Hello there! My request is how would The Bad Batch react to playing Mario Kart Wii? (I’m currently listening to the soundtrack so that’s where I got the request from.) BYW I love all of your stories :)

It's a Mario Party! [TBB Headcanons]

Warnings and Information: Apologies that a simple headcanon request took a while, dear, but I was under the weather around the time the request came in. All better now at the time of posting, thankfully! (Grateful I got my flu shot when I did!) Mentions of Star Wars and real-world swearing, because Mario Kart brings it out of all of us! Reader is mentioned in each character's headcanon segment, but not specifically gendered. I couldn't resist adding Omega to make sure I got the full rainbow, so consider her a bonus!

HUNTER

Watching vs Playing: Hunter plays more than one might expect given the nature of his enhancements. Mario Kart is a chaotic, colorful cacophony of music, sound effects and bright visuals, and it seems like it would be pretty overwhelming for him. On a really, really bad day, Hunter can't even watch, no matter if the brightness is dimmed and the sound is turned down. It's a lot of sensory input. But on the good days, Hunter enjoys playing against you and his brothers.

Does he take it easy on his brothers: If the five of them are in a good mood, there's going to be playful banter for certain. If Hunter's having a minor disagreement with one of his brothers however, Mario Kart is utilized to either work out most of the frustration, or lighten up the tension enough for another, hopefully slightly calmer approach to smoothing out the disagreement. (Won't work for bigger arguments, however (that's what Super Smash Bros is for).) Hunter's not afraid to do some mild trash-talking and teasing. Curses occasionally, like if someone knocks him off the track, nothing severe though.

Does he take it easy on you: Will he take it easy on you every time, no; but when he will depends! If Hunter notices you're looking a bit glum, he'll let you secure a few wins while keeping the conversation casual throughout. May or may not ask what's on your mind right away, but it'll certainly come up eventually. Whether you're just a friend or a romantic interest/partner, Hunter cares about you as much as he cares about his brothers. If you're in a good mood, he'll probably be a little more playfully competitive with you.

Favorite item: Thunder cloud.

Favorite race track: Yoshi Falls or Moonview Highway.

Bonus: No matter if Hunter wins or loses most of the session, he'll always say it was fun and he enjoyed himself. Truth is he's not a huge fan of the game itself, it's more that he had the opportunity to spend time with his brothers and/or a friend.

TECH

Watching vs Playing: Fifty-fifty split on whether or not Tech with play or watch when everyone's in the mood for a little Mario. When he watches, it's another toss-up on if he's going to be sitting on the couch with his datapad in hand the entire time, or if he's going to be something of a backseat driver. Tech knows the game's race tracks the same way he knows the inner consoles of the Havoc Marauder: inside and out, by heart, and with his eyes closed. It's equally impressive and terrifying. (Much like his flying can be, on occasion.)

Does he take it easy on his brothers: Yes and no. Tech doesn't see the fun in winning every time, and perhaps secretly worries that if he did win every time, his brothers may not want to play against him anymore. So he comes up with some kind of balancing system in how much he helps his brothers and what kind of trash talking he participates in.

"There's a double-stacked item box on the left side of the track, Wrecker." ("Awh, thanks, Tech!")

"You're falling behind, Hunter! Better catch up." ("Tech I'm in third place you little krif-")

There's something strangely amusing about hearing him simply say "Well shit." in a mild voice if he's knocked off the track by a carefully placed banana peel, courtesy of Crosshair, of course.

Does he take it easy on you: Yes and no, while being similar to Hunter. Tech helps you secure a few wins if you're in need of cheering up, and he won't engage in as much trash-talk like he will with his brothers. (However, feel free to lobby all the friendly ribbing you're comfortable with his way, as it'll help him understand what does and doesn't constitute as "too far" when engaging in a friendly feud with you.) When you're up for it, Tech can make the race a real competition.

Favorite item: Red/Green Shells.

Favorite race track: "All of them" is a shorter answer than the analysis of what he likes about each track, trust me on this.

Bonus: Makes it a point to be sincere in his congratulations if one of his brothers and/or a friend bests him in a match. Not because Tech's worried about looking like a sore loser, but because acknowledging the successful efforts of others feels like the polite thing to do.

CROSSHAIR

Watching vs Playing: Not terribly big on playing Mario Kart, but he'll certainly watch. Generally, he'll make some minor commentary now and again, usually at the expense of the poor soul who is furthest behind. When Crosshair plays, he'll get pretty focused on the game, however. Mario Kart might not be among his most favorite games, but he enjoys it.

Does he take it easy on his brothers: It's all in good fun, but Cross is fluent in trash-talk. If Crosshair was truly upset with the way the game is going, he gets quiet. Swears up a storm, about as many f-bombs as a rated R film. He's completely competitive. Wrecker enjoys the competition the most from an entertainment standpoint, followed by Tech from a challenge standpoint.

Does he take it easy on you: Depends on the nature of the relationship, and how long he's known you. But if Cross suspects the game's becoming frustrating, or even stopped being fun for you, then he'll adjust his play style accordingly. A game like Mario Kart stops being fun the moment someone looks like they're ready to walk away, for him.

Favorite item: Bullet Bill

Favorite race track: None in particular, likes utilizing the Random feature so the track is a surprise each time.

Bonus: His favorite racer is either Toad or King Boo.

ECHO

Watching vs Playing: Watches and plays in equal amounts. Between one hand and a scomp link, it took Echo some time to get the hang of playing Mario Kart essentially one-handed, so it was once pretty frustrating for him to play. He uses the steering wheel accessory to make playing easier for himself. (Omega later got his permission to add stickers and stuff to the accessory not long after she joined the squad and started playing Mario Kart with everyone.)

Does he take it easy on his brothers: They had to take it easy on him at first while he was getting the hang of the game. As a group, everyone helped him work up to a point that Echo could confidently play the game just like any other able-bodied individual. ("It'd be unfair to leave Echo out entirely… He should have an opportunity to play if he wants like the rest'a us!" Wrecker empathetically declared early-on.)

Later down the line, Echo performs pretty well in Mario Kart! He'll have days where he struggles a little more and doesn't play as long as he usually would, on occasion still of course. Assuming for the moment he's older than most of the Batch (save for perhaps Omega), one of his favorite forms of banter falls along the lines of "Don't tell me you boys are losing to an old ARC trooper!". He doesn't completely refrain from swearing, but he's not as reserved as one might think either.

