I have learned that some people don't believe water has hydrogen in it, and spend upwards of $70-90 buying a water bottle with a pretty blue light. Because that water bottle...says it will add hydrogen....to the water inside it.

I actually did my physical therapy exercises tonight for the first time in a long time and I am Sore and probably gonna regret it tomorrow, but it was very much needed. I did a thing to take care of myself! The bar is low but I'm proud!!

#rambles #personal #fr tho like. i cannot describe how Bad my health/mobility has gotten in the last couple years alone #to illustrate: I have about the same strength and range of motion as my near-70 y/o mama #who is also severely disabled and on oxygen #and I'm in my 30s #i avoid exercise and activity a lot bc im so scared of the pain. I've dislocated and subluxed so many times #but avoiding it is actively and drastically worsening my health #and im getting to the age where it's time to stop fucking around and actually make changes #if i want to live longer AND have any kind of quality of life #so. PT to start #work back up to walking longer distances and cardio #and quit fucking smoking (which i have an appt to get some help with) #chronic pain

Is it a loop or is it a spiral because the sun is also moving so I'm pretty sure the earth goes in a sort of slanted spiral around it I'm not sure because a loop implies the beginning position is the same as the end position but even if they're not at the same coordinates in the grand scheme of things it's still the same position relative to the sun so that might be whats really important here

If you look at other examples of a loop (roller coaster, a knotted cord, freeway on/off-ramps), none of those have the start exactly the same as the beginning but we still call them loops but why is THIS a roller coaster loop and THAT a roller coaster spiral?

Is it the amount of rotations? Then why is a roller coaster with multiple rotations like this one still called a loop?

Maybe it's the orientation. The first one more or less just goes up then down with little side-to-side while the other one goes left-up-right-down

Then what about corkscrews? Twisters? The Good Ole Circle.

Considering planetary movement and all that junk, is any loop produced on Earth a true loop because with how fast we're moving all the time is it possible to ever reach the same point for a second time?

Now consider the narrative loop, the timeloop, Sisyphus and his spherical boulder, me having to go to work again tomorrow

A wave of incense flows out the door as Tango and Jimmy walk in, sending them both into a coughing fit. The wave is accompanied by a man wearing cheap purple robes that are nonetheless clearly well taken care of. He’s perched in a wooden wheelchair studded with more maybe-real-probably-fake crystals. He rolls to Tango and Jimmy with unmatched enthusiasm. His arms are spread wide and the perpetual grin on his face gleams in a way that Tango can never tell is real or not. Either way, Scar seems to be in a very good mood today.

#i literally woke up at 3:30 am with such a bad headache and I hadn't been able to move since i went to bed bc if i did i could feel the #mucus in my nose shifting from one side to the other which is disgUSTING so i took decongestants at 3:30 and it didn't help so i got up at #4:00 am and took advil and then sat on the couch for an hour until i fell asleep sitting up and then i woke up and took more drugs at #8:30 during class and then i was Fine well past the six hour mark UNTIL #UNTIL FUCKIN 5:30 AND THEN I STARTED GETTONG CONGESTED SO I TOOK DECONGESTANTS AND IT BARELY HELPED AND NOW IT'S 9:30 AND IT'S EVEN #W O R S E WHICH IS BULLSHIT AND NOW THE HEADACHE IS COMING BACK AND W H Y MUST IT GET WORSE AT NIGHT I HAVE TO BE UP AT 5:40 OKAY I NEED #TO SLEEP AND I CAN'T DO THAT IF I FEEL LIKE IM DYING #anyways if i never post again it's because i died at clinical from lack of sleep and/or lack of oxygen bc i can't breathe through my nose

As a kid I was like "how do people know that a plastic bottle can decompose in 500 years (or w/e) if they haven't been around for that long?"

And now we know

#it doesnt actually decompose! #it gets gets smaller and smaller and smaller! #see with decomposition the separate elements get reused as nutrients #eg an apple falls on the ground. worms n bugs n microbes feed on it. #microbes eat it and break it down. hydrogen and carbon and oxygen bonds break down into separate h and c and o. #microbe dies. its part of the soil. a plants roots go into that soil. it sucks up the carbon and oxygen and hydrogen and uses it to build #more cells. more apple cells. and turns those elements into fructose again! #plastic doesnt do that. it just breaks down until its a few micrometers across and so far... stays there. #some microorganisms are evolving to digest some kinds of plastic but its a long way off.
