrapped up in a blanket when he sleeps. Has to be squishy comforters with the feathers in it or a soft blanket. If its scratchy or doesn't feel right, he'll search for one