Does he take it easy on you: It depends on how taxing he finds playing Mario Kart on any particular day. Some days he's able to give you a real run for your credits, others, he's just able to keep up, and others still, you have him smoked, no questions asked. He'll understand feeling sympathetic, but he'd probably hate if you felt really bad for him on the days he's struggling. (There's a difference between "I'm sorry you're struggling today, do you wanna try another race or stop for now?" and "I'm sorry you keep losing, Echo…")

Favorite item: Golden Mushroom

Favorite race track: The simpler tracks without additional obstacles, for the most part. But Rainbow Road is a classic for a reason.

Bonus: He's grateful for all the hours Wrecker helped him practice and built his confidence in playing with just one hand and the steering wheel accessory for the Wii.

WRECKER

Watching vs Playing: Loves to play, no matter how long or short the gaming session if someone invites him to join! If he's playing by himself, that's really the only time he'll be worried about placing first. He's more focused on having fun with others than his position when playing with his brothers and/or friends. If someone wants to play by themselves, say to practice a track they struggle with, then Wrecker's there to be their hype man. (Plus providing reminders for snacks and water breaks!)

Does he take it easy on his brothers: Wrecker plays very well, but overall wins few races when playing Mario Kart against other people. Because really, he just plays to have fun. Any pouting over a loss is short-lived, and quickly forgotten. It's more about having a good time overall than repeated victories. He enjoys challenges with Crosshair, and sometimes he can convince the marksman to go one-on-one if he's still got a competitive itch to scratch.

Does he take it easy on you: If he thinks it'll make you happy, or cheer you up, he'll certainly goof around a lot more to give you a better chance of winning. Wrecker enjoys spending the time with you either way, so however competitive you feel like getting is fine by him!

Favorite item: Bob-omb, of course!

Favorite race track: Bowser's Castle and Rainbow Road.

Bonus: A lot of helping Echo practice getting the hang of playing Mario Kart with just one hand just meant letting Echo get as frustrated as he wanted or needed some days, and responding without harsh judgements. When Omega joins the squad, and there's something bothering her, one of Wrecker's favorite things to try is spending about fifteen minutes just playing and goofing off with her around the track before asking her if he can do something to help her with the current problem. Even if she doesn't take him up on the offer, she's grateful he spent time with her to take her mind off of it temporarily.

OMEGA

Watching vs Playing: She'll tell you that she loves watching and playing with her brothers in equal measure, but really she loves being directly involved a whole lot more.

Do her brothers take it easy on her: When she's having a bad day, or something's bothering her, they make more of an effort to be more casual and less cutthroat for certain. She's still a kid, and she's developing differently than they did given her lack of accelerated aging. Try as she might, she's still going to have those days where everything is confusing, adults Just Don't Get It, and she's having difficulty explaining all her Big Feelings like any other child her age.

They'll do their best to be patient with her, and answer those questions the best they can (while Tech researches age appropriate solutions where applicable) on those bad days.

They also have to remember this kid is an absolute whizz at Dejarik; Omega might be the one who needs to go easy on some of her brothers on a good day!

Does she go easy on you: She understands that when playing with other people, it's not always about who wins. It's about the time spent with them, and how they make you feel. There's been a few occasions where she's tried playing against people other than her brothers or you, and she hasn't enjoyed it as much because the other person was bitter about their loss, or they were meanspirited or bragged too much over a win. "It's not fun to play with people like that. That's why I like playing with you and my brothers more." she tells you one day when you ask about it.

"Makes sense. Hey, one more time on your favorite race track, and then we should go get something to eat for lunch, okay?"

Favorite item: Star

Favorite race track: She has a lot of favorites, but she's mentioned she likes Rainbow Road because it reminds her of hyperspace.

Bonus: She enjoys playing with everyone all at once whenever possible. She understands Mario Party is a separate game, and it really should be called "Mario Kart Night" instead, but she likes calling them Mario Party Nights, and those are her favorite nights of all.

Hey, yesterday I covered the olden ways of doing We Are Number One rips - it only seems right to contrast it with how things are done nowadays!

Though, of course, Robbie's Rotten Mine is far form the first rip of this style that I've covered on here, but it likely won't even be the last. Chillin’ Like A Villain, Ska Cha Cha (Rotten Mix), and of course The expanse of meme in past was split, A fiendish trap has now been set; Behind a tree the villains sit, Terror of sport, the Robbie's Net., are all some of my favorite rips on the channel - and the reason is just because, even eight years later, I'm very attached to this silly ska song. There's a lot of memes that seem to have run their course for people, stuff like All Star mashups as I talked about in Semi-Charmed All Star, and while the rest of the internet certainly aren't out there celebrating We Are Number One anymore, the SiIvaGunner team is still making rips of the song at a remarkably consistent clip. And like, I stand by what I declared back on We Are Number 4 (Golden) - of all the long-running jokes on the channel, We Are Number One feels as if it is the most refined and polished one - it isn't just being used as a reocurring gag, but because rippers have become exceptionally good at using it for truly high quality rips.

Robbie's Rotten Mine, then, decides to combine my affection for We Are Number One with my unabashed love for Mario Kart Wii, which I've rambled on about with several posts already now like Neon Wi-Fi and Sweatpants Select. The result is a rip that just made me smile as soon as the rugpull occurred: Those unedited first four seconds builds suspense for just long enough, only for Robbie's sax playing to suddenly introduce the rip proper, not just revealing the joke, but reminding you of just how far We Are Number One-posting has come. Because yes, that is unmistakeably the same saxophone sound as in the original song - but its playing the opening to Wario's Gold Mine, the arrangement is absolutely seamlessly blending the two. It really just gets better from there going into the chorus, I love how the ripper leverages Wario's Gold Mine having a sort of ebb-and-flow between sounding silly and trepidatious by matching them with We Are Number One's chorus and verses respectively. The Wario's Gold Mine melody going all nervewracking and tense feels like it was MADE for something like Robbie Rotten talking about sneaking around and laying booby traps - in the words of one commenter, "I’m more surprised this didn’t happen until now".

I talk a lot on here about rips in the vein of, say, Poké Village: the ones that feel ever-so-personal, like love letters to parts of a ripper's life, the ones that bridge parts of the online world together that you'd never considered before listening. But there's just as much value to be found in the rips on the other end of the spectrum, ones like Among Drip Drop Galaxy - the ones where the joke fits so well, that it's a marvel it hadn't been done sooner. I declared Among Drip Drop Galaxy a damn-near perfect rip for that very reason, and I'm going to do the very same for Robbie's Rotten Mine - with maybe just one sole exception, there are few songs that I think would fit We Are Number One quite as perfectly as Wario's Gold Mine, and yet it took me eight years past the meme's upbringing for me to come to that conclusion. And to me, that speaks volumes to just how enduring of a tune We Are Number One is - there's surely yet more to be done with this track, and I'm all here for it.

