Batfleck’s “I bought the bank” line continues to haunt me years later. What do you MEAN you BOUGHT the bank? The whole bank?
The amount of legwork, financial sleuthing, and covering tracks it would take for Bruce Wayne to buy one (1) mortgage in Kansas is astounding. How long did it take? How many people were involved?

- Diana and Bruce hiding on Themyscira -
Sometimes I wonder what it would have been like to see Diana find her way home, even with the help of the others, after the events of ZSJL. (Knowing Bruce and the others if anyone they would have probably found a way with Diana to get back to the island.) I wonder how the amazons would have received Diana's fellow warriors on the island and Bruce who is the most ordinary out of them yet a crucial member of the team. Surely he would have been tested by the amazons to see if he was worthy to set foot on the island and he would have proved it in the end for sure. As Diana was an only child there, she must have had many hiding places, so I imagine this place as one of her favorite childhood hideaways where she often spent time painting on the walls what she saw and experienced on Themyscira. I wish we could have seen them together in this paradise (or just Diana getting back to see her mother is still alive).

Harley: you know I always thought Bruce was the hottie, and then I met this little birdie
Harley playfully scratches at Y/N…
Dick: why did we allow her on the team?
Bruce: Y/N brings out the best in Harley
Y/N: and Harley brings out the worse in me (growls)
Harley growls right back…
Barbara: get a room

Do you think Superman sometimes eats stuff he shouldn't to freak people out
Like, he'll be in a Justice League meeting, and he'll just start casually eating a chair

While Battinson seems like he'd adopt kids upon attaining slightly more mental stability, and Batfleck is broadcasting divorced dad/dead kid dad💀, Christian Bale's Batman (balebat? Nolanbat?) gives me "has never had a fatherly urge in his life" and probably would hold a baby far away from him with his fingers, smiling uncomfortably.

This is random, but I'm watching the Snyder Cut and it just got to the scene of Bruce going over the mountain to find Arthur and I thought to myself "this guy is Relentless" and I realized that I wished there were more Batman fics that explored that. Especially from an outsider POV. Imagine being a villain trying to do crime and the Gotham Creeper is dogging your every step and no matter what you do he just. Keeps. Coming. Ugh. I love Batman.
Yes! Exactly!!
The way I think about it, Bruce has (almost) never found a problem he couldn’t throw money or his body at. Money, being obvious, and his body as in the outer/upper limits of what a human in peak physically condition can truly do.
The problems he can’t solve by being physically faster or stronger or by having limitless gear and technology involve the mind. Bruce — both canonically and in Snyder’s movies — reaches a genius-level intellect, but I don’t think that’s the most important part. It’s, as you mentioned, his relentlessness that’s the linchpin in all of this.
Batman can hunt you down to the ends of the earth; he can outrun you and outfight you if you’re human; he can outsmart you. But most importantly, he is like the ancient hunters, steady and ever-present a quarter mile behind their quarry, unwilling and unable to simply give up.
He will outlast you, and when you stumble, he will be there with bared teeth.

My goodness My Adventures With Superman is so damn good. i'd like to say I'm not a big superman fan, just never really got them. I did watch Man Of Steel and a few episodes of the animated series but besides that not much else unless he appeared in Batman shows basically. But I never really liked Snyder-verse supes and I knew that wasn't the character. The little I did know was from a panel that goes around a lot.
Tumblr media
That was the superman I wanted to see on screen. A hero with all the power in the world but still the heart to help even the smallest problem. And being in movie groups online I saw people try to defend snyder's version saying we would have gotten this superman after 5 more movies or so. That was 5 movies after Justice League by the way. And those are Snyder flicks so at least a 2 hour and 20 minute run time each. You want to know how long My Adventures With Superman takes to get superman? Like gets him to what even a general viewer can tell you feels like superman?
Tumblr media
I personally felt it right about here, after a kid without even knowing he had powers ran to help and then discovers he can fly with the look of pure wonder and excitement in his eyes. THIS IS LESS THAN 2 MINUTES IN TO THE FIRST EPISODE. The first two episodes of this show have already blown the snyder-verse out of the water. After years of "What if superman was evil" stories and making him edgy it is such a relief to have a version of him again that is just a good person. Someone who'd put themselves in danger as long as it saves others. That's not even getting into episode 2 where he is fighting a villain and says "I'm not trying to hurt you, I'm trying to help". It's just really nice to have a character that actually feels like a superhero.

I Love Super Heroes, But I hate the modern Super Hero.
I know it's an Unpopular Opinion in the world right now... But i really wish we could stop going for deconstructing the Super Hero genre. Or needlessly gritty. I wish we could just focus on these characters being good for the sake of being good.
The reason i hate the SnyderVerse is the same reason i hate The Boys, Invincible etc. Good for you, you're gritty and 'realistic'. But you completely ignore the reasons for the characters have to be good. Yes i know this is kind of reductionist, I know the shows mentioned above gives motivations for their cast. But they're kind of weak in my opinion... But i am just another Comic Book Nerd on the Internet. Im not saying they need to be Batman 66... But I haven't seen a live action Superman who felt like Superman in a long time. The Snyderverse felt like it removed Clark Kent from who Superman is. He's not a tortured god. He's a Hick. He's a Farm Boy from Kansas. Batman is another one! I understand The Dark Knight Returns is iconic. It changed how the world saw Batman. But now we are in a cycle of making the character darker and grittier because he's obsessed with vengeance. You've removed the hope that Gotham could be better. When i think about why the Spider-Man movies and games tend to be successful is that unlike the trends with Batman and Superman, they haven't removed the core of who Peter Parker is to Spider-Man. He may not always be right in a situation. He quite frequently makes the wrong decision. But he always tries. There is hope. There is the belief that he needs to do what he can because With Great Power Come's Great Responsibility he is the only one who can. Batman used to be like that too. Superman has the ability to be like that again. My Adventures With Superman was the most amazing Superman I have seen in a long time. Someone finally paid attention to who Clark is.