Hey bestie!! 😁 Thank you soooo much for sending me a few questions!!! Here are my answers:

🎲 It has to be Trivia! 🤩 I just LOVE it!!! 😁 I used to play Trivial Pursuit a LOT in the Wii, even with my mom who totally dislikes videogames 😂 And when it's focused on a specific matter, like The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Super Mario... I love it even MORE 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩

🌎 Okay, I'm affraid I'm gonna cheat in this one 🤭 First I'm gonna say Ireland, for it was my very first trip aboard. I was 18 and I went the summer after I finished high school with a bunch of classmates (we had all been given a scholarship so that we could practice English in an English-speaking environment). And it was so GREAT. I spent two weeks in Dublin and they also took us to many other places like Belfast (where Titanic was built!!!) and Glendalough. I fell HARD for the Emerald Isle and I've been meaning to go back since then, but life has gotten so expensive that it's been impossible 😅 I just hope I can finally do it at some point in a few years 🤞🤞🤞

Yes, I took a picture with Oscar Wilde... and I don't look too happy about it 😂😂😂 And of course I had to fool around at one of those souvenir stores full of typical Irish stuff 😂😂😂 I wanted to buy it all 🤭😁 The others were at some of the places we visited: a beach north of Dublin, a riff and Glendalough's graveyard, with those beautiful crosses that I've always liked 🥰

And the second place I'm gonna say is within my own country, and I'm sorry but I just had to 🤭 I LOVE Madrid 🤩 I live far from it (I'm a Southern girl), but I went for the first time in 2017 and, like with Ireland, I fell HARD. Madrid is a very cosmopolitan city and it offers absolutely EVERYTHING that you may ask for (except for a beach 😂). It has great buildings, TONS of museums, lots of lovely places to visit... I especially LOVE the Retiro Park. So HUGE and beautiful! 😍 I even got lost more than once because I'm not used to nature, I'm a city girl 😂 But I love it!!! And it's more or less easy to go everywhere thanks to the subway, though I must admit, at first I had trouble trying to understand how it worked because there's no subway where I live, only train and bus 😂

And also, many events of all kinds take place during the whole year: musical, sporting, artistic... And literary! I've been managing to go there every single year since 2018 for the Book Fair in June, and, my God, for a bookworm like me, that book fair is simply a DREAM come true. This year sadly I won't be able to attend (life too expensive again), but I treasure every single time I've been in Madrid for the past few years and I look forward to going back next year (and, perhaps, someday I'll be able to live in Madrid since it's my freaking dream 🤞🤞🤞).

Don't know if you've raced through Madrid Drive in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, but if you have... some of these places may sound familiar 🤭 From top left to bottom right: Gran Vía, Puerta del Sol, the Arbutus Bear, and Atocha, the biggest station I've seen in my entire life 😂

That statue on the left is the Fallen Angel Statue and it's in the Retiro Park. I don't know why, but that statue speaks to me, so I always take TONS of pics every time I visit Madrid. And the one on the right is in the middle of the Book Fair, in one of those stands they put so people can take pics in them. Man, I'm gonna miss so much not visiting the Book Fair this year 🥲

Also! Look what I ran into when I entered FNAC, one of the biggest malls in Madrid! 😁

I was already totally obsessed with Mario, since this was in June, so suddenly seeing this almost at the beginning of my trip made me SO HAPPY!!! 😁😁😁 It's always Mario time for me!!! ❤️❤️❤️

📺 Ooohh you and @vulpixfairy1985 have asked me the same thing! 🤭 Since I already mentioned Lost in her ask, I'm gonna say another show that I watched while growing up and that had an impact on me as a reader and as a writer: Charmed. It's a show from the 90s-early 2000s about three four witch sisters, the Halliwell sisters, and they all had different magical powers and had to fight against demons and such, and it was so GREAT 🤩 I take it that the special effects weren't as good since it was the 90s, but to me back them they actually were, and I unconsciously included some of them in my writing when I was a teen 🤭 And of course, I LOVED the relationship between the sisters 🥹 I've always loved stories that revolve about two or more siblings, and this show truly fed me back then 🤭

Hermits as Songs from the Mario Kart Wii OST

(yes specifically Wii, not mariokart 8. Their rendition of moo moo meadows is bad)

Bdubs- Maple Treeway (pretty song for the man with pretty builds. who am I kidding, all their builds are pretty lol. still think this one is vibey and suits him)

Beef- Moo Moo Meadows (yes, I think the chill vibes fit him, it's not just because there are cows. It's maybe a little bit just because there are cows)

Cleo- Luigi Circuit and Mario Circuit (first off, can't believe they used the same song for two courses. second off, nice song with interesting stuff going on throughout. she can have two courses, as a treat)

Cub- GBA Battle Course 3 (funky beat with higher energy and also just plain fun)

Doc- Grumble Volcano (spooky ominous song for the man who insists on playing a villain lol, but there's still more to it to make the song interesting)

Etho- N64 DK's Jungle Parkway (can't believe this man always builds in a jungle. same tune all the way through reflects his consistency in content [I mean this in a good way lol, his videos are great])

False- Rainbow Road (pretty song, gives me the sort of grand feeling that reminds me of her s9 base)

Grian- Chain Chomp Roulette (I don't know how to explain it but half the tune sounds like it's a satire of the funky chicken dance. Kinda baffling but still a good time)

Gem- Coconut Mall (a lot of fun but not overwhelmingly chaotic, iconic)

Hypno- SNES Battle Course 4 (look man idk, it's literally past midnight and this is what I'm doing. it fits his vibe I think)

Impulse- DS Delphino Square (good song with a lot going on, but balances it all very well)

Iskall- GCN Mario Circuit (great song with just the right amount of funk to it to keep things interesting)

Jevin- GBA Shy Guy Beach (got me boppin my head man, very pleasant tunes)

Joe- SNES Ghost Valley 2 (less a song and more like two minutes of spooky noises being strung together, which sounds like the kind of bit he'd commit to. Beetlejhost)

Joel- Moonview Highway (high energy, kinda crazy, lots of fun and great vibes)

Keralis- GCN Peach Beach (matches his tropical vibe this season)

Mumbo- Koopa Cape (kinda weird. kinda funky. half of it sounds like it's underwater, who comes up with this stuff)

Pearl- Mushroom Gorge (bouncy, lots of personality, lots of layers to the music and lots of layers to the detailing in her builds)

Ren- Aqua Resort (a banger, keeps things insteresting all the way through, a lot of fun)

Scar- GCN Cookie Land (not just because of the cookie shop lol. bouncy tune, a good time for Mr. Goodtimes)

Skizz- Finished Race [First Place] Results (not a course related song but still a banger, giving it to him because he deserves first place, and because I've only got good memories associated with it)

Stress- Daisy Circuit (pretty song, fairly chill with just a bit of a kick to it, reminds me of her brand of chaos)

Tango- Toads Factory (very industrial, fits his base this season. I was tempted to give it to Doc though)

TFC- Wario's Gold Mine (while a chiller track would probably fit him better, we're settling for the Mine One. Still a good song though)

Wels- N64 Mario Raceway (a bit calmer as far as some of these songs go, but no less interesting and fun for it)

xB- DK Snowboard Cross (calm. vibey. could have half his house blown up in demise and still be cool about it)

Xisuma- Block Plaza (fun, and the blocky noise reminds me of tech-related kinda stuff. not exactly reflective of his more naturey build style, but does relate a bit to his minecraft update videos or redstone work)

Zed- Dry Dry Ruins (much like this song randomly switching to a completely different song halfway through, I never know what he'll be doing next)

Playlist of the songs if anyone cares enough to listen to it and tell me why I'm wrong lol, but given I spent several hours on this and most people don't listen to the mario kart wii soundtrack for fun, I'm willing to assume I'm in safe waters

For the purposes of this exercise we can assume that dr crygor did some weird shit to the wii so that they can all play on the same system. Don't worry about it

Wario: Mona actually clicked on wario first but they argue over it and wario ends up with wario

Mona: She goes for waluigi next but everyone vehemently discourages her from playing as waluigi because "that's too weird". They all expect her to play as daisy instead but she goes with birdo because "she's prettier"

Jimmy T: Funky kong because "i like his style". He knows not the power he wields

Orbulon: Rosalina and he puts a lot of thought into choosing his bike and insists that he's played out every bike scenario in his head and that this is objectively the best one. Loses anyways

Kat: Kat and ana fight over yoshi but kat wins so ana has to settle for the next best thing

Ana: Koopa troopa

9-volt: Wants to play as bowser but 18-volt wants him to play as mario so that they can both be mario and luigi. 9-volt begrudgingly relinquishes bowser to play as the inferior character and wario is pretty mad that anyone in this house is choosing to play as mario but what is he gonna do

18-volt: Luigi

5-volt: dry bowser because she unlocked him so she gets dibs

Penny: Toadette

Dr. Crygor: Toad because "then I can be your grandpa in the game too". 9-volt argues that toad is not toadette's grandpa but dr. crygor is like well is toadette's grandpa a toad? Yes? Then i'm her grandpa

Red: Bowser and everyone is surprised he didn't choose bowser jr. but they have nothing in common, c'mon guys

Ashley: Dry bones because king boo is "lame"

Spitz: Diddy kong because hes a little guy

Dribble: Donkey kong because hes a big guy

young Cricket: Princess peach because she is nice

Master mantis: Baby luigi. He just saw baby luigi and said yes....he is the one. Did not elaborate

Mike: Faced with a lack of sufficiently cool options, Mike has no choice but to go with king boo. Everyone makes fun of him relentlessly because king boo is lame even though no one thought that until ashley said it

oh yeah, i agree with you that rain is the only in the pack who's patient enough to play games like elden rings and stuff... games with an actual story

and he would definitely wreck everyone in PVP cod or overwatch or valorant

this conversation from yesterday got me thinking abt the ghouls's favorite videogames so here's my hc (coming from a person with very little experience in gaming):

dewdrop loves horror games with blood gore jumpscares, all that shit. like, I'm sure he loved the mortuary assistant and i think the only "long" game he has the patient to play is resident evil, just bc of the jumpscares you can get and the fighting zombies and shit (don't let that boy anywhere NEAR the niche youtube creepypastas videos like the mandela catalogue or the backrooms)

swiss is probably some shit like wii sports or just dance BUT he also loves mario kart and super mario 3d world. he also plays fall guys with rain sometimes

So, from a person with moderate gaming experience, these are great. Let me expand on them a tiny bit because I can't resist.

Dew is absolutely the horror game guy. Both the serious and stupid ones. He tries, repeatedly, to get others to play the really scary ones with him just so he can watch them get jump scared. He got most of the ghouls to play Man of Medan with him over the course of a single evening. They ended up sleeping in the common room together that night. Yes. Even Dew. (I'm not talking from personal experience with this one, not AT ALL). Swiss KILLS it at Just Dance. The Ghoulettes do too. The four of them play it together ALL the time. I think he also enjoys the classic fighting games, Tekken, Mortal Kombat, Soul Caliber. He plays those with Cumulus a lot. Cumulus usually wins.

I think Mountain plays games WITH others, but not usually alone. So it's mostly games like overcooked (this ends in a fight, every time), borderlands, whatever horror game Dew is pushing on them this week, Mario party--that kind of thing. Also occasionally Animal Crossing. In my mind, I think Rain's favorite game is something like Diablo. Classic. Can be played with his friends. Can be REALLY difficult, or very easy, depending on how you play it. And easy to play over and over again. Sunshine always wins at Mario Party somehow even though she claims she has no idea what she's doing. Cirrus is almost as good as Rain at shooters, and no one knows how or why.

Finally got 3 stars on every cup in 200cc in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's base game. I'm saving the DLC for when it's finally all out and i'm in a big Mario Kart mood again.

I was disheartened to learn that this is not in fact how you unlock the gold wheels, but you have to beat the staff ghost in time trial in 150CC on every track... dude, I can't even come close to beating that ghost on the first basic ass Mario Kart Stadium track even using the same character and set of gear that the world record holder has, so i'm just gonna give up on that. I think completing Grand Prix is enough for me.

You know a lot of people say "They shouldn't make another Smash Bros because they're never going to top Smash Ultimate, since they'll have to cut things", which is nonsense, they can still make a great game even if they do have to make cuts, and it makes too much money to cut anyway. ( though personally speaking, I hope they just port Ultimate and update it in the future like they did for Mario Kart )

How come nobody is saying anything like this with Mario Kart 8 because at this point, if they make another Mario Kart, and it goes back to only having 16 tracks and 16 racers, fans are going to be kind of bummed. They've got a lot to live up to after the DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe wraps up... it is the best feeling Mario Kart to date, and yes while all the extra content was originally DLC, I don't think most people who bought the game will see it that way, since only a fraction of the people playing MK8 had a Wii U,

In my biased eyes, the best thing they could do is consider taking a page out of the Diddy Kong Racing play book and give the game an Adventure Mode. Especially now that the movie is tying Mario Kart to an epic storyline for the first time, I think we finally have some precedent. Hell at this point i'd even settle for something in the same style as F-Zero GX but with Mario Kart. I just want some context dammit.

Anyway, ramble over. I've always been a bit of a casual fan of Mario Kart, not really "Getting" it since i'm so single player focused, and it, plus all the party/sports spinoffs feel like they fly in the face of the Mario series as I know it. But I guess something just clicked with me recently and I'm kind of getting into it a lot more, find myself being eager for more, revisiting the older games ( besides the first two ) and developing headcanon to rationalize the existence of a racing tournament with heroes and villains ( still can't really justify the babies or alternate versions of mario and peach tho, I wish they'd stop including them )

- He's a 10 but he makes his houses out of dirt and a door ✋️💀

- Shirabu's really good with bow and arrows 👀 he usually just steals a house from a village and claims it

- Now Reon, he's a master builder. His houses are works of ART

- Shirabu probably adopts a bunch of dogs just to hit Semi and have them all attack him

- Where's he gonna hide? In his dirt block? Three punches and he is DONE

- Reon likes little turtles, he has a little beach where he keeps his pet turtles

- Semi just likes going sicko mode on the horses

- They all end up living in Reon's house, they share a room and have it decorated with paintings, carpet, flowers, everything 😪

8. Game of the year?

it wasn't released this year but tbh i'd have to say mario kart wii bc i played so much of that during the summer bc i was trying to unlock all the characters that i never got to play as a kid. literally all i did during the summer was play mario kart, watch kids in the hall, listen to will wood, have zoom meetings about other girls, and watch video essays. it was a vibe

12. Talk about a new friend you made this year

oh my god there are so many this year really did wonders for my social life. for this one tho i'm gonna choose ruby (the actor who played aubrey in other girls) bc we met during their audition in june, i didn't know who she was going to play but i knew they had to be in the cast immediately, and i was so happy to have them as aubrey bc they were really able to bring a whole other dimension to that character which was so special to me. but beyond that they were so fun to work with, she's one of the funniest people i know, we found out we have a lot in common through how much we both relate to aubrey, and honestly it was just great to have another trans person working closely on this project. anyway now that the show's done i haven't been able to see them as often (especially bc it ended right before finals season) but every time we walk past each other on the way to classes we both smile wide and wave at each other with a comical level of enthusiasm which is like yes validation!! also her boyfriend was the sound person for other girls and they're such a cute couple together i really hope i get the chance to hang out with that whole friend group more next year

13. How was your birthday this year?

really good tbh! my birthday is halloween so i got to spend it dressed as buddy cole from the softball sketch, but beyond that this was one of my best birthdays in recent memory bc i actually had a lot of friends who wished me happy birthday which i didn't get in past years (especially last year, i'd just gotten out of a really toxic friend group before my birthday in 2021 so the silence on that birthday was deafening) tbh the one bad thing was that i was still battling a cold on my birthday but aside from being sick it was a good day.

This is a sequel to Danthony 2013 I wrote yes, ten years ago lmao. You will be disappointed to learn I have not become a better writer lmaooo but I do still enjoy it so here ya go. I will add the original one so its a nice long read.

Dan felt Anthony’s arm loosely around his neck, as his own hand was searching for a spot on Anthony’s back that was as low as possible while still being acceptable to passers-by.

“It’s actually happening. It’s actually happening,” Dan kept on repeating in his mind. He might have blurted it out once or twice under his breath, while he and Phil were supporting the gorgeous young man and walked towards their hotel.

The last few months had been like a dream. At first there had been a lot of twitter messages, then texts, then Skype conversations. Dan had (easily) convinced Anthony to do an interview for Dan and Phil’s radio show. And Dan had bought a Wii U especially so he could play Mario Kart online with Anthony. Not that he would ever admit that. And now they had been partying, hard, together.

Dan heard Anthony breathe heavily. “Are you alright?” he stammered , still walking.

“Yeah” was all Anthony could manage.

“Shh, it’s OK”, Phil, who had his harm around Anthony’s shoulders and was his main support, said reassuringly. “We’ll be there soon”.

“Mmmmm”, said Anthony.

Anthony Padilla! The guy of Dan’s dreams. Maybe that sounded weird, but it was true. He had practically been pulled into YouTube by Anthony and Smosh. He liked that he looked somewhat similar to Anthony, and he was thrilled that Anthony’s first name was Daniel too (Anthony was his second name). How he wanted to be as cool as him! So outgoing, with an infectious laugh and beaming eyes. All Dan could manage was a proper and somewhat up-tight British thing, or whatever it was that he did. He genuinely didn’t like himself at all. Dan was unsociable and lazy. Anthony was approachable, even for Dan, and he was so hard-working. Dan had been crying, watching Anthony’s ‘draw my life’ video. He had started with nothing and made Smosh as big as it was now, by sheer work ethic and, of course, his charming personality.

“There, let me just get my keys”, Phil said, carefully placing Anthony’s right arm on Dan so that the two guys were practically hugging. They had arrived at the hotel and somehow got Anthony in and out the elevator to their room. Dan couldn’t help but laugh awkwardly. Anthony let his head rest on Dan’s shoulder, though, and Dan felt his hot breath in his neck. It made his hair stand up.

Dan had felt butterflies violently fluttering in his stomach all the way during their flight to Orlando. Phil was mostly excited about going to Sea World, though. Dan couldn’t help but feel warm and affectionate towards Phil, his cuter than cute best friend. He also felt very protective over him and wouldn’t leave his side. He had panicked internally when he and Cat had lost him for a few minutes in a restaurant the other day, although he would never show it. So right now, he was with the two persons in the whole world he wanted to be with most: Anthony and Phil.

Phil opened the door and said “Shall I call Kalel to tell her you’re here?”

“Hmmm”, was the agreeing noise Anthony made from Dan’s shoulder. Dan was still standing next to the door, not trying to move but not wanting to move either. Their body heat had merged and it felt incredibly comfortable.

“..yes, he’s pretty drunk, but we got him to the hotel safely. Yeah, that’s alright, have a nice night, see you tomorrow!” came Phil’s voice from the hallway. His innocent face appeared through the door and he said “Kalel will pick him up tomorrow morning. She’s still partying with her friends”. Dan and Phil slowly but steadily moved Anthony into their hotel room, and placed him on Dan’s bed.

“Thank you”, Anthony murmured, and he was gone. Sleeping like an angel, Dan thought. Phil smiled onesidedly and said “Americans just aren’t used to British drinking!” and he laughed, still a bit intoxicated himself. Dan beamed at him and ruffled his hair. Phil made a purring sound and went into the shower.

Dan stayed by Anthony’s side. He could watch him forever. So beautiful, his hair was perfect. Way more luscious than Dan’s hair would ever be. So shiny… Dan kneeled at Anthony’s bedside and slowly traced one lock of Anthony’s hair down his jawline. Dan sighed. “Thank you”, he whispered, to nobody in particular. He was just thankful that Anthony Padilla lay on his bed right now. A sudden jolt of adrenaline hit him. Did he dare? He bit his lip and slowly released it, then traced his upper lip with his tongue. He inched closer to Anthony’s face. Anthony’s perfect, angelic sleeping face.

Dan looked at Anthony’s mouth. It was curled in a peaceful sleepy half-smile. His cheeks were still red. Dan just did it. Really quick. He kissed Anthony’s cheek. If he felt adrenaline before, it was nothing to what he was feeling now. Things seemed to move in slow motion. He bent over Anthony again and placed a kiss on his lips. He let go, but then he kissed him again, longer now and softer. Anthony moaned softly in his sleep and Dan was horrified for a moment, and just froze in position, but then Anthony kissed him back - kissed him back - and moaned some more. Dan couldn’t believe himself but he was beyond glad that Anthony was still asleep. He was starting to realize what he was doing though and sat up fast, face flushing scarlet, touching his own lips incredulously.

“Wha-, what did I just do?”, he whispered.

After a while, Phil returned from the shower, shirtless, and still drying his hair with a towel. “The shower is yours”, he said sweetly. Dan had been frozen in place with his finger still on his lips. He mechanically got up and went into the shower.

Dan didn’t sleep all night. His body was surging with emotions and went from manically rejoicing to horrified despair. He couldn’t even lie down. He just rocked back and forth on the floor. After what he had done, he physically couldn’t get into the same bed as Anthony, but he couldn’t join Phil either because he would notice that he was tense. “It actually happened. This actually happened”, Dan whispered to himself.

“Hiiii sweety!!” Kalel said to her boyfriend as she came into the room. The three guys were just having breakfast but Phil had got up to let her in.

“Baby!” Anthony said with his mock sweet voice and he fluttered his eye lashes. Dan laughed but then stopped and looked mortified of guilt. Nobody noticed though.

“How was your night with the English folk? A bit too much for you, eh?” Kalel teased.

“It certainly was fun!” Anthony said, smiling.

“Let’s do that again sometime, Dan and Phil! Maybe we will come visit you guys in London on our next holiday!”

“That would be awesome!” Phil replied.

“Thanks guys, for keeping my boy safe and sound” said Kalel and she kissed them both on the cheek. Dan’s face flushed again.

“Aww, isn’t he cute!” Kalel laughed.

“He’s adorable. They both are”, said Anthony. “I could just kiss them!” he jokingly added, and Dan thought he couldn’t be more horrified but he could, because suddenly Anthony looked at him funny, like he remembered something, and his face went red too, but he then shook his head and he and Kalel left, promising to play some more Mario Kart online in a few days.

Phil saw Dan sitting with a vacant expression and he was worried. He felt so protective over his best friend. He knew Dan secretly liked Anthony and seeing him go again must have made him sad. So Phil sat down next to him and put his arm around him. Dan’s chest heaved and he began to cry. He buried himself into Phil’s warm embrace and Phil held him close.

“You’re the best friend in the world”, Dan sobbed.

“So are you”, Phil said. Dan couldn’t believe he was crying, when he had the best person in the world sitting next to him, comforting him after he yet again had made a fool of himself. He loved Phil more than ever. Dan felt Phil’s arms around his waist, as his own hands were placed around Phil’s back. It felt right. They sat there, embracing, for a long time.

2023

Anthony was in Prague. The ancient city intrigued him, enticed him to explore and feel nostalgic. Who lived here hundreds or even thousands of years ago? Had they led nice lives? Were they fulfilled, and did they reach their full potential?

Anthony always worried about living up to his potential. Growing up poor had done that to him. Even though he would never have money problems again, he always felt an innate need to work hard, harder, and never stop... To remind himself of what really mattered, the intangible things, the humanity of life, he had set some very personal and meaningful tattoos. They reminded him every day. Yes, he was still a workaholic. But it wasn't toxic anymore. He was happy to get out of bed each morning and loved his life and his job. It wasn't even a real job, he just showed up and enjoyed himself. What a life!

Of course, in the back of Anthony's mind there still loomed some darkness. It had taken him years to get to this place of wellbeing. He still faced the ghost of his past sometimes when he had flardes of memory flashing before his eyes, of the time when his emotions were all wrapped up and he had truly been mentally unwell.

Do I deserve this happiness?

Anthony didn't know. After his tattoos had been updated and expanded, he took the flight back to LA, a place so familiar but also a mixed bag for Anthony when it came to where he really wanted to live. Prague seemed so much more peaceful. Yet LA was the place he could do his job and where all his friends and family lived.

He sighed as he got on the plane, dressed in a tracksuit and with only a weekend bag of his clothes and some protein bars.

The weather was awful. Rain streamed against the plane window, and Anthony was suddenly overcome with the most random of feelings: two soft, warm lips on his, an alcohol filled night, and those lips they had rejuvenated him, lit a fire under him that had sustained him for years. Whose were they? He involuntarily blushed and shook his head as if to rid himself of the thought. Was it a memory? A fantasy?

"We are making an emergency landing at London Heathrow Airport," the pilot said after a few hours of stressful turbulence.

"Ugh, just my luck... well, I shouldn't complain. I'm healthy, I have a roof over my head, I'm well fed, I have many loved ones... focus, Anthony. You didn't want to leave Europe just yet anyway." Anthony hyped himself up and made a plan.

When he got out of the plane, he immediately called his old friend Dan.

"Hi, yeah, it's me. So yeah, my plane made an emergency landing! Yeah, it sure was scary! Would it be okay if I crashed at your guys' place? Oh, Phil isn't there? Well then, I could have his bed? Hahahahha just kidding. I will gladly sleep in your guest room. Thanks so much, Dan. See you in a bit then."

Anthony smiled to himself. Of all his youtuber friends, Dan was a special one. For one, Anthony knew Dan had a major crush on him. He had made that know very plainly last year. Anthony didn't mind, Dan was hardly the only guy lusting after him. But Dan also had something else. He had a delicate quality to him that Anthony could not quite pinpoint. Maybe it was his eyes. They looked feminine somehow and very pretty... Anthony shook his head again.

"Chill out, Anthony, those days are behind you..."

The cab arrived at Dan and Phil's house and Dan greeted Anthony at the port.

"Anthony!"

"So nice to see you, Dan!"

They hugged. Dan smelled sweet, like flowers.

"I guess this is a sleepover! Just kidding, unless... hahaha I am actually kidding, of course you just want a place to stay until your plane leaves for America. Oh no, I've made it weird..."

"You're so cute when you're flustered."

Anthony was pushing his luck, but he knew how hot he was and how he made both women and men squirm under his gaze.

"Shut up. Shut.. hahaha, you're kidding, haa. I know what you're doing, Anthony. You need to stop. Hahaha, or continue..."

"Just show me my bedroom, and I will not bother you until tomorrow morning." Anthony winked at Dan, who winked back and then looked mortified. Anthony couldn't help but laugh.

Dan lived in a very nice new neighborhood with white houses, young trees, and a lot of posh cats, lurking in the twilight outside. It was very different than the old city of Prague. But Anthony felt himself wonder the same things. Do people here feel fulfilled, are they living up to their potential? Are they happy?

Dan showed Anthony his room and Anthony dropped his stuff there. He actually didn't feel like sleeping just yet, however tired he may be.

"Are you in for a Smash Brothers rematch for old times sake?" Anthony asked with a twinkle in his eyes.

"I thought you would never ask," Dan said grinning and he led Anthony to the gaming room which had a mini fridge stocked with hard liquor, from which they drank, negatively influencing their game performances. But it felt good, comfortable to goof around with Dan. Anthony started to feel sleepy. Then that vision or rather feeling hit him again: warm, soft lips, a sweet smell...

Anthony froze.

"What's the matter, Anthony?"

"Was it you?"

"What do you mean?"

"Have you ever kissed me?"

Silence. Anthony looked at Dan, who looked pale, like a deer in headlights.

"So you HAVE kissed me. But when, where, how? It's driving me crazy."

"I... I..." Dan was having a breakdown, Anthony could tell, and he secretly reveled once again in making the other guy sweat and blush. But also, all his memories now fell into place. It had been at a night during Vidcon, he'd spent the night at Dan's hotel room. It was Dan. Dan had kissed him with those exquisite lips. Anthony's world was spinning. Was this missing from my own life? Will I finally be truly happy?

"Hey," Anthony said softly, laying a hand on Dan's shoulder. He had just won, so he didn't mind letting go of the controllers. "It's okay, I'm not mad or anything. It's just that I have this memory. God, it's so long ago, we were both still babies. I remember the feeling of warm lips against mine, and it felt very nice, actually."

Dan had overcome his episode apparently but now he looked very serious.

"Please Anthony, don't play with my heart like this. You're straight I get it. I didn't know at the time, I didn't. And still it's inexcusable, it wasn't consensual, it was a foolish thing to do. I'll accept whatever you decide to be my punishment."

"Hey..."

Anthony had to tell him.

"You know, you triggered something there. A feeling I had to explore. I hooked up with guys a couple of times, but it just wasn't the same, you know? So I figured I must be straight. But it was you. Do you mind if I tried this one more time?"

And he leaned in to Dan who sat next to him on the couch. Dan was searing hot and radiating his heat in all directions. He was very cute.

"Please, Dan. I just want to feel your lips once more..."

Trembling, Dan leaned in as well, and it was fireworks. Nothing Anthony had ever experienced with a girl or with a guy. This was heaven. He tugged on Dan's shirt to get him closer. He breathed in that sweet scent. He pushed his tongue inside Dan's mouth, Dan moaning in confused pleasure. He would fuck Dan Howell tonight.

Anthony broke their kiss and took his shirt off in front of Dan, who looked like he saw God himself.

"Dan, please undress."

Saw this video game tag thing pop up on my dash a few days ago. Wanted to do it.

1. First game you played obsessively? Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, I believe I was 5yo. Still waiting on that FF7 Remake treatment.

2. A game that has influenced you creatively? Writing, drawing, etc. Well if I play a game and like it, then I'll create sims of it. Does that count?

3. Who did you play with as a kid? My brother from the day I was born.

4. Who do you play with now? My brother FROM THE DAY I WAS BORN.

5. Ever use cheat codes? I wasn't lying when I made this post. {link}

6. Ever buy strategy guides? Yes! Mainly to look at the artwork though. (Don't need no guide!)

7. Any games you have multiple copies of? Lots of games, most being Left 4 Dead with 6 copies (3 Xbox 360, 1 PC case, 2 PC digitally.) What can I say, its a GOOD GAME!

8. Rarest/Most expensive game in your collection? Gold cartridge Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time (maybe that's rare?)

9. Most regrettable purchase? I don't regret my purchases, but I have received games I have never played like Cubix (PS2) no clue where that game came from, but I have it somehow. Madagascar (Xbox 360) came with my Xbox 360, never opened it from its case. And Monsters Inc. Scream Arena (Gamecube) or something... it was a gift.

10. Ever go to a midnight game release or stand in line for hours? No, because then I'd have to interact with people.

11. Have you ever made new friends from playing video games? I'm only friends with people BECAUSE of video games, so yes.

12. Ever get picked on for liking games? No, that'd be ridiculous.

13. A game you’ve never played that everyone else has? Probably a lot, I'd say Call of Duty, but I technically played CoD 1, 2, and 4. The campaign mode was alright, but I don't really care for CoD games at ALL.

14. Favorite game music? Koji Kondo and Grant Kirkhope are two BIG ones.

15. If it was a requirement to get a game related tattoo, what would you pick? Triforce is the most basic option, but I'd rather not get a tattoo.

16. Favorite game to play with your friends IRL? Super Smash Bros. Brawl with hacks, but that was over a decade ago.

17. Ever lose a friend over a game? No, that'd be ridiculous.

18. Would you date someone that hates gaming? No, that'd be RIDICULOUS.

19. Favorite handheld console? PSP. 3DS is great, but PSP Monster Hunter has ALL of my portable gaming memories. Like playing in school after End of Grade tests with my friend.

20. Game that you know like the back of your hand? Sims 4 I like to think I know everything about Left 4 Dead. Quite a bit about Monster Hunter, more so of a series though than a specific game.

21. Game that you didn’t like or understand as a kid but love now? I'd say Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. I loved it as a kid, but had a lot of complex pen & paper RPG mechanics that I never understood. I understand a lot more of it now, but its still complex as all heck. I just know you hit things, they die.

22. Do you wear game related clothing/accessories? That's the only thing I wear.

23. The game that you’ve logged the most hours into? Not sure so I'll list a few. Sims 4, Smash Bros. Brawl, Monster Hunter (its a series though), or Left 4 Dead

24. First Pokemon game? Leaf Green

25. Were you ever an arcade game player? No, don't like paying to play.

26. Ever form any gaming rivalries? No.

27. Game that makes you rage? I don't get mad at games, but I had a custom modded Hard Eight mutation in Left 4 Dead that is absolute bullsh*t!

28. Ever play in a tournament? No, because then I'd have to interact with people.

29. What is your gaming set up? A giant wall of video game consoles spanning from NES to Switch, 4 TVs, but I sit at a desk with a PC.

30. How many consoles do you own? "I own every console that's ever existed." - I Don't Play Games When I Play Games (My STRENTH) original song by Smooth McGroove BUT no seriously I own 32 consoles including handhelds.

31. Does the 3DS and/or Virtual Boy hurt your eyes or give you headaches? Yes. 3DS gave me headaches though I only really played with the 3D feature in Ocarina of Time 3D. I think my eyes broke because I couldn't get my 3D to work very well after.

32. Did you ever play a game based on your favorite show/cartoon/movie/comic? Sure I play games based on a lot of things. Literally any anime game. If I had to pick Dragon Ball Xenoverse is kinda like a dream Dragon Ball game. Oh, Attack on Titan 2 is pretty neat too!

33. Did you ever have any bootleg games or plug-n-play games? Some SEGA plug-n-play thing once. Played it like once and now its lost to time (or my closet.)

34. Do either of your parents play video games? Yes. Mom and Dad played NES Super Mario Bros. My Dad went HARD at that game until he saved the Princess. Then he quit forever.

35. Ever work in a game store? Or do you have a favorite game shop? "Hi. Welcome to Gamestop!"I never want to hear that again, but it was my main store until I went full digital/ online orders.

36. Have you ever shed actual blood, sweat or tears over a game? No, I don't tend to get upset or emotional, but Bill dying in Left 4 Dead made me pretty pissed.

37. Have you played E.T. for the Atari 2600? Do you think that’s the worst game ever, or do you have another nomination? Never played it. I don't really play "bad" games, but maybe Sims 4.

38. A game you’re ashamed to admit that you like? The Sims 4

39. A sequel that you would die for them to make? Dragon's Dogma 2 WHICH I think is actually in development, so I'd have to say Fallout New Vegas 2. C'mon Bethesda you cowards, hand the keys back over to Obsidian so they can make another good Fallout game!

40. What to you think of virtual reality headsets or motion controls? Two part question, two answers. VR Headset to immerse in world, yes. Motion Controls, no.

41. A genre that you just can’t get into? MOBAs and MMOs. I don't like paying to keep playing.

42. Maybe it wasn’t your first game, but what was the game that started you on your path to nerdiness? Nintendo 64 opened me up to what video games could be as a kid. Sad to say my parents' NES didn't really do that for me. And years later Fallout 3 was a big game changer for me too.

43. Ever play games when you really should have been concentrating on something else? Every day of my LIFE.

44. Arcade machine that has consumed the most of your quarters? None. I'd rather emulate.

45. How are you at Mario Kart? Pretty dang good. 3-STARS MARIO KART WII, BABY!

46. Do you like relaxing games like Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon? Yes, both of those. I preferred when Animal Crossing had more character to it. New Horizons looks so pretty, but feels so bland compared to classic AC.

47. Do you like competitive games? No. Not really. Usually amongst friends or if I can get competitive against AI Bots. I love my machine bot friends cause they don't cry like 10 year olds when they lose.

48. How long does it take your to customize your player character? Too long. I've seriously restarted games because I wasn't happy with my character's appearance.

49. In games where you can pick your class, do you always tend to go for the same type of character? Yes, I am always the magic man, my brother is always brute warrior, and my friend is the ranger.

50. If you were a game designer, what masterpiece would you create? I don't really know. Honestly, I'd rather mod already good games to make them better than create something completely new.

51. Have you ever played a game for so long that you forgot to eat or sleep? No, that'd be ridiculous. But I've had a friend fall asleep playing games at my house 3 different times and currently dozes off during our Minecraft sessions. So, maybe that's not a completely ridiculous thing after all.

52. A game that you begged your parents for as a kid? Kirby 64 apparently. My brother tells me we had to count out pennies to buy it. I must've been too young with no recollection, but I believe it.

53. What’s your opinion on DLC these days? It's good if its not in the game's files from the beginning and is actually developed AFTER launch... and pre-order bonuses should be standard DLC a month or two later. Some games have content lost to time because of that pre-order bullsh*t.

54. Do you give in to Steam sales? Of course. If you want a game and its on sale then why not? I typically wait just for Steam sales to get games.

55. Did you ever make someone you hated in the Sims and did mean stuff to them? No? I typically make people and characters I like in Sims. I've made villains like Dio, but he's an anime villain and I don't really HATE him despite the horrible things he's done.

56. Did you ever play Roller Coaster Tycoon and kill off your guests? No. Never played that game.

57. Did you ever play a game to 100% or get all of the achievements? I try to for all the games I really like.

58. If you can only play 3 games for the rest of your life, which ones do you pick? The Sims 4, Skyrim, & Fallout: New Vegas. Mods make them live forever. Left 4 Dead and Monster Hunter are good choices too.

59. Do you play any cell phone games? Those aren't games.

60. Do you know the Konami Code? No? But I'll take a guess. Is it make an IP and forget it exists?

61. Do you trade in your games or keep them forever? Keep forever... even the bad ones.

62. Ever buy a console specifically to play one game? PS4 Pro for Monster Hunter World. It was basically for early access since the PC version was being developed and releasing after PS4, but I don't like waiting.

63. Ever go to a gaming convention or tournament? Sort of. Been to anime cons and walked into the gaming tournament rooms only to walk out less than 10 minutes later.

64. Ever make a TV or monitor purchase based on what would be best for gaming? No, but I'm going to be doing that soon, hopefully.

65. Ever have a Game Genie, Game Shark or Action Replay? Did it ever mess up your game’s save file? GameShark for N64, PS2, Gameboy, and Action Replay for Gamecube, DS, 3DS. And no not really, I would cheat responsibly... but there was this one time at school my friend and I borrowed another friend's Gameboy game, loaded it up with my Gameshark, tried playing, it crashed, loaded it back up, save file corrupted... we just stared at each other jaws dropped, "Here's your game back, dude. Make sure you don't play it til you get back home!"

66. Did you ever have have an old Nokia with Snake on it? No, but I remember seeing them on billboards in the game DRIV3R on PS2.

67. Do you have a happy gaming-related childhood memory you want to share? Every game I play is filled with happy memories (mostly.)

68. Ever save up a ton of tickets in an arcade to get something cool? These tiger plushes. My brother got white and I got orange. They were the coolest. Got a butt load of tickets from some jackpot spinning light game thing as I was good at the timing with repeated jackpot hits.

69. In your opinion, best game ever made? I've played quite a few masterpiece games, but to pick one, I'd say Fallout: New Vegas

70. Very first game you ever beat? Super Mario 64. I was a mere child on a Sunday morning and ate celebratory pancakes made by my Dad.
